A few days before Yuya duels the Sledgehammer...
It was a celebratory morning in a young girl's house who was dressing up for Halloween. Her name was Allie, a girl who is a student of You Show Duel School, with hopes of being a great duelist, and entertain the crowd with her Deck. While doing that she had unintentionally set a chain of events by asking an innocent question to her friend, and big sister figure, Zuzu Boyle, which resulted in the two with another friend of there's Yuya Sakaki, the son of You Show's Founder, Yusho Sakaki, all being together. And they became a big family to each other.
Well them, and someone else...
"Allie?" was the voice of her mother who opened the door to see her daughter who was dressing up in her costume for the Halloween Party, You Show will be hosting.
"Yeah mom?" Allie asked turning with a smile as she was wearing her mermaid outfit.
Her mother smiled before saying, "Would you mind helping Iris into her costume before we head to You Show please?"
They walked into a small room where a baby girl with green, and red hair mostly red was sitting in a crib before giggling. At first glance it seemed like she is Allie's little sister but was instead something much more. Allie's mother picked her, and hands her to Allie, "Keep her in your arms, and hold her like I taught you."
"I remember mom." Allie smiled.
After taking her costume which was a fish like costume Allie sets her down, and starts to dress her up. Iris giggled happily wearing it.
"Well Allie your taking into this role of motherhood really well." her mother smiled seeing this.
Yeah, you heard that right, the girl Iris is in fact Allie's daughter. It started off as a simple question leading to something that changed the lives of her, Yuya, and Zuzu, and to where later in life Iris had joined their family. At first they weren't sure what to do, and came to a special place called Miracle Garden to figured out something to where the current generation owner called Akane Etra had convinced them to let them keep Iris to not make the same mistakes she did.
"Well, Iris is super cute and I love her a whole lot." Allie smiled kissing her daughter's head. "Come on sweetie, let's go see everybody else at You Show."
Iris giggled a bit as they headed to You Show together with Iris in a stroller. When they arrived in You Show they hear the song Monster Mash playing.
"Sounds like the party is starting." Allie smiled as she rolled in. "Big sis Zuzu? Principal Skip? Yuya?"
Hearing that Zuzu who was dressed as her ace Mozarta the Melodious Maestra looked over, and smiled seeing her, "Allie! Glad you can make it!"
Allie smiled picking up Iris as she walked over. "I didn't want to miss this big sis."
"Oh Iris in that fish costume looks really cute! Hi my cute fish niece. How are you doing?" Zuzu asked with a smiled kneeling to see her. Iris respond with a giggle clapping, "She's doing great." Smiling at Allie, "Come on Allie, let's find Yuya. He was waiting for you, and Iris."
Allie nodded with a smile as the three of them looked for Yuya. Soon at the lobby where they see the guests, and family of the students some of them along with Yoko, Yuya's mother, and Skip, Zuzu's father were talking with smiles.
They soon see Yuya was sitting at the large table getting himself some punch. Yuya has crimson, and green hair with a strand on his head along with goggles on the top of his head with a star on one with a Pendulum on his neck. His costume shows himself dressing as the count of Halloween himself; Count Dracula with some makeup on with no fake blood, and some red paint on his neck to show a Vampire Bite.
Seeing him Iris giggled as Allie smiled walking over. "Oh no, please don't suck my blood Mr. Vampire."
Confused hearing that Yuya looked over, and smiled, "Allie! Iris!" He walked picking the two up effortlessly with a chuckle, "Now this party can get started! I was waiting for you two my lovely beloved, and daughter."
Allie smiled as Iris giggled happily and started clapping her hands.
"You two picked good costumes. I wanted to go as a Magician like one of my own but they didn't have any at the store so, I went as Drac." Yuya said to them with a smile chuckling.
"I think you make a great vampire Yuya." Allie smiled.
"Ah thank you. That deserves a reward." With that he leaned kissing her neck.
She gasped before giggling. "That tickles."
He grinned reaching to do it again but got bopped on the head by Yoko who said warningly, "Oh no! None of that today!"
Chuckling nervously Yuya said sheepish with a smile, "Uh, sorry mom. I guess I got carried away." He sets Allie, and Iris down before saying, "Well now I'm glad you two were able to make it."
"We wouldn't miss the party." Allie smiled.
"You, and Iris look lovely Allie." Yoko smiled to her, "Was she being good when you watched her?"
"She was an angel." Allie smiled giving Iris to her grandmother.
