86. Ultimate Gweniverse

GT: *tangled up in the blankets in the back* Okay…Z0, how did you get us lost? You had a map, a GPS, and everything!

Z0: BAH! I don't need no stinking map…*grumbles in spanish and calling my friends several rude names in the process* Where are we anyway *leans head out* Swamp…Gators…Fan boats…a mix of French, African and Native American culture…Gators? *alligator jumps in through the window* Okay I know where we are now…I'm gonna go get gumbo you guys take care of our new pet. *walks out as the Gator fully climbs in*

GT: Oh not again! At least this one isn't an animatronic like the last one…*sees the reader* Oh. Hi there, folks. We, uh…Yeah, we got lost and apparently, we're in a universe that's all like New Orleans.

SZ: Yup…and I need a slice of that King Cake!

Z0: The Gator! *Gator hisses as it walks towards them*

GT: We don't own anything in this story but our own ideas! *struggles in the blankets* …Uh…Oh! The camera over there has meat in it! Lots of meat shoved deep into it!

Once again, they returned to the veil-like space that separated dimensions from one another. The Rustbucket slowed down as the team within talked about their next strategy to try and get ahead of the Evil Celestialsapien.

"Okay. We know that X-Tinction is now using some of the more 'bad' versions of Ben to gather Omnitrixes," Maximilian noted as he tapped on the table and a holographic display of various photos of Bens appeared before tapping on one of Little Ben and making his image green, "Fortunately, I've been making sure to take note of those universes for caution." he tapped another part of the table and a red screen popped up, showing various Bens and none had the normal smile a Ben should have, "And I need to update this, too." he tapped on Benzarro's zombie picture and it went from the red screen to the green one, showing the cured version of himself highlighted green.

"That is a lot of bad me's and good me's," Ben noted, "...Why does that one look like Vilgax?"

"That dimension Humans and Chimera Su Genesis have their species swapped," Maximilian explained, "Human Vilgax is still extremely dangerous. Ever seen The Boys?"

"...Homelander?" Makoto guessed.

"Best comparison, yeah," Maximilian confirmed.

"I really am disliking this topic…" Ben muttered, "Okay so…what is our best guess?"

"Well I can track the portals he makes…If he's sending evil Ben's out there…chances are same portal," Maximilian explained, "I'll run a search for his portals and we'll take off after…" he paused, "Oh giblets…" he found multiple portals all at once.

"That…is not good," Lambda noted.

"Alright…maybe…splitting up?" Maximilian offered.

"That never works in horror movies…" Makoto pointed out.

"Please stop there…" Noel pleaded, "We just dealt with one Zombie…no more!"

"Only question is how will we split up?" Tsubaki asked.

"Fortunately for you, kids…" Maximilian pulled out a set of keys and pressed a button…causing a car alarm to signal its shutdown as a panel by the bathroom slid open, "My Rustbucket did get upgraded with a garage attachment."

"..." Ben ran over and looked inside, "...No way…" he grinned, "Is that…?"

"We had loaded it in before X-Tinction came," Maximilian explained.

=It has been fitted with a tether system that will automatically bring it back to the Rustbucket once your mission has been completed= Glitch informed.

"What?" Makoto pondered as she walked over and looked in, "Oh! Haven't seen it that good since before I first watched one of Harangue's propaganda."

"Yeah…Do not punch it this time, babe," Ben warned.

"...I promise to try…a lot."

"...Do I even want to know?" Tsubaki sighed.

"I…uh…I got a little grumpy when Harangue got racist…" Makoto sheepishly explained, blushing a bit in embarrassment.

"Makoto, even Kevin admitted he had to scrap the majority of the parts and the hood because of how much damage you dealt with one punch," Ben pointed out.

"...Right," Tsubaki sighed, facepalming.

"Looks like the closest ones are these two Bens," Maximilian noted, using two fingers to move two images of Ben to between the two screens and onto a blue one, "So, who goes where?"

"...Ben, you take Makoto and Mai to this Ben," Tsubaki noted, pointing at a Ben in a green leather jacket with a '10' on it and his hair combed neatly with a smaller smile than their Ben normally has.

"Meaning the rest of us will be going to check on this Ben, then," Maximilian noted, pointing at the other of a ten-year-old Ben in a white shirt with black line going down the middle and baggy green cargo pants, "Or, rather…this Ben's Gwen."

"Hmm?" Noel and Lambda blinked at that.

"Man…it's been forever since I drove…I kinda miss having some motor head as my personal driver," Ben chuckled as they got into the still working version of his car, the DX Mark 10, "Hey wait…Makoto, check the glove compartment, that's where I jammed the manual for my version."

"You got it!" Makoto beamed as she opened it…and grimaced on seeing a picture of Kai and Ben in it with a sheathed sword on Kai's back, "..." she flipped it over while pulling out the manual, "Here it is."

"Let's see if this one works the same as mine did…in case of no keys Kevin added a system that starts it up with the Omnitrix," Ben explained, flipping through the pages, "Bingo~" he put his hand on the side of his door before lining up his Omnitrix with the door wall; as it activated, the car followed suit as it recognized the similar signal, "Well, let's get this show on the road!"

"Why did Kevin make the back so small?" Mai complained.

"He was just happy I stopped hanging in his car all the time," Ben sighed, "Hey, maybe Grandpa Maximilian will let me keep this version after all is said and done."

"Maybe," Makoto grinned.

"Can I ask that we take it to the Kevin of the universe we're going to and make the back bigger, please?" Mai asked.

"We'll see," Ben replied as the back of the Rustbucket opened and deployed a ramp, letting Ben drive out, "Whoo!"

"They'll be okay, right?" Noel asked as they watched them leave.

"Well…Ben's still the strongest and most reliable we have…" Tsubaki sighed.

"It will work out…" Lambda lingered, "I'm gonna go hug another tiny Ben."

"He's oddly short and adorable…" Noel muttered.

"I can't argue it…" Tsubaki shrugged.

"Fair warning? I've noticed the white shirt Bens tend to have…issues…with their Gwens compared to the green shirts," Maximilian advised.

"Huh?" Tsubaki looked at him in surprise, "Issues?"

"They tend to argue…a lot," Maximilian sighed, "Sure they get better, but it takes at best five years for that to happen." he looked at Tsubaki, "I give you full permission to discipline the both of them if their Max is indisposed."

"..." Lambda raised her hand.

"Yes, you can hug Ben if he behaves," Maximilian rolled his eyes with an amused smile.

"They are so small," Lambda smiled.

"Alright. Glitch, ETA?"

=Three minutes= Glitch replied.

"Well I guess just rest 'till we get there. It's still a Ben, so nothing we're not used to," Tsubaki sighed.

"Oh dear…you tempted fate, didn't you?" Noel sighed, "La-chan…prepare for chaos."

"I will get extra first aid kits," Lambda sighed, "Grandpa of another dimension…can we borrow this big space gun?"

"Absolutely not…That is mine for when someone tempts fate," Maximilian replied, "There's two smaller ones in the garage you can use, however."

"Ah…Thank you, Grandpa of another dimension," Lambda thanked as she walked off to the garage.

"You gonna arm up?" Maximilian asked.

"No, I'm good. Just going to calm myself with adorable Ditto-corgi," Noel replied, hugging the plush with a content smile.

"Noel's fight and flight responses are…unpredictable…" Tsubaki muttered as Maximilian raised a brow at the red-head, "She can either lock up in fear…or become even more fearsome than the thing that surprised her…And then chase it down with a hailstorm of gunfire…"

"I'm banned from Universal Studios globally during Halloween Horror Nights," Noel admitted with a blush, "I'm not even allowed to be in the same state during that month."

"Ben has to use Pesky Dust to put her to sleep and give her a dream of being surrounded by adorable short legged dogs…" Tsubaki added.

"I swear, I will have a corgi one day," Noel stated firmly.

"You have two pets…" Tsubaki pointed out.

"Yes…but I will love them all equally. I shall have the fluffy loaf of friendship and cuteness!"

"...I only saw the mink. What was the…?" Maximilian began as Noel held up Funkfreed, "...A pet sword?"

"Long story," Tsubaki sighed, "And why didn't he come out?"

"He's still passed out from fright of seeing Evil X," Noel replied, petting the butt of the sheathed blade.

"For now…yes, he is a pet sword," Lambda explained as she came out, "But when awake…big surprise…" she paused, "Probably best we not…wake him inside of the Rustbucket…before we are added to the list of Vehicle Destroyers…like Tsubaki."

"Oh so true, La-chan," Noel nodded in agreement while Maximilian got in the driver's seat.

"...Your cute plushy collecting is revoked for this dimension," Tsubaki deadpanned at the two.

"..." Lambda aimed the Plumber rifle at Tsubaki as Noel pushed it down and shook her head no.

"We'll get her back when we get home," Noel whispered, "Kajun-chan never got rid of this one thing Ben-san and Makoto-chan requested her to make for our first Halloween here."

"..." Lambda nodded.

'I think I got the problem kids,' Maximilian thought as he turned the RV and the veil parted to reveal the Golden Gate Bridge, "Ah, San Francisco. Haven't been here in a long time."

"Wow…We've never been here either," Noel awed, "There are still so many amazing things we haven't actually taken the time to see, huh?"

"That is true," Tsubaki agreed

"Kitsune Mura…" Lambda whispered with stars in her eyes, "Miyagi Zao Fox village…all the little foxes~"

Noel gasped, "Oh, you are right, La-chan! We have got to start making a list of places to visit when we go home!"

"...I think I see Ben," Tsubaki noted, looking out the window at a higher part of the bridge, "All the way up there as Diamondhead."

"What…?" Maximilian asked, "But…that…in this world, Gwen has the Omnitrix…"

"Gwen?!" Tsubaki and Noel asked in surprise.

"Ah…Kevin," Lambda realized.

"Eh?" Noel looked at her sister.

"Files back home said that Kevin used to have energy from the Omnitrix in him, letting him transform into the first ten aliens of Ben's," Lambda explained, "He then mutated into a hybrid of all ten and couldn't change back until time spent in Null Void."

"Of course," Maximilian realized as he pulled the Rustbucket over so they could get out, "Which means he's likely up there fighting a man named Steel."

"...There's a human named Steel?" Noel whispered.

"In the report," Lambda replied, "Lieutenant for Special Extraterrestrial Containment Team." she looked past Noel and towards the other end of the bridge, "Ah…Gwen and other Grandpa."

"Wait…where's their Ben?" Noel noted.

"Have you tried that comic book store?" Tsubaki pointed out the back window as, sure enough, a 10 year old Ben with headphones on was busy reading a Sumo Slammers comic book inside a Comic Book Cafe.

"Well…at least he's out of trouble," Maximilian muttered.

"...It feels weird not seeing him heading to protect others," Noel admitted, tilting her head.

"Orders, sir?" Tsubaki asked as the Diamondhead on the bridge began to fire crystal shards out at the cars on the bridge and snapping several of the thicker cables.

"Damage control," Maximilian ordered, "Give Gwen backup if needed."

"Seems like the smart call," Noel noted, "But who did they send to this world then?"

"Hmm…" Maximilian muttered while tapping a button, "Odd…I'm getting a second Omni Core reading…but also a chrono distortion. That's something that only happens when that Eon character shows up." he sighed, "That can't be good. I know Gwens are much smarter with an Omnitrix…but two people…while fighting an out of control Kevin?"

"Oh! I remember him!" Noel gasped before fuming, "Ooh…That no-good attempted ruiner of an anniversary date…!" she summoned Bolverk, "Which way is he, sir?"

"Well now…that's odd…he's near the second Omni Core…" he turned around as the locator…pointed right at the comic cafe, literally right at Ben, "Okay, now that's not normal…"

"Look…" Lambda peeked through binoculars, "Omnitrix!" the ten year old Ben yawned as he held his left arm to show a large green gauntlet.

"But…if…then that…wha-what is happening?" Maximilian held his head.

"Wait…but you said…but yet…?" Tsubaki blinked.

"Looks like things are weirder here…" Noel shrugged, "La-chan, after the time traveling jerk!"

"Aye," she pumped the Plumber Rifle, making it hum to life.

"I guess…we'll handle the bridge?" Tsubaki muttered.

"Yeah…I'll ask the me of this world for answers…" Maximilian muttered, still holding his head while shaking it.

"Understood," Tsubaki nodded as the four split up.

"Good luck…and don't overreact!" Noel called out from down the road.

"I hope Ben's team is having just as crazy a time…" Tsubaki sighed.

"Man…I forgot how dull Bellwood felt before the Highbreed caused me to get back into Hero work…" Ben muttered while driving down the street. He tapped the console, "Huh…given the date…I was like already mid-way through my little secret war against them…but…nada…this car's windows have built in DNAlien detection…but not a single beep…"

"Kevin added that?" Makoto blinked.

"He gave it to me on the tail end of the war against them…but during a different little side adventure," Ben explained, "So he left in all that stuff just in case any secret DNAliens were straggling around town."

"Huh…They have that construction site, too," Makoto pointed out, "I really wanna know what they're building!"

"Same here," Ben agreed.

'...Has…Has no one told them why it's never going to be done?!' Mai thought in disbelief.

