Chapter 18: God Hates Your Outfit

Rebecca had never had a better night then the night before. She and Trent had finished the movie together and then on the way home, they had talked about the plot and the things they liked about the movie and laughing with each other and when they had gotten home, they made beautiful, passionate love before passing out together in a tangle of limbs and sheets, wrapped around them.

The next day dawned, and Rebecca came into awakening, and she smiled softly to herself, turning to look up at Trent, who still held her close to his chest. This man was her Fiancé! Fiancé! It was such an exciting, scary, wonderful, thrilling word! They would be spending the rest of their lives together and the very idea excited her and made body warm. She was a romantic at heart.

Turning a bit to be able to look at him, she lifted her head and kissed him, softly, tenderly, and then trailed her lips lightly across his face and giggled softly. "Good morning my handsome, brilliant, loving Fiancé…." She whispered. GODS! She was so utterly, completely, irrevocably in love and happy!

Trent nestled closer to Rebecca with the most innocent and blissful of sleepy smiles. "Good morning, my beautiful Princess, soon to be Queen," he whispered back. "What can your humble servant get you for breakfast?"

Rebecca let out a soft giggle and cast her eyes up to Trent's. Gently caressing his cheek as she nuzzled him. "You mean, besides you?" She teased lightly. "Whatever my amazing, soon to be King desires this morning. His choice." She said with a hint of a smile.

"Actually, point of interest," Trent said playfully, "a princess who married a King becomes Queen, but a prince who marries a Queen remains a prince." He nuzzled her. "I'll make us waffles," he decided.

He got out of bed and set to work, making fresh cinnamon apple waffles from scratch. One of the things he had brought when moving in was a collection of novelty waffle irons. Today he selected the heart-shaped one.

Stretching after Trent had left, Rebecca had to admit, she felt pretty good. The incident with Nathaniel notwithstanding last night had been the best night of her life! She couldn't wait to marry him!

Sliding out of bed, she donned a light blue robe and tied it around her waist as she went to sit at the table as Trent cooked, after making them both a cup of coffee, she went to sit and enjoy the morning, watching as the man she loved prepared them a meal that smelled Heavenly.

Trent served the waffles with a smile and brought the syrup to the table. He sat next to Rebecca, holding her hand while they ate. This was such bliss. He was enjoying every moment before she left for her spa trip, and then… Monday was going to be a hot mess, he thought dismally, so he would just try to enjoy this time.

The meal was so delicious and filling that Rebecca enjoyed immensely! She would have to learn how to cook like this, if ever she wanted to spoil Trent, or find something he liked and try her hand at that. Love was about give and take, and she wanted to make him as happy as he had made her.

"I've printed out the spa tickets for you and Paula. They're on the desk in my room," he said. "They're basically an all-access pass for treatments. I called ahead and let the spa know to put any purchases you two make from the gift shop on my account. They sell personal massagers and some other adult goodies in the back," he added with his eager, wide-eyed smile. "I hope you two have the best time and come back as relaxed as can be. You, especially, deserve it."

She nearly choked on her coffee as she had totally forgotten about the spa trip! That was TODAY?! She hadn't even told Paula! Noting his wide-eyed smile, Rebecca nearly blushed. "You really are the sweetest." She said with a smile as she finished up her meal and set her coffee aside. "Would you excuse me a moment, Love? I have to call Paula…after last night…well…I forgot."

"Of course, sweetie," he murmured as she got up. He didn't blame her for forgetting about the spa trip in all the whirlwind of last night. He finished his waffles, got up, washed the dishes, and then checked his email. A couple of vendors were available to meet with him on short notice, which was great news! He scheduled the meetings an hour apart, then pocketed his phone, grinning ear to ear as he heard his fiancée squeal from the next room.

She giggled and kissed him before taking her plate to the kitchen and set it in the sink. Going back to the bedroom, she took her cell off the charger and dialed Paula's number.

"Paula! Hey! Yes, I know it's early, but guess what….We are going to the spa today, for the weekend! So get ready!"

Paula had answered and was still a little groggy. "Wait…what? What's going on?"

"My fiancé bought us tickets to have a spa weekend and we leave today!"

That caught Paula's attention and she sat straight up in bed. "Your…WHAT?!" She all but yelled excitedly.

