"Hmm…" Kajun mummered as she carefully examined the alternate Grandpa Max with Blukic and Driba, the group over at HQ with their Grandpa Max standing beside them, "A fully robotic limb with transformative properties? Interesting."
"I got it from one of my many battles against Alien X," the alternate Grandpa Max stated with a frown, "Got it after I barely managed to save one universe's Ben…despite losing his Omnitrix."
"He's like a hardcore battle-hardened version of Grandpa Max," Kevin noted.
"I've scanned him multiple times..." Kajun spoke.
"Me too…" Gwen spoke, her eyes glowing, "He's different from ours…but he really is Grandpa Max."
"But…not our Grandpa." Ben spoke up, "You're a Grandpa Max from…another dimension…one of our dimensions…"
"Correct...and you can call me Maximilian to make things easier," the other Grandpa Max stated.
"Maximilian…not Maxwell?" Ben blinked.
"Our Grandpa's full name is Maxwell Tennyson." Gwen explained.
"Well technically it's still Max," he shrugged, "I doubt every Gwen in the multiverse has that odd pickiness with their full name…"
"I…" Gwen began before she noticed Kevin raising a brow…with Ben and Makoto adding to it, "...mmm~"
"Oh this is another one that prefers Gwendolyn, isn't it?" Maximilian sighed.
"She's gotten better since we took in Luna and Sena," Kevin admitted.
"And with kids?" Maximilian blinked a bit, "Hmm…not so different."
"They are not our kids, they…look they…are kids our Grandpa Max took in and we are looking after…" Gwen sighed.
"Yeah I mean…wh-why would you just assume we…" Kevin muttered sheepishly.
"I didn't…you made that assumption yourself," Maximilian retorted.
"Pfft-hahahaha…he's definitely Grandpa Max." Ben chuckled at their reaction, "He still takes Kevin into the other room to have 'the talk' with him every visit, just to enjoy his look of horror!"
"I knew it!" Kevin declared.
"I think we're getting off track here," Grandpa Max spoke as he approached his other self, "You said you were hunting Alien X, correct?"
"I did…been chasing him around the multiverse in his quest to gather as many copies of the Omnitrix as possible," Maximilian responded.
"Wait…why did one of my aliens…know what? Stupid question. Not even the first time it's happened…" Ben sighed, "But…why Alien X? He can't do anything…"
"Except this one clearly can…" Makoto pointed out.
"Yeah…but…I mean how did he get his Belicus and Serena to agree to all this?" Ben asked.
"Wait, you know how Celestialsapiens work?" Maximilian asked.
"Yeah, I've only been able to make it work two times…three kinda…but I don't count letting me change back as making it work." Ben sighed, "All Ben's should have an Alien X form…but…it's pretty much useless…unless that Alien X broke free…or if it even is a normal Alien X…"
"Some Ben's I encountered when he was after them dubbed him as Alien X-tinction," Maximilian explained before frowning, "And you're right to an extent…this one has no mercy. When they steal a Ben's Omnitrix…they either leave them scarred physically or mentally…or…" he paused as his fist clenched up.
"...dead," Jin realized.
"Many Bens ended up losing one of the people they loved…or died protecting someone," Maximillian sighed, "And I failed them….like my Benjamin…"
"Your Benjamin?" Noel repeated.
"You saw all those Omnitrixes? The one on the left shoulder," Maximilian explained, "He was your Ben's age."
"...oh no…" Noel whispered, holding her hands over her mouth in realization.
"Trust me…we all tried to stop him," Maximilian sighed, "Me, Gwen, Kevin, Rook…Kai….none of us could convince him to not fight X-Tinction…we tried to assist him best we could but…" he looked at his robotic arm, "...he bested us…reduced the others to ash…and when my Ben tried to stop him…he overpowered him…"
"...and since then, you've been hunting him down," Tsubaki surmised, "Trying to stop him from taking another Ben's life."
"At times I succeeded…but at the cost of someone those Ben's loved for a few," Maximilian sighed.
"But something was different…" Ben pointed out, "He was spooked…by Skurd."
"Thank you very much." he bowed.
"Wait…Skurd?" Maximilian pondered, "You still have him? Huh…"
"...wait. How X-tinction reacted when Skurd propelled him back…" Tsubaki began as it began to dawn on her, "...the other versions of our Ben didn't have Skurd anymore did they? Or hadn't met him yet?"
"Correct…which probably took him by surprise," Maximilian noted, "...and since he's still connected to the Omnitrix, he can't steal it without going through Skurd."
"Skurd…you're like an Omnitrix Defense system." Ben smiled.
"Well of course, this is symbiosis…but then again I doubt you even know the word…let alone passed biology with more than a D…" Skurd taunted.
"Hey…B minus," Ben corrected.
"Come to think of it…you're all pretty much new to me as well," Maximilian noted, looking at the others.
"Blame Makoto going through a Cauldron and then the Annihilargh going off with Makoto smacking Alien X repeatedly on the chest," Ben replied before looking at Makoto, "...I told you about Bellicus threatening to turn you into a normal squirrel if you did it again, right?"
"I think I was more focused on you managing to save us from being erased," Makoto replied before smiling at Maximilian, "Makoto Nanaya, sir. My Ben's girlfriend."
"Huh…First time a Ben was dating someone that wasn't a Julie or Kai," Maximilian noted.
"How have you been able to follow after X-tinction?" Grandpa Max asked.
"...honestly? With how long I've been chasing him…I lost count," Maximilian sighed, "As for how…" he muttered, "The first time I just…drove the Rustbucket into the flash of light…I found myself lost…occasionally I'd land in another dimension…but eventually it seems X-Tinction finally hit something…he didn't want to mess with. After that a rather rude fellow appeared in the Rustbucket with me, ate my food, called me stupid, then threw a boot at my head when I felt depressed." he rubbed the back of his head, "Left me with a device I stuck onto the Rustbucket that he claims came from Azmuth…next thing I know it has an AI, and can travel through dimensions." he frowned, "And then the guy leaves a bad photo of me in a picture frame."
"Tsukasa," Ben, Makoto, Noel, and Mai groaned.
"He must have sensed X-Tinction as well," Rook guessed.
"He was nice," Lambda smiled.
"Well he sure was an odd fella…" Maximilian sighed, "But helpful…and didn't mince words. Now I'm back to hunting him…but how I don't know."
"It sounds like…he's only going to worlds with normal versions of Ben." Makoto noted.
"You claim you never saw versions of us." Noel added.
"He must be sticking close to the root of all my alternate dimensions?" Ben asked.
"Root?"
"Paradox has this whole explanation with a holographic tree and stuff…the wider multiverse is like a forest…and branches get tangled…and that's what our world is." Ben rambled, "Not important. He must only go to dimensions where Ben has a Final Model Omnitrix…or the Prototype," he held his up, "I bet he's never even bothered to go to a world where I must still have the Ultimatrix."