"Still, weird. You'd think after driving around town five times…we'd see this world's me doing something heroic…" he pondered for a moment, "Unless…hang on…we're swinging by the most horrible place I swore I'd never return to…" he glared intensely, "High school…"

"How many times did you almost burn it down?" Mai asked.

"Eh, that's not important." Ben replied as he took a turn.

"Three times in the first month we knew each other."

"Babe~!"

"Knew it…" Mai sighed as they pulled up to the local public High School.

While in their world it bragged that it was once attended by Ben, here…it looked like just a regular school. Nothing stood out, just normal kids milling about. More than a few aweing at the car, but thanks to tinted windows no one saw them. Ben quickly pulled around to the school student parking lot and stopped so they were facing the outdoor soccer field. Ben tapped the dashboard as the windshield suddenly lit up with a HUD system that zoomed in and focused on…Ben. This world's Ben, but clearly younger, as he was still 15 unlike their Ben. Noticeably neater hair as well, and was currently the goalkeeper of the team as they practiced.

"Hey…it's me~" Ben chuckled, watching his alternate self, "I'm still on the team here…oh I'm still on the team…" he realized.

"Babe?" Makoto blinked.

"I…I quit the team when I put the Omnitrix back on…" he explained, "I didn't have the time to keep playing and go out and fight an alien invasion…this me never put the Omnitrix back on. There was never a call for this me to return to being a Hero."

"Say what?!" both girls gawked.

"There's only one way to be sure if there are no Highbreed or DNAliens…we're going to meet Grandpa Max," Ben spoke as they drove out and down the road.

"To the Plumbers base?" Makoto guessed.

"No. Most likely, Grandpa hasn't had to operate things so often since I didn't put the Omnitrix back on, so more than likely? He's at the RV Park cooking lunch," Ben replied.

"...Yes," Mai smiled, suddenly with a napkin tucked into her top and holding up silverware with stars in her eyes.

"I swear, Noellie and Grandpa Max spoiled your taste buds," Makoto deadpanned before Ben facepalmed, "What's wrong?"

"No Omnitrix means no investigating Highbreeds with Magister Labrid, no investigation means no running into Kevin during a deal he was making and the Magister dying while protecting Gwen and Kevin. He's still gonna be a bad guy here, I just know it," Ben groaned.

"Oh…I guess I didn't do that math…" Makoto muttered.

"Well for now, this me has no Omnitrix, it's deactivated and just sitting in the deepest parts of my closet at home," Ben added, "So…let's talk to this dimension's Grandpa and find out what happened to the Highbreed and their DNAliens."

"Right!" Makoto and Mai agreed before, roughly twenty or so minutes, the car arrived at an RV Park and slowed down to stop by a familiar RV with Grandpa Max humming as he grilled what looked to be purple hamburgers.

"Hm?" Max looked up from his grill at the green car, "Well that's new." Ben got out first, "Ben? Well, I'll be. If you had called ahead of time, I would've gotten some more patties from Baumann's shop. Trying out a new look?"

"Not exactly, Grandpa," Ben replied as Makoto and Mai got out while he showed his Omnitrix to him.

"You put it back on? What's going on?" Max asked in concern.

"Well technically…your Ben hasn't…" he explained, "Take a good look, Grandpa…don't I at least look a little taller?" he chuckled.

"I'll be…" he blinked in realization.

"Let's just say…if we can, I think I'd like to keep this world's Me…out of all this nonsense," Ben explained, "It…it will make sense when I explain everything. But let's do it inside; you might wanna sit down for this tale."

"Fair enough," Max nodded before flipping the patties onto a few buns, "Glad you arrived after I was finishing up cooking, too. It'd be a waste of good Peptos XI patties if they got burnt."

"Oh I've always wanted to try those," Mai whispered as she quickly rubbed her arm over her drooling lips.

"She's a big fan of your cooking," Ben explained, "Well…Alien cooking in general."

"We choose to…let her indulge," Makoto added, "Hasn't caused anything weird to happen to her yet…" she bowed, "Oh, uh, Makoto Nanaya, sir. And she's Mai Hazuki or Natsume depending on her mood."

"Pleasure to meet ya both," Max nodded as they headed on inside the RV, "So what's your story, Ben?"

"I suppose I should begin with this one fact," Ben muttered as they took seats, "In my Dimension, when I was 15…you vanished one day. I later learned you had gotten back into Plumber work with Magister Labrid. You were working on investigating aliens called the Highbreed and their mutated soldiers called DNAliens." he explained, "You left me a message that I assumed was a trick message where you said you had the Omnitrix, so if an alien found it, they wouldn't attack me. But…I ended up putting it back on anyway, and by this point in time…I was already mid-way through a secret war against their invasion."

"In short, uh…what happened to the Highbreed of this dimension?" Makoto asked.

"Ben told us they were so aggressive and dead set on wiping all life in the galaxy out because of their poor health and eventual extinction," Mai added.

"...The Higbreed here have been extinct for well over eighty years now," Max explained after a moment to think on it, "From what the Plumbers gathered back then, they had been attempting to make a way to keep having children through a cloning device but ended up creating an tasteless and odorless chemical as a byproduct of the cloning that contaminated their water source and, well…"

"Ooh…" Makoto cringed, realizing the implications.

"So…they were already long gone." Ben noted, "So…I never had a reason to put the Omnitrix back on here."

"I guess not…" Mai muttered.

"Now if I may ask a question…" Max began as he looked at the three, "Why are you three here?"

"A multiversal threat in the form of a rogue Celestialsapien known as X-Tinction or Evil X for short," Ben replied, "He's been going across the multiverse and stealing the watches of various Bens. My universe has several unknown factors that led to him losing several of his pilfered watches, so we were recruited to stop him."

"And a bigger issue is that he's now recruited some evil versions of Ben to go out and get him more," Makoto grimaced, "We just dealt with a zombie Ben going after a kid Ben. Zombie got cured and sent back home to be the cure for anyone else."

"Cured?" Max asked.

"The Omnitrix, it has the power to cure just about anything DNA related." Ben explained, "That's how I stopped the Highbreed…I cured their DNA by splicing all of them with random alien DNA. Now they are healthy and able to reproduce naturally again. I took away their very reason to fight, then a Highbreed commander I befriended talked some sense into them. Now he rules as their new leader and they are atoning for their crimes."

"That explains that letter we get each Holiday season…" Makoto muttered.

"Huh…That's honestly amazing," Grandpa Max noted, smiling at that, "Good work."

"Thanks, but…there's the issue with those bad Bens," Ben frowned, "We have no clue if Evil X or another me is here looking for the Omnitrix and Ben here."

Max rubbed his chin in thought, "If they're thinking he still has it, they'll likely attack when he's being a hero." He pulled out his badge and tapped it, "Patelliday told me Labrid is going to lead a small team on a raid tonight on an arms deal. They'll likely believe Ben would be involved with busting it."

"Kevin…" Ben spoke earning Max's attention, "It's going to be Kevin Levin."

"He managed to escape the Null Void?"

"Yeah, he still hasn't told us how, too," Ben frowned, "Best friends for nearly three years now and still no details on how."

"He made the car outside," Mai added.

"When I met him again, he was selling weapons to the Forever Knights…well when they were at their least lame…" Ben sighed.

"They also have a dragon alien in one of their bases," Makoto added, recalling some of the adventures Ben had told her about, "Poor guy has a wife and kid that's probably flying by now."

"...That's right…" Ben frowned, "I…I forgot how many good things I actually did when I put the watch back on. I was so focused on fighting off an invasion, looking for Grandpa…and getting used to having powers again."

"Well…I always knew you had it in you, Kiddo." Max smiled, "Maybe…maybe it is time for my Ben to put it back on. I just wanted you kids to have a normal life, but…I forget you were more like me."

"When he's ready he'll do it." Ben sighed, "But for now…I have a dragon to go help." he smirked as he walked off.

"Well that will be something…" Max muttered.

"Ben! Wait! I wanna see a dragon!" Makoto chased after him.

"...Couple," Mai explained, "They'll be back soon. For now I guess you and I will keep an eye on…Ben…No Watch Ben." she muttered.

"That should be easy enough," Max chuckled, "What was he doing last?"

"Soccer practice."

"Good. He'll be going to Mr. Smoothy's by 5th and Central for a Wheatgrass and dragon fruit smoothie," Max noted, "Then after, he'll likely go see Gwen to get a bit of tutoring."

"...Well if there's one thing I guess all Ben's have in common..is their shared love of Mr. Smoothy's," Mai rolled her eyes with a slight amused smile.

"I'm glad that much remains constant." Max smiled.

Back in the other universe with Maximilian and the others, things were progressing…as chaotic as one would expect. Currently, Maximilian and Tsubaki made their way to the bridge as things were getting more intense. The Diamondhead attacking the Bridge was now engaged in a fist fight with what appeared to be FourArms…however, it was clear as day it was a female Tetrimand, with red hair and an all blue attire. However, the fight was at a stalemate as it seemed the one they now knew was Kevin, held the man he was fighting before hostage, while also shooting at the female FourArms and keeping her from getting any closer.

"Come on, loser? I thought you were good at this? Or maybe…you're not as good at this whole alien hero thing as you thought? Why don't you call that cousin of yours…he sure knew how to use these powers better while we hung out!" Kevin laughed.

"Rrrr…" the female Tetramand growled before she felt a weight on her shoulder, "Huh?" she looked in time to see Tsubaki jumping off her.

"What the…?!" Kevin began before Tsubaki swung Excalibur and sliced through his crystalline arm, freeing the man, "GAH!"

"Are you alright, Lieutenant Steel?" Tsubaki asked, slicing the fingers off to release the man.

"Ugh…Wh-Who are you?"

"Just a passing-through tourist," Tsubaki replied, "Trust me…you don't get paid enough to know who I am or what I do." she put his arm around her shoulders and jumped off the ledge before grabbing one of the bridge's cables and sliding down it.

"Hey! Who the heck are you?!" Kevin snapped, glaring down at the retreating Tsubaki before grunting as two strong Tetramand fists rammed into his face, sending him away from the ledge.

"Whoever she was, she took away your hostage," she smirked as she cracked her knuckles, "Now…I can go all out."

"Ugh…Please I don't need that old loser…I can still beat you…" Kevin groaned as he began flashing and slowly morphing himself into Heatblast, "Unlike you, I'm stuck as these freaks! You're gonna turn back to a loser little girl eventually!" he cupped his hands and formed a fireball, "So I don't mind playing with you until that happens." he launched it at her.

"It's not my fault you grabbed the watch!" she clapped her hands, sending out a shockwave that dispersed the flames, "You're the one who tried to take my cousin away so you'd have a little sidekick…"

"Yeah…well, I'm not the family that tried to run him out~" Kevin spoke, punching her from behind sending her to the ground, "But when he told me about that watch…I knew that would be our meal ticket to whatever we wanted, but the little idiot didn't tell me it'd turn me into a freak version of all your weirdo aliens! Now I can't even return to normal…"

"Like I said, I'm not the one who thought it'd be a good idea to touch it," she huffed as she quickly slammed the ground, letting out a shockwave that knocked Kevin off the side…before he shot up as Stinkfly, "You could use these abilities for good, but all you want to do is steal and hurt people!"

"Yeah, help people, hahaha…that's rich!" he laughed, "What would I get out of helping people? No one ever helped me, so why should I help them?"

"Because you know what it's like to not have help," a voice replied before Kevin yelped as a laser blasted him, knocking him to the ground while the tetramand turned to see Max with his arm in its blaster mode.

"Grandpa? Wh…What's with the arm? And when did you grow a beard?" the Tetramand asked in surprise.

"Long story, Gwen," Maximilian replied as he looked at Kevin as he grunted and shifted into Fourarms, "But I do mean what I said." he looked at Kevin, "You understand what it feels like to be without aid, without support from others. It would be better if you used that experience to have it so no one else would feel what you did, wouldn't it?"

"Grrr…" he growled, "What do you know?!" he slammed the ground, making it buckle like a wave and head towards them, making Gwen pick up Maximilian and jump over the wave, "I'm a freak! Not even my own Mom wants me! You still get to go home to a family that wants you! Well if no one cares about me, why should I care about them?" he grunted suddenly as he held his own chest as the same flashes when he changed forms went off, "Wha…what's happening?"

"Rats," Maximilian scowled.

"What's happening?" Gwen asked.

"The energy in him is going out of control, making him into an amalgamate of the ten forms you currently had at the time," Maximilian explained as Kevin's form twisted and shifted, bulking up into FourArms in just Kevin's pants before the gills of Wildmutt grew under his arms as a jagged 'Y' made of Ghostfreak's 'tracks' formed on his chest.

"Gh…Grah!" Kevin screamed as his back bubbled until becoming coated in Upgrade's form while Stinkfly's wings erupted from his back near his shoulders.

His arms twitched before his left arm became engulfed in Heatblast's body while Diamondhead crystals covered the right before Wildmutt's arms became his two lower arms. XLR8's tail ripped out of the back of his pants before he let loose another scream that bled into a roar as his mouth expanded with Ripjaws's fangs while his right eyes fused into one of GreyMatter's eyes while the lure on Ripjaws's head poked out of his forehead.

"What…What did you do to me?!" he demanded as he tried to change shapes, "I…I can't change back…You did this to me!"

