25. The Hunter

Here's chapter 25! I hope you'll enjoy it! Because you're all in for a big surprise!

Narrator: Our hero has recently had himself a new adventure in another world, in a city known as Paris! He currently resides there to help the super defenders, Ladybug and Cat Noir, protect the city from the evil Hawk Moth, in order to prevent him from stealing the heroes' magical jewels, known as the Miraculous! They've fought against multiple threats! [flashbacks of fights from Horrificator, Dark Cupid, and Pharaoh] Some were scary, some were thrilling, some were suspenseful, [as a flashback of Reflekta being lovey dovey towards Ash plays] and even quite romantic! But for Goh and Chloe on the other hand...

The two said Pokémon Trainers were walking through the forest!

Chloe: Goh, why are we out here again?

Goh: I'm trying to retrace Ash's steps to find out how he ended up in Paris! Basically how he ended up finding a gateway to another world!

Chloe: I see. And why exactly did you drag me here, too?

Goh: Because if I find it, you're coming with me! Doesn't exploring a whole new world sound exciting to you?!

Chloe: I suppose.

Goh: And if I recall, the last place Ash was at was the lake!

Grookey: [agreeing] GROOKEY!

Soon enough, they arrived at the lake!

Chloe: Alright, we're at the lake. And I don't see a way to get to this Paris you keep jabbering about, which is probably just a load of baloney.

Goh: Now don't say that! Where else do you think Ash has been during his [makes finger signs] "absence"?

Chloe: Touché. But even if he found a way to get to this Paris from this location, how would he have done it?

Goh: This is where he was last at before he disappeared! Maybe in the lake?

Chloe: Good luck trying to dive down to find that "way" to Paris.

Goh: Hmm...

Grookey: GROOKEY?

That's when they saw a glowing white light near them!

Goh: Huh?

Grookey: GROO?

Chloe: What's that?

Eevee: VEE?

Then, what seemed to be a portal began to open up!

Goh: It looks like a portal! Maybe this leads to the dimension Ash is in!

Chloe: If it doesn't, I won't forgive you for dragging me into this mess!

Goh: [grabs her hand and jumps in] Come on! Let's go!

Chloe: AH!

[Intro: It's Ladybug]

Marinette (speaking):

In the daytime, I'm Marinette,

Just a normal girl with a normal life.

Ash (speaking):

And I'm Ash Ketchum.

I'm a Pokémon Trainer, and my goal is to be the very best, like no one ever was.

Marinette (speaking):

But there's something about us that no one knows yet.

Ash (speaking):

'Cause we have a secret.

Chorus:

Miraculous! Simply the best!

Up to the test when things go wrong!

Pokémon! Right by our side!

United as one, we will survive!

Miraculous! The luckiest!

The power of love, always so strong!

Miraculous!

Scene changes to Pikachu in an open field twirling Ash's hat on its tail and then putting on and smiling as Ash reads the title of the chapter!

Ash (voiceover): Chapter 25: The Hunter!

It was a crisp autumn day in Paris, and Ash was just waking up!

Ash: [yawns]

Pikachu: [yawns] CHA...

Ash: What time is it?

Pikachu: PIKACHU?

Ash: [looks at his Rotom Phone] YEOW! THE TIME! I'M LATE!

Ash quickly brushed his teeth, got dressed, and rushed downstairs!

Ash: Morning, Mrs. Dupain! [grabs a piece of toast] See you after school!

Sabine: Bye, Ash! Be good!

Ash: [rushes out the door; toast in mouth] I always am!

Soon enough, he made it to school!

Ash: I'm late! I'm late! I'm- [trips] WAH! [falls flat on his face] OOF!

Pikachu: [on his back; sweat drops] PIKACHU.

Ash: [dazed] Sorry I'm late, Miss Bustier.

Caline: [helps him up] It's alright, Ash! Overslept again?

Ash: [sheepish] Yeah. Up late helping Ladybug and Cat Noir.

Caline: I understand! You can't help doing heroic deeds for Paris! Especially at night! [pats his head] Just promise me you won't overwork yourself!

Ash: I promise!

Caline: Now, why don't you go take your seat?

Ash: Sure thing! [goes to do just that]

Ash then took his seat!

Ash: [looks over at Juleka; grins and waves]

Juleka: [smiles and waves back; blows him a kiss]

Ash: [blushes; giggles]

Pikachu: [smiles] PIKACHU!

Marinette: I almost thought you'd never show up!

Alya: Talk about one heavy sleeper!

Ash: Can you blame me? As a fellow defender of Paris, I have to make a few sacrifices!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Ivan: Just so long as they don't cause you to fall asleep in class.

Ash: Nope! I'm wide awake!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Goh and Chloe were currently flying through a vortex!

Chloe: Where is this thing taking us?!

Goh: [excited] It's gotta be taking us to the dimension Ash is in! I just know it!

Chloe: Just know that if it doesn't and you were wrong about this, I'll never forgive you!

Eevee: [pretending it's flying] EEVEE VEE!

Grookey: [pretending to fly] GROOKEY KEY!

Goh: I think we're almost through! Get ready!

Chloe: Oh, I'm ready alright. Ready for you to be proved wrong.

They made it through the vortex and were in Paris, but in the air!

Goh: Looks like we've arrived right where we hoped it would drop us! In Paris!

Chloe: But did it have to drop us in the middle of the sky?!

Goh: [shocked] THE MIDDLE OF THE SKY?!

And she was right! They began to fall!

Chloe: [scared] Please tell me you have at least one of your Flying-types with you!

Goh: [takes out a PokéBall] Not a Flying-type, but it can [opens it] fly!

Flygon: [appearing] FLYGON! [catches them on its back] FLY!

Goh: Nice catch, Flygon!

Flygon: [pleased] FLY! [begins to fly down]

Goh: [smirking with a cheeky look] You were saying something about me being wrong?

Chloe: [looks away; embarrassed] Oh, just be quiet.

Goh: [chuckles]

Once they landed and hopped off of Flygon, they began to take in their surroundings.

Chloe: So, where do we go from here, genius?

Goh: [sweat drops] Um... [sees a group of girls; goes over to them] Excuse us! Do you know anyone named Ash?

Girl #1: Do we know him?! [shows him a magazine she was currently reading] He's the trending guy who brought Jagged Stone, the famous rock-'n'-roll singer, back to the throne of musical awesomeness! [shows him a news broadcast on her phone] And he's also Ladybug and Cat Noir's famous sidekick!

Girl #2: He's the most popular guy in all of Paris!

Girl #3: And he's so dreamy!

Chloe: [surprised] Ash?! Dreamy?!

Goh: [surprised] Popular?!

Grookey: [amazed] GROOKEY!

Eevee: [awed] EEVEE!

Girl #1: You two friends of his?

Goh: Uh... Yeah! Do you happen to know where he is right now?

Chloe: We're trying to find him!

Girl #2: Oh yeah! He goes to Françoise Dupont High School!

Girl #3: You should find him there!

Goh: Awesome! Which way do we go from here?

Girl #3: [points to the right] That way!

Goh: Great! Thank you! [runs off] Come on, Chloe!

Chloe: [runs after him] Coming! Hold on!

Girl #1: [calls out to them towards off-screen] It's next door to a bakery! You can't miss it!

Girl #2: They were sure were nice!

Girl #3: They seemed to be eager to see Ash!

Girl #1: Ash must be one lucky guy to have friends like those two!

Girl #2: Agreed!

Meanwhile, Miss Bustier was lecturing the students about Dual-type species of Pokémon! And Ash was helping! They were currently starting off with Lucario and Gengar!

Caline: Lucario, the Aura Pokémon, is primarily a Fighting-type, but its second typing is Steel, making it immune to Poison-type attacks!

Ash: Thankfully, my Gengar doesn't know any Poison-type attacks! At least not yet anyway! But it is a Ghost-type AND half of its moves are Ghost-type moves! When battling Dual-type Pokémon, strategy is the best option for you! Knowing your opponent and using the kind of Pokémon that's either immune to or stronger than your opponent!

[class commenting in awe and fascination]

Ash: Now, let's imagine ourselves as some of the Dual-type Pokémon! And I pick at random Chloé and Marinette! Say Chloé was a menacing Dual-type Poison- and Dark-type! What type of Pokémon should Marinette be in order to defeat her in battle?

Adrien: [raises his hand]

Ash: Adrien?

Adrien: A Ground-type?

Ash: Nice job! Ground-types are super strong against Poison-types!

Alix: And with Chloé's toxic behavior all the time, it definitely fits her!

Scorbunny: [snickering with its paws over its mouth] SCORBUN BUN BUN BUN…

Chloé: Better to be toxic than be seen eating carrots 24/7!

Scorbunny: [blows a raspberry at her]

Chloé: Furball!

Scorbunny: [angry] SCOR…

Alix: Pay her no mind, Scorbunny! She's all bark and no bite!

Rockruff: [barks] RUFF!

Juleka: [giggles]

Ash: Ahem. Anyway, back to the lesson!

Juleka instantly regained her focus on Ash!

Ash: Now, here's another example! Say if Kim was a Water- and Poison-type Pokémon like the Jellyfish Pokémon, Tentacruel! Which type of Pokémon should Alix be if she was up against him in battle?

Marinette: [raises her hand] Oh!

Ash: Marinette?

Marinette: Alix would have to be either an Electric-type or a Psychic-type!

Ash: Correct! Either Electric-types or Psychic-types would have a strong advantage over Water- and Poison-types like Tentacruel! Or a Pokémon that shares both types and becomes the dual-type Electric- and Psychic-type! Which brings me to the most intriguing part of our Pokémon lesson! Regional Variants! Now, if any of you remembers, what kind of Pokémon does a Pikachu evolve into?

Juleka: [raises her hand]

Ash: Yes, Jules?

Juleka: [mumbles] Raichu.

Ash: [smiles] Nice job! Pikachu evolves into Raichu! The Mouse Pokémon! You're so smart, Jules!

Pikachu: [praising] PIKA PIKACHU!

This made Juleka smile!

Ash: [screen projects Pikachu and Raichu] Now, as you may already know, Pikachu and Raichu are both Mouse Pokémon of the electric variety! But it was discovered that Raichu and some other Pokémon we'd be familiar with can have another form! This is what's known as Regional Variants! For example, [screen projects Kantonian Raichu on the left side] Raichu in the Kanto Region are pure Electric-types! But then, there's it's Regional Variant found in the Alola Region! [Alolan Raichu reveals on the right side of the screen] The Alolan Raichu! This form of Raichu has become the Electric and Psychic dual-type! It can manipulate electricity with its mind, and its psychic powers allow it to use its tail as transportation.

[class commenting in awe and fascination]

Kim: Awesome! It's surfing on its tail!

Ash: And here's another kind of Pokémon! [screen projects Diglett and Dugtrio, Kanto and Alola] There are the Mole Pokémon, Diglett and Dugtrio! Now, can anyone see any differences between these two Regional Variant Evolution Pairs?

Chloé: What the?! Are they wearing wigs?!

Ash: Technically, it's kind of like hair! See, Diglett in Alola have three golden whiskers on their heads that act as sensors! And the Dugtrio in Alola have a mop of golden hair formed from modified whiskers on each head! Both of their hairs are made of metal which gave the Diglett and Dugtrio in Alola the Ground and Steel dual-type!

Kim: [shocked] Whoa. Metal hair.

Ash: And check this out! [screen projects Kanto and Alolan Exeggutor] Here's the Coconut Pokémon, Exeggutor! Both Kantonian and Alolan! Now, does anyone see any differences between these two?

Rose: [gasps; points at the Alolan Exeggutor] It's so tall!

Ash: Yes! Any other differences?

Alya: [notices its tail] Hold up! There's a... head on its tail?!

Ash: Yeah! The tail on the Alolan Exeggutor have a mind of their own and can attack! And as far as their height, while the Kanto Exeggutor are a height of 6 feet and 7 inches and weigh 264.6 pounds, the Alolan Exeggutor reach up to 35 feet and 9 inches and weigh 916.2 pounds!

Nino: Whoa...

Marinette: Wait! Its tail can attack you?!

Ash: Yep! [having a flashback of when he first met an Alolan Exeggutor] The first time I met an Alolan Exeggutor and touched its tail, I got a nice big whack from it!

Pikachu: [remembers; agreeing] PIKACHU!

Ash: But I also remember being friends with some Alolan Exeggutor!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!

Marinette: Friends? How?

Ash: That's a long story! Trust me!

Caline: Thank you, Ash! I hope you all took notes, class!

Marinette: Oh, we did!

Ash: [takes his seat] Feels good to teach you guys a lot about the incredibly wonderful world of Pokémon!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Marinette: Well, you did come from there!

Ash: [rubs his neck sheepishly] You're right!

