The Digidestined is currently walking through a forest with signs posted between trees when something large flew over their heads, making a loud noise.
"Hey." Sora looked up at the sky.
"Did you hear that?" Tai asked.
A gear is currently flying through air, unknown to the kids.
"It seems to be some sort of aircraft." Matt said.
"Admit it, my alien theory is becoming more plausible." Izzy said.
"Yeah, they hit us with an anti-gravity ray to make us all crooked or maybe that sign's just crooked." Joe said as TK trips on a root on a small hill where the bigger kids are.
"TK!" Sora gasped as Tai picks him up.
"Whoa! That was scary." The youngest said.
"Watch it." Matt told his brother.
"That could've been a snake or worse." Tai told TK, setting the blonde back to his feet.
"Aww, I'm sorry." TK apologized, he turns to Biyomon. "Hey Biyomon, are there really snakes here?"
"No, just giant flying killer bugs and other unpleasant Digimon."
"Don't you worry TK. I'll take care of them!" Patamon said, sounding brave, TK laughs as he hugs his Digimon.
"Ok, now that that's settled, let's get going." Sora said.
"Nothing's settled, and where would we go?" Matt asked. "We don't even know where we are!"
"This is silly, I say we keep moving and see if we can find any signs of intelligent life here." Tai said.
"Hey, wait a minute, is he saying that Digimon are not intelligent? Is that what's he's saying?" Biyomon asks, offended by Tai's comment.
"Not at all. But I think Tai is right. We need to keep moving in hopes of finding out where we are." Sora said. "We need to stay calm and stick together. Let's remember, we're in this together."
"Together sounds good!" Biyomon said. The rest of the group starts walks away as Sora continues. "We can do it! This'll take teamwork. And I'm sure we'll figure exactly where we are and how to get back. There's no point in splitting up because then, once somebody did figure it out, we."-
"Hey Sora? Open your eyes." Biyomon told her.
Sora opens her eyes to see she's being left behind. She and Biyomon ran to catch up. "Well, thanks a lot for waiting!" She calls with sarcasm.
"Moving right along folks, keep moving. Our next step on the tour will be the forest of irrelevant road signs. No pictures please." Matt jokes as they continue to walk through the forest.
"Hey, wait up, my shoelace is broken." Joe said.
"You need new shoes. Ohhhh, new shoes." Mimi smiled at the thought of new shoes.
"Just go for the laceless shoes." Meiko said. "That's been my favorite." She said as they emerge from the forest and into a clearing, finding several telephone poles.
"Look! Telephone poles. I say we follow them and see where they lead!" Matt said
"They'll just lead to trouble." Joe said, they start to walk through the clearing.
"Whoa! What's that!?" Meiko gasped, pointing to a big black gear that flew around the sky. "Izzy if you say one more of those alien mumbo jumbo stuff, I'm gonna wring your neck!" She threatens, giving him a look.
"Well, uh, um." Izzy nervously stuttered as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Whatever it is, it's heading for a close encounter!" Matt exclaimed, watching as the gear crashes into a grass covered hilltop in the distance.
Izzy wipes the sweat from his forehead and sighs, and Meiko pulls her long black hair into a high pony tail.
"Boy, it's so hot I can feel the heat coming though my socks." TK said.
"Well TK, maybe you should put your shoes back on." Matt told his brother.
"Oh, this hot desert air is destroying my complexion." Mimi whines. "How much further is it?"
"Is that all you're worried about, Mimi?" Joe asked. "We'll be lucky if we survive this hike!"
"Hey, does anyone besides me notice those telephone pole have no connection wires?" Asks Sora, getting everyone's attention.
"Whoa! Hey, Izzy, do you think your cellphone could work in this area?" Meiko asked, turning to him.
"How is that gonna work?" Matt asked with a huff. "We're just a bunch of kids lost in a strange world."
Meiko glares at him. "It was just a thought you lone wolf boyband!" An offended look on her face. "I don't see you coming up with bright ideas!"
"Guys, calm down." Tai jogged over to them, placing a hand on Meiko's shoulder and using his free hand to push Matt away from her. "We need to keep cool heads and no more hot."
"That's it! Doomed!" Joe suddenly shouts, freaking out again. "The heat has baked our brains and we're all gonna end up like roasted piglets!"
