"Geoff went all out for this party so I'm really excited for you to come! Maybe you can help me stop Geoff from drinking too much." Bridgette said walking next to Courtney in the school hallway.
"Just tell Geoff if he drinks at the party no sex," Courtney said shrugging, Stopping by her locker.
"What no sex! But how would I live?!" Bridgette said dramatically.
Courtney rolled her eyes "do you want a relive what happened at Heather's party?"

"WOOOOOO EGGS BACON GRITS!" Geoff screamed loudly with a cup on his hand standing on a pool table.
"SAUSAGE!" People screamed back dancing and drinking.
Geoff drunkenly jumped off the table and fell on the floor laughing his ass off.
"Geoff are you okay!" Bridgette said running up to Geoff.
"You are so hot! You almost look like my girlfriend?" He said looking at her staring hard at Bridgette's face.
"Geoff I am your girlfriend," Bridgette said picking up his cowboy hat that fell off his head off the floor and putting it back in his head.

"What?" Bridgette said confused.
"You're my girlfriend's twin sister! Bailey?!?" He said before getting up sloppily.
"Geoff I don't have a twin sister. How much have you drinked?" She said waving her hand in his face.

Geoff just started screaming and ran away screaming before falling "Bridgette! Where are you!."

Bridgette winced "yeah on second thought I'll steal your idea." She said waiting for Courtney at her locker.
"I thought you were going with Geoff off campus for lunch?" Courtney said putting her books inside her locker.
"Well yeah, but I wanted to wait for you." She said leaning against the locker next to hers.
"No no don't worry go. I want you to be on time not late." Courtney said reaching into her backpack.
"Are you sure I just don't want to leave you here by yourself?" Bridgette said biting her lip.
"Yes, bridge I'll be fine! Go have fun." Courtney exclaimed reaching to hug Bridgette, which she returned.
Bridgette smiled and started walking off but turned around. "Are you sure? Like 100%?" She asked worriedly.

"Okay okay! Thank you." She smiled before walking down the hallway out of sight.
Courtney realized how messy her locker was and it was only a few more hours till school ends.
She debated whether or not she should clean out her locker but quickly thought no she'll just do it tomorrow or after school.
She put the rest of her books in her locker trying to make them fit and put her backpack in and closed it only carrying a cute black handbag and began walking to the cafeteria.
Her phone started ringing in her bag, she stopped walking and went into her bag for her phone.
When she found it, it was just a stupid number from Florida calling. "Stupid assholes..." she mumbled before putting her phone back where it once was.
"So you think I wouldn't find out about your little plan." A male voice called from behind her.
Courtney quickly turned around not knowing who was behind her but she ended up seeing Justin.
Courtney just rolled her eyes and tried to walk away.
I don't have time for his bullshit.
But Justin jogged in front of her getting in her way "Where are you going?" He said folding his well-built arms.
"Away from you, the smell of stupidity wafting from your head is giving me a headache." She said before trying to go around him again just for him to get in the way.
Courtney huffed agitatedly "Do you still like me or something cause why the fuck are you still bothering me!?" She yelled annoyed.
"I can ask you the same thing! Teaming up with Heather and Alejandro to try to take me down."
"I don't give a flying fuck about you!" She said flatly glaring harshly at him.
"That's not what I heard," Justin said shrugging.
"Why are you so obsessed with me?" She said this time crossing her arms. She clearly struck a nerve cause she saw anger flash in his eyes. She quickly turned around to walk the other way but he grabbed her wrist roughly.
"Your still stuck on me I have you wrapped around my perfect finger when I say jump you jumped. remember those days." He said towering over her.
Courtney snatched her wrist out of his grasp. "Yeah past tense asshole." She said
"Just face it you are never going to get over me!"
"Justin leave me the fuck alone," Courtney shouted at him.
"You want to be with me so bad, don't you? well, guess what? I don't want you and neither does anyone else," Justin said then laughing.
Courtney was going to reply but another voice beat her to it.
"What the hell are you doing to my girlfriend!" She heard someone yell.
Courtney turned around to see Duncan stalking towards them his eyes fixated on Justin.
"if you ever talk to Princess like that again I'll be in jail for beating the living shit out of you," Duncan said glaring so coldly, it looked like he'd send Justin to hell.
Justin glared "yeah right you're not dating this loser nobody wants Courtney and nobody wants the scum of the earth either!" Courtney would've felt offended at her words and defended herself but she was so shocked and confused.
The next thing Courtney know Duncan towered over Justin and punched him in the face. Courtney nearly gasped in surprise.
What is up with the world today.
Then Duncan grabbed her hand.
"Duncan what ar-" Courtney started but was cut off when Duncan pulled her body close to his and kissed her.
Courtney was going to push him away but then she realized how good of a kisser he was and ended up getting lost on the way he felt against her when she heard something.

