THEME SONG (Chapter 10)

Chris gathered everyone around the campfire ring. "Hello, campers, today I would like to tell you some of Camp Stalakanava's history!"

Heather rolled her eyes. "I'd rather slam my tongue in a car door."

"I have a car," Jo responded.

"Anyway, today I'll tell you about how this place was found and the many secrets that are hidden within the bushes and grass."

"Bushes and grass..." Bridgette observed. "I love the wording on that sentence."

"Thank you. Now hush!" Chris asserted. "It was back in 1951..."

"When our dearest Chris got his driver's license at the young age of 16," Noah remarked.

"...When my grandmother and grandfather got married and rented out a boat for their honeymoon."

Lindsay rose her hand.

"Yes, Lindsay?" Chris sighed.

"Okay so I know that there used to be big dinos that used to live back then, but do you know if your grandma and grandpa owned one?"

"Yes, Lindsay," Chris answered sarcastically. "My grandma and grandpa had a pet dinosaur which they named Billy Bobo."

"That is so cool!"

Heather Confessional:

"What happened to Lindsay? At first, she was fighting to fight! But now she's acting as if she's dumber than rocks."

"My grandmother and grandfather were native to Finland but had decided to sail away to farther lands. After a dreaded 7 month sail across the Atlantic Ocean, they eventually washed up here. Nobody had ever settled here and they decided to make this their island."

"Did they take Billy Bobo with them?" Lindsay asked.

Chris sighed with annoyance. "No Lindsay. Billy Bobo was slaughtered and fed to the local village people."

"Aw, bummer..."

"After creating shelter and gathering food, granny and pappy McLean decided to explore this land even further. They went along searching at the beach. That's when granny tripped over the sands. They both dug out what she had tripped over and there they saw a huge gold coin. This coin weighed over 50 pounds and is worth over 5 Million Dollars!"

"That's a ton of money, man! How did it get to shore?" Geoff asked.

"Nobody knows. But they decided to keep their findings a secret. They hid the gold coin on the island and sailed to Canada where the settled in Toronto. While staying in Toronto, my grandparents had my father. My father got married to my mother and had me. From 3 generations, the story of Stalakanava and the gold coin was shared and I'll be the one to find it."

"So the coin is still here?" Cameron asked.

"Yup! Today, your challenge will be to find that gold coin. Whichever team finds the coin will get Immunity and pick 1 other team to be immune with them. Bring the gold coin down to the dock to win the challenge!"

"Are we starting soon?" Alejandro asked

"No, we'll have a short half-hour lunch and then you'll begin the search," Chris answered. "Now everyone, let's go to the dining hall."

As everyone left, the same girl that washed up on shore looked up. "I suppose that 5 million dollar coin outta be MINE! I will finally get what I truly deserve! Whahahaha!"

? Confessional:

"Mark my words! I will get my hands on the coin and I'll leave Chris standing without his poor 50-pound treasure! You watch and see! Because I AM EVIL!"

The Contestants got their food and sat down in the dining hall. Courtney was sitting away from her team.

"Look how lonely Courtney is..." Gwen mentioned. "I feel kinda bad."

"Why?" Bridgette asked.

"Because she's the only one being blamed. It's not fair to her." Gwen answered.

"Courtney deserves it! She cheated on me with Scott!" Duncan said with a hint of anger.

"You're one to talk!" Gwen retorted. "You cheated on Courtney with me! And whether you like to admit it or not, it happened."

Duncan growled at Gwen."It wasn't that ba-"

"And even if I didn't admit it before, it still happened and I was in the wrong! We both broke her heart but I got all the blame! All she did was blank you and occasionally yell at you!" Gwen stood up and grabbed her plate. "What happened to me wasn't fair and what's happening to her isn't either!"

Gwen sat down across from Courtney.

Courtney was shocked to see her but she still wasn't happy.

"Hey, Courtney, how are you?" Gwen asked.

Courtney didn't look at her. "I'm terrible! You?"

"I feel terrible," Gwen responded. "I'm so sorry."

"For what?" Courtney asked. "For my mistakes."

"No... for my own." Gwen admitted. Courtney looked up. "Duncan and I broke your heart. You were betrayed by not only your boyfriend but also your friend. I kept denying that he was your boyfriend at the time because I couldn't come to myself and see myself as that heartless of a person."

"You really mean that?" Courtney asked as she softened up a bit.

"I do mean it. And I understand All-Stars now. You were betrayed once before by me and it makes sense why you wouldn't want to or at least couldn't trust me 100%. You were scared, and at that point, you weren't sure if you had any friends or allies left. You really wanted the money because that's the last thing that you knew for sure couldn't betray you in any way."

Courtney looked down at her plate. "You're right. And trust me, I forgive you for what happened in that past and I'd rather we keep it in the past."

Gwen took her hand. "It's probably better off that way."

Courtney smiled then looked back down. "Uh, I hope you know that I'm sorry too. For how it went down and how I was when it happened."

"It's okay."

Courtney looked at Gwen and smiled. "So, um, would you like to be friends once again?"

"I'd love that," Gwen answered as they both stood up and hugged each other.

"I missed you," Courtney whispered in Gwen's ear as she began to tear up.

Gwen hugged her tighter and nodded her head. "Same here."
