Mal is the daughter of the greatest villain, while Ben is the heir of the example of goodness. They were opposites, although everyone knew it, ignored it... not everyone. Soon-to-be-king Ben has made up his mind and decides to bring over four children from the Isle of the Lost to Auradon with the belief that the children are innocent, despite their parentage. He extends a hand to give them a chance that no one else will. or, descendants 1 rewrite.

When they imprison the world's greatest villains on the Isle, Auradon takes the opportunity to toss in other undesirable elements clogging up the picturesque scenery: cursed objects, dangerous weapons, unlucky magic practitioners, etc. This has consequences. Or: the cursed amulet market on the Isle is FLOODED.

"Mal, calm down," Fairy godmother said noticing how pale the young girl became. "I know you said your dad died, but you and your brothers are radiating far more power than a fae should possess and I just want to help." That didn't seem to help one bit, Olympus couldn't know. They'd thought being in Auradon meant freedom from stress. Freedom from the Isle's dangers and constant starvation. Things King Ben could fix. That Mal could fix. I always thought that Harry Hook didn't seem like he was related to Captain Hook. And Pirates of the Caribbean is a Disney property, which means the characters could exist in the Descendants universe... On hiatus while working on another project.

When Ben decides to bring a new set of villain kids to Auradon, Mal and her friends are hopeful that they too can change for the better. However, these new arrivals - led by Mal's older brother Damon, a charming and dangerous schemer with a mysterious connection to Evie - are still evil to the core, and are determined to finish the job that the first four VKs couldn't complete.

What happens if the AKs, the Vks, and the Heroes come together and read the past about the Villain kids living on the prison island called Isle of the Lost?
