Chapter 71 The Dark heart
Sean chuckled as he played with his newest daughter Anya who giggled as she bounced on his lap.
"At least you're not being raised by wolves here." Sean said making her giggle.
"HA HA HA." Mowgli said unamused making him chuckle as Anya yawned making Mowgli smile as she picked her up.
"Come on sweetie." Mowgli said carrying her to bed.
"So whats the deal with this Colonel Hayley and your mother?" Asami asked holding Jack who was asleep.
"Colonel Hayley lost her daughter in the line of duty and for some reason blames my mom for it. Though it doesn't make any sense since the fact is she had nothing to do with that mission since it didn't involve ARGUS or anything else involved with her." Sean said.
"So why blame her?" Asami asked.
"I don't know and I don't care. She's a dead woman walking is all I'll say." Sean said.
"But what if someone is making her think that through lies. What if Grendel is behind it?" Asami said.
"He's got nothing to do with it since this was before he even showed up. No this is just something else and honestly I don't care." Sean said leaving.
"I coulda told you to just drop it. Those two have had issues for years." Korra said with Mathayus in her arms.
"I don't understand why though. I mean if Amanda had nothing to do with it why does Hayley think she did. Is she under the impression she was involved or was it because someone lied to her?" Asami asked.
"I don't know. Then again Hayley might have a good reason to believe she had something to do with it because of the things she did before. And for also blocking her attempts to make Sean weapon loyal only to the country." Korra said.
"Oooh." Asami said.
"Doesn't matter now anyway. Hayley is now on the top most wanted list. And anyone associated with her is to be arrested on site." Korra said.
Later
In the middle of Nevada a strange machine stood that was heavily advanced.
Up above the Watch tower detected it.
"Scanning object. Nothing of it on record." M'gann said.
"It's alien thats for sure." Eiling said.
"I want that area evacuated now. And I want the Wolf Pack on site immediately." Lane said.
"Already on the way." Floyd said with Red Hood and Atomic skull as they landed after a woman was escorted on another chopper.
"The hell was she doing here?" Atomic Skull asked.
"Her boyfriend and her went climbing when the first vanished and she called it in. Whatever it is did something to him." Floyd said as other commandos arrived.
However once they did some strange metal creatures came out and attacked them.
"OPEN FIRE!" Red hood yelled as they fired at them but they just kept coming.
And they started eating the choppers.
"Containment failed. We're gonna need some serious backup." Floyd said.
"We're on our way." Superman said with the entire league in route.
"What the hell is this thing?" Sage asked.
"I know." Titan Sean said appearing in hologram form.
"What is it?" Batman asked.
"It's old titan Technology. 10,000 years before the end of the first golden age." Godzilla said.
"For warfare?" Lane asked.
"The opposite actually. It was designed by an ancestor of mine. Arnold Kruger. It was designed to terraform planets when the subject of moving to other worlds was discussed back then. Since the human race population kept increasing it was voiced to the idea of moving to other worlds. Hence where this comes from." Titan Sean said.
"But clearly something went wrong." Wonder Woman said.
"Once it started consuming something it would not stop...Ever. It almost destroyed Titan City had Ghidorah not set off a massive EMP burst to fry them. After that it was launched into space never to be seen again...Till now. It must have passed through a wormhole beyond the dimensional barrier and into this one." Godzilla said.
"How do we stop it?" Lantern asked.
"That is a mystery since it should have been deactivated permanently but I guess when it arrived here it must have reactivated. Now it's just gonna consume everything in its path till theres nothing left." Titan Sean said.
"Theres no failsafe or anything?" Motoko asked.
"The failsafe was corrupted when it started multiplying." Godzilla said.
"Great. So we gotta deal with this the old fashioned way." Super Girl said as they arrived seeing the thing got even bigger.
"It's getting bigger." Beowulf said as they landed.
"I got something that should help." Batman said flying over it on the batwing before dropping something and it froze instantly.
"Batman what was that?" Wonder Woman asked.
"Fermionic gas. Cools within a few degrees of absolute zero." Batman said.
"We needed it once when Joker tried to poison the Gotham river with his Joker venom." Sage said.
"I have the commanding officer on the ground." J'onn said.
"This is Colonel Norris." Norris said shocking Avatar Sean.
"WHAT!" Avatar Sean yelled angered.
"Whoa. Where did that come from?" Flash asked.
"Why the fuck is he here?" Avatar Sean asked pissed off.
"Get over it freak." Norris said making him growl.
"You haven't changed at all. You're lucky you even still have a job in the army after that stunt you pulled years ago." Beowulf said.