"Fiancé! I'M ENGAGED!" She tried not to squeal but it came out anyway.

"WHAT! NO WAY! TRENT! I mean…WOW…Congratulations! I will get dressed, pack and be right over….you are going to tell me everything and I want to see the ring! See ya in a bit!" And with that she hung up.

Rebecca giggled and came back out to where Trent was waiting, flushed and bashful. Had he heard her squeal in such a girly way? Embarrassing.

He opened his arms for a hug when she came back out. She was so adorable. He was going to miss her, but even though the fact they were getting married was no longer a surprise, he still wanted the plans for the wedding itself to remain a secret.

She went to him, wrapping herself up in his embrace as she hugged him back in return. She had never felt so blissfully happy before and now that her best friend knew, she would be able to share that happiness all over again.

She looked up at him, resting her chin on his chest as she did so. "I love you, Trent." She said with a smile. "You make me so utterly, stupidly happy and I will never get enough of you." Her skin flushed in happiness as she cuddled deeper into his embrace and sighed softly. She savored this moment for a while, but knew they had to get ready to face the day.

"Paula will be here soon. She seemed excited…so…we better get dressed at least before she bursts through that door, cause you know she will…with what I told her." She giggled softly, though she really didn't want to move, it wouldn't do for Paula to walk in on them only half dressed.

Trent chuckled. "You're right," he said. "Our perfect bodies are only for each other."

"Agreed…." Rebecca said with a hint of a purr to her voice. Turning, she made her way to her room and changed into a comfortable pair of jeans and a green and purple t-shirt, since she was leaving and would be traveling to the spa. She wanted to be comfortable. She lugged her suitcase out of her closet where it had sat since her last trip and packed a few pairs of clothes and undergarments she would need as well as her necessities, and then hauled it back to sit by the door.

Trent went to his room and donned a classic grey suit— no turtleneck this time. He stood for a while looking at his tie rack: all silk, most of them grey, green, blue, or some combination of the three.

"I just can't decide…" he said to himself.

Rebecca sat on the sofa and leaned back, relaxing into the soft cushions and closed her eyes a moment. Things were so peaceful….but they wouldn't be for long, as, like a whirlwind, Paula arrived. Knocking only once before she burst through the door in her excitement, just like Rebecca knew she would.

"REBECCA!" She called out loudly, which made Rebecca laugh.

"In here, Paula!" She replied, sitting up.

Paula made a beeline for friend and sat beside her, giving her a tight hug before taking her hand in hers and her eyes flew open wide in shock. "Holy Mother of GOD! Look at the SIZE of that rock!" She exclaimed, as her eyes flew to Rebecca's.

Rebecca laughed and smiled and felt herself flush. "Beautiful, isn't it?"

"Ok…you…spill…now!" Paula grinned at her friend. "I want to hear everything! And don't you dare leave a thing out!"

The story was completely different in another household. George woke first this time and slipped out of the bed he had shared with Nathaniel and went to shower, before dressing. Walking into the kitchen, he made Nathaniel a strong cup of coffee and an actual breakfast that he would make the man eat if he had too. No more of this starving yourself, while chugging pills and alcohol crap! He was pissed!

Heading back to the bedroom, he stood at the door and in a raised voice but not yelling he called out. "Nathaniel! Wake up!" He crossed his arms across his chest and sighed then tried again. "NATHANIEL! GET. UP!" Still he didn't have to yell for his voice to carry.

He was still holding in his emotions from last night and he was so hurt at how he had found Nathaniel. He had told George that he had loved him and then what he had heard Nathaniel say to Trent…it was heartbreaking. Well, today, Nathaniel would get a piece of his mind!

Nathaniel's head hurt like a bitch. God, he'd had hangovers every morning since he'd been in the hospital. He blinked awake, scowling, and glared at George.

"What's your problem, man?" he demanded. He had nothing to do today; why was George waking him up?

"Don't get me started on what my problem is, right now Nathaniel. Get up! Be at the table in five minutes or I will personally douse you with a pitcher of water!" He said harshly with an eyebrow raise.

