The Emperor pointed to one of the guards and said, "Leave the room with the girl and wait for your partner, who I will be talking to before you can go to the pit."

The Guard obediently and emotionlessly said, "Yes, sir. She will learn." Then, he left the throne room to meet with Liliana and his fellow guard. He whispered the Emperor's plan into his partner's ear and nodded as Liliana walked ahead.
They escorted Liliana through the hallways and the now-empty main room to leave the palace.
The guards brought the blonde girl to their transport car and ordered, "Get in. We are going to your location." Liliana nodded at the instructions, uneasy about the Emperor's intention with this mission.
The blonde opened one of the vehicle's back doors and sat in the middle of the back row as the guards sat in the driver and passenger seats. Then, one of the guards started the car, and the car started moving.
Liliana thought as she rode, "I don't know what to think anymore. I don't know who to trust. I hate how some people think they can use me without repercussions. I will use this mission to prove that rapist Emperor wrong. No matter what I do, I will always be an outcast. How could I ever return to society after I rejected its strongest person? I will use this experience of exploration as a time for personal growth. Even if the rule of the Core is an evil person, I would still die for this Empire, and if I must, I will. If I survive, I will save the Core from that hedonistic sadist. This Empire will crumble over his reign, and now I know why the foundations have started shaking. I will not be surprised if this Empire falls into Civil War by the time I return. Honestly, I hope his regime falls when I am in the Core. After twelve minutes of driving, the three Core soldiers stopped by the tunnel leading into the Core's lower level and stepped out of the car. The tunnel was in a forested piece of wilderness.
Liliana saw guards step out of the car and asked, "Why are you stepping out of the vehicle when I am the only person going on this mission?"
The guard who got the secondhand message of the plan smiled and responded, "We are going to give you a nice little gift first."
Liliana quickly realized what was happening and started running toward the tunnel, but the guard was faster. He pinned the blonde girl against the rocks around the tunnel and ripped her clothes off as his partner watched. She attempted to resist, but the man's overwhelming might was enough to subdue her.
