The Juggernaut roared as Bell angrily marched his way toward it. The ground beneath him cracked from the sheer pressure he was exuding from his body.
The Juggernaut let out another roar as the boy drew closer. He felt his cursed energy running through his body, strengthening him from within.
The Juggernaut launched at Bell, but he sidestepped it and grabbed its tail. He threw it, and the Juggernaut slammed into the wall, causing a dust cloud to rise.
Bell jumped back as the Juggernaut swiped its razor-sharp claws at him again, pieces of his shirt falling to the ground.
"Hmm, it sliced through my infinity. Oh, I get it now. You're designed to kill adventurers, no matter their skills or abilities. Seems the dungeon is truly alive after all."
Bell front flipped over the claw, and the axe kicked the creature in the head, causing it to bounce off the ground.
"Hmm, seems you have no internal organs as well. Else, brain damage would've taken you out by now."
He leaned back and watched as the beast harmlessly flew over him. The Juggernaut let out another roar, which showed its anger and confusion at the situation.
Why wasn't this adventurer screaming in terror and then dying? Its mother said kill them all. So why wasn't this boy dying? Why did he refuse to die?
It launched at Bell again, and the boy took a single step back, and the Juggernaut flew harmlessly past him.
"You're fast, I'll give you that. It's a shame for you that you're against my eyes."
Bell grabbed the claw that was aimed at his head. He pulled it out of the creature's paw, causing it to screech in pain.
Bell threw the claw at where the monster's stone was located and watched as it impaled the creature. Yet it didn't turn to dust and charged again.
Bell jumped back again and looked at the beast in surprise.
"What, no monster stone?!! Then how the hell is that thing alive?!!"
Bell jumped over the creature and landed on the ridge where Jura had stood when he first arrived. He examined the creature closer and felt his blood begin to boil.
This monster would've wiped out his friends if he wasn't here. A monster designed by the dungeon to kill any adventurer that it set its sights on. That bastard Jura had summoned it.
"Right then. Guess I'll just have to beat you to death then."
Bell launched at the creature and delivered a right hook to its face. He dodged a swipe and uppercutted it in the gut.
He spun on his heel, avoiding its claws before jumping atop it and axe-kicking its head. He jumped off and threw blue, which bounced off and flew back at Bell.
It was stopped by his infinity and fizzled out into nothing.
"Hmm, so you can reflect cursed energy, too. Right, looks like I'll have to break that shell of yours then if I want to do any damage."
The Juggernaut screamed at Bell, and he sighed in annoyance. Bell dashed at the Juggernaut, grabbed its tail, and began swinging it around.
He released it and sent it flying across the room. It hit the wall and bounced back to Bell. The beast launched its tail at Bell, and the boy ducked under it. He jumped into the air and axe kicked the beast again, and it fell to the floor.
It got back up and ran at Bell again, who was now standing atop the ridge again. Bell ran at the Juggernaut, and the two met halfway.
He ducked under a swing and jumped over the beast. Axe kicking its head into the ground again. Bell clasped his hands together and infused them with black flash, slamming it into the Juggernaut's back.
He jumped back and watched as it slowly pushed itself up, hissing in pain. It looked back at him with angry red eyes. Much like the boy's own.
It screamed at him and launched its tail at him again. Bell dodged it, and the Juggernaut swiped a claw at his side. It ripped through his shirt and sliced his skin. Blood flowed from the wound, and the creature hissed at him. It had cut through his infinity.
Bell ignored the pain and grabbed the claw. He pulled the Juggernaut forward and uppercutted it. It went flying into the air, and Bell jumped after it. He axe kicked it back down and jumped atop it. Bell wrapped his legs around its neck and grabbed its other clawed paw.
Bell used his free arm to repeatedly punch its head as he continued to hang onto the monster. It swung its tail around wildly, trying to get Bell off it.
He continued to hang on and slammed the claw into its head again and again, the creature letting out a cry of pain each time. Bell released its paw and pulled his fist back. He threw a black flash-infused punch to the monster's face.