Caline: Alright, class. For the next 15 minutes, review your notes. Because next week, Ash and I will be quizzing you on your Pokémon knowledge with a "Who's That Pokémon?" quiz game.

Some of the class cheered from the sound of that!

Ash: As well as a little game of "Jeopardy"!

Pikachu: PIKA PI!

Ash: For our little lesson we've learned today!

Nino: [pumps his fist] Alright, dude!

Soon, everyone began to study! As they did so, Juleka asked Rose to pass a note she had to Ash!

Rose: [whispers] Psst. Ash.

Ash: Huh? What's up, Rose?

Pikachu: PIKA?

Rose: [handing Ash Juleka's note; whispers] From Juleka.

Ash: [takes it] Ooh. Thank you.

When Ash unfolded it, it said: "You're awesome, you sweet potato!" And it had a kiss mark and a little heart on it!

Ash: [gasps; blushes; smiles] Oh, Jules. [looks over at her]

Juleka: [smiles and winks; makes a kissy face at him]

Ash: [blushes; giggles]

Pikachu: [smiles] PIKACHU!

[bell rings]

Ash: That's the bell!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Ash: Time for lunch!

As they were heading out, Miss Bustier had Ash stop for a moment!

Ash: Is everything alright, Miss Bustier?

Pikachu: PIKACHU?

Ash: I'm not in any kind of trouble, am I?

Caline: Of course not! I wanted to tell you that your Pokémon lessons are quite an experience for everyone! Pretty soon, almost every student will know about your home and all the Pokémon that inhabit it!

Ash: Really?! Awesome!

Caline: You've also been doing an excellent job with our recent lessons in French history and literature!

Ash: Well, I have been seeing a lot of the places in Paris and learning all kinds of new words! It's not that hard when I put my mind to it!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!

Caline: [rubs Ash's head] I'm just pleased that you're doing well in my class! You might just be my most favorite student!

Ash: [gasps excitedly] Really?! I'm your favorite student?! What about Marinette though?

Pikachu: PIKACHU?

Caline: Between you and me, she's one of my best and favorite students as well! But you're also my best and favorite student too!

Ash: [smiles] Aww, thank you, Miss Bustier!

Caline: My pleasure, Ash! Now, [rubs his head] why don't you head down to lunch?

Ash: Alright, mom! [realizes what he just said as Miss Bustier looked surprised; yelps; blushes in embarrassment] Er, I mean, ma'am! I-I mean... [rushes out the door] See you later!

Miss Bustier couldn't help but smile from this! As Ash was heading towards the cafeteria...

Ash: [flustered] Why'd I say that?! Why'd I say that?! Why'd I say that?! Why'd I say that?! Why'd I say that?! Why'd I say that?!

Pikachu: [reassuring] PIKA PI!

Ash: I don't know if I can face her after I called her "mom".

Pikachu: [comforting him; saying "I'm sure she understands it was an accident! She feels touched if anything!"] PIKA PIKACHU! PIKA PI PIKA PIKA!

Ash: I guess you're right, buddy! [rubs his head] You're the best!

Pikachu: [happy] PIKACHU!

Alya: [sneaking up behind Ash with Marinette and Juleka] What's Pikachu right about?

Ash: [startled] Whoa! Alya! [smiles nervously; waving his hands] Uh, it's nothing really! Nothing to worry yourselves over!

Pikachu: PIKA?

Alya: [smirking while giving an "I know you're lying" look]

Ash: [sweat drops] Alya, don't give me that look!

Marinette: Come on, Ash! You can tell us anything! That's what friends are for!

Alya: Time to bring out [ushers Juleka to make her move] the big guns!

Then, Juleka hugged Ash and gave him a big kiss on the lips!

Juleka: Won't you tell your bae, sweet potato? [rests her head on his shoulder] Please~?

Ash: Aww, Juleka. [sighs] Okay. [blushes in embarrassment] I… may have… accidentally called Miss Bustier… mom.

Alya: [huffs a snicker; trying to hold in a laugh] I'm sorry, you did what?!

Ash: [annoyed] I called her "mom" by accident! Don't rub it in, Alya!

Alya: I'm sorry! That just sounds kinda funny!

Ash: [sighs in annoyance] I knew you would think so! [groans in embarrassment] This is so embarrassing!

Alya: Come on! No need to pout! I'm only pulling your leg! Besides, I'm pretty sure Miss Bustier is probably feeling touched by you calling her "mom"!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI! PIKACHU!

Ash: I know! To be honest, it just came out without me thinking! [scratching a finger on his cheek] I guess with the praise she was giving me, I just felt like Miss Bustier was like a mom to me! Well, next to Professor Burnet of course!

Marinette: [chuckles] It clearly shows!

Ash: Anyway, you guys wanna head in to the cafeteria?

Marinette: Sure thing!

Ash: Awesome! [to Juleka; smirks] So, Jules! That note you had Rose give me!

Juleka: I wrote it to give to you. [mumbles] So, um, did you like it?

Ash: No, I did not like it! [Juleka looks disappointed] I loved it!

Juleka: [gasps; smiles]

Ash: Juleka, anything you give me makes me happy! But what I love from you most of all [wraps an arm around her] is you being right by my side!

Juleka: [blushes] Oh, babe. You're making me blush.

Ash: [smiles] I think you look even more beautiful when you blush, Jules!

Juleka: [giggles]

Then, she placed her hands on his shoulders!

Juleka: Let's seal the deal, babe. [kisses him on the lips]

Ash: [kisses back passionately]

Alya: I can't get enough of this!

Marinette: [giddy; squeals] Neither can I! They were so made for each other!

Popplio: [agreeing] POP!

Then, they separated with love-stricken expressions on their faces!

Ash: Love you, my beautiful gothic angel.

Juleka: Love you too, my handsome sweet potato.

Then, she caressed his cheek!

Ash: [grins cheekily; scoops Juleka up bridal style]

Juleka: [gasps; blushes]

Ash: How do you like this, Jules?

Juleka: You're so sneaky.

Ash: [giggles] Guilty as charged! You at least comfy?

Juleka nodded and nuzzled up against him!

Ash: [giggles]

Pikachu: [happy] PIKACHU!

Juleka: You feel so warm, hun.

Ash: Yeah! I guess so! Come on! Let's go get lunch!

Juleka: [nods] Hm.

Ash headed into the cafeteria while holding Juleka, with Marinette and Alya following! Meanwhile, with Goh and Chloe, they were on their way to the school!

Goh: Shouldn't be too far now!

Grookey: [excited] GROOKEY KEY GROO!

Chloe: Those girls said it was right across the street from a bakery!

Goh: [points] There's a bakery up ahead!

Chloe: And that means that building next door must be the school!

Goh: Awesome! Can't wait to see Ash! [with a smug look on his face] And he told me that he has himself a girlfriend.

Chloe: Huh?

Eevee: VEE?

Goh: You'll see!

It was currently a free period and Ash was in the courtyard! Ash was using this opportunity to use the sketchbook he purchased on the fly to make a portrait of Juleka!

Ash: [drawing; humming]

Pikachu: [watching] PIKACHU!

Juleka: [posing cutely]

Rockruff: [watching] ROCKRUFF!

Ash: [blushes] L-Looking good, Jules!

Juleka: Thanks, babe.

Ash: [putting in the final touches] And… There! Perfect! It's ready, Jules! Come and see!

Juleka came over to Ash and couldn't believe what she was seeing! Ash had drawn Juleka exactly right! No mistakes or anything! He even took the liberty of putting in a few hearts and flowers!

Ash: Whaddya think, Jules? Do you like it?

Juleka: [nods] Yes.

Ash: I'm glad you do, Jules! [grins] You were my inspiration!

Juleka: [coos as she hugs more]

Ash: Aww! [hugs her back]

Then...

Goh: Well, Mr. Casanova! Having a good old time, I see?

Ash: [hears him; gasps in shock] No way! GOH?!

Pikachu: [shocked] PIKA?!

Goh: Actually, Goh [reveals Chloe] plus one!

Ash: Chloe?!

Pikachu: PIKA?!

Chloe: Uh... Yeah! Hi, Ash!

Ash: [excited] I can't believe you guys are here! But how?!

Goh: Through a portal! It was in the same lake you suddenly vanished at!

Ash: [excited] No way! Awesome!

Pikachu: [excited] PIKA PIKA!

Juleka: Uh... Babe?

Ash: Oh, Jules, I'm so sorry! [to Goh and Chloe] You guys, I'd like you to meet my super awesome and beautiful girlfriend, [wraps an arm around her] Juleka Couffaine!

Juleka: [mumbles] Nice to meet you, I guess.

Rockruff: [greeting] ROCKRUFF!

Goh: Whoa! A Rockruff! [pulls out his Rotom Phone]

Goh's Rotom Phone: Rockruff, the Puppy Pokémon. A Rock-type. This Pokémon can bond very strongly with its Trainer, but it also has a habit of biting. Raising a Rockruff for a long time can be challenging.

Goh: Wow! I didn't know you had a Pokémon partner!

Ash: Easy, Goh! Don't crowd her too much! She's a little shy sometimes! And she has a bit of a speech impediment because of it. [wraps an arm around her] But I don't mind it! Anyway, you'd be surprised at some other friends of mine who have Pokémon partners!

Goh: Really? Like who?

As he asked that, Marinette, Adrien, Alya, Nino, Rose, Alix and Mylène came over!

Marinette: Hey, Ash! What's all the commotion?

Ash: Hey, you guys! Perfect timing! I'd like you all to meet my friends, Goh and Chloe!

Goh: Hi!

Chloe: Hello!

Marinette: Oh! So you're Goh? Ash has told us a bit about you! All good things of course!

Goh: I'm sure he has! Hey, I remember you! You're Marinette! Ash introduced me to you on video chat when he first came to Paris!

Marinette: Yep! That's me!

Ash: And here's a few other friends of mine! This is Adrien, Alya, Nino, Rose, Mylène and Alix!

Alya: Hey there!

Nino: Waddup, dudes!

Mylène: Hello!

Rose: Hi! So nice to meet you two!

Adrien: Hi! Welcome to Paris!

Alix: 'Sup! [to Goh] You look pretty cool in person better than in a photo!

Goh: [smiles] Hey, thanks! You've seen a picture of me?

Alix: Yeah! Ashy Boy here showed me a photo from when you him went to the Alola Region!

Goh: Huh. Good to know!

Scorbunny: [by Alix's side] SCORBUN!

Goh: [exclaims in shock] You have a Scorbunny?!

Alix: Oh yeah! My little Bun Bun pal!

Scorbunny: [jumps onto her shoulder; places its paws on its hips in pride] SCOR SCOR NEEBUN!

Goh: Wow! That's pretty cool! You know, I happen [pulls out a PokéBall] to have its final evolved form!

Alix: Really?

Goh: Yeah! Take a look! [tosses it] Go!

Cinderace: [appearing] CINDERACE!

Goh: May I introduce Cinderace!

Cinderace: [greeting] CINDE!

Scorbunny: [in awe; eyes sparkling] SCORBUN!

Alix: Whoa! Now that's a big Bun Bun! So awesome!

Cinderace: [happy] CINDERACE!

Alya: I'll say!

Nino: Way past cool!

Goh: Yep! Cinderace here was the first Pokémon I ever caught!

But then, Grookey was up to its old tricks again! It leapt from head to head of each of the Parisian gang and it swiped Nino and Alix's hats! It put Alix's hat on Eevee's head and Nino's on its own head!

Grookey: [cheerful] GROOKEY KEY KEY KEY!

Eevee: EEVEE?

Goh: Grookey! Those aren't your hats! [to Alix and Nino] Sorry about that! Grookey's really playful!

Alix: Eh, it's cool! Cute little guy though!

Rose: [pulls out a banana she had from lunch] Here, Grookey! Wanna have a banana?

Alya: Yeah! You must be lucky to have an Eevee as your partner!

Chloe: Uh... Yeah!

Marinette: Yep! My baby girl!

Marinette: Chloé Bourgeois. She's the meanest, nastiest and snobbiest girl in all of Paris.

Popplio: [hugs Marinette's leg; agreeing] POP POP.

Chloé: I asked a question! I deserve an answer!

Ash: [annoyed] If you must know, Chloé, these are my friends Goh and Chloe from the Pokémon World!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Ash: And unlike you, Chloe Cerise is a lot nicer than you could ever be! Oh wait. That's right! You can't be nice! You don't know the meaning of that word! And your heart is made of stone!

Chloé: [gasps offendedly] How dare you!

Chloe: [shocked] Wait a minute! She has the same name as me?!

Eevee: [tilts her head] VEE?

Alya: In a way! But the "e" in her name is more fancy!

Chloe: [sweat drops] Just when things couldn't get more unexpected.

Popplio: [agreeing] POPPLIO!

Chloé: Nobody asked you, Dupain-Cheng! I'll have a conniption if I want to! [looks at Cinderace] Oh joy. Another cotton-tailed fluffball.