"Well you did say it was really glitchy," Kajun recalled.
"Do you know when X-Tinction will strike again?" Tsubaki asked Maximillion.
"Probably any time now," he frowned as he got up, "He won't stop until he gets his hands on an Omnitrix."
"Great…and us without an Albedo to sacrifice…" Ben sighed.
"That's not funny Ben." both Grandfathers sighed.
"Kidding…kidding…" Ben chuckled, "Yeesh…Grandpa in stereo…"
"So…how do we stop it? Alien X vs Alien X-Tinction?" Makoto asked.
"Yeah right…I doubt that would work…I only got them to agree last time cause you helped me annoy them into it." Ben sighed, "If I tried anything it would be using Skurd to get Alien X powers on some of my stronger Aliens…"
"Meaning Alien X will be our back-up plan if anything else fails…" Tsubaki sighed.
"And nothing phases Alien X," Kevin added.
"Yeah…except you guys wouldn't get that protection," Ben pointed out, "Meaning…everyone is in danger."
"So we will need to be extra careful here," Rook added.
"But…what I don't get is…why doesn't he just snap his finger and poof the Omnitrix off?" Gwen asked, "Ben, I've seen Alien X reverse the flow of time in one single area. Why can't he just…will the Omnitrix off you?"
"Unless…he's not as in control as he thinks he is?" Ben asked.
"Hmm?" Maximilian raised a brow at that.
"If he was in total control, he wouldn't need to attack anyone. He could just enter a dimension and will the Omnitrix into his possession…but instead he attacks? And in such a blunt way." Ben spoke, "I don't think he has full control of his powers…or at least he's fighting the other personas."
"...he maybe onto something," Kajun pondered.
"Hey yeah…I mean from what Ben told me, one voice is the voice of love and reason...the other is of anger and battle basically," Makoto recalled, "...what if…one side is stronger than the other in this case?"
"...you mean the anger side, right?" Jin asked.
"Bellicus," Ben noted, "Guy constantly wants the extinction event of the dinosaurs to not have happened."
"Wait…seriously?" Kevin blinked, "...that's weird."
"Right?!"
"Focus," Gwen and Tsubaki sighed.
"But…that might be something to ponder about," Gwen admitted, "Bellicus must b-" the area began to rumble, making everyone tense up.
"He's here," Maximilian scowled.
"Right," Max frowned, "Tsubaki."
"Yes sir. Kajun, call Max and Sari," Tsubaki ordered as she unsheathed Excalibur, "Jin, you're on the front line with them."
"So now we fight a Demi-god…joy…" Jin sighed.
"Gwen, Kevin, see if you can give them some assistance," Tsubaki continued, "Mai, Noel, Lambda, Makoto? We're the second line of defense. If he gets past us…" she paused as she looked back at Ben, Grandpa Max and Maximillion, "You'll be our last line of defense."
"D'uh…Kajun, call Azmuth! He uses Omnitx's to power himself…Azmuth has a plan for everything…probably even something to shut them off!" Ben called out.
"I'll try my best, Ben," Kajun replied as she ran off, "..hopefully…"
"Ahh…Primus what a boring night…" Sari yawned a bit as she and Max were walking towards HQ.
=I'll say! Only one ticket and no arrests!= Steel agreed =And the ticket was to Argit…=
"Well at least our shift's over. Hopefully I can get an hour in on that Ratchet and Clank game on the PS5 before hitting the hay," Max chuckled, "Man, I love that RYNO."
"At least this was my last night patrol because of me visiting home next week," Sari noted.
=Try not to bring back more Cybertronian gadgets for Kajun to get obsessed with please…last time she spent three days in the lab till she made that device work= Steel sighed =Now she's working on improving on that old robot attack drone project…=
"Well...I'm sure sh-" Max began before stopping, "..."
"Max?" Sari blinked as she stopped.
"...Steel, you feel that right?"
=...yeah…= Steel replied as his eye narrowed =I do…=
"...oh no," Sari realized before she pulled her badge out, "Guys, I th-"
=Sari, you, Max, and Jin are needed at front of HQ immediately= Kajun stated =There's an Alien X that goes by X-Tinction…=
=That's gonna be a mouthful fast, so let's call him Evil X!= Makoto shouted in the background.
=...Right. Evil X that's trying to take Ben's Omnitrix= Kajun replied.
"...Well can't say we'll be bored after this." Max sighed as his helmet formed.
"Agreed," Sari sighed as she pulled her sword and shield out, her helmet forming over her head as teh two rushed ahead.
One Plumber Agent screamed as he flew over them, making them stop..and saw the Evil Alien X tossing and pushing away some Plumber Agents like they were nothing.
"Enough!" Evil X shouted as he unleashed a force field that sent more Plumber Agents flying, "Nothing will stop me from obtaining what I want…"
"Hey sparkles!" Max shouted as he jumped and kicked Evil X a pulse of Turbo energy sending him slamming into a wall, "How about we talk about this like civilized people…"
Evil X groaned before flinching as the multiple Omnitrix badges began sparking and flashing. He waved his hands as it stopped…only to be taken by surprise by another kick to his face.
"You look mighty worried about all those…Omnitrix badges…?" Max blinked, "Wha…what are you?"
Evil X said nothing as he held his arm out and pushed Max up against a wall. Max grunted before he pulled Steel off his chest and let him fire his optic beam at Evil X, nailing the antagonistic Celestialsapien right in the face. Evil X shook it off real quick before he threw his hand out at Max, only to grunt when a bolt of green lightning zapped him.
"Sorry…he's not the only one fighting ya!" Sari shouted as she threw her shield, hitting Evil X in the face before she ran up and kicked him, grabbing her shield as she bounced off him, "Max!"
"Go Turbo Strength!" he shouted as his giant arm hit Evil X and slammed him into the ground.
Evil X slowly rose up only to be slammed down deeper by another punch. Followed by another, and so on as each strike kept him pinned down. The Turbo energy surges coming off Max made all the Omnitrix Badges go haywire. Blue and green energy sparking around and making Evil X flinch even more. Evil X grunted trying to push himself up as the punches stopped, only to be zapped again. He looked ahead only for Sari to kick him and send him flying into Max's giant arms as he grabbed him in a crushing bearhug.
"Okay sparkles…how about you explain what's with all those Omnitrix things on you! Where'd you get em!?" Max demanded.
"Wha…what are you!?" Evil X demanded as the Omnitrix badges continued flashing, as if wanting to time out, "What are you doing!?"
"TURBO Energy…doesn't mesh well with an Omnitrix unless it has an upgrade." Max grunted, tightening his hold, "But you don't know that…aren't you guys supposed to be Omniscient?"
"He should be…" Sari muttered, "How do we even arrest one of these things?"
"MOVE!"
The two tensed before jumping back, Evil X about to get up before he was suddenly flash frozen in a block of ice.