"Calm down Joe. We've been walking for two minutes." Izzy told him.
"Izzy! Come here, Izzy." Tentomon said, getting his attention. "I think we need to find some shade for Joe and quick."
Mimi walks up behind Joe, humming happily. "You won't believe what's happened to my favorite watch. The sun's melted the numbers right off." She holds up a different compass.
"And for someone who hates hiking, you sure do have a lot of compasses." Tai comments, just before the needle spun rapidly. "Of course, nothing of hers has actually worked."
Izzy lifts a handful of dirt to examine it. "Oh, this dirt contains small traces of metal which could affect the compass needle.
"Oh well, I'm always late anyway." Mimi said
"This is one weird world, and I don't like it one little bit!" Sora said, looking up at the sky.
"I think we should start looking for water, guys." Izzy said. "Otherwise we could dehydrate in all this heat."
"Yeah, but I think we're doing ok for now, aren't we?" Tai asks, but Mimi starts screaming towards the sky.
"HEEEEEEEELP! SOMEBODY PLESE FIND US!"
The black gear grinds through the rock it landed in, while a fiery face starts to growl.
"I've taken this soil sample, measured the barometric pressure, and analyzed the relative humidity." Izzy was sating.
"And what did you find?" Sora asked.
"It's really, really hot." Izzy frowned.
Meiko collapses to her hands and knees and her head lowered down. Everyone raced up to surround her, Tai and Joe on either side of her. "I don't think I can make it." She whispered in a breath.
"Hang on, just a little longer." Tai tried to encourage soothingly, one hand on her back and the other on her right arm. "Don't give up now."
"We're going to be ok." Mimi added, taking off her large hat and gently placing it on Meiko's head. "Just keep moving along."
"Ok." Meiko breathed, she took Tai and Joe's hands and together the boys helped her up as she clutched their hands.
Everyone started to walk again, and TK sniffed.
"Pee yew! What's that yucky smell?"
His brother sniffed. "Here's a thought. Now you know why they call them sweat socks!"
"This beach would be lot more popular if it just had a couple more things." Mimi said. "Like an open ocean, a gentle breeze, snack bar, hunky lifeguards." She listed them off, and Biyomon stops walking, and everyone turns to her, Meiko still looking weak as she still stood between Joe and Tai and holding their hands.
"I have to stop. I just don't think I can go any faster."
"You have to think positive. Let's all pretend that it's raining." Sora told her, who poked up.
"Yeah, that's a great idea! I simply adore the rain!" Biyomon said, nuzzling Sora.
"Me too, but it's time for a reality check." Matt said. "This isn't getting any better. It might be a good idea to turn around get out of this desert right now!"
Joe hummed in agreement, feeling Meiko's hand squeeze and un squeeze his hand with weakness.
"You mean before we all have a power outage?" Tentomon asks. "I'll not for that!"
Tai blinks, seeing something. "Wait, hold on for just a second." He slowly lets go of Meiko's hand. "If I'm seeing what I think I'm seeing." He reaches into his pocket for his telescope and looks through it in the distance.
"What is it, Tai?" TK asks.
"Mmm humm, its not a mirage. It's real water!" Tai exclaimed.
"Water?" Meiko repeated, letting go Joe's hand.
"This is fantastic!" He cheers. "Now all we need are some lemons, sugar and some big fat ice cubes!"
"It looks like a village! Maybe we'll find people." Izzy said.
"And shade!" Both Palmon and Guilmon added.
"Maybe they'll have hats for sale. Hang on!" Mimi exclaimed.
"Water and food! I'm hungry enough for broccoli!" TK exclaimed.
"What's broccoli? Is that a joke?" Patamon asked.
"Great! Let's get out of this desert!" Tai cheered. He knelt down, turning to Meiko. "Meiko, I can carry you on my back."
Meiko climbed onto Tai's back, wrapping her arms around his neck and he lifted her up as he hooked his arms around her legs around his waist.
"Let's go guys!" Tai cheered.

The Digidestined and their Digimon discovered the village belongs to friendly Yokomon. "From so far away, everything looks so big." Tai said.
"But they're so cute and tiny." Mimi smiled as Tai lowered Meiko to the ground.
