3:01 AM

Heather and Emma had Lindsay over their shoulders as she came in and out of sleeping.

"Hang in there, Lindsay." Heather said. "We'll find the rest of the team."

"There they are!" Emma exclaimed as she pointed towards the cabins.

Jasmine, Carrie, Gwen, Bridgette, and Trent had all grouped together. They were waiting for the other 3 girls.

Bridgette ran up to them. "Oh my god! What happened?"

"We don't know!" Heather said. "Emma and I were walking on a path in the forest somewhere, when Lindsay came out of the trees and collapsed in front of us. We found her covered in scratches and bruises."

"Also, she doesn't know what happened, herself." Emma added as she looked over to Lindsay, who was still on their shoulders.

Dawn walked up, as all of the Roosters went back to their cabins. "What happened guys?"

"Lindsay collapsed and was found with scratches and bruises." Carrie explained.

"Oh dear! Let me go get you guys something." Dawn said as she ran into her cabin. She came back out, dragging the emergency stretcher that Shawn and Sammy had made for when Dawn had collapsed. "Here, lay Lindsay down on this."

She put the stretcher down as Emma and Heather laid Lindsay across it.

"Thanks, Dawn." Emma said.

Dawn smiled. "No problem."

"Dawn, how come your team isn't going to find Chris?" Gwen asked. "It seems that you all found each other."

"Oh, well um… somebody from our team exposed Sky and Jo for the true monsters that they are, so now we're throwing the challenge to get one of them out."

"Is that why you gave us the stretcher?" Trent asked.

"No, I was just being nice." Dawn replied. "Good luck!"

"Bye, Dawn, thanks again!" Trent called.

"Well, we're all here…" Emma began. "So let's put that puzzle together. There should be 8 pieces."

Everyone dug in their bags to get the paper, then handed them to Emma.

"Okay, this seems easy enough." Emma said as she grabbed a flashlight and looked at the pieces. "I don't get what this is going to be."

"Can I look at them?" Bridgette asked.

"Sure, good luck." Emma replied, handing them to her.

Bridgette began to put them together, starting with the corners. "It looks like a picture of a very foggy path entrance." She said finishing it.

Heather pulled out her phone and took a picture of the puzzle, with flash on. "Looks like it to me."

"So maybe we'll have to walk in the woods and figure out where this path begins." Jasmine suggested.

"Yep, that's exactly what we'll have to do." Gwen said. "Nice job, Jasmine."

"I'll help carry Lindsay." Trent offered.

"Okay, I'll help ya and Bridgette and Gwen can hang back with us for support." Jasmine said.

"Great plan!" Heather said. "Let's go win this!"

3:13 AM

Zoey, Lightning, Devin, Jazelle, Kitty, Harold, and Blaineley were all grouped together along the shore, discussing their plan.

"Well, we're waiting on Cody and Sierra." Lightning said. "When are they going to get here?"

"What if we waited here?" Blaineley suggested. "They'll turn up eventually."

"That's true… but it won't be fast enough." Kitty said. "The other teams have one less person than us. And we don't know how well they're doing."

"Kitty brings up a valid point." Devin noted. "What if half of us go find Chris, and the rest of us go find Sierra and Cody."

"We don't even know where Chris is at." Jazelle mentioned.

"We'd only be missing 2 out of 9 puzzle pieces. Why don't we try to put it together." Harold said.

"That's a good idea!" Zoey said. "Let's all take out our papers."

Everyone took out their papers and gave them to Zoey.

"Oh, I'm putting it together?" She asked.

Harold took them from her. "Please, allow me." He quickly put the puzzle together. They were missing the top right corner and the middle bottom piece.

"Well, what do you guys see?" Blaineley asked, hovering over Harold.

"I see your crusty, dry scalp." Lightning said hovering over Blaineley.

Blaineley looked back at him. "Now I see your disgusting football jersey."

"How is this helping any?" Jazelle questioned. She looked at the puzzle herself, shining a flashlight over it. "It looks like the forest. Perhaps a trail."

"But why is the picture so faded? Is it old?" Zoey asked

"Maybe it's fog." Harold suggested.

"It's probably both." Jazelle said. "Knowing the cheap budget for the show and how mysterious Chris likes to be."

"So what we'll have to do is go into the forest and find this trail. Then we travel through it and Chris will most likely be at the end." Kitty explained.