Duncan pulled away from the kiss and Courtney felt dazed for a second before snapping back in reality. She turned around to see Sierra with her phone "You guys are sooo cute together wait till I post this on the school blog!" She said excitedly before running to the school newspaper room.
"Sierra no we're not!" Courtney started but stopped cause there wasn't any point, Sierra was still going to post it regardless.
Courtney looked at Duncan to yell at him but noticed him staring at Justin. For the first time, Courtney saw something in Justin that she's never seen before. Fear

"Just meet me after school like we planned," he said before walking off leaving her so he wouldn't get slapped.
"I'm not meeting you anywhere!" She yelled after him but he just kept walking.
Courtney huffed angrily and stormed the opposite direction to find Heather.

Courtney and Heather were in their last period of the day in the back of the class. People keep locking back there cause of the picture Sierra posted on the school and off school blog.
"So you're telling me. He kissed you? And Sierra?" Heather repeated back to her to make sure she understood.

"Well, you could use this to your advantage!" Heather said filing her nail with a nail file.

"Think about it Justin is an ass and obviously is scared of Duncoroid 3000 so-"
"No way!" Courtney exclaimed, "I can't stand Duncan plus he's gonna have that stupid smirk and just ugh no way out of the question."
"Look hun there's only so much me and Alejandro and Geoff and to an extent Bridgette. We're not going to be there 24/7 plus you have classes with him and there's more impact a boyfriend can do than a friend." Heather said making a point to Courtney.
"There's no way that's going to work! He's not going to go with that especially with me." Courtney said folding her arms.
"Sorry to break it to you but he already did." She said shrugging.
Courtney scoffed rolling her eyes but her thoughts started taking over.

The bell rang and Courtney debated on if she should meet Duncan or not. But then she remembers the butterflies and the kiss he gave her.

Courtney immediately started heading towards her car, her heels clicking with every step. The looks she got from guys didn't go unnoticed but she didn't pay them any mind. Her song went off so she looked through her Apple Music to see those songs she should play.

She didn't know which one to choose but she felt in a rebellious mood so she played what the hell.
She walked to her car unlocking it and getting in. She disconnected her AirPods and put them in her charging case before putting them in her bag. Then she connected her phone to her stereo blasting the song.
People gave her strange looks and some gave her looks of approval before Courtney started her car and drove home.

She turned off disconnected her music from the car before gathering her things from the car before licking her bar and strutted from her car to her door.
"All my life I've been good but now..." she said mumbling the lyrics to the song unlocking her door and going inside.
She went inside and went straight upstairs to her room. She already knew her parents weren't home cause their car wasn't in the driveway.
She threw her backpack on the floor and put her handbag on her desk before kicking her heels off. She changed out of her clothes changing into her pink 2 piece set pajamas (her pajamas from the show) and laid down taking advantage of her free day.
Nearly falling asleep her phone started ringing scaring her making her sit up.
She angrily grabbed her phone and looked at what the hell woke her up and it was Duncan.
Duncan: Where are you I've been here for 15 minutes?
Courtney just left him on seen and laid back down.
But after 5 minutes she got hungry. All she ate today was 2 smoothies. She got up and went downstairs debating on what she should eat. She was really craving some brownies and sushi.
She went back upstairs to get her phone and went back downstairs and called the sushi place while she was making her brownies.
She played her song, singing along loudly.

