I DON'T OWN POKÉMON OR MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!*
Narrator: Last time, Marinette had received a Pokémon Egg, which hatched into a Popplio! And Marinette now has her first Pokémon!
It was another beautiful day in Paris, and Alya seemed to be filming a video of herself in front of the Dupain-Cheng bakery.
Alya: Don't blink now, 'cause we are live from Paris. Yo peeps, Alya here, bringing you the one and only Ladyblog. [hears helicopter noises] Huh? What is that?
Ladybug was flying by, hanging on to her yo-yo, tied to the helicopter!
Ladybug: [screaming]
Ash: [riding on Dragonite] Hold on, Ladybug! Ash to the rescue!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Dragonite: BRWAR!
However, Ladybug seemed to have dropped book while riding the helicopter!
Alya: Ladybug in action. Hang on 'cause we're going for a ride. [runs over and picks up the book] [gasps] Freak out! What you got here is no ordinary book, it's a tenth grade history book. And I should know, 'cause I've got this very same book. Could our very own Ladybug be a high school student, in real life? Whoa!
Turns out, Ash, Marinette and Tikki, along with their Pokémon, were watching the video that took place today!
Marinette: I told you from day one, Tikki, I'm a total klutz!
Ash: Okay! So, you made one little mistake! So what? We all make mistakes and that's how we learn from them!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Marinette: But now, Alya might try to figure out who the text book belongs to and if she figures out that it's me...
Ash: Marinette, she's not gonna find out it's you! You've gotta relax!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash: I mean granted, she is a persistent girl! But still, she won't find out it's you just like [snaps his fingers] that!
Marinette: Well, you're not wrong.
Ash: So trust me when I say that she won't find out that you are Ladybug!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Then, Popplio started nuzzling up against Marinette's chest in comfort!
Popplio: [nuzzling against her] POP POP!
Marinette: [giggles] [pets Popplio on the head] Thanks, Popplio!
Popplio: [happily nuzzles against her] POPPLIO POP!
Marinette: [giggles] I know! I know! I love you too!
She then cradled the Sea Lion Pokémon in her arms!
Marinette: You're my sweet baby girl! [tickles her chin] Mommy loves you!
Popplio: [happy] POP!
Marinette: But still, [as she rubs Popplio's head] I wish I hadn't had the book on me in the first place. Then this would've never happened.
Tikki: What's done is done; we can't change what happened. We can only move forward. Alya must not find out who you are. You know how persistent she can be with her blog totally dedicated to Ladybug.
Ash: Yeah! She's a super fan!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash: [smiles cheekily] A little crazy I might add!
Marinette: But still, I don't know what to do! Maybe I'm not cut out for this whole Ladybug thing.
Tikki: You are the chosen one, Marinette. It will all work out, trust me. Everyone has a past they can learn from.
Tikki typed on the computer rapidly, bringing up a page on Egyptian pharaohs!
Ash: [eyes sparkle] Wow, Tikki! How did you do that so fast?
Tikki: I'm a Kwami of many talents! [to Marinette] This will show you why.
She just stared at the screen confused!
Popplio: [tilts its head] POP?
Marinette: An exhibition at the Louvre? On the pharaoh Tutankhamun? What does that have to do with my book and Alya?
Tikki: You must persuade Alya to go there with you, and make sure she brings the book. You'll tell her you found out something about Ladybug.
Marinette: At the museum?
Ash: How would she know about Ladybug in a museum?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Tikki: You'll see!
Marinette: Well, I don't know how I'm gonna convince Alya to go to an Egyptian exhibit, much less convince her that I'm not Ladybug!
Tikki: She will be interested, and so will you. Promise.
That made her smile!
Ash: Then what are we waiting for? [starts to head down] Let's GO!
Pikachu: [follows] PIKA!
Marinette: [takes Popplio in her arms and follows] Hey! Wait for me!
[Intro: It's Ladybug]
Marinette (speaking):
In the daytime, I'm Marinette,
Just a normal girl with a normal life.
Ash (speaking):
And I'm Ash Ketchum. I'm a Pokémon Trainer, and my goal is to be the very best, like no one ever was.
Marinette (speaking):
But there's something about us that no one knows yet.
Ash (speaking):
'Cause we have a secret.