"Are you ok?" He asks in concern as she lowers herself to the ground and sits.
"Yeah, that least there's shade." Meiko smiles at him. "Thanks Tai."
He tried to stop the blush on his face.
"Tai, why is your face turning red?" Agumon asked his human.
"N, nothing!" Tai stuttered.
"It's as red as a tomato." Matt teased.
"Shut it!" Tai yelled at him.
"What's a human being?" A Yokomon asked, and the Digidestined turned to see the small Digimon looking at them. "If you're not Digimon, then what are you doing in Digimon-World?"
"This is great. There's now way we'll be able to fit inside this place." Joe groaned.
"Relax Joe. At least the natives are friendly." Matt tried to calm him down.
"Oh my! I would just love to take one home and put it on my bed with all my other stuffed animals!" Mimi gushed cheerfully.
"There she goes again." Matt complained. "Do you think Mimi hears the same things we hear? I'm not sure anymore."
"Maybe she's an alien spy." Izzy jokes, as Patamon lands on Matt's head.
"TK's tired and hungry." The Digimon said.
"He's not the only one." Joe deadpanned as he plops down next to Meiko.
"Biyomon, just when did you Digivolve?" A Yokomon asks.
"When I met Sora. We share a special bond which is magical."
"You don't talk like us anymore. Is that how all Biyomon talk?" Another Yokomon asks.
"No, it's how the big ones talk. I suppose I just picked it up from Sora." Biyomon explained. "She is a wonderful and kind human being and I've already learned a lot from her."
"We still don't understand how you Digivolved. What is it about being around human beings the makes it happen?"
"Sora needed me. I had to protect her."
"She needed me?" Sora asked, then thought about the past two times when Agumon Digivolved to save Tai, and Gabumon Digivolved to save Matt. "We're lucky kids." Sora said while smiling. Biyomon tapped Sora's cheek.
"Sora. We're invited to have dinner with the Yokos. They said they'd be willing to share their food with all of us." Biyomon said.
"Oh, wow." Sora said.
The kids all cheer, with Joe raising his hands in the air. "Let's see hands if you want lemonade!" Joe cried out.
"I wonder what Yokomon eat." TK said curiously.
"I'll take a cheeseburger, fries and a shake." Tai said.
"I wonder what they will be serving. Perhaps some bone with meat, lettuce topped with fish and."- Izzy was imaging the food, when a plan glass of water hits the imagination.
"Water!" Meiko cried.
"Look everybody, a fresh water fountain!" TK cheered. "Hurray!"
"Oh, the water here is piped in from a spring at Mihirashi Mountain." The first Yokomon said.
"Forget the world. Mount Mihirashi water is the best in the galaxy." Tentomon said.
"Where's Mount Mihirashi?" TK asked.
The Yokomon all turn. "Up there!" They all said in union.
TK looks at the volcano. "Hey, that's a live volcano!"
"Yes, but the heat boils away all the germs." A Yokomon replied, before a rumbling sound is heard.
"If I'm not mistaken, that noise precedes an eruption!" Izzy cried, just before the group screams and jumps back as a column of fire erupts from the village well.
"That's cool, but me and Meiko still didn't get a drink." TK pouted as they stood around the water fountain.
"What's happening?" Tai asked.
"The water evaporated!" Another Yokomon answered.
"That's ok because the lake is always full of water." Another Yokomon said.
"I'll check it out." Tai said, before running for the lake.
"Let's all go." Matt said and followed. Everyone reached the lake, only to find it bone dry.
"The water's all gone." Izzy said.
"Goodness, where did it all go?" Mimi asked.
"Someone pulled the plug." TK tried to answer.
"But who would do this to a whole village?" Meiko asked.
"Alright, let's not panic." Tai said. The Digidestined and the Yokomon hurried back to the water fountain, where Tai threw a bucket down. Matt leaned down to listen.
"Dry as a bone." He said.
"I won't give up." Tai said before pulling the rope back up, only to find a singed end where the bucket was. Suddenly another column of flame erupts from the well, causing Tai to jumping back and hopping from one foot to foot.
"Look. Tai's doing a little dance for us! Is that suppose to stop the fire or bring down the rain?" Mimi asked.