Right as she bends down to the oven to put the brownies into the oven she heard knocking.
She rolled her eyes not really wanting to talk to anyone.
She put her brownies into the oven and closed it. She took off her apron while turning off her blasting music and walked to the door to see who it was. But didn't feel like it so she just yelled "Who is it" Standing right by the door.
"Was that Princess swearing!?!" Said a voice in a joking tone.
Courtney froze, it was Duncan.

"G-go away!" She yelled walking away.
"Babe if you don't open the door I'm going have to unlock it myself." He said teasingly from behind the door.
Courtney bit her lip knowing he was somewhat serious. He didn't have a criminal record for nothing.
She sighed annoyed opening the door.
Duncan smirked looking at her making Courtney blush and her heart speed up.

"Nice outfit almost as hot as the one you wore earlier today." He said looking her up and down.
This time Courtney's whole face went red.
She quickly went into the house "this has got to be the worst day ever." She mumbled under her breath.
Duncan whistled looking around impressed, closing the door behind him. "nice castle you got here."
Courtney just ignored that comment "why are you here." She asked bluntly.
"You're saying that like we didn't already have plans together." He said sitting at the island
"Well, maybe we would have studied if you haven't done that repulsive action and made Sierra post me on the stupid blog!" She yelled at him angrily.
Duncan's smirk didn't falter.
"Why the hell are you smirking? You think this is funny!?" Said getting more frustrated.
"Yeah cause if it was so "repulsive " " he said using quotation marks with his hands. "Then why did you kiss me back?" He said licking his lips looking at her.
Courtney froze.

"Let me answer that for you. Cause you liked it." He said knowingly.
"I did not!" She said rolling her eyes in disgust.