Scene changes to Pikachu in an open field twirling Ash's hat on its tail and then putting on and smiling as Ash reads the title of the chapter!
Ash (voiceover): Chapter 15: The Pharaoh!
Ash, Marinette, and Alya had arrived near the Louvre and were getting off the bus!
Alya: Can you believe it? All I gotta do is find to do who this history book belongs to and BAM, I figure out Ladybug's true identity! I'm so on this one!
Ash: I'm sure you do, Alya! But don't you think Ladybug wants to keep her identity a secret for a reason?
Pikachu: PIKA PI!
Alya: Whaddya mean?
Ash: I've seen a lot of superhero movies! And the one rule of superherodom is that a superhero must never reveal their true identity! And besides, if you found out Ladybug's identity, you'd be at risk of putting yourself in danger from Hawk Moth and either he or you will be out to get her for her Miraculous!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Ash: And honestly, I wouldn't want to lose a friend!
Alya felt touched from what Ash just said!
Then, she smiled and hugged her friend!
Ash: Huh? Alya?
Alya: That's really awesome of you that you care about me and my safety so much, Ash! You really are my best friend!
Ash: [chuckles] I'm just telling you the truth! I don't like seeing my friends hurt!
Alya: I know! But it's really sweet that you care about me and my safety!
Ash: [smiles] I hear you! It's how I am!
Pikachu: [giggles] PIKACHU!
Alya: And that's what makes you a true hero!
Ash smiled from that and Alya took Pikachu into her arms!
Alya: And you're awesome too, Pikachu!
Pikachu: [climbs up Alya's arm and onto her shoulder] [happy] PIKA PIKA! [while nuzzling against her cheek] [coos] CHA!
Alya: [giggles]
Ash: You know, Alya! You'd make a great Pokémon Trainer!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Alya: You think so?
Ash: Absolutely!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Alya: Thanks! Come on! [runs ahead] The Louvre's Egyptian exhibit holds the secret identity to Ladybug!
Ash: Boy, that Alya sure is persistent!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Marinette: Yeah! [groans] But persistent isn't good!
Popplio: POP?
Meanwhile, elsewhere in Paris, a small portal opened up, and a certain Rabbit Pokémon from Galar stepped out from it!
Scorbunny: SCORBUN?
It then began observing its surroundings!
Scorbunny: SCORBUNNY?
It saw lots of people and vehicles and a lot of other things too!
Scorbunny: SCOR...
Then, it saw what looked like a pyramid made out glass!
Scorbunny: [eyes sparkle amazed] SCORBUN!
Then, it ran over to investigate it!
In the Louvre, our heroes were walking down the stairs!
Marinette: You really think you could figure out who Ladybug is from a textbook that every high school student owns?
Popplio: POPPLIO?
Alya: Yep. 'Cause our school [as she places her hands on Marinette's shoulders] is the only school that uses that book! HA! So, all I gotta do is find out which girl in tenth grade lost her history book last week. There are forty-three girls, not counting myself-
Marinette: Forty-two! Not count you... or me.
Ash: Haste makes waste! I predict you'll never figure it out! Never never never!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!
Alya: Oh yeah?
Ash: [innocently] Maybe!
Marinette: [sarcastically] [under her breath] Nice cover up.
Alya: [elbows Marinette] Hmm, yesterday somebody didn't have their textbook in class.
Ash: GUH! [nervous] W-Well...
Marinette: [worried] Uh- I left it at home. You know how I always forget my stuff.
Ash: Uh, yeah! That's it!
Alya: [looks at them suspiciously] Hmm...
That made them both nervous! Especially Marinette!
Popplio: [sweat drops nervously] POPPLIO...
Pikachu: [sweat drops nervously] PIKACHU...
Alya: [chuckles] Just messing with you, Marinette. Of course I'll only drop you from my investigation when you bring your history book back to class.
Ash: Oh, don't worry! I'll make sure she doesn't forget it! [nudges her playfully] Right, Marinette? [winks]
Marinette: Uh, yeah! Of course!
Soon, they arrived in the Egyptian exhibit!
Ash: [eyes sparkle in amazement] Wow! This is so cool!
Pikachu: [eyes sparkle in amazement] PIKACHU!
Ash: So this an Egyptian exhibit!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Alya: Sure is!
A young man known as Jalil Kubdel was rushing towards the exhibit and pushed past Alya, Marinette, and Ash, but ended up dropping the folder full of papers he was carrying and knocked Popplio right out of Marinette's arms.
Popplio: [falls] POP! [falls on its noggin] POP!
Marinette: [gasps] Popplio!
Popplio: [crying] POPPLIO!
Marinette: [picks up Popplio] Are you okay?
Popplio: [whimpering] [rubbing her head] POP POP.
Marinette: Oh, did you get a boo-boo?
Popplio: [nods] POPPLIO.
Marinette: Here! I'll kiss it better! [kisses its head] Mwah!
That made Popplio feel better!
Popplio: [feeling better] POP!
Marinette: All better, sweetie?
Popplio: [nods] POPPLIO!
Marinette: That's good!
Ash: [smiles] [to Jalil] [annoyed] What's the big idea?!
Pikachu: [annoyed] PIKACHU!
Jalil also seemed to have dropped a medallion he possessed and picked it up, inspecting for any damages.
Jalil: It's not broken!
Alya: [annoyed] Uh, I'm okay too, thanks for asking.
Jalil: I'm sorry. Hey, you're in the same grade as Alix, right?
Ash: Yeah! We are!
Jalil: I'm her older brother, Jalil Kubdel.
Ash: Oh! So you're her older brother! Well, it's nice to meet you Jalil! My name's Ash! And this is my buddy, Pikachu! And these are my friends, Marinette and Alya!
Pikachu: [greeting] PIKACHU!
Marinette: Hello!
Alya: Hey!
Popplio: [greeting] POPPLIO!
Jalil: It's a pleasure! So you're into Tutankhamun too?
Ash: Tutan-what-now?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Jalil: Tutankhamun!
Ash: Oh! Who is he anyway?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Jalil: Tutankhamun, or commonly referred to as King Tut, was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh who was the last of his royal family to rule during the end of the 18th Dynasty during the New Kingdom of Egyptian history. He was madly in love with Princess Nefertiti.
Ash: He was? Well, whaddya know!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Alya: [smirks and nudges him playfully] Sounds like a certain someone and his girlfriend!
Ash: Hey! I look nothing like that King Tut guy!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash: But you're right about one part!
Marinette: What's that?
Popplio: POP?
Ash: About me and Juleka!
Alya: I know! You two are inseparable!
Ash: Yeah!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash then looked at the golden coffin!
Ash: Whoa! Check this out! This almost has a resemblance to a Cofagrigus!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Alya: Cofa-what-now?
Ash: [pulls out his Rotom Phone] Here!
Rotom Phone: Cofagrigus, the Coffin Pokémon. A Ghost-type. There are many depictions of Cofagrigus decorating ancient tombs. It has been said that they swallow those who get too close and turn them into mummies. They like to eat gold nuggets.
Alya: Oh.
Jalil: [gasps] Incredible!
However, Marinette was freaked out by the description!
Marinette: Wait! They t-turn people into mu-mummies?!
Ash: They're sometimes able to do that!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Marinette: [gulps nervously]
Ash: But you know, if you were to look like a cute mummy girl, I'm sure Adrien would probably find it attractive!
Pikachu: [snickers] PIKA PIKA!
Marinette: [gasps] [blushes] [fantasizes about herself as a cute mummy girl and Adrien] [giggles goofily]
Popplio: POP?
Ash: [while Marinette fantasizes] Either that or add a few female Egyptian pieces of clothing and accessories and you could be his Egyptian Princess! A cute one too at that!
Pikachu: [giggles] PIKACHU!
Marinette: [blushes even brighter] [giggles goofily]
Jalil saw a historian walking nearby towards them, which happened to be his father!
Jalil: Dad! [runs over to him]
Alya: Weird. [to Marinette] So again girl, why are we here? This exhibit's got something to do with Ladybug? For reals?
Marinette: Well, uh...
Ash: [sweat drops nervously] Uh...
Marinette looked at Tikki in her purse, and the Kwami pointed at an Egyptian papyrus.
Marinette: Yeah, it's over there.
Ash: Right this way!
They then approached the papyrus!
Ash: Whaddya think, Alya?
Marinette was trying to see the significance, but Alya was just looking bored.
Ash: [sweat drops] This isn't working!
Pikachu: [sweat drops] PIKACHU!
At the Agreste Mansion, in Adrien's room, Adrien was watching the same video from the Ladyblog shown earlier, with Litten sitting on his lap.
Alya: Hang on, 'cause we're going for a ride. Freak out! What you got here is no ordinary book, it's a tenth grade history book. And I should know, 'cause I've got this very same book. Could our very own Ladybug be a high school student, in real life?
Adrien: That's crazy! What are the odds that we have the same textbook? Maybe we even go to the same school!
Litten: LITTEN?
Plagg: Don't you think you know her then? [eats his cheese] Why bother yourself with ladies when you could be enjoying this?
Litten: [sighs in exasperation] LITTEN...
Adrien: For one, ladies smell about a thousand times better than that cheese. And they're much better-looking.
Litten: [nods in agreement and smiles] LITTEN!
Plagg: Suit yourself. Your loss. [eating his cheese] NOM NOM!
Adrien: My only loss is my appetite.
Litten: [agreeing] LITTEN!
Plagg: [belches in Litten's face]
Litten: [turns green] LIT! [dramatically falls onto Adrien's lap] LITTEN!
Adrien: Plagg! Gross!
Litten: [swirls in eyes] LITTEN!
Back at the Louvre, Ash, Marinette, and Alya were still at the exhibition.
Ash: Come on, Alya! You gotta at least like this, right?
Alya: I don't even know! I'm not sure I even get this! [to Marinette] Come on, tell me what it is already!
Marinette: No, no, cause... it wouldn't be a surprise then... [under her breath] for you or me.
