Tai is currently staring out the distance, thinking. "I know I've seen Graymon before, but where and when did I see him?" He sighed. "We've almost searched there whole island an still haven't found any people. Just some monsters with attitude. But they couldn't beat our Digimon friends who could turn into these awesome fighters! Like when Agumon digivolved into Greymon and kicked Shellmon to the curb. He was so cool!" Tai thought with a grin. "Yo, Agumon!" He calls.
"What's up Tai?" Agumon asks.
"I like it when you're Graymon. No offence, but why don't you stay that way?" Tai asks.
"I can't." The Digimon answered simply, causing Tai to huff. "But even superheroes need a rest." Tai loses his footing and teeters on the edge, Agumon grabs Tai's shirt and pulls him back. Everyone laughed at the scene. When suddenly they hear a roaring and a second later a Digimon smashed through a rock.
"Who's that Digimon?" Izzy asks.
"It's a Monochromon." Answered Tentomon. "But don't worry about him. He's a laid back Digimon." Monochromon roared again. "Although, it is cautious with a Monochromon. They do tend to get miffed when they're hungry." Monochromon walks towards the Digidestined "
"Then he must be starving cause he's looks really mad!" Tai cried.
"And I think he wants to eat us!" Mimi said as another Monochromon roars as it comes into view.
"There are two of them!" Matt yells, grabbing TK's hand. "We're caught in a rock and two sets of teeth!"
The two charge at each other, clashing and their horns locked like swords as they smashed rocks.
"Something must've set those Monochromon off!" Tai said.
"They're fighting over territory." Tentomon told him.
"They can just have it then!" Palmon said before she started running, and Mimi follows.
"Hey! Don't leave without me!" Mimi cried. The rest quickly followed them.
"They definitely don't need us hanging around!" Tai exclaimed as they all ran, TK trips and falls to the ground. Matt helps his little brother back to his feet.
"TK, come on!" Matt impatiently said.
"Better hurry up, you guys!" Tai calls to the brothers.
"Ok, we're coming!" TK calls back, getting back to his feet and starts running again, Matt right behind him. The two large Digimon continued to battle each other as they got closer to the edge, and soon both fall over the edge and makes a big splash in the sea below.
Thankfully the Digidestined were now miles away, and the sun is starting to set. The jungle has street signs planted in the ground. The whole group started to get tired.
"I don't walk this much unless I'm at the mall, and as you can see, we're nowhere near one." Mimi complained as she leaned on a tree.
"Mimi stop whining." Tai said as he walked past her.
"NO!" She cried. "My feet hurt!"
"Maybe if you'd take off your boots and socks, you'd feel better Mimi." Agumon suggested. "It's much more practical I think."
"I'm not walking in the dirt in my bare feet!" Mimi exclaimed, offended. Palmon jogged up to her human.
"I love the feel of dirt under my feet, especially between my toes."
"Gross!" Both Mimi and Meiko cried in union as Palmon got down on her knees and plants her vines into the soil.
"Ah, that hits the spot."
"That only works for plants." Meiko said with her nose wrinkled. "But not use humans!"
Izzy looked up at the sky to see that the sun was coming down. "It appears that we maybe losing our light source."
Sora looked up at the sky. "What a weird sunset."
Izzy looks at her. "This whole island is weird." He notes. "And who knows what will come out at night?"
Meiko shivered. "Lion Digimon, tiger Digimon." She trails off and jogs closer to Matt.
"Oh my!" TK cried, clinging to his older brother.
"Do you have to scare my brother?" An annoyed Matt grumped at her.
"Stop yelling at her, Matt!" Tai went for a swing.
"Hey, stop that goggle head!" Matt yelled, easily dodging the swing.
"I'm sorry TK." Meiko apologized, looking at the youngest. "I didn't mean to scare you."
TK smiled up at her. "It's ok! You didn't."
She returns the smile. "If it counts, I'm scaring myself!"
"You're a regular scardy cat, aren't you?" Matt asked her, and Meiko blushed as she looked away.
"S, so what?" She ran up to the front where Joe and Sora are.
"Matt! Stop that!" Tai yelled, getting angry.
"Wait, I detect water!" Tentomon exclaimed, flying up towards a tree. "Stay here while I check it out!" He made it to the top of the tree and sees a lake. "Yes, as usual, I'm right. It's a lake with fresh, clean water, and a variety of tasty fish. It's a perfect campsite."
"Maybe I can finally soak my poor achy feet." Mimi said.
"Yeah we get to swim!" Gomamon cheered, before he rushed forward, but Joe quickly grabs his tail, causing the Digimon to fall.
