So Vanessa imagining if she were an animal she would be a wolf is a reference to in the unfinished story Vanessa transformed into a Mutant Wolf and also the influence of a certain 'Wolfaboo' friend of mine, this time the story is really going to eplore the amount of inconvience a human being transformed into a Mutant Animal would be particurally because this time the human doesn't mutate into a Humanoid 'Furry' or fur/feather/scale covered human body with animal head and tail Vanessa isn't even bipedal anymore she's really a giant spider with digits on the ends of her limbs also she has a mouth instead of mandibles which I did so she would be able to speak I imagine she looks a lot like the Black Widow from Tim Burton's Corpse Bride.

After gathering enough energy Vanessa was finally able to turn around so she could follow the Turtles back to their lair.

"So..." Don said "...How do you think you came to Mutate? What do you remember before this happened?"

Vanessa immediately remembered "I went out to get my shoes from under the tree..." She said "...As I was walking barefoot through the grass something sharp pricked my right foot, I distinctly remember two pricks, I'm pretty sure now I stepped on a spider."

Raph shuddered

"Anything else you can remember? Don asked "Any...Ooze-like substances?"

"Not that I can recall." Vanessa said

"Well can you tell us where it happened?" Don asked

Vanessa told the Turtles the adress to her apartment complex.

"Thanks," Don said "We'll check it out tomorrow."

Raph grumbled but otherwise kept his thoughts to himself.

As they entered the Lair, Vanessa saw a mutant rat coming towards them

"My Sons..." Splinter began to say but upon seeing the giangantic spider coming with them, his jaw dropped his eyes widened and for a moment he was at a complete loss for words.

"Sensei..." Don said quickly "...This is Vanessa, she was a human before she stepped on a Spider, remember what I said about my sensors detected a new Mutagen?"

"Indeed..." Splinter said finally getting his bearings back "...It was good that you followed your hunch Donatello..."

Splinter approached Vanessa knowing that she had been a human before she mutated Splinter was now better able to see the hints of humanity in her body language and her facial expressions things a normal insect or arachnid would not do.

"Vanessa...How are you feeling?" He asked

"Before I transformed I felt really ill." The Spider said in a voice that didn't sound much older than 12... "I'm kind of still feeling the reeling, feel kind of dizzy and my stomach still hurts."

"I see." Splinter said sympathetically "Maybe I can make you some of my special tea."

"Can I still drink tea?" Vanessa asked "I mean...Spiders are canrivores..."

"Yeah..." Mikey said he was already being to feel more sympathetic towards Vanessa realizing she was as much a dork about science fiction and fantasy as he was "..But you're a Mutant, we're pretty sure normal Turtles shouldn't eat pizza but I practically eat it morning noon and night!"

Don and Splinter led her to the sofa in front of a pile of television sets they watched

Vanessa tried to figure out how she could sit on the sofa, but her body now being a giant spider abdomen wasn't exactly built for sitting and her abdomen was so bulbous, that trying to lie down on the sofa on her side ended with her falling off the sofa.

The Turtles and Splinter felt horribly sorry for Vanessa, unlike themselves she had mutated away from the humanoid body plan which isn't great when you live in a world where everything is built for those with a human body shape.

So they unfolded the sofa bed and and Vanessa was able to rest on the sofa bed, with her limbs dangling over the edge.

"Now I'm really worried I won't be able to fit in the bathroom..." Vanessa said

"We'll think of something." Don said "Just, try to rest for now."

Vanessa grabbed the TV remote and began flipping through the channels, really she just wanted something for something that would help her mind relax so she would be able to sleep, she settled for some home shopping network and could let her mind be soothed by the soft voices while gazing at the pretty jewelery they were displaying.

That was when she realized something, she had snuck out not telling Mom or Dad where she going!

"Should I call my parents?" She asked

"Um..." Mikey rubbed the back of his head "...What exactly would you say to them 'Hey Mom and Dad I turned into a giant spider so I'm just crashing with some mutant turtles in the sewers?'

Vanessa immediately saw his point, but knew she would not be able to rest easy knowing her parents were going to freak out not knowing where she was, she was also pretty certain she dropped her cell phone when everyone started screaming at her and she dove into the sewers."

Splinter noticed Raph was standing on the far side of the lair quietly sulking.

Splinter walked over to him.

"Raphael..." Splinter said softly "...Is there something you wish to talk to me about?"

Raph squirmed he knew he would come across as unsympathetic so he just said "No Sensei..."

"I know her form is disturbing..." Splinter said knowing Raph's fear of insects "...But remember there is a human girl inside that body."

Raph sighed and said "Just...Remembering Bishop's Mutants, what if she doesn't stay human on the inside? What if she goes nuts?"

"An understandable concern." Splinter said sympathetically "Particurally since we do not know what caused her mutation, but for now we must hope she will not lose her remaining humanity..."

Raph sighed "Good night Sensei."

"Good night My Son." Splinter said

As Vanessa was beginning to feel her eyelids get droopy she heard footsteps, she turned her head and saw Don getting into an armchair and putting up the footrest.

"Don?" She said sleepily

"I realized in case you need anything during the night, I should stay with you so I can help you."

"Thank you..." Vanessa said shyly

Don felt in particular an obligation to help this poor girl because of the time Raph mentioned when he had been infected by Bishop's mutagen and eventually mutated into a mindless beast that resembled Gamera and his brothers had to make a deal with Bishop to find a cure for him.

"I'm scared." Vanessa said "What's going to happen to me?"

"I know..." Don said sympathetically "But look, maybe tomorrow if we can get a sample of the mutagen then maybe we can find a cure."

Vanessa smiled the possibility of hope giving her the courage to close her eyes and drift off to dreamland listening to the TVs...

Don watched her fall asleep, secretly though he was very worried that he wouldn't be able to cure her, he remenbered what happened to Hun being mutated by the 'pink ooze' by they're alternate world selves that worked more like a crossbreeding formula that caused one to take the form of the last animal they came in contact with, in Hun's case he transformed into a giant mutant turtle, and when the worlds seperated he didn't return to being human he had since gone into hiding.

Don closed his eyes this poor girl seemed to have it even worse than Hun, he couldn't imagine how she would be able to move forward form!

None of them had any idea that something was secretly coming to New York City from New Jersey, specifically from Gotham City!

Yes, yes once again bringing in my favorite Batman Villains to cross over with TMNT but this time there is more reason to bring in the BTAS, in the unfinished story the request was this author wanted me to write someone in a Speedo in this case one of the Robins Tim Drake and...Well, this an ironic way of actually fullfilling their request (That they couldn't be bothered to review) only this time it won't be Robin who's wearing a Speedo