Marinette looked at Tikki in her purse and they looked at another ancient Egyptian papyrus.
Ash: [looking at the papyrus] Hmm...
Pikachu: PIKA?
Alya: Find anything?
Ash: [groans] This is making my head hurt!
Pikachu: PIKA.
Popplio: [looking at the papyrus] [tilts its head in confusion] POP?
Ash: [pulls out his Rotom Phone] [points his camera at the papyrus] Rotom, translate!
But before his Rotom Phone could do so, Jalil and his father were walking over!
Jalil: I'm telling you, father, it's right there in the hieroglyphics. [pushes Marinette and Ash aside] Excuse me. There, as you know, the one with the scepter is Tutankhamun, the first. And there, opposite is Nefertiti, his princess. There are exactly one hundred mummies beside them. She died several years before him, and the sun god Ra took her as his goddess.
Ash: Sun god? [to Marinette and Alya] Is that a thing or...?
Marinette: I'm pretty sure it is!
Ash: There is so much I still don't know about this world!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Jalil: Well, father?
Mr. Kubdel: Yes, I know all that. [straightens his scarf] I'm the director of this exhibition, remember?
Ash: Wow! You're the director of the Egyptian exhibit, Mr. Kubdel?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Mr. Kubdel: Indeed!
Jalil: [takes his glasses off] Then you also know that Tutankhamun wanted to bring his princess back to life, by offering the sun god a new wife. This seemed to illustrate the ritual he devised.
Ash: [gasps] Hold on! Are you saying he performed a sacrifice?!
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Jalil: Yes! That's right!
Popplio: [buries her face in Marinette's chest] POPLI!
Marinette: [strokes the back of Popplio's head] It's okay, Popplio!
Jalil: [to Mr. Kubdel] Nobody has ever fully deciphered the hieroglyphics, but I have! It's a magic chant that needs to be recited in order to complete the ritual! I'm sure of it!
Ash: A magic chant?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Marinette: [turns to Alya] He kinda reminds me of someone else with crazy ideas... you!
Ash: [huffs a snicker] [laughing]
Pikachu: [laughing] PIKACHU!
Alya: You might think my theories about Ladybug are crazy, but you watch, girl, I'll prove you wrong.
Ash: As I said before we came in, haste makes waste! You'll never figure out who Ladybug really is! [while shaking his head] Never never never!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Alya: [deadpans him] [groans]
Mr. Kubdel: Jalil, these types of frescoes are almost always the illustration for a legend. They called it a legend for a reason...
Jalil: That's what everyone thinks. But I know it's real. I can prove it!
Mr. Kubdel: Really? Exactly how are you going to prove it?
Ash: Mr. Kubdel, with all due respect, I believe your son can try his best to prove that it's more than just a legend! He can do anything he sets his mind to! And besides, I've been basically a legend to be told! Back during my travels where I'm from, I was a chosen one! I saved my home land from chaos and mass destruction multiple times and live to tell the tale!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA!
Mr. Kubdel: Really now? That's quite a remarkable and thrilling tale, young man! And you do have a good point, but performing a "magical chant" seems very impossible to do so, and I highly doubt my son can perform such an uncanny task.
Jalil: I just need to get my hands on Tutankhamun's scepter and recite the spell!
Ash: [gasps] I'm sorry, what?!
Mr. Kubdel: [stops Jalil by grabbing his hand] Are you serious? Don't even think of touching that scepter. I'd lose my job on the spot. It's a priceless historical object! Not a toy!
Ash: [looks at the scepter] Not to mention a little eerie! Is it supposed to represent a snake?
Pikachu: PIKA?
But, they were too busy arguing!
Jalil: Come on, dad! We have to try out the spell! What if Tutankhamun had found out how to bring people back to life?
Mr. Kubdel: Listen, Jalil! That's enough! Get your head out of those papyrus scrolls and focus on the real world! This one!
That made Jalil upset! But his father just walked off! At Hawk Moth's lair, his window opened up, due to him sensing Jalil's sadness!
Hawk Moth: There's nothing wrong with living out a fantasy. Especially when I can make it a reality. [turns a butterfly into an akuma] Fly away, my evil akuma, and transform that young man!
Then, the akuma flew off into the city!
Back at the Louvre, Ash, Marinette, and Alya were still at the exhibition, and Marinette was still trying to figure out the significance of the symbols.
Marinette: Uhhh... ahhh...
Alya: [yawns]
Then, Alya gained an idea and began to take the history book Ladybug dropped out of her bag!
Ash: Huh? [nervous] GUH!
Marinette: Gah! Put that down! I'm gonna show you the secret I found out about Ladybug!
Alya: 'Bout time. This better be blog-worthy.
Ash: Uh, yeah! You better believe it!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Marinette: Yeah! What he said!
That's when Ash saw an ancient prophecy relic on another wall!
Ash: Hold on! [goes over to it] What's this? [calls to Marinette and Alya] Hey, girls! Look at this! It looks like an ancient prophecy! [reads while Marinette and Alya came over] "A brave hero with a yellow lightning creature will help two superheroes in red and black save the world from chaos and destruction!"
Pikachu: PIKA?
Ash: What is this?
Alya: I don't know! [looks at Ash] But it sounds familiar!
Ash: You're right! [places his hands on his hips] But how?
Pikachu: PIKACHU?
Alya: Uh, [points to Ash] Brave hero! [points to Pikachu] Lightning creature!
Ash: [gasps] Us?!
Pikachu: PIKA?
Alya: Duh! It's kinda obvi!
Ash: But it couldn't be! This must have something to do with ancient history or something!
Pikachu: [nods his head in agreement] PIKA PIKA!
Marinette: Maybe it's got something to do with your family?
Ash: [puts his hand on his chin] Hmm…
Pikachu: PIKA...
Unknown to our three friends, Scorbunny was watching them!
Scorbunny: SCORBUNNY!
The Rabbit Pokémon then looked at the artifacts!
Scorbunny: [curious] NY-BUN!
It then approached one of the statues!
Scorbunny: [inspects] SCORBUN...
However, it was spotted by a guard!
Guard: Hey! How'd you get in here?!
Scorbunny: [gasps] BUN!
But before Scorbunny could run, it was caught by the guard!
Guard: Well now! You look like a nice innocent bunny rabbit! You must've wandered in here! And get you're lost and hungry! Come on! [while walking away, carrying Scorbunny in his arms] Let's get you something to eat and I'll bring you to a shelter after my shift!
Scorbunny: [sighs in relief] SCORBUN...
Scorbunny was relieved that it wasn't in trouble, but it seemed a little sad since its main goal was to find a person to call its trainer! Outside the Louvre, Jalil was upset about what his father said and sat down on an edge of the fountain. That's when the akuma flew towards him and into his amulet, as a light mask appeared on his face!
Hawk Moth: Pharaoh, I am Hawk Moth. I have endowed you with the magical power of the ancient gods. You must do me a favor in return for this gift.
Jalil: My precious Nefertiti will come back to life!
Then, he began to transform! Back in the louvre, in the Egyptian exhibit, Ash, Marinette, and Alya were still looking at the papyrus.
Marinette: Uhhh.. ahhh...
Popplio: POP...
Ash: Hmm...
Pikachu: PIKA...
Alya: This thing's making my eyes hurt.
Ash: Not as much as that prophecy!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Ash: What could it mean?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Ash: [on his head] I'm gonna have to find Arceus and ask him about this later on!
Alya started to get the book out again, but Marinette stopped her from doing so.
Marinette: Look closely! It is in there.
Ash: Uh, yeah! Come and see!
But then, they heard a whistle blow!
Marinette: Huh?
Museum employee: Hey, you!
Ash: What's going on?
Rotom Phone: [alarm going off] Akuma Alert! Akuma Alert!
Ash: [gasps] Oh no! Someone's been akumatized!
Pikachu: [worried] PIKA!
Ash looked and saw the villain, known as the Pharaoh!
Ash: Whoa! [pulls out his Rotom Phone] Rotom, identify!
Before it could, the Pharaoh was already on the attack!
The Pharaoh: Thoth, give me time!
His face changed to the face of the Egyptian God, Thoth, and he trapped the employee and the civilians in golden bubbles, causing them to move super slowly!
Ash: Uh oh! That's not good! Let's get outta here!
Pharaoh launched a bubble at Ash, Marinette, and Alya, but they were able to dodge! However, he began to create another one!
Ash: Quick, Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!
Marinette: Popplio, Bubble Beam!
Pikachu: [Thunderbolt move] PIKA...CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
Popplio: [Bubble Beam move] POP! POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP!
The attacks were able to cancel out Pharaoh's attack!
The Pharaoh: What?! Impossible!
Ash and the girls hid for cover, but Alya grinned, took out her smartphone, and ran out of hiding!
Marinette: Alya, hide!
Ash: Get back here!
Luckily, she hid behind another display case for cover, so she could film what was happening!
The Pharaoh: Get out of here, faster!
This made the bubbles holding the people fly out of the room!
Ash: [to Marinette] We have to do something!
Marinette: [whispers] Follow me!
Ash and Marinette hid from the Pharaoh and ran to another part of the exhibit in hiding!
Popplio: [scared] POPPLIO!
Marinette: It's okay, Popplio! Mama's gonna handle it! [takes out Popplio's PokéBall] For now, [returns Popplio] return!
And Popplio was returned safely!
Marinette: I've gotta transform!
[Transformation Sequence]
Marinette: Tikki, spots on! Ha!
And Marinette transformed into Ladybug!
Ash: [determined] Time to heat things up!
Pikachu: [determined] PIKACHU!
[Transformation sequence]