"Gomamon, you better wait and make sure it's safe first!" Joe exclaimed.
Matt looked at his brother before turning around. "That's why I think we should keep walking and stop all the complaining."
Tai turns to him. "Everybody's hungry. We have to find some food."
That's a good plan." Joe agrees. "I like that plan a lot."
The Digidestined continued on towards the lake in the jungle. Finding a bunch of transmission towers.
"It should be safe to rest here tonight." Biyomon said.
"Yeah, I love camping outside." Sora nods with a smile.
"If I won't walk in dirt, what makes you think I'll sleep in it?" Mimi complained with a disgusted look on her face.
Tai rolls his eyes. "Mimi, do you a hotel around here?" He asked, getting annoyed by all her complaining and whining. Mimi then gasps and everyone turns to see a trolley car sitting on the beach, headlights on. "What's that?"
"It looks like a trolley car." TK tried to answer.
"That's odd. The lights just came on." Izzy notes.
"Well, maybe there are some real people in there." Sora said.
"Let's check it out!" An excited Tai, cried out.
Everybody ran towards the vehicle.
"Maybe it can take us back home … in air conditioning comfort!" Mimi cried, way ahead of the group.
"I thought Mimi hated exercise?" Meiko asked. "For someone who even refuses to walk for more then a mile, she's fast."
"You should watch Mimi when she goes through the mall." Sora replied.
"Mimi, wait for us!" Tai calls after the girl in pink. The group finally reach the trolley and go inside. Only to find it empty. "Bummer, it's empty!"
"Totally empty." Sora agreed.
"No trolley car's this clean." Izzy comments.
Mimi plops down and beams. "Oh goodie, these cushions are comfy!"
"Something's wrong." Tai frowns. "Remember those weird phone booths we saw on the beach? Something just as freaky could happen here."
"Yeah, like this suddenly moving all by itself." Joe comments.
"Like Casper playing tricks on us?" Meiko asked, looking up at him and the teen just shrugged.
"I'd bet his three uncles."
"Probably, but then again, maybe that's how we're going to get home." Tai replied.
Sora shrugs. "So we don't have nothing to lose by staying here."
"Ohhh, can we eat now?" Tentomon asks.
"That's right, I forgot." Tai said.

Later. Gomamon pops above the water of the lake and swims towards Izzy and TK, sitting on the shore, where Izzy is trying to fish.
"Gomamon, stop playing in the water! I can't catch any fish if you keep on warning them away!" Izzy exclaimed.
"Yum, yum! You can't get too many berries down the hatch!" Tentomon said as Sora and Joe are carrying some firewood.
All the Digimon help in grabbing some food from trees. Mimi is looking at some mushrooms with Palmon, Mimi tried to reach for them but her Digimon stopped her.
"Those are bad mushrooms, you shouldn't pick them! They'll make sick!"
Mimi quickly withdrew her hand. "I'd be a big mess without you, Palmon, you're the best!"
Palmon blushed a little at the praise. "Oh, stop!"

The Digidestined and their Digimon are now grouped around the fire. "We're almost set to cook dinner. Now all we need is the grub." Matt said with hunger.
"Great, but how are we suppose to light the fire?" Sora asks.
"Like this!" Agumon and Guilmon said in union, the two Digimon spewed fireballs at the wood.
TK and Izzy came back from fishing, both carrying a bunch of fish. "Hey, lookit!" TK cheerfully exclaimed as he showed off the fish.
"We caught a bunch of fish!" Izzy said with pride. Tai took one and held it up as he smiled.
"Awesome! Let's eat em!"
"Thanks squirt." Matt said, taking the ones TK is holding, the youngest laughed a little.
Tai holds a fish over the fire by the tail.
"Tai, I don't think you're doing it right." Meiko told him with a frown.
"This is where I wish we had a microwave."
"Me too, because you're about to lose your fingers." Matt said as he walked up to them. "Why don't you use a stick?
Meiko smiles. "Like roasting marshmallows!"
"Yeah." Matt nods.

Once all the fish is cooked, everyone began to eat.
"This is surprisingly good!" Tentomon said as he and Biyomon are eating a large piece of fruit.
"Delicious!" Izzy said, mouth half full of fish.
"Matt, mom only lets me eat fish sticks." TK said, looking at him.
"I won't tell." His brother said.
"I never eat with my fingers." TK added.
"TK, it's alright!" Matt said impatiently and annoyed.
"Yeah, you're hanging with the big boys now!" Tai said cheerfully.
"K." TK started to eat his fish.