"Max, keep him from getting out," Jin ordered as he walked over, Yukianesa already out of its sheath, "Sumdac, contact the others and tell th-"
"ENOUGH!" Evil X shouted as the ice shattered, the evil Celestialsapien sending out a force wave that knocked the three over, "Either surrender Ben Tennyson or die!"
"Yea...I don't think we will," Max countered as he got up.
"Given all those Omnitrixes on ya…" Sari began as she got up, "I take it this guy wants Ben's as a trophy."
"Close.." Jin began as he stood up, "He wants to take all version of Tennyson's watch…and ours was just a target"
"What does a literal space god want with the Omnitrix?" Max asked.
"We can ask him after we detain him." Jin replied.
"Right…well…I did complain tonight was boring. So this is what I get." Max sighed, "Steel, got anything new to whip out for this fight?"
=I have been working on something…Try this= he sent the data to Max's helmet.
"Okay I can work with that~" Max chuckled, "Guys leave defense to me." he spoke as he raised his arms, "Go Turbo Speed!" his armor changed into a slimmed down form akin to his Base form, but with a more sleek aerodynamic build and his shoes turned into something akin to running shoes.
"Now is…" Jin began only to blink as Max vanished in a blur of speed, "I am impressed…" he admitted as a blue and white streak ran around and began blitzing Evil X from multiple angles.
Evil X growled as he swung his arms only to blink as he aimed at nothing, only to be struck from behind sending him stumbling forward. The rogue Celestialsapien grunted as he raised his arm, morphing it into a blade shape to block Jin's Yukianesa. He swung to punch Jin only for his swing to miss as Jin was now positioned behind him. Evil X grunted, swinging around with his morphed arm only to miss again as Jin appeared above him, the Celestialsapien only having time to block as a swing was aimed at his shoulder.
Evil X growled as he pushed Jin back and rushed to run him through…only once again miss as the blur that was Max ran past and moved Jin to safety. Evil X turned with wide eyes at how difficult this was becoming only to be struck by Sari, making him stumble towards Jin who slashed him across the chest. Evil X swung his arms up as the ground began to morph into spikes intent on running through both…only for them to hit nothing. Evil X's eyes widened again only for him to flinch as he was shocked again, making him turn as both Jin and Sari slashed him across the back.
Evil X grunted as he moved his arm only to realize he was now turned around. He morphed his body around to face Sari and Jin again, only for Max to shoulder check him towards them…and slashed again in the process. Evil X grunted as he fell to one knee.
"Okay…is it just me…or is he not very Omnipotent…" Max slid to a halt next to Sari.
"Yeah…shouldn't he be…"
"We figured that one of the two in Alien X took over," Jin stated, "The one that likes fighting and wants to stop the extinction event that wiped out the dinosaurs. Don't ask why!"
"Guys, he's doing something," Sari spoke up, seeing Evil X placing a hand on the ground..before the area started to rumble, "?!"
=What's he…= Steel began before it dawned on him =?! He's trying to create a path leading down to HQ!=
"Right…no time to talk!" Max spoke as he crouched down into a running starting pose…before he dashed off and tackled Evil X, as the speed and Max's own mass hit like a powerful cannonball which knocked Evil X into the air.
Evil X growled as he floated there and tried this again only to be blasted by a mana beam and knocked down to the ground. Before he could get up, Kevin-who was coated in metal and his hands replaced with hammers- slammed right into her, making him grunt before he was rapidly punched down into the ground.
"Grr…get off!" Evil X shouted as he pushed Kevin off him, sending him crashing into Max, "You are not the first Kevin Eleven I had to terminate…" he swung his arm to deflect a beam of Mana, sending it right into Sari and Jin, "Same for you, Gwen Tennyson…"
"Yeah…" Max's voice spoke as Evil X turned to see him holding Jin and Sari, "But…have you had to fight them…and Us?" he chuckled, "Alright Sparkles…5 vs 1, lets see if you're still so cocky after this beat down?"
"Just attack! McGraph will defend you!" Jin shouted as he rushed and slashed Evil X.
"Hey Kevin, hold your arms up like this." Max spoke holding his arms straight up.
"Why?" he asked complying, only to yelp when Max grabbed him and used him as a somewhat literal human/Osmosian battering ram as he slammed his hammer fists right into Evil X sending him flying.
"That's why!" Max cheered.
"Oh I think I'm gonna be sick…" Kevin groaned, only for them to dash off, "AH!"
Evil X grunted as he was struck again before Kevin was tossed up and left to slam his hammer on Evil X's head, smashing him face first into the ground. Evil X was suddenly pulled up and left to be slashed by Jin before ice followed the path of his swing and entrapped the Celestialsapien in place. Evil X grunted, swinging his arms and breaking free only for him to be struck from behind by Sari, sending him into Kevin who punched him with his fist morphed into a mace. But the attacks didn't stop as Evil X was struck by multiple ice spears that struck him, followed by a barrage of mana blasts that exploded on impact. Evil X lowered his arms, only for his eyes to widen as Max's foot slammed into his face, sending him falling to the ground and sliding along it.
"It feels like no matter how much we hit him…all it does is tick him off…" Max sighed.
"There has to be a way we can beat him," Sari sighed a bit.
"Alien X is really durable. Not a lot I can think of to hurt him." Gwen sighed.
"Any chance you know new magic to do something?" Max asked.
"Probably not…" Gwen shook her head.
"Had to ask…" Max sighed, "This new form uses a lot of energy, I might slow down soon."
"Seriously?"
=This is honestly draining him faster than any previous form we've done. May have done too good of a job on making this one…= Steel admitted.
"Also it takes me a while to learn how to regulate how much energy I use for new modes." Max explained, "But this is a real good one."
"Yea…good enough to piss him off," Kevin noted as Evil X got back, his eyes narrowed.
"Enough of this…" he scowled before swinging his hand, causing the ground to open up and swallow up Max by his legs. He then swung his hand at both Jin and Sari, making the two wince as they quickly dropped their now burning hot weapons. He looked up just as Kevin leapt right at him, only for him to summon a tendril from the ground and grab him before slamming him right into Gwen, "I grow tired of these games…either stay out of my way…" he held his hand up as the ground began to absorb Max more, "Or die…"
"How's about…option C…" he grunted, "Duck…"
Evil X arched an eye before flinching as he turned around just as a powerful beam hit him and sent him falling and bouncing along the ground, skidding to a halt beside Max. Evil X grunted as his body sparked as he looked up at Maximilian, his right arm converted into a bulky blaster.
"Finally got you with that one, you slippery bastard…" he frowned.
"Oops…" Max tapped one of the Omnitrix Badges on his arm and imbued it with Turbo Energy, making Evil X flinch and back away from him, "If I was you…I'd probably ditch that…chances are…it's about to go boom~"
Evil X looked down in panic as it began beeping erratically, this overload spreading to the full set of three on his right arm. He glared down at Max only to flinch as he now towered over him in Strength Mode.
