"Where is it, where is it?" Olly poked his head under Peach's bed. "Peaches, have you seen my confetti bag?"

"No. I'm sorry."

Olly sighed and slid out. "How could I lose such a precious artifact?"

"When did you last see it, hun?"

Olly faced the doorway. Rubber band stood there, the second tallest and strongest out of the Legion. She was to protect the Blue Streamer on Autumn Mountain.

"Oh, Rubber band. Have you seen it?"

She shook her head. "No. I haven't seen it since your sister was here...Wait. Do you think she could have stolen it? Ooh, that thief-"

"Calm down, Rubber band. I'm sure it's around here somewhere."

"Hun, is something the matter?"

Olly looked at Peach. "She still tries to act like herself. I have no idea why she isn't like the others. Did I do a fold wrong, or creased the wrong spot?"

"Oh, hun. She was one of the first people you folded. You weren't as strong as you are now, remember? As your strength improves, so does your sense of magic. You can tell it's weaker than the others, and it's diggin a hole in your mind and making you think you aren't good enough."

"But, she's ill."

"What? Oh, did all of my practicing convince her too well?"

"No, she's actually sick. That's why she's stuck in here, in her bed. Whatever we try, she just gets worse."

"You can try unfolding her," Rubber band suggested.

"But, she'll be scared of me. She'll call me evil. I don't want that. I'm just trying to help..."

She placed a hand on his shoulder. "You can try, right? Do it for me, hun. See if it'll make her better, okay?"

Olly nodded and held out his hand. Peach floated up, unfolded, then gently fell back down onto her mattress. She looked around.

"Oh? How did I get in my room?"

"P-princess."

She looked at Olly, recognising him quickly.

"Oh! It's you! You visited me earlier when the Origami Festival invitation was handed out!"

"You were becoming ill, so I brought you here. Do you feel better?"

She touched a hand to her forehead. "I guess? I don't feel very sick. Did I faint?"

"Um..."

"Sir! SIIIIR!" The Koopa Troopa entered the room, skidding to a stop. "The Red Streamer! They destroyed it!" He was panting heavily, suggesting he was running for a while before arriving. "Wait, she's flat again?"

Olly refolded her before she was to process what the Koopa Troopa had said. "The streamer? Then that means..." He pulled out a walkie-talkie. "Jean-Pierre? Please respond!"

The other end only produced static.

"I told him to-I said he should-"

"Hun? What's wrong?"

"He died. He failed to follow my orders."

"The sky troops say this was no fail of order, sir. They said Mario declined his plea for mercy."

Rubber band smiled. "Now THAT is a drama show I'd watch."

Olly sighed. "One thing after another...I cannot get a break."

"This is the result of being King, hun."

"And my nightmare...I think I'm going crazy..."

"Are you alright, hun?"

"I keep seeing Olivia everywhere she isn't, I keep falling asleep randomly and having night...daymares, and I just overall do not feel okie dokie."

Rubber band snickered quietly.

Olly rubbed the fold in the middle of his face. "I'm losing my mind from this stress...I'm going to the piano room..."

"Take care, hun. If Mario's heading for the Blue Streamer, then it's my turn to take the spotlight!"

Olly left the room, trying to keep a steady breathing pattern. He flew past Scissors, who was attempting to speak to him. He entered the room and shut the door. He sat down on the seat and lifted the key cover off. He moved the chair back a bit and activated the Magic Circle. He used the 1,000-fold arms to properly play the piano.

He had discovered the piano room before heading off to Picnic Road. He never learned to play, but he hoped that he would be good with enough practice.

He started humming to himself, which led to him singing the words quietly to the empty room.

"I made this new world for you..."

A shadow being casted into the room over light made Olly lose his focus and mess up the tune. He looked and spotted Scissors in the doorway, holding a clipboard.

"My King, I can see you're not yourself. I can explain why, if you would let me."

"Fine, tell me." Olly resumed playing the piano, hitting a few sour notes here and there.

"You're actively draining your energy, my King. I don't know how that is happening yet, but-"

"Then why are you bothering me?"

"Well, a Toad came, and he wants to see the Princess."

"What?!" The sudden turn made the key cover slam down on his hands. "Ow...Scissors, help me."

"Right away, my King!"

Olly folded his hands back after Scissors helped Olly get the cover off. He waved his hands around to numb the pain and faced Scissors.

"Lead me to him."

Scissors led Olly out of the room and down a few different halls. Scissors motioned for the door, and a Hammer Bro came and opened it. The streamers still blocked off a majority of the castle, but the door was mostly free now that the Red Streamer was gone. Olly looked down and saw a red Toad and a Pink Toad.

"Yes?"

"We're here to see Princess Peach," the red Toad explained.

Olly looked around. "How did you get...? Nevermind. Please come inside, and I'll lead you to her."

Olly led the Toads to Peach's Kitchen, where Hole Punch was punching holes in all of the food he could find. The Toads gave Hole Punch a puzzled look.

"Hole Punch? What are you doing? We have guests."

He stopped and stared. "I'm eating food?"

"You can't eat, Hole Punch."

"Alright fine! I like punching holes in stuff 'kay? Is that so bad?"

Olly stared at him.

Hole Punch sighed. "I'm going back to the desert, man. It's so much more groovy there." Hole Punch exited.

"Pardon him. Please have a seat."

"You're so nice!" The pink Toad thanked.

"I...thank you."

"I'm Toad, and that's my sister Toadette. It's nice to meet you. Are you knew here?"

"In a way." Olly looked around. "I'll...How about some tea?"

"So, if you're twelve, where are your parents?" Toad asked.

"I don't want a single soul to speak of my creator ever agian. You understand?"

"Um, sure."

"So you work for Peach now?" Toadette questioned, playing with the tab at the end of the tea bag.

Olly nodded. "Say, I have a question for you two."

"Go ahead," Toad said.

"Would you like to be folded anew? Refolded into a perfect, superior being like me?"

"That's a weird question..." Toad said suspiciously.

"No, I like being flat. Thank you though!"

Olly looked at Toad.

"No, I'm good too."

"Oh then then...I'll eat you! Yeah! I'll eat you Toads!"

"Woah, what?" Toadette blinked at him. "Hold up, reel it in for a minute."

"Why didn't I think about that sooner? They ARE mushrooms after all and Mario eats mushrooms all the time. I wonder what mushrooms taste like..."

"My King?" Scissors asked, leaning into the room around the doorframe. "What are you doing with these two?"

"Here I go!" Olly bit a piece off of Toad's hat.

"Aaah! What the heck, man?!"

"No way did he just do that," Toadette said, shocked.

Olly broke into a coughing fit that turned to gagging. Scissors came over and started patting him on the back.

"It's so bitter! Disgusting! Pleah, pleah! Now the taste will never leave!" Olly straightened and faced the Toads. "Out. Now."

"But, the cookies-" Toadette started.

"NOW!"

Toad grabbed his sister and fled as quickly as he could. Olly faced Scissors, tears in his eyes.

"I wish I hadn't done that."

"And now you know why we don't listen to intrusive thoughts, no?"

"Uhg...The taste is so awful..."

"Do you want to go back to your music?"

"No, I want to see Peaches."

"It's just Peach, my King. Singular noun."

"Why didn't anybody correct me before?"

"Because we all thought it was adorable."

"I'm not adorable..."

"Yes, you are."

"No, I'm not!"

"That's not what Rubber band says."

"She says you're cute..." Olly snapped back.

"D-does she?"

"Yes, and Hole Punch and...well pretty much everybody."

"I see." Scissors had the tone of defeat in his voice, and Olly wondered why. He decided not to question and followed Scissors in silence.