Then, his clothes gained a red and orange color scheme, along with flame decals, and a fire symbol appeared on his cap! When the transformation was complete, he posed like he had completed the pose for the Fire-type Z-Move!

The guard who caught Scorbunny was running to safety, but the said Pokémon was witnessing the current situation!
Scorbunny: [worried] SCORBUN!
Then, Scorbunny jumped out of the guard's arms and ran towards the situation!

Meanwhile, the Pharaoh was stealing the scepter through levitation and Alya was secretly filming him!
Alya: [whispering, recording a video on her phone] OMG. Coming to you live, Ladyblog viewers, I'm at the scene even before Ladybug or Cat Noir! This is insane!
Adrien, Plagg, and Litten were watching Alya's video back at home, on the computer, and Adrien was shocked at what he was seeing.

The Pharaoh: Actually, I'm taking back what rightfully belongs to me.

The Pharaoh: What?! [hit] UGH!
Ash: Nobody messes with my friend! [with fist blazing] Now, here comes a Fire Punch!
The Pharaoh: Fire Punch?!
Ash: [goes for the punch] HAH!
The Pharaoh: [hit] UGH!
Ash: Hot enough for ya, Tut Man?!

Ash: Pikachu, use Quick Attack!

The Pharaoh: [hit directly in the stomach] GUH!

The Pharaoh: Never! Sekhmet, give me your strength!
His face changed to the face of the goddess, Sekhmet, and he used his strength to bend the bars, but Cat Noir appeared!
Cat Noir: How nice of you to hold the door open for me!
Ash: Better late than never, Cat!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Cat Noir: Thanks, buddy!
Cat Noir attacked the Pharaoh, but the Pharaoh grabbed him by his face!
Cat Noir: [flailing] [grunting]
Then, the Pharaoh threw him into a coffin, trapping him inside!
Ash: Cat Noir!
The Pharaoh: Enjoy your coffin! [laughs]
Ash: [angrily growls] You'll pay for that, you dummy mummy!
Pikachu: [angry] [cheeks sparking wildly] PIKACHU!
Pharaoh: Come at me then, shrimp!
Ash: [angry] SHRIMP?! Oh, you are so getting it now! [as his fist flames] FLAMING FIST OF DIGNITY!
Then, he went on the attack!
The Pharaoh: [unleashes a shockwave] HAH!
Ash: [counters by spewing a Flamethrower from his mouth]
Some of the Flamethrower pushed the attack back and hit Pharaoh!
Ash and Pharaoh: [hit] GUH!
Ladybug ran over to the coffin and tried to open it in order to free Cat Noir!
Ladybug: [grunts] Ash, a little help!
Ash: Oh! Coming, Ladybug! [to Pharaoh] I'll deal with you later, Tut Man!
The Pharaoh started to make his way out while Ash ran over to help Ladybug open the coffin!
Alya: [recording] This is hecka crazy! Keep your eyes peeled!
However, she was approached by the Pharaoh!
Alya: [sees the Pharaoh standing over her] Hiya!
The Pharaoh: [places his hands on Alya's face] Your face. Fate has placed you on my path. Come with me! [slings her over his shoulder and walks out]
Alya: Hey! Hands off the threads. I can walk myself!
Ash: Oh no! Alya!
Pikachu: [worried] PIKA PI!
Alya just smiled and waved at them like the fangirl she was!

Luckily, they were able to throw open the coffin and free Cat Noir!

But the Pharaoh walked away with the scepter, papyrus, and Alya in tow!
Alya: [slightly nervous] And don't forget! All the latest behind-the-scenes are on my blog! [winks]
Ash: [facepalms] [groans]
Pikachu: [facepalms] PIKACHU!
Cat Noir: That Alya is one brave chick.
Ladybug: If by brave, you mean bossy, feisty, and bold? Yup, that's her!

Then, his hand glowed a black, bubbly energy and he used it on the bars! Then, they rusted, causing them to break and allowing our heroes to escape!
Ash: I would've just used my power to save the energy, but whatever!

Ladybug: Alya's got a livestream on her blog! [plays the video from the screen of her yo-yo]

However, they didn't know that they were being watched by Scorbunny, who saw the whole ordeal!

The Rabbit Pokémon wanted to help but didn't know what to do! Then, it decided! It starting thinking of a thought bubble of helping Ash, Ladybug, Cat Noir, and the Pokémon fight the Pharaoh and literally kick his butt!

Then, it ran off in the direction of Ash and Ladybug!

Outside the Louvre, the Pharaoh threw Alya to the ground and was ready to start the next part of his plan.