Cinderace: [angry; with a red vein mark] CINDERACE!

Goh: Hey! That's my first Pokémon partner you're insulting!

Ash: Yeah! They've been through thick and thin together! [looks at the others] But in the past, Goh wanted his first Pokémon to be the Mythical Pokémon, Mew! A Pokémon said to have all the genes of the many Pokémon in the world!

Goh: It's true!

Nino: Whoa! That sounds awesome!

Alya: No kidding! A Mythical Pokémon!

Ash: Yeah! In fact, he made it his goal to try and catch Mew! That is, until he met Cinderace as a Scorbunny! That's when his goal changed!

Goh: Yeah! Now my goal is catch one of every kind of Pokémon to work my way up to Mew!

Alya: One of every kind of Pokémon?!

Mylène: That sounds impossible!

Goh: Maybe! [holds out his hand] But my future lies in the [clenches it to a fist] palm of my hand!

Marinette: Well, if you think you can do the impossible, then we'll be rooting for you [as everyone nods in agreement] all the way!

Goh: Thanks, you guys! You guys really are good friends!

But unlike the others...

Chloé: Oh, puh-lease! That's ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!

Goh: [angry] Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!

Chloé: "Your future lies in the palm of your hand"! That's just a lot of nonsense! And you wanting to catch one of every kind of Pokémon when there are about 900 different species of them! You'll never accomplish that goal! I wouldn't even be surprised if this Mew would rather avoid you rather than have you stalk it around in order for you to catch it!

Goh: [angry] That's not true! I personally met Mew when I was just a little kid!

Chloé: Now that's just rich! You encountered it as a little kid! If that's true, where's your proof? Oh that's right! You don't have any! Just goes to show that this Mew is not the right Pokémon for you and you are not the right human for it!

Goh: [growls angrily]

Ash: That's enough, Chloé! Don't you have nails that need painting?

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Chloé: Hmph. Whatever! [leaves] Come, Sabrina!

Sabrina did so, but not before looking at Ash one more time!

Sabrina: I'm sorry, Ash. [leaves]

Ash: That Chloé! Always picking on the first person she sees!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Goh: Not right for me, huh?! Utterly ridiculous, huh?!

Ash: Goh?

Goh: Not now, Ash. [walks away]

Ash: Goh, wait!

Pikachu: [worried] PIKA PIKA!

Goh: [looks back] I need some alone time. Watch over Cinderace and Grookey, will you?

Alix: I'll watch them for you!

Goh: Huh? Are you sure?

Alix: Sure! After all, Cinderace seems to have a fan!

Scorbunny: [staring at Cinderace; eyes sparking in awe] SCORBUN...

Cinderace: [pleased] CINDERACE!

Alix: [sees Rose is cuddling Grookey] And Grookey seems to have one, too!

Grookey: [happy] GROOKEY!

Rose: Oh, you're so cute!

Grookey: [happy] GROOKEY KEY!

Goh: Alright then. [leaves] See you guys later.

Ash: [in his head] Poor Goh. I hope Hawk Moth doesn't sense Goh's anger.

But unfortunately, he did, as the window of his lair opened making butterflies flutter in his lair!

Hawk Moth: A young man who's new to Paris and has a goal that everyone thinks is impossible to accomplish! Well, I can help him accomplish that goal! [holds out his hand] Won't we [a butterfly lands on his hand, my little Akuma? [turns the butterfly into an Akuma] Fly away, my little Akuma, and evilize him!

The Akuma then took off into the city!

Hawk Moth: Now, prior to my next victim, what can you three tell me about him?

Jessie: Hmm, when you said "impossible goal", that does ring a bell.

James: Quite so.

Meowth: [holds a paw up] Bingo! It must be one of the twoip's friends back from our world!

Hawk Moth: So. He's friends with the boy! Perfect! [laughs evilly]

Goh arrived at the park and was sitting on a bench while holding a PokéBall, thinking about what Chloé had said to him!

Goh: [angry] "Stalking a Mythical Pokémon", she says! "Not right for me", she says! Well, I'll show her! I'll show her that I can make the impossible possible!

The Akuma reached him as it flew into the PokéBall, darkening it, as a light mask appeared on his face!

Goh: [gasps]

Hawk Moth: Hunter! I am Hawk Moth! You're sick and tired of the people who brush off your lifelong dream. I'm giving you the power to catch any Pokémon in existence, even if they're under ownership of someone else! Not only that, but you'll be able to capture people, too! But in return, you must give me Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous!

Goh: [with a sinister grin] Consider it done, Hawk Moth.

Then, he began to transform! Goh was now wearing a black, orange and olive green ragged outfit with a spiky sash over his chest! He also wore a hunter's safari hat and a red targeting monocle! And he wore black shoulder armor with silver spikes and a jungle green mask over his mouth! Back at the school, the others were getting to know Cinderace, Grookey and Eevee!

Max: Remarkable!

Eevee saw Marinette having Popplio laying in her lap and stroking her head! This got Eevee thinking of copying Popplio!

Eevee: [happily gasps] VEE VEE!

Then, it put its plan into action!

Popplio: [happy] POP POP!

Then, Eevee climbed up next to Marinette and laid its head on the other half of Marinette's lap!

Eevee: [affectionate] EEVEE!

Marinette: Aww. You want head rubs too, Eevee?

Eevee: [nods affirmatively] VEE!

Marinette: [rubs Eevee's head as well] Okay!

Eevee: [happy] VEE!

Alya: Uh... Explain that?

Chloe: [giggles] My Eevee tends to copy other Pokémon quite often!

Alya: Ah.

Popplio: [pouts; jealous] POP POP!

Marinette: [rubs Popplio's head]

Popplio: [happy] POPPLIO!

Marinette: You know I could never forget you, Popplio!

Popplio: [smiles] POP POP!

Chloe: By the way, Marinette. How did you get Popplio anyway?

Marinette: Oh, it hatched from an egg that I got from Ash as a present!

Chloe: [smiles] That must be why you call it your baby girl!

Then, Chloe pulled out her Rotom Phone!

Chloe's Rotom Phone: Popplio, the Sea Lion Pokémon. A Water-type. If Popplio wants to create big, powerful balloons, they must be persistent. It takes daily practice for these Pokémon to develop their skills.

Chloe: That's pretty cool!

Popplio: [happily claps] POP POP POP POP!

Chloe: And it is pretty cute! [rubs Popplio's head] Oh, yes you are!

Popplio: [happy] POP!

Marinette: Popplio, I hope you can learn to be great friends with Chloe's Eevee!

Popplio: [complying] POP!

Rose: [admiring her school uniform] Your dress is so pretty, Chloe!

Chloe: Oh. This? It's just my school uniform for in Vermillion City back home!

Marinette: Uniform or not, it suits you perfectly!

Chloe's Rotom Phone: Litten, the Fire Cat Pokémon. A Fire-type. It spends even the smallest amount of downtime grooming its fur with its tongue. Loose fur gathers in its stomach and serves as fuel for fiery moves.

Adrien: Yeah! And my father got me a beige 69-in cat tree for Litten!

Chloe: Really? Wow!

Ash: Yeah! You could say Adrien's father, Gabriel Agreste, is pretty rich!

Marinette: It's true! He's the most famous and prestige fashion designer in all of Paris!

Chloe: Really? And I always thought doing fashion designing was meant for females!

Ash: Not only that, Adrien is a model for all his campaigns!

Chloe: Really?

Adrien: [chuckles; rubs his neck sheepishly] It's true!

Chloe: Wow! And here Goh and I thought Ash was the only famous person here in Paris! Speaking of him, I hope he's doing okay!

Alix: I'm sure he'll be fine! What could happen?

Ash: He'd end up being Hawk Moth's newest victim!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!

Chloe: Who?

Ash: Long story! Trust me! [glares at Chloé] It would be your fault!

Chloé: Hmph.

Ash: [facepalms; growls]

Chloé: [to Chloe] Oh, and wannabe me? If you want to be as [flips her ponytail] fabulous as moi, I suggest you get yourself a more stylish outfit, put on some makeup, and dye your hair blonde. [Sabrina nods] And maybe you might just be as pretty as me.

Chloe: [sweat drops; sarcastic] Gee, thanks so much. I'll keep that in mind. [turns to Juleka; smiles] So, Juleka, Ash told me you were his girlfriend. Is that true?

Juleka: [nods]

Then, she placed her hand on his!

Juleka: Ash is so awesome.

Then, she caressed his cheek!

Ash: [blushes; smiles] Aww, Juleka.

Chloe: That's sweet! [sternly] I hope you've been being an absolute gentleman to her, Ash!

Ash: Of course I have! Though, you should see when Juleka is in her alter ego, AKA Reflekta!

Pikachu: [sweat drops] PIKACHU.

Chloe: [concerned] Should I know what she's like in her alter ego?

Juleka: [blushes in embarrassment and covers her face; moans]

Ash: [frantic] Oh. Sorry, Jules. [guilty] I forgot you didn't want me to speak about it. [bangs his fist against his head] Me and my big mouth!

Ash: [guilty] No it's not.

Juleka: It just slipped out. I don't mind really. [puts her hand on Ash's hand] Ashy, look at me.

Ash: [looks at her] Hm?

Juleka: [kisses him on the lips]

Ash: [surprised] MMPH! [kisses back passionately]

Pikachu: [awed] PIKACHU!

Rockruff: [jumps up and down happily] RUFF! RUFF! ROCKRUFF!

Chloe: [gasps in surprise]

Then, they released!

Ash: [smiles] Jules, what did I do to deserve such an amazing girl like you?

Juleka: By being yourself. [hugs him as they pressed cheek-to-cheek]

Ash: [blushes; giggles]

Pikachu: [happy] PIKACHU!

Rockruff: [jumps in Juleka's lap; wags his tail] RUFF RUFF!

Juleka: [giggles and rubs its head]

Rockruff: [happily rubs its rocks against her] ROCKRUFF RUFF RUFF RUFF!

Juleka: [giggles]

Chloe: And Rockruff must be yours, right?

Juleka: [holds Rockruff] It sure is. [kisses Rockruff on the nose; cuddles him] He's my good boy.

Rockruff: [happy; proud] RUFF RUFF!

Scorbunny was currently getting buddy-buddy with Cinderace!

Scorbunny: [happy] SCOR! SCORBUN!

Cinderace: [pats its head; smiles] CINDERACE!

Alix: You wanna be really cool like Cinderace! I can tell!

Scorbunny: [affirmative] SCOR!

Ash: You must be glad to have made a new little buddy, huh, Cinderace?

Cinderace: [nods happily] CINDERACE!

Alix: Your owner's a really cool guy, Cinderace! [sighs] I feel pretty bad that he's in a funk right now.

Ash: [glares at Chloé] And it's all the fault of the snobbiest and brattiest girl in all of Paris! I wouldn't be surprised if Hawk Moth would've akumatized him because of her! That's all she's capable of doing around here!

Chloe: Who is Hawk Moth anyway?

Marinette: He's the main villain here in Paris! He sends out black butterflies known as Akumas into the city whenever he senses negative emotions and turns his victims into supervillains!

Chloe: [gasps] You mean this city has a villain who turns innocent people into supervillains using evil butterflies?!

Ash: It's true! Whenever someone is feeling really sad, angry, scared, you name it!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Ash: Most of the time, [glares at Chloé the Snob] a certain someone causes these messes! [looks back at his Chloe] But thankfully, I, along with Ladybug and Cat Noir, the superheroes of Creation and Destruction, we defeat the villains, save the victims and restore everything to the way it was!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI! PIKACHU!

Chloe: Wow!

Then, there was trouble!

Ash's Rotom Phone: [alarm sounding] Akuma Alert! Akuma Alert!

Ash: [gasps] Oh no! An Akuma Alert!

Chloe: A what?

Eevee: VEE?

Ash: That means there's an akumatized villain on the loose!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Ash: Rotom, identify!

But before he could, a now akumatized Goh had dropped in!

[students gasp and comment]

Hunter: [Australian accent] G'day, mates! [pulls out a Dark Ball] Or should I call you, my trophies?!

Ash: [gasps] Wait a minute. That voice! It couldn't be…

Hunter: [chuckles cunningly; Australian accent] But it could be, my best friend! And it is! I got a new style, thanks to Hawk Moth, and [spinning a Dark Ball on his finger] a few new toys that'll make me the greatest catcher of all time! [targets Chloé with his monocle] And my first trophy will be the [tosses the Dark Ball] brat!

Chloé: [gasps]

Kim: [stands in front of her] Don't worry, Chloé! I'll protect you!

But Kim ended up getting caught in the Dark Ball!

Marinette: [gasps in horror] No! Kim!

Adrien: What've you done with him?!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Made him a trophy with my Dark Ball! And the snob's next! In fact, you're all next!

