It had been two weeks since Shizuo and Tom spoke with the man about his attack. Since then, more attacks and sightings had happened. And worse still, two of the victims were found dead. This person, or monster, was no longer just beating people up, but butchering them. To the point only DNA and dental records could identify the dead victims. One of the bodies had been literally torn to pieces which only cemented the belief it was not a human, but a monster. For a while the main rumor was, that the killer was just Hollywood using a new costume.

Though, a few people had their doubts. Among the doubters was Shizuo's baby brother Kasuke, since he fully trusted Ruri and knew she wasn't guilty of these attacks. Though it wasn't just his unbreakable trust of her that proved to him she wasn't the killer. There was also the fact when each attack happened, he was with Ruri at the time. So it was impossible for her to do such things, while being by his side
People finally decided it wasn't Hollywood, when a witness came forward after the second murder. According to the woman who was on a date with the murder victim, the killer actually spoke to her. She claimed the killer had a calm, almost emotionless icy voice. And seemed to have no interest in harming her. After killing her date, the creature had introduced itself to the woman who was too frightened to run away. The killer, or monster as some believe it to be, referred to itself as Deadwolv. An odd name, and an odd thing for a monsterous killer to do. To leave a witness alive, and even tell the witness its apparent name.
Now the police, and the city had a name to call this mysterious boogeyman. But they still had no motive, or clue on what it truly was. Since even the police were beginning to doubt its humanity. Though, the police did notice something that connected the victims in a way. Each victim, both those who survived and those who died, had connections to gangs. One was even a member of the Yakuza. Each one either a former or current criminal. Which lead the police to believe maybe this was part of some gang war. But which gang was responsible, and how to stop them was uncertain for now.
Even the public heard about the criminal connections, which lead to rumors the killer was a demon hunting down criminals. But Shizuo Heiwajima had his own theory. Whenever something strange and unexplainable happens. Izaya was usually to blame. And the fact each victim had connections to gangs and the Yakuza only made Shizuo believe Izaya was behind it even more. The bartender was currently on his way to one of Izaya's apartments to find out once and for all what the bastard was up to this time.
Izaya sat at his desk doing some research for a client when he heard a loud banging at his door. It sounded as if it was about to be torn off its hinges. "Ah..?" He questioned looking at Namie, gesturing for her to go check. Namie sighed and went to see who it was. But before she reached the door an almost growl like voice shouted. "Bastard open up I know you're in there!" Izaya recognized the voice instantly, and sighed in annoyance. "So unpredictable as always Shizu~chan." He muttered, less worried, and more annoyed. As he said this the door broke down, and the angry debt collector stood there at the doorway glaring.
"Shizu~chan. To what do I owe the pleasure? If I knew you were coming I would have had Namie prepare some tea." Izaya said in his usual innocent voice. "Don't play innocent you damned flea! You know who the killer is and you're behind his attacks, don't deny it, you rotten bastard." Shizuo yelled, eyes scanning the room for anything he can bash the informant with. "What makes you think I am responsible? I love humans, and do not involve myself with monsters." The informant stated calmly, yet in a taunting tone. Shizuo growled and grabbed a nearby coffee table to throw at Izaya.
"Oh, would you look at the time. My shift is over, I need to go home now. See you tomorrow Orihara, if you're still alive, that is." Namie said grabbing her coat and leaving the informant to almost certain death. Izaya looked at her almost pleadingly to beg her to stay. But she ignored him and went home. Izaya's crimson brown eyes then looked back at the angry debt collector. "Now Shizu chan. There is no need to be angry. Like I said, I have nothing to do with Deadwolv. After all it's not like I know how to raise the dead and control them." He added with a smirk.
Shizuo paused at this comment and lowered the table. "Eh?" Was all he could mutter in confusion. What did the flea mean by raising the dead? He wondered staring at his nemesis. "Now Shizu chan. Did you think they chose the word Dead to put in their name as a joke, or to be edgy? No, there is a reason. The same reason why bullets didn't kill them. They are already dead." Izaya said in a matter-of-fact tone, like a teacher lecturing a student.
"Impossible, you're lying." Shizuo grumbled, though, he was unsure if he was right. "Oh really? So, demon swords can exist, a headless biker is normal. But an undead serial killer is impossible?" Izaya remarked, as if teasing Shizuo for being stupid to think it was a lie. Shizuo glared at him. "How do you know this if you're not responsible huh?" He then asked, still glaring, as if hoping Izaya would spontaneously drop dead.
"I'll show you. If you put my table down, without breaking it or anything else." Izaya told him. Shizuo mumbled curse words under his breath then set the table down as gently as he could. "If this is a trick, I'll snap you in half like a twig." He threatened with a pissed of smirk. Izaya smiled, showing no sign of worry. So, either it wasn't a trick, or he was so sure the trick would work before Shizuo could harm him. The informant then went over to his desk opening a drawer. Shizuo began to worry the informant was reaching for a gun, but instead the informant pulled out an envelope filled with pictures and newspaper clippings.
