The contestants all started to wake up around noon. The ceremony was supposed to start in a couple of hours.
Kitty and Jazelle were walking together, to the showers. Both of them had woken up around the same time and figured they'd get washed up.
"So, Jazelle, where are you from?" Kitty asked.
"I'm originally from a little town in Connecticut. But once my modeling career began, I moved to New York where I live in a 2 bedroom apartment by myself."
"What about your family?"
"They still live in Connecticut.. I just decided that I'd make it bigger there, in New York."
"Do you miss your mom and dad?"
"Well… of course."
"What's wrong?"
"My mom and dad passed away when I was 7 years old. I ended up being taken into custody by my Aunt Margret and Uncle Thomas."
Kitty patted her back. "I'm so sorry to hear that. Our mom has died recently too. But I can't imagine growing up without her."
"Are you kidding?" Jazelle questioned. "Both of them were physically and emotionally abusive towards me. Always hit me and beat me and told me I was never going to be good enough."
Kitty gasped. "That's horrible! It must've taken a chunk out of your self esteem."
"It totally did! I didn't see myself as pretty anymore for a long time. They told me that people actually find me revolting and that they act nice so they don't hurt my feelings."
"I'm sorry about that."
"Why? Not like it could've changed anything."
"So why are you a model now?"
"Because of my backstory. People see me as pretty when I have half a pound of makeup on. And everyone roots for the underdogs! The people who were treated horribly but found the light and strived. It sickens me!"
Kitty nodded as Jazelle continued to talk.
"I don't want to be known as the abused girl who became a lousy sports model. I saw those people on the TV when I was younger, but not everyone is dealt the same hand in life. I don't want to be a role model. I want to be a human!"
"Is that why you went off on Chris like when you were introduced?"
"Yep! I'm not a figure who is pretty and does modeling. I'm a human who doesn't look back at the past, but instead, looks forward."
"Jazelle is a pretty name." Kitty suddenly said.
"Thanks, some guy in Illinois said it meant Bravery on the internet, so my mom chose it."
"That's an interesting reason." Kitty noted.
"More like a lazy reason." Jazelle said. "I have a little brother named Timmy. He's 4 years younger than me. He doesn't remember my parents that well, which is good for him because he was abused in the same way as me."
"But he was only 3…" Kitty said.
"I know. It hurts me to think about everything that happened to him."
"But what about you? You were abused more right?"
"Yeah, but I toughened out and I'm stronger than ever." Jazelle said.
"So if you're a famous model, how come you're on the show?"
"I'm not that famous and I don't make a ton of money. Most of my expenses like my clothes and travel are covered by my agent, but I have to pay rent on my apartment and take care of utilities and food and gas and repairs for my car."
"So are you going to buy a house if you win?"
"No, I'm planning on paying for my brother's college tuition and to buy a better home for my Aunt and Uncle. Then after that, I'd like to get a butterfly tattoo on my ankle and save the rest."
"That's really sweet of you." Kitty said as they reached the ShowerHouse. "So, what does your brother want to do after college?"
"He wants to be a Marine Biologist." Jazelle answered as they went inside. "You guys are the same age actually. Although I think you're a little older."
"Cool! Well, have a nice shower!" Kitty said as they went to the shower stalls farthest from each other.
"You too." Jazelle said before taking out her jewelry. "Oh, and thanks for talking with me."
Kitty took her sweatshirt and boots off. "No problem. You're really cool."
Jazelle Confessional:
"I'm going to call it right now! Timmy and Kitty are perfect for each other! I hope they meet because Kitty is so awesome! Timmy, if you're watching, I have someone for you to meet."
Dawn tucked one of her trash bags into her pillow case and stuffed it in the crack of her bed. "That's better."
She climbed up to Sammy's bunk and shook Sammy awake.
Sammy slowly opened her eyes, not startled or anything. "Morning, Dawn."
Dawn sighed and smiled. "I'm in a great mood and ready to talk now."
Sammy smiled. "Let's get dressed and then we can go on a walk."
Dawn hugged Sammy. "Okay."
After they took turns getting dressed, they set out on their walk. Ending up at the Cave, they sat down and began to talk about the kiss.
"So, how are you feeling with… us?" Dawn asked.
"That kiss was amazing!" Sammy said. "You're so beautiful with such a gentle heart! I mean I love you!" She didn't hold back at all.
Dawn was extremely taken back by Sammy's 'I love you' but blushed very hard. "You… do?"
"Why wouldn't I?" Sammy asked. "You're amazing."
