Liliana turned her flashlight on and ventured into the darkness. As she walked, she thought, "I better not get stuck down here. Whatever killed Simon is probably already in me. If I am already stuck, I am living on borrowed time."

She walked step after step through the rocky tunnel. Her bare, pale feet collided with the wet, cold, rocky floor as she stepped one foot after another. The uncomfortable feeling of the frigid floor caused the blonde to accelerate as she walked.

She thought, "There must be an end to this. Surely, I won't be stuck in this Inferno forever."

Suddenly, Liliana stepped on what felt like a slimy rock. She quickly lost her balance when her foot slipped, falling to the floor. The blonde landed on her front, with her large luscious boobs crashing on the slimy rocky. Quickly, she attempted to regain control of herself and put her hands on the long, wet rock to get up. She thought, "It is probably dead, but I don't want to be here when I find out it's not. I've already had to deal with one horrific creature today. Two is too much." After a few more minutes of walking, Liliana found a large, cubical cave with metal boundaries. The alloy seemed corroded and rusted, and the formerly smooth metal felt as rough as gravel. This relic had certainly seen better days. On the outside of the cavern, there was a sign that read, "Inner Core Research,"

Liliana thought, "This seems ancient. Someone probably made this when this place was safer. This room probably has some crucial information. Well, there is only one way to know.". She entered the area.

Once the blonde stepped into the metallic room, she saw a large, primitive holoprojector, multiple cabinets, and a red symbol on the wall she did not recognize. The mural was circular, showcasing a large and powerful bird with a snake in its talons. Below the mural, some words read, "Glory to the Kingdom of the Core, the first of its kind.".

Liliana thought, "What does this mean by 'first of its kind'? Were they the first to unify this area? The Core has always existed. I am unaware of a time before a unified core, so this must be as old as dirt."

Then, she walked to the cabinets and saw a book that said on the cover, The Building of the Core.

The blonde thought, "Someone built the Core? I thought this place always existed. What is this about?" She picked the book and read the first sentence, "This book is about The Architects and their journey to build the Core we all know and love today." Liliana continued reading the book and found that the architects built The Core over a supermassive black hole in the middle of the galaxy. She also discovered that The Architects were a massive Empire on the Core planet, which spent most of their energy building the Core. The original design was a barrier surrounding the black hole with a layer of metal rooms just above the foundations. The Architects created The Core as a massive hub for the Empire, but after a few decades, a man dubbed "The Great Architect" emerged and invented terraforming. They placed a new layer on top of The Core, which created layer after layer of dirt and rock to make it a hub. Then, after it finished with the layers, it made plant life, animal life, and many diverse biomes. The Architects built many cities on the terraformed Core and used it as a vital commercial hub. The Great Architect was never seen again after the beginning of the terraforming process.

Eventually, after flipping through page after page, Liliana found a map of the Core showing various landmarks and the original core.

Suddenly, the blonde thought, "There is probably some vital information at that original layer. I could get there and return with information about this station's founding. They would celebrate me as a hero, and the Core would be able to do some incredible things. I even have a map, so I know where to go when lost. This finding is crucial to my future."

Then, she continued looking in the cabinets for more information about this research base. Most of the files were about obscure species of plants, bacteria, and animals in the lower regions of the Core. Liliana saw that most animal files were about bugs, which the blonde did not care about. Then, two files caught her bright blue eyes. One was the file of a creature called the tentacle snake, and the other was on one the researchers called the tentacle pit. She recognized the snake as the creature that tried to eat her and the pit as the mutilated creature from a few minutes ago.

The file said about the tentacle snake, "The tentacle snake is one of the most deadly creatures in the lower levels of the core. They have become increasingly common in the Core and have been the main reason for our lack of exploration in the lower levels. Researchers hypothesize that they came into being during the planet's terraforming. They have taken many lives and made the underground a dangerous place."

Then, Liliana read the tentacle pit file, which said, "The tentacle pit is a dangerous carnivore that lives in the tunnels of the Core. They live in holes with their tentacles barely under the surface. When the pit senses prey nearby, it will strike its tentacles at the victim and drag it into its mouth to consume. This creature has taken many lives in the Core, making exploration dangerous. Remember to be armed in the lower regions of the Core to ensure your safety."

The busty blonde scoffed at the last sentence as she did not even have clothes. She knew the odds were against her, but she tried to retain the little optimism she still had in her mind.

The blonde thought, "I already killed one of those tentacle snakes and found one of those tentacle pits mangled and killed. If those are the two most dangerous things here, I have nothing to fear."

Then, Liliana grew tired. She had been awake for the past 16 hours, and the physical toll of exploration started to show. The blonde tried to ignore these signs, but now, there was no way to ignore them. She needed to find a place to sleep.

The girl looked around and thought, "If I am going to sleep anywhere, it has to be here. Nothing is going to get through those doors and attack me. I am safe here, and tomorrow, I can continue my exploration. Now, it is time to sleep."

Liliana walked to the back corner of the rusted metal room and laid her body on the floor. The cold, hard metal touched her body and gave the side of her naked butt cheek chills.
