"Last time on Total Drama Ultimate: On a night flight to Pahkitew Island, Jazelle and Lightning made a deal to not be ruthless anymore after feeling awful about Emma's elimination. And Carrie and Eva got to talking about Lindsay. Eva knew about Lindsay never losing her memory and was ready to take her down, but the only one she trusted was Carrie. For the challenge, the contestants had to get from Pahkitew Island to the nearby Nipahiwêmakan Island. Instead of splitting into two different teams like they are, the group all came together to find shelter for the night, which they decided to stay inside the underground control room. In the morning, the contestants went to the beach of Pahkitew Island, and decided to sit out until I got there. Courtney was hungry though, so she decided to go down to the tunnel system to get some firewood and on her way there, she stopped at the weather control room and got handsy with my controls. She wanted to scare the others but ended up starting an unstoppable thunderstorm. Meanwhile the others went back to the main controls and Harold hacked into the main server and got access to the controls. All of this ended when the tunnel system began to flood and everyone had to evacuate immediately. Jasmine saved the larger group by leading them up a tree but Courtney wasn't anywhere near them. After Harold's phone broke due to Gwen's impatience, the island was going to implode in 10 minutes. The contestants dodged falling trees and a forest fire and made it to the plane, but with a minute left, Courtney was still nowhere to be seen! Scott and Bridgette went back to the tunnel system and saved her within seconds to spare. While on the plane, the contestants ate dinner and then I told Courtney that she was booted for destroying my island! Goodbye Courtney! How will Scott adapt to the game with Courtney gone? Will Eva and Carrie take another step into exposing Lindsay? And how will we top yesterday's near death experience? Stay tuned right here to find out, on Total… Drama… Ultimate!"
Theme Song (Chapter 10)
DJ knocked on the Jagged Jaguar's cabin door and Heather answered.
"Hey DJ." Heather greeted.
"Hey, uh are you alone in here?" He asked.
"Uhm no, Carrie and Eva were in there with me." Heather responded as she closed the door behind herself. "Why, what's up?"
"I need to talk to you." DJ said, grabbing her wrist and pulling her into the empty Catfish cabin.
"What is going on with you?" Heather questioned. "You've never acted this weird before."
DJ closed the door behind him and locked it. He turned around and placed his hands on Heather's shoulders. "Blaineley knows about us."
"What?" Heather blurted. "How?"
"She saw me and you kissed last night before you went to your cabin to relax." DJ said. "But she promised not to tell Chris."
"And you believed her?" Heather questioned. "I'm in love with a squishmallow!"
"It's okay, Heather. Blaineley and I had to make a deal in order for it to work. I am going to get into Chris' trailer while he's on lunch and swipe his spare set of keys. Then tonight I'm going to get Chris and Chef to leave early for Chef's show. So Blaineley can get the keys and get what she needs."
"And how will she make sure Chris doesn't find out, huh? Because I know it can cost me the game and you your job. Chris will watch the episodes and he will know something is up!" Heather said. "Did you ask Blaineley how she would stop Chris from finding out?"
"Yes, but she said that the less I know the better." DJ replied.
"So that doesn't seem fishy at all, huh?" Heather questioned. "Look, I know you're trying to save our relationship and I want that too! But we need to figure out Blaineley's motives."
"I'll go get her." DJ said as he kissed Heather on the lips. "Stay here."
Heather sighed. "Well, make it quick."
Bridgette opened the door of the Eagle boys and was greeted by Devin. Scott was laying in his bed and thinking about Courtney, he decided to ignore the rest of the world
Devin pulled Bridgette outside.
"So what did you need?" Bridgette asked.
"I don't know how to help Scott." Devin said. "And seeing how Geoff is gone and you helped him save Courtney, perhaps the two of you could talk?"
Bridgette nodded and patted Devin's shoulder. "Okay, I'll take care of it. Stay out here."
Bridgette walked back into the cabin by herself and shut the door.