He watched as cracks appeared on its shell, and punched it again and again. Cracks slowly covering the creature's entire head. Bell jumped back and landed a few feet away from the monster.
It screamed and launched its tail at him once more, but the boy caught it. Bell threw the creature and watched as its shell shattered.
It screamed in agony as its shell was no longer protecting its soft, fleshy body. It let out another scream and launched itself at Bell again.
Bell threw Blue at it and severed one of its arms off. The juggernaut fell to the ground face-first and slid. It tried to get back up but failed as it couldn't maintain its balance.
Bell moved behind the creature and dodged its tail aimed at his head before grabbing it and ripping it off. The Juggernaut roared in pain and thrashed around in agony.
Bell jumped and landed atop its beach before driving its sharp tail into the beasts back. It pierced the beast's flesh and drove itself through its entire body before coming out on the other side.
The juggernaut was now impaled into the ground and had no way to escape Bell. Even if it could without one arm.
Bell hopped off and, tore the other arm off, and tossed it aside, leaving the Juggernaut limbless and in constant agony. It let out a screech of pain and thrashed about, yet it could not move.
Bell didn't say anything to mock the creature or to express his anger. He just aimed his hand up and watched as Blue turned the beast to mush.

Jura hid and listened to the sounds of the fight. His body was shaking and trembling in fear at the sheer ferocity of the monster. In less than 20 seconds, it had torn through his entire familia and injured more than half of the Astraea familia, and killed one of them.
He could hear the sounds of battle between the white-haired boy and that beast, whatever it was. He didn't know who was winning as he thought if he peeked out, he would die.
After listening for another five minutes, all he heard was silence. But he remained still and quiet despite the pain he was in. His left arm and ear were missing and bleeding, but he couldn't move. Not until he was 100 percent certain the coast was clear.
"Come here, you fucker" Bell growled, grabbing him by the collar and throwing him to the ground.
Jura landed and felt the air get knocked out of his lungs, causing him to wheeze and gasp. He tried to crawl away, but Bell's boot on his leg stopped him.
"Looks like you're unlucky. That beast didn't kill you, so now you're left with me."
Bell used more force and heard a snap come from Jura's leg. Jura yelled in pain and tried to squirm, but Bell kept him in place.
Bell crouched down and grabbed Jura's hair, pulled his head up, and leaned next to his ear.
"You still have three more limbs for me to break and another ear to rip off. Now you're gonna give me every bit of information you can. Any attacks that are coming up. Who sold you the blaze rocks? Where your camps are and how well armed you are. If you don't, well, you already know what'll happen."
"Ok, ok, I'll talk. Just please don't hurt me anymore," Jura cried.
So Bell listened as Jura told him everything. Who sold them the blaze rocks? Where camps and hideouts were. How well armed they were. Which was pretty well. He said there was no attacks coming up, but Bell knew he was lying as his heartbeat picked up. So he applied more pressure to his broken leg.
"Alright, alright, stop. We don't have any attacks coming up, I swear. But if this trap failed, the higher-ups were to enact the bounty protocol," Jura cried.
"Bounty protocol? What is that?" Bell asked, a dangerous edge to his voice.
"I don't know, I don't know. I just heard some of our lieutenants talking about it if our attack failed. I swear, that's all I know. I promise"
Bell saw he wasn't lying and stopped putting pressure on Jura's leg.
"Well, I've gotten all I could out of you."
"Does that mean you'll let me go?" Jura whimpered.
Bell just chuckled. "Oh no. I can't have you summoning another one of those things."
Before Jura could respond, Bell's boot cracked Jura's skull open, killing the man. Bell took his boot away and looked at the catman.
"I'll leave you for the monsters," Bell spat.
He walked away from Jura's corpse and to the lower half of Asta's body. He didn't know the dwarf girl well, but she was a member of his familia, so he held some care for her.
