In, Marinette's room, Marinette and Ash are sleeping, but then they're woken up by Marinette's cellphone.
Ash: Huh? Wha? I'm awake!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Marinette: [wakes up] Huh? Happy birthday- ow! [she jumps down the stairs and hits her chaise] Happy birthday! [gets on her computer and turns it on, revealing her desktop background to be a collage of Adrien Agreste's pictures] Ah! Happy birthday, Adrien. [makes kissing noises towards the screen]
Ash: A bit crazy this morning, aren't you, Marinette?
Pikachu: PIKA!
Marinette: [pouts] I am not!
Ash: [teasing] You smooching your screen of Adrien proves it! [giggles]
Pikachu: [giggles] PIKACHU!
Marinette: Do you want me to tickle you again for your teasing?!
Ash: Nope! But you know I'll always get you back! [chuckles]
Marinette: True that! [giggles]
Ash: So, what'd you get for Adrien?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Marinette: I'll show you!
At Adrien's, he was getting ready for the day, and his Kwami seemed to have a gift for him.
Plagg: Happy birthday, Adrien! [brings a piece of Camembert cheese wrapped with a red bow]
Adrien: [disgusted] Ugh, Plagg! Get that filthy piece of Camembert out of my face! [plugs his nose]
Plagg: Huh? [eats the cheese] Mmm.
Back with Marinette and Ash, they were walking down the stairs with a gift in Marinette's hands while her mom is in the kitchen drinking tea.
Sabine: Marinette, don't forget to clean your room after school today.
Marinette: Mom! It's Friday, and I'm already doing something with Alya.
Sabine: Fine, I'll go ahead and clean it, but don't blame me if I come across any of your private stuff, like your e-mails, your diary-
Marinette: [makes a nervous face] Okay! I'll do it, I'll do it.
Ash: And I'll help!

She goes up to her mom, gives her a kiss, and starts to leave.
Sabine: Have a nice day, sweetie! You too, Ash! Pikachu!
Ash: Thanks, Mrs. Cheng!

Marinette: [as she closes the door] Happy birthday- I mean, have a nice day!
Sabine: [surprised face] Hm?
Ash: [whispers] Don't tell her I told you this, but it's Adrien's birthday today and that's why she's all cheerful today!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Marinette: I heard that, Ash!
Ash: No, you didn't! [stick his tongue out] NYEAH!
Marinette: [giggles]
Then, they both left!
Sabine: [shrugs] Hm. [drinks her tea]
Marinette: [pokes Ash playfully] You're a big stinker, you know?
Ash: [giggles] Yeah, I know! [places his hand on his chin] Hmm. I really wanna get Adrien something for his birthday, too!
Marinette: What are you gonna get him?
Ash: That's the problem! I don't know what to give him!

Marinette: Well, I'm sure you'll think of something!
Ash: Yeah, I guess you're right! [starts to run] Race ya to school!
Marinette: [chases after Ash] No fair, Ash! You started first!

Meanwhile, at the Agreste Mansion, Adrien is eating alone at a big dining table, looking sad!
Nathalie: [walks in] Your schedule, Adrien. [hands Adrien a tablet]
Adrien: [takes it] Thanks, Nathalie. [as Nathalie starts to leave] Hey, um, my father get back to you about my birthday party? [his face lights up]
Nathalie: Well, um- He doesn't think it would be a good idea.
Adrien was disappointed!
Adrien: [speaks softly] 'Course not.
Nathalie: Happy birthday, Adrien. [leaves]
Outside of school. Adrien and Nino are talking. Meanwhile, Ash, Alya and Marinette are hiding nearby out of sight. Chloé and Sabrina are in the school but near enough to see what's happening.
Nino: [as he blows bubbles] Dude, seriously? Has your dad always been such a downer? You'd think he'd at least remember what it was like to be young and wanna party a little.
Adrien: No, I'm pretty sure he was a downer back then too. Well, at least I tried.
Nino: [wraps one arm around Adrien] It's your b-day, dude! Insist!
Ash: Poor Adrien! Never having a party in all his life!
Pikachu: [sad] [ears droop] PIKA!
Alya: [encouraging Marinette] You can do it, you can do it!
Ash: Yeah! Don't give up!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Marinette: I can do it, I can do it!
Nino: You know what, I'm gonna have a little convo with your pops.
Adrien: Don't waste your time. He's not gonna change his mind.
Marinette: [pops up to look at Adrien while he's not looking] I can't do it, I can't do it!
Ash: Oh, Marinette! Come on!
Alya: [facepalms] Uh, no you don't, girl. You've been stalling all morning. Now's the time. [pushes Marinette over to Adrien]
Marinette: Ah! [stops right in front of Adrien] Um, he- Hey! [nervous as she holds her gift behind her back]
Adrien: [surprised] Hey.
Ash: [chuckles] Oh, Marinette! [to Adrien and Nino] Hey, Adrien! Nino!
Pikachu: [greeting] PIKA PIKA!
Adrien: Hey, Ash!
Nino: 'Sup!
Ash: Not much! By the way, happy birthday, Adrien! Sorry for overhearing, but I heard you never had a birthday party! But I think I know what might cheer you up at least until after school! Part one of your birthday present! You get to spend the day with my best buddy! It's really good with nuzzles!
Pikachu: [jumps off of Ash's shoulder and onto Adrien] PIKACHU! [nuzzles against his cheek] [coos] CHA!
Adrien: [laughs] Hey, come on! That tickles!
Plagg looked from under Adrien's shirt and was a little jealous, but stayed hidden!
Nino: [pets Pikachu] You sure are a cute little guy!
Pikachu: [happy] PIKA PIKA!
Ash: That's my buddy for ya!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Adrien: But are you sure it's okay for Pikachu to be with me?
Ash: Of course! I don't mind! I'll get him back at the end of the day!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Adrien: Okay! [smiles] Thanks, Ash! This really means a lot! I'll take good care of the little guy!
Ash: Cool!
Chloé: [as she watches what's happening outside] Wait! Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing? Don't tell me it's Adrien's birthday?!
Sabrina: [checks her tablet, is surprised, and makes excusing noises while smiling sheepishly]
Chloé: [facepalms] Ugh, do I have to do everything myself? Seriously, what are you good for? [walks toward Adrien]
Ash: Go on, Marinette! Give him your present!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Marinette: [nervously] I, uh, I wanted to, umm, gift you a make-– I mean, gift you a give I made- I mean...
Ash: [sweat drops] Oh brother!
Then, Chloé came over!
Chloé: [yawns while Marinette is talking and then shoves her away] Out of the way.
Ash: Hey! What's the big idea?!
Pikachu: [angry] PIKA!
Lucario: [angry] MRAH!
Chloé: [acts sweet] Happy birthday, Adrien! [throws herself onto him and gives him a kiss on the cheek] Mwah!
Lucario: [facepalms] MRAH!
Adrien: [surprised] Yeah, thanks Chlo.
Chloé: [notices Pikachu on Adrien's shoulder] And why are you invading MY Adrikins' shoulders?!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Adrien: Oh, Pikachu's gonna be spending the day with me today! It was Ash's idea!
Ash: Yep! It was my gift for him!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Chloé: Well, I'm not letting some filthy rat, invade my Adrikins' personal space [grabs Pikachu by the tail and pulls it off of Adrien's shoulder]!
Pikachu: [uncomfortable] [cheeks sparking] PIKACHU!
Ash: [snatches Pikachu from her] Don't pull on its tail or else it'll-
Pikachu: [Thunderbolt move] PIKACHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
Ash: [electrocuted] GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!
When the electricity ceased, Ash was charred black!
Ash: [meekly] Zap ya! [falls down next to Marinette]
Marinette: Ash? Are you okay?
Ash: I'm good! Trust me, this has happened countless times!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash: [notices the gift] Hey! You still haven't given him his gift!
Marinette: [on the ground, to herself] Dummy.
Alya: [facepalms again]
Chloé: Did you get the gift I sent you?
Adrien: Uh, no.
Chloé: [pretending to be annoyed] What? Oh, those delivery guys. I bet it was too heavy so they had to go back and get another guy to help. Those slackers. [wraps her arms around Adrien's shoulders again] I'll make sure they get it to you by tonight. [gives him another kiss on the cheek] Mwah! [leaves, humming a happy tune to herself]
Nino: [chuckles and playfully punches Adrien's arm]
Ash: [a bit angry] That Chloé! Always thinking she's so high and mighty! [to Adrien] I don't even know why you became friends with a total snob!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Lucario: MRAH!
