"A mistake." you say, Sakura heard the loud voice of a man she didn't recognize echo through her room.
"Yes, we have no reason to lie to you." a woman answered the man her voice was filled with venum.
"Why should I accept that girl and not send her back with you? After all, you already tried to trick me." The man asked the woman before the angry voice of a man followed.
'Watch your young! you may be the ruler of this mountain but you are nothing but a weak man from Earth!"
Sakira flinched when the sound of what seemed like a blade being unsheath cut through the air and a girl let out a frightened scream.
"You're right I am weak, but my sword and my men arnt. leave the girl and get out of my lands."
"Oh and before I forget, don't even think about getting a drink of water. My men will escort you out so leave."
Sakura could only watch as the door to her room opened and a girl who was dressed in clothes that were similar to the ones that she had been forced to wear walked in and behind her was the man who had spoken to her yesterday.
"I'm sorry that you had to see that." he says to the girl.
'Forgive me, we must have scared you.' he says to her when he notices that she is awake.
"I know how cruel this is going to sound, but the two of you are from the same village so you can help each other get used to this place." he says to her and the girl who still has her face hidden.
Sakura watched as the man led the girl to the bed and sat on its side. Again I'm sorry that you had to come here." he says to the two of them.
"Wh, wh, why?' the girl asks him but struggles to say the word.
"It's the rules of war and your people don't value anything but power. That was a lesson that we learned the hard way." he answers her.
"What are you going to do with us?" Sakura asks the man who still has his back turned to her.
'Nothing, to be honest, I didn't want either of you to come here, but the world and its rulers are cruel, so none of us can go back to how things were."
"Feel free to explore, go to school, train, and learn everything that you can."
"I know that you were sent to me as wives of conquest, but neither I nor anyone else here cares for those things. So live your lives, this will be your home and I will always be here to help you." he says to her.
Sakura doesn't say anything as the man slowly removes the girl's veil and Sakura nearly gasps when she sees that Hinata the daughter of the Hyuga Clan head is beneath it.
Sakura doesn't have the strength to say anything anymore, everything that she just experienced now seems even more real.
She wanted to believe that this was all just a bad dream and that she would open her eyes and be home again, after that she would wake up and get ready for the academy before.
She felt when the man stood up, but she failed to notice when Hinata crawled into the bed and curled into a ball.
She didn't know how long they listened to Hinata cry, it wasn't that she didn't want to say something or try to help her calm down but she didn't know what to say and do after all she was going through the same thing.
"Sir forgive me for interrupting your moment but we have a situation." a guard says to the man who signals to him to come in.
"Is it wise to speak about this in front of them." the guard asks the man.
'They already know about one of our secrets, long as they don't know how we do things, it will be okay." the man answers the guard.
"We have word from the higher-ups. They say that there are ripples all over the enemy half of the world."
Sakura doesn't say anything as both men look at each other.
"So they did kidnap our people. Do you know if they managed to?" the man asks the guard.
"From the information that we have before the wall was created, everyone whose minds they entered died and all of the information inside their heads died with them.' the guard answers the man.
"...Good, tell the maids to send us some food. I imagine that neither of them has eaten." the man who Sakura now guessed was the leader of the village orders his guard who nods and walks out of the room.
"Can I ask you for something?" Sakura says to the man as she tightens her hands and makes her fist turn white.
"If there's another war, I want revenge.' she says to the man whom she was given.
"If that is what you want, I won't stop you." he says to her
.
"What about you?" she hears him ask Hinata who slowly lifts her head.
"I don't want to see them again.' she says to their husband and Sakura is surprised that Hinata can talk without stuttering, for all the time that she has known Hinata she was never able to say anything clearly before.
"Then I welcome the two of you to the Garden of the Desert, but we just call it the Lost Mountain." he says to them.
"Okay but what is the village name?" Sakura asks the man.
'It doesn't have one yet." he answers her.