'His emotions are making him act out of control,' Tsubaki thought as she stood ready, '...What if…it's making it impossible for him to control his powers properly?"

"I'm gonna make sure you dweebs pay for what you did!" Kevin snapped as he turned the Diamondhead arm into a giant blade before lunging at them, "I'll make everyone pay!" he roared as they ducked out of the way, "Everyone who ever called me a freak, who pushed me around…who took my mom from me…Everyone!" He grabbed Maximilian by his bionic arm and began crushing it.

"Leave him alone!" Gwen roared, shoulder-tackling Kevin away from Maximilian.

"Sonuva…Gonna have to work on this later," Maximilian grimaced as he looked at the damage on his arm.

"Are you alright?" Gwen asked.

"I'll be fine, but be careful. He's not in the right state of mind," Maximilian advised, "Tsubaki, no cutting off his Petrosapien arm again or any limb for that matter. I have no idea if it will regenerate and I do not want the me here to explain to his mother why he's got a prosthetic when he eventually changes back."

"I forget Osmosians don't fully copy abilities…" Tsubaki muttered.

"Petrosapien? Osmosian?" Gwen pondered before grunted as Kevin rammed into her, ending up in a grapple with the female Tetramand with his bigger arms until he delivered two blows to her face with his Wildmutt arms, letting him get an opening to deliver two strong blows with his upper arms that sent her deep into a part of the bridge's tower.

"Burn!" Kevin roared, about to fire flames from his arm before grunting as Tsubaki slashed into his back, "Gah! You annoying little…! What kinda blade is that?!"

"Excalibur," Tsubaki simply replied before jumping out of the way of his tail slapping at her, "Kevin Ethan Levin, stand down this instant!"

"You middle name's Ethan?" Gwen asked.

"Hey! Sh-Shut up!" Kevin snapped as Gwen jumped out of the way of the crystal barrage he fired at her before throwing a blast of flames at Tsubaki that she cleaved in two, "And you! You shut up, too!"

"I don't think scolding him will work…He's spent his entire childhood feeling hated and feared even thinking his own mother hates him…" Maximilian spoke, "You can't get through to him with authority or logic as he is…"

"I really hope Noel and Lambda are having an easier time…" Tsubaki sighed.

"Hmmm…" the 10 year old Ben hummed as he exited the shop, "Wait, wha…it's night time…already!? I was only in there for like an hour!" he then slapped his head, "Right…cause of course time is still weird…" he then flinched and jumped when a black and purple armored figure pounced, "Okay, who the heck are…Eon?" he blinked, "But…I thought you were a dream…"

"Grr…So that's how the you of this dimension perceives me…just a dream…an adventure that never happened…" he growled, "But thankfully, I already know in this reality you don't have…an…Omnitrix?" he looked at his arm, "But…no that's not right!"

"Oh right this…wait did you send me back to the start of the summer?!" he shouted, "Gah…Gwen kept saying she knew something about that…but she never told me!"

"What are you…no this isn't how things should be!" Eon stepped back.

"Dude trust me nothing has been right since this summer road trip restarted from day 1!" he groaned, "But the one good thing is me and Gwen had that whole space trip to meet Azmuth earlier…his new student goofed and led me to this thing." he motioned to his Omnitrix, "Now things are even and all's right with the…AH! I forgot! Kevin! This is where I fought him in his mutant form!"

"No matter…this is merely a minor…Gah!" he cried as a laser struck his back, making him fall over to the ground.

"You set that to stun, right?" Noel blinked looking at Lambda.

"..." she looked at it, "Maybe…"

"Eh…I don't really care." Noel admitted before smiling at Ben, "Hi!"

"Uh…Hey?" Ben replied before letting out a yelp as Lambda hugged him, "Ah! Hey! Offa me, lady!"

"Ah…Very soft," Lambda noted before tilting her head on looking at the bulky device on his arm, "...Sister."

"Hm? That kinda looks like the Omnitrix," Noel noticed.

"It's called the Ultimatrix," Ben replied, "And I don't have the time for this! I gotta get to the bridge!"

"Why were you in this cafe all day then?" Lambda asked.

"I wasn't! I thought it was just an hour!" he explained, "I forgot today was the day Kevin mutates, but now it's night! If he gets blasted by that big laser cannon and falls off the bridge, I won't be able to find him again 'till we get abducted for that space gladiator thing!"

"Wait, you both what?" Noel blinked.

"No time to explain! Release me from this hug! I need to stop Kevin from getting blasted off the bridge or it all gets worse!" Ben explained, waving his arms around frantically.

"...I believe him." Lambda put him down, letting Ben breathe a sigh of relief, "Support."

"Support? Who even are you two?"

"Oh! Um…We're…kinda here to keep your Ultimatrix away from a multiversal dangerous alien that can warp reality itself," Noel explained.

"That is so cool…" he awed before an explosion went off at the bridge, "AH! No time!"

"We can explain it later with your Alternate Dimension Grandpa!" Lambda added.

"Wait, what-Gah!" he cried as she dragged him by his arm, "I'd like to remind you I'm 10!"

"Oh I'll just…oh dear…he's gone…" Noel looked down to see Eon vanished, "My Revenge shall be swift, you ba-oh wait. Child present. My Revenge shall we swift, you big hater of romance!" she called out as she ran after them.

A few moments passed before Eon stepped out of the shadows, looking around to make sure the two were gone.

"...tch….blast it. Why are they here?" Eon scowled behind his helmet, "They aren't even part of this timeline…unless…oh of course. The old man…thankfully…" he paused as a portal appeared next to him, "Their version of Ben 10 isn't with them…"

Tsubaki grunted lightly as she used her sword to block Kevin's Petrosapien arm, which took the form of a sharp blade. She then let it slide along the edge of her blade before she rammed the hilt of her sword into his face, making him grunt as he staggered back.

"Tch….why the heck can't I hit you?!" Kevin snapped as he tried to slam his fist down on the red head, only for her to sidestep the attack before jamming her sword's hilt into his gut, "Ooof!"

"Just someone who had the proper training," Tsubaki retorted as she jumped back, "If you were in better control of your own emotions, you could control your powers better."

"I don't need anyone to train me, lady!" Kevin argued, "All I want is payback on Gwen for turning me into this freak!"

"Again, not my fault!" Gwen shouted before Tsubaki held up a hand, "?"

"Let me handle this," she whispered to her before looking back at Kevin, "There's no need to resort to this violence, Kevin…you can be better than this."

"AS IF!"

"..." Tsubaki sighed a bit as she closed her eyes, "It's because of your step-father, isn't it?"

"?!"

"When a child lashes out on the world, it's usually due to trouble at home. Whether by abusive parents…or a step parent taking the place of the actual parent. In this case…your step father…in place of your actual father."

"Stop talking!" he launched a stream of fire at them, which ignited into a large explosion, "You don't know anything about me!" he growled, only to blink as the smoke cleared, making him look up at green eyes looking down at him, "Wha…what alien?"

"Sorry Kevin…" a voice spoke as the smoke revealed…Humungousaur, "But I can't let you get away this time." he growled as he charged forward and tackled Kevin down, "Just listen to me!" he roared, holding his arms down, "You're not a bad guy…but if you don't stop here…things are going to get worse!"

"G-Gwen?" Tsubaki blinked, turning behind to see her still there, "If you're here then…is that?"

"Ben," Gwen sighed in relief.

"Get…off me, Tennyson!" Kevin snapped as he tried to force Humungousaur off him.

"No! I won't let this happen to you again!" he growled, pushing him down, "You're scared…I get it…but believe me I'm scared a lot of days, too…but if you keep playing the monster…that's all you'll ever be!"

"Again?" Tsubaki whispered to Gwen.

"I don't fully get it myself," Gwen softly replied, "All I can understand is that he somehow reset to the start of this summer with memories of a summer where he had the Omnitrix."

"I…I see," Tsubaki nodded, "Hopefully it doesn't involve a Chronosapien. They try to stay as far away from myself and a few others in our universe as possible."

"Huh?" Gwen blinked at that, "Other universes?"

"It's…complicated…"

"GRAH!" Kevin snapped as he threw Humungousaur off him, "Oh I'll show complicated, lady...by shoving that stupid sword down y-" he began before one of Lambda's flails wrapped around one of his arms, "?!"

"No," was all the Murakumo unit said as she reeled her weapon back, sending Kevin flying up as she quickly turned and slammed him back into the hard floor face first.

"Gh! Oh you little…!" Kevin began as he got up...only to be sat on suddenly by Funkfreed, "GH! Where'd the elephant come from?!"

"That might hold him…his powers are only One Tenth of what they are," Humungousaur muttered, "But just to be safe, find Steel and tell him to not blast Kevin off the Bridge…otherwise…we lose him 'till he chooses to come back…"

"Oh, I'll come back alright!" Kevin snapped as he struggled to free himself, "Just as soon...as I…grr! Why is this stupid elephant so heavy!?"

"Paon…" Funkfreed frowned before flicking Kevin on the forehead with his truck.

"Ow!"

"Funkfreed doesn't like being called that," Noel explained, petting the Elephant-Sword's side.

"Guys…Steel has a giant anti-alien laser aimed up here! And right now me, Kevin, and the magic elephant are prime targets!" Humungousaur pointed out.

"Ah…" the girls all blinked on hearing that.

"That sonuva…" Tsubaki muttered, looking down to see the laser in question held by two soldiers, "Ben, this form is well and good, but we could really use one that can make others intangible and fly like Big Chill."

"Hey, how'd you know that one? I only figured that one out two days ago," Humungousaur replied.

"Other dimension, Doofus," Gwen sighed.

"Grr…but I like Humungousaur…" he grumbled, "Besides I don't even think Big Chill does that…" he tapped the Ultimatrix as he shrank down to Big Chill, he looked at his arms before going intangible and putting them on Kevin as they began phasing down, "Oh hey I can… See ya at the Rustbucket!" he laughed, flying off with Kevin.

"Did…did he just…" Noel blinked.

"Guess he fiddled enough to figure out how to change with a tap of the emblem," Tsubaki noted before looking at Gwen, "Now for you." she tapped the emblem as a teal flash went off, replacing the Tetramand with an 11-year-old Gwen.

"Aw~! You look as cute as the last one we met," Noel cooed as Gwen looked herself over in surprise.

"How did you…?" Gwen began to ask.

"Our Ben taught our team how to do that incase of one of his aliens going berserk and we need him to snap out of it and Makoto isn't there with her remote," Tsubaki explained.

"...Ben taught you how?" Gwen raised a brow.

"Our version," Lambda replied, "Much older. Less doofy."

"No more aliens up here," Tsubaki noted, "Funkfreed?"

"Paon!" Funkfreed saluted before moving Noel and turned into his sword form that shd sheathed into her scabbard.

"Good. Now let's head down, ok?" Tsubaki spoke.

"Good idea…" Lambda spoke, "Too much attention."

"Huh…That is a weird design for the mascot," Mai muttered, looking up at the sign for the smoothie joint from her table, an undrank ordered smoothie before her before she spotted No Watch Ben approaching the order window.

"Hey, Ben," the worker greeted.

"Hey, Tom."

"Your usual?"

"Mmm…Nah. Feeling something's different today," No Watch Ben replied, "Make it an orange, grapefruit, apple, marshmallow, and pear smoothie with a dash of passionfruit and mint with three shots of chocolate and one shot of caramel."

"Alright. One Annoying Kitchen Smoothie coming right up," Tom replied.

'Yep…This is Ben Tennyson alright…' Mai thought with a drop of sweat going down the back of her head before blinking a few times when No Watch Ben walked over to her.

"Mind if I sit here?" Ben asked.

"Uh, n-no. Go on ahead," Mai assured.

"Thanks," Ben smiled a bit as he sat down, "So…you new in town?"

"I'm passing through with some friends of mine, a sort of road trip." Mai explained, "We all decided to do our own things for a bit before we head out…and by that my friends who are a couple probably wanted some alone time."

"Ahh…fair enough," Ben shrugged, "Been a long time since I last went on a road trip. Anyplace you're hoping to see before your trip's over?"

"Eh, hoping to check Mt. Rushmore," Mai replied, "Always heard of it, but never seen the real thing."

"Good spot," Ben noted, "Heard it's got a good gift shop too lately."

"I hope it has little plush animals. A pair of sisters I'm friends with love those," Mai shook her head, "Oh, how rude of me. Name's Mai, Mai Natsume."

"Ben. Ben Tennyson.""

"Oh, nice to meet you, Ben-Ben Tennyson," Mai joked, earning a chuckle from Ben.

"Classic," Ben complimented before noticing her undrank smoothie, "You gonna drink that?"

"Hm? Oh, no. You're welcome to it. I was born with an overly sensitive tongue and I could only sit here if I purchased a drink," Mai explained.

"Wow. That sucks," Ben noted.

"I'm used to it." she sighed, "I have a friend who makes stuff I love to eat, and can actually eat."

"Oh, that's good to hear," Ben nodded, "And thanks for the drink." he took a sip, "Huh…Not too bad a flavor. Mango with spinach, strawberries, and a dollop of chocolate."

"Wow. You're good at that, huh?"

"I come often enough," Ben shrugged, "You should see me on the soccer field."

"Local hero on the field?" Mai asked.

