The campers walked down to the Main Lodge after Chris called them for the challenge. DJ wasn't in the kitchen, instead, it was only Chris with his painted on mischievous grin.

"Greetings, campers!" Chris announced as they all sat down at their tables. "Congratulations, you've surpassed thirteen other campers so far."

"Yay?" Trent asked.

"Since you guys have been doing so well, I've decided to reward you!" Chris exclaimed.

"You're shredding our contracts?" Lightning asked. "That's good news."

"In your dreams!" Chris responded. "You're going to play at a water park today."

"My favorite pastime." Blaineley noted. "When I was seven years old."

"We know, the 60s were the best, weren't they?" Mike asked.

"Anyway, go back to your cabins and get your bathing suits on."

"Why do I have a feeling this will be part of a challenge?" Emma asked.

"Because it will be." Jasmine sighed. "But the water might feel nice. Who knows?"

The contestants walked to the beach wearing their swimsuits on and towels. They saw Chris standing on the dock with the interns by his side.

"Contestants! Welcome to the McLean Water Park!"

"Where is it?" Lindsay asked.

Chris smiled and pulled out a remote with a large blue button on it. "Let me show you." He pushed the button as the ground began to rumble underneath their feet.

"What's g-going on?" Bridgette called as she tried not to fall.

"You'll s-see." Chris said as they looked out into the ocean.

A large floating bouncy house rose up onto the surface. Then another platform floated up. It was about the length of a football field and almost connected the beach to the floating obstacle.

"That's something…" Gwen said.

Emma gulped.

Emma Confessional:

"So… yes… maybe I now have an irrational fear of water now. Well, drowning in it. Can you blame me?"

Chris grinned. "Indeed, Gwen. This is infact something. Can I explain?"

"Go ahead…" Gwen responded with an eyeroll.

"Great! So, you guys will have to run from here to the McLean Water Park. But, since it doesn't reach all the way, you'll have to jump in the ocean and swim the rest of the way. Once you get there, you'll take to the left side and begin to climb up the ladder. But, it has been covered in chocolate syrup, honey, glue, and my personal favorite… peanut butter and jelly sandwiches."

"Very… sticky." Carrie observed.

Chris nodded. "Slippery and sticky. That's the fun part! After you climb up the ladder, you'll have to run to the right side and go down the water slide. You'll go back into the water and then you'll have to swim and climb back onto the other float and run to your teammates. You'll be using these batons for the relay. Blue is for the Goats, red is for the Roosters, and green is for the Catfish. Any questions?"

"There's only seven on their team." Heather pointed out. "Will the Roosters have to run an extra person?"

Chris nodded and looked at the Roosters. "Heather is right, you guys need to decide who is starting and ending your race."

Courtney looked over to her team. "I'll do it, if that works."

Dawn looked around. "Sure, that's fine."

"Okay! Great!" Chris exclaimed. "You will go in a random order, except for Courtney. She'll be starting and finishing the relay for the Roosters. For the Goats, from starting to finishing is Cody, Jazelle, Devin, Lightning, Blaineley, Sierra, Harold, and Zoey finishes."

Cody walked up and grabbed the blue baton.

"For the Roosters, Courtney, Owen, Sammy, Dawn, Scott, Carrie, Mike, then Courtney goes again and finishes."

Courtney nodded and grabbed the red baton.

"Lastly, for the Catfish we have Emma, Lindsay, Jasmine, Bridgette, Sky, Trent, Heather, and Gwen finishes."

Emma walked up and grabbed her green baton.

"Great! Cody, Courtney, and Emma, get ready."

The three of them walked up to the float and gulped almost simultaneously.

Emma began to feel around the float with her toes. "Is this greased?"

Chris nodded. "It sure is! From DJ's finest bacon grease and frying oil leftovers."

Courtney rolled her eyes. "Of course there is."

"Okay, on your marks… get set… and GO!"

Cody and Emma began sprinting on the float as Courtney quickly dipped her feet into the water.

"Courtney? What are you doing?" Scott asked.

Courtney drug her feet in the sand and then began to run.

"We're doomed…" Mike said.

Courtney was running with ease as Cody and Emma began to wobble back and forth.

Cody noticed Courtney catching up. "How are you going so fast?"

Courtney looked over and pushed him into the water. Emma suddenly stopped as she had reached the end. She looked over at Courtney, who instantly dove in and began swimming to the other platform.

Emma closed her eyes tightly. "For Kitty." She said under her breath as she jumped in.