Adrien: That's just how she is, Ash! We are who we are, you know?
Ash: Yeah, I guess so!
Alya: [to Marinette, still hidden] Get back there! Don't be a pushover, literally!
Marinette: [sounding defeated] Mmm.
That just frustrated Alya!
Sabrina: [to Chloé] What did you get him?
Chloé: [mad] I didn't, you did. [points at Sabrina and sounds really angry] And it better be amazing, and it better not be late!
Sabrina: [cowardly] Mhm. [nods]
Chloé: [furiously] Ugh! [leaves]
Sabrina taps on her tablet quickly while looking scared and following Chloé.
Alya: C'mon, you can do it.
Ash: Yeah! Go for it!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Lucario: MRAH!
Marinette: [looking determined] Hm!
That's when a limousine arrived!
Adrien: [to Nino] Gotta go. Photoshoot. [gets into the limo and leaves]
Ash: Rats, he's gone!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Alya: And he left Pikachu behind!
Ash: [pouts] Thanks to Chloé!
Pikachu: [pouts] PIKA PIKA!
Marinette: [to herself, next to Alya and Ash] Why can't I just mean what I say?
Alya: Uh, say what you mean?
Ash: Is that what you meant to say?
Marinette: Exactly.
Ash: Well, maybe you just need some courage! Maybe some role play! Oh! I know! Pretend I'm Adrien and try to tell me how you feel!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Marinette: Uh, okay... Uh...
Ash: [acting like Adrien] Hi, Marinette! Is there something you wanna tell me?
Marinette: Um...uh...
Alya: Yeah, I don't think that's working!
Ash: Well, there's gotta be something we could do to help pluck up some courage!
Nino: [to himself] Looks like I've got some business to take care of with Adrien's old man.
Later that day, Marinette, Alya, and Ash were outside the Agreste Mansion and standing at the gate, with Marinette trying to open the mailbox.
Marinette: This mailbox won't budge!
Ash: Why don't we just try to the bell? Pikachu, if you will!
Marinette: Ash, are you kidding?! What if Adrien answers the-
Pikachu: [jumps up and rings the bell] PIKA!
[ding dong!]
Marinette panicked and screamed at that! A hidden compartment on the wall opens and a camera appears!
Ash: [eyes sparkling] Wow! That's so cool!
Pikachu: [amazed] PIKA PIKA...
Nathalie: Yes?
Marinette: Um, hi. I'm in Adrien's class and I, uh- [shows the gift to the camera] Heh, did I already say that? Umm... [looks more nervous] Heh... [smiles awkwardly]
Ash: [goes behind her and moves her arms] [in a girl voice] I have a present for Adrien and I was wondering if he was home!
Pikachu: [muffled laughter] PIKACHU...
Alya: [trying to hold her laughter]
Nathalie: Put it in the box.
Then, the mailbox opened!
Marinette: Uh. [puts the gift in the mailbox] Thank you!
Then, the camera retreats and the wall compartment closed!
Marinette: [excited] Oh! I hope he likes it! And you, Ash! Why did you that?!
Ash: I was only trying to help!
Marinette: I appreciate that, but you didn't have to go behind, move my arms and make your voice sound like a girl!
Ash: [blushes in embarrassment] You're right! Now that you think about it, I kinda embarrassed myself!
Marinette: Well... I guess it doesn't always hurt for a guy to show his feminine side!
Ash: [blushes in embarrassment] [shakes his head] Nah uh! No way! That's way too humiliating for me!
Marinette: [with a sinister and cheeky grin on her face] [in her mind] Here's where I'll get back at Ashy Boy! I'll get to play dress-up with our boy!
Ash: [suspicious] Marinette, what's with that look?!
Marinette: Oh nothing! Just wondering what Adrien will think of his gift!
Alya: You signed the note, right?
Marinette made a surprised face, meaning she forgot!
Ash: Oh, Marinette! You forgot to sign it!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Alya: Ah, girl, girl, girl.
Marinette: [groans]
In the Agreste Mansion, Nathalie enters her office with Marinette's gift in her hands and puts it on her desk while sitting down.
Gabriel: [from the intercom] Who was that, Nathalie?
Nathalie: A friend of Adrien's. She was delivering a gift for his birthday.
Gabriel: Did you remember to buy him a present from me?
That made her concerned!
Nathalie: [surprised] Uh-uh, but you didn't ask me to.
Gabriel: [angrily] Of course I did!
Nathalie: Yes, Mr. Agreste. I-I'll take care of it.
Gabriel: Good. [disconnects]
Nathalie: [covers her mouth in fear] Uh. [looks despaired, then her face lights up and she takes Marinette's gift] Ah.
Then, the doorbell rang!
Nathalie: [composes herself] Yes?
Nino: [from the camera outside] Uh, hi.
Back at Marinette's house, Ash was in the living room trying to think of World Coronation strategies for the Ultra Class!
Ash: Hmmm...
Pikachu: PIKA...
Lucario: MRAH...
Ash: Now, how am I gonna be able to get past Bea's head-on attacks and still be able to beat her?
Pikachu: PIKA...
Lucario: MRAH...
Then, Marinette came in!
Marinette: Hey, Ash! Whatcha doin'?
Ash: Oh! Hey, Marinette! I'm just trying to think of strategies for the Ultra Class!
Marinette: What kind of strategies?
Ash: They're basically to beat the head-on attacks from the Stow-on-Side Gym Leader of the Galar Region, Bea! She specializes in Fighting-types!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Lucario: MRAH!
Marinette: Oh! She sounds tough!
Ash: Trust me! She is!
Marinette: Do you think I can help? I may not know much about you and your dimension, but I'm willing to try!
Ash: [smiles] Sure! I could use some help!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Marinette: Okay! But as that saying goes, "I help you and you help me!" In other words, I'll need your help later on in my room!
Ash: Okay!
Marinette: [sits down next to Ash] Now, let's see what you got so far!
Meanwhile, at the Agreste mansion, Nino and Nathalie are standing in the foyer, waiting for Mr. Agreste.
Nathalie: He'll be here in a minute.
Gabriel: [as he enters] Adrien's not home yet.
Nino: Uh, I was coming to see you, du-sir.
Gabriel: Me?
Nino: Yeah, that right. Look, I know you don't want Adrien to have a party, but it's his birthday, dude-I mean, sir. It's all he wants.
Gabriel: No. [raises his palm] That's final.
Nino: That's messed up.
That's when Adrien entered!
Nino: He never screws up in class, he always does whatever you tell him: photoshoots, fencing, Chinese, piano-
Adrien: Nino? You're here.
Nino: [to Adrien] Anything for my best bud. [to Mr. Agreste] Show some awesomeness, du-I mean, sir, please.
Mr. Agreste looked at him angrily!
Adrien: Forget it, Nino. Really, it's fine.
Gabriel: Listen, young man. I decide what's best for my son. In fact, I've just decided that you're a bad influence and you're not welcome in my house ever again. Leave now!
Adrien: Father, he was just trying to do something cool for me. [as his father leaves]
Nathalie: [steps in front of them] Goodbye.
Nino starts to leave, but Adrien catches him outside the front doors.
Adrien: Nino, wait! I'm sorry. My father-he's pretty stubborn. It's just best to stay out of his way.
Nino became furious to learn that Adrien's father is colder!
Nino: It's not fair, Adrien. Harsh, uncool. [crosses his arms and leaves, leaving Adrien looking sad]
Adrien: Thanks anyway, Nino.
But Nino was too upset to listen! Later on, he was in the park, sitting on a bench, looking angry. He starts blowing bubbles with his bubble wand.
Kid: But, Daddy, please! [as his father takes him by the hand]
Kid's Father: No, it's not playtime. You've got your chores to do. [as his son complains]
Nino: [angrily] Ugh. Adults ruin everything all the time.
At Hawk Moth's lair...
Hawk Moth: Desperate to help his friend but feeling powerless. How frustrating! It won't be long before frustration turns to anger!
Then, a butterfly landed on his hand and he turned it into an akuma!
Hawk Moth: Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize him.
And the akuma flew off into the city! Not too far away...
