By the time they had gotten back to the lake, Olivia was just starting to act like herself again. She went over to the Magic Circle and used the Water Vellumental again.

"Hah...hah...Wee! I say the Water Vellumental's power...is pretty fun...No matter how...gross it feels..."

"Good for you, ma'am."

"Look! There's a...boat there...!" Olivia started off, but fell to her knees on the way to the boat dock. "Oh...oh boy..."

"And scoop!" Mario picked up Olivia. "No more flying until we get to the streamer, okay-a Olivia?"

"Okay..."

Mario gently placed her in the boat and waited for Bobby to catch up. Once Bobby was on the boat, Mario attempted to paddle it out to the river.

But they went nowhere with that one paddle.

"Hah...hah...That's a no."

"Aww! I wanted to...go on a river ride..."

"Boo! Learn to pilot a boat, Big M!"

"You need-a two paddles to move a boat, Bobby!"

"Hey, there's a master oarsman here who can move the boat for you," a nearby Toad informed them. "I have no idea where he went though..."

"Oh!" Olivia floated out of the boat, towards a giant stack of opened cans. "Maybe that monkey saw him!"

"She got better fast..." Bobby whispered to Mario, who nodded in agreement.

"'Eee! Eee!'" Olivia tried. "That's monkey speech for 'do you know any master oarsmen?'"

The monkey let out a long screech and tossed a sealed can at her face. "EEE! EEE! EEE!"

"Ow! Hey!" She rubbed her forehead as the monkey climbed up the wall and scurried away. "That must have been monkey for 'no way, and your monkey accent is horrible, lady!'..." She sighed. "I tried..."

Mario picked up the can. "Canned tuna? Why was he holding-a this?"

"He obviously wants the tuna, so let's find him and give it back to him!" Bobby suggested.

They had to walk through some really tall grass that Bobby had gotten lost in earlier while they were searching for Mario. The monkey was sitting on top of a small offering box in a small clearing from the grass in the uppermost northeastern corner. Olivia put the can of tuna on the offering box and smiled as the monkey came down to claim it. The monkey scratched at it a few times and tossed it at her face again.

"Ow!" She picked it up and examined it. "Ooh, maybe he's upset because he can't get it open! We need to find somebody who can open it."

"I think I can help with that, ma'am." Bobby started off through the grass again, Mario and Olivia following. Bobby stopped at a little log table and three log chairs. "Hey there."

"Ah! You found your amigos!" The Shy Guy congratulated.

"Oh! I remember you! I found you and Bobby here when I lost him in the grass! You were waiting for your friends, right?"

"Si! I think they got lost in that grass. If you could find them and bring them here, that would be perfect! Then we can start our Canned Food Par-tay!"

"Yay! We might find somebody with a can opening-device with them!"

Mario nodded.

They all rustled through the grass for a bit before finding a Spike asleep in the grass near the offering box, and a Bone Goomba running from an origami Spiny and Shy Guy. Mario led them back to the Shy Guy.

"Mi amigos!" He started playing happily on his guitar. "Now we can have our Canned Food Par-tay! I brought the music!"

"I brought the canned food!" The Spike said, slamming a sealed can of chicken onto the table.

"And me brought-" The Bone Goomba stayed silent for a minute. "Me brought nothing."

"Dude," the Shy Guy gasped. "You were supposed to bring the can opener! This is why we had a sign-up sheet."

"Me forgot the can opener."

The Shy Guy sighed heavily. "Great. How are we supposed to have a Canned Food Par-tay without something to open the canned food?"

"Wait! Me have a thought!" The Bone Goomba jumped onto the table and bit two holes into the seal on the top. He drained out the water and bit more holes into it to open it more. "It open!"

"It's open!" The other two cheered.

"Ooh! We have a can that needs opening!" Oliva handed the Spike the can of tuna.

He picked up the canned chicken, put the tuna on the table, and watched as the Bone Goomba repeated the process. He handed Olivia back the can and slammed their chicken back down.

"Thank you!"

They tried again, the monkey happily accepting the tuna.

"Heehee, it's funny how he likes tuna! Oh, I can ask him the question now!"

Mario wacked the monkey with his hammer, it unfolding into a blue Toad wearing a Bamboo hat and a blue Haori. He was happily eating the tuna before realizing Mario, Olivia, and Bobby were staring at him.

"Huh? Ah, Mario." He tossed the can aside and tucked his hands into his sleeves. "It's nice to finally meet you but, who are these?"

"Olivia," she introduced.

"Bobby," Bobby finished.

"A pleasure."

"The plasure is all mine, Toad!" Olivia said. "Do you know any master oarsmen around here? We need to head up river."

"Why, I am the master oarsman you tell about. What's your need to head up stream for? Nobody has been that way ever since that streamer showed up with those origami folk that started foling everyone."

"That's actually the reason we're heading that way! You see, those streamers were made by my brother, and we're trying to destroy them so we can get to Peach's castle and save the world."

"Ah, I see. That sounds like a problem indeed. I can help you get to the streamer, if that's what you wish."

"Yes please!"

He met them at the boat. He gave them a smile as they walked onto the boat and used the paddle to push the boat away from the dock. After a little bit of rowing up stream with the comfort of a song from the oarsman, Olivia pointed out how the water was speeding up.

"Oh, that's fine. You see, these are the Eddy River Rapids. They are supposed to go fast." He paddled a little bit more. "Although, these are going quite fast. It's as if somebody filled the river, and kept on filling!"

Bobby and Mario eyed Olivia.

"I didn't know, okay!"

"Watch out!" He swerved the boat around a rock. "This boat cannot take much physical damage, so we'll have to be careful to not hit anything."

The rapids was an adrenaline rush of dodging rocks and fixing non-bottomless holes along the way. Thankfully, the boat didn't suffer any damage and Mario and co. exited safely.

"Here we are, the first stop on the Eddry River Boat Tours."

"Alright guys, we're going to go after the streamer this time. No distractions."

"Shogun Studios," the Toad finished.

"Studios? As in 'fun'?"

The Toad nodded.

"Oh. Wow. How funny that the streamer leads RIGHT into Shogun Studios. Weird, it looks like this one is unavoidable."

"And she says 'no distractions'," Bobby muttered.

"I'm Mizu," the Toad introduced.

"It's-a nice to meet you!"

"I'll scout ahead for any Folded Soldiers," Mizu offered.

"Thanks," Bobby said as Olivia flew to the gates of the studio. "You don't have to go that far."

"No, I insist. It'll make us even for your rescuing me." He paddled on ahead.

"Alright Olivia. We'll go inside." Mario brought out a few coins and payed for a Royalty Pass.

"Yay! We get to have fun-I mean destroy the streamer! Yippee!"

"She can't hide her excitement now, can she?" Bobby scoffed.

"Don't-a be rude. She doesn't get to have-a fun often. She's pushing too much on herself all at once. She's too-a stressed. This'll help relax her for a bit."

"If you say so."

Mario swiped the card into the slot on the gate. It refused to open, so Mario climbed over. Olivia followed him over, and Bobby ducked under.

The park was deserted.