"Hey! Do you remember that flying gear we saw earlier?" Matt suddenly asked, remembering the gear.
"It crashed right into a hillside." Izzy remembered.
"Great. Of all the hillsides, the gear crashes into Mihirashi Mountain." Sora sighed.
"That's where the water comes from!" Joe points out.
"That's right. The water comes from a lake on the top of Mount Mihirashi." A Yokomon said. "So a gear crashing into the mountain could affect our water supply."
Izzy hummed as he stroked his chin.
"We don't dare go up there. The mountain is guarded by a fiery Digimon called Meramon. He's hideously dangerous." A Yokomon said.
"I want a closer look at that mountain." Tai, pulling out his telescope. "You say this character Meramon is a fiery Digimon? What does he look like? Nevermind, there he is! He's coming our way!"
"He burns everything he touches! He never comes down off the mountain though, this is very strange behavior for him." Said the Yokomon. The fire Digimon continues to slide down the mountain towards the Yokomon village, screaming in pain.
"Meramon is a fiery Digimon. There's no reason he should be in pain from his own flames … that's his nature." Palmon said as they all watch the Digimon slide down the mountain.
"This is weird. He's cry." Tai said.
"Why?" Meiko asked. "The poor guy."
"It sounds like he's out of his mind in pain." Added Sora.
"What do we do?" Tai asked.
"Look! He's coming straight for the village." Sora points.
"Ok everybody. We need to decide on what we're going to do." A Yokomon said. "He's already reached the foot of the mountain and entered the forest."
"Everybody freeze!" Sora ordered. "Stay very still!"
"You're gonna need more then sunscreen to stop me!" Meramon shouts.
"Don't move a muscle." Sora instructed.
"Burn! Burn! Burn!" Meramon shouts as he exited the forest.
"Ah! Unfreeze! And run!" Shouts Tai as Meramon gets closer to the village, everyone begins to run away and hide in the boat in the dried up lake.
"Come on, keep it moving!" Matt said as he and Sora wait at the giant hole in the boat as the Yokomon enter through it.
"All the way to the rear!" Sora instructs.
"Ok, settle down! There's room for all of you! Will you please stop squirming?" Tai asked as he, Agumon, Meiko, Guilmon, Patamon and TK got everyone to the top of the ship.
"It's going to be ok, everybody, just calm down." Meiko assured.
"Well, here's the next batch, Tai." Joe said as he and Gomamon arrive with, Joe is covered with Yokomon.
"Easy now! You'll be ok!" Matt said as he, Izzy, Tentomon and Yokomon enter the ship.
"Who's not here?" Sora asks before seeing Biymon wasn't with her. "This is bad. Come on, come on!"
"Everyone keep moving now!" Biyomon instructs from a cliff. "Just follow the one in front of you!"
"Biyomon!" Shouts Sora. "Save yourself! Come down while there's still time!"
"I can't until all my friends are safe, Sora!"
"Alright! I suppose I'll just have to come up there after you." Sora said, before running to get her Digimon.
"Hurry!" Matt told the Yokomon as Sora passes him. "Sora, you'll never make it!"
"Where's Sora going?" Joe asked.
"Sora, come back!" Tai yelled.
"Oh good … they're all safe now." Biyomon said as the lat Yokomon runs towards the ship. Sora continues to run towards Biyomon, and suddenly Meramon appears behind the Digimon.
"Watch out! Biyomon, he's right behind you!" Sora cried, causing Biyomon to turn coming face to face with Meramon.
"Go away Meramon! Leave us alone. We're not bothering you!"
Meramon knocks Biyomon out of the sky, sending her down into the dried up lake.
"Biyo! Biyo! I'm coming, Biyo!" Sora cries as she jumps up to catch her rolling Digimon before she could hit the ground. "Are you ok?"
"Sure. I hope that I never do that again, it wasn't very fun." Biyomon answered. "Thank you for coming to rescue me."
"Don't mention it. That's what a friend is for."
"You can say that again. My friend." Said a happy Biyomon. Meramon opens up the palm of his hand, bring out a fireball. "Uh oh! We're still in great danger, Sora. You stay here, it's time for me to rescue you now!" Biyomon flies out of Sora's arms. "You think you're really hot stuff but you're in trouble now! Spiral Twister!"
