Izzy's bed is flying down to an island on the same night Devimon rips File Island apart. Izzy clings to the bed. "Whoa! Tentomon I would say we're traveling at a very high speed plummeting toward an unidentified island. And uh, crash landing is imminent."
"Try to think of it as if we're hitting the beach." Tentomon suggested, just before the bed drops down. Crashing in side the forest.

On the second island Mimi and Palmon fly down on their own bed, screaming before crashing in a forest.
"Ooh, now that should be good for some frequent flyer miles." Mimi said, quickly getting dressed as the sun rises.
"Are you alright, Mimi?" Palmon asked as Mimi puts her hat back on.
"Oh no, humidity." Mimi complained, looking around.
"Yeah, some kind of tropical rain forest but not one I'm familiar with, it all happened so fast." Palmon looked around. "Where are we?"
"Have you any idea what humility does to my hair?" Mimi complained again.
"Hm?" Palmon looks up at her.
Mimi plucked a lock of her hair. "It goes all poodie, not a pretty sight."
"Uh, perhaps we oughta look around and see if we can find any of the others." Palmon suggested.
"Yeah, let's go. Maybe we can at least find some air conditioning or something." Mimi said as they start to walk into the forest.
"While we're at it, we could find the others." Palmon said, Mimi looked at her.
"You're right, Palmon."
On the other island. Izzy and Tentomon walk up to what looked like an ancient ruin.
"Well here we are, Izzy, hardly the light and breezy island style lodgings I was expecting to find." Tentomon said.
"Whoa." Izzy breathed in awe, fascinated by the building.
"Uh, yes very interesting, Izzy, but don't think we should keep searching for the others?" Tentomon asks. "I mean now really isn't the time." He trails off as Izzy walks towards the building.
"I know, but just look at this place, it's prodigious. I gotta check it out Tentomon, just for a minute." Izzy said before disappearing inside.
"Alright, just for a minute." Tentomon flew in behind him.
On Mimi's island. The girls see bananas. "Yum, bananas!" Mimi's face light ups as she was starting to get hungry.
"Banana?" Palmon asks.
Mimi turns to her. "Can you reach high enough?" She asks, pointing at the food.
"Mm hm." Palmon nods, she extends her vines, pulling the banana bunch and Mimi grabs the food.
"I was really starved." Mimi said as Palmon brings the rest down. "Now we can pretend we're having banana splits, huh Palmon?" Palmon smiles as Mimi peels the banana. "Huh? Hey what's the big idea!?" The banana was not inside.
"They certainly do look delicious." Palmon said as she takes one and bites it.
"I can't believe it! This place is seriously getting on my nerves!" Mimi yells. She squats down and a pink sludge falls down behind her. "Hm?" She turns to look over her shoulder. "Hm, is that hair mousse?" She backs away. "Yuck!"
"Ew!" Palmon agrees, as something makes a noise in the tree.
"Huh?" The girls look look at the tree to see a big yellow Digimon sitting there with a little pink mouse Digimon on his shoulder.
"Uh, duh goodbye, meet to nice you." The yellow Digimon spoke in a silly voice.
"He means hello, nice to meet cha." The pink mouse Digimon translated.
"Palmon, who's the talking dessert!?" Mimi asks.
"It's Sukamon and Chuumon, also known as the Digimon-losers."
"Hey, tanks!" Sukamon said, clearly not knowing what a insult is.
"Sukamon and his mouse buddy are always together because they share the same teeny, tiny brain." Palmon added.
Mimi screams before she and Palmon run away, Sukamon jumps from tree to tree throwing more Digimon-sludge at them.
"Wait!"
Mimi stops and turns. "Alright that's enough! Leave us alone!" Mimi yells as she and Palmon are annoyed at them now.
"Uh sure ok. But first you gotta pay a what do ya call it?" Sukamon asks.
"Pay a toll." Chuumon answered.
Mimi blinks. "Huh?"
"What do you mean a toll?" Palmon asks.
"Uh, does she think she can use our wood for free? She's gotta pay, like that uh purse there, for instance."
"I like the hat."
"No!" Mimi yells.
"Huh?" The two dumb Digimon ask in union.
"What part of no don't you understand, you whack a zoids?" Mimi questioned. "Now get out of here!"
"I think she insulted us."
"Bingo Einstein." Mimi said.
"She did?" Sukamon ask, feeling angered.
"Go ahead, let her have it." Chuumon told his friend.
Mimi opens her eyes to see they're throwing sludge at them again, she runs yelling.
"Do it again, do it again." Sukamon chanted.
Mimi stops at a tree. "Ugh, that is it. I give up, I wanna see the camp therapist."
