Chapter 8: The Dream World: Part 3!

Lincoln's Dream...

A magical, pink portal manifested across the empty street in front of a certain Loud house as Lion and his passengers consisting of Steven, Annie, Hilda, Ed and Pony jumped out of it.

Once they were out, Lion immediately collapsed onto his legs from exhaustion, causing everyone to fall off of him.

Or in Pony's case, fall right out of his mane.

Annie, rubbing her arm to ease the pain of the fall, glared at Lion in annoyance. "Hey, what the big idea?"

"I think he's exhausted Annie." Pony defended his fellow magical animal from his best friend.

"Great, just what we need." Hilda said as slammed a hand against her face. "Our only mode of transportation exhausted."

"Hey, get off his back, will ya?" Steven said as he stepped in front off his pink magical pet from the two's criticism. "He's not used to teleporting this many people at once and especially not multiple times. Just because he has magic doesn't mean its unlimited. And with all the fights he had to be in tonight, I'm surprised that he took this long to collapse." He chided the two girls gently.

"Yeah, you're right Steven." Hilda said as she looked towards Lion with an apologetic look.

"Sorry Lion." Annie said she petted Lion's mane, causing him to let out a purr in response.

"Cheer up you two." Pony said rapping his two hooves around the two women. "Not all is lost in the transport department."

"What do you mean?" Hilda asked, confused at the talking animal's logic.

Instead of responding, Pony grabbed onto Hilda's shoulder with his teeth and flung her onto his back.

Annie immediately understood so did the others.

"I get it." Ed said as he walked towards Pony and climbed onto his back.

Hilda re-positioned herself and straightened her beret. "Okay, I understand now. A little warning next time okay Pony?"

"I'll try to remember that." Pony said to the blue haired girl.

"On Pony, everyone." Steven ordered as he got on the talking mule before he then looked at the exhausted Lion. "You get some rest buddy, we'll be back for you

Once everyone was on, Pony spoke.

"I may not be as strong, as fast or have magical portal powers like Lion, but I'm just as good as transport as him! I'll show you guys for sure."

"We should start by checking that house right in front of us." Annie said pointing to the Loud House.

"You got it, hang on everyone." Pony said as he ran up to the house, carrying the new friends he has made because of this adventure they are currently on.

However, as they were seconds away from entering the house, the door suddenly flew opened as someone was sent flying through it, hitting Pony and knocking him as well as the people riding him to the ground.

"Oh, come on!" Pony complained as he struggled to get back on his hooves.

"What hit us?" Annie said, grabbing her face and rubbing it to ease the pain.

"I think it's more like who hit us?" Steven said before he pointed at the assailant who crashed into them. "Look."

The group looked and saw a certain white haired teenager who was currently rubbing his head, trying to dull the pain currently ringing in the back of his head. He had freckles on his cheeks and chipped tooth. He also had an orange jacket and blue jeans.

He then turned around to face the group.

"Oh my god, did I slam into all of you. I'm so sorry." He said as he scrambled to his feet.

He helped Steven up first as Annie helped her pony up, Ed sat up and cracked his neck back into place.

As Lincoln took Hilda's hand, the two looked into each other's eyes and their eyes widen in surprise as their bodies froze and the two suddenly lost their ability to speak. For Hilda, she never saw a much more cute and handsome face, although it was look a bit stand offish due to the latter's white hair, which look rather confusing to her but she'll worry about that later. For Lincoln, he could not look away from the blue haired adventurer. In his eyes, the teenage girl looked breathtakingly beautiful. The boy hoped that he wasn't dreaming her up.

The two of them continued to look at each other until Annie, having realized what was happening, snapped her fingers in front of their faces, which caused them to come back to reality.

"O-Oh!" Lincoln said embarrassed that he was too busy looking into Hilda's eyes that he forgot about the rest of the group that he slammed into. "S-Sorry about that. I supposed I introduce myself, my name is Lincoln. It's nice to meet you all."

"I am Ed." The one eyebrow moron introduced himself with a big cheek to cheek smile while vigorously shaking his hand before letting go.

Annie grabbed onto Lincoln's shaking hand to stop it as she introduced herself next. "I'm Annie." She said before pulling Pony into a side hug. "And this is Pony."

"Hi there." Pony greeted the boy.

"I'm Steven." Steven introduced himself as he held out his hand to Lincoln, which Lincoln took and shook gently.

"And I'm H-Hilda." Hilda introduced herself nervously as she and Lincoln shook hands, all while the two were blushing a bit.

"Wait a minute..." Lincoln took out a sheet of paper from inside his jacket and inspects it before looking back at the five.

He repeated this process a few more times before he let out a squeal of excitement before instantly wrapping the five in a very tight hug, much to their surprise.

"It's you guys! You're the ones I drew before I went to sleep!" Lincoln revealed as tears of joy streamed down his face.

Though Steven, Hilda, Pony, Ed and Annie were a bit confused at the fact that Lincoln actually drew them in a drawing, they embraced him back regardless.

After a few seconds, Lincoln let go of them and backed away.

Just then, a series of screeching sounds emerged behind Lincoln, causing him and the group to turn around and see what it was.

To their surprise, it another batch of the same ghosts that they've been finding all over the place tonight.

"Oh right, I can't believe I nearly forgot about them." Lincoln said as he used his dream capabilities to summon two blasters in his hands.

At that cue, the rest of the group summon their dream weapons as well (with the exception of Steven who's weapon was real) and with a collective battle cry, charged into the spectral wave...