Emma Confessional:

"I can't let my fear get the best of me. Because if it does, then we might lose the challenge." *sighs* "Kitty once told me that I always put my needs aside when I have a chance for glory, and I guess she's right."

Emma began swimming really fast, catching up to Courtney as Cody dove in.

Courtney and Emma climbed onto the platform at the same time.

"Wow," Courtney mocked. "I thought that you were too chicken to get into the water."

Emma rolled her eyes and began to climb up faster than Courtney. She slowed down as pieces of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches got stuck in her hair and the honey, glue, and chocolate syrup coated her hands.

Cody climbed onto the platform and began to sprint up, instead of crawling on his hands and knees. He passed Courtney and Emma as he began to turn to the slide and quickly slid down.

Courtney noticed his tactics and instantly tried to do the same. Emma looked behind herself seeing Courtney sprinting up.

"Oh no you don't!" Emma yelled as she lifted her leg and kicked her back.

Courtney tumbled off the platform and rolled into the water. She watched as Cody splashed into the water and began to clean himself off.

Emma reached the top as Courtney began to try and sprint back up. Emma slid down as Courtney reached the top and followed her instantly.

Cody began to run some more before he dove onto his stomach. He slid on the bacon and kitchen grease really fast as he reached the beach.

Emma climbed onto the longer raft after cleaning herself off and began to slide on her stomach like Cody had done.

Courtney began to trail behind Emma as she looked back up at the beach, seeing Cody pass his baton to Jazelle.

"Those were some nice skills you had there." Jazelle complimented as she took the baton. "Wish me luck!"

Jazelle began to run on the platform as Emma and Courtney slid by. Courtney stretched out her arm and tripped Jazelle, causing her to land on her shoulder. She tried to get up but kept slipping on the grease.

"SLIDE ON YOUR BELLY!" Cody called from the beach.

Jazelle laid flat on her stomach as she used her arms to move forward, gaining a decent speed and maintaining the lead Cody gained

Emma passed her baton on to Lindsay as Courtney did the same with Owen.

"MOVE!" Courtney yelled at Owen as she pushed him towards the raft.

"Courtney! Stop." Sammy yelled. "You're turning into Jo!"

Courtney stopped forcing Owen as she looked back at Sammy. Owen dove onto the platform, trailing behind Lindsay.

"What did you say?" Courtney asked as she walked up to Sammy.

Dawn got into the middle of it. "Back off!"

Courtney stepped back.

"You're turning into a carbon copy of Jo! Turning into the person you hate!" Sammy continued. "Doesn't that scare you?"

Courtney rolled her eyes and looked at Scott. "Do you think that?"

Scott looked Courtney in the eyes. "They're… not wrong, babe."

Courtney gasped and looked back at her team. "I'm sorry, I got competitive and I just want to win."

"We want that too." Mike said. "But you can't be like that to us."

Courtney nodded. "I know. Let's do this as a team."

Lindsay looked over to Owen as they began to catch up to Jazelle.

"Hey Owen!" Lindsay called. "Isn't this fun?"

Owen laughed. "We're like penguins!"

Lindsay put her hands up to her chin and smiled. "Arf Arf."

Jazelle dove into the water and began to swim as Owen and Lindsay slid to the edge.

"I hope Lindsay is doing okay!" Heather exclaimed. "I'm so worried about her."

"Why?" Jasmine asked. "I'm sure she's doing fine."

"We can't be sure. She's not in the right state of mind. Remember?"

"I think it's great that you care about Lindsay so much." Trent said. "It shows your growth, and the new you."

"Well that's what a toxic relationship will do to you. But I'm glad that the team is giving me a second chance to reinvent myself, you know?"

"That's the purest thing I've heard all day." Trent responded.

Bridgette Confessional:

"I felt so bad listening to Trent and Heather talk. I don't even know why I was asking DJ those questions anyway. I'm not the nosy type and I don't want to turn into the nosy type. I'm going to talk to Heather after the challenge. Then after that, I might have a chance to smooth things over with DJ."

Jazelle began to crawl up the sticky ladder as Lindsay and Owen got on the platform.

"Can you give me a ride?" Lindsay asked Owen as she helped him up.

Owen nodded as Lindsay got on his back. She leaned over, grabbing the sandwiches and throwing them at Jazelle.

"What are you doing?" Jazelle asked looking back, getting a faceful of jelly.

"Oh… nothing!" Lindsay responded as she knocked Jazelle's baton out of her hand. It fell back and stuck to the ladder, but didn't roll off.

Owen Confessional:

"In all fairness, I didn't know that Lindsay was going to do that. Sorry Jazelle."

