Sasuke travels the globe in search of more Otsutsuki, and finds something greater: the possibility of traveling not only between dimensions but parallel universes. He also finds that he and Naruto didn't exactly defeat fate with their actions, and that a bigger threat than any Otsutsuki lies between worlds. (Takes place after the Last movie.)