Gengar: [happily floating back to the bakery with a crate full of apples] [singing] GENGAR GENGAR GEN GEN GENGAR!
That's when it noticed the little akuma fly by it!
Gengar: GENGAR?!
It looked down and saw it was heading for Nino as the akuma went into his bubble wand!
Hawk Moth: [speaks from his lair] Hawk Moth is my name and Bubbler is now yours. I will help you with these horrid adults and all you have to do in return is help me get something from Ladybug and Cat Noir.
Nino: Yes, Hawk Moth.
Then, he started to transform, which didn't go unnoticed by Gengar!
Gengar: [concerned] GENGAR!
But Gengar knew just what to do! It flew off to find Ash and Marinette!
Bubbler: [jumps onto a rooftop] No more adults means total freedom! This is SOOO sweet! Off the hook! [takes out his bubble sword and flies over Paris, leaving a trail of purple bubbles behind him]
The bubbles were capturing all of the adults in the city!
Woman: Help!
Man: Look out!
Children: [crying]
Hawk Moth: [from his lair] Perfect.
At the bakery...
Gengar: [coming in with the apples] [worried] GENGAR! [sets the apples down] GEN!
Tom: Thank you, Gen...[as it flew up through the ceiling] gar? Hmmm. I wonder what got it so worried?
With Ash and Marinette, they were having lunch!
Marinette: [to herself] Adrien must have gotten his gift by now. [as her mom opens the window]
Sabine: What's that you said?
Marinette: [looks surprised] Um, I can't wait to get back to school this afternoon, hehe.
Ash: [shakes his head in amusement]
Then...
Gengar: [coming through the floor] GENGAR! [looks to find Ash]
Ash: Oh! Hey, Gengar! I thought you were getting the apples for Mr. Dupain?
Gengar: [saying "I did, but I saw Nino get akumatized" while making an impression of Nino] GENGAR GEN GEN GEN GENGAR GENGAR GEN!
Ash: Say what?!
Suddenly, a bubble came in and capture Sabine, as she began to float away!
Ash: Mrs. Cheng!
Pikachu: [worried] PIKACHU!
Marinette: Mom! MOM! [sees her father also in a bubble] Dad? Dad!
All the adults were floating away!
Tikki: Your parents! Hawk Moth must've released another akuma.
Ash: And like Gengar said, Nino is the akuma's victim! Marinette, it's hero time! [to himself while looking at the fourth wall] I've always wanted to say that!
[Transformation Sequence]
Marinette: Tikki, spots on! [looks unhappy]
Then, Marinette transformed into Ladybug!
Ash: It's time I use another plate!
Ash went to his bag and grabbed the Sky Plate!
Ash: Sky Plate, activate! [places the Sky Plate on his chest]
His clothes gained a sky-blue color scheme, and wings appeared on his back!
Ash: Wow! Nice!
Pikachu: [amazed] PIKA PIKA!
Gengar: [amazed] GENGAR!
Ladybug: [amazed] Wicked!
Ash: Now, come on! Time to go go to the rescue! [takes flight]
Ladybug: [pulls Ash back down with her yo-yo]
Ash: WAH! [lands on his tookus] OOF! Hey, Ladybug! What gives?!
Ladybug: If you fly out there now, you'll risk getting yourself captured out in the open! Come on! [heads out the door]
Ash: Alright alright! I'm coming! [follows her]
Bubbler: And now, party time!
[kids crying]
Ladybug and Ash run out of the bakery. Purple bubbles appear in the sky, broadcasting a message from the Bubbler!
Ash: That must be Nino!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Gengar: GEN!
Bubbler: Today is your lucky day, little dudes. The adults have taken the day off, so make the most of it. No chores, no homework, no more nagging, just fun, fun, fun, fun. This is the Bubbler's gift to you.
Ladybug: [to the kids] Don't worry, your parents will come back. We'll see to it.
Ash: Yeah! In the meantime, you guys take cover somewhere! Ladybug and the boy with many powers are on the job!
Ladybug: [to the teenager] You take care of them in the meantime.
Ash: Yeah! [kneels down] Hop on, Ladybug! Let's fly [as Ladybug jumps on]! Up, up, and away [takes flight]!
Kids: [cheering] Yay! Go, Ladybug and Bird Man!
Ash: Bird Man?
Pikachu: PIKA?
At the Agreste Mansion, Adrien was eating lunch alone in the mansion's dining room.
Adrien: [sarcastic] Wow. That was a birthday lunch break to remember. Yay! [walks into the foyer and stops] Nathalie? Father? [shrugs sadly]
When he went outside...
[cheering]
All his classmates were outside with a huge party set up!
Teenagers: Yay! Woo! Happy birthday!
Bubbler: [standing on top of a bubble] Hey, hey, hey, birthday boy. Guess what? Daddy's gone. While the cat's away, the mice will play.
Adrien looked at the Bubbler with a strange expression, but then he realized who it was!
Adrien: Nino?!
Bubbler: The Bubbler's brought all yo homies together for one single-sole purpose, to ce-le-brate!
Teenagers: YEAH!
The Bubbler then jumps down a DJ booth!
Bubbler: Let's get this party started!
Then, music started to kick in as everyone started to dance! Adrien was surprised by this and ran back into the house!
Bubbler: Come on, everybody, I brought you here to party!
But really, everyone wasn't looking so happy at all!
Bubbler: So dance or you'll join the adults up in the sky! Hahahahahahahaha! [as Fireworks were shot]
Hawk Moth: [from his lair] It won't be long before Ladybug and Cat Noir show up to meet their doom! Mwahahahahahahaha!
["Who's That Pokémon?" time]
[as a magnifying glass shows a crab claw with Pikachu standing with a PokéBall]
Ash: Who's that Pokémon?
[The Pokémon reveals to be Corphish]
Pikachu: PIKA?
Corphish: CORPHISH COR!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!

With Adrien...
Plagg: What's your problem? Relax! You're getting the party you've always wanted.
Adrien: But Nino's been akumatized! I've gotta help him!
Plagg: You may never get this chance again! C'mon, let's have a little fun while your father's away! Then we'll save Nino, trap his akuma, and all will be good.
Adrien gave this some thought!
Adrien: Okay, you're right. This might be the first day in my life that I actually get to do what I want for once.
Meanwhile, on the rooftops, Ladybug and Ash are running and flying towards the fireworks!
Ladybug: [to herself] It's you, me, and Ash, Bubbler.
Ash: Let's do this!
Back at the mansion, everyone is dancing and Adrien seemed to be enjoying himself!
Adrien: Yeah! [walks over to a sad-looking Rose] Hey, nice party, I guess, since it's my first one.
Rose smiles and gives him two thumbs up, but then she kept dancing while looking sad. Adrien turns around and sees everyone dancing but with grim expressions. That's when Chloé motioned Sabrina to go to the DJ booth.
Sabrina: [frightened] I'm requesting a slow dance.
Bubbler: It's a bit early for that, isn't it?
Chloé: Ugh. [shoves Sabrina down and puts on an innocent face] It's for Adrien. His first slow dance. Mm? [makes a sweet face]
Bubbler: OH! You know it, girl.
Then, he put a record in for slow music! People began to pair up and keep dancing while looking sad. Juleka didn't seem to be enjoying herself very much!
Juleka: [in her head] I wish this was me and Ash!
Kim: [dancing with Juleka] You good, Juleka?
Juleka: [quietly] Yeah! I'm good!
Adrien: [to Chloé] Is it me, or does everyone seem a bit weird?
Chloé: Forget about them, let's go dance! C'mon!
Then, Ash and Ladybug arrived! They landed on the balcony, as the Bubbler was going to change a record and Ladybug and Ash see Chloé and Adrien dancing. Chloé tries to kiss him, but Adrien looks uncomfortable. Ladybug was aghast by this!
Ladybug: There is no way this is happening.
Ash: Now, Ladybug! Don't let jealousy get the best of you!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!
Ladybug: Jealous? I'm not jealous!
Ash: Never mind! I think I know exactly what we need, if you know what I mean?
Ladybug: I believe I do! [throws her yo-yo into the air] Lucky Charm!
And the Lucky Charm was a record!
Ladybug: A record?