Rose: [gasps in fear]

Ash: Hurry, you guys! Run!

Everyone didn't need to be told twice and ran for it, but Ash made a beeline right over to Juleka and grabbed her hand!

Ash: Let's go!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Then, he pulled Juleka along!

Hunter: [Australian accent; takes out a chain grappling gun] You're not going anywh-

Rockruff: [growls; Rock Throw move] RRRRRRRRUFF!

Hunter [Australian accent; hit] Guh!

Rockruff: [runs after Juleka and Ash] ROCK!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Why you little pest!

Everyone managed to find a place to hide safely for the time being! Which was in the boiler room!

Ash: Okay! You guys stay here and out of sight! Marinette and I will try to talk some sense into Goh! Even though I think we should just give him Chloé the Snob since this was her fault.

Chloé: I'm right here!

Ash: [ignores her] And Adrien, you... [sees Adrien's not here] Adrien? Where's Adrien?

Pikachu: [looking for Adrien] PIKACHU?

But Adrien and Litten had actually gone into the boy's bathroom so Adrien could transform! Then, he let Plagg out of his jacket!

Adrien: Goh needs our help! I just hope we could save him without hurting him severely!

Plagg: Well, like Ash usually says, where there's a will, there's always a way!

Adrien: True! But now, we gotta go to work!

[Transformation Sequence]

Adrien: Plagg, claws out!

Plagg: [gets sucked into the ring] Whoa! [babbles]

Then, Adrien transformed into Cat Noir!

Litten: [smiles and nods approvingly] LITTEN!

Cat Noir: [pulls out Litten's PokéBall] Time for me to save the day with Ladybug, Litten! [returns Litten] Return!

Then, he rushed out of the bathroom! Hunter was still trying to find the group!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Come out, come out, wherever you are!

Cat Noir: [standing on the railing] Little lost, are we?

Hunter: [Australian accent; looks up] Huh?

Cat Noir: Isn't it a bit early for "Hunting Season"?

Hunter: [Australian accent] I think right now is the perfect time for "Huntin' Season", furball! [pulls out a Dark Ball] And I'm declaring this kind of huntin' season as "Black Cat Huntin' Season"! And you'd make a fine [tosses the Dark Ball] trophy!

Cat Noir: [ducks] Whoop! Looks like you need better aim!

Back with the others, Grookey and Cinderace were very worried about their Trainer!

Grookey: [worried] GROOKEY...

Cinderace: [worried] CINDER...

Ash: Don't worry, you two! I promise we'll save Goh!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI! PIKACHU!

Alix: I wanna help too!

Ash: Huh?

Alix: I don't wanna stand by and watch all helpless! I wanna help save Goh!

Alya: Eager much?

Ash: Uh... [brings Alix off to the side] Could you excuse us? [whispers distinctively to Alix] Is this all because you have a crush on Goh ever since I showed you his picture?

Pikachu: [curious] PIKACHU?

Alix: [whispers distinctively; blushes] How'd you-

Ash: [whispers distinctively] I can read you like a book. Don't worry, I can keep this secret, but you'll have to tell Goh all by yourself once I help Ladybug and Cat Noir save him and put you two alone together.

Scorbunny: [gasps] SCORBUN.

Alix: [whispers distinctively] What?! No no no no no no no no no no. You can't leave me alone with him so soon.

Ash: [whispers distinctively] If you're gonna help us, that's the deal. Got it?

Alix: [sighs; whispers distinctively] Okay, fine. Only because I wanna help save him.

Ash: [nods] Hm.

Pikachu: [determined] PIKACHU!

Scorbunny: [determined] SCORBUNNY!

Ash: Now, Alya! Juleka! You and the others stay here and keep everyone safe while Marinette, Alix and I go and save Goh! And don't come out until I say! And that means no recording!

Juleka nodded and gave Ash a hug!

Juleka: Be careful, babe.

Ash: Don't worry, Jules! [holds both of her hands; smiles] My top priority is keeping the girl I love most safe!

Juleka: [nods] Mm.

Then, they kissed on the lips!

Juleka: Good luck, hun.

Ash: I don't need luck! I've got this!

Mylène: Hold on, what about Cinderace and Grookey? The poor things are worried sick about Goh!

Ash: No problem! They can help save Goh alongside us!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!

Cinderace: [nods; determined] CINDERACE!

Grookey: [wants to help too] GROOKEY!

Ash: Come on, Marinette! Let's go!

Marinette: Right behind you!

Chloe: Hold on! Shouldn't we wait for Ladybug and Cat Noir?

Ash: Well, our main goal right now is to make sure you guys are safe! Don't leave until I give the signal on your phones!

Then, Ash, Marinette and Alix left with the Pokémon in tow!

Chloe: [to Chloé; angry] Why did you have to be so rude to Goh?!

Eevee: [angry] EEVEE!

Alya: I don't see why we shouldn't give Hunter what he wants?!

Ivan: Yeah!

Chloé: [to Chloe] What you don't know, Wannabe Me, is that sometimes the truth can hurt!

Cat Noir: [spinning his staff to deflect the attack] Hasn't anyone told you that guns aren't allowed in a school?! You'll be getting more than a detention!

Hunter: [Australian accent] I'd like to see you try, tiger! Because I think you'd look good as a fur coat or a fur rug!

Cat Noir: Careful! This kitty's got claws!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Which will make fine little accessories!

Then, Cat Noir charged in while the Hunter took out a metal spear! Then, they clashed with each other!

Ash: Cat Noir can't hold him off alone for long!

Alix: But, what can we do?

Ash: All you gotta do is place it on your chest and say the name of the plate and "activate"!

Alix: Got it!

[Transformation Sequence]

Alix: Flame Plate, [places it on her chest] activate!

Then, Alix's clothes gained a red and orange color scheme, and she had flame decals and a fire symbol appeared on her hat! Then, when the transformation was complete, she posed as she was activating the Fire-type Z-Move!

Scorbunny: [awed; eyes sparkle] SCORBUN!

Ash: Looking good, Alix! You'd definitely would be too hot to handle!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!

Alix: Yeah! Though, I thought it would change my hair up too! Man, I look so [lights her hands ablaze] AWESOME!

She became surprised when she suddenly lit her hands on fire!

[Transformation Sequence]

Then, his clothes gained a yellow color scheme, with lightning bolt decals, and lightning bolt symbol appeared on his cap! When the transformation was complete, he posed as he was activating the Electric-type Z-Move!

Ash: Things are gonna get shocking!

Alix: Aw yeah! Awesome!

Ash: Whaddya say we go save your soon-to-be boyfriend?

Alix: Yeah! [sees that Marinette isn't with them] Hey, where'd Marinette go?

Ash: [irks] Uh, she probably went to hide elsewhere! [crosses his fingers behind his back]

The said baker girl was hiding in the girls' bathroom to transform into Ladybug, as she let Tikki out of her jacket!

Marinette: Time for us to save Goh!

Tikki: I just hope Ash doesn't have to stand down again! First his girlfriend, and now one of his good friends!

Marinette: Let's just hope he'll have a plan!

[Transformation Sequence]

Marinette: Tikki, spots on! Yeah!

Then, Marinette transformed into Ladybug!

Popplio: [awed] POP POP POP!

Ladybug: Alright, Popplio! [pulls out Popplio's PokéBall] Momma's gotta go to work! [returns Popplio] Return!

Once she returned Popplio, she rushed out the door!

["Who's That Pokémon?" time]

[as a magnifying glass shows leaves and twig on a green head with Pikachu standing with a PokéBall]

Ash: Who's that Pokémon?

Meanwhile Cat Noir was still going toe-to-toe with Hunter!

Cat Noir: [spinning his staff] Come on! You're not even trying!

Hunter: [Austrailian accent] Oh yeah?! We'll see who's laughing when I take your Miraculous and make you my trophy! [fires from his chain gun]

But Cat Noir spun his staff to deflect it, protecting himself! But then, a lightning bolt and a fireball hit Hunter in the behind!

Hunter: [Austrailian accent] WOWCH!

Cat Noir: Well, that was a "shockingly burning" discovery!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Alright! Who's the wise guy?!

Ash: [leaps down with his Alix; hands sparking with electricity] "Shocked" to see us, Goh?

Alix: Because you seem a little [hand flares up] "burnt" out!

Hunter: [Australian accent] That's Hunter to you, ya wallies! And I think you two [pulls out two Dark Balls] will make fine [tosses them] trophies!

But Ash and Alix blasted them away with their electric and fire powers!

Ash: Sorry, Goh! But you gotta do better than that to try and catch us!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Good thing [pulls out two more Dark Balls] I don't miss, a second [tosses them] time!

This time, they were knocked away by an incoming ladybug patterned yo-yo!

Hunter: [Australian accent] What?! I missed again?!

Ash: That could only mean one thing!

Then, Ladybug leapt down!

Ash: Knew it!

Ladybug: You're a few seasons away from hunting season, Elmer Fudd!

Cat Noir: From down under!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Again! That's Hunter to you! And we can't have you interfering! Now that the red waterbug and the black rat are together, I think I'm declarin' right now [pulls out some Dark Balls] "Miraculous Season"!

Ladybug: You don't even have a license!

Hunter: [Australian accent] I don't need a license to get what I need for Hawk Moth! And you two would make fine trophies! [tosses the Dark Balls; grunts]

Ash: Pikachu, Thunderbolt!

Pikachu: [Thunderbolt move] PIKACHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

Pikachu's Thunderbolt zapped the Dark Balls until they were charred black and fell to the ground!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Here's the best part of this power! [tosses another Dark Ball]

It hit Pikachu and it got sucked into it!

Ash: [horrified] PIKACHU!

Ladybug: Oh no!

Cat Noir: NO!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Guess you didn't know! I can also capture Pokémon too whether they're in possession or not!

Team Rocket was delighted by this!

Jessie: Ooh! This is perfect!

James: Pikachu's now gonna be ours!

Meowth: Now, bring in the goods!

Hawk Moth: Yes! Do it, Hunter!

Hunter: [Australian accent] With pleasure!

But as he was reeling in the Dark Ball, Ash grabbed onto it tight!

Hunter: [gasps]

Ash: [struggling] You're not getting Pikachu! [grunts] Not ever!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Persistent little scarab, aren't you? Always knew you were, mate! [taking out his chain rifle] Better put ya on a leash!

Ash: [gasps]

But then, Ladybug pulled his wrist back with her yo-yo!

Ladybug: How about I leash you instead?!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Oi! Let go of me, you little bugger!

Ladybug: You watch that tone or I'll wash your mouth out with soap!

Ash: [holding onto the Dark Ball; grunts in struggling] Can't... let them... get... Pikachu!

Alix: [grabs hold of Ash] Hang on, Ash! I gotcha! [grunts]

Ash: Thanks, Alix! [trying to pry it open] I gotta pry this thing open and fast! [grunts]

Jessie: Hey! No fair!

Meowth: Pull back, Hunter! Pull back!

Hunter: [with a light mask on his face; Australian accent] Don't you blokes think that's what I'm trying to do?!

Ash: I'm not... Letting you... Take my... Pikachu! [breaks the Dark Ball open]

Pikachu: [appearing; shakes itself off] PRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIKA!

Ash: Pikachu!

Pikachu: PI? [happily gasps] PIKA PI! [jumps into his best friend's arms]

Ash: You're safe!

Pikachu: [nuzzles against him] PIKA PIKACHU!

Team Rocket: OH NO!

Hawk Moth: [frustrated] No! That's impossible!

Ladybug: Oh, thank goodness!

Cat Noir: Now THAT'S an iron grip!

Alix: Alright!

Scorbunny: [happy] SCORBUN!

Ash: Now that that's over... [fires a ball of electricity]

Hunter: [dodges; Australian accent] Ha! It'll take more than some measley lightning bolts to shake me, ya mook!

Ash: [growls]

Hunter: [takes out a crossbow; fires it; Australian accent] Crossbow Laser Storm!

Then, he fired multiple lasers! Thankfully, Ladybug and Cat Noir protected them by spinning their weapons!

Cat Noir: [while spinning his staff] A laser crossbow?! I'm jealous! I want one!

Ladybug: [spinning her yo-yo] Now's not the time, Cat Noir! We need to get him out of the school!

Ash: Before he traps anyone else in a Dark Ball! Which I have a hunch that's where his Akuma's hiding! In those Dark Balls! We'll just have to destroy his whole bag!

Alix: Good idea! Only problem is we don't know which one!

Ash: Don't worry! We dealt with this situation before! As I said, we'll have to destroy his entire bag! That's where you come in, Cat Noir!

Cat Noir: [smirks] My thoughts exactly!

Little did they know that a certain snob was trying to sneak away! Which didn't go unnoticed by Hunter!

Ash: [looks] Huh? [irks] Chloé?! You dunderhead! What are you doing?!