Yoko holds her smiling watching her. Yuya only chuckled, "Only when she wants too. There are times where she acts like an angel... but other times not so much." He said that laughing a little while sweatdropping.
Well that was true cause when the truth came out their parents agreed to let them raise Iris only if they receive help, and cause they don't have a house to live in together, they have to raise her separately often exchanging her every week. Allie gets Iris 1 week, Yuya raises her for another switching every week. At first Allie thought parenting would be easy... she found out the hard way it wasn't.
Flashback 1 Week Prior...
"WAAAAAAHHHHH!"
Allie woke up for a third time at night hearing her daughter crying in the middle of the night sometime after they returned from Miracle Garden with Iris. Yawning she got out of bed before walking to the crib and reaching down to her. "Iris, it's ok... mommy's here."
Iris cried which Allie smells something bad from her. Allie scrunched up her nose before gently picking up her daughter and walking over to change her diaper. "No wonder you woke up, that can't feel comfy."
Feeling a hand on her shoulder she looked seeing her mother who smiled, "Let me help you Allie." She offered a nose plug to her daughter.
Allie nodded taking it. "Thanks mom."
After changing her, Allie's mother sighed with a smile, "One time for bad dreams, another for feeding, and third for changing. Parenting is not easy as it looks does it Allie?"
"No, it isn't." Allie admitted rocking Iris gently. "But... it makes me happy."
"Well, you have us, and Yuya whenever he comes." her mother smiled before yawning, "Go ahead, and get back to bed Allie. I'll help Iris go back to sleep."
"I'm ok mom." Allie smiled. "I want to stay with my baby girl."
"Well make sure you don't fall asleep on the chair. It's not safe, and comfortable." she told her before walking out back to bed.
Allie smiled looking down at Iris as she continued gently rocking her daughter. Allie smiled looking down at Iris as she continued gently rocking her daughter.
Her daughter was gently snoozing against her as she rocked them together on a rocking chair. Allie feels happy, and content to have someone like Iris in her life with Yuya being the one who gave it to her. If she didn't ask her question, she probably would never have Iris in her life, and wouldn't want to miss out on that. She's glad to be a mother, and proud of it too.
End Flashback...
Allie chuckled a bit from what Yuya said.
"Well, you two are doing a wonderful job taking care of her." Yoko smiled.
"Honestly it was thanks to you, and Mr. and Mrs. Mizuto." Yuya admitted to her.
"We didn't do that much Yuya." Yoko smiled before handing Iris back to Allie. "Well, don't let me keep you three. Enjoy the party."
They nodded as Yoko walked off before Yuya turned kneeling to the two with a smile, "So you two, you been doing good for this week?"
"We've been good Yuya." Allie smiled.
"She giving you trouble at night?" Yuya asked her.
Yuya sighed at that, "Well when it comes time for her to take a bath, it's an adventure."
He meant this of course that Iris goes on a fit when he tries to give her a bath which resulted in him being soaked a lot which make him ask for either Yoko, or Allie when she visits to help him out. He then takes a shower since he gets caught on Iris' filth afterward.
"I don't have trouble." Allie giggled. "Iris is a cute little fish when we take baths together."
"And your her mermaid mother." Yuya joked.
Iris giggled at that.
"Oh you like that Iris." Yuya chuckled at that, "Give her here Allie, I want to see my baby girl in my arms."
He stands up smiling to Iris before saying in a baby voice, "Hi there, Iris. Is someone being good to her mommy?"
Iris giggled happily at that.
"Yes? Daddy's glad to hear that. Well Daddy will be with ya next week so we can have fun." Yuya said chuckling with her.
She giggled more at that.
Allie smiled before noticing someone. "Oh, Frederick!"
Who she called as a big boy her age with green hair wearing a T-Rex Costume who looked over before smiling in a German Accent, "Allie!" He waved to her.
Who this is is Frederick, who otherside from Allie is the youngest student of You Show Duel School. You Show doesn't get much funding, and students due to an event that happened three years ago, but Frederick along with Allie are so far still supporters of Yusho in their School. Allie smiled hugging her friend. Frederick hugged her back with a smile before asking, "How do you like the party so far Allie?"
"It's a lot of fun." Allie smiled.
"Is your baby-Dino here?" he asked her.
When he met Iris he was amazed by his friend having a baby but was happy for it, and refers her as a 'Baby-Dino' from his thing with Dinosaurs similar to Allie's thing with fishes.
"She's with her daddy right now." Allie answered.