Ash: What're ya gonna do with that?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Then, Ladybug began observing her surroundings! Her thinking vision shows her the empty record spot in the DJ mixer, the volume modifier and a ledge on the building across the street. Ladybug chuckles, then throws the record. It hits the ledge, bounces over to the DJ booth, hits the volume all the way up, lands on the empty spot and begins to play dance music again. Everyone breaks their pairs and keeps dancing. Adrien moves away from Chloé. The Bubbler realizes that the music changed.
Bubbler: Dude! Who just hijacked my mix?
Ladybug: Yours truly.
Ash: And me too!
Then, Ladybug's earrings started beeping!
Ash: Ladybug! Your earrings!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ladybug: Better bug out quick before I change back to normal. [as she and Ash jump off of the balcony to the outside of Agreste Mansion] Spots off.
Then, she transformed back into Marinette and Tikki was exhausted!
Ash: [gasps] [catches Tikki] Tikki! Are you okay?
Tikki: I'm fine! Just hungry! [to Marinette] Marinette!
Marinette: [as Ash gives her Tikki] It was an emergency.
Tikki: Yeah, if by emergency, you mean jealousy. You know what happens once you use your Lucky Charm. You only have minutes before-–
Marinette: I turn back, I know. But I figured, the Bubbler, he's not going anywhere, we have time to get you some food to get your energy back up. Then, we'll get right back out there, I promise.
Ash: I know! [pulls out a container of Pokémon food and pulls out one of the pellets] Here, Tikki! Try one of these!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Tikki: [takes the pellet, sniffs it and takes a bite out of it]
Ash: How is it?
Tikki: Mmm. It's different! But I like it!
Ash: I'm glad! We'll find something for you at the buffet table just in case!
Tikki: [floats up to him and nuzzles against his cheek] You're the best, Ash!
Ash: [giggles] [pours some food out and gives it to Pikachu and Gengar] Here, you guys! You two will need your energy as well!
Pikachu: [happy] PIKA!
Gengar: [happy] GENGAR!
And they both ate the Pokémon food! Marinette puts Tikki in her purse, she and Ash enter the party and start looking around. They head to the food table, grab some cookies, and Marinette puts them in her purse for Tikki.
Ash: And one for me! [eats the cookie]
Pikachu: [eats a cookie] PIKACHU!
Marinette: Oh, Ash! [giggles]
Gengar: [eats an entire cake] GENGAR!
Ash: Gengar!
Marinette: You ate the entire thing!
Gengar: [laughing] GENGAR!
Marinette: I've got to find a place where I can transform, fast.
Ash: But where?
Alya: Where have you been, girl? I was so scared something had happened to you and Ash.
Marinette: Me too! [as they hug]
Ash: But we're a-okay!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Gengar: GEN GENGAR!
Ash: We're just glad you're okay too, Alya!
Alya: Thanks, Ashy Boy! [to Marinette] I'm sure Ladybug and Cat Noir will show up in a minute to save us all. They never failed us. [wraps an arm around Ash] And neither have you, Ashy Boy!
Ash: [chuckles] That's because I don't give up until the very end!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Alya: Got that right! [to Marinette] Meanwhile, come with me, I've got something for you.
Marinette: Uh, there's something I've got to do first.
Alya: It's about Adrien.
Ash: And that's your trigger word!
Marinette: [with a defeated look] Okay.
Tikki: [urgent] Marinette, the Bubbler.
Marinette: Okay, okay, in a sec.
Ash: You go on ahead! I'll keep an eye on Bubbler!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Marinette: Okay! But be careful!
Ash: Don't worry! We will!
And with that, they left!
Ash: I wonder what I should do to buy a bit of time?
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Ash: Hmmm. Oh! I know! We'll get Bubbler to do a bubble show! And have him do impossible bubble tricks! [goes over to the DJ booth but bumps into Juleka]
Juleka: Oh!
Ash: Oh! Sorry about that! [notices who it is] Oh! Hey, Juleka!
Juleka: [blushes] H-Hey!
Ash: So, I guess you got dragged into the party too, huh?
Juleka: [nods]
Ash: Well, don't worry, [whispers] with my help, Ladybug and Cat Noir will save the day! But for now, I need your help to buy us some time! [takes her wrist] Come with me!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Juleka: Oh!
Ash and Juleka then went over to the DJ booth!
Ash: Pardon us, Mr. Bubbler! But could we request an activity for this party?
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Bubbler: [notices who it is] Ha ha! Ash, my man! Glad you could make it!
Ash: Yes! Anyway, could I request an activity for the party that involves your specialty?
Bubbler: Name it and you got it!
Ash: I wanna see some kind of tricks you can do with those bubbles of yours and see if you can make any bubble shape!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Bubbler: Like what?
Ash: Some daredevil tricks and the most impossible shapes you could do! And I betcha ya can't do it!
Bubbler: Oh yeah? Well then, challenge accepted!
Then he took out his bubble wand!
Then, he started doing some daredevil tricks and made bubble shapes in the process!
Ash: [in his head] All according to plan!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Juleka: Awesome.
Meanwhile, Alya and Marinette had snuck into the mansion, and then they saw Marinette's gift on Nathalie's desk!
Alya: Look! Now you can sign your gift.
Marinette: [gasps] Ah, yes!
Ash was still watching Bubbler do his daredevil tricks while making bubble shapes!
Ash: [in his head] [concerned] Where are Ladybug and Cat Noir already?!
Bubbler: And that's all, folks! Now back to dancing! Or else!
Ash: [gulps] Uh, I actually need to use the restroom real fast, but I promise to come back out afterwards! [to Adrien] Adrien, where's your restroom?
Adrien: Upstairs and to your right!
Ash: Thank you! [leaves in a hurry]
Then, Ash went into the mansion and shut the door!
Ash: Time to add some flare to my superly grand entrance! [takes out the Flame Plate] Flame Plate, activate! [places the Flame Plate on his chest]
Then, Ash's clothes gained a red and orange color scheme, and he had flame decals and a fire symbol appeared on his hat!
Ash: Now, to find Marinette!
Back outside, everyone was being forced to party some more! The Bubbler saw Ivan was not dancing and marched over to him!
Bubbler: Hey, you. Why aren't you having fun?
Ivan: None of your business.
Bubbler: Then I'm going to make it my business. [chuckles and takes out his bubble sword]
Back in the office, Marinette had just about finished signing the note on Adrien's present!
Marinette: "Love, Marinette". There. [sticks the note to the present and kisses it]
Tikki: Right, we're good. Spots on, Marinette.
Marinette: I can't do it now, Alya's here.
Alya: What'd you say?
Marinette: Go ahead! I'll meet you in the yard.
Alya leaves and Marinette lets out a sigh of relief. But then she saw Ivan floating away in a bubble!
Marinette: No! You were right, Tikki, I never should've waited this long.
Ash: Marinette, there you are!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Marinette: Ash! Ivan's floating away!
Ash: Oh no, I'm too late!
Pikachu: [worried] PIKACHU!
Marinette: What'll we do?!
Ash: We face Bubbler head-on! But we'll make our entrance [pulls out a record of his own] in style!
Back outside, Adrien was on top of the DJ booth, holding a mike!
Adrien: Hey, Paris, how you doing?
At first there meek cheering, but with a threatening glare from Bubbler there was forced excited cheering! Then, Ladybug and Ash appeared on the roof!
Adrien: Ladybug?
Juleka: Ash?
[record plays an instrumental of the Team Rocket motto]
Ash: Prepare for trouble!
Ladybug: And make it double!
Ash: To protect Paris from devastation!
Ladybug: To unite all Parisians within our nation!
Ash: To penetrate the evildoers between truth, justice and love!
Ladybug: To beat all the bad guys from the stars above!
Ash: Ash!
Ladybug: And Ladybug!
Ash: Heroes of Justice save the world at the speed of light!
Ladybug: Surrender now, or you're in for a fight!
Pikachu: [on cue] PIKA PIKA!
[End of motto]
Juleka: Huh?
Bubbler: [huffs a snicker] [bursts into hysterical laughter]
Ash: And why are you laughing?! Even a hero needs an entrance in style!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash: Anyways, this party is over!
Bubbler: Why you gotta be like that?
Ladybug: You made all the adults disappear, that's why! And now you're imprisoning anyone who isn't having fun.
Ash: Yeah! Has it ever occurred to you that not everyone wants to dance?! They just wanna relax, have a bite of food, maybe watch Adrien open his presents! And besides, spending time at a party with your family is just as good as spending time with your friends!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!