"Yup," Ben grinned.

"Well, hope I'll be able to see you play before we head on out," Mai noted.

"Thanks," Ben said as he got up, "See you around then,"

"See ya," Mai waved as Ben walked off, sipping away at his smoothy, "Well so far…"

"AH!" Ben screamed as he backed away from something, "Wha…who…what are you?" he backed up as…another Ben walked out, but something was off. His hair was jet black and his eyes a darker shade of green, almost mint in shade.

"Well…I'm you." he held up the same second Omnitrix, as it had the same mint green color, he then slapped it as he morphed into Ghostfreak, but unlike the version Ben of her world had, he had no chains or restraints. "Boo~" he laughed as No Watch Ben panicked and ran.

"An Evil Ben?" Mai blinked as No Watch Ben kept running.

"Come back here, Ben~ I just want to have an open dialogue…and by that I mean I want to invade your mind to find the Omnitrix!" Ghostfreak laughed.

"An unbound Ghostfreak…That's not good," Mai gasped as she pulled out her Badge, "Ben…Ben, are you there?"

=Busy freeing a dragon…again= Humungousaur's voice growled amongst laser fire.

"Ben, a Bad Ben is here…and his Ghostfreak isn't chained up."

=Well…I mean…that could mean any number of things…he's not shedding his skin is he?=

"Hahahaha!" Ghostfreak laughed as his skin opened up to reveal his true form before he summoned his tentacles to grab No Watch Ben, "Oh what's the matter Ben…you look like you've seen a ghost!" he cackled, spinning him around and tossing him into a dumpster, "Hahahaha!"

"..."

=He just shed his skin, didn't he?=

"Eeyup."

=Right, right. Go provide backup. I'll call Grandpa of this universe and I'll finish up here= Humungousaur replied before his voice switched to Rath =LEMME TELL YA SOMETHIN', FOREVER KNIGHTS OF ANOTHER UNIVERSE! RATH WILL DESTROY YOU AND FREE THE DRAGON!=

"..." Mai checked her pockets and pulled out a sticker of Jack Fenton's grinning face, "Thank the Celestialsapiens that Plumbers made a business contract with Fenton Works on Anti-Spectral tech." She donned her suit and attached the sticker to her spear, causing the blade to glow a soft green, "Really wish they'd go with something other then Mr. Fenton's face…"

"Oh please…" Ghostfreak chuckled as he taunted while he looked at her, "What's your little toothpick gonna do? It can't hit.." he began before Mai's spear tore straight through his tentacles, "GYAAAAH~!"

"Hmph. Anti-Ghost Tech," Mai smirked, converting her spear into its anchor mode and swung it hard into Ghostfreak's face, sending him sailing over a building across the street before turning to the dumpster, "Hey, you alright in there?"

Ben poked his head out, a banana peel on his head, "What was that?! Th-That was another me…with an Omnitrix and he turned into Ghostfreak?!"

"Yep," Mai replied as she helped him out, "And we should really run. I didn't think of bringing one of the Fenton Thermoses we keep on-hand at the base."

"Huh? B-Base? Fenton Thermos?" Ben repeated as Mai grabbed his wrist and pulled him along.

"Is Gwen still here in Bellwood?"

"You know Gwen?"

"A Gwen. Multiverse troubles. Will talk when we find her and get her to cast a Ghost-repelling barrier," Mai informed.

"I am…what…" he was suddenly pulled, "You are crazy strong!"

"Trust me! The other you's girlfriend is even stronger than me!"

"I have a girlfriend?!" Ben gawked as he looked ahead, "Take a right then go straight three blocks. She'll be finishing up her judo lessons by the time we get there."

"RRRRAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHH!-!-!"

"And that's our cue to speed it up!" Mai yelped.

"Thank you, Coach, for making the Track Team and Soccer Team train together!" Ben thanked as he and Mai picked up the pace.

"GET BACK HERE, BITCH!"

"27!" Mai called.

"What?" Ben looked at her.

"Sorry, sorry. Reflex on how to taunt enemies. You call out the number on the mental list of insults you get called or threats dealt to you," Mai explained, "Other you-not the one chasing us-taught me it."

"...yeah, sounds like something I'd come up with in my earlier years…" Ben nodded before flinching as a mint-green beam barely missed them, "Whoa now! That's new!"

"Not so much as 'new' as 'he never showed you it,'" Mai replied as they turned right at the corner and barely avoided the thrown car, "Like the telepathy!"

"The dojo she trains at is just ahead! Please let her have her spellbook…" Ben begged.

"RAAAAAGH!" Ghostfreak roared as he turned the corner, "FOUND YOU!"

"AH!" Ben panicked.

"Oh come on…Why is he so good with Ghostfreak!?" Mai yelped, shifting her weapon to spear mode and throwing it at Ghostfreak.

"Missed!" Ghostfreak hissed.

"Did I?" Mai smirked.

"Wha…?" he began before screaming as her spear ripped through his other shoulder, "GRAH?! How did you…?!"

"I don't owe you an explanation; this isn't a cartoon!" Mai shouted, dragging Ben again.

"Then I'll rip it out of your mind!" Ghostfreak roared as he flew at them as fast as he could, his claws nearly upon them when…

"Clypeus Contra Spiritus!"

Ghostfreak rammed right into a magenta barrier, looking as if it were made of screaming spirits. The two looked at Ghostfreak and the barrier before looking behind them to see Gwen approach, her eyes and right hand glowing magenta while wearing a black vest over a red button shirt and black skirt with stockings. Mai sighed in relief before squeaking when Gwen looked at her with a sharp look.

"Oh you are just as intimidating as the Gwen of my world…" Mai muttered.

"Ben…What is happening?" Gwen asked, making the barrier cover Ghostfreak in a sphere.

"Okay? That guy?" Ben pointed at Ghostfreak, "That's me of another universe who's after my Omnitrix that I got off when I was eleven. This lady is from one different from his and there's a third Ben here with another Omnitrix and I am all kinds of lost at the moment!"

"Any chance you're good with teleportation spells?" Mai asked, "Your grandpa knows the situation and could better explain at his RV." she jumped as Ghostfreak raked his claws against the barrier while Gwen flinched, "Preferably now over later?"

"Bet you didn't know, Gwen…but Ectonurites…don't have any mana…so…this…is just annoying!" Ghostfreak growled, ripping his claws through the barrier and slowly ripping it apart.

"Gh!" Gwen tensed, "A-Abaeo Exorior!"

Ghostfreak reached for the trio when a dome of mana engulfed the trio. Their images flickered inside of it before vanishing with the dome. Ghostfreak snarled, turning and slashing a lightpost, sending it crashing down to the ground before changing back to the bad Ben.

"I forgot how much of a nuisance she is," he growled.

"Ah…I am not used to magical teleportation…" Mai groaned, "I weirdly miss Groundbridge portals now…" she caught Gwen as she nearly fell over, "Taxing?"

"Very…" Gwen groaned.

"Huh…Neat car," Ben noted, looking at the green car by the RV.

"Believe it or not, that's your...well…my Ben's car," Mai replied, "...Well, technically, it belonged to another Ben, but my Ben is using it because of someone having sent that other Ben and…know what? Probably best to wait for the good other you to show up."

"Yeah…I was losing track of that…" both cousins muttered.

"Eh, you get used to it." XLR8 shrugged, startling both as they turned to see him, "Hiya~"

"We just got here!" Makoto smiled, leaning against XLR8, "It took us a while to get that grumpy dragon to leave…we had to practically shove him into his spaceship. But bringing up his little hatchling got him to leave real fast."

"I did get to do something I forgot to when I faced him in my dimension, though," XLR8 chuckled before tapping the Omnitrix and returning to normal as he looked at a new icon on his selection wheel, "Hello literal new firepower~"

Makoto cackled gleefully while rubbing her hands together, "Oh-hoh-hoh~! The looks on the faces of our enemies when they first witness him~!"

"Makoto Acornia Nanaya!" Mai barked.

"Right, right!" Makoto yelped, standing at attention.

"I am so sorry for these two," Mai apologized, "Gwen, Ben of this dimension, these are the Ben of my universe and his girlfriend and my friend Makoto Nanaya." she sniffed the air, "Now if you'll excuse me, your Grandpa made Xenocuisine Stir Fry and I am starving after being terrified by Ghostfreak unleashed."

"Yeah, she can only eat food like what your Grandpa makes…" Makoto sighed, noting the looks on the cousins' faces at the idea of someone liking his food.

"She actually has a sort of tactile telekinesis with her tongue," Ben explained, "It means she tastes the intent of the cook…rather than the flavor of the food. Trust me. If I explained everything, we'd be here all evening…but first and foremost…we need to get you…" he pointed to No Watch Ben, "Home and get that Omnitrix slapped back on your arm."

"How did you know I hid it in my closet?" No Watch Ben asked.

"I'm you two years from now in another dimension," Ben explained, "And I know…so far life's been good; but in my dimension, an alien invasion made me get back into action. And after that invasion…Vilgax comes back…Ten times stronger than the last time you saw him."

"And Ben was a jerk!" Makoto added.

"Makoto~!" Ben whined.

"Hey, just warning younger you," Makoto shrugged, "You guys build up ego easily and take a long time to diffuse. How long did it take you to regain Azmuth's trust after breaking the previous model?"

"...Get in the RV…" both Bens frowned.

"Victory~" Makoto grinned a squirrely grin as she skipped off into the RV.

"You are so lucky I love and depend on you!" Ben called out with a slight chuckle, "But…yeah." he looked at the two, "Before you ask, yes you go to a great college. No, I won't tell you how or when aside from our family being proud of you." he sighed.

"Told ya," No Watch Ben smiled, "You stress too much."

"Anyway," Ben slapped the Omnitrix, turning back into XLR8, "No time to talk. We go home, you get Watch!" he grabbed No Watch Ben and ran off at top speed. After a few moments, they skidded back with XLR8 holding the deactivated Omnitrix, "You know I miss this classic look…" he mused as he handed it to No Watch Ben, "Done!" he cheered, raising his arms up.

"Excelsior!" Skurd cheered.

"What the?!" Gwen gawked.

"This is Skurd. He is stuck to my watch because he likes the DNA in it. He's a troll more often than not, but he's also got his good times."

"Wait, seriously?" No Watch Ben asked.

"Can't you just scare him off?" Gwen asked.

"Well sure…but this world needs Ben 10, too," he pointed out, "What are you going to do when Vilgax comes back?" he asked, "You're not gonna get the hang of this right away…and who knows what aliens you'll even get. Plus I doubt that Gwen has done any Anodite training with Grandma…oops…"

"Grandma's alive!?" the two cousins shouted.

"Ah…" Max groaned.

"Hey, I learned the hard way after she blasted me!" XLR8 complained, "That and I thought you were dead at the time when you overloaded a Null Voice projector into a hand grenade! Oh right…" he recalled, "Animo's in the Null Voice and calling himself D'Void now and be careful of running into Phil."

"Why Phil?" No Watch Ben asked.

"If I said 'Malware,' you'd…"

"He's involved with Phil attacking me as some freaky mutant spider? But…isn't he…?"

"Not spider…Alien Predator…your aliens." XLR8 spoke, "And he'll be back, too…" he warned, "What then? I'm not here to take care of all the problems you're gonna face…I'm after bigger fish."

"Bingo," XLR8 replied, snapping his armored fingers and pointing at him, "Don't know if you have a certain comic company, but there is a good saying for the power of the Omnitrix: 'With great power comes great responsibility.' And you kinda have that great power."

"...I guess you're right," he muttered, "I have missed it."

"Who knows, maybe you'll handle the school and hero life balance better than I did." XLR8 sighed.

"You won't have a me there to help keep him in check, after all!" Makoto joked, poking her head out a window.

"Back in the RV, you!" XLR8 mock-scolded.

"Kay!" Makoto giggled, playfully sticking her tongue out as she did so.

"No, yeah. She's mine and mine only," XLR8 chuckled, "My dimension is weird, but who knows? Maybe yours will get weirder with time!"

"Ben 10K, right?" Maximilian asked, earning a nod, "Yeah, I've heard that often from younger Bens."

"So some Celestialsapien is after my grandkids because of the Omnitrix?" Max asked in concern.

"The life of a Tennyson is always a dangerous one," Maximilian replied, "But hopefully, this is one time it won't be that dangerous for our grandkids."

"I'm still in disbelief about the Albedo here. From the stories and reports I've heard and read…" Tsubaki frowned.

"He's a big jerk." Noel summed up, "Our Ben often points out how petty he was."

"Well now I have his watch," Ben grinned as he held up his Ultimatrix.

"...Oh! Is that…the Ultimatrix?" Tsubaki asked in surprise.

"That's what he called it," Ben replied.

"Oh! Our Ben-san has told us so many stories about it!" Noel recalled before smiling as she patted Funkfreed, who was sitting beside the outdoor table they were at and eating a watermelon, "If we didn't chase a thief that took it, I wouldn't have met Funkfreed nor La-chan getting Bluey."

"Bluey?" Gwen asked.

"Ah…My Blupee," Lambda smiled, pulling out her phone and pulling up a picture of Bluey…wearing a fedora.

"Oh~! It's so cute!" Gwen awed.