Chloé: Staying anywhere but here! [makes a run for it]

Hunter: [Australian accent] You can run, but you can't hide!

Then, Hunter leapt out of the school!

Cat Noir: And there he goes!

Ladybug: We gotta go after him!

Ash: But do we really have to? Couldn't we just let Hunter get what he wants?

Alix: He kinda has a point!

Ladybug: [sternly] Ash!

Ash: What?! It's Chloé's fault my friend, Goh, got akumatized in the first place! Why can't we just let her pay the price for her actions?!

Ladybug kept giving him the look!

Ash: [sighs] I know, I know. It's not what heroes do.

Ladybug: Exactly! We help everyone...

Ash: Even though they're total jerks. Yeah yeah yeah. I know.

Everyone came out when they heard there was no more fighting!

Alya: Is the coast clear?

Ash: Alya!

Ladybug: Hunter just left when Chloé made a run for it!

Nino: Yeah! Chloé just got up and snuck out without us knowing!

Chloe: [groans] Now we've lost sight of Goh!

Juleka came over to make sure her soulmate was okay!

Juleka: Babe.

Ash: Don't worry, Jules! I'm okay!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Ash: We're gonna go after Hunter! You guys stay here! It'll be too dangerous!

Alix: Not me though! I'm coming with!

Ash: Natch!

Cinderace: [worried about Goh] CINDERACE…

Grookey: [crying] GROOKEY!

Ash: Don't worry, guys! We'll save Goh! I promise!

Pikachu: [agreeing determinedly] PIKACHU!

Ladybug: But now we need to find Hunter before Chloé becomes his trophy!

Cat Noir: Only problem is we have no idea where she is!

Ash: [pulls out a PokéBall] Leave that to the bird's eye view! Or rather the "dragon's" eye view! [tosses it] Dragonite, I choose you!

Dragonite: [appearing] BRWAR!

Ash: Dragonite, we need you to search the sky and find Chloé and Hunter! And make sure you don't get caught by Hunter in the process!

Dragonite: [nods in compliance] BRWAR! [takes flight]

Ash: Now, we need ground support! Too bad I don't have Lycanroc!

Pikachu: [disappointed] PIKACHU.

That's when Juleka's Rockruff began to sniff the ground!

Rockruff: [sniffing]

Juleka: Uh, Rockruff?

Nino: What's it doing?

Ash: Oh right! I forgot! Rockruff have a keen sense of smell and can sniff out anything! They're what evolve into Lycanroc!

Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!

Ladybug: That makes complete sense!

Ash: Jules, we're gonna need your help with this too! If you wanna get in on the action?

Juleka was surprised that her boyfriend was asking her to join in the fight!

Ladybug: Ash, have you gone off the deep end?!

Ash: Look, I know you think it's a bad idea, but consider this as her way of showing payback against Hawk Moth for akumatizing her in the first place! Even though our time was fun and pleasurable when she was in that form.

Pikachu: [sweat drops] PIKA PI.

Ash: Plus, look how much Rockruff wants to help by picking up Hunter's scent!

Rockruff: [barks determinedly; wagging its tail] ROCK! ROCKRUFF RUFF!

Ladybug: It does seem keen!

Ash: [to Juleka] It's your choice, Juleka! I won't force you to do something you don't wanna do! Whaddya say?

Juleka: [smiles determindly] Yeah.

Ash: [raises his fist and smiles determinedly] Awesome!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Rose: [hugs Juleka] Please be careful, Juleka! I hate to think of you getting hurt!

Ash: Don't worry, Rose! Juleka's got me to protect her!

Pikachu: [agreeing; pats Rose's shoulder] PIKA PIKA!

Rockruff then picked up the scent!

Rockruff: [barks] RUFF RUFF! ROCKRUFF!

Ash: Looks like Rockruff's picked up the scent!

Juleka: [rubs Rockruff's head] Good boy.

Rockruff: [happy] ROCKRUFF!

Ash: Let's move out, gang!

Our heroes moved out, along with Cinderace and Grookey! Back at Hawk Moth's lair, Team Rocket was not happy!

Jessie: No fair! No fair! No fair!

James: We almost had Pikachu!

Meowth: And that pesky twoip had to interfere!

Jessie: Well, if you want something done right! Do it yourself! Permission to go after them, boss?

Hawk Moth: Hm. [nods] Very well. See to it that you bring me the Miraculous if Hunter is to fail! And do NOT disappoint me!

James: Wouldn't dream the very idea, boss!

Meowth: Away we go!

And with that, they headed out!

Hawk Moth: [through the light mask] Don't forget our deal, Hunter! Once you've claimed your target, you'll do the same with Ladybug and Cat Noir!

Hunter: [Australian accent] I haven't forgotten, Hawk Moth! Imma make those two into fine trophies hanging over your mantle! And those jewels will be your main prize!

Right now, Hunter was still trying to pursue Chloé!

Hunter: [leaping; Australian accent] Can't run forever, little lady!

Chloé: [running; in her head] Where can I hide?

Chloé had reached Ménagerie du Jardin des Plantes, which was Paris's botanical gardens and zoo!

Chloé: Oh, where in here can I hide to shake off that Elmer Fudd referencer?! Why did it have to be the zoo of all places?!

Chloé: [gasps; whimpers nervously]

Chloé then decided to hide behind some bushes! As for our heroes, they were following Juleka's Rockruff, who was leading them to the Jardin des Plantes!

Ash: Where are we?

Alix: It's the Jardin des Plantes!

Ash: Oh yeah! This has the zoo I work at!

Alix: You work at the zoo?

Ash: Sure do! As Chief Animal Tamer!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI! PIKACHU!

Alix just blinked in surprise!

Alix: [to Juleka] You knew about this?

Juleka: [nods]

Alix: Wow. Just wow.

Dragonite: [lands] BRWAR!

Ash: Dragonite!

Alix: Did you find him?

Dragonite: [nods affirmatively] BRWAR! [points near the zoo] BRWAR RWAR!

Ash: He's at the zoo!

Ladybug: Perfect!

Alix: Let's go!

The five heroes made their way to the zoo and arrived in no time.

Ash: Hunter could be anywhere in the zoo!

Alix: I say we split up and find him!

Ash: No! He'll pick us off one by one! We need to stick together!

Alix: Well, I'm open to suggestions!

Ash: I think I may have an idea! [takes off the Zap Plate; powers down; pulls out the Meadow Plate] Time for a power switch!

[Transformation Sequence]

Then, his clothes gained a forest green color scheme, and a leaf symbol appeared on his cap! His skin even turned green and leaves sprouted in Ash's hair and his clothes became bush-like too! When the transformation was complete, he posed like he had completed the pose for the Grass-type Z-Move!

Ash: Whoa! Sweet! Permit me to introduce myself as... Green Thumb Guy! [as Ladybug, Cat Noir and Alix give him disapproving looks] No? Uh... Swamp Thing?

Pikachu: [sweat drops] PIKACHU.

Alix: We're not even near any swamps!

Ash: Well, what about Thornblade?

Ladybug: Good enough for me!

Cat Noir: Not bad! The 'blade' part has a nice ring to it!

Ash: Thanks! [to Juleka] Whaddya think, Jules?

Juleka: A real green thumb guy for sure. You look really cool, babe.

Ash: [giggles] Thanks, Juleka! That reminds me! [opens his backpack; holds it out to her] You're gonna need to power up, too!

Then, Ash took her hand!

Rockruff: [wags its tail determinedly; assuring] ROCK! ROCKRUFF! ROCK!

Then, Juleka suddenly found confidence she never had before!

Juleka: [gains a determined look on her face] You're right. I can do this.

Ash: That's the spirit!

Juleka: Which one do I use?

Ash: [opens his backpack for her] Pick any one you like!

Juleka then dug around and pulled out the Stone Plate!

Ash: That's the Stone Plate! With that, you'll gain the power to manifest rocks! Just like Rockruff!

Rockruff: RUFF!

Juleka: [gasps in awe; smiles]

Ash: You know how to do it?

Juleka: [nods] Hm.

Ash: Go for it!

[Transformation Sequence]

Juleka: Stone Plate, [places it on her chest] activate!

Then, she began to transform! Her turtlenecked, swan-necked dress became brownish beige with a light cyan lined collar and black mesh sleeves. Her brilliant purple ripped leggings with rips above the knees were now cyan and her black high top sneakers became amethyst! Her nails turned into gemstone designs, she gained gemstone shoulder pads, and she even had a few diamonds in her hair!

Ladybug: Oh... My...

Cat Noir: Well, pull my tail and snip my whiskers.

Alix: Nice!

Ash: Looking good, Jules! Good and shimmery and sparkly!

Pikachu: [eyes sparkling in awe] PIKA PIKA!

Rockruff: [eyes sparkling in awe] ROCKRUFF!

Juleka looked at herself all over! She was skeptical at first! But upon further observation, she was now liking it a lot!

Ash: You were super pretty to begin with, Jules! But now you're even more beautiful than before! And more radiant too!

Juleka couldn't help but smile and blush!

Ladybug: You really look like a jewel now!

Cat Noir: You're quite the little "gem" now!

Alix: Boooooooo.

Ash: Now, ready to be a hero, Jules?

Juleka: [nods determinedly] Mhm. [grabs his hand] I'm ready.

Cat Noir: Now you two are a true power couple! [looks at Ladybug and moves closer to her; flirtingly] Just like me and Bugaboo here!

Alix: [pulls on Cat Noir's ear] Associates like you shouldn't mingle with our Buga-Boss!

Ash: Let's see what the Meadow Plate can do!

Then, Ash raised his hands towards the air and the roots from the flowers, plants and trees started rising up from the ground!

Ash: [gasps in shock] Wow! Would you look at that!

Pikachu: [shocked] PIKA!

Ladybug: You're in control of nature! Incredible!

Cat Noir: I guess I'm now "green with envy"!

Alix: Boooooooooo.

Ash: Looks like I really am one with nature!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!

Alix: Okay, so what's the plan?

Ash: I think I may have an idea! [as they huddled] Now, gather round and listen to this! [whispers the plan]

The Hunter was currently searching through the animal habitats for Chloé!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Come out, come out, wherever you are!

Otis: [sees what's going on; angry] Hey! What do you think you're doing?! You're under no circumstance to be intruding in the animals' enclosures!

Hunter: [Australian accent] I don't take orders from you, mate! Now, [tosses a Dark Ball] be quiet!

Otis: What's this?! [hit by the Dark Ball; grunts in pain]

The zookeeper was hit and trapped inside!

Hunter: [Australian accent; as the Dark Ball returns to him] Now with that nuisance out of the way, back to finding the brat!

Chloé: [hiding in the bushes; whimpers]

Hunter: [Australian accent; while moving on] Here, bratty bratty bratty. Just give yourself up and it will all be over.

"Chloé": Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!

Hunter: [hears this; smirks; Australian accent] Oh really?! I got you now!

Chloé: Huh? [peeks through the bushes; quietly] That wasn't me. Who said that?

Little did they know that it was a recording from Ash's Rotom Phone! The Hunter had taken the bait!

Hunter: [takes out crossbow and Dark Ball; Australian accent] I've got you now, you little sheila!

Hunter then started to approach the area the sound came from!

Ash: [sneaking around behind the bushes; gets to Chloé; whispers] Psst. Chloé.

Pikachu: [whispers] PIKA PIKA.

Chloé: [looks; whispers] Ash?

Ash: [whispers] We're here to save you. I took a voice recording of you using my Rotom Phone and used it to trick him into thinking that's actually you talking.

Chloé: [whispers] You did?

Ash: [whispers] Yep.

Chloé: [whispers] And you're really gonna save me?

Ash: [whispers] Of course I am. I'm a hero. And heroes help everyone even if they're mean and rotten to others.

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI PIKACHU.

This made Chloé put on a small smile! But then, she saw his foresty look!

Chloé: Uh...

Ash: [whispers] I'll explain later. [scoops Chloé up, bridal style] Right now, we need to get you to safety.

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI.

This made Chloé tint a blush from this as Ash snuck off with her.

Hunter: [Australian accent] Show yourself, bratty girl!

"Chloé": Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Aha! Found you!

But when Hunter moved some bushes...

Ash's Rotom Phone: [Chloé recording] "Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!"

Hunter: [Australian accent] What?! A recording of her voice?!

Then, vines started sprouting up and wrapped up Hunter!

Hunter: [Australian accent; gasps] Where did these come from?!

Pikachu: [cheeks sparking wildly] PIKACHU!

Ladybug: Listen! Is that akumatized villain talk I hear!

Cat Noir: It meows to me loud and clear!

Ladybug: On the wind!

Cat Noir: Past the stars!

Ash: And proud of it! Now, you're gonna surrender yourself and let us capture your Akuma!

Juleka: [uses her rock powers; grunts]

This created a shield around our heroes to protect themselves!