Later Meiko sat alone as she watched Tai and Sora. Guilmon jogged up to her. "Whatcha doing?" The Digimon asked.
"Nothing." Meiko shrugs, Guilmon turns to look where her human is looking.
"Oh." She nods. "Better be careful, I think Sora likes Tai too." Her comment made Meiko look at her.
"Don't put that in my head!" The raven haired girl cried. "Besides I'm plain compared to tomboy Sora and barbie doll Mimi."
Izzy walked over to them. "Hey, Meiko." He started nervously. "I'm sorry my alien theories have been scaring the daylights out of you." He apologizes.
"It's ok." She smiles at him. "A few weeks before camp, my cousin made me watch a movie with her called Aliens Among us." Meiko explained. "After that, I've been scared of my own shadow."
Izzy slowly nodded. "Oh, are we ok?" He asked still nervously.
Meiko smiles. "Of course we are!"
Joe walks over to them, looking at the night sky.
"Anything interesting up there, Joe?" Meiko asked him
"I'm trying to figure which direction we've been going, but the stars seem to be all mixed up." The teen's shoulders slouch. "I haven't been able to find the North Star anywhere."
Sora and Tai walk up to them hearing Joe. "I know. I don't recognize any of these constellations." Sora said.
"You're forgetting your astronomy." Tai said. "If you can't see the North Star, then it must be on the other side of the world."
"Do you think we could be in the Southern Hemisphere?"
"Yes, I guess it's possible. That is if we're still on Earth." Joe replied.
"Is that possible?" Meiko asked.
Patamon suddenly let out a loud yawn, ending any further conversation.
"Look, Patamon's tired." TK said as his Digimon laid down. Soon Palmon and Gomamon are pressed against each other, falling asleep.
"I'm getting really tired myself." Tai said with how own yawn.
"Wait a second. I think we should take turns standing guard." Izzy told him.
"Alright, who wants to go first?" Joe asked.
Meiko raised her hand. "I will!"
"I'm not comfortable with that." Tai said, making her look at him dejectedly as she lowered her arm.
"What's that suppose too mean?" She asked hotly, making Tai franticly wave his hands.
"Nothing, nothing at all!" He said while sweating.
"Humph!" Meiko turned on her heel and ran for the trolley, Guilmon following her.
"Beka." Matt thumped Tai in the back of his head.
"Ow!" Tai cried, rubbing his head, turning to the older blonde. "Hey!"
"How about we each take turns for about an hour?" Sora suggested.
"Not TK!" Matt quickly said.
"Aw, come on!" TK whined, tugging on Matt's shirt. "Me too Matt!"
Matt shook his head. "No! You're too young and you need your rest!"
"I'm getting cold. I need a warm blanket to help me sleep." Mimi said. Tai grinned as he went up to Gabumon.
"Hey, Gabumon, Mimi might sneak up on you and steal your fur! So if you feel a little tug, it might be her about to cut your tail off." Tai teased as he grabbed the fur.
"Stop Tai! That's not funny!" Gabumon yelled, running for the trolley. Tai chuckled before Matt shoved him.
"Quit it!"
"Ohh, what are you bugging about?" Tai asked with irritation.
"Gabumon told you to stop! So knock it off!" Matt yelled.
"Hey, you can't tell me what to do!" Tai argued. He and Matt grab each other's shirt and make fists with their free hands and on the verge of decking each other.
"You guys, stop fighting!" TK cried. The two boys huff and shove each other away, turning their backs on each other as they both fold their arms.
"You'd both make great guards. Who goes first?" Joe asks.
"I will!" Tai shouted, turning to him.
"I'm next!" Matt quickly followed.
"How about if Izzy takes over after that, and then I finish up the night?" Joe suggested. "I propose that the rest of us trek back to the bus and gets some rest."

Inside the trolley, Mimi looked around. "I can't sleep with all of you here!" Mimi complained.
"Quit complaining. So it's not perfect. Just be glad we have a place to sleep." Sora said.
"That's right Mimi." Izzy said as he made himself comfortable on the floor.
Both Joe and Meiko took off their glasses and stretched. "Goodnight." Joe yawned.
"I need a nightlight to sleep." Meiko whispered to herself as she laid down, cocking her right arm for her head to rest on as she kept her glasses close as she falls asleep.

Outside the trolley, the mist lifts up. Tai stretched his arms above his head as he lets out a jaw spilling yawn.
"Tai, you don't wanna fall asleep on your first night watch." Agumon said.