Sukamon jumps on the tree branch and drops while holding onto the tree and grabs Mimi's bag strap where her Digivice is. "Ooh, pretty."
"Hm?" Mimi turns around, just as Sukamon grabs her bag strap where her Digivice is clipped. The Digivice shoots out a light and hits the two.
Sukamon and Chuumon glow, once the glow fades they slide down to the ground. "Whoa! I feel all tingly and refreshed like a whole new person!"
"Yeah, we're a whole new person." Chuumon corrected.
"Is this one as much of a pain as the last one?" Mimi asks, folding her arms.
"No really, we'll be nice from now on. Really."
Mimi looked hopeful. "So, you'll leave us alone?" She asked annoyed.
"Wait, first tell us if you've seen any other humans around here." Palmon said.
"Any wha?" Sukamon looked completely confused.
"Creatures that look like this one." Palmon said, pointing to Mimi.
"Well as a matter of fact."- Chuumon starts, perking Sukamon up.
"Oh yeah, I forgot!"
"Tell me!" Mimi yelled.
"Uh … well, it wasn't nearly as pretty as you are of course, but we saw something fall in the old ruins with a Tentomon." Sukamon said while blushing.
"So when were you planning on tell us, next week? They've must've seen Izzy too, Palmon." Mimi beams.
Palmon smiles up at Mimi, then turn to the two dumb Digimon. "Listen you two, can you take us there? It's important that we find him."
"Sure, ok dokey."
"No funny business!" Palmon instructed.
"Cross our heart." Sukamon does the motion.
"And hope to die." Chuumon added.
"Well of the absolutely ridiculous things to say." Palmon is unimpressed.
They make their way to the edge of the island and arrive to see another island floating along the ocean at same pace of speed on the other side.
"Right over … there." Sukamon said.
Mimi and Palmon see the other island. "Huh?" The girls ask. "Oh well that's great, just great." Mimi starts. "How are we suppose to get over there?" She asks.
"You're the one with the big hat, you think of something! A gorgeous girl like you must have a big brain." Chuumon replied.
"Thanks a lot, really." Mimi said sarcastically.
"Uh, before you go, maybe you can give us a big thank you kiss, huh." Sukamon said, disgusting Mimi.
"Uh, please tell me they're kidding!"
"Climb aboard! Quickly!" Palmon said, and Mimi wraps her arms around her Digimon. Who extends her vines the other side island and pulls them across.
"Maybe we jumped the gun." Sukamon pouts.
"Ugh, just the thought of that kiss is making me queasy." Mimi shuttered.
"That's ok! We'll wait until you come back!" Sukamon shouts.
"Don't hold your breath." Mimi said before she and Palmon stick out their tongues at them.
At the ruins. Izzy is currently taking everything in. "Ok, Izzy, I highly suggest putting an end to this architecture tour." Tentomon said.
"As I mentioned before, I'm gathering information. I'm sure this place is crawling with clues." Izzy said, he turns to his right to see a giant black gear and walks over to it with Tentomon close behind. "Look, it's one of Devimon's Black Gears."
"So it is."
"You know what I think? If we keep this gear from turning, we'll completely jam that creep up." Izzy said.
"Or even better, we could not do that." Tentomon suggests. "And then we can go look for the others like we should have done in the first place."
"Wait a minute. This is the same writing we saw the last time." Izzy said, scanning everything inside. "Remember?" He recognizes the symbols. "It made me realize that in DigiWorld, basic data is a bio substance. All that data is stored on my hard drive. If only there was a power source here."
"Get a power source, stop the gear. Is 'find our friends' on that list?" Tentomon asks.
Izzy's eyes scan the area. "Hmm, those lights are getting their power source from somewhere." He then sees something. "Hey, an outlet. Check it out!" With his laptop cord in hand, he runs up to plug it in, then heads back to his laptop. "It works!"
"Oh goodie." Tentomon said sarcastically.
"Now, let's see if I can decipher this." Izzy said as he starts to type away to try to crack the code.
After awhile. Mimi and Palmon walk into the ruins, turning to the right they see Izzy and Tentomon.
"It's them!" Mimi shouts, gaining Tentomon's attention.
"Mimi?"
"Tentomon! And Izzy too!" Mimi runs over to him and on impulse she hugs him from behind, making him blush.
"Hi Mimi."
"Finally a friendly face. Where's the rest of the gang?" The girl in pink asks.
"I have no idea." Izzy answered.
She frowns. "But uh, shouldn't we look for them or something? What are you doing anyway?"
"Right now, I'm trying to decipher these hieroglyphs."