"Would be terrible if that ruined your expensive sheets. Now let's go!" So saying, he turned back and went to plate up the eggs, bacon, toast and hashbrowns he had made. Nathaniel would eat every bite of this and then…then they would talk.

Nathaniel was not going to put up with this. He got up, all right, and then he grabbed George by the elbow as he was leaving the room.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" he asked icily. "Lest we forget, you work for me. Unless you'd like me to fire you yet again?"

George was a little surprised by Nat's roughness but at least he got out of bed. "I think I am the person that saved you hide last night, Nat. When you draped yourself over Trent and left that beautiful woman you were dating behind." He pulled away and glared at him, but his anger had softened a bit. Knowing that Nat had probably taken something to get that way as he would never act out like that if he could help it, least of all in public.

"Now, you come eat breakfast, and you will eat all of it, and then we have a few things to discuss." So saying, he turned and went back to sit at the table, giving Nat a look that said he better be good and do as told. George knew the fine line and this time he was pushing it…but only because he cared!

What? Nathaniel didn't remember anything like that. "What are you talking about?" he asked. "I didn't even see Trent last night. No. Cat and I went to Providence, and then… Wait…" His confusion increased. What had happened after that? He'd bought movie tickets, but hadn't he fallen asleep before they'd seen the movie?

He followed George to the dining room, lost in thought. As he sat down and started eating absent-mindedly, he posed this question:

"George… Where did you pick me up from last night?"

"From the sit in and eat movie theater." George answered simply. "Trent texted me. Said you needed to be picked up IMMIDEATELY. So… I came, got you and took you home."

He tilted his head slightly in confusion at the other man. "How do you think you got home last night? Where do you think that woman you were with went? Honestly Nat, you need to start taking better care of yourself….and I will make sure you do."

He dug into his own plate of food and shook his head. "Starting with eating more. No more starving yourself." He cast an eye back at the man before him. "There is difference in being fit and starving and you are pushing it."

"I… I figured you picked me up," Nathaniel said haltingly, "because my car isn't here. I don't remember anything after dinner, but I do remember buying movie tickets."

Nathaniel frowned at George. "I do not starve myself. I just prefer to eat healthy. You could stand to lose a few pounds before you talk to me about my diet," he said.

George shot Nat a look that was both reproachful and filled with a little sadness, but more so the anger kind. "Then explain how you don't remember much of last night if you take such good care of yourself." He threw back at him. "Let's get through breakfast, and then we can hash out the rest. I want to help you, Nat, not fight with you. You could be so much better than this…getting drunk and throwing yourself at a man who you hate, embarrassing yourself in public. Nat! That isn't you!" George gave a sigh and sipped his coffee. "Are you gonna call that woman again? I think at least you should apologize to her."

He shook his head and rose to go wash the dishes, and went to stand beside Nat's side, hand held out. "The pills Nat, where are they?" His voice hinted at a no-nonsense tone. He wanted to help Nat, but knew he was in for a fight if Nat got it in his head to be stubborn. Why did he have to be that way? Couldn't he see how much George loved him? I mean, if he forgot last night, did that mean that he didn't remember their night?! He tried not to think about that, and instead focused on the here and now and now, he was with Nat.

"I said I don't starve myself," Nathaniel snapped. "I may have made a mistake and taken my pain pills with alcoh…ohhhhhhh." He closed his eyes in embarrassment. He finished his breakfast, then went to the bedroom and grabbed his phone.

"According to this email confirmation, the movie would have started ten or twenty minutes after I took my pain pill, and— wait, I…" He blinked.

"I did see Trent. And Rebecca. They were toasting…something… and they offered champagne to Cat and me." Bits and pieces were coming back to him. "But after that, it's…hazy. I don't remember last night. Just like I don't remember the night before…"

He sat there, staring hollowly as George continued to harangue him, taking in nothing.

George's heart snapped in two and he seemed to deflate right before Nat's eyes. He…didn't…remember? Ohhhh, that hurt so much! No wonder he acted so odd that next morning. He should have known, nothing would ever be easy with Nat.

"You took your pill with alcohol! NAT!" He wasn't letting this go though. "You know better! Why would you do something that stupid!" Now he was more upset that Nat was purposely trying to hurt himself and he didn't seem to realize it.