"But what about Cody and Sierra?" Devin asked. "Our entire team has to be with us when we find Chris.

"What if, as the entire group, we go find the trail." Blaineley began. "Then half of us can stay there while the other half goes to find them. Then they can lead Sierra and Cody back to the start of the trail and we can go as the entire team and win the challenge!"

"Great idea, Blaineley!" Devin said. "We better get going, then."

Everyone put their backpacks on with Jazelle, Devin, and Harold holding flashlights.

3:24 AM

Heather, Emma, and Carrie led the Catfish through the forest as Bridgette and Gwen followed behind Trent and Jasmine, who were carrying Lindsay.

Bridgette and Gwen weren't really talking that much, and it was making Bridgette visibly nervous. She slowed down, trying to see if Gwen would walk in front of her, but she didn't.

Instead, Gwen and Bridgette kept walking side by side and at a slower rate.

"Is something wrong, Bridgette?" Gwen asked.

"Um… I'm fine." Bridgette answered rather quickly. "Just sleep deprived."

Gwen nodded. "Okay, well we should be done soon. So be sure to keep your head up."

"I'm glad you're so understanding." Bridgette said.

"Are you sure nothing is up?" Gwen asked. "I've never heard anybody talk like that. You sound like a depressed robot trying to be happy."

"I wish we were closer." Bridgette said. "And I feel as if it is my fault that we're not."

"What do you mean?" Gwen asked. "We are close."

"So you're telling me that I told you being with Trent was a bad idea, you weren't a little mad at me?"

"Well I wasn't happy with you, but it didn't mean I didn't like you." Gwen replied.

"But did it make us distant?" Bridgette continued.

"I mean… yeah…" Gwen responded. "What is your point, anyway?"

"I'm sorry for telling you that you and Trent weren't a good idea."

Gwen looked at Bridgette with confusion. "Okay? I'm not mad at you."

"But you were. And I wanted to make sure that you and I were cool." Bridgette stated.

"We're good. I promise you! You're my best friend."

"Really?" Bridgette asked. "That makes me feel so much better."

Gwen and Bridgette hugged.

"So, what's going on with you and Courtney?" Bridgette asked changing the topic as they began to walk faster.

"We're friends now. She knows I hurt her, I know I hurt her, and we've come to terms with our past. But that's what it is now, the past."

"Well good for you!" Bridgette said. "It's been a hot minute since I've hung out with her."

"I hope you get the chance to." Gwen said. "When she's not in drama or in a depressed state, she's a really fun person."

Bridgette and Gwen caught up with the rest of the team again, as they saw Jasmine and Trent getting tired.

"Are you guys okay?" Bridgette asked.

"My arms are fine. But my feet are hurting and I'm so tired right now." Jasmine responded.

"I feel like a wet noodle!" Trent exclaimed. "The strings on my guitar are probably stronger than my arms right now."

Heather, Carrie, and Emma stopped walking and the entire team was grouped together again.

"Are you guys okay?" Carrie asked.

"We'd kinda like a break." Trent said.

"A break?" Heather questioned. "I'm down."

Trent and Jasmine set Lindsay down on the ground as her eyes began to flutter open.

"Lindsay?" Heather asked. "Can you hear me? It's Heather!"

Lindsay's eyes were open all the way as everyone huddled around each other.

"Who?" Lindsay asked.

Everyone looked around, confused and concerned.

"I said it's me, Heather!"

"I don't know a Heather." Lindsay said. "Who are these people? Where am I?"

"What do you mean you don't know me?" Heather asked. "You cursed me out! Remember? It's me! I'm iconic!"

Lindsay shrugged and sat up, looking around. "Am I in a forest? DID YOU GUYS KIDNAP ME?"

"Lindsay, we're your friends!" Jasmine mentioned. "We met a few weeks ago."

"Am I in Australia?"

"Lindsay… you're on a TV show. Called Total Drama Ultimate." Bridgette told her. "We're on a team, trying to win a challenge. We're the Crying Catfish."

"Why would the Catfish cry?" Lindsay questioned.

"Lindsay, my name is Carrie! It's nice to meet you."

Lindsay cautiously shook her hand.

"Hi, I'm Lindsay."

"Hi, Lindsay! I need you to tell me the last thing you remember before you woke up." Carrie said.