"You really don't know anything about us huh?" he asked before punching him, sending Evil X stumbling and rolling along the ground before being blasted again by Maximilian's arm blaster.
"I don't know what you did…but its got him spooked." Maximilian looked at Max.
"Thanks…Magister Tennyson…question mark…okay I need the full story on this later," he sighed.
=Well he looks like our Old Max…but…his readings are vastly different…also the bionic super arm…= Steel muttered scanning him.
"He's a Magister Tennyson from an alternate universe," Jin stated as he glared down at Evil X, "Been hunting this guy for a long time after he killed his Ben."
Evil X waved his hand as the Omnitrixes that covered his arm all vanished. He gripped his fist in anger as he glared up at them. He raised his arm but flinched as it seemed like it took more effort for him to call upon his power. He trembled in anger before slamming his hand on the ground, causing it to begin cracking before a faint explosion sound could be heard…the ground literally cracking and caving in beneath their feet after a fraction of a second.
"I got it!" Max shouted, turning to flight mode as he grabbed Jin and Kevin before spinning them around to catch Gwen and Sari. He then grunted as he flew down and used his legs to grab Maximilian, "Everybody okay?" he asked as he floated down slowly, "Good…cause…I'm…officially out of energy so…we fall down in three…two…now…" his armors built in jets sputtered before giving out, thankfully the fall was just a very few small meters now.
Steel however chose to eject from the chest port just as they all fell onto the cold cave ground. He flinched from hearing the impact and groans of pain. Before snickering to himself and taking pictures on his own.
=Probably a jerk move…but I ain't going down with all of you= Steel chuckled.
"Shut up Steel…" Sari groaned as her helmet vanished.
"We were able to slow him down at least…" Gwen sighed.
"Yeah…at the cost of almost dying," Kevin added…before Jin smacked him upside the head, "Ow!"
"Shut up, Levin…" Jin muttered before taking his badge out, "Tsubaki, Evil X got past us... He's most likely heading towards you as we speak."
=I was afraid of that…= Tsubaki sighed =Where are you and the others right now?=
"Currently…a small cavern created from Evil X' attack," Gwen answered as she helped Kevin up.
"Good news…I think I fried like three of his trophy Omnitrix…Omnitrixes…Omnitrices…his watches…three of his watches…" Max sighed.
=...so that at least lessens his power hopefully= Tsubaki whispered.
"It actually did," Gwen spoke up, "I don't get why…but I think the more he has…the more control he has over his power…so this means now he's panicked, defensive and worried."
"Which means he'll be at his most dangerous," Maximillion stated, "Scared or not, a wild beast is at its most dangerous when injured and cornered."
"...They're crying."
"Huh?" Everyone looked at Sari.
"The Omnitrixes…all of them were crying," she spoke up, "When I got close to him, I touched one of the Omnitrixes he had…and I felt them..they were all crying. Almost as if they were begging him to stop."
"Those things always go on a Ben right?" Max guessed, "The way he words it, it's like his watch is alive. Guess there is a reason for it."
"...what if…Evil X…is another version of Ben?" Gwen asked.
"You mean like Eon?" Kevin raised a brow, "Another Ben that's...basically evil?"
"That...or something happened to him that pushed him into this form."
"If so…what could've happened to him?" Max asked.
"Questions for later," Maximilian frowned as he began to walk off, "Right now we need to stop him before he gets to your Ben."
"Right," Jin nodded before looking back at his Badge, "Tsubaki w-"
=Out of my way!= Evil X's voice shouted in the background.
"?!" the group tensed up at that.
Evil X groaned as he was pushed into and through a wall by a burst of gravitational energy. His body slammed into another wall before he could respond. Gravattack grunted, swinging his hand and smacking him into another wall. Evil X grunted, trying to get up only to flinch when multiple prismatic lasers struck him, making him look up to see Skurd forming Chromastone crystals all over Gravattack's head.
"RAGH!" Evil X shouted as he unleashed a large force wave, freeing himself while pushing back Gravattack, "You're wasting your time…that Omnitrix will be mine."
"Yeah I heard that one before…what makes you any different from the dozens of other lowlifes who have hurt people to get this thing?" he asked, making Evil X pause for a moment, "You got any reason why I even should besides 'gimme'? Evil X frowned as he moved to attack only to flinch when he was slashed across the back by Tsubaki making him stumble into a gravity empowered fist that slammed him into the ground. Evil X grunted trying to get back up only to be slammed down again…and again. He grunted as he forced himself up only to be struck and sent flying into a Ground Bridge that opened behind him. Evil X grunted as he was sent stumbling along the ground outside Bellwood.
"Gh….you..will pay…" Evil X began as he got up, only to grunt when Makoto punched him hard in the Chin, "?!"
"HYA!" Makoto shouted as she kicked him back, sending him stumbling back as she jumped out of hte way, "Rook, Noel! NOW!"
"Wh-?" Evil X began as he looked up, seeing Rook aiming at him with his Proto-Tool while Noel held Bolverk in its Rail Gun mode, "?!"
"FIRE!" Noel shouted as she and Rook pulled the trigger, sending out a pair of large lasers that slammed hard into the evil Celestialsapien…only for both lasers to be blocked by his hands before compressing them into a smaller ball, "?!"
"Congrats…you'll be the first to die," Evil X stated before throwing the ball out, only for one of Lambda's Ancient Flails to smack it right back at him as it quickly exploded.
"No…you," Lambda frowned, floating in the air as she was in her armor.
"What?"
"Ha!" Gravattack roared as he slammed down with an incredible crushing gravity punch that pinned Evil X to the ground. He jumped back before rolling into planetoid mode just as Tsubaki landed on him, "Oh we're not done with you yet!" he shouted, dragging Evil X into his orbit before spinning him around, "No one knows how this works more than me…eventually you will time out if we beat you into unconsciousness!"
"Ha!" Tsubaki shouted swinging Excalibur as she buried it into Evil X's abdomen as sparks of cosmic energy came off impact making Evil X grunt in pain.
"Wha-What ARE YOU!?" he cried out before he was sent down into the ground.
"You picked the wrong world to mess with, pal. Here…I got way more friends…with way more power then you've ever seen." Gravattack spoke as he landed and let Tsubaki jump off him.
"You have made a grave error, you would be god! We have faced the Multiverse and beyond…we are not going to lose to one creepy collector." Skurd added as he formed Heatblast arms over Gravattack's "Now we burn you up! Burn you good!"
"Light 'em up!" Gravattack grinned as he fired a stream of fire from his Heatblast arm, making Evil X grunt as he staggered back.