Alix: No hard feelings, big guy! [launches a fireball at him]

Hunter: [slices it with his carving knife]

The Hunter began to fire arrows!

Juleka: [grunts; creates a stone wall shield]

This blocked the arrows!

Hunter: [Australian accent] You can't hide behind there forever you know!

Ash: He's right! I think it's time for some patented good luck!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Ladybug: Right!

[Superpower Sequence]

Ladybug: [activates her superpower] Lucky Charm!

The Lucky Charm she summoned was apparently a boomerang, as it fell into her hands!

Cat Noir: Fancy a game of catch with it? You won't lose it though! They always come back!

Ash: We need a plan!

Ladybug: I do! But we need to try and distract him!

Ash: Say no more! Distractions are my specialty! [looks at the fourth wall] Next to Pokémon battling of course!

Ladybug: [to Cinderace and Grookey] Time for you to help save your trainer, you two!

Cinderace: [determined] CINDERACE!

Grookey: [determined] GROOKEY KEY!

Our heroes sprang into action!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Glad to see you lot are ready to become my trophies!

Cinderace: [telling him he has to stop] CINDER CINDERACE!

Grookey: [agreeing] GROOKEY GROOKEY KEY!

Hunter: [Australian accent; gasps] Cinderace?! Grookey?!

Ash: You wouldn't want to harm your own two Pokémon friends, would you, Goh?

Hunter: [attempts to throw a Dark Ball but stops himself; grunts] Be quiet!

Ash: You need to understand, Goh! Hawk Moth and Team Rocket are the enemies! Not me or anyone else!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!

Hawk Moth: [through the light mask] Don't listen to him! He's trying to trick you! They helped the person who mocked you escape!

Hunter: [Australian accent] He did what?! [growls] You traitor!

Ash: T-Trust me, I wasn't too thrilled about saving her hide either, but I had no other choice! It was the right thing to do! You've gotta understand!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Oh, I understand alright! I understand that you would choose that brat over your best friend! And now, you will suffer! [tossing Dark Balls; yells]

Ash: Uh oh!

Cat Noir: Incoming!

Ash: Quick, Cinderace! Do a Pyro Ball barrage!

Cinderace: [nods reluctantly] CINDER! [Pyro Ball move] CIN...DE...RACE!

The Pyro Balls hit each of the Dark Balls!

Hunter: [gasps in shock]

Scorbunny: [eyes sparkle in awe] SCORBUN BUN!

Ash: Alright, guys! Launch the hero pack attack!

Then, the heroes went in on the attack!

Hunter: [fires from his crossbow]

Juleka created a stone shield to block the arrows!

Alix: [fires fireballs]

Hunter: [hit; grunts in pain]

Ash: [using his plant powers to manifest tree leaves] Here's my version of a [fires a shroud of leaves] Leaf Storm!

The Hunter was hit by the barrage of leaves! Some of them even ended up in his mouth!

Hunter: [coughing]

Cat Noir: [jokingly] What's wrong? That left a bad taste in your mouth?

Ash: No taunting, Cat!

Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Why you insolent whelp! I'll fix the lot o' ya! [draws out his chain rifle gun and fires it]

Cat Noir was wrapped in the black and orange chains!

Cat Noir: [yelps]

Then, he began to spin Cat Noir around!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Enjoy your ride!

Cat Noir: [yells while being spun] Make it stop!

Ash: Cat Noir!

Juleka created a stone axe and cut the chain!

Ash: Nice one, Jules!

Pikachu: [gives her a thumbs up] PIKA PIKACHU!

Ash: [in his head] Any time now, Ladybug.

Ladybug managed to acquire the bottle of soap and began to mix it in with the bucket of mop water.

Ladybug: Perfect.

Alix: [to Scorbunny] You ready for this, little guy?

Scorbunny: [nods determinedly] SCORBUN!

Alix: Then, let's use Quick Attack!

Scorbunny: [Quick Attack move] SCOR SCOR SCOR SCOR SCOR SCOR SCORBUNNY!

Hunter: [grunts in pain]

Juleka: Rockruff, use Rock Throw!

Rockruff: [Rock Throw move] RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRUFF!

Hunter: [hit; grunts in pain] Ow ow ow!

Ash: [in his head] What's keeping you, Ladybug? We can't hold him off forever.

Hunter: [smirks] You lose, mate! [tosses a fast Dark Ball] HA!

Ash: [gasps]

Juleka saw that her boyfriend was about to be captured, much to her horror!

Juleka: Ash, [jumps in to save him] NO!

Juleka shielded Ash as the Dark Ball was coming in fast!

Ash: JULES, LOOK OUT!

Juleka was about to fire off rocks to hopefully stop the ball, but instead, she shot out a crystal beam, crystalizing the ball within a purple crystal!

Hunter: [Australian accent; shocked] Crikey!

Hawk Moth: [gasps in shock] NO! How is that possible?!

Ash: Whoa!

Cat Noir: [as he and Alix have shocked expressions with Alix's jaw dropped] Well, that happened!

Juleka: [gasps; looks at her hands]

Ash: Jules, you just saved me and used crystal powers! I'm not sure I was even able to use that kind of power!

Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!

Juleka: [looking at her hands in awe] Wow...

Hunter: [Australian accent] You think you're so clever?! Try my [pulls out a tranquilizer gun] tranquilizer gun! [aiming it] One hit from a dart and you blokes will be out like a light!

Ash: Think you can try your crystallizing powers, again, Jules?

Pikachu: PIKACHU?

Juleka: I'll try.

When the Hunter shot tranquilizer darts from his gun, Juleka focused her powers and shot crystal beams out from her hands, crystallizing the darts!

Hunter: [Australian accent] WHAT?!

Ash: Nice shot!

Hunter: [Australian accent] I don't miss twice, ya wallies!

Alix: I don't miss at [launches a fireball] ALL!

Hunter: [hit; grunts in pain]

Alix: Scorbunny, show 'em your Ember!

Scorbunny: [Ember move] SCORBUN...NY!

Hunter: [hit; grunts in pain] Ouch!

Alix: Nice one, Scorbunny!

Scorbunny: [proud] SCORBUN!

Ash: [in his head] Come on, Ladybug. We're sitting Psyducks out here.

Cinderace: [telling Goh to stop] CINDER CINDERACE!

Grookey: [begging] GROOKEY KEY KEY!

Ash: Listen to your Pokémon, Goh! They want you to stop!

Cinderace and Grookey leapt in to protect them, but they ended up taking the hit and were captured!

Ash, Juleka, and Alix: [gasp in horror]

Pikachu, Scorbunny and Rockruff: [horrified] PIKA!/SCORBUN!/RUFF!

Cat Noir: [gasps in horror]

Hunter: [tears up; Australian accent] NO! [furious with tears in his eyes] LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO!

Ash: I didn't do anything! You caused it! Now you know how it feels!

Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!

Hunter: [growls; charges in; yells]

Cat Noir: Oh boy! [takes out his staff] I've got this! [holds him off; grunts]

Ash: [in his head] Hurry, Ladybug!

Cat Noir: [activates his power] Cataclysm!

Then, his hand glowed a black bubbly energy!

Cat Noir: Ladybug, NOW!

Then, Ladybug sprang out of hiding and threw the boomerang near the Hunter, but she missed!

Hunter: [Australian accent] Ha! You missed!

Ladybug: [smirks] Did I?

It came back around and snagged the Hunter's satchel!

Hunter: [Australian accent] WHAT?!

Ladybug: [grabs the satchel as the boomerang returned to her] I'll take that!

Hunter: [Australian accent] You black-spotted weasel! [points his tranquilizer gun] I'll fix ya!

Ladybug was quick enough to splash the bucket of soapy mop water in the Hunter's face!

Hunter: [Australian accent] MY EYES! [drops his tranquilizer gun; rubbing his eyes] It stings! IT STINGS!

Cat Noir: [grabs it] Yoink!

Then, he used his Cataclysm on it, turning it into dust!

Ash: Quick, Jules! While he's distracted!

Juleka: [nods] Mm.

Juleka crystallized the lower half of the Hunter's body while Ash summoned vines to strain his arms!

Hunter: [Australian accent] What the...?!

Ladybug: Pikachu, rip the satchel open with Iron Tail!

Pikachu: [affirmative] PIKA! [Iron Tail move] CHUUUUUUU...PIKA!

Pikachu's tail ripped the satchel open, releasing the Akuma!

Ladybug: Great job, Pikachu!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Ladybug: [opens her yo-yo] No more evildoing for you, little Akuma. [swings her yo-yo around] Time to de-evilize! [catches the Akuma with her yo-yo] Gotcha! [releases the Akuma, turning it into a normal butterfly] Bye bye, little butterfly. [throws her Lucky Charm into the air] Miraculous Ladybug!

Thanks to the magic ladybugs, everything was restored and all the captured victims were freed! Then, the Hunter transformed back into Goh!

Goh: Huh? What happened?

Ash: [happy] Goh! You're back to normal!

Pikachu: [happy] PIKA PIKA!

Cinderace: [ecstatic] CINDERACE!

Grookey: [ecstatic; crying tears of joy] GROOKEY KEY!

Then, the two Pokémon hugged their trainer! This made the heroes smile!

Ash, Juleka, Alix, Ladybug and Cat Noir: [fist bump] Pound it!

Pikachu: [joins in] PIKA!

Scorbunny: [joins in] SCORBUN!

Rockruff: [joins in] RUFF!

Goh: Anyone wanna tell me what just happened?

Ash: You were akumatized by Hawk Moth!

Goh: I was?

Ash: Yeah! He turned you into "the Hunter" and you were talking in a weird accent!

Alix: I think it was an Australian accent!

Ash: Ohhhhhh.

Goh: [panicking] Y-You mean I became a supervillain?! OH NO! [places his hands on his head] What have I done?! Imagine how much trouble I've caused! I'm in so much trouble!

Ash: You're not in trouble, Goh! It's not your fault that you got akumatized! If anything, Chloé the Snob is to blame! As always! You couldn't help but get upset!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI! PIKACHU!

Goh: I guess that's true!

Ladybug: You just have to remember not to listen to what she says and do what you think is right!

Cat Noir: My thoughts exactly, m'lady!

Ash: Yeah!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Ash: And I'll see to it that she apologizes for the awful things she said about you! Promise! But right now, [to Ladybug and Cat Noir] You two better beat feet and retreat before you transform back!

As soon as he said that, their Miraculous beeped with Ladybug's earrings showing only two spots left while Cat Noir's ring had three paw pads!

Ladybug: He's right, kitty! We gotta split!

Cat Noir: [smirks] See you around, [bows] m'lady!

Then, Cat Noir pole-vaulted away with his staff while Ladybug swung away on her yo-yo!

Goh: [awed] Wow!

Ash: I told you Ladybug and Cat Noir are awesome!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!

Goh: And you were right!

[In Hawk Moth's lair...]

Hawk Moth: You and the boy may have outwitted me this time, Ladybug! But one day I will catch both of you and your Miraculous if it's the last thing I do!

Then, the window of his lair closed!

Ash: [to Juleka and Alix] Juleka, Alix, thank you so much for helping us save my friend!

Alix: Aw, it was nothing!

Juleka smiled and hugged her boyfriend!

Ash: [giggles]

Then, he used his plant powers to grow a purple rose!

Ash: For you, Jules! A beautiful purple rose for the most amazingly beautiful girl!

Juleka: Oh, babe. [kisses him on the lips]

Ash gladly kissed back!

Alix: [clears her throat]

Ash: [as he and Juleka separate] Huh?

Alix: [whispers] If you two wouldn't mind? [makes head gestures towards Goh]

Goh: Huh?

Ash: Oh, yeah! Of course! But first! It's time to power down! [takes off the Meadow Plate, depowering himself in the process]

Then, Juleka and Alix did the same thing!

Ash: [takes the Flame and Stone Plates back] Thanks, girls! I knew I made the right decision by entrusting you with these!

Alix: You sure did!

Ash: [places the plates back in his backpack; to Juleka] Come on, Juleka! Let's head back! Alix has to—

But before they could do anything...

Jessie: Not so fast!

Ash: Huh?

Pikachu: PIKA?

Alix: Who's that?!

Jessie: Prepare for trouble, it's not that hard!

James: And make it double, we're a real hazard!

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!

Then, Jessie grabbed Meowth!

Then, two PokéBalls were dispensed!

James: [as he and Jessie take the PokéBalls and throw them] Let's see what we get today!

And out of the PokéBalls came...

Jessie: [as she and James caught the cards] The Sharp Claw Pokémon, Sneasel!

James: And the Long Leg Pokémon, Ariados!

Ash: Get ready, gang!

Alix: Let me and Juleka handle this one, Ash!

Alix: Trust me! These guys are at the disadvantage and we can use the extra battle experience!

