I'm frustrated, readers.

I'm frustrated because for some time now, I've had time to write but no inspiration. And now that TotK was released, I don't think I've ever been more inspired to work on this fic than I am now—but I'm currently moving, and I have a family vacation right after I finish moving. And my family would not appreciate it if I spent more than zero minutes writing for you all while on vacation with them.

So, as a result, THoL is on hiatus for the time being. I'll write what I can here and there, but I won't be able to really throw myself into it until June.

In the meantime, enjoy this short chapter. I might be able to get one more out after this one, but probably not more than that.

After a somewhat difficult practice flight, Leonie landed on the Flight Range's platform.

"Not bad...but not good enough," Teba noted. "While you were mostly able to navigate the air currents, there were several moments where you slipped up, so to speak. You did a good job compensating, but against Medoh there will be very little room for error."

"I can get better," Leonie said.

"Yes, you can, but not quickly enough," Teba said. "Link, Petra, Ingrid, Claude, Marianne, and Cyril will be the ones to board Medoh."

Under ordinary circumstances, this could have been a problem. While the Ancient weapons they had on hand would be far from ineffective against the Blight Ganons, they weren't as effective as they could have been.

However, Robbie had provided Link with a weapon that could well be able to put an end to the Blight Ganon inside Vah Medoh. Annette and Linhardt had brought two Ancient Tech arrows that Robbie had guaranteed would serve as the ultimate weapons they needed. However, the process of making them had apparently destroyed the Ancient Oven. It wasn't completely beyond repair, but for the time being, the two Ancient Arrows would be the only ones forthcoming. The Company would have to make them count.

Ashe ran into the Range. "Medoh passed the critical threshold."

Teba had marked a point on the map, saying that once Medoh passed it, they would need to face the Divine Beast within the hour or risk the battle damaging Rito Village. Evidently, Medoh had passed that point.

"Then let's go. Linhardt, Annette, help bring us over to the Village," Link ordered. Conveniently, there had been a Shrine within Rito Village. Teba had hoped it would be a weapon vault like the ones within the Zora and Goron capitals had been, but it was not. Still, it made for a convenient fast travel point.

Once the team meant to take on Medoh reached Rito Village, Claude turned to Linhardt and Annette. "Bring the others over, and keep your eyes open. I think Astor is going to try something while we're busy with Medoh."

"We'll keep watch," Annette agreed, and Linhardt nodded.

With that, the team started climbing the village's stairs.

Once they reached the landing platform, Ingrid looked out towards the Divine Beast. "I don't think we can glide to Medoh from here."

"No, you would not be able to," Teba agreed. "However, I do have a way to get you all to it. An...inheritance, from Revali. I don't mention it much, but he was a distant relative of mine."

"Yunobo of the Gorons had something similar," Marianne noted. "A power passed down to him from Daruk."

"So I don't need to explain," Teba said. "I admit I'm not as good with it as I could be. Tulin is better at using this power than I am. But I can get you to Vah Medoh. Follow behind me. Not directly behind me, though. In an arrowhead formation, like geese."

With that, Teba jumped from the landing platform. Opening their gliders, the other six followed.