"Whoa~! What kinda phone is that?" Ben asked.

"iPhone 5S," Lambda replied.

"Oh dear…is this…a different year?" Noel asked.

"...excuse me, what year is this specifically?" Tsubaki cautiously asked Grandpa Max.

"2005," Max replied.

"...Noel, Lambda…put the phones away."

"Eh?" the two sisters blinked.

"BUTTERFLY EFFECT!" Tsubaki barked.

"Ahh!" Noel yelped as Lambda quickly put her phone away.

"Aw~" both kids whined.

"Eh, if it was a problem, Paradox would pop in," Maximilian sighed.

"Who?" Ben asked.

"Oh you'll meet him when you're fifteen, Kiddo. Probably take you on a very dangerous time adventure. With time monsters, time beasts, and the fate of reality in the balance, yada-yada" he chuckled.

"Nice…" Ben smiled.

"Oh come now, dear Maximilian. It wasn't always those three things. Often it was because the younger Benjamin someone ended up being dragged into the future by pure happenstance," a youthful-looking woman with shoulder-length black hair in Paradox's coat, a blue cardigan over a white button shirt, and blue slacks noted, sitting beside Gwen.

"Ah!" Noel yelped, jumping and landing in Funkfreed's trunk.

"Ahh!" Gwen yelped as she and Ben quickly backed away.

"Who are you, lady?!" Ben snapped.

"Oh come now. It should've been obvious given how Maximillian mentioned my name," the woman stated with an amused smile.

"...Paradox of this world?" Lambda guessed.

"As genius as always, you adorable songstress, you," she giggled, petting her head before offering a bag, "Mystery flavored gumball?"

"Please," Lambda replied as she accepted one and chewed it, "...Mmm. Cotton candy. Thank you."

"Oh I wish I understood the multiverse…" Tsubaki groaned.

"You get used to it, kids," Maximilian sighed as he tested his arm's form changing ability, "So was this them causing a time travel no no…or are you here because we lost Eon?"

"Mmm…little of A…mostly B…" she giggled sheepishly, "Honestly, these two knowing about smartphones doesn't change much…no one will believe them for another…two years. They'll have to wait a few more years after that for it to become affordable." she then looked at them all, "But truly, Eon has been quite the naughty young man taking opportunities with this dilemma."

"He trapped the adorable little Ben in a comic book shop all day," Lambda pointed out.

"See! It wasn't my fault!" Ben shouted at Gwen, he then spun round and pointed at Lambda, "I am not adorable or little!"

"You are to me…" she pointed out, patting his head.

"Mmm…!"

Paradox giggled, "Ah, you are quite adorable and little at this time. Give it a few years, Benjamin." she then frowned, "Now, it's imperative to capture Eon before things are made worse."

"Like him freeing Kevin there?" Tsubaki asked, gesturing to a grumbling mutated Kevin wrapped up in a few I-Beams with a sutra slapped on his forehead, "Are you ready to talk, Kevin?"

"Bite me, crazy lady!"

"Normally, I'd be against altering certain events, but I do like you changing this bit," Paradox complimented Ben, patting his head.

"Well…we kinda became friends the first time, and when we got stuck in the space gladiator arena, we were partners," Ben pointed out, "There's a good Kevin in there…but the crazy Kevin keeps taking control."

"Sir…" Tsubaki spoke up as she elbowed this world's Grandpa Max, "Maybe it's time you told them your connection to the Levin family?"

"Wait, what?" Ben and Gwen blinked at that as they looked at their grandfather.

"Oh hey, they know everything," Maximilian spoke up to his Alternate self, "Their Ben told them all the family secrets…that…he had to learn the hard way…"

"...Even…"

"Yep. Our Stellar Gal, too," Maximilian nodded.

"You probably should tell them that one sooner…" Noel muttered as she leaned close, "She comes back for a visit…." she whispered.

"?!"

"Really, Grandpa?! More secrets?! I didn't tell Gwen about your Alien girlfriend!" Ben snapped.

"What?!" Gwen shouted.

"Eeeh…" Ben cringed, "How do you think I knew how to unlock Upchuck?"

"You know, you could excel at school if you used that photographic memory of yours better," Tsubaki sighed.

"Eh, school's boring," Ben shrugged.

"Wait, he has a what?" Gwen asked.

"Ben…how many amazing things can you actually do?" Max asked.

"I dunno…" Ben shrugged, "I'm 10…Why does everyone expect me to act like an adult all the time?"

"He makes a good point…" Lambda muttered, "Give him five more years to be a kid, then have the real important stuff come. That's how it worked with our Ben and he's saved the Galaxy then the Universe itself."

Paradox giggled at that, "And this is why I told your Paradox why Lambda is my favorite of you girls when we all had to deal with that multi-temporal crisis."

"I like these ladies; they agree with me," Ben smiled before he pointed to his Grandfather, "Alright, Grandpa, no more secrets. What do you know about Kevin? And then after that whatever this talk about Grandma is…or so help me, I'm calling my dad and telling him everything! And you know Mom will make both you and him go to therapy together!"

"Mrs. Tennyson's willpower is amazing…" Noel admitted, "You will lose that one…"

"..." Lambda looked to Paradox, who nodded, before turning to Max, "She even befriends the scariest mother in the galaxy."

"Ma Vreedle is friends with Sandra?" Max paled.

"D-Don't remind me…" Maximilian shuddered.

"...We are having Thanksgiving with her…" Tsubaki spoke with a look of sheer terror.

"We?!" Noel panicked.

"...I knew I forgot to tell you something," Tsubaki muttered.

"...Any chance I could use that smartphone thingy to call Mom?" Ben asked.

"Wouldn't work. No satellites and towers set up yet," Lambda replied, but she then pointed to a payphone, "But that should work." she produced some change, "Go nuts."

"Ah, no wait! I'll talk, I'll talk!" Max panicked.

"..." Lambda held up her phone and flicked it…making a whipping sound effect go off.

"La-chan?!" Noel gawked.

"Mrs. Tennyson taught me," Lambda smiled.

"Alright…I…knew Kevin's father…" Max sighed.

"What?" Ben and Gwen gawked as Kevin paused in his struggling.

"Wait…WHAT!?" Kevin shouted after processing that.

"Let the best grandfather speak," Lambda scolded.

"The you of their dimension has more or less taken all of them in as his own," Maximilian chuckled.

"Well…where do I begin? …Kevin's father…my friend and former partner as a Plumber…was an alien known as an Osmosian by name of Devin, and…he was a great man," Max began as he told them his story of a man named Devin Levin.

"No…" XLR8 sighed as the Ben of this world was pestering him with question after question.

"Allow me, Benjamin," Skurd spoke…before growing Rath's arm, picking the Ben formerly known as 'No Watch' up and put him away from XLR8 and then pointing at him with the pointer finger, "No spoilers."

"Oh come on…you can't tell me so I can plan for them?" Ben asked.

"I warned you about Vilgax! That should be enough. 'Cause trust me…he will return!" XLR8 declared.

"But when!? If he's gonna come back, I need a gameplan!"

"Just don't break the Omnitrix!" he snapped, "All you need to know is I beat him with a classic!"

"Which one?!" Ben snapped, "I looked through the list on here and spoilers: None of my original guys are in here!"

"I told you it was a new roster…" he groaned before grabbing his arm, "Hang on, let me fix this..." he twisted the dial rapidly before one of the holograms changed to a different one, "Much more useful. Trust me. That tenth guy was bogus and no good. This is Lodestar and much more useful."

"...This feels like that time trip future Gwen pulled on me and Gwen," Ben noted.

"Huh? When we first met our future self?"

"Remember what alien he spent the majority of his time as?"

"..." XLR8 grimaced, "Why you gotta remind me of that? It kills XLR8 for me." he groaned.

"You and me both," Ben admitted as XLR8 tapped his emblem and swapped for Fasttrack, "Huh…Neat new form."

"You'll unlock him eventually," Fasttrack replied as Makoto hopped out, suited up, "What's going on, Makoto?"

"Don't you remember?" Makoto asked, "The raid on the arms deal tonight? Most likely where our bad Ben is gonna show up?"

"Wait. Why would evil me target a raid on an arms deal?" Ben asked.

"..." the two shared looks before giving Ben the look.

"...Oh, I'm supposed to help with it, aren't I?"

"You and Gwen, actually," Fasttrack confirmed.

"Of course…" Ben sighed.

"Hey, you've got this," Makoto assured, patting his shoulder, "You guys handle the raid and we've got Mint Ben."

"...You did not just call our evil self 'Mint Ben,'" Ben deadpanned.

"Makoto, babe, that was bad, even for us," Fasttrack groaned.

"Oh come on. What do we call him…Bad Ben…oh my sweet Ben-kun…that is extra boring," Makoto sighed.

"Considering how Mai explained how Ghostfreak was unrestrained…why not Ben Freak?" Skurd asked.

"...That…" Fasttrack began before shaking his head, "We'll come up with something."

"...You know…he's kinda right about Ghostfreak," Ben noted, frowning in thought, "I've never used him without keeping his skin on and even then it felt…off. Like he was biding his time to try to take over me. Do you think he's a Ben…where Ghostfreak won?"

"We'll figure it out," Fastrack sighed.

"And in case he goes Ghostfreak again, I've got the Thermos," Makoto grinned, pulling out the Fenton Thermos.

"Seriously, what's with the thermos?" Ben asked, "Mai mentioned it before."

"It sucks up and stores ghosts inside of it for later disposal," Fasttrack explained, "And how long have you been carrying that?!"

"...Since our first visit to Amity Park," Makoto replied, "...What? You know ghosts spook me!"

"My ribs and Mai can attest to knowing that," Fasttrack admitted.

"Makoto, you better not be thinking about it!" Mai shouted from offscreen, "Also you had that on you?! I could've used that earlier!"

"I didn't think we'd run into an evil version of my boyfriend who likes turning into a ghost!" Makoto argued.

"You couldn't tell me when I was panicking?!"

"I was riding on a dragon! I was a little distracted!" Makoto shouted.

"I can see why the me of your universe took you kids in," Max chuckled, wearing his Plumbers uniform, "You've got the spark of a Tennyson in you all."

"It's why everyone calls you Grandpa…well while off duty…sometimes during work hours, but then again you gave us a home, jobs, purpose…you're everyone's Grandpa," Makoto smiled, "Also arguably a better father figure for some of us…"

"You kids sure you've got our wayward Ben while we handle the raid with Labrid?" Max asked, "He may be bad, but he's still a Ben."

"We've got it handled, sir," Makoto saluted, all signs of the jokester replaced with a woman on duty, "This raid is an important event and we will do all we can to not interfere nor allow this alternate villainous Ben Tennyson to interfere." she then pulled out a baseball bat with Jack Fenton's stick on it, "I will even resort to the Fenton Anti-Creep Stick to make sure."

"Th-The what?" Ben asked, trying not to laugh.

"...Makoto, we are going through your tail and making a list of everything you have in there one day," Fasttrack deadpanned.

"What…I know everything in here!" Makoto defended.

"So if I reach into your tail I won't find something totally random?" he asked.

"Nope!" Makoto declared before Fasttrack reached in and pulled out a half-eaten burrito, "...Two out of three."

"You realize you gotta stop saving snacks for later…" he sighed.

"That is the single most awful thing you've ever said to me intentionally…" Makoto stated with a deadpan expression.

"I'll buy you a minifridge for your room…" he groaned.

"And now you're back to good with me!" Makoto beamed as Max covered his mouth to try to muffle his laughter.

"Yeah…they are that in love with each other," Mai sighed with a smile.

"Aw~" Gwen smiled, "That's adorable."

"We were pretty argumentative at first when we met, but we also got to know each over over time thanks to living with one another," Fasttrack explained.

"You live together?"

"Have since we met. Didn't have a place to stay so Ben-kun let me stay at his and his parents' house. Second day and I got to see what they do when the power's out," Makoto grinned.

"Still annoyed we burned breakfast," Fasttrack sighed, shaking his head.

"...Wait, did you use Heatblast to make breakfast?" Ben asked.

"Eh, I like to use my aliens for practical uses as a way to train myself," Fasttrack shrugged, "Like using duplicating aliens like Ditto and Echo-Echo to do all the chores in the house in a day, Wildvine and Swampfire for gardening, or Water Hazard or Overflow with watering the plants or cleaning dishes."

"As an aged caracal once said: 'In daily life, there is training,'" Makoto grinned.

"Using my aliens to do chores? Huh…That tended to backfire when we were ten," Ben recalled, "Ever use Heatblast to start a campfire?"

"Yep. And then caused a fire in a tree when I tried to hide because Grandpa said 'no aliens.' Still managed to figure out how to start a fire without going alien, but didn't get a single marshmallow," Fasttrack sighed, "But we're wasting time. You get going on that raid and we'll be doing a perimeter sweep for the bad Ben."

"Right…" Ben muttered, "But I don't…"

"Don't worry, now that it's recalibrated, it works properly." Fastrack explained.

"What's huh?"

"The Omnitrix is supposed to teach you how aliens work when you turn into them," he explained, "When we used it as a kid, it was glitching and not working properly."

"So that's why Ben could never control his powers…" Gwen realized.