Juleka: [as Ash held Juleka's hand and pulled her along] Huh?

Goh and Alix were now by themselves!

Alix: So, uh, I saw a picture of you from Ash's phone and well... [growls] I LIKE YOU OKAY?!

Little did they know that Ash and Juleka saw everything!

Then, he pulled out his Rotom Phone!

Everyone gathered around and saw all the Pokémon Goh has caught so far!

Goh: Thanks! I've only caught around 80 so far!

Alya: That's an impressive number!

Adrien: I'll say!

That's when they came across one that really surprised them!

Max: [gasps in shock] My word! The Aurora Pokémon, Suicune?!

Kim: Say what?!

Nino: No way!

Goh: Yep! It's true! I caught Suicune!

Alya: Major scoop! How did you do that?!

Goh: To make a long story medium, I rescued it from some Pokémon Hunters, treated its wounds, and it ended up gaining my trust!

Ash: It's true!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!

Alya: Whoa!

Rose: Oh, you saved its life!

Goh: Yep!

Kim: But what are Pokémon Hunters?

Ash: [frowns] They're really bad people who hunt wild and rare Pokémon to sell for profits! They even go as far to try and steal other people's Pokémon!

Rose: That's terrible! All those poor Pokémon!

Ash: Well, we managed to put a stop to their schemes! But there was one in particular that was most dangerous and feared in the Sinnoh Region! Hunter J!

Alya: What's the "J" short for?

Kim: [jokingly] Maybe it stands for "Jerk"!

Ash: It didn't stand for anything! She was just called J! And yeah, she was a total jerk!

Ash: This one time, she stole Pikachu!

Nino: Uh, what's going on between you two?

Chloe: Goh, what's going on?

Goh: Ash didn't tell you guys? Me and Alix are an official couple now!

Chloe and Parisian gang sans Ash and Juleka: [shocked] HUH?!

Chloe: [at a loss of words] Y-Y-You two are in love?!

Alix: Yep!

Goh: That's right, Chloe! We're a thing now!

Rose: [happy] Oh, I'm so happy for you, Goh and Alix!

Nino: Right on, dudes!

Kim: [points at Alix] I KNEW you had a crush on him!

Ash: So what, Kim? Is that a problem?

Kim: No! I just knew she had a crush on him! I love it when I'm right!

Ash: [rolls his eyes playfully]

Alix: You could say it was love at first sight! Kinda like Ash and Juleka!

Ash: Speaking of whom, you should've seen her in battle! When she powered up with the Stone Plate, she saved me by using crystal powers! Something I wasn't able to do!

Ash: [nods] Uh-huh!

Rose: Wow, Juleka! That's amazing!

Ivan: Cool!

Nino: Epic! How did you have crystal powers if Ash couldn't use them?

All Juleka could do was smile, blush and twirl her bang!

Juleka: [mumbles] Ashy was in danger. Seeing him almost get captured was what made me use them.

Ash: I know, right? [to Juleka; smiles] Thanks so much, Jules! You really saved me back there! You're the best!

Juleka smiled and wrapped her arms around her soulmate's neck!

Then, they began to make out!

Ash: [moans passionately into the kiss]

Alix: [grabs Goh's face] I believe it's our turn too!

Goh: Wait, what?!

Alix: I'll show you how it's done! [smashes her lips onto his]

Goh: [muffled in shock] MMPH!

Cinderace: [shocked] CINDERACE!

Scorbunny: [awed] SCORBUN!

Grookey: [awed] GROOKEY KEY!

Then, both couples separated!

Goh: [at a loss of words] That. Was. [a huge smile appears on his face and raises his fists in the air] AWESOME!

Alix: Glad you liked it!

Ash: [as Juleka hugged him] Trust me, Goh! You're gonna LOVE having a girlfriend!

Goh: I think I already do!

Everyone just laughed!

Adrien: [to Marinette] They were meant for each other, weren't they?

Marinette: Yeah. Just like you and me! [irks; blushes] I-I mean, as really good friends! Total boos! EEK! Buddies! Yeah, buddies!

Adrien was confused but he couldn't help but smile and chuckle, but Chloe heard and saw the whole thing!

Chloe: [in her head] Seems to me someone else is in love!

Eevee: EEVEE?

Ash: Anywho, shall we, gang?

Goh: We shall!

Everyone: Yeah!

Everyone started to head out, but Chloe decided to strike up a conversation with Marinette!

Chloe: So, I take it you're fond of Adrien, aren't you?

Marinette: [irks; blushes] What?! [waving her hands] No, no, no, of course not!

Chloe: You can't lie to me! You basically stammered when he spoke to you!

Marinette: [stammers; sighs in defeat] What am I saying? You're totally right.

Chloe: Yep! And I'm betting you lack the confidence to tell him how you feel about him?

Marinette: Well... okay, I do.

Chloe: That must be rough!

Marinette: You don't know the half of it! Please! DO NOT say anything about this to him!

Chloe: [offended] And betray my friend?! Never! Your secret's safe with me, Marinette!

Marinette: Thank you, Chloe! Wow, I never thought I'd hear myself say that.

Chloe: That's because of the Chloé you're familiar with!

Marinette: You've read my mind!

Chloe: Honestly, I think you and Adrien would make a pretty cute couple!

Marinette: Thanks! [places her hands on her cheeks; blushes] I sometimes imagine what our wedding we'll be like! [sighs dreamingly]

Chloe: Well, I suppose so. [giggles]

Later on, everyone was having dinner at Le Grand Paris!

André: I hope you and your friends enjoy your meal, Ash!

Ash: Thanks so much, Mr. Mayor! We will!

André: And for you, it's free of charge!

Ash: [smiles] Awesome! Thank you so much!

Pikachu: [happy] PIKA PIKA!

And everyone ate! The Pokémon were eating as well!

Goh: Yum! This is good!

Chloe: [takes a bite of her food] I know, this is delicious!

Ash: Yeah!

Pikachu: [eating; agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!

Goh: And the mayor seems nice!

Marinette: Oh, he is! Unlike his daughter.

Ash: Yeah!

Adrien: So, Chloe? What goals do you have?

Chloe: Me? Well, everyone back home was saying how I should be like my dad, Professor Cerise. But in all honesty, I wanna be able to pursue my own path. Do something that'll make me happy.

Adrien: Oh, I see!

Chloe: What about you, Adrien?

Adrien: [rubs his neck] So far, I just want to have a life like a normal boy. Go to school and make friends. Explore the world. My father has kept me indoors for most of my life ever since my mother left us.

Chloe: You mean she's...

Adrien: [nods sadly] I'm afraid so.

Chloe: [covers her mouth with her hands; gasps] Oh, Adrien. I'm so sorry.

Adrien: It's alright, Chloe. It's not your fault. Not a day goes by where I don't miss her.

Ash: That's why I made a vow to find a way to bring Adrien's mom back!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!

Chloe: You did?

Ash: I sure did!

Chloe: That sounds like an impossible task!

Goh: She's right, Ash! What do you even plan to do?

Ash: I don't know yet! But regardless, I have to try!

Juleka smiled from the determination of her boyfriend!

Rockruff: RUFF!

Chloe: Anyways, tell me about you being a model! [places her hands on her cheeks, with her elbows on the table] I'm sure it has to be amazing!

Adrien: Well, it is, but it sometimes isn't! Especially with the diehard fans always after me!

Ash: [irks; with food in his mouth] That doesn't sound very enjoyable!

Adrien: It's not really.

Litten: [agreeing; rolls its eyes] LITTEN.

Ash: If you ever need a paparazzi distraction, I'm your man!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Adrien: Thanks, Ash! Just don't go too far! I don't want your reputation getting a bad name!

Ash: No need to worry!

Chloe: Ooh, I'd love to be a fashion model!

Goh: I'm sure you would!

Cinderace: [agreeing] CINDERACE!

Ash: And Eevee could probably do it too!

Eevee: [eyes light up in excitement] EEVEE!

Marinette: Oh yeah! By the way, Chloe, how did you get Eevee anyway?

Chloe: Oh, I first met Eevee at my school when it ran away from the Vermilion City Eevee Evolution Lab!

Marinette: Eevee Evolution Lab?

Goh: It's a research facility in Kanto, located in our home, Vermilion City. The Laboratory primarily studies Eevee and its evolved forms.

Chloe: Although, Eevee was having trouble on what it wanted to do with itself! Kinda like me! So, with approval from the people in charge, I made Eevee my partner!

Eevee: [jumping into Chloe's lap; agreeing] EEVEE VEE!

Goh: And lately, Chloe's met one of Eevee's evolved forms!

Marinette: Which ones are there?

Goh: Let's see. [as the background changes color and each of the Eeveelutions were shown, starting with...] There's Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon and Sylveon!

Ash: Yep!

Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!

Marinette: Wow! I guess all of those evolved forms should be called Eeveelutions!

Adrien: [chuckles] Eeveelutions! I like that!

Marinette: I wish I had an Eevee just like you, Chloe!

Chloe: Huh? Really?

Marinette: [Marinette imagines with Chibi images] I can almost see myself with either an Espeon or a Sylveon!

Rose: [places her hands on her cheeks] So cute!

Kim: I'd go for a Vaporeon!

Juleka: [mumbles] Umbreon seems pretty cool.

Ash: Just goes to show that Pokémon really are amazing!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!

Goh: By the way, since we're gonna be hanging around here for awhile, where are we gonna stay?

Alix: You're more than welcome to stay with me, Goh!

Goh: [gasps] Really?! Alix, are you sure?

Alix: I'm sure my dad won't mind! Once I tell him about us, he's sure to accept you into the family! [to Cinderace] And we got plenty of carrots stocked up!

Cinderace: [eyes sparkle in excitement; drools] CINDERACE!

Alix: [to Grookey] And I'll see about stocking up on bananas for you too!

Grookey: [happily jumps up and down] GROOK GROOKEY KEY!

Goh: Well, when you put it that way. [decides] Okay!

Alix: [pumps her fist] Yes! Alright!

Goh: [chuckles]

Alya: And you can always stay with me at my place, Chloe!

Chloe: Alya, are you sure? I'd rather not be a burden!

Alya: You wouldn't be a burden! Besides, I can show you how much I've dedicated myself to Ladybug!

Ash: One thing you'll know about Alya is that she's Ladybug's #1 fan!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Chloe: You don't say.

Alya: It's true, girl! I'm Ladybug's biggest fan! [wraps an arm around Chloe] Stick with me, girl! And I'll teach you everything about Ladybug!

Chloe: [smiles] Why not? I'd love to stay with you! Thank you so much, Alya!

Eevee: [happy] EEVEE! EEVEE!

Alya: Think nothing of it, girl! You and I are gonna get along just fine!

Chloe: [giggles]

After everyone finished dinner, they started to head home, with Ash going with Marinette, Goh with Alix, and Chloe with Alya!

Adrien was driven back to the Agreste Mansion in his bodyguard's car, but when he went inside, his father was waiting for him in the foyer.

Adrien: Father?

Litten: LITTEN?

Gabriel: You're late, Adrien. Where have you been?

Adrien: Sorry, Father. My friends and I were at Le Grand Paris for dinner. Today, two of Ash's friends came to visit!

Gabriel: Really?

Adrien: [nods] They're actually going to be staying here in Paris for awhile!

Litten: [agreeing] LITTEN!

Gabriel: That's nice. Now, I think it's time you got ready for bed. [to Litten] I'll have Nathalie comb your fur, Litten.

Litten: [smiles; nods; saying "Thank you, sir."] LIT LIT, LITTEN.

In Adrien's room, Adrien was getting ready for bed while Nathalie sat on his sofa with Litten on her lap and combing its fur!

Plagg: [to Adrien as the boy was brushing his teeth] Even though I just met Ash's world's Chloe, she's a lot nicer than your Chloé. She should totally switch places with her.

Adrien: [spits out the toothpaste] Get real, Plagg. There's no way she'd do that. Even though she's not like the Chloé we know, she seems too innocent for the high and mighty life her family goes through. [rinses and spits] But you are right about one thing. They're totally opposite from each other.

Plagg: [folds his little arms] Exactly my point!

Adrien: But she and I are kind of alike in some ways too. We're both having trouble in what we wanna do in our lives. I'm expected to be a model and take over my father's fashion industry, while people think Chloe should take over her father's research and become a Pokémon Professor.

Plagg: And what's wrong with that? You love modeling, don't you?

Adrien: Don't get me wrong, is it nice to do it, it's just I wanna choose my path in life like Chloe. And maybe, just maybe, my father can support me for it.

Plagg: Well, we have seen how stubborn your father is. Just like a very hard pound of Mimolette cheese that refuses to be sliced.

Adrien: We'll continue this conversation tomorrow. Hide, Plagg.

He did just that as Adrien came out of the bathroom.

Nathalie: Perfect timing, Adrien. I just finished combing Litten's fur.

