(DISCLAIMER! Cat is 16 in this story. I'll explain why in post-chapter notes. This chapter takes place a month after chapter 4. Not sure how this turned out but I hope you enjoy)

It was a Friday morning at the University of Wild Magic. Both Luz and Amity were asleep and cuddled together with Amity in Luz's arms and Amity's head on the human's chest. The Alarm went off, waking up Luz. She slowly opened her eyes and reached to shut the alarm off with one arm and left the other wrapped around her wife. Amity wasn't fazed by the alarm and was still asleep. Luz rubbed her eyes with her free arm and when she removed her hand from her face she saw that her hand had taken her Titan form. Luz looked at her hand shocked as she closed her eyes for a few seconds and when she opened them her hand was back to normal. Luz had no idea what just happened but she was still half asleep so she just thought it was just in her head. She didn't feel any different so she elected not to worry about it at this moment. Luz turned her attention to her sleeping wife and placed a kiss on her head waking her up.

"Good morning Mi Amor," Lus said with a smile as Amity looked at her.

Amity wrapped her arms around Luz and placed a warm kiss on the human's lips, "Good morning, my Champion."

Luz giggled at her awesome wife, "Sleep well?"

Amity nodded in response, "Wanna just lay in bed and cuddle all day?"

"Hermosa, you know I have classes today."

Amity groaned but released her wife, albeit reluctantly. Luz got up and went to the bathroom to get ready.

"Are we still on for tomorrow night?" Amity asked.

Amity and Luz were never able to have that date at the new Human Realm/Demon Realm diner after they helped Boscha. So they planned to make up for it on a day they both had nothing to do. That day was tomorrow

"Of course, sweet potato!" Luz replied from the bathroom, "You got anything you're doing today while I'm in class?"

"I'm meeting up with Willow," Amity answered, "Me and Emira are helping her plan her and Hunter's wedding."

"Aww that sounds fun!" Luz responded as she came out of the bathroom and grabbed her bag. She went to Amity and placed a kiss on her lips, "I gotta go now. Can't be late for class. I love you, Ami!" Luz said as she walked out the door.

Luz was walking down the hall to her class. Unfortunately, her first class was on the other end of the school so she had quite the walk. As she was walking she started reading a menu for the new Human Realm/Demon Realm restaurant that she got. However, her mind kept going back to what happened with her hand this morning. She didn't know what to think. Maybe she was just seeing things which meant that it was probably time to see her therapist again. She was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard someone yell for her.

"Luuuuz!" Luz turned and saw Cat waving at her.

"Hey, Cat!" Luz replied as she stopped waiting for Cat to catch up with her.

"I haven't seen you in a while!" Cat said, "I never got to congratulate you and Amity on your marriage, I heard the wedding was beautiful!"

"Thanks, dude." Luz said, "Being married to Amity has finally given me a lot of peace in my life. I've never been this happy before and I'm so thankful to Titan for this beautiful life I've made for myself." Luz stopped herself for a second, "Sorry Cat, I didn't mean to gush…"

Cat laughed at the human, "Don't be sorry, I think you two are so cute together!" She replied, "I'm sorry I missed the wedding."

Liz waved it off, "Don't worry about it."

"Mind if I walk with you?" She asked Luz

Luz nodded, "Of course, I don't mind! How have things been going for you? Training going well?" Luz asked as they started walking together.

"Oh, it's going great!" Cat answered, "I was told by this time next year I'll be able to teach my own class."

"It's still funny that two of the youngest people here are teachers," Luz replied.

"I'm technically not a teacher yet though."

Luz shrugged her shoulders, "You might as well be."

Cat lightly laughed at this, "I guess. Do you have any plans for the weekend?" She asked Luz.

"Yeah! Me and Amity have a date tomorrow night at that new diner in town. The one that serves human and demon realm food."

"Really? You're so lucky!" Cat replied,

Luz looked at her confused, "Why don't you go? It's not far."

"I don't like going to restaurants by myself, especially those more fancy ones."

Luz thought for a second and came up with an idea. "Ask your friends to go with you. Make it a friend's night!"

"I can't. Amelia is going to school outside of town now and I feel like a third wheel hanging out with Boscha and Skara since they started dating."

Luz started to feel a bit guilty. While she didn't regret helping them get together she felt bad for Cat. "Sorry about that, It's kinda my fault."

"Oh no, don't be!" Cat replied, "I'm happy they are together. They are great for each other and it's great to see Boscha have a warm smile on her face."

The conversation was cut short as they arrived at Luz's class, "This is my stop."

Cat hugged Luz which she returned, "See ya around!

"Later!" Luz replied

(GUS'S CLASSROOM)

Gus was currently sitting at his desk reading through student papers. This was a common thing for Gus in the morning. He gets to the class and starts looking at and grading his students' classwork. It wasn't his favorite thing to do but one thing that made him happy was that he had no students who were flunking.

"Hey, Gus!" Cat said walking in.

Gus looked up at the papers, "Hey." he replied as she finished grading the last one.

"What's up?" Cat asked Gus as he finished grading the last paper.

Gus leaned back and made a huge sigh, "Just a long week. I'm ready for the weekend."

"Got plans?"

Gus shook his head, "Nothing in particular."

Cat glanced at Gus's desk and saw what looked like a restaurant menu. She picked it up and saw it was from the same restaurant that she and Luz were talking about earlier.

"You've been there before?" She asked Gus pointing at the menu.