"Well, can't that wait?" Mimi asks. "If you don't mind me asking."
"That's what I Keep telling him, let's go looking for the others I say. But does he listen? No." Tentomon said.
"Alright, get up Izzy." Mimi orders, but he don't listen.
"I'm sure the key to figuring everything out is in here. The question is. Does each glyph represent a letter, a word or a phrase." Izzy said, causing the others to lowers their heads. "Hmm, I'll have to cross reference the characteristics."
A few minutes later, Izzy is still typing on his laptop. Mimi, Palmon and Tentomon are sitting around the floor. "Izzy, any idea how long this is going to take?" Mimi asks, trying to get his attention. "I mean, can we go sometime before winter sets in? Izzy!"
"Izzy, your friend is asking you a question." Tentomon tells him.
"Yeah an her rear end is getting cold from sitting on this stone floor doing nothing!" Mimi complains.
"Oh wait, yeah! Wait! Yeah! That might work." Izzy is unaware that Mimi just stood up.
"Uh oh. Izzy!" Tentomon calls.
"Are you ignoring me, you computer geek pipsqueak?!" Mimi shouts.
"Ok, so if I make the variable constant and search for vial patterns … hey here's something." Izzy stared at his laptop as a map of the ruins appears on screen. "Prodigious, these ruins are a gigantic maze."
"I'm leaving right now!" Shouts Mimi, before she starts to cry.
"Oh, don't cry Mimi." Tentomon said gently, just before Palmon starts to cry. "Oh no, not you too. Izzy do something."
"Do what? My computer can't don't everything."
"I don't know, tell her you're sorry."
"Sorry? For what?"
"I can't take it anymore. I haven't had anything to eat and my feet are killing me and a giant lemon custard tried to kiss me and all I want to do is get out of here!" Whined Mimi.
"Mimi's trying to leave, is that so wrong?" Asks Palmon and runs over to Izzy. "Honestly Izzy, how can you be so insensitive?"
Izzy looks at her confused. "Insensitive? What do you mean?"
"You ignore us while you poke away at your computer." Palmon states.
"I'm. Not ignoring you. I'm doing something ultra important like maybe saving this world. If I can just decipher these hieroglyphs, then maybe we could."-
"Just keep your stupid hieroglyphs!" Shouts Mimi before running into the ruins.
"Mimi wait! Oh dear." Tentomon flies after her.
"You just like playing on your computer, that's all." Palmon tells Izzy.
"You think I'm just playing around here?" He asks.
"I almost think you like computers more then people." Palmon insisted before she starts to cry again.
Izzy then looks around, finding it's only the two of them. "Don't look now, but Mimi and Tentomon are gone."
Palmon stops crying. "Now what do we do?"
Mimi runs deeper into the temple. "I hate this place! I'll never recommend this resort to anyone!"
"Mimi! Mimi wait!" Tentomon shouts, and she trips on a root and face plants. "Oh dear, Mimi! Mimi, are you alright?"
She pushes herself to sit up. "I'm not a bad person. So why is this all happening to me?"
"Mimi, we have to be careful." Tentomon warns. "One wrong turn and we could get lost in here."
"All I want to do is get back home, that's all." Mimi said, before taking off again.
"Mimi, wait. I really think we need to find our way back!" Tentomon calls as he goes after her.
Back with Izzy and Palmon. Izzy is once again on his laptop. "I don't see them anywhere. Where could they have gone?" Palmon wondered.
"They didn't go deeper into the maze, did they?" Izzy wondered.
"That would be my guess." Palmon said.
Izzy looks back down at his laptop. "These deciphered hieroglyphs tell me the inside of those ruins is a giant Labyrinth, so if that's the case … they could be lost forever." He explains.
"Forever? Ohhh." Said a worried Palmon.
Back with Mimi. "Hey, uh Tentomon?"
"Yes?"
"You get the feeling that we're sort of going around in circles? See this smudge on the wall?" Mimi points to it. "I remember passing it a long time ago."
"Your right." Tentomon realized.
"Could it be that we're lost?"
"I realize that this is probably a bad time to say, 'I told you so' but." Tentomon trails off.
"Oh quiet." Mimi huffs.
Back with Izzy.
"Oh, I can't bare it!" Palmon decides. "I'm going in!"
"And get lost too? No Palmon, we have got to use our heads first." Izzy told her.
"But we can't just leave them."
"We won't, but this is one simply complicated maze. I've got to try and get a handle on it, then maybe I can help them get out."
With Mimi. Mimi and Tentomon continue to walk through the maze. "Well, being lost isn't so bad." Tentomon said, trying to lightened up their mood. Until debris fall onto Mimi.