"So you did see Trent and Rebecca? Well, leastways you remember that!" He nearly spit. It hurt, Dammit, that Nat didn't remember their night. But he sighed and motioned to Nat's phone. "Call that woman back. Apologize. She deserves it at least, coming from you. No more excuses."

"I don't have to answer to you," Nathaniel barked. "And stop calling me 'Nat', and for God's sake, stop acting like my personal choices have any impact on your life! You're not my nanny! Why are you being so nosy? Just do what I am paying you to do, if you're not going to tell me why you've had a bug up your ass for the past two days. I'm getting sick of your FUCKING ATTITUDE!"

George had had enough to Nat's attitude as well. He was spiraling out of control and didn't seem to realize it or care. That made him so angry cause he knew Nat was better than this! Had seen him at his best and this wasn't it! Something inside of him boiled over at Nat's tirade and before he could stop himself, George was yelling back at him!

"Because I LOVE YOU, you stupid, blind, impossible man!" His passion tinted his voice as he took a few steps closer to where Nathaniel sat and looked at him with such a look of pain that it would be hard for Nat not to feel. If he was in his right mind at least.

"You are so blind to everything around you that you don't even know when you have someone who would do anything for you when they are standing right in front of you. Why do you think I try to help you so much? Why do you think that I cook things I know you like, clean for you, make sure you have everything you need for the day before it even begins, sets your schedules out so it makes work easier for you, gives you massages free of charge when you ask it and takes what abuse and threats that you throw at me on a daily basis without seeming to realize! Who would so any of that if they didn't love you!" He argued back.

"You are so stupid, mixing alcohol with your pills…it's no wonder you blacked out! No wonder you threw yourself at a man you hate and made a fool of yourself when you can't even remember the night we shared together! The things we did together! Who else do you think left those scratches on your skin, marks on your body? Hmmm? WHO! YOU ASKED ME TO, and I thought we had shared something wonderful together because at during, you said you LOVED me!" He simmered down some and shook his head. Fighting his emotions.

"But it wasn't real, was it? Because you can't remember….that hurts me, Nat. You have no idea how your actions affect others…none."

Nathaniel just stared at George. "You're out of your goddamn mind," he hissed. "I. Pay. You. For all the services you have been providing. If you're unhappy with your pay rate, just ask for a raise! Like a normal employee! What is wrong with you?

"What… THE FUCK? DID YOU JUST SAY?!" Nathaniel exploded. "You— I TOOK A SEDATIVE TO RELAX BEFORE THE MASSAGE, AND YOU FUCKING TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME!? AFTER I TOLD YOU WHAT TRENT DID TO ME?! DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE MORALIZE AT ME ABOUT HURTING YOU! THAT'S WHERE ALL THESE SCRATCHES CAME FROM!? I COULD HAVE YOU THROWN IN PRISON, GEORGE! WHY ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH WOULD I ASK YOU TO— I DON'T— WHAT THE FUCK!? "

He just barely restrained himself from hitting George. He backed away, horrified. Then he ran to his room, threw on a bathrobe, and bolted out the door.

"Took advantage! I DIDN'T KNOW YOU TOOK A SEDATIVE! YOU WERE OFF GETTING READY IN YOUR ROOM WHILE I WAS PREPARING THE MASSAGE! SO DON'T YOU THREATEN ME NAT!" George managed to get out before Nat bolted. He couldn't believe that this morning had turned out this way.

Nat was threatening him? Jail? For what? For doing what he was told…no, ASKED by a man that paid him for it? This was such a disaster, and there would be things he had to put on hold for now.

Nat had bolted in nothing more than a bathrobe. Great. Giving a sigh, George turned and headed out the door after locking up. He had to find Nat.

Josh picked up Greg on the way and they drove to the park. It looked like Nathaniel had forgotten to get dressed.

"So… How'd your date go?" Josh asked, sitting down at the picnic table across from Nathaniel.

Greg was curious to hear how his friends date had gone, and so had agreed to pick up Josh and meet at a nearby park, but when they arrived, he noticed that something wasn't right. For starters, Nathaniel wasn't dressed and that was weird, considered he knew the man to be very conscious about his image. For him to show up that way…something must really be bothering him.