Courtney was going to reply when her doorbell rang.
She thanked her lucky stars for the distraction before grabbing money off the counter and went to the door and opened it.
Cody opened the door 19.4-" he stopped looking at Courtney.
"Woah this is like a dream of mine!" Cody said excitedly.
Courtney looked at him confused "what is ?"
"I deliver to some hot girls house that's half-dressed and she pays and I come in and undress her and-"
"Ugh." She said cutting him off shoving the money in his arms and snatching her food and slamming the door in his face.
Duncan just started laughing "fuck that was funny." He said after calming down.
Courtney just sat her food on the counter and sat next to him.
"What do you want." She said eating her sushi.
Duncan just took her sushi "I have a proposition for you."
"Aht don't eat my food." She said glaring at him.
Duncan put his arms up in surrender chewing her sushi.
Courtney shot him another glare before asking. "what kind of proposition. "
"I want to be your fake boyfriend. And before you say anything, it can be beneficial to both of us." He said.
"Okay say if I say yes to this ridiculous idea. What do I get out of it." She said rolling her eyes.
"I keep that asshole Justin away from you and you get me temporarily." He said smirking.
Courtney just have him a flat look.
"Okay, and what do you get out of it?" She asked him suspiciously.
"Simple. I make Gwen jealous and I get her back." He says leaning one arm on the island.
"No." She says getting up and getting an oven glove and getting the brownies out the oven out the oven.
"What why?" He said surprised he said no.
She put the brownies on a plate and put them on a plate.
While Courtney back was turned he stole her food.
Courtney turned around and sat down putting a plate of fudge brownies by her.
"Cause Trent is a friend of mine. Secondly, I don't need help keeping Justin away from me. I capably fine with doing that by myself."
"Oh yeah and how's that going." He said looking at her unconvinced.
Courtney just rolled her eyes in response.
"And so what you like wannabe Elvis. You're not doing this to break up them I am you're doing it for a whole other reason." Duncan said shrugging.
"His name is Trent. I'm not ruining his relationship." She said finality before stuffing her face with sushi.
"Please! Who says it would even work!" Duncan said pleadingly.
"Duncan-"
"Courtney. Please. I really care for her and I know she does for me." Duncan said quietly.
Courtney heard the vulnerability in his voice and sighed.
"Fine."
"Fine since you- wait what," he said defeatedly then stopped looking at her shocked.
"But you can't do anything besides this fake relationship to sabotage it," Courtney said.
Duncan got up excitedly and hugged her tight as he could.
Courtney just rolled her eyes with a small smile. Before getting serious again "and don't get too handsy either."
"Can't promise that babe." He said smirking.
"Ugh!" Courtney exclaimed pushing him off her.
"Hey, where are your parents?" Duncan said looking around.
"They're at the country club meeting some people for a conference." She said getting up grabbing her food and her brownies and going upstairs.
Duncan followed her interested in seeing her room.
When she got into her room she put her brownies and sushi on the desk and sat on her bed.
Courtney looked at Duncan looking around her room and sighed "why are you still here."
Duncan came out from her bathroom and smirked. "We need to practice duhh," Duncan said sitting on the bed next to her.
"Practice what?" She said confused.
"Well if people asked us questions when and how we got together we have to know that also we have to practice our appearances."
"Okay we started going out yesterday and Sierra caught you helping after Justin was being a weirdo.." She sighed said throwing her arms dramatically.
"Well yeah and we have to go to the party together." He said getting up to grab a triple fudge brownie.
"But I was planning to go with Heather and Bridgette!" She exclaimed annoyed.
"I guess not anymore." He said swallowing the bite of the brownie.
Courtney just rolled her eyes.
"Oh yeah and wear something hot." He said shooting her a cynical smirk.
Courtney just glowered at him.
"And we need to practice kissing and doing couple things." He said nonchalantly.
"Practice? I don't need to practice." Courtney said offendedly.
Duncan just rolled his eyes.
And kissed her again.
Courtney frozen up pushed him away.
"What the hell are you doing?!" She sputtered taken off guard.
Duncan just rolled his eyes " see what I mean that's why. You can't act like this every time we kiss."
"Well, you took me off guard!" Courtney exclaimed defensively.
"That's going to happen a lot and you have to get ready for it. You need to relax babe."
Courtney just stayed silent in response and Duncan continued "if we're gonna really sell this then we have to look as realistic as possible." He said finishing off the brownie.
"Okay, whatever. What are we practicing first?" She said getting on her phone to distract her.
"Well first PDA., " he said standing up.
Courtney stood up as well not wanting to be told what to do.
"So say if I came up behind you," Duncan said walking behind Courtney and circling his arms around her waist and pulling her close.
Courtney had to fight the urge to not tense up. She felt her one normal heartbeat turn irregular.
"Exactly relax. Then let's say Justin walks by and I do this. "
Then dips his head near his neck and places soft kisses along the base of her neck.
Courtney's breath hitches and she silently throws her head back as his kisses get bolder and bolder.
His hands travel from up her hips to her flat stomach then started heading down back south. Courtney bit her lip anticipating the touch. Courtney felt her mind go in and out again. She felt her goosebumps rise on her skin.
But the feeling was gone he pulled away leaving Courtney feeling flustered.
"Good now we got that down and if you can master that I'm sure you can master kissing," Duncan said sitting on her bed again.
Courtney stood there flushed and Duncan sent her a knowing smirk.
She felt bummed that he didn't choose to kids her again.
She just rolled her eyes stirring down gaining control of herself again.
"Is that it?" She said wanting this to end.
"For now," he said getting on his phone checking his phone.
"Dammit." He muttered angrily.
"What?" She asked confused.
"I have to go home but I really don't want to so I'm not." He shrugged and laid back on her bed.
"Aren't your parents going to be mad?" She asked shocked.
"I really don't care what they think or feel." He said getting up and grabbing another brownie.
"Aren't you worried about how that makes them look with other people?" She asked clearly confused
My parents told me since I was younger image is everything.
"Only for my mom maybe but not my dad. He can fuck himself for all I care." Duncan said not saying anything more.
Courtney caught this was just going to be a dead-end conversation.
"Why does Justin keep fucking with you. I mean he's never fucked you so why's he keep messing with you."
" if I'm going, to be honest, I don't know. He has that slut but I think he just wants to see me not happy when I'm not with him," she said shrugging.
"I think he still likes you," Duncan said to her then he got up and started looking around her room again.
"Doubt it." Courtney snorted in disbelief. She got up and got her sushi and started eating it again.
"Trust me I'm a guy I know these things. Like how you women have that intuition bullshit well guys can read each other." Duncan said picking up a picture of Courtney.
She was young and fixing her hair looking at something in a distance.
"Yeah, whatever." She said sitting in her bed with her sushi.