Litten: [stretches] LITTEN...

Adrien: Thank you, Nathalie.

Nathalie got up, turn off the lights and left, as Adrien crawled into bed!

Nathalie: Goodnight, Adrien.

Adrien: [yawns] Goodnight, Nathalie.

And with that, Adrien went to sleep!

Gabriel: [as Nathalie came into his office] So, some of Mr. Ketchum's friends will be staying in Paris now.

Nathalie: It would seem so, sir.

Gabriel: [smirks a bit, as his glasses shined] Perhaps when the chance comes, I should properly meet them in person.

At the bakery, Ash and Marinette were getting ready for bed.

Ash: [lays down on the chaise] Man, what a day.

Marinette: Yeah! It was actually quite thrilling!

Ash: I know! Goh and Chloe managed to travel to this world like me and Pikachu did!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI! PIKACHU!

Marinette: I'll bet you anything that ordeal has Arceus' name all over it!

Ash: Nah, it couldn't be! Could it?

Little did they know that the said Pokémon was outside, listening in!

Arceus: [chuckles] Could be. [disappears]

Ash: Regardless, things just got even better!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Marinette: I'd say so!

Tikki: Agreed! Things are about to get exciting around here!

Ash: Tikki, I couldn't agree more!

Tikki: Do you think they'd be able to help us fight Hawk Moth?

Marinette: Maybe. But they can't know that I'm Ladybug.

Ash: That's right! I don't usually keep secrets like these from them, and Juleka of course, but I'm a man of my word! I'll NEVER tell anyone about your secret, Marinette! It's not safe!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!

Marinette: [nods] Hm.

Tikki: Agreed! Adrien seems to be getting along nicely with the Chloe Ash knows!

Ash: Well, they do have some things in common!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!

Marinette: That's true!

Tikki: [nods] Mhm! But now that there's two girls with practically the same name, we might have to refer to them as Chloe the Angel and Chloé the Snob!

Ash, Marinette, and Tikki: [laugh]

Pikachu: [laughs] PIKACHU PIKA PIKA!

Popplio: [laughs while clapping] POP POP POP-POP POP POP-POP POP POP-POP POP POP-POP POP!

Marinette: [giggles; rubs Tikki's head with her finger] You should do stand-up, Tikki!

Tikki: [giggles]

Ash: [yawns] Well, we'd better get some sleep! Goh and Chloe will be getting registered at school tomorrow as temporary students while they're here in Paris!

Pikachu: [yawns] CHA...

Marinette: Yeah! It is getting late! [climbs up to her bed] Come on, Popplio! Bedtime!

Popplio: [tries to jump up] POP! POP! [whimpers] POPPLIO.

Marinette: Okay, I'm coming. [climbs down; picks up Popplio] Upsi-daisy!

Popplio: [happy] POP POP!

Marinette: [climbs back up and under her covers] Goodnight, Ash!

Ash: Goodnight, Marinette!

Pikachu: [saying goodnight] PIKACHU!

Marinette: Goodnight, Tikki!

Tikki: Goodnight, Marinette! Goodnight, Ash!

Ash: Goodnight, Tikki!

And with that, they went to sleep!

The next day, at Collège Françoise Dupont, Ash and Marinette were with Goh and Chloe in the principal's office, getting them registered.

Mr. Damocles: [types on the computer] Let's see. And there! Goh and Chloe Cerise, you are both registered as temporary students!

Goh: [excited] Alright!

Chloe: Thank you so much, Mr. Damocles, sir!

Eevee: [happy] EEVEE VEE!

Mr. Damocles: My pleasure! I've also given you the same schedules as [gestures to Marinette and Ash] our class representatives so they can help you get better acquainted with the school!

Goh: Thank you, sir!

Mr. Damocles: And I assume those little ones of yours will behave themselves?

Goh: Yes, sir!

Chloe: Eevee's very well behaved, Mr. Damocles! [eyes Grookey; mutters] Unlike Grookey sometimes.

Goh: Don't worry, Grookey will be on its best behavior! [sternly to Grookey] Isn't that right, Grookey?

Grookey: [smiles and nods] GROOKEY KEY!

Mr. Damocles: Very well! Off you go!

Then, they left his office!

Ash: The gang really is back together again!

Pikachu: [happily agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!

Goh: With some more members added!

Grookey: [happy] GROOKEY! GROOKEY KEY!

Chloe: Yeah!

Eevee: [happy] EEVEE!

Marinette: And we'll be happy to show you everything we love about Paris! As well as our favorite places!

Ash: I hope your parents are okay with you two staying in Paris until we find a way back!

Goh: Don't worry! Mine were completely okay with it!

Chloe: Mine too! They were a little worried about me being in an entire new world at first, but when I managed to convince them I'd be with you guys, they were completely on board with it in the end!

Ash: Awesome! Welcome to Paris, you guys! But a word of advice! Be careful around Ms. Mendeleiev! She's an absolute grouch.

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU.

Goh: Right.

Chloe: How is it that the two of you are class representatives?

Ash: It was a tied vote between the two of us!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!

Marinette: We at least managed to knock Chloé the Snob down a peg!

Goh: Ha!

Ash: It's gonna be a lot more interesting now that you guys are here!

Marinette: [wraps an arm around Ash] I'll say!

Ash: And now you got two guys that will get cheeky towards you about Adrien! [chuckles cheekily; as Marinette bonks him on the head] OW! What did I do?!

Chloe: [with a deadpan expression; sweat drops] Yep. Same old Ash.

Goh: But that's what we like about him!

Ash: [rubs his head; giggles] Come on! We'd better get to class!

Goh: Race you there! [runs ahead]

Ash: Hey! [runs after him] No fair, Goh! You got a head start!

Chloe: [exasperated sighs] Boys.

Marinette: [chuckles] I know. They can be a bit much sometimes. [grins cheekily] But... No sense in not joining in! Race you, Chloe! [runs ahead]

Popplio: [runs after her] POP POP POP!

Chloe: [exclaims] Marinette! [runs after her] Wait for me!

Ash and his friends had soon arrived to class!

Ash: Here we are, Miss Bustier!

Marinette: Just in time, too!

Miss Bustier: Thank you, Marinette and Ash! And you two must be Chloe Cerise and Goh!

Goh: That's us!

Grookey: [greeting] GROOKEY!

Chloe: [bows] It's very nice to meet you, Miss Bustier!

Eevee: [greeting] EEVEE!

Caline: Likewise! Now, why don't you choose your seats!

Goh: Sure thing!

And with that, they took their seats!

Goh sat in between Alix and Mylène while Chloe took her seat in the back next to Nathaniel!

Caline: Now, I hope you studied your Pokémon, everyone! Because today's our Jeopardy game quiz on Pokémon!

[students cheering]

Goh: A quiz?

Chloe: On our first day?

Ash: Don't worry! You guys know a lot about Pokémon! It'll be a cinch for you!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

Goh: When you put it that way...

Chloe: I suppose it couldn't hurt to try!

Ash: That's the spirit!

Caline: Ash? Care to assist with the quiz?

Ash: [gasps excitedly] Would I?! Yeah!

Goh: Ash?

Chloe: Assisting with the quiz?

Ash then hooked up his Rotom Phone to the projector and the Jeopardy game was projected on screen!

Ash: Now, the rules of Jeopardy are simple! Each card is worth the amount of points you earn! And whoever has the most points wins!

Caline: And each of the points will be added to your quiz score!

Adrien: That makes sense!

Litten: LITTEN!

Goh: Ash, what about you? How are you supposed to take the quiz?

Ash: You'll see! Anyway, we have 19 categories that each go up to 500 points! We have Normal, Grass, Fire, Water, Fighting, Flying, Poison, Ground, Rock, Bug, Ghost, Electric, Psychic, Ice, Dragon, Dark, Steel, Fairy and Dual-type! This will help you test your knowledge on Pokémon and how much you learned from the lesson!

Nino: Sweet!

Ash: Now, we'll start with... [eyes Chloé; grins cheekily] Chloé!

Chloé: [looks up from her nail filing] Huh?

Ash: Select a category!

Chloé: Sabrina! What is he talking about?!

Sabrina: [whispers in her ear]

Chloé: [nods] Hmm... 500 Steel.

Ash: [reads the statement] Because this Legendary Iron Pokémon's body has been tempered by underground pressure for thousands of years and is harder than any metal found upon this planet, its body cannot be scratched.

Chloé did not know this one at all!

Ash: [in his head; thinks] Exactly like I planned. Even I know that the answer is one of the six Legendary Giants, Registeel.

Chloé: [groans in frustration] I give up! How am I supposed to know?!

Ash: You should've paid attention to the lesson! [sees Goh raise his hand] Goh?

Goh: Registeel!

Ash: Let's see! [taps on the statement and it reveals the Iron Pokémon, Registeel] And you're correct! It's Registeel! The Iron Pokémon!

Goh: [pumps his fist in triumph] Alright! Got it!

Ash: And that's 500 points! Please choose the next category?

Goh: Okay, let's see...

A montage shows the students answering different questions about different Pokémon!

Ash: Okay! We're down to the last question of the Dual-type category! Who wants to answer this last one?

Marinette: [raises her hand]

Ash: Alright, Marinette! [reads the statement] This Water- and Fairy-type Soloist Pokémon controls the balloons that it makes by singing melodies passed down from generation to generation.

Marinette began to think, but that's when she looked at her partner Pokémon!

Popplio: [tilts her head] POP?

Marinette: [gasps] Primarina! It's Popplio's final evolved form!

Ash: Marinette, I'm sorry to say this... [Marinette looks sad, but then Ash taps on the statement and it reveals the Soloist Pokémon, Primarina] You got it right!

Marinette: [gasps excitedly]

Popplio: [happily claps] POP POP POP POP!

Ash: Now, let's see everyone's scores!

Everyone's scores were shown, but Goh, Chloe, and Marinette had the highest!

Caline: And we have a three-day tie for Goh, Chloe and Marinette!

Goh: [happy] Alright!

Grookey: [happy] GROOKEY KEY!

Ash: And that makes Goh, Chloe and Marinette the winners!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA!

Ash: Congratulations!

Alya: [high fives with Marinette] Way to go, girl!

Caline: Well done, all of you!

Ash: Nice job! [winks at Juleka] Especially you, Jules!

Juleka: [smiles and blushes]

Alix: [to Goh] Nice job, big guy!

Goh: [smiles] Thanks, Alix! [proud] Let's just say that I know my stuff!

Alix: You sure do! [punches his arm playfully] One of the things I like about ya!

Goh: [giggles]

Nathaniel: [to Chloe] You did pretty good. You seem to know your stuff.

Chloe: Well, when you have a Pokémon Professor for a dad, it's actually pretty easy!

Nathaniel: Wow! That's impressive. Regardless, [smiles] you seem like a very smart girl.

Chloe: [blushes] Uh... Thank you.

That's when Chloe noticed his opened sketchbook with the drawings he's done inside them!

Chloe: Hey! Is that your sketchbook?

Nathaniel: Oh, um, yeah, it is.

Chloe: Can I see?

Nathaniel: Oh, uh, sure thing. [slides his sketchbook to her]

Chloe looked inside and saw all the drawings he's done!

Chloe: Wow! These look great!

Nathaniel: You really think so?

Chloe: Yeah! You're a great artist!

Nathaniel: [blushes; smiles] Thank you, Chloe. That really means a lot. I wish my science teacher thought so. She thinks it's all chicken scratch.

Chloe: She probably just doesn't have good taste! I think you're very talented, Nathaniel!

Nathaniel: Thank you, Chloe! You're a very nice girl!

Eevee: [rubs its head against Nathaniel's arm affectionately] EEVEE VEE!

Everyone voiced their agreements and affirmatives! Juleka had written another note to Ash and Rose was passing it on for her!

Rose: Psst. Ash.

Ash: Huh?

Pikachu: PIKA?

Rose: [hands Ash the note] For you.

Ash: [gasps softly and excitedly; takes it] Thanks!

Then, he opened it up! The note said, "You're so sweet and awesome. Love, Juleka." It even had a kiss mark like the last one!

Ash: [blushes; smiles] Aww, Juleka. [looks over at her]

Juleka: [winks cutely at him; makes a kissy face at him]

Ash: [giggles]

Pikachu: [happy] PIKA PIKA!

Ash: [to Pikachu] Buddy, I think things might just get even more interesting here in Paris!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!

The scene ends with Ash, Juleka, and Alix powered up, fighting alongside Ladybug and Cat Noir against the Hunter, Juleka using crystal powers, much to Ash's amazement, and Goh and Chloe hanging out with Ash and his Parisian friends! And Ash, Juleka, Goh and Alix up on the Eiffel Tower and looking at the moon!

Narrator: Although things started to get ugly between Ash and Goh, the supers managed to save the day again and save Goh!