"Great."
"Oh dear, are you hurt?" Tentomon asks.
"No, I'm fine. I'm getting use to it by now. If I had just gone to cheerleading camp, none of this would have happened."
"Let's try a systematic approach to this." Suggests Tentomon. "Maybe if we just keep turning to the left, or something like that."
"Why should I listen to you? It's Izzy that got me into this mess in the first place." Mimi hissed, grabbing Tentomon's attention.
"Wait, don't be too hard on him. Yes, he gets a little wrapped up in his work and doesn't always interact as well with the others, but he's a good boy."
Back with Izzy. "There they are." Izzy said as a flashing dot appear on his laptop.
"That's Mimi? The blinking light?" Palmon asks.
"Precisely." Izzy said as he clicks on the moving dot.
"No, no, not that way." Tentomon is heard saying.
"Oh, buzz off, leave me alone." Mimi's voice is next.
"That's my girl." Palmon said.
"I've homed in on the signal from her Digivice." Izzy said as he pulls out an ear piece with a microphone and places it on his ear. "We can hear her, let's hope she can hear us. Izzy to Mimi, do you read me? Repeat, do you read me?"
"Izzy, is that you?"
Izzy and Palmon smile. "Alright, it's working!" Izzy cheers. "Ok, Mimi, I'm gonna navigate for you so walk exactly where I tell you to."
"Don't worry, it'll work." Palmon assured. "He knows what he's doing."
"Is that you Palmon?" Tentomon asks.
"Just do what Izzy tells you and you'll be out of there before you know it!" Palmon said.
"See, I told you Izzy is a good boy."
"Ok, take the first doorway on the right. When you get to the end, turn left but be careful of the next room because there's a big hole in the middle of the floor." Izzy instructed. He and Palmon watch as Mimi followed the instructions.
"Izzy, did we have to take the scenic route?" Mimi asks.
Suddenly another flashing dot appears on Izzy's laptop screen. "Uh oh."
"What do you mean 'uh oh'?" Palmon asks.
"Ok, I'm ready, so which way should we go?" Mimi asks, but no reply.
"I was hoping that it was just a glitch but there's something definitely in there and its moving closer." Izzy told Palmon.
"Now, I'm starting to worry." Palmon said.
Back in the maze. Mimi and Tentomon are waiting to hear from Izzy. "Izzy, what's with the silent treatment?" Mimi asks before she and Tentomon hear evil laughter coming from somewhere.
"Did you hear that? It sounded evil." Tentomon said with worry.
"Tentomon, it's been such a long time." A voice spoke behind them.
"Oh no!" Tentomon cried. Behind them is a centaur, who leaps over the hole from the previous room. "Centarumon … half man, half horse. You really don't want to get on either side of his bad sides." He said. "Run, Mimi, run!"
"I like a good chase." Centarumon said as Mimi and Tentomon rushed off.
"Left, take a left." Izzy tells them, and they do.
"Izzy, we are quite anxiously awaiting your directions. Are you there?" Tentomon asks.
"Another left, through the doorway!" Izzy answers.
Mimi and Tentomon soon come up to a dead end. "Great job, Izzy! It's a dead end!" Shouts Mimi.
"Where do we go now Izzy?" Tentomon asks, only to receive silence. "We seem to have lost contact with him."
"Oh really?" Centarumon asks, coming into view.
"He's back!" Tentomon cried.
"Solar Ray! Fire!" Shouts Centarumon, a cannon appears out of his right hand and shoots at Mimi, but Tentomon pushes her to the ground.
"I ripped my skirt." Mimi complains.
"Don't look at the now. Get out of the way!" Tentomon tells her as Centarumon enters the room.
"Your bravery is noted but that alone will not gain you mercy." Centarumon said.
Mimi turns to Tentomon. "What are you waiting for? Make yourself bigger."
"If you mean you want me to Digivolve, I'm afraid that's impossible."
"What do you mean 'impossible'?"
"I'll tell you what it means. He cannot protect you." Centarumon said. "So you have to hold your ground and that's truly impossible."
Mimi turns back to Tentomon. "Stop talking and start growing!"
"Oh how I'd like to but if I'm separated from Izzy, I can't." Tentomon tells Mimi, who started to shake.
"Stop that! Can't you see I'm in the middle of a saying something?" Mimmi demanded, thinking it was Centarumon who was making the room shake. "What's that racket?"
Suddenly the wall behind Mimi and Tentomon gives way to reveal Izzy and Palmon, Izzy holding a large rock between his hands.
"IZZY!" Mimi beams.
"Get out of there!" He tells her.