Dawn smiled and blushed even harder. "I love you too."
Sammy blushed, herself and turned Dawn's head towards her's as they kissed again. This time slower and in love.
Sammy chuckled afterwards. "We have to stop meeting like this."
Dawn, who still blushed heavily, hugged Sammy and smiled. "That was way too corny. But it fits your blue aura."
"I have no clue what that means." Sammy stated. "But who cares? I have a girlfriend."
"Well, I do enjoy labels." Dawn said as they cuddled closer.
Chris had called up Heather and Lindsay to come to the Main Lodge.
"Hey, girls." Chris greeted. "I need to talk to you, Lindsay."
"Whatever you need to say to her, you can say to me." Heather said.
"That's why I called you here too." Chris stated. "Lindsay, if you want to leave the show, then we'll support you."
"Leave?" Lindsay asked. "But I don't wanna."
"Are you sure, Lindsay?" Heather asked. "Your mindset has to be your main priority."
"I'll be okay." Lindsay said. "I promise."
Heather was still unsure. "Okay…"
ELIMINATION CEREMONY
"Roosters! Welcome to this… afternoon's elimination ceremony! All of you have casted your votes for elimination and whoever's name I don't call will have to climb up the ladder of the dunk tank of doom, and plunge down into the rushing waters that take you straight to the AfterMath studios!"
The Roosters braced themselves for the news.
"Let's begin! Mike! Sammy! Courtney! Dawn! Owen! And... Scott!"
They all walked up there, with Dawn having a trash bag with her.
Sky and Jo looked at each other.
"Chris, I'd… well we'd like to say something before you announce the loser." Sammy announced.
Chris, knowing it would probably start drama, let Sammy speak.
"Okay… So Courtney, Jo, and Sky all witnessed something very private between me and Dawn. Courtney is not the person I'm attacking, just to make it clear, it's these two! They wanted to use our kiss against us, but I have news for them! Dawn and I are together, so whatever leverage you guys thought you had, is gone! We're embracing it and we're dating! If you guys don't like it, you can kiss our butts!"
"Yes! Queens! I stan! Full support!" Heather shouted.
"Who are they?" Lindsay asked.
Everyone was silent and the area was flooded with awkwardness.
"Okay, Jo and Sky, whoever's name that I don't call will have to go down the dunk tank of final marshmallow goes too…"
Jo Confessional:
"If they know what's best for them, they won't eliminate me! I won't allow it!"
Sky Confessional:
"I'd understand if they'd eliminate me, but Jo is the worse one out of both of us. So the reason for eliminating me over her is beyond me."
"...Sky!" Chris announced.
"Wait!" Jo yelled. "I have an invincibility statue! Meaning poor little Sky is out of here!"
Everyone but Dawn gasped.
"I don't see it." Chris stated.
"It's back at my cabin! I can go grab it." Jo insisted.
Chris rolled his eyes."I suppose…"
"Wait!" Dawn yelled. "You mean this?" She asked, grabbing it out of her bag.
"No! That's mine!" Jo yelled.
"It was, yours." Dawn said. "But if Alejandro could do it to Heather in All-Stars, then I can do it to you. I could see the shape of it underneath your blanket."
Jo's jaw dropped. "No that's not fair!"
"So am I still in the game?" Sky asked.
"Well, here's the thing." Dawn began. "At the bottom, the statue says that it can be used to move another player to a different team. Jo probably didn't read it because she found it in the dark and never saw the words on the bottom. Which means, Jo is out of the game and I'm using this to idol out Sky on the Crying Catfish team!"
"Yes, Dawn and Sammy! Power duo right there!" Heather cheered.
Chris nodded. "Well she's not cheating by doing this, so it's valid. Jo, you're out of the game! And Sky is on the Catfish team!"
Jo looked around herself in panic. "No! This can't be happening! I deserved better!"
"No!" Courtney yelled. "You deserve what you got."
10 Minutes later
Jo had gotten up to the tank, kicking and screaming after DJ and Chef dragged her, and kept yelling.
"No! Dawn and Sammy I will end you!" Jo yelled. "You can't do this to me!"
"I'm getting bored with her." Chris said. "FIRE!"
Chef fired the Tennis Ball Blaster of Despair and hit the target, sending Jo plummeting down into the rushing waters.
Chris turned to the camera. "How will Sky do with her new team and what do we have in store for Sammy and Dawn's relationship? Will Lindsay ever remember anybody else on the island? And how will the Roosters do with their low team number? Find out next time! On TOTAL… DRAMA… ULTIMATE!"