"Sorry, you died this way, Asta. But don't worry, I won't leave your corpse for the monsters." His tone was somber and gentle. He really did feel sorry for her.
Bell raised his hand up and used Blue to disintegrate the lower half of Asta's body. Once it was gone, Bell walked to the entrance of the 29th floor.
He was done being in this dungeon for a while.
.
.
.
.
"Hmm, he did well in that fight. Maybe he'll rise up after all."
"Should he rise up or not? It doesn't matter. As long as we raise Orario up to be the heroes this world needs, our goal will be complete."
"And if Bell is the one to rise up?"
"Then fate is a tricky bitch"
The two were quiet for a minute.
"It's time to enact the bounty protocol. Only the strong will be able to survive what comes next. It's almost time for the final phase."
"Which means Bell needs to hurry up and get stronger. Otherwise, he'll know death."

Back on the 18th floor, most of the Astraea familia was laid out in a makeshift field hospital. Seventy-five percent of the familia was injured. The only ones who weren't were Noin, Nezhe, and Maryuu.
Alise had a hole in her gut, and she'd lost a lot of blood. Lyra lost an eye from shrapnel blowing back in her face. Kaguya and Iska had both lost an arm and were able to stop the bleeding early on. Celty and Ryanna both had concussions from when they hit the wall, and Ryu had multiple broken ribs and a broken back.
Gareth was relatively alright as he only had shards of his axe in his face. Had he not escorted the girls back, they most likely would've died on their trek back to the 18th floor. Thankfully, they had stocked a bunch of potions so the remaining few that still stood could temporally treat the others.
"You think you girls can hold down the fort while I go after the kid?" Gareth asked, his face covered in small bandages.
"Yeah, we got it covered here. Everyone's either stopped bleeding or is passed out. Bring the kid back if you can," Nezhe answered.
Gareth nodded and went to leave the camp. He stopped when seeing the mess of white hair walking toward him on the horizon.
Bell was wearing his sleeve he tore off as a blindfold as his glasses were lost during the battle, most likely destroyed. His other sleeve was tied around his side to act as a makeshift bandage. Bell walked up to Gareth, and the old dwarf stared at the boy.
"You alright lad?" Gareth softly asked.
"No. But I did what needed to be done. How is everyone else?"
"They're stable for the time being. But we'll need to get them back to the surface to get them better checked out. I'll run down to Rivira and get some folks to help us carry the wounded up. You get some rest, kid."
Bell nodded and walked past Gareth and into the field hospital. He looked around and saw the sleeping forms of his friends.
He felt a rage burning inside him, but he kept it under wraps. He needed to think with a clear head and not go and get himself killed in his anger.
"You three ok?" Bell asked
The girls nodded their heads as Bell sat down on a log.
"I took care of Asta's body. So you don't have to worry about monsters eating it. The Evilus members, I don't give a shit if they're eaten," Bell spat.
Nezhe crouched next to him and handed him a canteen of water. Bell took it and drank from it, feeling the cool water on his dry throat.
He handed it back to her, and Nezhe pointed at his makeshift bandage.
"May I?" she asked.
Bell nodded. "Yeah, my infinity was turned off a while ago."
Nezhe lifted the bandage up and saw three large cuts on Bell's side. "So that's what you call your forcefield."
Bell remained silent as Nezhe poured the potion down Bell's side.
"So, any idea what that monster was?" Maryuu asked.
"Something meant to kill adventurers. It was able to bypass my infinity without a problem. Doesn't matter your magic or skills. That thing is meant to kill and only kill. I'm certain you all would've died if it was just you guys."
"Why do you say that?" Noin asked.
"This is just pure theory, but I think that thing is only as strong as the floor it spawns on. Otherwise, Gareth would have more than just a few cuts on his face. Plus, the fact Gareth and I were able to react in time to save you three. But it's just pure theory at this point."
Bell took another sip of water before looking down at Nezhe. "So, how bad did that bastard get me?"
"Not too bad, just a few cuts. Other than that, you should be fine."