"You don't have to tell me twice!" She starts to climb, but Centarumon aims his cannon at her.
"Watch out, Mimi! Palmon Digivolve to … Togemon! Leave my friends alone!" Togemon shouts.
"Mimi, get back!" Izzy yells.
"Leave this to me. Tentomon Digivolve to … Kabuterimon!"
Mimi's suddenly squished against the wall by him. "Oh, I forgot. When you get bigger, you get a lot bigger, don't you? Watch where you step."
"Oh, uh sorry." Kabuterimon apologized, at the same time Izzy has trouble with Togemon's needles. Centarumon then releases his attack, blasting the four of them outside.
"That's one way to get out of there." Mimi comments.
"Yeah, but this is no time to be taking it easy." Izzy told her as Centarumon comes out of temple.
"Yeah, I see him." Mimi said.
"Leave them alone!" Kabuterimon shouts. "Electro Shocker!" He sends his attack at Centarumon.
"I think it's time for some Needle Spray!" Shouts Togemon. With the combine attack, hits Centarumon and a Black Gear comes out and is destroyed.
"That felt interesting." Centarumon said, falling to the ground.
"One of those Black Gears fell out of his body." Izzy said.
"Where am I?" Centarumon asks.
"Are you a good Digimon now?" Mimi asks him.
"What?" Centarumon said as he looked over to Mimi, then sees her Digivice. "That device on your bag." He starts.
"This?" She asks, showing him her Digivice.
"I've seen it before." Centarumon said.
Soon. They were all in the temple and Centarumon shows them a symbol of the Digivice.
"It is the mystical symbol of the digivice." Centarumon began to explain. "These ruins are its temple and I am its guardian."
"Well, that certainly looks familiar." Izzy replied.
"The Digivolve is a preserver of the light." Centarumon explained. "The last of defense against the darkness that threatens all of existence."
"Really?" Izzy asks.
"I didn't get that but I'm starting to think they're more then just a cool accessory." Mimi comments.
"Leomon, what are you doing here?" Centarumon asks, looking behind Mimi.
"To destroy them. The children. I warn you, Centarumon, do not interfere with me." Leomon jumps over to them.
"No Leomon!" Shouts Centarumon as Leomon is about to hit Mimi.
"I can't look, it's too scary! Well, maybe a peek." Mimi says as Centarumon blocks Leomon's punch.
Izzy soon realizes something. "Wow! Time's standing still here!"
"I said no, Leomon. The children posses the Digivice. As the guardian of this temple, I must protect them as well!"
The two Digimon fight it out. "The children must be destroyed." Leomon said.
"You must mean some other children." Mimi said, holding up her bag with her Digivice clipped to it, causing Leomon to stop in his tracks.
"Your Digivice … it stopped him in his tracks." Izzy said, then holds up his and it started to glow with Mimi's.
"Bad kitty! Out! Go on, out!" Orders Mimi and Leomon runs away in fear. "Well that got rid of him. These things are really kind of amazing."
"A preserver of light against the darkness." Izzy said, looking at his Digivice.
"Can you order a pizza with it?" Mimi asks. "I'm still starving."
Much later. They're back in the main room of the ruins. "Centarumon, maybe with your help, we could stop this Black Gear." Izzy said, pointing to the large gear.
"No, I'm afraid I have neither the strength nor knowledge to oppose Devimon or the powers of darkness." Centarumon said.
"Are you still going on about this?" Mimi asks. "When can we get something to eat?"
"Guess I'll have to keep deciphering and analyzing these two sets of hieroglyphs. I'm sure all the answers are in here somewhere." Izzy goes back to his laptop.
"Excuse me, but isn't this where I came in?" Demanded Mimi. "You're seriously not starting all that again, not right now!"
"Just a nano."
Mimi walks up to the giant black gear. "This black gear. Who cares about that old dumb thing? All I want is lunch!" She kicks the black gear, causing it to stop and start turning the other way, making the island go back towards Infinity Mountain.
"Look the process has reversed itself." Izzy said as they walk over to the edge of the island.
"Amazing." Palmon said.
"Excellent work, Mimi." Izzy praised. "It just goes to show that the simplest solution is actually the best."
"That's not much of a compliment."
"Hiya! I knew you couldn't keep away." Sukamon said as he and Chuumon wave at Mimi. Both Mimi and Palmon look at the two in disgust.
"So are we gonna on a date of what?" Asks Sukamun. "Come on, what's your phone number?"
"Man, he's persistent." Palmon said.
"Blow us a kiss!" Sukamon insist
Mimi thinks. "Ok." She kisses Izzy's cheek, making him blush.