"When Geoff was eliminated, I was devastated." She said. "But, now that he's gone, I've been really happy with myself. I mean, don't get me wrong, he's the love of my life and we're getting married, but him leaving the game allowed me to do a lot of soul searching to figure out who I am spiritually. I found out that I like giving out advice and that orange isn't my color."
Scott laughed and sat up on his bed as Bridgette sat on the one across from him.
"I also learned that two broken people can heal each other. Whether it's a relationship, friendship, or partnership. Sammy had traumatic experiences with her sister and major trust issues, and she pairs up with Dawn who is often overlooked and has been hurt by people who didn't take a chance on her." Bridgette said. "You and Courtney fall into this too, and I think you and I can."
"I don't think you should be in here." Scott said. "You're engaged to Geoff."
"Huh?" Bridgette questioned. "OH! NO! No no no no no. Like a partnership! I meant an… alliance." She whispered
"Oh…" Scott responded.
"We could work together, you and me." Bridgette said. "We're alike in some ways and nobody would be looking out for our alliance. So what do you say?"
"I'll do it. But we can't make it obvious." Scott said.
"Just as long as you promise not to throw challenges." Bridgette added.
"Deal."
"Great!" Bridgette exclaimed as she stood up. "And it's okay to miss Courtney. Try to hang in there."
Scott Confessional:
"I understand why Courtney quit, I'm just sad that she's gone. But Bridgette is right, I need to get my head back into the game and get back to my old strategic self. No more being puppy eyed for girls, unless Courtney wants me to be of course."
DJ pulled Blaineley into the cabin with Heather.
"What do you want?" Blaineley asked.
"We need to know how exactly you're going to protect us." Heather said. "And if you don't tell us, we'll tell Chris about your plan to snoop into his office and you were trying to blackmail DJ with lies to get what you want. I can deal with pretending we were never together, just for the sake of the truth being exposed."
"Think of that on the spot?" DJ asked.
"I like to rehearse my arguments." Heather shrugged. "So what will it be, cupcake?"
Blaineley sighed. "Do I have to?"
"Tell us." DJ demanded.
"Fine." Blaineley said. "So it's a very complex plan, but uh…"
Blaineley Confessional:
"Telling DJ and Heather the plan is extremely risky for me and the plan itself! I need to get into his office and trailer as soon as possible or else this will all be for nothing."
"...and that's the plan. That's why I need to get into his office and trailer so bad! It's crucial for the plan and this is where you can help me."
"I can tell Chef Hatchet to extend his trip with Chris." DJ said. "Chris will give in for Chef and that'll give Blaineley plenty of time."
"After that, I can start talking in Chef's ear about how Chris is still using him. Then we can recruit him." Heather said.
Blaineley got her phone out and dialed the number again.
"Where did you get a phone?" Heather asked.
"Topher." Blaineley started, bringing the phone to her ear. "Hey, I'm sorry but I had to tell them. Yes, those two. But it's okay, it's just the next phase of our plan. Okay, yeah, we can take care of them too. I'll text you her number, but her name is Jennifer. She's my lawyer and she can grant an infinite amount of immunity deals for the case. Yes get them on board. Great, I'll text you her number. Okay, bye. Love you."
"Well now that this is settled," DJ began. "I'm going to head to the kitchen and get started on… brunch." He said looking at his watch. "Can't be late."
"I'll go out." Heather said.
"Wait, we can't have Chris being suspicious of you two." Blaineley reminded them.
"Right…" Heather said. "I'll head out the window."
"Cause that won't seem weird at all." Blaineley stated.
"I'll walk out first." DJ said. "You guys wait a few minutes and then come out after."
Blaineley and Heather gave him thumbs up as he walked out.
"DJ…" Chris began as DJ shut the door. "What were you doing in there?"
"What was I doing in there?" DJ asked. "Well I'll tell you what I was doing in there. I was… looking in there to see if there was space for some of my kitchen supplies. As you said, you wanted to use this as a storage shed and I figured I could use it too."
"Oh…" Chris said. "Well I'm going to be buying myself a new crib to stay in on the island. So if you want to move stuff for me, I can give you my spare set of keys."