Then, his helmet changed into what looked like a jackal and he began firing beams from his eyes, turning people into mummies!
Mummies: [moaning]
The Pharaoh: Soon, we'll be together again, my Nefertiti! My long-lost love!
Alya: This is gonna be one major scoop! [taps the Pharaoh on the shoulder] Uh, excuse me, Pharaoh, but, uh, what exactly is going on?
The Pharaoh: I'm going to carry out the secret spell, to bring Nefertiti back!
Alya: Ahh, hmmm. Gotcha! You're talking about the spell on the papyrus, right?
The Pharaoh: Correct! The one hundred mummies and the offering!
Alya: Offering. What offering?
The Pharaoh: To persuade the sun god Ra [as he visions his princess] to give me my sweet princess, I must give him something in return. A pure soul!
Alya: Dude, that's hard to come by.
The Pharaoh: But I've already found her! You look so much like her!
And he was right! The women in the papyrus scroll had a strong resemblance to Alya!
Alya: Say what?!
The Pharaoh: [laughs]
With Ash and Ladybug, they were watching the video on Ladybug's yo-yo!
Ash: Looks like Tut Man is trying to perform the ritual from the stolen papyrus! We've gotta stop him!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Lucario: MRAH!
Infernape: INFERNAPE!
Ladybug: And we will! Hold on, Alya!
Then, they made a run for it, but they were running straight towards the time bubbles the Pharaoh created!
Ash: [gasps] [skidding to a stop] Ladybug, look out for those time bubbles!
But it was too late! Ladybug got caught in one of the time bubbles!
Ladybug: Whoa! Oh, no, I ran right into one of those time bubbles!
Ash: Ladybug!
Unfortunately, Ash and his Pokémon weren't able to stop in time, and they were caught in the time bubbles as well!
Ash: Aw, come on!

Lucario: [trying to break free] MRAH! MRAH!
Infernape: [trying to break free] IN-FER-NAPE!
Ladybug: [voice in slow motion from the outside] "We've got to get out of this!"

Alya: [from video] Ladybug, this is Alya! I just found out I'm the sacrificial offering to the sun god! Please hurry!

She started running inside the bubble, but she wasn't going very fast!

Ash: Ladybug! I think we should just wait until Cat Noir comes back to help us!

Ladybug: [voice in slow motion from the outside] [running inside the bubble] "There's no time!"
Ash: [groans]
In another part of the Louvre, Plagg was refueling with camembert and Adrien was checking his cellphone.
Plagg: Oh, do you seriously think this mumbo-jumbo with the sun and mummy stuff is gonna work? [burps]
Adrien: You have no respect. Your batteries are charged up enough!

Then, Adrien transformed into Cat Noir! Soon enough, Cat Noir arrived and burst the time bubble Ladybug was trapped in.
Ladybug: Whoa! [as Cat Noir catches her]

Ash: [voice in slow motion from the outside] "Hey, Cat Noir! A little help?"
Cat Noir: Oops! [bursts Ash's time bubble]

Cat Noir: Don't sweat it, buddy! And I got Lucario and Infernape for ya! [bursts the time bubbles]
Lucario: [thanking] MRAH!
Infernape: [thanking] NAPE!
Ash: Now, come on! [as he starts to run ahead] We gotta save Alya and stop Pharaoh from performing the ritual!
Pikachu: [runs after him] PIKACHU!
Lucario: [runs after them] MRAH RAH!
Infernape: [runs after them] INFERNAPE!
Ladybug: [as she and Cat Noir ran after Ash and up the stairs] We've gotta find the hidden akuma and free it before he sacrifices that poor girl!
They arrived at the front door, and they saw rows of mummies!
Ash: Uh oh! Trouble! He's turned a bunch of people into mummies!
Pikachu: [worried] PIKACHU!
Ladybug: And they're doing something!
Ash: It must be the ritual! But where's Alya?
Ladybug: [searching] I don't see her or Pharaoh.
Ash: The roof! We might be able to get a better view from up there!
Ladybug: You're right! Come on!
Soon, they reached the rooftops!
Infernape: [spots the Pharaoh] [gasps] INFER!
Ash: You see him, Infernape?

Down below, the Pharaoh was holding Alya hostage and the ritual was about to begin! That's when Alya spotted a figure in the papyrus, who seemed to have black spots on her outfit and spinning a familiar yo-yo.
Alya: Whoa, back up! Who's that goddess chick with the black spots! There, on your papyrus!
The Pharaoh: Ladybug, my sworn enemy! My nemesis may have kept me from carrying out my ritual 5000 years ago, but she will not stop Nefertiti from coming back to me this time!
Alya: Did you say... Ladybug 5000 years ago?!
Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Ash were watching the video, and completely surprised!
Ladybug: Everyone does have a past they can learn from.
Cat Noir: Well, you don't look a day over 3000.
Ladybug: Now you know why I'm so much wiser than you. Hm!
However, she didn't hear Ash laugh from her joke!
Ladybug: What?
Ash: [shocked] HUH?!
Pikachu: [shocked] PIKA?!
Lucario: [shocked] MRAH?!
Infernape: [shocked] INFERNAPE?!
Ash: How is that even possible?! There's just no way! It's impossible to live for 5,000 years! You and I are the same age! There is no way that's you in that scroll!

Ladybug: Whoa, [places her hands on Ash's shoulders] Ash, calm down!
Cat Noir: Slow down before you blow a gasket!
Ash: Sorry! I think I'm gonna need a minute! This is a lot to take in at once! There's no possible way Ladybug's 5,000 years old! The woman in the scroll must've worn her Miraculous in the past!

Ladybug: Then, that must mean that there were other Ladybugs before me!
Ash: We'll worry about the rest of the details later! Right now, we gotta stop Pharaoh, save Alya and get his akuma! Question is: How?
The Pharaoh: [starting the ritual] Oh, sacred Ra, god of the sun, I Pharaoh, offer to thee a pure soul! The sacrifice for the return of Nefertiti!
While he spoke, the Louvre pyramid lit up, and it shot a beam into the sky that started spreading darkness, with a golden light in the center!
Ash: Uh oh! That can't be good!
Pikachu: [worried] PIKA.
Lucario: [growls] MRAH.
Infernape: [growls] NAPE.
The Pharaoh: I bow to you, and present this gift with my mummies! In company, we pray to you the safe return of princess Nefertiti! Awaken, Nefertiti! Awaken! Awaken, Nefertiti! Awaken!
Mummies: Awaken, Nefertiti... Awaken...
Alya: [as the mummies carry her toward the pyramid] Ladybug!
Ladybug: We've gotta save her before he completes the ritual, or Alya will be gone, forever!
Ash: Forever?!
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Lucario: MRAH?!
Infernape: FERNA?!
Ash: That's not good! What'll we do?!
Ladybug: [to Cat Noir] Hold back the mummies while me and Ash take on the Pharaoh.
Ash: [nods determinedly] Hm!
Cat Noir: Why do I have to deal with these freaks while you get to slip calmly round back?
Ladybug: Because I'm the only one who can capture his akuma, Ash is very strategic, and because you are the bravest one out of all of us! [winks]

Then, the mummies went after Cat Noir!

Then, Ladybug swung down and grabbed Alya!

Ash: Infernape, use Flamethrower!

Then, his mask turned into a bird face! Then, he took flight!
Ash: Two can play at that game! [tosses a PokéBall] Dragonite, I choose you!
Dragonite: [appearing] BRWAR!
Ash: [hops onto Dragonite's back] After 'im, Dragonite!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Infernape: FERNAPE!
Dragonite: [complying] BRWAR! [takes to the skies]
Meanwhile, Scorbunny was secretly watching!