"Um… I don't know! How old am I?"

"Lindsay, you're 21 years old." Trent said.

Lindsay gasped. "Oh…"

"Lindsay…" Carrie tried again. "Think back to your most recent memory."

"Um… I remember coming in last during the Science fair! I think that was last week."

"What grade were you in?" Carrie asked.

"I was in 8th grade… I don't know how this is helping."

"Lindsay, we're going to need you to come with us." Carrie said, helping her off the ground. "We're going to walk through the forest and find a helpful man, named Chris! He can help you."

Lindsay nodded and took a deep breath. "Okay…"

3:37 AM

Cody and Sierra were examining their pieces together while passing by the dock.

"What is this?" Sierra asked, looking at some text on her's.

Cody looked over and squinted at it. "Looks like a watermark."

"Watermark? Like an online picture?"

"That's exactly what it is." Cody responded.

"That means Chris didn't really take the photo. Like as if it doesn't exist on the island." Sierra said.

"So where could he be?"

Sierra's face lit up. "He must be inside a building and the picture is posted on the door!"

"How are we going to tell our team?" Cody asked.

Sierra gasped. "I don't know why we didn't try this before!" She took her phone out and began to dial Kitty's phone number.

3:44 AM

The Goats were tired of walking through the forest and were slowly running out of energy.

"This is getting nowhere!" Lightning exclaimed. "Why can't it just end?"

"Keep your head up, Lightning!" Zoey said. "We've got this! We only need a better lead."

"Yeah right!" Blaineley said. "Miracles don't come out of nowhere."

Kitty's phone began to ring. She took it out of her pocket. "It's Sierra!"

"You were saying?" Jazelle said to Blaineley.

Kitty answered the phone and put Sierra on speaker. "Hey Sierra! You're on speaker and the rest of the Goats are together."

"Okay! Well Cody and I have a lead on the challenge. Where are you guys?"

Kitty went searching on her phone for a compass. "We're in the woods… I believe east of the cabins. Where are you guys?"

"We're close to the dock. Meet you guys at the cabins?"

"Sounds good!" Kitty answered. "We'll see you then."

"K! Bye."

Kitty hung up the phone as they all began to walk back to the cabins.

"So how come we didn't think of that before?" Blaineley asked.

"Why didn't you call them?" Zoey asked. "I mean, you're you… so you must have one."

"Well I thought that I was getting paid to be on the show, like a special cameo, so I didn't think to bring an extra." Blaineley explained.

"You're kidding, right?" Devin asked. "I mean you really thought Chris would want you to star on the show? As if he liked you?"

"This is the same guy who decided to shove you out of a plane because you talked about hosting Total Drama World Tour." Harold added.

"Well… I didn't think that through." Blaineley admitted.

"What about a contract?" Jazelle asked. "We all got one. So why didn't you?"

"Because I wasn't my happiest… most alert self at the time."

"So what happened to your phone?" Kitty asked.

"Chris chucked it into the Ocean because no phones were allowed. Which is total B.S.!"

"We were able to bring one electronic device." Kitty said. "It was on the contract."

"Wait really?" Blaineley asked. "So why would he…"

"Did he tell you that you weren't being paid?" Harold questioned.

"Yeah…"

"Did you try to call people to pick you up?" Harold added.

"Well… yeah…"

"Looks like he really wanted you to suffer on the show." Jazelle said. "He wanted to make sure you stayed on and couldn't get off."

Blaineley sighed. "Why didn't I figure this out?"

"Because… it's Chris." Jazelle said. "He played you."

"Why would he do that?" Blaineley asked.

Everyone shrugged.

Blaineley Confessional:

"Chris is up to something and I know it! I'm going to take him down! They'll watch as he burns."

3:57 AM

The Catfish walked up to the cabins.

"Heather, where are we going?" Gwen questioned.

"We need to find help for Lindsay! Fast!" Heather said as they stopped walking. "Chris won't be any help unless we can find him! We walked that entire forest and didn't see that trail."

"So what are we going to do?" Jasmine asked.

"We're going to DJ! He should be in the kitchen, and if he's not, I still know where some first aid kits are." Heather explained.

Sierra and Cody walked up to the Catfish.

"Hey guys!" Cody said. "What's up?"

"Wait… there's more people here?" Lindsay asked. "Is that Chris?"