Evil X grunted as the Noel and Rook began blasting him while flanking him, keeping him from moving. The pinned Celestialsapien roared, swinging his now Omnitrix-less arm to stop the flames but grunted when Tsubaki slashed the arm, making him stumble back. He looked at his arm before flinching when Lambda struck him time after time with her flails, knocking him around before grabbing him by the face with one…and swinging him around towards the portal…only to be kicked by Makoto as soon as she jumped through. Evil X grunted as he stumbled along the ground before his eyes widened when a spear almost struck his face.
"He really is weakening…" Gravattack noted, "I guess Alien X is a lot less effective with one brain in control…"
"Still," Mai began as she landed near him, her spear flying back into her hand as she stood ready, "We better not underestimate him."
"Agreed," Tsubaki frowned as she gripped Excalibur, "Weak or not, he's still a Celstialsapien…"
"Right…keep some distance, and hit him with all you have." Gravattack ordered.
"Understood," Lambda responded as her swords began to float up behind her, flames starting to flicker off them before they began to slash at the air, unleashing multiple fire cutting waves at Evil X as rook and noel kept firing at the antagonistic Celestialsapien.
Evil X's eyes narrowed before he raised a hand up, causing a stream of water to burst out of the ground as it shot out towards the group, dispelling the incoming barrage as it pushed back Rook, Noel and Lambda. His head turned a bit before he quickly vanished, dodging both Mai and Tsubaki's slash before they were suddenly kicked back when Evil X reappeared. He then grunted when Gravattack forced him down with his gravity..only for him to be suddenly shot up into the air when a huge stone pillar shot him into the air.
"Be-!" Makoto began before Evil X appeared before her, making her tense before he grabbed her by the neck, "Gah!"
"You care for this Ben Tennyson…the girls I met cared for theirs as well," Evil X stated as he tightened his grip on her, "Unfortunately…they paid the price for loving them…with their life."
"Gh…ack.." Makoto grunted as she tried to free herself from his grip, kicking his chest now and again in her struggles while punching his arm in hopes he'd release her…and yet it strengthened his grip on her as it was getting harder to breathe.
"Let her go!" Gravattack roared, slamming his hands together as two different gravity wells forced the two apart.
"Hmm…magic from their world works…" Skurd noted as he slid around Gravattack to face Tsubaki, "I have an idea…if you're willing to listen to me for once?"
"An idea? …Anything would be good in this situation."
"Hone in on our good edgy boy Ragna…and reel him in." Skurd explained, pointing to where the Ground Bridge portal used to be, "No time to question, do it woman! Hyah!"
"...good idea," Tsubaki nodded before turning her Badge on, "Kajun, I need you to call a Ground Bridge for Ragna."
=Ah..perfect timing then. I received a call from him recently and….well…= Kajun paused just as a Ground Bridge opened up...letting a very pissed off Ragna walk through =He is very irked…=
"Who…did it?" Ragna growled.
"Him…" Gravattack pointed at Evil X as he held Makoto in his arms.
"That...ack ack…guy," Makoto coughed out.
"...Congrats, asshole…" Ragna began as he held up his Azure Grimoire arm, the red orb on the back opening up, "I don't know you and you already made my shit list for ruining my evening…and considering you're a Celestialsapien…I don't have to hold back. Restriction 666 released. Dimensional interference field deployed. BlazBlue... Activate!" he roared as the blood red aura engulfed him.
Evil X blinked before flinching as gravity made him suddenly fall to one knee. The Celstialsapien grunting as he was suddenly slammed with an uppercut that sent him flying back and flipping across the ground before slamming into a rock. Evil X flinched, raising his arm to block Ragna's sword…only for it to slash through him, making him flinch and fall to one knee in pain.
"...heh. What's the matter?" Ragna began as he picked him up," Not a fan of Seithr...ARE YOU?!" he roared as he punched him back hard, sending him rocketing back as he crashed through a few rock formations.
"Hmm…he really doesn't…" Gravattack muttered, "Let's go with that," he put Makoto down and held his arm out as he dragged Evil X out and flung him towards Ragna who punched him again sending him grinding across the ground.
"Good…keep him coming, Ben," Ragna grinned as he cracked his knuckles, "I'm gonna pound his face into fucking mush. Him and his many…Omnitrixes…know what? Not gonna question it…just gonna think of it like that Eon asshole…and beat his ass royally."
"We'll figure it out later. Right now…I just want some payback for hurting my girl." Gravattack grunted, lifting Evil X and sending him flying at Ragna, who landed another punch before spinning around and swinging his sword and slashing Evil X away.
Evil X stumbled along the ground before skidding to a stop only for Mai and Tsubaki to slash him across the back sending him forward towards Ragna who landed another punch. Evil X stumbled back only to flinch as he was slashed multiple times by Lambda's blades before the flails grabbed both his arms and swung him around and towards Gravattack as he punched Evil X and slamming him into the ground. He roared, swinging his arm up and launching Evil X up into the air. Gravattack held his arm up as he grabbed Ragna's hand and tossed him after Evil X.
"HA!" Ragna roared, landing a punch to Evil X's face as a dark shockwave of Seithr knocked Evil X back to the ground, "Diablo…!" he roared out as he swung his sword high, causing multiple large dragon heads to rise out of the ground as they all slammed into Evil X, resulting in a large blast of darkness, "Rampage!"
"GAH!" Evil X cried out as he was sent flying into another rock formation, "How…how are you hurting me?!"
"Simple…" Ragna began as Gravattack forced him back over to the Grim Reaper, letting him grab him by the neck, "Fuck you that's how!" he roared as he slammed him hard into the ground, letting multiple tendrils of darkness slammed into him, "Devoured by Darkness!"
"Remind me not to upset the edgy boy…" Skurd whispered, his eyes wide like dishes, as most everyone used Gravattack as cover from the dust.
"Well I knew he had a lot of hidden power…but guess we found a good time to let him go all out." Gravattack sighed as he pushed the dust away, Evil X laying on the ground, "Well I think he's out cold…but his form is still up…that's trouble…" he walked over, "So…maybe he isn't an alt me…wishful thinking but I know there are evil me's out there…"
"So what do we do with him?" Ragna sighed as he kept his sword at the ready.
"Heck if I know…Celestialsapiens don't exactly have a phone number…and I broke the map apart and hid it with Paradox…" Gravattack groaned, reverting to Ben, "Maybe Alt dimension Grandpa has something."
"Wait…Alt dimension?" Ragna repeated with a raised brow before looking back down at Evil X, "...taking a shot here, but I take it this other version of your gramps is hunting.." he paused as he aimed his sword at the Celestialsapien, "This guy…and said asshole is hunting you down for your Omnitrix considering he's covered in them like some kind of trophy."
"Near as I can figure, he's killed that world and several others…" Ben sighed, "He says he's been chasing him like crazy…but he made a mistake…my world has a lot of people that are on my level. With powers he's never seen. He picked the wrong fight."
"Agreed," Skurd added, "And considering you were able to wound him…" he paused as he rubbed his non-existent chin, "Perhaps your Azure Grimoire, my dear boy…is some type of anti-Celestialsapien weapon."