"I could…"

"No, we couldn't…" Fasttrack replied, "But now, you'll be well prepared for using the aliens you have. So go out there, kick everyone's behind, and remind folks just why you're one of the few people in the universe that can kick Vilgax's butt six ways to Sunday at the age of ten. Oh, and if you happen to see a green and black muscle car, that looks like someone spent way too long on it? Use it as a weapon."

"Huh? Why would I…?"

"Trust me. It's cathartic using that specific car as a shield, club, or battering ram," Fasttrack chuckled, "And no worries. The Engine block in it is indestructible so the owner can always repair the thing."

"Um…Sure?"

"You are such a bad influence on your younger selves, Ben," Mai sighed.

"Hey…technically we are all Ben…He would have come to the conclusion on his own~. I just gently nudged him towards the right path," Fasttrack chuckled, "Now let's move out."

"I drive!" Makoto declared, already in the driver's seat of Ben's car.

"Huh, what?! But I…" Fasttrack began before chuckling, "...You are one sneaky girlfriend."

"She's your girlfriend," Mai giggled, "Oh, Ben?"

"Yes?" both replied.

"My Ben," Mai corrected.

"What's up?" Fasttrack asked.

"Shotgun."

"Shotg-Oh you suck," Fasttrack frowned.

"Hey, Grandpa Max gave us and the others a second job of being your ego diffuser!" Makoto replied as Mai got into the passenger seat.

"...Prank War after we get that Evil X," Fasttrack swore, "A Prank War comes upon you unlike any other."

"I accept the declaration as current Queen of Pranks!" Makoto declared.

"Just so you know, I'll enjoy waiting for you to start the car without keys…or an Omnitrix." He smirked.

"Eh, sure," Makoto replied, "Hey, Ben of this universe, you collect Sumo Slammers right?"

"Of course I do," Ben replied.

"Mind coming over here real quick? Forgot I had an unopened pack in my tail," Makoto replied, "Apparently, it's meant to have a copy of this platinum card my Ben has."

"Seriously?!" Ben asked as he walked over and yelped when she pulled his arm in and turned on the car before releasing it with the pack, "Ah! Seriously?! …Huh, neat! This doesn't come out for two more years! The internet forums are going to be flipping their lids on 'fake' rumors from me."

"She always gets me with the Sumo Slammers…" Fasttrack groaned, facepalming, "At least when she uses them for pranks, she makes sure they're protected from the pranks."

"I drive!" Makoto cheered while taking off, Mai struggling to get the seatbelt on as they vanished down the road.

"If I'm allowed to keep that, she's gonna crash it in a week…" Fasttrack sighed, running after them.

"Not as bad as the last time I met a future me," Ben noted before looking at his Omnitrix, "Well…time to go Hero again, huh?"

"I guess so," Gwen muttered as she walked up next to him.

"...and by the time I was able to find where you and your mother had moved to, you had already vanished after blowing up the living room and caused the kitchen to collapse," Max finished, "Your mother's alright, just a small amount of bruises but she was more worried about you."

"...and what about my step father?" Kevin asked, his head hanging low as he frowned, "Did he hire you guys to take me in?"

"No. To be honest…I may have lost my composure after hearing just what led to the explosion," Max sheepishly scratched his cheek.

"Last time I spoke to your step father from my universe, he finally finished paying off the dental bill for those replacement teeth from the right hook," Maximilian chuckled.

"They're not even twelve," Max deadpanned at his counterpart.

"And yet, two have dealt with Vilgax and one's more than likely knocked a few teeth out of someone already," Maximilian pointed out.

"..." Kevin kept his head low.

"I should also tell you…after you vanished…your Mother separated from your Step-Father. She blamed herself…and him…for your leaving. She is waiting for you to come home," Max explained, "She misses you…"

"..." Kevin looked at his mutated limbs.

"He needs a small push, it seems," Paradox whispered, sitting between Noel and Tsubaki.

"Dude," Ben spoke up, getting his attention, "You gotta go home."

"Look at me, Tennyson…now I really am a Monster…"

"No…you're a jerk…" Ben sighed, "But…you can stop being a Monster. You turned back to normal after burning up all the alien power before. What makes this time any different?"

"..."

"Huh…That is a good question. When we found you and Ben back then while you were part Heatblast, you changed back to normal while you were using their power," Gwen recalled, "Maybe you need to exhaust it all, let it all out in an empty environment and you'll go back to being…not this."

"We can't fit you like this into the Rustbucket." Ben pointed out, "We gotta find some way to get you back to normal." he smiled.

"Well, how am I supposed to do that? It's not like there's anything that can take a pounding from all this freaky power…" Kevin began before a green flash made him flinch as Humungousaur stood before him.

"Oh I don't know…I think I can handle all that ugly." he smirked, cracking his knuckles, "I mean you just gotta use it up on something…why not settle the score…then we take you home to your mom? Who knows…maybe you can gloat that you beat me…but…not likely~"

"I don't mind lending a hand or ten," Gwen added, "Maybe against the two of us, you'll burn it out faster."

"Alright…let's settle this!" Kevin grunted, only to end up falling face first into the ground, "Uh…can you let me out first?" He noted the metal I-Beams acting as restraints.

"Aw…I love when things end on a happy note," Noel smiled.

"World safe?" Lambda asked Maximilian and Paradox.

"Not yet," Paradox sighed, "There's still the business with Eon…" she tapped her cheek in thought before smiling, "Which this situation would more than likely earn his attention with."

"...trap for him?" Lambda guessed.

"Considering how things are going, he expects things to play out the same way," she mused before looking at Kevin, "But…there's something here he wouldn't expect…"

"...?" Kevin turned around, "What?"

"She means you, doofus…" Humungousaur sighed.

"Shut up!" Kevin elbowed him…before the two began wrestling along the ground. "Wait…you're using me as a secret weapon?" he realized, "Why should I even fight this…?"

"Shut up and do it, dingus," Humungousaur pinned him to the ground, "You got anything better to do? Until we change you back to your old ugly self might as well use this power to beat up someone who has it coming!"

"...when do we start?"

"I guess most Bens are the same," Noel smiled.

"Dingus…but…good dingus," Lambda nodded.

"Um…T-To be fair, we know an older you where we're from…and he kinda is," Noel admitted before frowning, "I still haven't gotten him back for breaking a poor princess's heart all over a stupid engine block. Do you think on their next visit, I can practice dual wielding with Bolverk and Funkfreed on him?"

"Absolutely not," Tsubaki deadpanned.

"Aw/Paon…" Noel and Funkfreed whined.

"Told you you were a doofus!" Humungousaur laughed.

"Come here you!" Kevin lunged at him as they rolled along the ground.

"Our Kevin also fears Ben because he is…the Vehicle Destroyer~" Noel whispered to Gwen.

"Oh joy, that never changes, does it?" Gwen sighed.

"Sadly no," Lambda replied, "...Not even his own vehicles are exempt."

"He's just lucky to have Upgrade and Juryrigg to repair his bike all the time," Tsubaki sighed before whistling sharply, making Humungousaur and Kevin pause in their fighting with Kevin's Wildmutt arms pulling the Vaxasaurian's cheeks while Humungousaur has the chimera by his tail, "Save it for outside the city limits, you two. Then you can wallop one another to your hearts' content…while also being walloped by Gwen."

"Hey…" both spoke up in annoyance at that last bit.

"Noel, please give her your codes," Tsubaki ordered.

"E-Eh?!" Noel gawked before slumping.

"Codes? Like for Upchuck?" Gwen asked as Noel began to fiddle with Gwen's Omnitrix.

"A security measure on the off-chance Ben ends up resetting his Omnitrix and locking himself out of his aliens…again," Tsubaki explained, "Each of us was given ten codes to memorize. Noel was given the ones he calls 'The Heavy Hitters.'"

"Oh, that sounds awesome," Humungousaur whispered.

"Dude, she's giving them to your cousin," Kevin reminded.

"...Oh, we're in trouble," the Vaxasaurian paled.

"I don't like the ones I got…none of them are cute," Noel complained, puffing a cheek as she rotated the top of Omnitrix and getting a confirmation beep every few seconds, "They are all just big, ugly, and strong…Tsubaki got all the cute ones…"

"Knowing Ben, he probably trusts you more with these 'heavy hitters' because he knows you'd give them to him quick in an emergency," Max noted.

"She is pretty dependable and a good chef. She can actually make Atrocian cookies without having to be in the middle of a cesspool," Maximilian noted, Noel blushing at the praise.

"Oh, it's been ages since I last had one," Max recalled, "Lazy those Atrocians may be, but they make a mean desert."

"Huh…" Noel blinked a few times, "Did not expect those last ones to be unlockable. Guess they're a thing in this dimension."

"Wait, all of them worked?" Tsubaki asked, "...Oh sweet merciful chocolate deities…" she bowed to the two boys, "I am so sorry. It was just meant to only have a few of them to be unlockable."

"Oops…" Noel replied, "Uh…sorry?" she sheepishly shrugged.

"Oh you girls are just too amusing," Paradox giggled as she pulled out a stopwatch and clicked it, causing it to glow for a moment while everyone blinked…before jumping as the Rustbuckets and everyone was now outside of the city limits.

"Huh…These are all pretty neat," Gwen noted, looking at the ten new aliens added to her roster.

"Ben once thought it'd be a good idea to go into the desert near Bellwood and have all his land-based aliens go at it," Noel recalled, "It's how he got his 'Heavy Hitters' picked out." she pointed at the silhouette on Gwen's Omnitrix, "This one won with one punch to Way Big."

"Way Big?"

"Mountain-sized alien," Lambda informed.

"...An alien that can knock down Way Big with a punch?" Humungousaur gulped, "...Kevin, it was nice knowin' ya."

"This is gonna smart, ain't it?" Kevin asked as a blue light went off and an orange-furred female Cestus cracked her spiked knuckles while approaching the two, wearing a black armored bodysuit with magenta neon lights on the armored parts.

"I have been having quite a few stressful days since you got that Ultimatrix, Doofus, and today with being attacked by military men because they thought I, a girl, was doing all those stunts that a boy was going," the Echidna informed, "Now you face…" she looked at the girls, "What is this form's name?"

"Cestus," Lambda replied.

"Hmm…The glove used by Roman gladiators…fitting," she nodded before turning back to the boys as magenta electricity crackled off her while her eyes glowed, "Have at thee, Dingus and Doofus!"

"...Should we stop this?" Max asked as the boys screamed.

"I'd like to live, thank you very much," Maximilian replied.

"I'm sure she won't go too far…right?" Noel asked.

"Meh…Boys need a lesson," Lambda shrugged, "Ben needs to be watched or he will do dumb things even as mature and helpful as he is."

"Ah! Wait! I don't think that bends, I don't think that bends!"

*CRACK!*

"I WAS RIGHT!"

"Gwen!" Max snapped.

"Ben did it!"

"Mmmph-mm-mph!" Humungousaur muffled out from where his head was stuck in a rock formation, shaking a fist at a cactus opposite of Cestus's direction.

"Ah…Gwen, I keep telling you to be careful…" he groaned.

"Wait…why does Gwen have problems controlling her strength?" Noel blinked, "Ben instantly has control of his aliens."

"...It could be because this isn't the one we're used to him having," Tsubaki noted.

"Ah, so true. The current Omnitrix Gwendolyn has at this time hasn't recalibrated yet," Paradox explained, "So she's having to 'learn on the fly,' so to speak." she giggled, "You should've seen what happened when she used Upgrade the first time."

"Ah! Please, ma'am, do not remind me of that!" Cestus begged, her cheeks a bright pink as Humungousaur pulled his head out of the rock.

"Ugh…Cotton candy everywhere…and none of it was edible because she burnt it…" Humungousaur muttered.

"Ben however has his memories from his first timeline, and the Ultimatrix of this dimension is much more…effective and less slap-dashed like the one of your Ben's dimension," Paradox added, "For one…his secret weapon won't suddenly become sentient."

"..." Noel gasped, "Does that mean…"

"Most likely you'll get to see at least one," Paradox winked.

"It's cool and all…but I always feel weird when I do it…" Humungousaur shivered.

"Our Ben said the same thing," Noel noted.

"..." Lambda leaned closer to Tsubaki, "Sister seems…excited…"

"I think of all of us, the two who wanted to see this 'secret weapon' the most that weren't Kajun for…Science…were her and Makoto," Tsubaki whispered.

"True..." Lambda noted…before hugging Tsubaki with wide eyes while looking around, "I am scared of the Science…"

"We all are, La-chan, we all are," Tsubaki comforted, patting her head, "It's why we try to get Ben to turn into Heatblast when she says it that scary way for protection."

"Sounds like a problem child there," Max muttered.

"Their version of us probably has it under control," Maximilian chuckled.

"Given how unique these kids are, I'm not surprised," Max chuckled a bit in agreement.

"It's a complex family and work dynamic we have…" Tsubaki sighed.

"I am not a volcano!" Ben snapped.

"Gah! What was that about?" Makoto asked, jumping a bit with Mai.

"S-Sorry…Thought someone brought up wanting to hide near me when I'm Heatblast when Kajun is being all Science Mode," Ben apologized, "Any luck?"

"Nothing on my search," Mai replied.

"Zilch," Makoto added.

"Right," Ben nodded, "May have to go WIldmutt."