"What's wrong with her?" Sierra questioned.

"She hit her head and lost about 7 years of memory." Emma explained. "Lindsay, this is Cody and Sierra. They're good friends of yours and they're on the Giggling Goats team."

Lindsay nodded. "Oh okay…"

"Memory loss?" Sierra gasped. "Your fans are going to go crazy over this on my blog!"

Lindsay looked over to Gwen. "Fans?"

"Well, you see, Lindsay, we're kinda celebrities. Again, we're on a reality show and this is your 5th season." Gwen stated.

Lindsay sighed. "That's… good?"

Heather shook her head and looked at Cody and Sierra. "So, where's your team?"

"They're going to be meeting us here soon." Cody responded. "Where are you guys headed?"

"To the Main Lodge." Heather responded. "We can't find Chris anywhere and we're going to clean up Linsday's scratches and bruises. Also the Roosters have given up so it's just our teams."

"There's Roosters?" Lindsay questioned.

Carrie patted Lindsay's shoulder. "Stop asking questions, you're going to hurt your brain. You're just confused at the moment."

Lindsay looked down and sighed.

"So it's just Catfish and Goats?" Sierra asked.

Heather nodded.

"Why hasn't Chris stopped the challenge then?" Sierra asked.

"Probably so we could suffer." Bridgette responded.

"So what if we teamed up?" Cody suggested. "I mean, Sierra and I have a lead. And what's the worst that could happen? We tie in first?"

"That's not a bad idea…" Emma said.

"What's not a bad idea?" Kitty asked as the rest of the goats walked up behind them."

"We were thinking about teaming up with your team." Carrie responded.

"You guys want to take down the Roosters?" Jazelle asked. "I mean I guess I'm down."

"They've already given up." Emma said. "But Chris won't stop the challenge because he wants us to keep going until he's found."

"So… torture?" Harold asked.

The Catfish nodded at them.

"I have the lead in my hands!" Cody said as they turned to him and Sierra. "There's a watermark in this corner. Chris must've never taken a picture, because he wasn't hiding in the forest."

"What watermark?" Bridgette asked. "We never saw…" Bridgette stopped talking mid sentence and began to search through her bag, which had all the pieces. She gulped, pulling out a similar piece, just different sized. "Yeah, it's there."

"So, we think Chris is hiding behind a door. In a building." Sierra continued. "Because the image is false."

"He probably wanted to throw us off." Lightning said.

"Which he did…" Harold reminded him. "So let's, as a group, head to the kitchen. We can see if Chris is there."

"That works for us." Trent said.

4:20 AM

Jo was walking through the forest, farthest from the cabins. She was very upset with herself.

"UGH! I'VE COME SO FAR! Just for me to SCREW UP mid-way! DANG IT, JO!"

Jo walked over to a tree and kicked it out of anger. "OH MY GOD THAT HURTS! She held and foot and began to rub her ankle. "In hindsight, not my best idea."

She turned around and slumped down onto the tree, and with the pain she was in, she made a slightly forceful impact on her back.

"Now what am I supposed to do?" She questioned banging her fists against the forest floor. A small log fell on her head. "What the…"

4:38 AM

The Goats and Catfish arrived at the Main Lodge, with Blaineley shining a light at the door.

"Well, there's the picture." Jazelle said. "Let's go win this! Oops… I meant tie this."

Both teams went onto the porch and went into the Lodge. The lights were turned off but Gwen turned it on.

Chris was sitting at a table. "There's 17 of you? Why are all of you here?"

"We just figured we'd tie and get this stupid challenge over with!" Harold said. "Were you that lazy to sit inside here the entire time instead of sitting in the woods?"

"Stop complaining, Harold." Chris said. "You guys tied for first and the Roosters will have to eliminate a player. Ceremony will be at two in the afternoon late today."

"Wait right there." Heather said, pulling Lindsay with her. "We need your help."

"Heather, I have plans. And they do include sleeping."

"Is this Chris?" Lindsay asked.

"Lindsay has lost her memory after she fell or hit her head. If you don't help her, you could be sued by her family and your show wouldn't be able to last another day on air."

Chris' eyes widened. "What happened to her?"

"We don't know." Heather said. "But it is your job to figure it out. Stop sitting on this, drinking generic coffee, and get to the bottom of this!"