"Apparently I don't remember half of it," Nathaniel said miserably. "You know those prescription pain pills I'm on from when Trent fucking put me in the hospital?" he seethed. "Well, there may have been a surprise toast and…it's a mess, you guys. But I can tell you what I do remember. Cat is amazing. She's beautiful, smart, and she doesn't let things get to her. I really like this girl. The only weird thing is, she talks about her brother a lot. I'm assuming it's her older brother because she has that little sister worship vibe. They're from some flyover state— Iowa, because she said she went to Drake—"

"Aww!" Josh cooed. "She went to duck school? That's so cute!"

"Uh— and he went out of state, to Harvard, because their folks could only afford to send one of them out of state." He gave Josh a funny look. "Josh, Drake University is a regular college. It's in Des Moines. It has nothing to do with ducks."

"But isn't a drake a duck? Wait… I'm confused…"

Nathaniel ignored that. "She also said he likes turtlenecks, because his neck gets cold. I told her that's why I was wearing a scarf, but I didn't know that was a real thing.

Sitting down across from him, he listened as Nathaniel described his date and as he talked, Greg got a sinking sensation in his stomach. What he was describing was beyond believable and hearing the facts Nathaniel had learned about Cat, and putting two and two together way before Josh did (cause let's face it, Josh is a lost cause in the thinking department), Greg just openly stared at him by the time he was finished. Was the man that blind!?

"So she talks a lot about her big brother, and none of what she said about him rang any bells to you?" He asked incredulously, ignoring Josh, who just looked confused again. "Are you that blind, Nathaniel? None of it caught your attention, at all!?"

"Look man, I was not my usual suave self during that date. I spent most of it saying the wrong thing and then cringing over it. So no, nothing she said sounded weird to me."

"Yeah Greg, what are you talking about?" asked Josh.

Ignoring Josh, Nathaniel continued. "So during dinner I suggested we go see a movie. Driving to the theater is the last thing I do remember, but…" He pulled out his phone. "Here's the confirmation email for the ticket I bought. 'The Ultimate Grayson'. It's a slasher/thriller. According to the time it started, I would have taken my pill just a few minutes before. I remember Trent and Rebecca were there, and they had champagne… they offered it to Cat and me… Everything after that is just gone. George says he drove me home and that I was draped all over Trent. But I don't know how much I can trust George. He said some pretty crazy shit this morning."

Josh took the phone from Nathaniel. "Hey, cool!" he said. "Greg— look! One of the lead actors looks like Trent! Ha! Hey…what does NC-17 mean?"

Greg looked over at the phone when Josh showed him the clips of the movie and what it was about and shook his head at seeing the actor who looked exactly like Trent. Gods in Heaven, Nathaniel was DUMB! "Honestly, you didn't believe George either, when he said he drove you home and you were hanging all over Trent? Look! One of the actors looks just like him, and still none of what Cat said about her brother clicks with you?" He looked disgusted at his friend. He couldn't believe this at all. He tossed Josh a look. "And NC-17 means no one under 17 admitted. Basically he took his date to a porno with a character who looked exactly like Trent!"

Nathaniel blanched when Josh mentioned the actor, and again when Greg explained NC-17. "Wha—? Oh. Oh my GOD. No. No, I— shit! I didn't look into the movie! I thought it was just a regular movie. FUCK! Oh god, Cat! She's never going to want to see me again! I took her to a PORNO on our first date?! Shitfuck shitfuck shitfuck…"

"No— I believe he drove me home. But there's no way I would have been within ten feet of Trent willingly! Come on! You guys KNOW that! And— look, forget about Cat's brother, he has nothing to do with this, it was just odd that she talked about him a lot, but to be fair, I also talked about Rebecca."

"Forget about Cat's brother? Nathaniel, he has everything do to with this! Why can't you see that!" Greg all but shouted at him. Motioning with his hands at how disgusted he was with his friend. He felt helpless and just wanted to shake him. HE could see it, plain as day. Why couldn't Nathaniel!

"So, what else did George say? Or do I even want to know." He cut his eyes at Nathaniel. George, everyone at the office knew that that man adored Nathaniel, that he practically worshipped the ground Nathaniel walked on. Why would Nathaniel suddenly not believe George?