"Good thinking," Makoto replied before her ears twitched, "Huh…Sounds like the raid's started."

"That's good," Ben nodded, "They needed a distraction from dealing with the multiverse nonsense we're dealing with." he turned into Wildmutt and flexed his gills, "Rrr…"

"What ya find?" Makoto asked, patting Wildmutt's head, "Is it evil you? Go sick 'em!"

"Grr…Rah…Rrrrr…" he growled.

"Sorry…Boyfriend can't speak as a giant orange gorilla dog~. I have to imagine what you say, and I imagined you praising your smart girlfriend," she smirked, scratching his head, "Anyway go get that evil you!"

"Rah!" he barked as he ran off.

"After him!" Makoto cheered.

"We did not agree on you being in charge in the absence of Ben!" Mai shouted as they ran off after him.

"Nonsense! As the team leader's girlfriend, naturally I'm second in command!" Makoto laughed.

"No! No, it does not work like that!" Mai complained.

"Silence from you both!" Skurd called, forming shoulder guns that resembled Stinkfly before shooting a stream of stink at them both.

"Ack! Gah! Pffft-ptui! Evil! Thing of dark prophets!" Makoto gagged.

"We have a chart," Skurd reminded, "Makoto, you are near the bottom of it and Mai is above you!"

"Hah?!" Makoto gawked.

"Amusing enough, Noel is third-in-command," Skurd chuckled.

"Wh…what?! N…Noellie outranks me?!"

"Yup!"

"How did that happen?!" Makoto asked.

"She understands Wildmutt," Skurd deadpanned.

"Wha…how?!" Makoto asked.

"No one knows…" Skurd sighed.

"So that means I am above Makoto meaning I am in charge when Ben is not," Mai stated.

"Keep in mind there are addendums and stipulations for certain scenarios…" Skurd muttered, "But in this instance yes…flat and clear on the pecking order…you outrank."

"Woohoo~" Mai cheered.

"Boo!" Makoto complained.

"Now be quiet," Skurd scolded, "Are we not trying to ambush the other Ben that has come for this Ben's Omnitrix?"

"Oh please if we wanted to do stealth, Ben and I would have done a Batman and ditched everyone!" Makoto laughed, "We want to be loud and bring him to us!"

"...Ben, please bark once if you have his scent and two if you don't," Mai sighed.

He snorted and nodded in understanding before skidding to a halt as he sniffed around for a bit.

"Okay…So we know this Ben uses Ghostfreak without any chains or limiters," Mai noted, "But what about his other aliens? We're speculating that he'll be using Ghostfreak all the time…"

"Hey, we all spar a lot with Ben-kun in his different forms," Makoto reminded, "We're ready for almost anything they've got!"

"Almost anything?"

"Well, duh! There are some forms Ben-kun hasn't used in our sessions," Makoto reminded.

"Rrah-Grah!" Wildmutt barked as he sniffed something, "Mmm?" He turned his head, earning the girls' attention as his head was pointed to a muscle car that was slowly rolling down a slight incline, while on fire, "..." Sniffing the smoke and hearing what he assumed to be a car, Wildmutt began to laugh in a raspy chuffing manner.

"You really don't like that car…" Mai muttered.

"Considering how Kid Kevin with that knockoff Omnitrix was a jerk and given how my first meeting with him, he revealed he tricked a girl for an engine block…It's justified," Makoto nodded.

"My Car!" Kevin's voice cried as he ran after it, "I'm gonna get you for this, Tennyson!"

"And so it begins," Makoto grinned.

"Car Destroyer Ben…" Mai added.

"Oh please…"

"?!" the three tensed as they turned, seeing Bad Ben...or rather Ben Freak grinning at them while leaning against some junk.

"If I wanted, I could've taken both Levin, Gwen, and the other me out with that," he stated, "Then again…there'd be you three…but then again…two Omnitrixes at the same time…it's like killing two birds with one stone."

"Grah!" Wildmutt roared, jumping at him and swinging, making Ben Freak duck out of the way.

"That's right…you bit off more than you can chew! You poorly rendered photocopy!" Skurd declared.

"Poorly rendered pho…Oh, you have quite the mouth," Ben Freak scowled.

"And you have halitosis," Skurd quipped, "May I suggest you enjoy a mint or twenty? Maybe a few cases?"

"Rah! Rah!" Wildmutt growled as he rushed at Ben Freak, who ducked out of the way only for a strand of web to snag him and drag him along. A Spidermonkey tail formed on Wildmutt's rear by Skurd as they dragged the evil alternate counterpart around.

A mint-green flash went off as a darker grey Gravattack with a purple core and mint green eyes broke free of the webbing. He smirked, raising his hand and picking Wildmutt into the air. He swung his hand and launched him at Makoto and Mai, who jumped out of the way just before impact.

"Of course you realize…this…means war!" Skurd declared as a flash went off and Jetray flew up into the air.

"And time for Air support!" Jetray shouted, blasting his neuroshock beams, making Gravattack flinch and stumble back from them.

"Tch…pest," he scowled before holding his hand out, making Jetray tense before he was slammed back into the ground, "You're grounded."

"Well if it bothered you so much you should have said something!" Jetray angled his tail up as he shot his Neuroshock beam right into Gravattack's hand, causing his focus to drop.

"Gh!" he grunted before he was suddenly kicked from behind, sending him stumbling forward and into another beam from Jetray.

"You're not fighting one on one, you bad copy!" Makoto declared.

"Grr!" Gravattack grunted as he was suddenly struck by Mai's spear from his side, making him stumble back as the Neuroshock beams made him stumble back and fall over. He moved to try and get up, but the spear struck him and pinned him down, followed by a combined Neuroshock beam pinning him, "How annoying!" he growled as he changed in a flash, everyone tensed as a bolt of mint green electricity jumped around before slamming into Jetray and knocking him to the ground. The lightning bolt stopped to reveal a Nosedeenian form but colored in mint green instead of yellow like was normal.

"Buzzshock!" Makoto called out before flinching as he took a deep breath, "Oh no…" she covered her ear as he let out an ear piercing sonic scream, but Buzzshock blinked as she lowered her hands to reveal her headband formed over her ears, "Phew…thanks multiversal roadtrip the first…"

"What!?" Mai asked, holding her ears in pain.

Buzzshock growled, aiming his hands and blasting lightning at them only for a green flash to go off as XLR8 ran past and moved them out of the way before the bolts of electricity could make contact. XLR8 skid to a halt as he put the girls down. XLR8 dashed around as he began running in a circle around Buzzshock forming a tornado that quickly enveloped him. The little Nosedeenian being knocked around like mad by the wild winds before XLR8 jumped into the air and swung his claws as he smacked Buzzshock to the ground. Buzzshock turned into electricity as he jumped away with XLR8 in hot pursuit. The two high speed combatants began dashing around and clashing against one another multiple times before the bolt of electricity was slapped out of the air by XLR8's tail.

Buzzshock growled, aiming and shooting lightning only for XLR8 to raise his tail as Skurd turned it into Feedback's and let it absorb the lightning into it. He was about to run before he was sent flying back from an energy blast from XLR8, sending him hopping along the ground. XLR8 dashed as he moved to pin the small alien down only for his claws to hit nothing but ground. The Kinecelaran flinched as a mint-green Goop formed around him, the Polymorph constricted around him, the hiss of acid filling the air…but the mass of slime began bubbling and bulging suddenly before exploding away to reveal Shock Rock.

Shock Rock raised his arm as he formed blue energy into his hand before making it into the shape of a sword as he swung it and slashed apart the mass of Goop that tried to slam into him. He formed a second sword as he swung them around to slash all the Goop chunks trying to cling to him. Shock Rock roared as he crossed the blades as a charge built up from the blades as he uncrossed them to send Goop's many globs flying away. He rolled out of the path as all the globs flew at him at the same time and reformed into his full body. Goop moved to pounce only for Shock Rock to raise his arm and blast a blue electric blast that knocked the anti-gravity UFO out of the air, making the actual body just…fall and splatter across the ground.

"That is both the best and the worst weakness when I go Goop," Shock Rock muttered.

The UFO suddenly shot up and flew at Shock Rock making him flinch and jump out of the way before it spun around and came back for another pass. Shock Rock raised his arm forming a blue shield that bounced it off. Shock Rock growled as the UFO passed over him making the mass of Goop fly away before reforming. In another flash Goop was replaced by Heatblast with a much darker almost charcoal stone skin. Heatblast aimed and let loose a stream of fire which washed over Shock Rock's shield.

"I would give up dude, you're not gonna win this!" Shock Rock spoke as he dispelled his shield and fired off a blast of blue plazma making Heatblast jump out of the way.

"What? You're the Best Ben in the multiverse?" Heatblast asked, tossing a fireball at him.

"Oh I totally Am…but that's not why!" Shock Rock smirked as he formed a hammer out of his plasma energy and used it to bat the fireball away, "Your fighting solo…I'm here with my friend and girlfriend, and unlike you I got a team!" he smirked as Heatblast was struck by Mai's spear, knocking him over and rolling along the ground.

Heatblast grunted before he was hit by a large chunk of concrete that sent him skipping along the ground and into Shock Rock as he shoulder charged into him before sending him flying. Heatblast grunted righting himself mid air with his flames only for the spear to strike him again. As Heatblast landed on the ground he was punched by Shock Rock making him stumble back, the Fulmini reared his arm back as he reformed the stones around his arm into a gauntlet before charging energy into it and forming spikes on the knuckles before punching Heatblast and letting out a pulse of energy that sent him skidding along the ground. As Heatblast came to a stop, his eyes widened as Makoto swung and punched him across the face with her gloves projecting freezing energy as Heatblast was sent flying and slamming into the wall of an old desolate building.

"Think he's down?" Mai asked.

"No…" Shock Rock spoke as Ghostfreak suddenly rose out of the ground and moved for them, only to slam into a dome barrier Shock Rock formed around them, "You really like Ghostfreak, why is that?"

"Well…when you're good at something…you stick with it," Ghostfreak spoke, "Sides…what can I say…this one just gets stuck in my head~"

"Ugh~ God he's so creepy," Makoto shivered.

"It's you isn't it?" Shock Rock gasped, "You won…you took over?"

"Oh that's so harsh Ben…I mean…we always were one~" Ghostfreak replied as his skin retracted to reveal his true form, "As far as I see this….two for one is my lucky day!" he raised his glowing hands as the ground under their feet began cracking and lifting up.

"Whoa!" Shock Rock grunted as he dispersed his barrier and they all jumped down to solid ground, "Well now I don't feel bad punching your face in." he cupped his hand forming a massive orb of plasma energy he threw at Ghostfreak as he tossed all the rubble he lifted into the air into it causing a large explosion.

Ghostfreak flinched only for his eye to widen as Shock Rock jumped into the air and punched him down to the ground. Shock Rock grunted as he raised his arm to block a sweep of Ghostfreak's claws. The two growled as they unleashed beams of dark mint green ectoplasmic energy and blue plasma into one another, causing a large explosion that enveloped them both.

"Holy chestnuts!" Makoto gawked, the girls hiding behind a piece of rubble.

"This is intense…No wonder he doesn't restrain Ghostfreak," Mai grimaced.

"Right?! This is nuts!" Makoto exclaimed as she patted her tail, "Come on…Come on…Shoot. Did I leave the thermos in the car?"

"...You're cleaning your tail out when we get back to Grandpa Maximillian's RV," Mai ordered, adopting a deadpan expression.

"Just help me look in my tail," Makoto grumbled as she pulled the Sheikah Slate out, "...Think the time stop would work on Ghostfreak?"

"I have no idea," Mai replied.

"Grr…" Shock Rock grunted as he wrestled with Ghostfreak, shocking him every now and again to prevent his escape via intangibility, "A-Any time now, Babe…this…gah! Tentacle! Tentacle in my mouth! Little me was right; they are evil!" he yelped before chomping down on one of the tentacles, his literal stone jaw having more biting force then the Ectonurite expected.

"Did you just bite me!? What is wrong with you!?" Ghostfreak grunted in pain before he was punched down to the ground.

"You were the one jamming your tentacle in me!"

"Oh, I am going to…!" Ghostfreak began before he suddenly froze midair, "?!"

"Yes! It worked!" Makoto beamed as she held her Sheikah Slate, Mai digging through the Beastkin's tail, "Now hit him babe! Hit him before he can move again!"

"Ahh! Right!" Shock Rock exclaimed before he punched Ghostfreak hard and fast, his body flashing rapidly as his color changed to red before the Ectonurite was sent flying back, crashing into a pile of rubble as he cried out in pain, "Hahaha! Yeah! Oh, that was so cool. I love that tech of yours, Babe!"

"Thank you, Sento, you super genius!" Makoto whooped.

"I think I have it," Mai noted before pulling out a normal black and acorn thermos, "...Seriously?"

"I like hot cocoa…" Makoto sheepishly muttered.

"Ugh…" Mai groaned, facepalming before resuming her search, "How do you even have all this room in your tail?"

"My Pa taught me," Makoto replied, "He likes hiding snacks in his tail. …D-Don't tell Ma about it!"

"Between the center stripes, Mai!" Shock Rock called, "She stashes the Anti-Ghost tech in the center stripes!" he grunted as he was smacked away with a telepathically-controlled boulder made of rubble, "GAH!"