Gengar: [appearing beside Ash] [agreeing] GENGAR!
Bubbler: You will not bust up my party!
Bubbler then started firing bubbles from his wand!
Ash: Go, Gengar! Use Night Shade!
Gengar: [Night Shade move] GENGAR!
That popped the bubbles making sparkles!
Juleka was in awe as a blush started to form on her face about Ash!
Ash: [smirks] Hm. Genius wins! How d'ya like that, bubble brain?!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Bubbler: [growls angrily]
He then started to fire more bubbles, but Ladybug blocked them and attacked! Meanwhile, Adrien had snuck away into his room.
Adrien: [as Plagg was dancing] I think I've been a complete idiot.
[Transformation Sequence]
Adrien: Plagg, claws out!
Plagg got sucked into the ring and Adrien transformed into Cat Noir!
Ash: Pikachu, Electroweb!
Pikachu: [Electroweb move] PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA... CHU-PIKA!
That trapped the Bubbler!
Bubbler: Hey!
Ash: Heh. The catch of the day! One akumatized baddie!
Then, he used his bubble sword to cut free!
Ash: Oh, come on!
Ladybug threw her yo-yo at one of the Bubbler's bubbles, but it just bounced right back to her! That's when Cat Noir entered and hit the yo-yo away with his staff!
Cat Noir: Looks like I made it just in time.
Ladybug: I had it under control, [as her yo-yo falls on Cat Noir's head, but thanks.
Ash: Regardless, we're glad you could join the party! You even missed mine and Ladybug's stylish entrance!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Cat Noir: Stylish entrance?
Ladybug: We'll explain later!
Hawk Moth: [from his lair; to The Bubbler] Get the Miraculouses. I want those powers, NOW!
Then, Bubbler went on the attack! He then launched a stream of small red bubbles at Ash, Ladybug and Cat Noir!
Ash: Gengar, Night Shade!
Gengar: [Night Shade move] GENGAR!
The attack popped all of the bubbles creating sparkles!
Juleka: [smiles] Awesome.
Ash: Genius two, Bubbler zero!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Gengar: GENGAR!
Cat Noir: You are full of surprises, aren't you?
Ash: You ain't seen the half of it!
The Bubbler launched more red bubbles, but Ladybug and Cat Noir deflected them with their yo-yo and staff, with Ash shooting fire!
Bubbler: [chuckles] [snaps his fingers]
Then, the bubbles started surrounding them!
Ash: Hey! What goes on here?
Pikachu: [trying to shake the bubbles off] PIKACHU!
Then, they were trapped in a green bubble!
Ash: Oh no! We're trapped!
Pikachu: [trying to break free] CHU...PIKA! PIKA!
Gengar: [trying to break free] GEN! GAR! GENGAR!
Ash: Let us outta here, bubble boy!
Bubbler: Not happening, hot shot! Give me your Miraculouses before you run out of air.
Ladybug: Dream on, Bubbler.
Ash: They'll never give you their Miraculouses!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Bubbler: Total party poopers, just like adults.
Ladybug: Kids need adults!
Ash: Yeah! Without grownups, no one can have home-cooked meals or fresh clean laundry or to greet you when you come home! And grownups help keep you safe!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Ladybug: He's right and you know it!
Bubbler: False! Kids need freedom, fun, let loose and live it up. Adults are controlling and bossy.
Ladybug: But adults keep children safe and protected. They care for their kids, they love them!
Ash: Yeah! What she said!
Cat Noir: [talking to himself] Most adults do anyhow.
Ash: You can fight this, Bubbler! Grownups aren't that bad! Trust me! Don't let Hawk Moth control you! We can help you go back to your old self!
Cat Noir: He's right! You must bring the adults back!
Bubbler: Nope, never. Know what, since you care so much about these adults, why don't you go float with them for a while?
Ash: Say what?!
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Then, Bubbler launched their bubble into the air!
Ash: [as Ladybug and Cat Noir scream as they go up] Ah-hoo-hoo-hoo-hooey!
Pikachu: [screams] PIKA!
Gengar: [screams] GENGAR!
Juleka: Ash, no!
Everyone: [gasps]
Hawk Moth: [from his lair; to The Bubbler] What do you think you're doing Bubbler?! You're supposed to seize their Miraculouses!
Meanwhile, our heroes were high up in the air inside the bubble, as they were trying to burst it!
Ladybug: Use your Cataclysm!
Cat Noir: Couldn't you have said that five hundred feet ago?
Ladybug: We can't stay stuck in this bubble together forever.
Cat Noir smirked at that while Ladybug facepalmed!
Ash: [irritated] Will you just use it already?!
Pikachu: [irritated] PIKA PIKA!
Cat Noir: Okay! Fine! Cataclysm!
When he touched the bubble, it popped!
Ash: Alright! We're free!
Ladybug: Yeah! But...
Ash: Huh? [feels beneath him] [as he, Ladybug and Cat Noir looked at the fourth wall] Uh oh!
Then, they began to fall!
Ash: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Ladybug: Should we see if you land on your feet this time?
Cat Noir: No, thanks!
Ash: [as he tosses a PokéBall] Quick, Dragonite! Help us!
Dragonite: [appearing] BRWAR!
Then, Dragonite flew down and the three heroes landed on its back!
Ash: Phew! That was close!
Pikachu: [relieved] PIKA PIKA!
Cat Noir: Good thing cats aren't afraid of heights. [to Ash] Good thinking, buddy!
Ash: Thanks! It sure beats going into space!
Ladybug: Right! [to Dragonite] And thank you too, [rubs Dragonite on the head] Dragonite!
Dragonite: [happy] BRWAR!
Ladybug: We've got to get to his bubble sword, that's got to be where the akuma is.
Ash: My thoughts exactly, Ladybug!
Pikachu: [hears Cat Noir's ring alert sound] PIKA? [points] PIKA! PIKACHU!
Ash: Oh no! Not much time before you transform back, Cat Noir! We better make tracks and get back to the party! And fast before Bubbler decides to send everyone sky high!
Cat Noir: Better hurry!
Back at the Agreste Mansion, the Bubbler was trying to get the party going again.
Bubbler: Where is everybody? Get out here and party!
Surprisingly, Juleka was able to muster up some courage and stand up!
Juleka: Forget it, Bubbler. I'm done partying.
Bubbler: Then, it's sky high for you!
Juleka: I don't care. If it means being with Ash, then fine.
Bubbler: Suit yourself!
Ladybug: Sorry to burst your bubble.
Alya: [from the crowd] Ladybug! [as she and the teens cheer]
Ladybug: No one wants to party with you anymore, Bubbler.
Ash: Yeah! They want this party to end!
Bubbler: What's wrong with all you guys!? Why you gotta be such haters!?
Ash: Well, haters are gonna hate!
But then, the Bubbler took out his bubble sword and captured the teens in bubbles!
Ladybug, Cat Noir and Ash: NOOO!
Pikachu: [worried] PIKACHU!
Gengar: [worried] GENGAR!
The captured teens started to float away!
Bubbler: Outer space is the next stop for your precious peeps, and they're never coming back!
Juleka: Ash, HELP ME!
Ash: Hold on, Juleka! I'm coming! Go, Gengar! Save Juleka!
Gengar: [floats into action] GENGAR!
Bubblet: Oh no you don't! [fires red bubbles]
Ash: Look out, Gengar! Behind you!
Gengar: [turns around] GEN! [Night Shade move] GENGAR!
That turned the bubbles into sparkles!
Bubbler: [growls angrily] Try to Night Shade this!
He launched a bubble at Gengar and it was trapped!
Gengar: GEN?! [tries to break free] GEN...GAR...GENGAR!
Ash: No, Gengar!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash: Try to break out of there by freezing it with Ice Punch!
Gengar: [Ice Punch move] GEN...GAR!
That managed to freeze the bubble making it easy for Gengar to bust out!
Gengar: [free] GENGAR!
Ash: Great job, Gengar! Now, go help Juleka and the others!
Gengar: [grins and salutes] GENGAR!
Meanwhile, the Bubbler was jumping from roof to roof as Ladybug, Cat Noir and Ash pursued him. The Bubbler flies to the Eiffel Tower, as Ladybug, Cat Noir and Ash start climbing it while he throws explosive bubbles at them.