"Well…we sure as hell have Anti-God stuff…" Ragna sighed, "Guess he really did fuck up and picked the wrong universe…"
"Max says his collection is also highly susceptible to Turbo energy also…" Tsubaki spoke up as she joined them in keeping a weapon and eye on the unmoving Celestialsapien, "He's never been to a universe that has people like us."
"And he got his butt royally handed to him by the two strongest people here," Makoto added.
"I don't think he's ever fought so many powerful people all at once," Ben blinked, "Just me, Grandpa, Kevin and Gwen. But that just shows how weird I made this universe after the whole Anhilargg thing…"
Lambda blinked as she tapped Noel's shoulder and pointed out the buzz of her badge ringing in silent mode. Noel nodded, pulling it out and answering.
"Hello?"
=Kids, what's happening? Are you okay?= Grandpa Max asked, clearly concerned.
"Oh! We're fine…f-for now!" Noel explained, "I think we knocked Evil X out for now…but…we don't know what to do with him…so I think Ragna's just gonna keep punching him if he wakes up…"
"Eeyup!" Ragna shouted.
"We…We could use some advice…" Noel muttered.
"Ask other Grandpa," Lambda offered.
=Get those extra Omnitrixes off him= Maximilian spoke up after a few moments to get him on =Those seem to let him better control his powers since the three the kid Max here blew three of them up caused him to weaken=
"Uh Ben?" Ragna asked, "Your watch, right?"
"I can…try?" Ben muttered as he walked up to Evil X, "If he moves, hit him…" he turned to Ragna.
"Oh trust me, I see a slight breeze and I'm gonna hit him," he nodded.
"Okay…Omnitrix, Voice Commands Authorized. Code: Ten," Ben spoke as at least three of them beeped, "Well…okay that's good…Omnitrix decouple and enter sleep mode, Command Code 1-0-0-1-0." after a moment, the three that responded all beeped…and fell off as they flashed and reverted to his variation of the Omnitrix, but the green faded to black to show it was deactivated.
"Well…that's three more…" Makoto muttered, "Now for the rest…"
"Guess I can try yanking them off…worked once with Vilgax…" Ben muttered, slowly inching closer as he reached for the Omnitrix in the center of his torso.
Suddenly Evil X's eyes shot open before grabbing Ben's arm, making him tense in surprise as he quickly rose up.
"Oh you mother..!" Ragna began before Evil X shot his free hand out, sending him flying far back.
"Don't…you…dare…" Evil X stated in a very dangerous tone.
"GH!" Ben grunted as he struggled to free himself as the Evil X reached for his Omnitrix.
"You've angered me for the last time…and I will take what rightfully belongs to me!" he declared as he grabbed Ben's Omnitrix…before stopping at Skurd as he plucked him off, "And you…get out of my sight," he scowled before tossing him away, "Now…to take…"
"No you...!" Makoto began as she charged, only to stop when Evil X aimed his other hand at Ben's face, "?!"
"Interfere…and he dies…" he threatened, "Either way…his Omnitrix will be mine. So unless you want to see your Ben die…back off…or join him in the afterlife."
"..." Makoto frowned a bit as she backed off.
"That's what I thought…" Evil X stated before looking back at Ben, "Now…to cl-" he began before he was suddenly shot back by a laser shot, forcing him to let go of Ben, "?!"
"Finally…" the others turned to see Maximillian approaching from a Ground Bridge, his blaster out as he glared at Evil X, "I made it in time…"
"Always you, Maximilian," Alien X growled, "How you constantly interfere I may never know nor do I care."
"You made it personal when you killed my Ben and Gwen," Maximillian scowled, "I will not stop until you are put down for good. Besides…" he paused as he noticed his current condition, "Seems you couldn't beat this Ben without his friends interfering…"
Evil X growled before flinching as he felt something on him and looked to see Skurd on one of the Omnitrix that littered his body. Skurd giggled as he linked with it…and ripped it off as he returned to Ben.
"Well how about that…I'm almost as good at taking these off if I link with Ben…" Skurd giggled.
"You little…!" Evil X snarled before he calmed himself, "It seems…I overestimated myself for this world…It matters not…" he paused as he swung his hand, opening up a portal, "There are more Ben Tennysons out there…and more Omnitrixes for me to take and replace the ones you stole from me."
"You mean the ones you stole," Makoto frowned.
Evil X swung an arm out at Makoto, sending out several pulses of light at her. Ragna pushed her out of the way…only to grunt as his body was sliced apart and frozen in mid-air, the slices all shining with a white light. Before anyone could react, he quickly went through the portal and closed it behind him.
"Huh…First time it wasn't a me that got like this," Maximilian noted as he pulled out a silver device resembling a 3D doodle pen, "Now hold on…Ragna, was it?" he pushed a button on it and a yellow light fired from the tip and covered Ragna…pulling him back together and letting him fall flat on his back, "There we go."
"Oh…that…was a deep and unsettling pain…" Ragna groaned.
"What was that, Grandpa Maximilian?" Noel asked.
"Molecular Regenerator. You'd be surprised how often it comes in handy," Maximilian replied, "And fair warning, you may…"
"Why the hell do I want deep fried pickles slathered in butter pecan ice cream with relish and the sauce they put on the hot wing challenge for that food truck in the park?" Ragna asked.
"...that oddly sounds like something you'd actually order, Grandpa…" Ben muttered.
"Well…I wouldn't go that soft…but, yeah, weird food cravings are normal," Maximilian sighed, "It's happened enough times I can say it's a common side effect. Not sure why…" he shrugged.
"Alright then…so…now what?" Ben asked, "I'm not waiting here while he restocks his collection and comes back for a rematch."
"Chances are he's not gonna risk it…and probably go after Bens he knows he can defeat with no effort…"
"Wait, you mean he's gonna hunt down 10 year old versions of me?" Ben asked.
"Not the first time he's done it. The last one before you was a 10 year old and was the watch on the right pectoral. …His Max had a craving for anchovy caramel crunch chips," Maximilian replied as he picked up the one Skurd pulled off, "This one, actually. Fortunately, he's still alive so I can give this back once X-Tinction is dealt with."
"He targets kids?!" Noel gasped before scowling while pulling out Bolverk and Funkfreed while looking around, "Ooh~! That no good dirty…Where is he?!"
"Yeah…If there are things that set Noellie off…it's messing with romance, messing with friends, messing with a friend's romance, and targeting children," Makoto noted, "...Though I honestly can't blame her on the kids part…." she frowned as she pounded her fists together, "You mess with kids…especially if they're kid versions of my man…there will be issues."
"Well…back to chasing him down." Maximilian sighed, "But a few helping hands make it easier." he smiled faintly at them, "I can track him down. But the Rustbucket will be a tight fit for your whole team."
"Usual dimensions?" Ben asked.