"Good. That means I'll help with leading everyone back safely. We're not out of the woods until we get them to Airmid. I'll break the news on what happens to Astraea. The rest of you try and get some sleep after we get back."
The three didn't have a chance to argue with Bell as Gareth arrived back with many people from Rivira who carried stretchers.
"Alright, let's get them loaded up and back to the surface," Gareth ordered.
.
.
.
.
The trek back to the surface was quick and clean. Nothing else of note happened on their way back, except Bell was dead silent.
He didn't say a word, just kept his eyes forward. The three girls were worried for him but didn't say anything. Right now, they had to get everyone back to the surface and to Airmid.
They arrived back to the surface in the early morning. The sun had barely risen over the horizon, and the streets were empty. Bell marched ahead of everyone, keeping his eyes peeled for anything that was even remotely suspicious.
But all was quiet as they made their journey. Once reaching Airmids clinic, chaos broke out as nurses and doctors ran back and forth checking on all their patients. Gareth paid the people from Rivira, and they went back on their way.
"Alright, let's get you three home. It's been a long two days," Bell calmly stated.
Again, the three were quiet as they walked through the empty streets of Orario. The winds picked up and blew some trash down the street, but other than that, it was quiet.
When they arrived at the Stardust Garden, Astraea was waiting at the entrance, worry plastered all over her face. She ran up and wrapped the three girls in a hug while Bell stood off to the side.
Again, he felt the rage building up inside him and trying to consume him. Again, he pushed it back down and got his emotions under control. There would be time to grieve after the job was done, and the job wasn't done yet.

Shakti walked into Ganesha's office, seeing the god sitting at his desk and looking out the window. She cleared her throat, and the elephant-masked god turned around.
"Yes, how can I help you, Shakti?" Ganesha asked.
"I've finished my assignment with the prisoner. She told me something interesting."
"Oh, and what was that?"
"That Evilus was designed to bring about a new age, and that Gluttony and Silence know Bell."
Ganesha let out a hum before standing up and walking to Shakti. The woman gulped as her god's figure towered over her own. Something was different about him.
"What I say does not leave this room understood," Her god ordered.
Shakti quickly nodded but remained quiet.
"Only three gods know about the real reason Bell Cranel is here. He is here to bring about the end of this dark age by killing Silence and Gluttony. He possesses a power only a few in history have achieved."
"But what is his relation to those two, my lord?" Shakti asked, trying to keep a calm demeanor.
"He is the Silences nephew. Those two raised him since he was a baby and nearly killed him when he attempted to stop them. He's here because he believes this dark age is his fault."
Shakti stood there in stunned silence. Bell was related to Orario's villains. Was he a villain himself? What was this power he possessed? Was it his ability to not be touched or harmed by any means?
"Is that why people can't harm him?" Shakti asked.
"That's correct. But ever since we gods have descended, some of our more shady gods have blessed certain weapons to break past his infinity. I've only just found this out myself from Ouranus that some were located in Orario."
Shakti didn't know what to say. Bell had a power that no one has, and it took a special way to hurt him if it was up. Just what exactly was Bell?
"And you're sure Bell is on our side. Because he's pretty close with my sister. If he's in any way involved with-
"He's not. I questioned the boy myself, as did Ouranus and Astraea. The boy is just here to fix what he sees as his mistake. Even if it means killing his family," Ganesha said, a hint of sadness in his tone.
Shakti kept her mouth shut and bowed.
"Then I shall trust your word, my lord. I shall take my leave."
"Very well, Shakti. But remember, not a word of this leaves this room."
Shakti agreed and then left.
.
.
.
.
"Fels report," Ouranus asked through the oculus.
"It appears most of the blessed weapons are here, although three are missing. What shall I do, my lord?"
"Destroy the ones you have found. We don't need those being used by Evilus to make Bell's job harder. After that, report back here."
"Yes, your grace."

Bell sat on the couch next to Astraea in her office. She still didn't know what happened as she was taking care of her three traumatized girls.