"Um… of course I can do that for you!" DJ exclaimed. "When will you be giving me the keys?"
"Probably tomorrow." Chris answered. "Chef and I are going to do a scene for his show."
The door behind DJ began to open but he slammed it back shut with his foot. "Well CHRIS, don't you think that you should go tonight. I mean if you're flying out to the city tomorrow then you're gonna have to wake up super early to get on the plane."
"You do have a point… did that door open behind you?" Chris asked.
"Uh, yeah it did. I have the window open in there so the air pushed it open." DJ responded. "You know... wind."
"Okay." Chris responded. "Well I'll talk to Chef Hatchet about leaving early and I'll let you know when we leave so you can start moving my stuff. I'll have a list ready for you."
"That sounds great!" DJ exclaimed. "Let me go back in here really quick and I can move the bunk beds and... shut the window."
"Sounds good, DJ." Chris said. "Thank you for all the hard work you do. We couldn't have this show without your help."
"Thanks, Chris."
"No problem. I know I've been pretty mean lately and I'll try to be nicer in the future. When you're done moving those bunks, please get on brunch." Chris said.
"You've got it!" DJ exclaimed as he watched Chris leave into the forest. He slightly opened the door and slipped back into the cabin.
"Why did you kick the door closed?" Blaineley asked. "I was trying to get out."
"I ran into Chris!" DJ said.
"Was he suspicious?" Heather asked.
"A little but I lied to him and now I have to move stuff out of the trailer tonight and tomorrow while they're gone." DJ said.
"Great job stalling, DJ." Blaineley said, patting his shoulder. "But try staying away from Chris for now."
"Not sure how I'll be able to, but I'll try." DJ shrugged.
"Okay, I'll see you tonight to get those keys." Blaineley responded as she walked out of the cabin.
"This is a bad idea." Heather said to DJ.
"I know, Heather." DJ said. "But it'll be for one night so Blaineley can get what she needs and then we'll distance ourselves from this situation."
"I hope." Heather sighed.
Blaineley Confessional:
"Props to DJ for successfully lying to Chris. It takes guts to lie to your boss but I can tell he has my back on this. This is only phase one to my multi step plan, so it's good to know I'll have him in my back pocket."
Down by the dock, everybody from the original three seasons were hanging out like a little reunion. Except for DJ who was preparing brunch.
"Welcome to the party!" Cody exclaimed as Heather sat down in between him and Gwen.
Gwen sighed and looked over to Trent. "I can't believe Courtney is gone. I miss her already."
"I miss Courtney too." Bridgette said, who was sitting in between Eva and Lindsay.
"Courtney?" Lindsay asked. "Who is that?"
"The brunette girl who just left yesterday." Sierra responded. "I thought you knew her."
"With my accident, I can't remember anything from past that point." Lindsay shrugged.
"Wait, but you don't have short term memory loss." Eva pointed out. "You should've remembered Courtney."
"I… uh… was never really around her, I guess." Lindsay hesitated.
"But she was on our team with us." Eva pointed out. "She slept underneath your bunk."
Lindsay began to sweat. "What is a bunk bed?"
Lindsay Confessional:
"I don't appreciate Eva interrorizing me. Sure I may have not lost my memory, but she doesn't need to know that."
"Lay off of her, Eva." Heather said. "She's had a rough season."
"Hang on, Heather." Blaineley began who was sitting on Eva's left. "She has a point. Surely Lindsay remembers Courtney."
"I'm sorry, Blaineley. I suppose I just don't." Lindsay said.
"That's funny." Harold laughed. "Lindsay remembers Blaineley's name although she's never been on Lindsay's team, but doesn't remember Courtney's existence."
Lindsay sighed and began to cry. "I don't know what's happening to me! I can't control my memory, I think it's permanently damaged."
Bridgette patted Lindsay's back as Lindsay continued to sob.
"And I just miss my Tyler so much! It's not fair!" Lindsay cried.