Nathaniel grimaced at Greg's question. "I asked George for a massage, and, knowing I was tenser than usual, I took some Atarax to make things a bit easier. He thinks that, after it kicked in, I asked him for more than that."

"You know what…I really don't want to deal with this stupidity right now. Go home!" Greg said as he stood. "Get dressed at least. Take a shower, get some help, DO SOMETHING! I can't believe you hit on Trent! Of ALL people." Whether Nathaniel believed George or not, Greg knew enough about the man to know he wouldn't lie to Nathaniel. Least, he didn't think he would.

"Get some help Nathaniel, honestly. Cause if you can't see what's happening right in front of you then you really are lost." He looked away, shaking his head. "Josh, you coming? Cause I am out of here. So much stupidity around here, I can't breathe properly…"

Nathaniel shrugged the robe off his shoulders, pulling it off and putting it in his lap so he wouldn't be indecent, showing his friends his body covered in bruises and scratches. "George said I asked him for sex, and to do this. But— I wouldn't! I'm not interested in any man right now, and he works for me! That would be completely inappropriate. And I'm NOT going home. I asked George to stay with me while we figured out this mess with Trent. I don't feel like dealing with him.

"And I DIDN'T hit on Trent! What, and give him yet another opening to…do what he did again? No!"

Greg could only blink at hearing the rest of the story and was at a complete loss of what to say or do. Something was really wrong with Nathaniel if he couldn't put two and two together to get four out of all of this.

If he thought this day was weird, it was nothing compared to what Nathaniel did next. He couldn't help but stare as his seemingly 'out-of-it' friend, who was so naturally composed, took off his bathrobe and sat it in his lap. In public! For under it, Nathaniel was completely naked! Greg's mind had fried by that point, and he had to blink a few times to make sure that what he was seeing was real, to try and jump start his brain.

Nathaniel was covered in scratches and bruises and hearing what he said, Greg lost almost all respect for his friend. Not because of his choices, but because of his denial. Greg could see it, plain as day on Nathaniel's face. And the way he had worded it….'Not interested in any man right now.' did that mean Nathaniel liked men? It was almost too much.

"Nathaniel! Look at yourself! What are you doing!" Greg exclaimed as he motioned to his disrobed friend. "Cover up! You are in public for gods' sakes man!"

He wasn't getting in the middle of the whole Nathaniel-George thing, but he did lock onto what Nathaniel was ranting about, about Cat. "So, if you are upset, call and apologize! Have you done that yet? Gods, you are so disgusting today! Go home, get dressed, call Cat, and work your shit out! I am serious man, you look awful! Do something to help yourself."

He shook his head and turned to leave. "Josh! Come on or get left behind."

Josh didn't get what Greg was on about and he and Nathaniel sat there making confused faces at each other while Greg ranted.

"Whoa," Josh said. "Dude, you look like Greg did that time he got drunk and had sex with a bush."

Nathaniel nodded; he'd thought that might be the case.

But something did click in his brain. Greg was right, he was completely starkers. And he hadn't gone out this way last night, but he had woken up naked…which meant…

"Son of a BITCH!"

Trent finally selected a blue and green striped tie and grabbed his briefcase. He still had time to run an errand before his meetings.

"And that's pretty much the entire night." Rebecca smiled whimsically up at her friend who seemed to glow with excitement. She had glossed over the experience with Nathaniel, not wanting to ruin the mood nor take away from her joy, and Paula had only rolled her eyes at her mentioning him, so she knew everything now.

"Gods…that is so romantic." Paula gushed. "Who knew Trent was capable of something like that!"

"Me! I did." Rebecca giggled. "Well, I knew he is a total romantic, but something like that…I was just floored with excitement, and I couldn't Belie—"

"Sorry to interrupt, ladies," he said, kissing Rebecca's cheek and watching her for a reaction to him wearing a full suit and tie for once instead of a turtleneck and jeans. "Have a wonderful girls' weekend at the spa. I've got some things to take care of— all good things— but I might text you some questions here and there."

Rebecca trailed off as Trent came out of his room. Her eyes went wide. Paula, seeing her friend's reaction, looked back over her shoulder and her jaw dropped.

"TRENT!?" They both said as one.

