Gina woke up the next morning and heard of the plans to surprise Ricky but didn't join in not wanting to mess up his day.
Ricky was blowing out his candles happy and can be when he realized, where's Gina?
Gina was doing yoga when Val walked up to her "hey can I interrupt?" Val asks "yes I was looking for a reason to stop" Val stepped a bit closer "I just came to say goodbye I need to get back to campus and I haft got leave before the show ends" Val says "oh wow college" she tries not to let the thoughts of Ricky going to college flood her mind, "are you okay?" Gina froze and she wanted to vent so badly so she asks Val "will you keep a secret" Val nods "me and Ricky have been secretly dating and we had this huge fight last night and now he won't even look at me" Gina bursts out glad to let it all free, "well I knew something was going on between you and Ricky" Gina thinks maybe it's not so bad people knowing she just is so scared that everybody knowing will make it real and Ricky would run, "look Gina if he's the right person then things will fall into place trust me" Val hugs her then tells her to go meet Maddox for camp nicknames.
Gina was in her gown when she saw Ricky and he looked so handsome, she goes over to him and pulls him away to talk, "look I'm sorry" they both say then laugh, " I shouldn't have snapped at you like that without an explanation" Ricky says "and I shouldn't have asked something of you without giving one" Gina says "the reason why I didn't want people to know is, Ricky I have loved you since homecoming and when we got together I was so scared that if everyone knew it would be to real for you and you would leave" she says and a single tear falls down her face, he swipes it away "I'm not gonna run anymore I promise" he said gently "I'm sorry I hurt you" Gina says "I'm sorry to" he says and she kisses him and relief floods her body when his lips meet hers, when they pull apart he rests his forehead on hers "let's wait to tell people until after the show don't need anymore drama" Ricky says "ok" Gina says giving him one last quick kiss before running out to fix her makeup.
Ricky stood there for a moment, he promised not just Gina but himself he wouldn't run she's it for him and after talking with Carlos about it this morning a bit he decided that he was gonna give as much as he can to spend the rest of his life with her.
the show was going well until let it go of course but Gina dealt with Channing. It was time for the kissing scene and Ricky was excited he's never gotten to kiss her in front of so many people, the scene goes on without a hitch and when she leans in and there lips touch they both immediately deepen the kiss lips moving together like they were made for each other, they kiss for a few moments before they remember where they are and both blushing run off stage.
as soon and they bow Ashlyn and Kourtney corner Gina "what the hell was that kiss!" Kourtney asks and Gina wants to tell them but her and Ricky made a fun plan during intermission on what to tell them, "we just got caught up in the moment" Ashlyn scoffs "more like 5 moments" she says and before they can say anything more Ricky runs in, yes just it time she thinks, "hey Gi! Look what Nini gave me" he shows her the lotto ticket "that's amazing" Gina says and then grabs the quarter she sees and gives it to him, he scratches it "I won 2 dollars" he says and Gina giggles "you got your list done" she says "7 year old me would be proud" he says and looks at her for confirmation about what he's gonna do, she nods yes, "did you tell them" he asks "no I was waiting for you" he nods then turns to them "guys me and Gina have a big announcement" he says and Gina has a hard time holding her laughter in, "at school any PDA will cost 5 dollars" Kourtney and Ashlyn look very confused "wait Ricky we don't have the money for that" Gina says in fake worry "then I'll haft to do this now" he leans in and kisses her and they both laugh into the kiss when they hear Ashlyn and Kourtney gasp and stutter not knowing what to say, "we got them good" Ricky says as he pulls away " oh yeah" Gina nods laughter still evident in her voice "when did this happen" Ashlyn says "opening night of Beauty and the beast" Gina winces ready for their reaction "that long!" They both say "what are you guys talking about" Maddox asks walking up "Ricky and Gina have been dating for over a month and kept it from us!" Maddox just laughs "yeah Jet told Me" "JET!" Ricky says shaking his head, "who else knows" Kourtney asks "everyone except you" Gina looks at him "E.J knows?" Ricky looks at her "he guessed last night" Ricky says shrugging, they ask lots of questions and Ricky and Gina answer them hands intertwined.
after the fire Ricky and Gina are at the pool "want to go swimming" he asks "yeah but let's ask everyone" she says and he pouts "we can do that stuff when we get home" he nods but gives her one last passionate kiss before getting up to get the others.
they are all in the pool having fun when Gina comes behind him and warps her arms around him resting her head on his shoulder, "this is nice having all are friends here" she says "family they are our family" Ricky corrects and Gina smiles "family" she whispers, "hey lovebirds come on we are doing a cannonball contest" Ashlyn calls them over and they swim over there, neither have been happier then they are right now.
10 years later...
"and that sweetie is the story of how me and your mom met and fell in love" Ricky said to his 4 month old daughter in his arms, Gina comes in "telling her the story again" she asks as she gives him a peck on the lips, "it's my favorite one" they both smile at one another. They really did get there happily ever after.