Back with Ladybug and Alya, they landed on a rooftop.
Alya: [recording] Peeps, you just witnessed another insane feat from Ladybug! Thanks for saving my butt!
Ladybug: Oh, uh, you're welcome. But it's not over yet. Not until-
Alya: Not until Ladybug destroys the pendant containing the akuma, and turns everything back to normal! I pay attention.
Ladybug: The pendant! Good eye!
Alya: [sees the Pharaoh flying in behind Ladybug] Ahhh!
The Pharaoh knocked Ladybug off the roof, but she used her yo-yo to land safely.
Alya: Way to go, Ladybug!
Ash: [flying on Dragonite] Time to teach you a history lesson, Pharaoh! Dragonite, use Hurricane!
Dragonite: [Hurricane move] BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRWAR!
The Pharaoh: [getting blown back] [grunts]
Ash: Now, use Draco Meteor!
Dragonite: [Draco Meteor move] BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRWAR!
Then, it started raining glowing rocks!
Pharaoh: What's this?!
Alya: [gasps] [holds up her phone] I am so recording this!
Pharaoh tried to dodge, but they were falling all around him!

After the Draco Meteor shower dispersed, the Pharaoh landed behind Alya and threw her phone away!

Ladybug managed to catch the phone, without a single scratch.
The Pharaoh: [holding Alya under his arm] You're not going to win this time, Ladybug!
Alya: Help me, Ladybug!
Ash: Hey! Why don't you stop hiding behind an innocent civilian and fight like a man?! I can take you and your whole mummy army! [balls his fists and does a boxer stance while Pharaoh puts Alya down for a moment] Come on, Tut Man! Put 'em up! Put up your dukes!
Pikachu: [cheeks sparking wildly] PIKACHU!
Pharaoh: [flicks Ash on the forehead]
Ash: [as he falls backwards a few inches and onto his back] GAH! [shakes it off] [stands up and gets back in his boxing stance] Is that all ya got?!
Pikachu: [cheeks sparking threateningly] PIKACHU!
Pharaoh then took a nearby telephone wire and pole and made it into a bow and he grabbed Ash and used him as the arrow, shooting far away from them!
Ash: [as he flew away] Ah-hoo-hoo-hoo-hooey!
Pikachu: [horrified] PIKA PI!
Pharaoh: Child's play!
Ladybug: Dragonite, go fly after Ash and get him back here! I'll handle Pharaoh from here with Pikachu!
Dragonite: [nods affirmatively] BRWAR! [flies off]
Ladybug: Pikachu, help me out! Okay?
Pikachu: [nods affirmatively] PIKA!
Ladybug: Thunderbolt!

With Juleka and Rose, they were on their way back from a jewelery store! They had combined their savings to have Juleka get Ash a amethyst gemstone ring!

But then, Ash landed in a tree nearby!

Ladybug ran into a bus, where the mummies followed in pursuit. But then, she exited the bus and ended up trapping the mummies inside, while Cat Noir used his staff to flip the bus over.
Ash: [while dusting his hands off] That'll hold ya, ya dummy mummies!
Pikachu: [jumps onto his shoulder] [happy that his best buddy is okay] PIKA PI! PIKACHU!
Ash: Don't worry, buddy! I'm okay!
Pikachu: [relieved] PIKACHU!
Lucario: MRAH!
Infernape: INFERNAPE!
Ladybug: There you are, Ash! You alright?
Ash: Yeah! I'm good! Landed in a tree and saw Rose and Juleka! And she got me a present! I'll show you after we kick Pharaoh's butt!
Ladybug: Awesome! We have to save Alya before she reaches the circle of darkness!
Then, the three heroes and the Pokémon charged towards the Pharaoh!
The Pharaoh: You will not stop me from bringing Nefertiti back! I'll finish you off! Anubis, bring me mummies!
Then, his face mask turned to a jackal face!
Ash: Not this time! Infernape, Flare Blitz!
Infernape: [Flare Blitz move] IN...FERNAPE!
The Pharaoh: [hit] GUH!
Ash: Here comes [doing a Flare Blitz] my Flare Blitz!
The Pharaoh: What?! [hit] GUH!
Ash: Had enough yet, Tut Man?!
But then, he shot beams at Ladybug and Cat Noir, in order to turn them into mummies, but they managed to dodge them!
Ash: So?! Lucario, Force Palm!
Lucario: [Force Palm move] MRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAH!
The Pharaoh: [hit] UGH!
Ladybug used her yo-yo to grab the Pharaoh, while Cat Noir started to climb up the Louvre to save Alya!
Ash: Hurry, Cat Noir!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Cat Noir: I'm going! I'm going!
The Pharaoh: Horus, give me your wings!
Then, his mask became a bird face!
Ash: Uh, Ladybug, you might wanna-
However, he was cut off when the Pharaoh lifted himself into the air, along with Ladybug!
Ladybug: [screaming]
Ash: [facepalms] Release your grip! Dragonite, go save her! Again!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Dragonite: [complying] BRWAR! [flies after Pharaoh]
While airborne, Ladybug took this opportunity to grab the Pharaoh's pendant and drop it!
Ladybug: Cat Noir! Ash! The pendant! That's where the akuma is!
Ash: We're on it!
Ladybug landed safely, thanks to Dragonite, but when they ran for the pendant, the Pharaoh landed on it!
Ash: Hey!
The Pharaoh: Sekhmet, give me your strength!
Then, his face mask turned into a lion head! He used his strength to make a sonic wave that knocked Ash, Ladybug, and Cat Noir away!
Ash: Ouch!
Pikachu: [rubbing its head] PIKA!
Ash: That Tut Man is really starting to get on my nerves!
Lucario: [growls] MRAH RAH!
Ash: Pikachu, Electroweb!
Pikachu: [Electroweb move] PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA PIKA CHU-PIKA!
That managed to trap the Pharaoh!
Pharaoh: What?!
Ash: Use Thunderbolt!

Ash: [creates a fireball] Fireball, GO!
That caused both attacks to combine!
The Pharaoh: [hit by the electric fireball] GAH!
Ash: Direct hit!
Ladybug: Nice shot!
Cat Noir: Now that's what I call an electrical fireball!
The Pharaoh: [groans]
Ash: Now, we've got 'im!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Hawk Moth: [from his lair and through the light mask] You can take it, Pharaoh! Once Ladybug and Cat Noir are dealt with, bring me the boy!
Pharaoh: As you wish!
The Pharaoh then broke free of the Electroweb!
Ash: Lucario, use Double Team!
Lucario: [Double Team move] MRAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH RAH!
Ash: Use Aura Sphere!

The Pharaoh: [hit] UGH!
Ash: Infernape, use Mach Punch!
Infernape: [Mach Punch move] IN... FERNAPE!
The Pharaoh: [hit across the face] OOF!

The Pharaoh: Not so fast!
With a clap of his hands, he created a sonic wave that hit Dragonite!

Then there was trouble! The mummies surrounded our heroes!
Ash: Uh oh! The mummies escaped!

The Pharaoh: [grabs the pendant] It's over.
Alya: [coming closer and closer to the circle of darkness] Ladybug, save me!
Ash: Alya!

Infernape: [worried] INFERNAPE!
The Pharaoh: Oh, Ra, god of the sun, accept this humble offering and return the princess to me!
Scorbunny: [coming from out of nowhere] [Double Kick move on Pharaoh's behind] NY...BUN!
The Pharaoh: GUHOOF!
Hawk Moth: What's this?!
Scorbunny: [fighting stance] SCORBUN!
Ash: [gasps] [shocked] A Scorbunny?!
Pikachu: [shocked] PIKA?!
Lucario: [shocked] MRAH?!
Infernape: [shocked] FERN?!
Cat Noir: I take it you know about this little rabbit?
Ash: Yeah! It's a Pokémon from the Galar Region! My good friend had one as his first Pokémon!