Rebecca recovered first as he came over to kiss her cheek. She smiled and was hiding her thoughts. Damn, that man cleaned up good, and was thinking how she would love to shred those clothes off him one piece at a time.

"Thanks babe. I will see you when I get back! Love you!" She said as Trent turned to leave and then looked back at Paula, who was still wide eyed and together, they both squealed!

Trent had been pleased at the ladies' reaction to his suit. But really, it was a slight preview to what he would wear at the end of the aisle on their wedding day.

He took an Uber to the movie theater and found Nathaniel's car. He had copied Nathaniel's keys a while ago, and now that copy would come in handy. He drove the car back to Nathaniel's apartment and honked the horn twice to let whoever was home know the car was back.

At Nathaniel's apartment, he checked his watch. He still had some time to kill before his first appointment, and he and Nathaniel needed to have a conversation, so after confirming no one was home, he let himself in and sat down on the living room couch to wait.

xoxo

Rebecca and Paula gossiped all the way to the spa. Both stopping short in the parking lot as soon as they pulled up. The place was massive, complete with valet parking and the sight of it about did them both in.

"Oh My…" Rebecca said in shock.

"God!" Paula finished for her!

They quickly found a parking spot and taking their things inside, set out to have the most perfect, relaxing weekend ever!

George had never been so worried in all his life! Nat had gone, out of the house, completely undressed and he was worried about his mental state by this point. Where could he have gone!

It didn't take him long to figure out though, as the park was the closest place he could think of to begin to look for him and after arriving, it didn't take him long to spot Greg, who was leaving in a huff, with Josh trailing after. Nat had to be here.

Walking a few more miles, he spotted Nat sitting at a picnic table, with his robe draped over his hips. This was the most shocking thing George had ever witnessed. Was…was Nat going crazy?

"Nat?" He ventured softly, gently as he approached. "What are you doing out here? Come on…let's get you home. You aren't yourself. Alright?"

"Get away from me," Nathaniel snarled, "and I told you to stop calling me Nat." He turned to face George. "Where. Do you. Get off. Stripping me? When you KNEW. I was blackout drunk?" Icicles dripped from Nathaniel's every word….

"Wow!" was all George had to say to Nat's tirade before he found words to continue. "The fact that you sit there and act like the injured party, when it was YOU who told me to do….that…" He trailed off, using his hands and then shook his head. "Anyway, I know how you sleep, Nat—Nathaniel. I didn't do anything to you last night cause I knew you wouldn't remember but the other night, I didn't know you had taken that pill or I wouldn't have put myself through this pain either."

He spoke a little harshly, but still calmly. "Last night, I simply got you out of your sweaty, gross clothes and tucked you into bed and then went to sleep myself. So there is nothing you can say to complain." His eyes shot dagger at Nat though, he was still so hurt. "Now come on! You can't sit out here, in the park where there might be children completely naked!" He paused. "I will go somewhere today then, if you want. So you can be home alone. Just…go home. Get dressed. At least let me help you get there."

Nathaniel threw back his head and laughed derisively. "It's rich how you're trying to play some kind of martyr role right now when you KNOW exactly what I've been through," he snapped, putting his robe back on. "I don't know what you THINK I said or did, but you're wrong. I invited you to stay with me to HELP me and instead you're…" He broke off before he could accuse George of 'helping himself'. He didn't want to think about it. "You had no right to take off my clothes," he said flatly. "I don't care what your justification is." But he did allow George to accompany him home. They needed to have a long talk.

George didn't say another word as it was clearly obvious that Nathaniel wasn't going to listen and accept whatever he had to say anyway. He turned and walked at Nathaniel's side as they made their way home. He was not looking forward to that talk that they were apparently going to have. George could tell, by the look in Nathaniel's eyes, that that was what the man was thinking.

But, when they got closer to the house, George paused. "Nathaniel? What—what is your car doing in the driveway? I drove you home, and your car was left at the theater!?" He looked over at Nathaniel, to see if he knew what was going on. Had he asked someone to drive it home for him?

"This doesn't make any sense…" He muttered to himself as he opened the door to the house and walked in, clearly not seeing the hulking man, lounging on his couch till he turned around.

"You have got to be shitting me! TRENT! What are you doing here?!"