Ash: You won't get away from us this time, Bubbler!
Pikachu: [cheeks sparking wildly] PIKACHU!
Soon, they were nearing the top! Then, the Bubbler launched more explosive bubbles!
Ash: Pikachu, Thunderbolt!
Pikachu: [jumps up] PIKA! [Thunderbolt move] PIKA...CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
That managed to counter the bubbles!
Bubbler: [growls] Why do you gotta bring that rat into this fight?!
Ash: It's not a rat! Ladybug, time for some good luck!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Cat Noir: [as his ring beeps] I'm gonna switch back soon! Hurry!
Ladybug: [throws her yo-yo into the air] Lucky Charm!
And the lucky charm was a giant wrench!
Ash: That is one big wrench!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Cat Noir: Your... plumbing skill is gonna help us out?
Ladybug just shrugged at that, but then the Bubbler began to throw more explosive bubbles at Cat Noir! Cat Noir dodged them of course!
Then, he leaped up the tower further!
Cat Noir: Could use a little work! Is that all you got?
Ash: [to Ladybug] Alright, Ladybug! What's your plan?
Then, she began to observe her surroundings! Her thinking vision shows her a vent, a vent pipe, the screw connecting them, and the wrench.
Ladybug: Got it!
Ash: Okay!
Ladybug: Ash, help Cat Noir distract Bubbler!
Ash: [salutes] Aye aye, Ladybug!
Ladybug ran towards the pipe while Cat Noir was still dodging bubbles.
Ash: Hey, Bubbler! I got a question for you!
Bubbler: What?!
Ash: Which is stronger? Bubbles or fireballs?
Bubbler: I don't know!
Ash: Easy! Fireballs! [shoots fireballs at him]
Bubbler: Whoa! [hit] UGH! Wrong! Bubbles beat fireballs! [launches bubbles at him]
Ash: [counters with his fireballs]
Meanwhile, Ladybug was loosening the screw and the pipe came off, as it went up to where Cat Noir is standing.
Ladybug: Cat Noir, cover me!
Then, he leapt down and grabbed the pipe!
Cat Noir: Go on!
The Bubbler threw more bubbles at him, but the air flowing from the pipe deflected them!
Ash: Now, Pikachu! Use Iron Tail!
Pikachu: [Iron Tail move] CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...PIKA!
The attack managed to knock the bubble sword out of the Bubbler's hand!
Bubbler: No!
Ash: Ladybug, now's your chance! Snatch it with your yo-yo!
Ladybug: On it!
She threw her yo-yo and snatched the sword, bringing it to her. She then broke the sword in half with her knees, as the akuma flew out!
Ladybug: Get out of there, you nasty bug. [opens her yo-yo] No more evil-doing for you, little akuma.
Then, she swung her yo-yo around!
Ladybug: Time to de-evilize!
With one fell swing, she caught the akuma!
Ladybug: Gotcha!
Then, she released it!
Ladybug: Bye bye, little butterfly! [tosses up her Lucky Charm] Miraculous Ladybug!
The Miraculous cleansing light returned every adult to safety. The Bubbler fell on his knees, and a black smoke covered him, and he turned back into Nino.
Nino: Who? Dude.
Ladybug, Cat Noir and Ash: [fist bump] Pound it!
Pikachu: [joining in] PIKA!
Back at Hawk Moth's lair...
Hawk Moth: You can't run forever Ladybug and when I catch you, I will crush you! I will DESTROY ALL THREE OF YOU!
Then, the window closed in his lair! Later, at the Agreste Mansion, Nathalie was on her computer when...
Gabriel: [on the intercom] Nathalie? Did my son like his gift?
Nathalie: Actually, I was going to check right away sir.
Gabriel: Good. [disconnects]
That made her worry! Then, she saw Marinette's gift and threw away the note! With Adrien, he was in the dining room, eating dinner, but that's when Nathalie came in with his father's "gift"!
Nathalie: [gives him his gift] A birthday present, from your father.
Adrien: Thank you. I mean, please say thank you to my father for me.
Nathalie: [nods]
Adrien looked happily at the gift! Later at Marinette's house...
Ash: Hmm, [smiles] this looks like an awesome strategy to battle Bea next time we see her!
Pikachu: [smiles] PIKACHU!
Lucario: MRAH MRAH!
Then, Marinette came in with Alya and the other girls!
Ash: Oh! Hey, girls!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Marinette: Hey, Ash! Remember that little favor I asked for you to help me with?
Ash: Yeah! I remember! What is it anyway?
Marinette: Well, I was working on a new dress and I need someone to try it on! And I was thinking that someone should be... [as she and her friends pull out a dress, a wig, a pair of heels, and makeup] you!
Ash: Me?! I already told you, dressing as a girl is too humiliating!
Marinette: [as she and the girls move in closer] Now, come on, Ash! [Ash: No no no no no no no no no no no no no no!] Nothing to be afraid of! [Ash: No dressing me as a girl!] [as Ash runs out the door] Get 'im!
Pikachu: [asking Lucario if they should help] PIKA?
Lucario: [shakes his head] MRAH!
Ash: [running] There is no way I'm putting that thing on!
Marinette: [as they chase after him] Come on, Ash! No need to be shy!
Ash: [panting] [runs outside and barricades the door with a stick] Phew! That'll hold them for awhile! [runs away] Now, where can I hide! [sees the school] Huh? Of course! The school! No one will find me there! [runs into the school and heads to the locker room] I'll hide in one of these empty lockers! [goes into one and closes the door] Phew! They'll never find me here!
Then, he heard the girls!
Alix: I thought I saw him come this way?
Ash: [in his head] GUH! They found me!
Rose: I don't see him anywhere!
Mylène: Maybe he's gone somewhere else!
Alya: I bet he's at the Eiffel Tower! Let's go look!
And the girls left!
Ash: Phew! That was close!
But then...
Marinette: [opens the door] Gotcha!
Ash: [startled] WAH!
Marinette: We gotcha cornered!
Ash: [mumbles] Not for long! [speaks] Look out! There's an akuma behind you girls!
Rose: EEK!
The girls turned and Ash used this opportunity to escape!
Ash: [runs away]
Marinette: [realizing] Wait a minute! There's no aku...[notices Ash is gone] ma? He tricked us!
Alya: Ash, you stinker!
Ash was running as fast as he could to find a new hiding place!
Ash: Where am I gonna hide?!
Then, Ash noticed the top of the Eiffel Tower!
Ash: The Eiffel Tower! Of course!
Then, he went to take the elevator! Soon, he arrived at the top!
Ash: They'll never find me up here!
But then…
Marinette: That's what you think!
Ash: Huh?!
He then noticed Marinette and the other girls riding on Dragonite's back!
Ash: Hey! How did you girls get Dragonite?!
Marinette: You left your PokéBalls behind at my place!
Ash: [facepalms] [groans]
Alya: There's no where to run now!
Ash: Yes there is! And that's downwards! [runs away]
But when he got to the bottom…
Ash: Home free! [notices in front of him] [as he skids to a stop] Yikes! [runs the other way]
But then, he was caught in Dragonite's hugging grasp!
Dragonite: [hugging Ash] BRWAR!
Ash: [scared] Oh no! Caught by my own Pokémon!
Marinette: Great work, Dragonite! [as she and the other girls climb aboard] Now, back to my house! We're gonna have some fun!
Ash: [gulps]
Soon, the girls had fitted Ash into the dress and now, they were applying makeup!
Ash: Come on, girls! Is this really necessary?
Marinette: You're the one that brought up showing your feminine side! I wanna see what you look like as a girl!
Ash: [groans] I don't!
Rose: [adds the wig] And there!
Alix: [trying to hold in her laughter] Perfect!
Ash: [groans]
Then, Alya started taking pictures!
Ash: Alya, what do you think you're doing?!
Alya: I'm treasuring this moment with a few photos, "Ashley"!
Alix: [laughs]
Ash: [growls angrily]
Juleka: [uncomfortable] Hmm…
Rose: What's wrong, Juleka?
Juleka: I don't know, don't you think we're taking this too far?
Alix: What're ya talking about? Marinette said Ash brought up the whole boy showing his feminine side when he made his voice sound like a girl!
Ash: [humiliated] And it's absolutely humiliating!
Alya: Relax! The photos won't be posted! This is our little secret!