Meramon easily deflected the attack. "Is that the best you got, weakling?"
"We've got to help her out. He's too big enough to handle." Tai said.
"Right."
"Oh no! She's hit! Biyomon!" Sora cries as she falls to her knees, while Biyomon falls to the ground.
"Come on everybody! We can take that monster!" Tai calls.
"Yeah, this'll take teamwork." Izzy agreed.
"I'm burning, give me your best shot."
"Pryo Sphere!"
"Pepper Breath!"
"Super Shocker!"
"Blue Blaster!"
"Boom Bubble! Pah!"
Those attacks only caused Meramon to grow bigger.
"We need a fire extinguisher." Joe said.
"We need more then one." Meiko replied.
"That only made him bigger." Tai said.
"Why do I suffer so?" Meramon asked.
"If we knew why he was cry, it might help to stop him." Tai replied.
"Well, fire's not affecting him so I'm guessing it's not heartburn." Izzy said.
"Maybe this monster just has growing pains." Matt suggested.
"Get ready! Here I come!" Bellowed Meramon as he slides down the hill. Biyomon finally recovered from Meramon's attack and sees him going after the others. "Sora? We're in trouble now. Meramon can't be allowed to win. My friends need my help now." Biyomon said as Sora's Digivice started to go off and vibrate.
"Biyomon digivolve to … Birdramon!"
Miramar continued to slide down the hill towards the others until Birdramon pushes him back up.
"No!" Shouts Sora.
"Is that Biyomon?" Meiko asked.
"I am Birdramon. The Digivolved form of Biyomon. Light Meramon, my entire body is made of searing flames. With my amorous wings, I can easily soar the skies. Fighting is not my nature, if anyone dares hurt the people I care about, I will furiously counterattack. You should stay away from me when I attack with my Meteor Wing! It's scorcher."
Everyone watched as Birdramon fought Meramon, and Meramon shrinks back down to normal size and a black gear flies out and is destroyed.
"It was a black gear!" Izzy exclaimed, now understanding. "It made him crazy."
"I supposed if you had a big black gear inside you, you'd act a little crazy too." Matt said. "The poor guy."

Later, everyone is back in the village, and Meramon is sitting with his neighbors. "I'm sorry I attacked your village Yokomon." He apologized. "I couldn't help myself."
"That must've been awful for you. If you couldn't control yourself, who was controlling you?" A Yokomon asked.
"The last thing I remember is being hit by that gear. I had no idea what it was, but I'm glad it's gone. Also, I'm glad I didn't hurt any of you."
"Well, we're just happy to see you back to normal. I hope nothin.g like this happens again. You're needed to protect Mt. Mihirashi." Said a Yokomon. Meramon soon returns to Mt. Mihirashi and the Yokomon calls out their goodbyes.
"Hey, I just remembered you never got that dinner we promised." Biyomon said, still in Sora's arms. "You must be starving!"
"My tummy's ready for some action!" TK exclaimed.
The group soon sits down to bowls of some mysterious Yokomon dish. The Digidestined are confused as the Digimon happily eat.
"What is this?" Tai asked, poking the dish.
"Be polite and just eat it." Mimi told him. "A gracious guest never insults his hosts cooking."
Tai still didn't look convinced. "Hm. I can't tell if it's been cooked."
"She's right." Meiko agreed, then leaned to him say. "But I'm not sure this is fit for us humans."
"Eat as much as you want." Biyomon told Sora, who was looking at her own dish. "We have more then enough for seconds."
"Yeah, there's probably a good reason for that." Joe said, looking at his bowl.
Sora turns to him. "You know, that's exactly what I as afraid you were going to say."
"It smells better then broccoli." TK said, looking at his bowl. "Who knows? It might taste better."
"Has anyone noticed we talk a lot about food?" Matt asked, scooping up what he has and shoved it in his mouth.
"Well, all the Digimon food tastes better then the school's cafeteria and camp food." Meiko agreed, before starting to eat.
Tai watched her, then he dug in too.
"I'm gonna skip this one." Joe decides. "I'm not sure what it is, but I'm probably sure I'm allergic to it."
"Me too." Sora agrees. "I'll pass on this one too."