And the Lucky Charm seemed to be a Ladybug costume!

Ash: If you think you're gonna dress me up as you, then you must be crazy!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA!
Ladybug: I doubt that's why I received this! [observes her surroundings]
Ladybug used her thinking vision, and the earrings in the costume appeared.
Ladybug: [as she approaches the Pharaoh] This offering isn't good enough for Nefertiti!
Ash: Huh? What is she talking about?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Lucario: MRAH?
Alya: Hey! Thanks a lot!
The Pharaoh: Too late, Ladybug! The ritual has begun!
Ash: [glares at him] She said let Alya go, RIGHT NOW!
Pikachu: [cheeks sparking wildly] [threatening] PIKACHU!
Lucario: [growls threateningly] MRAH RAH!
Ladybug: Set Alya free and sacrifice me instead!

Then, his mask turned into a bird face!
The Pharaoh: [begins to take flight while holding Ladybug] And I haven't forgotten that Hawk Moth wants you, boy! Mummies, seize him!
Ash: Uh oh!
The mummies then began to swarm towards Ash!
Cat Noir: [protecting Ash] Hey! Stay away from my buddy!
Ash: [as his fists flame] Or get ready to feel the heat!
Pikachu: [cheeks sparking threateningly] PIKACHU!
Lucario: [threatening] MRAH RAH!
Infernape: [threatening] NAPE!
Then, Scorbunny rushed in to help!
Scorbunny: SCORBUN! [Quick Attack move] SCORBUN NY-BUN!
Mummies: [groaning in pain]
Ash: It's Scorbunny!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Cat Noir: It's trying to help us!
Scorbunny: [motions the mummies to come at it] SCORBUN BUN!
Cat Noir: That bunny's got guts!
Scorbunny: [Double Kick move] NY-BUN! BUN!
Mummies: [groaning in pain]
Ash: It's using Double Kick!

Scorbunny: [Mega Kick move] BUN...NY!
Mummies: [groaning in pain]

Cat Noir: Let's help the little rabbit, Ash!

Mummies: [groaning in pain]

However, a mummy was coming up from behind Scorbunny!

Mummies: [groaning in pain]

Mummies: [electrocuted groaning]

Meanwhile, the Pharaoh had flown up with Ladybug to Alya!
Alya: Seriously?
The Pharaoh threw her off the beam and began to fall!
Ash: Uh oh! [tosses a PokéBall] Quick, Gengar! Use Psychic!
Gengar: [appearing] GENGAR! [Psychic move] GEN…
That made Alya levitate as she floated to safety!
Alya: Thanks, Gengar! [looks up at Ladybug] [crosses her arms] Excuse you, but I make excellent sacrificing material!
Ash: Not if you aren't around to keep doing your Ladyblog!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA!
Alya: Good point!
Scorbunny: SCORBUN!
Alya: Huh? Well, what have we here?
Scorbunny: SCORBUNNY!
Ash: That's Scorbunny!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Scorbunny: NY-BUN!
Alya: I take it it's another Pokémon from where you're from?
Ash: You guessed it!
The Pharaoh placed Ladybug onto the beam, causing her to go up!
Hawk Moth: Take her Miraculous! The earring!
Ladybug: You win, Pharaoh... [pretends to take off her earrings]
When Pharaoh went to grab her "Miraculous", she tricked him and swiped his pendant!
Ladybug: You want my Miraculous? Go get it! [throws the fake earrings]
Hawk Moth: Get it!
The Pharaoh flew right down and grabbed them, but he saw they're fake!
The Pharaoh: A toy? You tricked me!
Ash: That's right!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Scorbunny: [Mega Kick move on Pharaoh's behind] BUN...NY!
The Pharaoh: OOF!
Ash: [punches him across the face with a fiery fist] HI-YAH!
Pharaoh: [hit] UGH!
Ladybug punches the pendant, breaking it, releasing the akuma, which causes the golden beam to disappear. Then, she slid down the pyramid and landed on the ground.
Ladybug: [opens her yo-yo] No more evil doing for you, little akuma. [swings her yo-yo around] Time to de-evilize! [catches the akuma and purifies it] Gotcha! [opens her yo-yo, releasing the purified butterfly] Bye bye, little butterfly! [tosses her lucky charm into the air] Miraculous Ladybug!
The burst of energy fixed all the damage that has been done and all the mummies were turned back into humans! Then, the Pharaoh turned back into Jalil!
Jalil: What happened?
Ladybug then gave Alya her phone back.
Alya: Thanks, Ladybug! But, uh, I still gotta ask: how old are you, really?
Ladybug: Um, much older than a high school student, that's for sure! [swings away]
Ash: Sheesh! Oh well! [leaves] See ya later, Alya!
Pikachu: [saying goodbye] PIKACHU!
Alya: But Ash, what about the Scorbunny?
Scorbunny: [runs after them] SCORBUN!
Alya: Hey! Hold on a minute!
But Scorbunny had already ran off!
Cat Noir: Don't you wanna know how old I am?
Alya: In a sec, looks like I'll be able to tell for myself.
Cat Noir saw that he was about to turn back and ran away!
Alya: [laughs]
Meanwhile, Ash and Ladybug were somewhere private!
Ash: Phew! That was close! But another crisis solved!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!
Ladybug: I'll say!
Scorbunny: [runs over to them] SCORBUN!
Ash: Huh? Hey! It's that Scorbunny again!

Ladybug: Hey, [kneels down to its level and pets its head] thanks for helping my friends back there with the mummies! You were amazing!

Ash: Yeah! Not bad for your first encounter with a super villain!

Lucario: [nods in agreement] MRAH RAH!
Scorbunny: [puts its paws on its hips in pride] [proud] SCOR SCOR NY-BUN!
Ladybug: But what's a little guy like you doing in Paris anyway?
Ash: [gasps] Oh yeah! Scorbunny, how did you even get here in the first place?

Scorbunny: [tries to remember] NY-BUN. [remembers] BUN! [makes a gesture of walking through the forest] SCOR SCOR NY-BUN.

Scorbunny: [nods] NY-BUN! [makes a gesture of seeing a portal] SCORBUN! [inspecting] NY?
Ladybug: [puts her hand on her chin] And you came across a portal...
Scorbunny: [nods] NY-BUN! [makes a gesture of going into the portal] SCOR...BUN!
Ash: And then you went into it!
Scorbunny: [nods] NY-BUN! [makes a gesture landing in Paris] SCORBUN! [looking around] NY-BUN!
Ladybug: And that's when you arrived in Paris and explored the city!

Then, it made its decision and smiled!

As Ash, Pikachu and Lucario were walking back to the Louvre...