"My eyes won't stay open." Tai said drowsily. He stands up and starts to walk to the water. "I'm going the lake and splash some water on my face." He said as he walked, and unknowingly stepped on a red object that's in the ground, the object starts to move in reaction to being stepped on before ceasing. Tai splashed some water on his face, before he notices someone standing not that far. "Huh? Who's there!?" He calls, then notices it's just Matt. "Oh, Matt. Don't you think I can handle this?"
"I couldn't sleep."
"Oh? And why not?" Tai asked, moving over to the blonde.
"Look, I'm sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to get so mad. It's just being here and having to watch TK."
"Don't you guys live in the same house?"
"Not anymore. Our folks are divorced. So, different houses." And with that Matt runs off.

"Huh?" Tai turns when he hears music and sees Matt playing a harmonica. Sighing Tai turns back to the fire and pokes it with a stick, but a spark jumps out of the fire. "Watch out for the sparks!" The ember lands on the fin, and it thrashes around even more violently, this time shaking the whole island. Matt and Gabumon see what's happening as the water is filled with violent waves.
"Oh no!" Matt cried, scrambling to his feet as water erupts as a large serpent like monster emerged from the water and roared.
"What is that thing!?" Tai cried.
"I am Seadramon! I freeze my enemies with my Ice Blast attack!"
The sound of Seadramon's roar, wakes the other Digidestined and Digimon. "What's the horrible sound?" Sora asked.
"I can't see anything, where are my glasses!" Meiko cried in panic, her hands roaming the seats, her left hand knocked her glasses over and she yelps as the trolley suddenly starts moving at a fast rate of speed.
"The trolley's moving on it's own, I don't think it's taking us home!" Joe cried, wearing his own glasses.
"Where's it taking us!?" Meiko cried. "My vision is blurry without my glasses!"
"It's taking us towards that sea dragon!" Izzy answered as he sat on his knees, lookin out a window.
Meiko screamed. "I didn't want to know that!"
"Hmm." Tentomon said, adjusting Meiko's glasses as they had fallen on him. "Oh no!" He cried, pulling off the glasses. "Seadramon!"
Seadramon starts to swim, taking the small island with him. The path between the island and the mainland is now destroyed.
"We're going to get eaten for sure!" Mimi cried as the sea monster races through the water, taking the island with it.
Matt and Gabumon watch as Tai, Agumon, the others and the trolley are pulled along for the wild ride by the sea dragon.
"The trolley's moving!" Matt exclaimed.
"Hold tight, we're going for a ride!" Agumon said.
"It's like we're on a monster long board!" Tai exclaimed as Izzy ran up to them.
"He'll pulling us along by his tail. I don't even think he realizes we're here!" Izzy said.
"Perhaps not. He's a bit dense. As long as he doesn't see us, we should be safe." Tentomon said.
"Don't be so sure." Agumon said.
"You guys jinxed us! Now he knows we're here!" Tentomon said, landing on the red fin.
"What, I didn't do anything!" Both Tai and Agumon said in union. Seadramon pulls his tail - the red patch inside the ground - away from the land.
"He does know we're here!" Izzy cried, as Seadramon splashes his tail in the water.
"Ah! That big red thing was his tail!" Tai exclaimed.
"It wasn't my fault!" Tentomon said. Seadramon slammed the island with his tail. Tai, Agumon, Izzy and Tentomon fell backwards. Seadramon sinks down into the lake as he roared and charges while under the water.
"He's coming back, and he's not happy!" Tai cried.
The sea dragon swims under the island, giving it a head butt, causing it to shoot towards shore.
"We're going to crash into the shore!" Joe exclaimed.
"I'm getting sea sick!" Meiko cried.
"This is really gonna mess up my hair!" Mimi whines.
"TK!" Matt yells, diving into the water and swimming as fast as he could towards the island.
"Matt, I'm just letting you know my fur's gonna get wet and I'm gonna stink!" Gabumon calls to Matt before jumping in.
The island stops in the middle of the lake.
"Great, he left us right in the middle of the lake." Tai said.
"I don't suppose we could trick him into taking us back." Izzy said. Seadramon emerges from the water again.
"Get ready! He's attacking!" Tai yells.
"Come on you guys! Let's send him back to the fishes!" Agumon said.
"No problem!" The other Digimon said.
"Spiral Twister!"
"Boom Bubble!"
The two attacks hit the sea dragon in the face.
"Pyro Sphere!"
"Poison Ivy!"
"Super Shocker!"
"Pepper Breath!"
The attacks do nothing on the giant dragon.
"Agumon, digivolve!" Tai called.
"I've been trying, but I can't seem to do it this time, Tai."
"You have to!"
"Maybe my body hasn't recovered from the last fight."