"Whatever freak. We're evacuating the towns. Keep those things held up till then. I don't care if all of you die in the process." Norris said.
"The only one who's going to die is you." Avatar Sean said making him glare.
Soon enough everyone was loaded off.
"So if this is Titan technology it's gonna be difficult to defeat. And if this is just gonna get worse from everything it eats consuming more mass and using that mass to multiple." Mutant Sean said.
"What happened after it was shelved?" Batgirl asked.
"It was put through the works again and then finally the glitch was fixed since it had a lot of potential incase the need to visit other worlds ever came." Titan Sean said. "Don't forget before the end of the golden age before the Kaiju there were 20 billion people who lived before Mark screwed everyone over. Since the cities kept expanding the number of buildings and housing also kept increasing as well. If the population reach twice the rate it was then the project would have been set forth to Mars to make it livable but because of Mark though the population has been majorly downsized." Titan Sean said.
"Hold up." Jedi Sean said as he sensed something. "Their right under us!"
With that the little spider machines jumped out and started attacking them everywhere.
Godzilla took over and breathed Atomic breath at them destroying them easily.
'I forgot how much I despised these things when the first test resulted in this.' Godzilla said.
'Lets just make sure this is the last time they come up' Titan Sean said making him nod.
"What are you idiots doing? We need more time to evacuate." Norris said arrogant.
"WILL YOU SHUT UP DICK FACE!" Avatar Sean yelled.
"Yeesh. He must have had real issues with the Norris in his universe." Sage said making Beowulf nod.
"Amanda. We're not gonna be able to keep them all at bay. We need to use the Binary fusion cannon." Batman said.
"Your absolutely sure?" Amanda said on the comms.
"No choice mom. We need it now." Beowulf said.
"Sam. Have it charged up." Amanda said.
"Roger that." Lane said as the tower was right over the site before the bottom opened up. "Titan Technology versus Titan Technology." Lane said.
"What are you doing?" Norris asked annoyed.
"None of your business." Avatar Sean said making him glare.
A powerful laser soon hit down making a trench around them forcing them to stop moving.
"I still can't believe we have that now." Sage said.
"If we had it during the Sith invasion it would have made a huge difference." Beowulf said using his enhanced vision to look into the machines.
"What do you see?" Superman asked.
"Theres some kind of darkheart in each one of them. This thing will continue to replicate in every exact detail as each other." Beowulf said.
"So destroying it is a no go." Red hood said.
"No it'll just repair itself from the mass it's already consumed and absorbed. No...We need to destroy it from within from this dark heart." Beowulf said.
"The Legends are off in another timeline so Palmer can't help out." Green Arrow said.
"But I know someone who can." Mutant Sean said rushing off.
Later
Mutant Sean had gone back to his universe to get Antman.
"Incredible. To think Titan Technology was that advanced 10,000 years before the end of the original golden years." Hank said.
"Yeah, yeah. Can you destroy it from within?" Mutant Sean asked.
"Sure once I get close enough. Though I really would like to study it first." Hank said.
"Need I remind you this is the flawed version. They have the perfected version back in their universe." Mutant Sean said.
"Oh...Right." Hank said sheepishly.
"Hows the trench holding?" Mutant Sean asked.
"What Trench?" Batman asked as the whole thing grew in the five minutes he was gone.
"Whoa." Hank said seeing it as everyone fought the machines before legion gunships arrived.
"GO GO GO!" Captain Rex yelled as his men started blasting them back.
"I hope you got a plan." Hunter said as they arrived.
"If I can get close enough I can get inside the thing and destroy it quickly." Antman said.
"Before we try that I wanna do something real quick to see if it'll work." Ancient Sean said as exodia appeared before merging with the Shining Dragon inside him placing the armor on him.
"I see what he's up to." Batman said.
"GET CLEAR!" Rex yelled as he blasted the machine to nothing as only a large handful of the machines survived.
"Wow. And I forgot that these guys are just as powerful as the Titans." Spartan said before the machines that survived started gathered together.
"What are they doing?" Canary asked before they formed into the same machine that was just destroyed.
"Oh you gotta be kidding me!" Atomic skull yelled.
"Ok thats not gonna work. As long as even one of these things survives they'll just keep consuming mass and rebuilding." Sage said.
"All right Pym your up." Wonder Woman said as they flew to the machine while fighting off the enemy while Antman flew on an ant.
"I know Janet is gonna complain she didn't get the chance to get involved in this." Antman said.
"She likes science as much as you do?" Sage asked.
"No. She loves a good fight." Hank said.
"And yet you don't." Supergirl said.