Later at night, Ash and Marinette were in bed, and Marinette was reading from her textbook while talking with her Kwami.
Marinette: [as Popplio was snuggling with her] I don't get it. I know I'm not 5000 years old, so... who exactly was that Ladybug in the papyrus?
Tikki: Kwamis like me and superheroes like you have always existed!
Marinette: So...that wasn't you in the papyrus either?
Popplio: [tilts her head] POPPLIO?
Tikki: What do you think?
Ash: [gasps] Tikki, are you saying you've been around for more than thousands of years?!
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Tikki: You could say that!
Ash: [eyes sparkle] Whoa! And here I thought there used to be more than one Ladybug Kwami!
Marinette: [smiles awkwardly] I highly doubt that there are. [strokes Tikki's head with finger] You don't look 5000 years old.
Tikki: [giggles] Well, I'm not! I'm older than that! I'm the Kwami who's watched over every single Ladybug since the very beginning!
Ash: [eyes sparkle in astonishment] WOW! Then you must've been around for millions of years!
Pikachu: [eyes sparkle] PIKACHU!
Tikki: [giggles] Close enough!
Marinette: You must have known much less klutzy Ladybugs than me, right?
Tikki: Every Ladybug is different.
Marinette: That's what I thought.
Ash: Hey, don't be like that, Marinette! You're one of the best Ladybugs there is! And the only one I know for that matter!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Marinette: You really think I'm not that different, Ash?
Tikki: Marinette, you are different. But different as in surprising, unpredictable and endearing. And very talented. You learn fast.
Ash: She's got a point!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Marinette: Really?
Tikki: Yes.
Ash: Not only that, you've become a super awesome and caring Pokémon Trainer, too!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Marinette took Tikki into her hands and kissed her on her little forehead!
Ash: [chuckles]
Pikachu: [smiles] PIKACHU!
Popplio: [snuggles against Marinette] POP! POPPLIO!
Marinette: [cuddles Popplio] [giggles]
Ash: Oh! I almost forgot! What was that prophecy thing all about back at the Louvre? "A brave hero with a yellow lightning creature will help two superheroes in red and black save the world from chaos and destruction!" What does that mean?
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Arceus (invisible): Perhaps I can answer that!
Ash: [gasps]
Pikachu: [gasps] PIKA!
Then, Arceus appeared in his medium-height size!
Ash: Arceus!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Marinette: You're back!
Arceus: Yes! And about that prophecy you saw! That was the prophecy of your ancestors before you! Like you, I have brought your ancestors to this dimension many many years ago! And the red and black heroes were the Ladybug and Cat Noir of the past! This kind of prophecy has been passed on for generations until the fate of the prophecy was given to you!
Marinette: What?!
Ash: [gasps] No way!
Pikachu: [amazed] PIKA…
Arceus: Yes! Like you, your ancestors and their Pikachus had been following this prophecy for a long time because they were brave heroes who were face any challenge that came their way! And after many years, that honor is now bestowed upon to you! Because you are a brave hero that faced any challenge that came your way!
Ash: [gasps in awe] [smiles]
Pikachu: [awed] PIKACHU!
Marinette: Wow! That's incredible!
Popplio: [eyes sparkle in awe] POP!
Tikki: Of course! Now I remember! I've seen lots of men with Pikachu many years ago! No doubt that they just might be your ancestors!
Ash: [excited] This is so cool! Each of my ancestors had a Pikachu as a partner!
Pikachu: [excited] PIKA PIKACHU!
Marinette: So that means each of Ash's ancestors before him was your chosen one!
Arceus: Indeed, Miss Dupain-Cheng!
Ash: Wow! This is such an honor! I don't even know what to say!
Pikachu: [honored] PIKA PI!
Marinette: You don't need to say anything! It's what you do that counts!
Tikki: Agreed!
Arceus: Indeed!
Ash: Thanks, you guys!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Marinette: Hold on, where's Scorbunny?
Ash: Oh, it's in my back...[looks at his backpack] pack?! It's gone!
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Ash: That sneaky Pokémon must've snuck out while I wasn't looking!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Marinette: Well, it's too dark to go look for it now!
Ash: [smiles reassuringly] Don't worry! I've seen how that Scorbunny handles itself! I'm sure it's okay out there!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
With Scorbunny, it was trying to find out where Alix went!
Scorbunny: [searching for Alix] SCOR! SCORBUN!
But try as it might, it doesn't know where Alix went!
Scorbunny: [disappointed] SCORBUNNY...
However, it wouldn't give up!
Scorbunny: [determined] SCORBUN!
It then continued its journey onward!
Ash: I wonder what it's up to!
Marinette: Same here! [to Arceus] You wouldn't mind watching over it, would you, Arceus?
Arceus: Of course, Miss Dupain-Cheng!
Marinette: Thank you! Hope it's not any trouble!
Arceus: No trouble at all, my friend!
Marinette: [smiles]
Popplio: POP POP!
Marinette: Oh right! [holds up Popplio] Arceus, I'd like you to meet Popplio! It hatched from the egg that you brought here for me!
Popplio: [greeting] POPPLIO!
Arceus: Yes! I know! The egg you received was a Popplio egg! I found it abandoned with no family! And when I saw that you get along well with Pikachu, I decided that you can receive the egg to have your first Pokémon!
Marinette: Yeah! I can't thank you enough! [cuddles her little one] Receiving my little Popplio was one of the most happiest moments in my entire life!
Popplio: [happy] POPPLIO!
Arceus: It was my pleasure, Miss Dupain-Cheng! You make an excellent mother figure towards your little one!
Marinette: I sure do! [while nuzzling noses with it] And I love Popplio so much!
Popplio: [happy] POPPLIO!
Marinette: You're my baby girl!
Popplio: [happy] POP POP!
Marinette: [giggles]
Arceus: [chuckles] I believe I should be going now! It was a pleasure to see you again, my friends! [to Tikki] Especially you, Tikki!
Tikki: You as well, Arceus! [hugs against its face]
Arceus: [chuckles]
Ash: Until we meet again, Arceus!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Arceus: Indeed! [as he disappears] Farewell!
Marinette: And there he goes!
Ash: Yep! [to Tikki] I never knew you were friends with Arceus, Tikki!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Tikki: [flies onto his shoulder] Well, let's just say he and I had a few encounters in the past! [nuzzles against his cheek] But I'm honestly glad I met you!
Ash: [smiles] Aww, thanks, Tikki! I'm glad I met you too!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Tikki: But you know! Since you've shown a great amount of skill with our villain encounters, I feel like you could be worthy of using a Miraculous of your very own!
Ash: [surprised] Really? You think I'd be able to use a Miraculous?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Tikki: Sure! Your bravery and skill and your strategic thinking are what makes you capable of having a Miraculous of your own!
Marinette: I couldn't agree more!
Ash: [smiles] Thanks, girls! I'm glad you approve of my strategies!
Pikachu: [smiles] PIKACHU!
Tikki: You better get to sleep. Remember, you have that history test tomorrow!
Marinette: Oh yeah! Good thing it's on Ancient Egypt.
Ash: Yeah! And with everything that's happened today, that A is as good as ours!
Marinette: [chuckles] For sure!
The scene ends with Ladybug leaping into action, Ash powered up with the Flame Plate and Pikachu by his side, unleashing a Thunderbolt, the papyrus depicting Ladybug from Ancient Egypt and the one depicting Ash's ancestors and their Pikachu, and Scorbunny running towards its goal of Alix being its trainer!
Narrator: I guess things are certainly okay for Marinette! Her identity is safe and things are okay! And Scorbunny is still searching for its trainer! As the journey continues!