But after she was done, Bell had already been waiting in her office. She couldn't see his eyes, but she could feel the exhaustion pouring off of him. She walked to her desk and grabbed something before sitting next to Bell.
"Here, Alise made sure to buy a few pairs of yours ever broke," Astraea said, handing him the sunglasses.
Bell took off his blindfold and, put the sunglasses on, and looked at Astraea. She could see his tired and bloodshot red eyes.
"So what exactly happened?" Astraea asked.
Bell let out a sigh and leaned into the couch.
"It was going fine until it wasn't. We made our way down to the 30th floor without a problem. When we reached it, I noticed dozens of blaze rocks on the ceiling. I walked in, knowing I would be fine, and had the entire floor dropped on my head. I was fine, of course, and we continued on our way."
Bell clenched his fist, remembering that bastard of a monster. Astraea noticed this but kept quiet.
"After we entered and had a talk with Jura, then the dungeon cried out like it was in pain. It sounded like a child was wailing, and then it birthed a monster from the ceiling. The next thing I knew, I'm running back and forth, getting whoever I could out of the way. Gareth and I weren't quick enough to save Asta, and it killed her. After that, I made everyone retreat and fought the beast. However, the dungeon created the monster to specifically kill adventurers no matter their magic or skills."
Astraea was silent for a moment before speaking.
"Did it break through your infinity?"
"It did."
The room fell into a silence again, with Bell suppressing his rage to go on a revenge mission and Astraea shocked at the news. She had never heard of a monster like that before. But that didn't need her focus right now.
"Is there anything I can do to help you?" She asked.
Bell didn't reply. Instead, he laid his head on her lap, catching her off guard a little.
"Can I just stay like this? At least for a little while. I'm afraid of what I'm going to do if this rage overtakes me," he shakily asked.
Astraea ran her finger across his hair to help comfort him. "Of course. We can say like this as long as you like."

A sheet of paper blew in the night sky carried by the wind. Most would assume it was a piece of trash, but not Argana. She grabbed it and looked at what was on it, her eyes widening in shock.
"Bache, come here and look at this," She said.
Her sister walked up and looked at the paper, her eyes widening as well.
"We need to show him this, and quickly."
Wanted:
Goddes Astraea.
Reward for death: 50,000,000
Alright, now, before I get into my little goodbye thing, I have someone to call out. As all of you can see, someone by the name of MooseMaster has left some pretty nasty comments. Now, these are just the ramblings of a child who doesn't understand what makes a story with an ability like this interesting.
Now, as many of you saw, Alfia was able to break past Bell's infinity with a spell while holding a staff. Now, I know most of you have brains that aren't smooth, and we're able to see the hints about how she did this, but mister temper tantrum here wasn't.
Now let me point out this is a different universe from JJK as literal gods are walking around, and Toji from JJK would equal a level three, and before any Danmachi super fans say no he wouldn't, he would. Ya'll really overestimate the falna but I'm getting off track.
Now, Moose, I understand mysteries might hurt your head because they require you to use it, and that's fine. Not everyone has intelligence, and that's fine. We shouldn't pick on people like you. But I'd like to point out you haven't written any stories at the time of me writing this. So, I don't expect you to know how to make it enjoyable when someone has an OP ability.
Because if Bell just arrived at a battlefield and won without any stakes, that would be boring, and it's why most OP OCs stories suck ass. The only reason it worked so well for Gojo is because he's a side character, not the main one.
But hey, I don't expect you to read this because you threw such a big hissy fit in chapters four and five that I doubt you've made it this far. Don't worry if you did make it this far here's your diaper.
But with all that aside, I'd like to thank my Russian homie Shirou EmyiaZero, who flew down in my defense. Thank you for that.
Now, Moose, don't worry. I forgive you for your little tantrum. I actually found it quite funny as, believe it or not, you're my first hate comment after almost three years of writing. But I've ranted long enough
So anyway, that's the end of this chapter and the beginning of the bounty system. Well I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you later
