Kairi pov.

Beep Beep Beep.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off and I pulled the covers right back over my head. I was never a big fan of mornings. "Goodmorning." Namine jumped on my bed and giggled. She pulled the blanket off me and I snatched them back. "NO, five more minutes please." I said while throwing my head back in the pillows. "Well someone isn't a morning person, too bad! it's school day." she said patting my head like I was a little kid. She jumped up and I stammered to the bathroom. I picked up my toothbrush and began brushing. "I'm off to Roxas we will see you at breakfast." Namine's head appeared at the door and she waved. I waved back and grabbed the brush so I could do my hair in a ponytail.

Great the first day of school. I'm a little nervous and scared to meet more people. I was lucky Namine was this nice but what if I see someone of my old school? My life would be doomed. I let out a loud sign and walked to my dresser. I grabbed some clothes and quickly put on some eyeliner with mascara. I grabbed my stuff. And walked out.

I walked into a big room with lots of tables and i scanned the room and searched for my roommate. I spotted her right in the middle already eating her breakfast and talking to her boyfriend. I went to the end of the line and waited so i could grab a bowl of cereal. I wasn't a real big eater in the morning but I could eat more at lunch. I walked toward the table as soon as I was done getting some food. Roxas waved and Namine patted the seat next to her. "good morning grumpy head." She said laughing and Roxas was confused. "Good morning. " I said digging my head into my food and she laughed louder. "Are you nervous?" He asked and I nodded. "Yea a little." "Don't worry Kairi, you will be fine. I believe in you." Namine said and holded my hand. I smiled and nodded.

I walked to my locker, class wouldn't start until 8:30 so I got 10 more minutes to find and figure out my locker. As I expected I couldn't open the slot and I slammed it a little. "Can you move, you're in the way." A voice said annoyedly and I jumped. I quickly stepped out of the way and turned around. I was lost for words. I met eyes with the guy and boy what was he handsome. He had spiky brown hair with ocean blue eyes that you could get lost in. He rolled his eyes and brushed past me to his locker. He looked so annoyed but I didn't care I was still lost for words. I snapped out of my stare when he turned around looking more mad now. Jeez, first time seeing a boy or something?" He said sharply and I stammered. "Sorry." He rolled his eyes again and slammed his locker close before he walked off. I was left speechless.

I walked to my classroom still trying to figure out what just happened but it was all so fast and strange. I stepped in the room and sat down in the first possible place I saw. The class started to fill soon after I came in and the teacher was right on time when the bell rang. "Good morning class. I'm mr. Blake and welcome on you're first day of school. We do things a little different here and start with a sort of speed date so you can get to know the person you will spend a whole semester with or maybe even longer." He said while handing out some papers. "Start with the person that's the closest to you and pick a few questions from the paper you just received, you'll get ten minutes and then you switch." He set a timer and I walked over to a guy that just sat there staring out the window.

"Hi I'm kairi." I said while sitting next to him. I saw him rolling his eyes and I knotted my eyebrows together. What the? I read the questions mr. Blake wrote and decided to ask where he lived. "So where are you from? I'm from hollow bastion." I said as happily I could and he turned around. "Listen woman, I'm not here to make new friends, so keep your mouth shut for the next ten minutes so we can swap partners." He was really angry and my blood started to boil. "No, look I don't want this either but the teacher want us to get to know each other." He rolled his eyes at me and he looked down at his paper. "Fine." His eyes scanned the questions and he finally said something. "I'm from Twilight town." "Really? Do you know Roxas?" I said without thinking and his face softened. "Yea, he is one of my best buddies." I smiled. "I'm Hayner." He held his hand out and I shook it. "Nice to meet you." He gave me a smile. "Sorry that i snapped but I'm really jealous at these boys." He pointed at a group that surrounded a girl that laughed at something the guy next to her said. "Is she your girlfriend?" He snickered. "I wish, no I've been crushing on her for years now." I nodded and kept my gaze on the girl. "Times up, now switch with the person closest to you again." Mr. Blake's voice filled the room and luckily for me i was closest to the girl Hayner liked.

"Hi, I'm Olette." The girl said as I sat next to her. "I see you met Hayner." She said making eye contact with him and he gave her a sweet smile. "I did." I said and she nodded. "I'm Kairi, nice to meet you." "So Kairi, why did you go to this college?" Crap the only question I tried to avoid, quick Kairi think! You can't say well because I trying to avoid old friend and my ex so i picked this college because it's a eight hour drive. "I head the education is really good." Smooth Kairi. "Me too, what do you like to do in your free time?" She asked an other question. "I read a lot and I'm a professional bing watcher." She bust out laughing. "Yea, same."