Blaineley Confessional:
"Lindsay crying is honestly hard to watch. She's no actress. First she doesn't remember Courtney, remembers my name, and then remembers her boyfriend? Something seems fishy and I need to get to the bottom of what really happened with her incident."
Heather Confessional:
"What is going on with Lindsay? She's been a roller coaster all season and I'm so confused. First she's dumb as usual, then once I put her in charge she gains smarts. After Tyler's elimination she wanted to take down the Roosters as a leader, but when Chris starts telling us about the island she's an idiot again! Then she seemingly stops trying, until the accident happens. Since then, she's just been floating with the competition. But now she's slipping up with her memory… it doesn't seem like the same Lindsay and she's just getting by with sympathy from the others. Wait… sympathy?"
Eva Confessional:
"Lindsay's charade is slowly deteriorating and I love watching it crumble to pieces. But I'm not after her, I'm just actively testing her memory." *grins*
Lindsay Confessional:
"I don't know how to play the game anymore. I started this lie to get people to feel bad for me but I can't keep doing this. I'm going to have to 'gain' my memory again, and soon."
Lindsay continued to cry more and stood up, leaving her phone on the dock. "I have to use the bathroom."
"What about your phone?" Harold asked.
"Oh, right." Lindsay said as she turned around. Her tears caused her eyes to become blurry and when she turned around, she tripped on Bridgette's leg and fell off an over the dock into the water.
"Lindsay!" Trent called.
"Not again!" Bridgette exclaimed as she stood up and dove into the water after Lindsay.
"Oh gosh!" Harold said.
Everyone rushed to the end of the dock and slid off of it, landing on the beach.
"What is going on?" Mike called as he and Zoey began running down to the beach.
"Lindsay fell in!" Sierra yelled. "Then Bridgette went after her."
Jazelle and Lightning ran past Zoey and Mike and straight to the shore.
"We heard the commotion." Lightning said. "Is she okay?"
"Help!" Bridgette yelled from the water as Lindsay fought her, pushing her under. "She's fighting…"
"She's holding Bridgette's head underwater!" Jazelle screamed as she jumped into the water herself. "Lindsay, stop! I'm coming to help you."
Mike grabbed a yellow ringed buoy from the beach shed and tossed it out to Jazelle.
"Put this around Lindsay!" Mike called.
With all of her strength, Jazelle managed to somehow lift Lindsay off of Bridgette and onto the ring.
Bridgette's head popped up out of the water and she gasped for air.
"Bridgette, grab this!" Zoey yelled as she tossed out another buoy.
Bridgette grabbed the buoy as Zoey pulled her into shore, with Mike and Jazelle teaming up to bring Lindsay in.
By this time, all of the contestants gathered around the beach and watched Lindsay and Bridgette cough up water.
"Lindsay!" Jasmine called. "Can you hear me?"
"Hey, Jasmine!" Lindsay said. "I'm sorry for being so clumsy!"
"It's okay." Devin responded. "Most importantly, you're all safe."
"Nice shirt!" Lindsay said, sitting up. "My friend's brother, Marco, had the same one. Except it was purple and orange."
"Wait, you remember that, Lindsay?" Carrie asked.
"Yeah! I felt bad for him because he thought he could pull off purple although it wasn't really his palette."
"Lindsay, did you get your memory back?" Heather asked.
"Uh…" Lindsay thought. "I lost my memory?! I don't remember that!"
"Impressive." Eva laughed as she walked away from the beach.
Eva Confessional:
"That girl will go to such lengths, won't she? I see you Lindsay, and I'll make sure I'll expose you for all of your lies."
"Brunch time!" DJ called over the intercom.
Bridgette hugged Jazelle and Zoey as they all got up and headed to the Main Lodge. "You guys saved my life, if you ever need anything, just tell me!"
Jazelle and Zoey hugged her back.
"We're teammates." Jazelle said. "That means you're our family now, and family helps each other."
Zoey nodded. "That's right, Bridgette. We have your back as long as you have ours."