Jazelle wiped her eyes and jumped down as Lindsay and Owen made it to the top. Lindsay got off of Owen's back as she ran around and slid down the slide. "Thank you!" She called.

Owen followed her down the slide as Jazelle made it back to the top. He got halfway down before getting stuck.

Jazelle flipped onto his shoulders, causing him to move down until his feet touched the water.

"Next time, don't be so predictable." She dived into the water from his shoulders as Lindsay finished cleaning herself off.

Owen wiggled out of the slide and he and Jazelle climbed onto the platform after Lindsay.

They all ran and slid on the greased floating platform, with Lindsay maintaining her lead to the beach and Owen and Jazelle tying.

"You've got this!" Lindsay said passing the baton to Jasmine.

Jasmine nodded as she got a running head start before sliding on the grease.

Owen passed his baton to Sammy.

"Great job out there!" Sammy exclaimed. "Wish me luck!"

She dove onto the raft right behind Jasmine and Devin.

Keeping the same order, they all dove into the water.

"Woohoo! Go Sammy!" Dawn cheered. "You got this, babe!"

"Yay Jasmine!" Gwen also cheered. "Keeping first place like you should!"

"Stay focused Devin!" Jazelle yelled. "Don't let them get to your head!"

Jazelle Confessional:

"The Catfish are playing dirty! So we must either play dirty back or ignore them. Something that you keep giving power to, only has more power over you. Also, I miss Kitty."

Jasmine, Devin, and Sammy all started climbing up the sticky ladder at the same time and pace.

"You guys… are some good competition." Devin said out of breath.

Sammy and Jasmine smiled.

"I could say the same for you." Sammy complimented as she reached the top, with Jasmine behind her and Devin behind Jasmine.

"Well, it was nice meeting you." Sammy said as she quickly slid down, with Jasmine and Devin trailing close behind. They all washed off and began to run on the platform. Devin was the first one to slide, getting ahead of them, followed by Sammy and then Jasmine in last.

"Okay! He's coming!" Lightning exclaimed. He quickly ran to shore and dipped himself in the water.

"What is he doing?" Zoey asked as she walked up to Jazelle.

"It appears that Lightning is getting himself wet so he'll begin sliding easier." Harold noted. "You see, they slide on the grease and oils faster when wet, or when they slide on the platform after being in the water."

Zoey nodded. "Okay!"

Lightning came back onto the beach as Devin, Sammy, and Jasmine slid onto the beach.

Sammy quickly got up and ran her baton to Dawn. "Good luck!"

Dawn blushed and kissed her on the cheek. "Thanks!"

Dawn got a running head start and slid onto the raft.

"Here you go, mate." Jasmine said, giving Bridgette the baton.

"Thanks!" Bridgette said as she ran and slid, following behind Lightning and Dawn.

"You girls have nothing against the Lightning!" Lightning yelled as he slid past them. Dawn and Bridgette looked at each other then back at Lightning who was getting a better lead.

Bridgette began using her hands, pushing herself forward, getting in front of Dawn. Dawn did the same to keep up.

Lightning dove in, feeling the water rush over his head again. He quickly swam back to the surface and climbed onto the other one.

Dawn and Bridgette both slid off the raft and into the water. Lightning began climbing up the sticky ladder. "You girls have nothing on me!"

"Well, it's not over." Bridgette said as she helped Dawn up.

"You two keep helping each other as if that'll help you beat me." Lightning mocked. "Good luck." he said walking back.

"You're about to fall off the edge!" Dawn yelled as her and Bridgette sprinted up the platform together.

Lightning rolled his eyes. "Sha-please! You can't trick me. There's a wall behind me"

"No," Bridgette said as they passed him. "But we can slow you down."

She shoved Lightning back a little as Dawn swiftly took the lead. Bridgette followed after her with Lightning not taking long at all to catch up.

"You girls play dirty!" Lightning exclaimed as he slid down. They all swam to the raft and climbed on. Lightning and Dawn slid on their stomachs while Bridgette ran and slid on her feet, maintaining balance.

"I am a surfer after all." Bridgette smirked about halfway back to shore.

"If I was over there, I would so trip you!" Lightning yelled.

Bridgette shrugged as they reached the beach again.

"Stop!" Chris yelled.

Everyone turned to Chris as Dawn and Lightning got to their feet.

"We're halfway through and you guys tied!"

"Stopping us doesn't help." Mike mentioned.

"Get some water! I'll throw it to commercial break." Chris said as he looked at the camera. "It's neck and neck and neck! Nobody is in the lead and nobody is behind!