The time flew by and I learned some new things from Olette. She was really nice and loved to talk. She stayed on the same floor and guess what? We have the same classes! So I made a friend? Can I call her my friend? We walked to English and I met eyes with Hayner. He was staring at Olette while we passed him and I could tell he wanted to talk to her so bad. "Hey Hayner." "Olette! H-hi!" He stammerd and she giggled. I sat next to Ollete and we still had some time left before class would start. "I'll be back in a sec, need to use the bathroom." Olette said. I grabbed my phone from my bag and I saw a text from Namine. 'How was your frist class? Did you make any friends? Are you being nice?' I giggled and texted back. 'Yes mom, I made two friends I think and yes I'm nice, so i can say class was fine?' I shook my head but the smile stayed on my face. My phone buzzed. 'Good to hear, we will see you at lunch!' "Hey." Olette sat down again and I put my phone in my bag. "Goodmorning, class." A woman walked in and everyone mumbled a goodmorning back. "I hope you'll have a good year." She said and soon after she started with writing.

After English I had two hours of art together with Olette and Hayner. This was my favorite class so far because I loved to draw as long as i could remember. Rikku and Zack made fun at me for loving art but that's only because they're bad at it. Zack was good at sports and he was the best of his rugby team. Rikku was the head cheerleader and now i think about it, they're made for each other. I was pulled back to reality when Ollete laughed at something Hayner said. His face was red as a tomato and he scratched his head. I noticed I had a little smile on my face while admiring them.

Finally my favorite time of the day! Lunch. I skipped to my locker as fast as I could and the same spiked hair that left me speechless this morning blocked my locker. Great... i kept my distance and a girl with short black hair appeared next to him. He warped his arms around her and they walked off. "KAIRI." Two arms hugged me from behind and I bust out laughing. "Hi Nam." She wore a big smile on her face. "I missed you. Come on everyone is waiting!" She said happily as a little puppy. I opened my locker and left my stuff in it and she almost ran to the cafeteria. I saw Roxas waving and Namine literary jumped towards him giving a him a kiss on the cheek. "I found her, now we can eat." I playfully rolled my eyes and Roxas greeted me. "Hi, how is your first day so far?" He handed me a plate with some pizza on it and my mouth was watering. "Good, i met Hayner and Olette." I said while stuffing my face. "Oh, they're friends of my." I nodded and swallowed. "Yea i heard, they're really nice."

"Hello beautiful." Riku sat next to me and I gave him a quick smile before i took another bite. "Did you miss me?" He asked and I rolled my eyes. "Yes very much." I said sarcastically and his grin got bigger. "Knew it, no girl can resist me." I tried to disagree but i was interrupted by a voice i didn't like. "What is she doing at our table?" Yup, the same guy that i tried to avoid just a few minutes ago. "Come on Sora, be nice." Riku said and he took a bite of his food. He and the girl with short black hair sat next to Roxas and he looked me deathly in the eye. "Hi, I'm Xion." The girl waved and I gulped. Crap lost for words again. "This is Kairi, my roommate." Namine said happily and Xion nodded. "Nice to meet you." I gave her my best fake smile. "She's the girl i told you about, the one that never saw a guy or something." Sora said as loud he could and my face burned up. Xion now looked a little annoyed at me but her face went back to normal before it was noticeable.

I felt really down at the moment and I think Namine knew because she started to defend me. "Well get used to it because she's my best friend just like Xion." She winked at me and I gave her a sad smile. Sora rolled his eyes but kept his mouth shut. Xion gave him a kiss on the cheek and he smiled. "So are you all ready?" Roxas got up and walked towards the doors. "Please excuse me but i need my daily sunlight." Namine grabbed my hand and dragged me along. "Come on, i want to know everything!"

School was over sooner than I expected. I was on my way to my dorm when Ollete came rushing to me. "Hey, kairi." She said while catching her breath. "Hey." "Are you free friday night and if so do want to go to the party? Hayner will be there too." "What party?" I asked. "Uh, Axel? I think that's his name, is throwing a party." She tapped her chin while thinking and I giggled. "Yea, Axel. Sure i will join you on the party." Her smile grew bigger. "Great, see you tomorrow in class!" And she ran off.

I kept on walking towards my dorm now with a smile on my face. Yes it was a good idea to go here.