"But if you can't help us, how are we gonna stop Seadramon?" Tai asked.
"TK, over here!" Matt shouted. TK and Gomamon ran to the other side of the island.
"Matt!" TK cried, seeing Matt swimming towards them. "Matt, be careful or the monster will get ya."- He trails off when the island shakes, causing TK to fall into the water. Gomamon dives after him.
"TK!" Matt cried.
TK emerges sitting on Gomamon's back as they both surface.
"Gomamon, go!" Joe cheered.
"Hurry up, Matt!" Tai calls.
"Get out fast! It's Seadramon! He's back!" Tentomon cried as the giant Digimon roars again.
"Gomamon, you can do it!" Matt said.
"Right!" Gomamon heads back to the island with TK still on his back.
Matt then turns to swim in front of the sea dragon. "Hey! Over here, you overgrown water lizard!" The sea dragon hisses at him.
"Blue Blaster!" Gabumon fires his flame attack, but the enemy bats Gabumon away with his tail. Gabumon screams as goes flying.
Seadramon grabs Matt from under water and pulls him down. Dragging him further under water.
"It's all my fault. Matt was only trying to save me." TK said with tears. "I'll never forgive myself."
"It's not your fault TK." Sora soothed the younger brother. "Don't ever blame yourself."
A loud splash made everyone look up as Seadramon now has Matt tied with its tail.
"Oh no!" Tai exclaimed.
"MATT!" Meiko cried. Matt screams as he's squeezed by the sea dragon's tail.
"This is not good. Seadramon maybe a bubble brain, but once he finds his prey, he won't let go." Tentomon said.
"Matt!" TK cries, clinging to Sora's leg, he turns to his Digimon. "Patamon, please help him! Hit him with a Boom Bubble!"
"Seadramon's way too big, I just don't have enough power now. Gabumon, you're stronger, how about you?"
"You're right. Matt is in trouble and I must help!" Gabumon said.
"GABUMON!" Matt screamed as he's still being squeezed.
"Matt! Don't give up! I'll find a way to save you if it's the last thing I do!" TK cried.
"Matt, hold on!" Gabumon called out. "I don't understand any of this, but I have to save Matt. What's a little stinky fur compared to a friend like him?" Matt's digivice starts to vibrate as it starts to glow.
"Gabumon digivolve to … Garurumon!"
TK, Sora, and Patamon stare in awe.
"I am Garurumon, the digivolved form of Gabumon. I might be a lone wolf, but I never leave my friends hanging. My fur is thicker then steel and can stand up to almost any attack. My Howling Blaster attack is something I give my enemies something to howl about."
The kids on the island watch as Garurumon frees Matt, who falls into the sea and the two Digimon start fighting. Matt swims towards the island and both Tai and Joe grab his arms and pull him out of the water.
"Matt!" TK cried as the older blonde pants and TK hugs his brother's arm. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah." Matt breathed, still panting. "But where's Gabumon?"
"He digivolved to Garurumon, and is now fighting Seadramon." Meiko answered, pointing to the battle in the water. Matt looks at her, then follows her point.
"Garurumon!" He yells. He and the others watch as Seadramon sinks backing the water with smoke steaming from his mouth. Garurumon transfers back into Gabumon, who swims towards everyone.
"Gabumon!" Matt smiles. "You digivolved into Garurumon just in time!"
TK hugs the Digimon. "Aw, Gabumon, thanks for saving my brother!"
"Anytime, little friend." Gabumon said with a blush.
"Matt, you were so awesome against that monster." TK beamed up at his brother.
"You think so?"
"You know, you were the man!" Gabumon said.
"And you're the wolf man!" Matt added.
Everyone laughed.
"Ok, very funny, but how are we suppose to get back?" Joe asked.
"Just watch." Gomamon said, jumping into the water and resurfaces. "Fish Power!" A school of fish soon surround him, and the island is pulled back to shore.
"There seems to be a pattern here." Izzy said. "This time, only Gabumon could digivolve."
"Yeah, Izzy's right. Agumon was the only one who could do it before." Sora realized.
Tai hummus as he thinks back. "You're right. It's all beginning to make sense. Agumon digivolved when I was in danger. That has to be the answer. Our Digimon digivolves when we're in danger."
"Wow, that must be it." Sora said. Mimi snores lightly, falling back against her. "Hey! Watch it!" She lightly pushes Mimi off.
"Is it time to go to the mall?" Mimi asked in her sleep.
"We've been here one day, and I think she's put some muscle on her." Sora said amused.
Tai looks around and saw that everyone was now asleep