"Eh, was planning to surprise the grandkids and Rook with an expanded bedding. I've got enough room for seven counting myself," Maximilian replied as a speaker popped out of his prosthetic hand's palm, "Glitch, bring the Rustbucket here pronto."
"Glitch?" Tsubaki repeated.
"It's the name of the AI," Maximilian explained, "From what I've been able to figure out, it's based off another Ben who used Upgrade to upgrade his Omnitrix and caused the Galvanic Mechamorph DNA to become unusable, so it had to combine with a sample of that Ben's DNA to make a new body to regulate the Omnitrix from the inside."
"...huh…neat," Ben noted.
"...Still, we'll need to figure out a team for this mission," Tsubaki stated, "Chances are we may end up splitting up…that way if we do, we end up saving more versions of Ben in the process."
"Huh…Good head on your shoulders," Maximilian noted.
"She is Grandpa Max's student," Makoto grinned.
"Second in command," Lambda added.
"Hehehe…I guess this version of me is just adopting random magic kids, isn't he?" Maximilian chuckled.
"Well…most of us do call him Grandpa…" Noel muttered, "Even Tsubaki does…even if she tries to hide it."
"N-Noel…" Tsubaki whispered as she looked away.
"I'd recommend we bring Ragna…but no offense, but maybe not bring the potentially dangerous energy he radiates to worlds it doesn't already exist in," Ben sighed.
"Rather stay here, anyway," Ragna snorted, "Someone's gotta stay to deal with your rogues if they learn you're on 'vacation' again."
"G-Good idea," Tsubaki nodded as she calmed herself, "Ben, you and I, along with Makoto, Noel, Lambda, and Mai will be joining Maximillian in going after X-Tinction."
"I still think we should call him 'Evil X' just to make things simple," Makoto clarified.
"...You're sure it's not partially because you, Ben, Max, and Naoto recently played that Scott Pilgrim game, is it?" Tsubaki deadpanned.
"...Maybe."
"Well let's get to it." Ben sighed, "Rook, I leave you in charge of the nonsense."
"I always am," Rook smiled, "And it will be good practice for improving on what I have learned on our last trip."
"Kajun, tell the others we'll be gone for a while," Tsubaki spoke into her Badge, "Chances are this may take a while…"
=Understood. I'll be sure to contact them…oh and I just got a call from Naoto=
"Was wondering where he was…" Ben muttered, "What happened with him?"
=Let's just say…he had to do clean up after your first encounter with Evil X….at the house=
"Oh...oh no. Don't help me or anything," Naoto muttered as he was busy picking up some broken pieces of wood that used to be part of their shared home which was scattered by Evil X in his initial attack, "Ahh…I just had to forget my freakin' badge…"
"Oh, but I am," Merlin noted, calmly looking around while a hand-woven basket floated beside her, the distorted parts of the ground settling as a cosmic-like energy gathered in the basket, "The power of the one who attacked this place is quite a surprise. Pure thought-based reality warping."
"Hey, at least now we don't need to call a landscaper to fix the lawn…and rip out the distorted floor," Alf pointed out as he ate a banana, he, Bluey, and Mari all wearing hardhats. He then tapped his hips before pulling a phone from some sort of…pocket in his fur. He looked at it, "Text from Noel. Her and Lambda are going on another multiversal road trip. 'Be back soon, keep an eye on the fur babies and make sure to give them lots of love.' And then there's a big ol' list of things on taking care of these two…" he looked to the two pets, "Well I guess you will stay with Uncle Alf…let's go steal food~"
"Wait, what?" Naoto looked down at Alf before tensing up as he hit his thumb with the hammer he was using to start repairs on, "Gh?!"
"You okay there, buddy?"
"...just…peachy…" Naoto replied through gritted teeth, his eyes watering a bit as he tried to not shout…especially with how late it was.
"Well guess we'll have to do this…the slow way. What with no one man construction crew Ben Tennyson," Alf sighed, "I'll pay for a hotel for everyone that lives here." he pointed at Merlin, "Not asking you because you'd probably enjoy the comedy that will ensue."
"Oh you know me all too well, Alf," the immortal magician noted in amusement, "But that will have to be when I take breaks from studying this being's energy. You said it came from…a Celestialsapien, yes?"
"That's what I know 'em as. Basically godly beings who can control reality. You know Omnipotence, Omniscient…all the Omni stuff…" he waved his hand.
"...and you didn't think to have an Anodite strip him of his Omnipotence?"
"...Wait, what?"
"Those gals like to keep quite a few spells to themselves along with how those spells work," Merlin explained, waving a pinkie and reforming the table and all the items that had been on it in the living room, "Think of them as a Chaotic Good in this amusing game humans invented based upon olden times."
"Wait…isn't that what Gwen is?" Naoto asked, "I didn't really understand it…'cause apparently Ben is also part alien…but he got no powers…so it's like is he really part alien…or…like…"
"Here's some aspirin for that headache you've got," Alf noted, handing Naoto a bottle of aspirin.
"Alf, this is empty," Naoto replied.
"I know. I ate them all for the headache you gave me," Alf replied.
"...How deep are your pockets?" Merlin blinked.
"Trust me, you don't want to know the adventures I had in the 90s…ooh boy…" he shivered, "I got lost in the Bermuda Triangle for years! Swear I ended up on Giligans Island for a bit…and seriously, why didn't they just eat Gilligan?"
"You know I forgot not everyone I know…is human…" Naoto muttered.
"What? You thought I was a guy in a costume or just a puppet? Just for that, I'm ordering broccoli pizza from San Francisco for the whole Plumber base…in your voice."
"Wait, what?" Naoto looked at Alf.
"Yes," Alf replied…in Naoto's voice.
"!?"
"We don't have more than party tricks, but they are good party tricks," Alf laughed as he walked offf.
"...Oh, I'm in for some big time trouble, huh?" Naoto asked, looking over at the giggling Merlin.
"Oh, he has quite the tale of his time both on his old homeworld and on Earth," Merlin replied in amusement.

"What? You asked."
=I'll try to make sure there's a good rotation for keeping an eye on the Blupee and Mink…and Alf= Kajun assured.
"Thank you!" the Vermilion sisters cheered.

"Sorry you can't join this dimensional road trip, but given how likely we're gonna get attacked…" Ben muttered to Gwen adn Kevin.
"Eh it's fine, man," Kevin shrugged.
"Best we can do is wish you luck with that 'Evil X,'" Gwen added.
"Next time that guy comes back..." Ragna began as he pounded his fist together, "He gets his face mashed in."
"Just try not t-" Tsubaki began.
"Hold it," Jin spoke, making them look at him before he pointed at Noel...or rather behind her.
"Eh? Wh-" Noel began as she looked behind her…and saw Robotboy poking out from behind a corner, "...Robotboy?"
"Noel..leaving again?" Robotboy asked.