Ash: You promise?
Alya: [holding up her pinkie] Pinkie promise!
Ash: [locks his pinkie with hers] Awesome! Can I change back now? These shoes are killing me!
Juleka: If you want, I can help?
Ash: Sure! That'd be awesome, Juleka! Thanks!
Juleka smiled at this!
One change of clothes later...
Ash: [sighs in relief] That's better!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Marinette: That was honestly the first time I got to see your female counterpart!
Ash: And hopefully it'll be the last time too!
Alya: Why are you against dressing like a girl anyway? And don't give us the whole 'because it's too humiliating' ordeal!
Ash: Well, you see, my first time wasn't my own doing! And it was so I could go and have a gym battle with one of the Kanto Gym Leaders! Cause when I first went there, they wouldn't let me in all because of some critic I gave towards perfume!
Pikachu: [remembers] PIKA! [nods its head in agreement] PIKACHU!
Alya: Who's idea was it to dress you up as a girl?
Ash wasn't too sure if he should tell them!
Marinette: Come on, Ash! You can tell us! We won't judge! That's what friends are for!
Rose: Yeah!
Alix: Got that right!
Ash smiled at this and was ready!
Ash: [inhales and sighs] Okay! See, there's this trio of bad guys, named Jessie, James and Meowth, who are from an evil organization known as Team Rocket and they basically 'helped me' get into the Celadon City Gym by dressing me up as a girl!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
The girls just looked at Ash with weird eyes!
Alix: Uh...
Ash: I know! Go ahead! Laugh at me, if you wish to!
Mylène: Ash, we're not gonna laugh at you!
Ash: Huh? You're not?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Marinette: Of course not! We're your best friends!
Alya: Definitely!
Ash: [smiles] Thanks, girls! You guys are the greatest friends I could ever ask for!
Pikachu: PIKA PI!
The girls just smiled and gave Ash a group hug!
Ash: [giggles]
Then, they released!
Alix: By the way, what else can you tell us about Team Rocket?
Ash: Oh, where do I even begin? You won't believe any of this!
So, Ash told his friends about how Team Rocket was always chasing after Ash for his Pikachu and how he always thwarted every evil scheme of theirs!
Ash: And there you have it!
Rose: That's amazing! [hugs Ash] You're a hero even without superpowers!
Juleka: [smiles] Totally.
Ash: That's how I am! After all, [poses triumphantly] I laugh at the face of danger!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
The girls couldn't help but chuckle at that!
Alya: You know, I really wanna see how evolution works!
Ash: Okay! [pulls out his Rotom Phone] Rotom, show our friends some clips of Pokémon evolving!
Rotom Phone: Showing clips of evolution!
Then, it played a video of a Riolu evolving into Lucario during a battle with Ferrothorn and Copperajah!
Juleka: [smiles] Awesome!
Alix: Nice!
Marinette: Incredible!
Ash: Pretty impressive, huh?
Alix: I'll say! That was so cool!
Mylène: It was amazing!
Alya: Way past cool!
Marinette: I agree!
Juleka: So awesome.
Rose: I'll bet Lucario was so cute as a Riolu!
Lucario: MRAH? [blushes, but plays it cool] MRAH RAH!
Alya: [teasingly] Is that a blush I see, Lucario?
Lucario: MRAH?! [shakes it off] MRAH! [denying] MRAH RAH!
Alya: [chuckles]
Rose: There's no need to try to be a tough guy, Lucario! Everyone has a soft spot!
Ash: She's right, Lucario!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!
Lucario: MRAH!
Later on, the girls were heading home! Juleka was the last to leave Marinette's room!
Juleka: It was cool hanging with you, Ash. I hope we could do it again sometime.
Ash: [smiles] Same here, Juleka! I'd love to hang out again!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Lucario: MRAH!
Juleka: Awesome. [gives Ash a peck to the cheek, much to his surprise] See you. [leaves]
Ash: [blushes] S-See you around!
Tikki: [coming out and flies over to Ash] It would seem you're understanding more and more on love and affection!
Ash: [blushes] I guess so!
Tikki: You know, you should tell Juleka how you feel! Otherwise, you won't get anymore opportunities!
Ash: But, what if she doesn't feel the same way?
Pikachu: PIKA.
Marinette: Ash, I've seen how she looks at you! I'm sure she feels the exact same way about you!
Ash: You really think so, Marinette?
Marinette: I don't think so! I KNOW so!
Ash: Thanks, Marinette! But I honestly don't think I'm fully ready to confess my feelings to her!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Tikki: Don't worry, Ash! When the time is right, I'm sure you'll confess your feelings to her!
Ash: [smiles] Thanks, Tikki!
Marinette: By the way, Ash! I've been meaning to ask! Were you able to get Adrien a present for his birthday?
Ash: GUH! [grabs his head in worry] Man, oh man! I totally forgot!
Marinette: There's still time! Why don't you go out see if you can find something for him!
Ash: Great idea!
And he went to do just that!
Ash: [thinking worriedly] Man, what am I gonna do? What am I gonna get Adrien for his birthday?
Arceus (voiceover): I believe I can solve this problem!
Ash: Huh?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Then, Arceus appeared! But he was medium-height!
Ash: Arceus?!
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Arceus: Yes! It is I! And I have made myself medium-height, so as to not draw attention!
Ash: Wow! What brings you here?
Arceus: I heard about your dilemma with Adrien's birthday and I have come up with a solution to your problem! [makes a PokéBall appear] This will be Adrien's present from you!
Ash: A PokéBall?
Arceus: Yes! [levitates the PokéBall over to Ash] But inside this PokéBall is the perfect Pokémon partner for Adrien! Open it and see!
Ash: [smiles excitedly] Okay! [opens the PokéBall]
Litten: [appearing] LITTEN!
Ash: [gasps] A Litten!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Arceus: Yes! If this young one trusts your friend, then it shall be his partner!
Ash: Awesome! Hear that, Litten? You're going to a new home!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Litten: [happy] LITTEN!
Arceus: Now, [makes a gift box appear] you'll need to put the PokéBall in this!
Ash: Right! [returns Litten and puts the PokéBall in the gift box] There! Adrien is gonna love this! Thanks, Arceus!
Arceus: My pleasure! But he must not use Litten during your fight against Hawk Moth! Otherwise, it'll expose his identity!
Ash: Huh? Why not?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Arceus: It would put him at risk of danger by Hawk Moth!
Ash: Right! Don't worry, Arceus! You can count on me!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Arceus: Excellent! I must go now! [as he starts to vanish] Until we meet again! [vanishes] Farewell!
Ash: See you later, Arceus! [to Pikachu] Adrien's gonna love his gift, buddy!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash: Let's head over to his place and give it to him!
And they did just that! Soon, at the Agreste mansion...
Ash: Okay! Hopefully Mr. Agreste will let me in! [rings the doorbell]
Then, the hidden compartment opened up and out came the camera!
Nathalie: Yes?
Ash: Um, hi there! My name's Ash and I'm in Adrien's class! I was wondering if I could see him! [shows the present] I have present for him for his birthday!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Nathalie: Very well! Come in!
Then, the gates opened!
Ash: Wow! Thank you! [goes in]
Soon, he was waiting in the foyer with Nathalie!
Ash: Wow! This place is big! [to Nathalie] I hope you don't mind me intruding, Miss...?
Nathalie: Nathalie.
Ash: Nathalie? That's a nice name! Well, I hope you don't mind me intruding, Miss Nathalie? And I hope Mr. Agreste doesn't mind either!
Pikachu: PIKA.
She then turned to Pikachu and smiled.
Nathalie: [pets Pikachu on the head]
Pikachu: PI? [coos] CHA!
Nathalie: You're a cute one!
Pikachu: [happy] PIKA PIKA!
Then, Adrien came down, along with his father!
Adrien: Hey, Ash!
Ash: Hey, Adrien!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash: [to Gabriel] And you must be his dad! It's a pleasure to meet you, sir!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Gabriel: Likewise. You must be Ash. My son says much about you.
Ash: That's my name! And this is my buddy, Pikachu!
Pikachu: [greeting] PIKACHU!
Adrien: So, Ash! What brings you here?
Ash: Oh right! [pulls out the gift box] I don't know if it's too late or not, but I got a present for you for your birthday!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Adrien: Really? For me?