"Well glad you, and her can make it." Frederick smiled to her, "Maybe you guys want to play some party games?"
"Maybe in a bit, I want Allie to try something here." Yuya said to him handing Iris back to Allie.
"What is it Yuya?" Allie asked while carefully holding her daughter.
While walking her over Yuya have his funny face to Iris to get her to laugh. Seeing it Iris started giggling a lot before trying to copy him. Yuya chuckled, "Well look there Allie, our daughter's a Dueltainer already."
"She sure is." Allie smiled kissing Iris on the forehead.
When they reached it what Allie is looking at what looks like bars of a desert.
"Wow." Allie whispered in awe.
"I decided to try making these from an idea... what your looking at are S'mores Bars. A Graham Cracker bottom with melted Marshmallows on it, and then melted chocolate at the top." Yuya admitted with a slight nervous chuckle, "No cracker for the top though."
"They look really good." Allie smiled taking one and taking a bite. "Wow, they're super yummy."
"Oh thank goodness I was worried, I did them too much. I added some cinnamon in the marshmallow but thought it wouldn't work." Yuya said sighing in relief.
Allie smiled seeing his reaction.
"Mom told me not to worry, but I couldn't help it since I been trying my hand on this." Yuya admitted to her.
Allie smiled. "You did a really good job."
"Oh thank you." Yuya smiled kissing her forehead.
She blushed slightly. "What kinds of games are there this year?"
"Well... there's bobbing for applies, spider toss, and my own favorite pumpkin catapult." Yuya answered with a smile.
Hearing the last one Iris giggled and clapped excitedly.
"Oh sounds like Iris will love Pumpkin Catapult." Yuya chuckled hearing that.
"Yeah, just like her daddy." Allie giggled.
With that they mingled with the guests playing the games. They tried Pumpkin Catapult first even letting Iris have a try by pulling the lever which made her almost get a bullseye. Then they tried Spider Toss which Allie gotten a bullseye twice. Finally bobbing for applies which Yuya, and Allie both bought their heads down pulling out an apple which has each other on it.
After a while though Iris started to cry in Yuya's arms.
"Oh, Iris what's wrong honey?" Yuya asked on her side the moment she started.
She was crying only for Allie to blink. "Oh, she's hungry Yuya."
"Huh? Oh." Yuya smiled before taking out a bottle from a bag he has, "Here Iris, got some yum-yum for ya."
She kept crying until the bottle was in her mouth as she started drinking the milk.
"Alright, good Iris." Yuya smiled seeing this as she ate peacefully.
"She's so cute." Allie smiled gently kissing Iris on her forehead.
When she finished Yuya placed the bottle down, and moves Iris where she's on his shoulder before patting her back to help her burp. After three pats she lightly burped. He smiled before pulling her back looking at her in his arms, "Your tummy full Iris?"
She giggled before curling up and closing her eyes.
"Where's her stroller?" he asked Allie.
"In the classroom." Allie answered.
He nodded as they walked together to the classroom together to put Iris in the stroller. She was gently sleeping. After finding it, Yuya softly places her down on the stroller for her to be comfortable.
"Yuya?" Allie asked. "Do you think she's going to have a nice life?"
He smiled to her saying, "I'll make sure of that."
Allie smiled at that, but unknown to both of them in the next few days events would start to unfold that would change their lives and the lives of their friends and loved ones forever.
Several Days Later...
Allie was at home with Iris, and her parents in their normal clothes watching a match on TV showing Yuya against the current Dueling Champion, the Sledgehammer. At first Yuya had it in the bag but the Sledgehammer retaliated, and pushed Yuya to a corner, and from the looks of things Yuya's options are limited.
"Oh no!" Allie panicked as Iris was crying.
Just then Yuya suddenly gained a look of confidence, and before their very eyes he used something they never seen before using two cards which transformed into Spell Hybrids, and used it to summon three monsters including a new version of his Odd-Eyes Dragon; Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon.
"What in the world?" Allie's father asked seeing that.
With them Yuya managed to wipe out the Sledgehammer with the new cards he has having effects to stop the Sledgehammer's effects, and wins the match. Iris looked on in awe seeing that.
"Whoa, Yuya..." Allie trailed off in awe.
Ulrich362: And we'll pause there and see the results of this new technique Yuya acquired next time right Bopdog?

Ulrich362: True, so anything else to let our readers know Bopdog?
bopdog111: Well Iris is the main point of this fic but as she's an infant she won't do much as of now.
