Chapter 3: The Moronic B Movie Watcher!
The moon was high in the sky as down below in a Canadian Cul-de-sac in the suburban town of Peach Creek, the residents in the houses occupying them were getting ready for the next day in the morning. So most of them were either getting ready to enter the world of dreams or were already in that unconscious state of mind.
For Ed, his little sister Sarah, and their parents, they were about to go to sleep.
Well, just Ed and Sarah were about to go to sleep as their parents were already fast asleep.
Speaking of the tall, moronic, one straight lined eyebrow, and incredibly strong and loyal Ed boy and his sister...
"Yeah, run for your lives or he will get your soul." The dunce Ed boy cheered quietly as he stared at his TV screen, which was currently playing a horror movie about a shape-shifting monster who kills people and steals their souls to become stronger.
"No, stay and stop that monster." Sarah quietly disagreed as she sat next to him on couch they were sitting on.
Over the course of the last 5 years since the Eds' last scam that took the brother and sister and everyone else from the comforts of Peach Creek all the way to the girl's resident selfish jerk turned now abrasive, no nonsense taking, pal, Eddy's older brother's house, the bratty girl (as well as the other Cul-de-sac kids) had become a lot kinder and accepting of him and the other Eds since that fateful day that changed everything as they discovered why Eddy became who he is now.
Speaking of the past 5 years, one of the biggest changes and to the shock and surprise of everyone, Ed decided to give May, (one of the three Kanker sisters and one of the biggest thorns in the Eds' side since they've met when that stumbled into the forest near their trailer park) and go on a date with her...
It went about as well as a date between two idiots would expect... with lots of destruction and really, really, incompetent decisions from both of them.
Despite that however, Ed and May really enjoyed each other's company and the Ed boy even gave her a kiss for a change, much to the Kanker sister's joy.
From that day, the two were dating and were enjoying every second of being together.
Getting back to the present, the moron and his keeper (that's what Sarah decides to be to her big brother to help him with manners and things like that) it wasn't just them as their pal (and resident wuss who Sarah was helping to grow a spine without turning him into another Eddy with their friend Double D's help) Jimmy was sitting the couch as well.
"It feels so real that I'm shaking in my boots." Jimmy stated as he was literally shaking. "What if those monsters are real you guys?"
Sarah embraced the boy to calm his nerves. "Don't worry Jimmy, there's nothing for you to worry about. If those monsters are actually real, I would protect you."
"Really?" The nervous boy asked as he looked into his friend's eyes.
"Of course she would Jimmy, as would I." Ed cut in. "We're the most loyal people you know."
Hearing this from his friends made the teen calm his nerves by 30%. "Yeah, you are right. Thanks."
"And I would protect both of you as well as everyone else in Peach Creek." Ed explained. "And besides, if they were real. They would have to face the might of..." Ed began say but Sarah covered his mouth before he could continue.
"Ed, before you do what I think you're going to do. Be sure to keep your voice down, you might wake our parents up." Sarah stated in a calm tone.
Ed nodded as he jumped behind the couch and giggled a bit as he jumped back from behind the couch in a totally different costume.
It was some sort of viking costume that has a football cut in half with horns glued to it for a helmet, a fake red beard, a potato sack for a viking uniform, and a spatula.
"Of Lothar," Ed whispered. "Masher of monsters, slayer of the undead, destroyer of evil and protector of Montozuma."
The two teens were trying to suppress their giggles at the absurdity of Sarah's brother that he was currently displaying for them. Seeing Ed declare that he would protect him and Sarah and everyone else did help put his mind at ease.
"Well as long as your here to protect us O mighty Lothar." Jimmy joked as he bowed and Sarah slowly clapped for him. "Peach Creek and its people will be safe with you on the front lines."
"Aw shucks." The one eyebrowed Ed boy said flustered. "Such praise is not necessary yet I'll appreciate it nonetheless." Ed said as he let out a yawn. "Well, Lothar is exhausted. Goodnight, you two." Ed then began to walk down to the basement as it was still his room.
"Night, big brother." Sarah said as she waved to her brother.
"Sweet dreams Ed." Jimmy said, also waving to him as Ed soon closed the door that led to the basement.
With her brother now going to dream land, Sarah then look towards the forth wall and simply said with a deadpan expression.
"Who's writing this story? I mean for the love of God author, do your research. It makes you come off as incompetent if you don't do it correctly."
"Well to be fair Sarah, our show has ended with that "Big Picture Show" so our futures are in the realm of possibility now. Can you really blame the guy?" Jimmy chimed in. "You shouldn't blame someone who's just trying to be creative with Antonucci's work now that our time in the spotlight has passed."
"Good point." Sarah said back to her friend.
"Who knows maybe as this story arc progresses, some actual research will be thrown into the mix." Jimmy said.
"Only time will tell I guess." Sarah said.
The only noise in the room was the sound of the movie still being played.
Meanwhile down in the basement, Ed, (still in his Lothar costume from before) instantly fell asleep on his messed up bed, sleeping like a lump on a log as he enter the world of dreams like any tired person would.
Unbeknownst to him, his sister, his girlfriend, his friends, or anyone else that he knew in Peach Creek, this night would be one that would change his life forever...
For better or for worst...
The fourth member of this story's group of heroes has been introduced.