Gus nodded, completely forgetting that he left the menu on his desk, "I went when it first opened. What about you?"

"Nope." Cat answered, "I don't like going to these special restaurants by myself, and all my friends are always busy."

Gus looked at Cat feeling bad for her. He worked with her almost every day so they talked about random stuff a lot. This wasn't the first time Cat mentioned that she couldn't hang out with her friends as much. Amelia moved away and her other two best friends were dating each other. They all still talked but hanging out was a rare thing.

"I can go with you," Gus said, surprising Cat.

Cat turned her head to Gus with a shocked but excited expression on her face, "Really?"

"Yeah, I don't mind going with you, if you want to of course."

Cat clapped her hands together, "Yes! That sounds fun! Wanna go tomorrow?"

"Sure let's do it," he replied

Shortly after the students started coming into the classroom. They would talk more about this later.

(THE NEXT NIGHT)

Luz and Amity arrived at the restaurant and as they expected it was somewhat busy. Not packed but still a good amount of people. Thankfully Amity had called ahead and reserved a spot. Despite the restaurant being open for over a month this was the first time they had ever been. Both enjoyed their respective meals and talked about things they wanted to do with their life together after Luz finished school. It was just nice they both had a night together just the two of them.

"Aw dang it!" Amity groaned, "I got sauce on my shirt!"

"It's ok Hermosa," Luz replied trying to calm her wife down.

"I'm gonna head to the bathroom and clean this up, I'll be right back sweetie." Amity got up and made her way to the restroom

"Take your time, hun."

Amity went into the restroom and quickly got her shirt clean and proceeded to get back to her wife. On her way back to her table she bumped into someone

"Oh! I'm sorr-" Amity stopped herself when she saw she ran into Cat, "Oh, hey Cat!"

"Hey, Amity!" Cat said, "I thought you and Luz would have been gone by the time I got here."

"Yeah, Luz told me she talked to you about coming here. I thought you didn't like coming to these places by yourself?"

"Oh, I found someone to come with me!" she replied.

Gus walks in and Amity looks surprised seeing him with Cat.

"Hi Gus, I didn't know you and Cat were hanging out," Amity said, giving Gus a fist bump.

"Yeah, it's good to see you too, Ms. Noceda-Blight," Gus replied, teasing Amity with her new married last name causing Amity to blush.

"You were right, Gus. Her whole face does turn red." Cat teased.

"Right? She looks as red as a stop sign." Gus replies, teasing Amity even more.

Amity flicked a small drop of Abomination goo on Gus's face as payback for the teasing.

Gus wiped it off his face, "I deserved that."

Cat giggled at the two's antics, "Well, we need to get to our table."

"Yeah," Amity replied, "I need to get back to Luz. See you guys later!"

The two said their goodbyes to Amity and went back to their table. Amity did the same

Amity looked back at the two with a grin on her face, "I have got to tell Luz about this!"

Gus and Cat arrived at their table and started to look through their menus. The menus contained a variety of food from all parts of the human world, things that Cat had never heard of.

"Wow!" Cat gasped, "There is a lot of stuff on here. How did this place learn about this stuff?"

"After Luz killed Belos, she and her mom would share a lot of traditions about the Human realm to all of us," Gus explained, "Some guy had the idea to make a hybrid restaurant and asked Camila about different human realm food so she brought him a lot of different books with different types of human delicacies."

Cat continued to look at the menu, "I just can't seem to decide there are so many things. I wanna try everything!"

Gus laughed at her, amused by her excitement "You think that would be a good idea?"

Cat frantically shook her head, "Absolutely not! Can't afford and even if I could I wouldn't be able to finish all of it."

"Speaking of that, feel free to order whatever you want, It's all on me."

Cat looked at Gus with a shocked expression, "Really? Are you sure?" Gus simply nodded in response, "Aww how sweet of you!

Their waiter arrived and took their orders. Gus ordered a Griffon egg omelet and fried enchilada. During his time trapped in the Human realm, Camila cooked enchiladas pretty regularly and it became one of Gus's favorite meals. Since Cat didn't know what most of the menu was she ordered the same thing. It didn't take long for the food to come out. As they ate, the two talked about multiple things. Cat asked Gus about that month he was staying in the human realm and then they would talk about her plans once she was training to be a teacher. Gus always enjoyed the time he spent with Luz and the others being about to spend time with someone new felt odd but in a very nice way. After about two and a half hours and enjoying the meal. Gus paid the bill and the two took their leave.

"That. Was. Fantastic!" Cat said as they both arrived outside. She gave Gus one of the biggest Hugs he ever received, "Thank you so much for inviting me out here."

"Y-Yeah," Gus replied as his face turned a tint of red, "I'm glad you enjoyed it."

"This was fun! I wouldn't mind coming here more often."

Gus unconsciously rubbed his shoulder and began to speak, "Well if you want we can do this again, and make it a weekly thing."

"Absolutely! "I would love that!" Cat replied. She then pulled out her palisman and got it. "Well, I'm gonna head home before it gets too late. Same time next week?"

Gus gave Cat a thumbs up, "Sure!"

"Cool! I'll see you Monday, bye!" Cat said as she flew away

Gus watched as she flew away. After she was far enough away Gus pulled out his crow phone and called Willow.

"Hello?" Willow answered.

"Hey, Willow! I have something to tell you…" Gus says as he tells her about his most exciting day with Cat.