Ash: Yeah! Go ahead! Open it!
When he opened it, there was a PokéBall inside!
Gabriel: What's this?
Ash: It's a PokéBall! [pulls out his own PokéBall] It's one of the things that I have! But this one's for Adrien! Because there's a Pokémon inside that's a perfect fit for him! [to Adrien] Go ahead, Adrien! Your new friend wants to meet you!
Adrien: Uh, okay! [opens the PokéBall]
Litten: [appearing] LITTEN!
Adrien: Wow! Who's that?
Ash: Adrien, meet your new friend! The Fire Cat Pokémon, Litten!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Litten: LIT!
Adrien: Wow! Hi there, little guy! Nice to meet you!
The Fire Cat Pokémon then approached Adrien!
Litten: [rubs up against his leg] LITTEN LIT!
Ash: Whaddya know! It likes you!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Adrien: Wow! Thanks, Ash! [to Gabriel] Can I keep him, father? Can I?
Gabriel thought about this, but then he saw Ash giving attention to Pikachu!
Gabriel: Yes, of course!
Adrien: [happy] Really?!
Gabriel: [nods]
Adrien: [hugs his father] Thank you, father! [picks up Litten] Litten, we're gonna be great friends! Whaddya say?
Litten: [happy] LITTEN!
Adrien: [to Ash] And thank you too, Ash! This is the best present ever!
Ash: No problem, Adrien! I'm glad you love it!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash: I'm gonna get going! See you tomorrow at school, Adrien?
Adrien: Sure! I'll see you tomorrow!
Ash: Cool! And it was nice to meet you, Mr. Agreste, sir! [leaves] Bye!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Adrien: Bye!
After he left, Adrien took Litten upstairs!
Adrien: Here's my room, Litten!
Litten: [amazed] LITTEN…
Adrien: You like it?
Litten: [nods] LITTEN LIT!
Adrien: I'm glad! Hey, Plagg!
Plagg: [flies out] Where were you?
Adrien: Ash had come by to bring me this awesome birthday present! Plagg, meet Litten, our new roommate!
Litten: [greeting] LITTEN!
Plagg: Well, it would be nice to have a fellow feline around! [holds up a piece of Camembert] Do you like Camembert?
Litten: LIT? [sniffs the piece of cheese] LIT?! [gags] TEN-LIT!
Plagg: Oh, well! More for me! [eats the cheese in one bite]
Adrien: Plagg, not every cat has to like that stinky cheese!
Plagg: Their loss!
Adrien: [to Litten] So, little guy? You're a Fire-type Pokémon, right?
Litten: [affirmative] LITTEN!
Adrien: That's pretty cool! Or hot! [motions his thumb at a training dummy] Show me what you've got!
Litten: [jumps out of Adrien's arms] LIT! [Ember move] LIT...TEN!
That left a burn mark on the dummy!
Adrien: Whoa! Sweet! Imagine how people will react to me as Cat Noir with Litten by my side!
Plagg: Sorry, mac! But that can't happen!
Adrien: Huh? Why not?
Plagg: If you did that, then you'd be at risk of revealing your true identity!
Adrien: [gasps] You're right! If people knew I had Litten and Cat Noir did too, then that would definitely raise suspicion!
Plagg: Exactly!
Litten: LITTEN?
Adrien: Then, what will I do?
Plagg: Well, remember what Ash showed in that video about Pokémon?
Adrien: Yeah? What about it?
Plagg: Well, maybe Litten could be your pet!
Adrien: My first pet?
Litten: LITTEN?
Plagg: Sure! You never had a pet before, right?
Adrien: Nope! My father never let me have a pet!
Plagg: But, he said yes to Litten, so he's your first pet!
Adrien: [smiles] You're right! Plus, I might even get to try a Pokémon battle one day!
Plagg: Well, no harm in going both ways! It could be your pet and your battle partner!
Adrien: My thoughts exactly, Plagg!
The teen model then turned to the Fire Cat Pokémon!
Adrien: Whaddya say, Litten? Will you stay?
Litten: [jumps onto his shoulder] [nods and smiles happily] LITTEN!
Adrien: Awesome! Welcome to the family, Litten!
Litten: [happy] LITTEN!
Arceus was watching this from a distance with a nonexistent smile!
Arceus: It would seem Adrien and Litten have gotten along nicely! Even though I know his true identity, it's best that it remains a secret! It would put me at risk of exposure and being in danger!
Then, he vanished! The next day, at school...
Chloé: [screaming at Sabrina] What do you mean not for a week?!
Sabrina: [scared] There were no adults yesterday to deliver it.
Chloé: So what? Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous! [storms inside, followed by Sabrina]
Alya: [to Marinette] Ha ha! Serves Chloé right.
Ash: That'll teach her to mess with us! As the old saying goes: "If you treat others poorly, then it's gonna bite you back in the tailbone!"
Alya: That's an old saying?
Ash: Well, it should be.
Marinette: [giggles] I kinda like that!
Ash: Glad you do!
Then, they saw Adrien!
Adrien: Hey girls! Ash!
When he got out of the limousine, he was wearing a light blue scarf!
Marinette: [to Alya] Hey, that's my scarf! He's wearing my scarf.
Ash: Yeah! [notices Litten] And look! There's his new little friend I told you about! Litten!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Marinette: Aww! It's so cute!
Alya: What a cute little kitten!
Ash: It's not just any kitten! It's a Litten!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Alya: Oh!
Litten: [on Adrien's shoulder] [nuzzles against him] LITTEN!
Alya: It really seems to like Adrien!
Adrien: [to Nino] Hey, dude.
Alya: Yo, nice scarf, Adrien. Off the chain.
Adrien: Yeah, can you believe my dad got this for me?
Ash: Huh?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Marinette was shocked!
Adrien: He's so awesome. He's been giving me the same lame pen for three years in a row.
Nino: Wow, I guess anyone can change. Adults can be cool when you least expect it.
Adrien: Speaking of adults, I know my father said you were a bad influence, but-
Nino: We're good, Adrien, don't sweat it. We're buds. Always and forever.
Adrien: And let's not forget Litten!
Litten: LITTEN!
Nino: Who gave you that?
Adrien: He's standing right behind you!
Nino: Huh? [looks at Ash, who waved]
Ash: Hey, Nino!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Nino: You gave Adrien this little kitten?
Ash: Mmhmm!
Nino: That's kinda cool! Where'd'ya get it from?
Ash: Sorry, but I can't tell you! It's a secret!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Nino: Oh! Okay then! Now I'm pretty jealous! I want a Pokémon partner too!
Ash: In time, Nino! In time!
Pikachu: PIKA PI!
Adrien: Thanks again, Ash! And by the way, let's have a battle some time! Whaddya say?
Ash: [happily gasps] [shakes his hand] Deal!
Alya: [as she points to Marinette] And a certain someone will be cheering you on, Adrien!
Marinette: [blushes] Uh, yeah! Cheering you on! For sure! [smiles goofily] [giggles]
Adrien: Thanks, Marinette! [to Litten] Whaddya say we head inside? Partner?
Litten: [affirmative] LITTEN!
Then, Nino, Adrien and Litten started to head inside!
Alya: [to Marinette] You gotta tell him you were the one who knitted the scarf.
Marinette: But he seems so happy about his dad. I don't want to spoil it for him.
Alya: Aw, Marinette.
Ash: You really do care about Adrien!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Lucario: MRAH MRAH!
Ash: [teasing] I can already picture wedding bells ringing for the both of you!
Pikachu: [giggling] PIKA PI!
Marinette: [turning bright red] Ash!
Ash: [singing] La la la la!
Marinette: You are one cheeky boy!
Ash: [giggles] But still! Making him think your gift was from his father! That's so awesome of you!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Alya: [as she and Marinette hug] You're amazing, girl. You know that, right? And someday Adrien will figure it out too. Promise.
Ash: Yeah!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Alya: [as she and Marinette hug] You're amazing, girl. You know that, right? And someday Adrien will figure it out too. Promise.
Then, the bell rang, and everyone started to walk in! The screen shows Marinette hugging herself about Adrien, Ash giving him a PokéBall, and Adrien wearing the scarf and Litten on his shoulder!
Narrator: And another happy ending is made! And Adrien has a new friend! And hopefully, Marinette will confess her feelings towards Adrien! As the journey continues!