"You know the old saying. Opposites attract." Antman said amused before they were right above it.
"Go!" Beowulf yelled as he jumped down into it.
Thats when they began to merge again before a Mecha Version of Godzilla appeared.
"AGAIN!" Godzilla yelled outraged.
'Not this again. Goddamnit Sarah.' Titan Sean said.
Both started fighting each other as Godzilla blasted Atomic breath at it but it did something similar causing both powers to make waves of powers forcing everyone back.
"Wow. And this is yet another version of him he's had to deal with." Jedi Sean said.
"Another? How many has he dealt with?" Superman asked.
"This brings it up to eight." Tech said.
"And I'm sick of it!" Godzilla yelled slamming his tail into it forcing it back.
"I can't break the thing inside!" Antman yelled.
"Is there anything in there you can use to destroy it?" Sage asked.
"Wait a second. There are tubes. If I cut off the flow." Antman said growing a bit before cutting off the flow.
Godzilla roared as he blasted the new Mecha with atomic breath before it fired back making a wave of power that sent people back before it started twitching.
"Whats happening?" Powergirl asked as the main machine started expanding before purple ooze shot out of it as the machines shut down along with the Mecha as it fell over.
"That...Was unexpected." Raven said.
Mutant Sean arrived at the machine as Antman grew back to normal size.
"That...Was disgusting." Antman said making him grin.
Later
"I demand you hand over that technology." Norris said.
"Forget it. It's Titan Technology. Therefore it belongs to us." Titan Sean said before Norris pulled a gun on him.
"I wasn't asking." Norris said making everyone glare.
"That won't work on me. You pull anything and it'll mean war which you'll lose." Titan Sean said making him growl as he pulled the gun down.
"Freak. I should kill you now." Norris said.
"I already killed you in my universe." Avatar Sean said making him widen his eyes. "Burned your soul to ash. Payback for trying to kill my son the day he was born just because his mother wasn't from the states. Arrogant cocksucker is what you both are." Avatar Sean said making him growl as he and his men left.
"So thats why you hate him so much." Wonder Woman said.
"Oh if only you knew everything about him like I do." Avatar Sean said.
"He's no doubt in league with Hayley. They have a history." Batman said.
"Oh I know. But it doesn't matter since I knew from the start he would be in league with her. But she most likely took precautions to make sure he couldn't talk." Beowulf said.
Later
"ARE YOU TRYING TO EXPOSE US!" Hayley yelled at Norris.
"We needed that technology to fight against them. If we want to rule the entire planet." Norris said.
"I don't care about the Planet. I want to take Amanda and her family down. By any means. But you almost could have jeopardized all that. Remember...You work for me. Not the other way around." Hayley said making him frown. "Besides we already got a nice amount of it before you acted rashly." Hayley said.
"An amount is not the same as all of it." Norris said.
"It's a start. Now...We have other matters to attend to. Like securing the armor." Hayley said.
Meanwhile
"Several pieces are missing. No doubt about it. Cadmus is working to take everything they can." Sean said.
"Hayley. Honestly I wonder how she did all this without raising any alarms." Amanda said.
"She's good. In any event another problem occurred. Remember the Xeno that came out of Chopper during the trial? It's gone. No doubt they took it." Sean said.
"Did you get a results back beforehand?" Amanda said.
"It's incredibly strong. Strong enough to give even an experienced Hunter trouble. Wolf and Scarface suggested it be killed but I needed more time to study it for weaknesses which I never got around to." Sean said.
"And now they have it." Amanda said.
"I'll admit one thing. Should they ever unleash it and I hope it's in a non civilian sector...I look forward to adding it to my wall." Sean said making her smirk.
"Don't you have enough trophies as it it?" Amanda asked.
"Hey my Dad had hundreds of different species in his collection in the cellar of that old estate I was born in. I'm just following his legacy." Sean said making her smirk.
"I suppose thats true." Amanda said.
Meanwhile
Grendel looked over the results of the Darkheart.
"I'm surprised you didn't bother to collect any of those things." Malgus said.
"Tempting but I'd rather not risk Anyone reactivating it and making a mess of things. Besides...I got grander plans." Grendel said looking at a projection of Burk who screamed as he was devoured by his mutated Xenomorhps that kept multiplying without eggs or a queen.
"And yet you knew it was coming." Malgus said.
"I knew it was coming but I didn't know it was Titan Technology. That was a unique surprise." Grendel said.
"It wasn't too me. I've seen first hand what Titan Technology can do." Malgus said.
"True. But what we're planning will rival it." Grendel said taking his mask off as he looked in the mirror seeing only his glowing Red eyes.