"Ohh…" Noel spoke, walking up to him before scooping him up, "I'm sorry, Robotboy. This is a very scary mission I'm going to be dealing with."
"We won't stay gone long, it'll be a fast trip," Ben added, "I promise we'll be back in no time."
"...Pinkie promise?" Robotboy asked as he held his pinkie out.
"Pinkie promise," Ben assured, locking his pinkie with Robotboy's.
"...Noel?"
"...Hai," Noel nodded a bit as she interlocked her pinkie with his, "We promise we'll be back soon."
"Mmm," Robotboy smiled as he gave a thumbs up, "Then be safe!"
"Can do, Ro!" Makoto smiled a bit.
"Alright, let's go hunt down a Celestialsapien…" Ben sighed to his friends.
"Alright, all set up and ready to go," Maximilian spoke, standing before his Rustbucket and turned to Grandpa Max, "Gotta thank ya. Been missing the taste of some of the ingredients you helped with. I tell you, the right kind of ingredients for Xeno cuisine is a downright difficult hassle to find in most universes. Last time I tried to find the right one, I ended up with blue skin and orange hair for a month."
"Tell me about it. Fresh Gorvonian Milk is difficult to find and when it expires you have to fumigate the entire city you open it up in because of the stench," Grandpa Max sighed, "July 12th, 1979 was a sad day for good music. And the cover story was terrible with the 'Disco Demolition' night and some Chicago White Sox fans."
"Oh boy…don't even remind me of those horrible cover stories from those old days," Maximilian sighed, "Who thought of that stuff?"
"I've honestly given up after the exposure Jimmy caused," Grandpa Max shrugged.
"Oh I remember that," Maximilian noted, "...did Harangue…"
"Locked him up multiple times for an attempted plan with the Incurseans and assisting in attempted genocide."
"So did Ben invert the system for that latter part and turn him into an alien for a sense of irony?"
"I could've done that?" Ben asked, "Eh…Was more focused on 'destroy the dumb thing so my girlfriend would be safe.'"
"Aw, you're sweet," Makoto smiled, "But we'll invert his home's air system to bake him alive."
"Do you need to keep picking on that poor sad old man?" Noel asked, "At a point, it just feels cruel…it's not like he has any family…"
"I'm pretty sure his family disowned him the moment he sided with the Incurseans," Makoto retorted.
"Sister, he threatened our friends…even the adorable ones. My well of pity dried up fast," Lambda argued.
"And remember what he said under the Bronze Boots of Truth," Ben added, "I do not want to think of what he would've done if he learned all your parents were here…especially Makoto's Pa and most of her sibs."
"...True…" Noel whispered with a grimace.
"Robotboy go hide stink bomb in apartment?" Robotboy offered.
"...Who has been teaching Robotboy things he shouldn't learn?" Noel frowned, looking at Tsubaki.
"I blame the Kagura and the Alf," Tsubaki quickly replied.
"Uncle Alf show me how to make one stink worse than skunk!" Robotboy smiled.
"..."
"You can make your displeasure known after we come back from saving the Omniverse from the Alien X-Tinction event going on."
"...Fine," Noel pouted a bit, "...but we will have words later on."
"That's fair," Tsubaki sighed, "Now come on…let's hurry and stop X-Tinction…"
"Evil X," Makoto spoke.
"...Evil X before he targets another Ben."
"Been a long time since I got into a Rustbucket to save the world," Ben sighed, "Let's do it!" he declared as he jumped into Maximillian's Rustbucket.
"Ike!" Makoto cheered on as she followed him.
"Here we go again," Mai sighed as she went next.
"Now you be good, okay, Robotboy?" Noel spoke, putting the robot down, "Make sure your bad guy roster are all locked up if they broke the law. Oh, and the professor called on my way home today. He wants you to go visit him tomorrow, ok? He says he has a surprise for you."
"A surprise?" Robotboy repeated in confusion...yet slight curiosity.
"Yes. He wouldn't say, but he thinks you may like it if a situation like this happened again," Noel replied.
"Yay! Visit professor!" Robotboy cheered, earning a giggle from Noel and a pat to the head.
"Okay. Now remember to be a good boy, don't eat organic food, and keep a notebook on hand because you never know when you'll be inspired to write in it," Noel spoke as Lambda picked her up, "Ah! A-And don't forget to polish behind your ears! And remember your bedtime is at eleven! And no playing emulators while pretending you're in sleep mode!"
"Grab legs…" Lambda ordered to Makoto as she tried to help.
"I'm trying, but she's swinging them wildly!" Makoto complained.
"A-And make sure to listen to the adults, and keep a good eye on Mari-chan, and.." Noel grunted as the two carried her inside...before she grabbed onto the doorway, "And behave when you go to visit Jenny and Kibo-kun! Tell them we said 'Hi' and…!"
"Sister…" Lambda sighed as she grabbed her head and dragged her in.
"Ahh! Bye Robotboy, I love you!"
"Bye-bye! Love you too, Noel!" he waved.
"Hopefully, no place Alien X goes has something cute and adorable…aside from a Ben with Ditto unlocked," Maximilian chuckled before tossing Noel a Ditto doll, but looking more canine-looking with a tail, "Here. Something to help with the withdrawal."
"...He looks a little like a corgi with that tail," Ben compared.
"Mine," was all Noel said as she caught it, smiling as she nuzzled it, "Corgi Ditto~"
"Let's go." Tsubaki sighed as she walked in, "The sooner the better. We can't leave that monster roaming free."
"Agreed. Who knows what he's scheming at the moment…" Maximilian frowned.
"I…I was injured…" Evil X frowned, standing on top of a piece of debris within what looked like a void, "That Ben Tennyson…he was different…him and his allies…and I lost so many Omnitrixes because of them…" he waved a hand and images replayed of his fight against them, "A world unlike any other before…one that seems to have blended with others…perhaps something changed with his restoration of his universe with our power? An anomaly we did not expect." he narrowed his eyes, "It appears our power alone is not enough if they choose to pursue." he waved his hands out and more images appeared, "...We may need…assistance…"
SZ: Hoo boy…what a way to start this arc off.
Z0: *busy building giant dimensional walls* That…that should keep us on path.
GT: Eeyup. It was insane making this! And you will not believe the talks behind the scenes we've done in order to get all the chapters of this arc all set up! Well…until we decided to do commentary in these Author's Notes sections at the end.
SZ: Yeah. Also as of writing this…the creator of Blazblue Mori has retired from Arc System Works. We don't know what's gonna happen to the Blazblue series, but we thank you Mori..thank you for bringing us an awesome fighting game filled with likable characters, hateable characters, and…a really complicated yet very interesting timeline for your stories.
GT: Would not have our adorable Squirrel Girl Makoto that would lead to us making pairing her up with Ben Tennyson that led to two-to-three other stories that eventually led to the creation of this very story even without Mori-san.
Z0: And us becoming friends in the process of working together on all these!