"No matter the universe, you are the biggest nuisance to me, Tennyson!" Ghostfreak snarled.

"What can I say? I have a charm that transcends reality~" Shock Rock grunted as he formed a large battle ax of electric plasma he used to cleave through the same boulder, "And I ain't afraid of no ghost~" he chuckled swinging at Ghostfreak, making him hiss and back away.

"Center stripes…center stripes…" Mai muttered, digging through them before pulling out a silver hand-held blaster with green lights, "What's this?"

"Oh! Fenton Ghost Peeler!" Makoto explained, "Peels ghosts apart, atom-by-atom. Oh, it looked so cool when I got a demonstration of it on one of Danny's enemies! They were left completely and utterly…defenseless…" she trailed off as she started grinning.

"...You thinking what I'm thinking?" Mai asked as an idea began to form.

"Oh yeah~" Makoto grinned, "But, uh, you're the one who's gotta use it. I gotta look for the thermos and that will cut off access to my tail."

"...Fair enough. Besides…" Mai began as she began to walk out, "I gotta pay this creep back for earlier anyways…"

"Ooh edgy~ I love it!" Makoto smiled as she dug through her tail.

"You'll run out of energy in your Omnitrix eventually," Ghostfreak noted

"Maybe, but I doubt you have Master Control, so the same goes for you!" Shock Rock smirked, "At this point, it's a game of chicken~" he smirked, "Sides you just keep on forgetting, I'm not alone here, so who really has the advantage?"

"...well…" Ghostfreak began, eying Makoto a bit as a grin grew on his face, "How would you feel…if you were forced to fight your beloved!" he laughed as he flew straight at Makoto.

"Makoto!" Shock Rock exclaimed.

"Wh-?" Makoto began, looking up from her tail to see Ghostfreak flying towards her, "!?"

"You're m-!" he began before a green energy shot hit him in the side, "GAH~! WHO DID THAT?!"

"Right here," Mai spoke, making them look to see her donned in silver armor with a helmet over her head with a clear visor showing her face with 'FENTON PEELER' stamped on the forehead, "...Honestly, was not expecting it to make a suit of armor, but I'll take it!"

"What in the world is that?" Ghostfreak asked.

"Oh, the Fenton Ghost Peeler," Mai replied, "And that wasn't a full charge shot."

"What?!"

"Hey spooky, why don't you let the lady finish her badass moment?" Shock Rock spoke, blasting Ghostfreak with a bolt of energy that quickly wrapped around and turned into shackles binding his body and keeping him in place, "Now Mai!"

"You got it!" Mai grinned as she aimed her arms at Ghostfreak before a pair of blasters emerged from the tops of them.

With that, she unleashed a large green beam from the blasters, engulfing Ghostfreak in them. The Ectonurite screeched as the energy washed over him. His body began to twist and bend before it felt as if his outer layer began to peel off his body, followed by more and more. As the beam dissipated, Ghostfreak groaned and rasped, his body looking as if centuries had passed, leaving him looking old and decrepit. He raised a hand and only smoke came from his attempt to attack.

"Whoa~!" Shock Rock gawked.

"My goodness!" Skurd gasped.

"Ah-ha!" Makoto cheered as she pulled out the Fenton Thermos and threw it to Shock Rock, "Bag him!"

"Since you like Ghostfreak so much…why not stick around as him for a bit?" Shock Rock smirked, aiming and charging the thermos enough to empower it and fire the beam which washed over Ghostfreak before sucking him in. The Fulmini quickly slapped the cap on and twisted it to seal it tight. He let out a long sigh as he flashed back to Ben, "Ugh…How does Danny do it?"

"Eh, probably the same way you're good with aliens," Makoto grinned as she walked over while Mai's armor retracted back into the small handheld blaster, "Lots of practice."

"...Do you think we could…?" Mai began to ask.

"I…I'm not sure," Ben admitted, looking at the thermos, "You don't happen to have a Fenton Ghost Catcher in your tail, do ya, Babe?"

"Nope," Makoto replied, "I honestly expected to find the Alternate Ben at the core of that."

"Guess Ghostfreak has too strong of a hold over him," Mai sighed.

"Hopefully, the Ghost Catcher will work like it did with me," Ben noted before looking out in the direction the flaming muscle car had come from, "At least one me is alright, though."

"True," Makoto noted, "Hopefully, he finds the right gal that'll show him the right way again."

"True…" Ben muttered.

"Well, you did try to give this Ben some fair warnings on what not to do," Mai spoke, patting his shoulder in assurance, "Maybe he'll listen."

"Here's hoping," Ben frowned as Makoto put the Thermos back into her tail along with the Ghost Peeler, "Come on. Let's head on out and regroup with Grandpa Maximilian and the others. Here's hoping their mission went well."

"Hai," the two girls nodded as the trio quickly ran off.

Back with the others in yet another Alternate Dimension, things had calmed down as the kids got their new energy out of their systems. Now they just waited for whenever Eon planned to do something. But given the surplus of free time it seems to have set in both a sense of suspense for the mature members of this group, but for the three children and one Lambda…boredom.

"Bored…" Lambda muttered, resting her head on a table with an untransformed Kevin, Gwen, and Ben.

"Well it wasn't like we knew when he'd return…or even return. Eon's are rather hard to predict." Tsubaki sighed, "I've encountered at least one variation, and the Ben of our world claims there are others."

"I thought mine was just a dream…" Ben muttered.

"Time travel bad guys are mean," Noel frowned, polishing Funkfreed in his sword form.

"And boring…they can show up whenever…we need to wait…" Lambda muttered, "Not even hugging cute things fill the time…"

"Please stop hugging us…" Ben and Gwen complained.

"Mmm…" Lambda pouted.

"Kajun just had to be the one who was given the code for Clockwork," Tsubaki sighed, "We three would have had to hide in the RV, but then it would be easy enough for one to find the nuisance."

"I think Ben's getting better at getting over his temporal-sickness," Noel noted.

"He still gags…" Lambda pointed out, smiling, "Got game from 2023 for game console. Lots of fun."

"...La-chan…have you been abusing Clockwork to get future stuff?" Noel blinked.

"...Shh…you will thank me on your birthday," Lambda patted her sister's head.

"?"

"You will love it," Lambda replied with a smirk and a glimmer in her eyes…before Tsubaki gently rapped her on the head with a paper fan.

"You are grounded for a week from your games, Lambda Eleven Vermillion," Tsubaki scolded.

"Ah…I forgot…" she realized with a look of slight shock at forgetting who was here with them, "Well now…I don't feel bad for all the gifts I saved for holiday season…I shall win best present giver for sure."

"That girl gives out a lot of mixed signals," Kevin whispered, earning nods from Gwen and Ben.

"I can hear you just fine," Lambda spoke up as she appeared between them.

"AH!" the three all panicked, jumping away.

"Too slow," she replied simply with a small smile.

"Will you stop doing that?!" Kevin snapped.

"No," Lambda replied simply, "I'm bored and your reactions are cute."

"Two weeks," Tsubaki stated, making Lambda freeze before slumping.

"Oh, that takes me back to when I had to do a semester as a Plumbers Academy instructor," Max recalled in amusement.

"Guess she's spent quite a bit with your Max," Maximilian snickered, "She's got the stealth down pat." he looked out in time to see several boulders rolling down at them, "Incoming!"

"Well that's unexpected…" Noel noted as she pulled out Bolverk and began shooting the boulders, making them all veer off to different paths and divert them around and away from them, "Where will he attack from?"

"Not where…"

"?!" Noel tensed as she turned, seeing Eon standing before her as he held his hand out.

"When…" he whispered before he vanished, making one of Lambda's Ancient Flails miss before he reappeared a few feet away from the group, "Oh so close…"

"Oh come on, you teleport now?" Ben groaned, "Alright, we'll kick your butt all at once then!" He slapped his Ultimatrix before he was replaced by Diamondhead. He aimed and formed a crystal wall that blocked a purple beam, "Can't use time powers on crystals~"

"True, I can't use it on crystals, but I can use it on other things," Eon chuckled as he fired a blast at a rock formation above Diamondhead, making it crumble and fall down upon the Petrosapien.

"...ok. I walked into that one…" he groaned from underneath the pile.

"Now…how's about you stand by and allow me to take your cousin's watch…you'll be next soon enough," Eon stated as he began to approach Gwen, only to move to the side when Tsubaki attempted to slash him, "Oh? Is that Excalibur? Twould be a shame if such a legendary blade…" he paused before vanishing, making Tsubaki tense before he reappeared, holding onto its blade, "If time itself would ruin its luster."

"Oh dear…" Noel muttered.

Excalibur reacted as it began glowing with Eon's purple temporal energy…before draining it into itself…and even more energy from him. Eon grunted as his arms began to tremble as Excalibur reacted further. Suddenly, he grunted while falling to his knees as the sword continued draining him of his energy. Before it suddenly began…moving, causing him to swing it around wildly before flying out of his hands. The sword stopped itself mid-air…before floating down and landing at Tsubaki's feet, the purple glow fading to gold after a few moments.

"So…that's what happens to unworthy people who touch our Excalibur…" Lambda noted as Tsubaki picked it up, "It really likes you."

"A-Agreed…" Tsubaki noted, looking over her blade in surprise, 'What other secrets do you hold, Excalibur?'

"Gah…Wh-What was…that…?" Eon groaned, struggling to get up.

"Oh…well I think…since you are unworthy…Excalibur…uh…" Noel muttered.

"Bit you?" Lambda shrugged.

"I think you assumed it worked like the Excalibur of other dimensions," Tsubaki muttered, "Ours…is a little more…"

"Extreme…" Lambda spoke.

"Gh…" Eon grunted.

"Oh, I almost forgot, too," Noel noted.

"And what's th…" Eon began before Noel slammed Bolverk into his face and then gut, knocking him into Diamondhead's crystal wall.

"THAT'S FOR TRYING TO RUIN AN ADORABLE ANNIVERSARY DATE!" Noel barked.

"How long have you been waiting to do that?" Tsubaki asked.

"How long have we known about Eon?" Noel replied.

"Touche…" Tsubaki sighed.

"He's so weak…feels almost wrong to pick on him," Lambda spoke before spinning around and kicking Eon across his helmet-clad face, "I'm over it."

"...Well if that didn't convince me they're sisters, nothing will," Gwen muttered as she turned into FourArms again and dug Diamondhead out.

"Ugh…anyone get the number on that time bus?" Diamondhead asked.

"Okay, you remember what I told you?" Tsubaki asked Kevin.

"Right. I just do this, right?" Kevin asked as he put a hand on Diamondhead's crystals and grunted before the crystals coated him, "...Huh. I really am in control of myself."

"Well you at least look less freaky," FourArms smirked.

"Eh…" Diamondhead muttered as he was pulled to his feet.

"Ugh…" Eon groaned as Kevin walked over and grabbed his wrists, making the crystals move off him and cover his wrists and binding his hands behind his back, "N-No! You…You shouldn't be capable of that yet…" he glared at the girls, "You accursed interlopers!"

"I have an Elephant-Sword and I am not afraid of letting him sit on you," Noel warned.

"We kick badguy butt," Lambda replied simply.

"Your mistake was expecting us to be normal to the timelines and dimensions you've been to," Tsubaki spoke, "Maybe if that was true, we'd have struggled."

"Gh…you most certainly are very annoying factors I didn't account for. But I am but one of many Eons…that he has recruited in his crusade against all Omnitrix Wielders…believe me…there are more than plenty of Bens who failed and became me, hahaha…"

"Bens?' Noel asked.

"Failed?"

"In my dream…" Diamondhead began, "He attacked me at home…and…tried to infect my Omnitrix to turn me into him…but…he's also…me…" he held his head, "I…I don't remember it all…"

"What does this mean?" Tsubaki demanded.

"What I am…is but a path any Ben Tennyson can take, I am…and am not Ben in as many senses as you could feebly understand!" Eon laughed, "But that's all your simple minds could hope to grasp about me…about what I am~" he grunted as he flashed before he teleported a distance away, making them all blink in shock, "You will not be…" he began before a portal opened and Ben's car drove through and ran into him, sending him flipping over it.

"Oh my god!" Makoto panicked.

"We hit a person!" the older Ben inside shouted.

"I think that was Eon," Mai noted.

"Oh…then who cares…" Older Ben groaned as he opened the door and stepped out, "Hey, this one has a cooler mask…that one's going on the bingo card."

"Ugh…C-Curse you, Ben Tennyson…" Eon groaned, twitching on the ground.

"Ew…" Older Ben muttered as he tapped the Omnitrix and turned into Clockwork before he aimed his hand and hit him with a green time ray that made him disappear, "Okay…I sent him a few thousand years into the future. I figure by then someone has stuff to capture a time traveler. Or it's a post-apocalyptic void…either way, out of time out of mind."

"Won't spoil it for you, either, Benjamin," Paradox noted in the backseat beside Mai, making Mai and Makoto yelp.

"Wait…are you a Lady Paradox?" Makoto quickly changed tune from panic to interest.

"The fact you are being cheeky means it was probably the best option…mmm…" Clockwork gagged, holding his hand over his mouth, "Da…Getting better…" he walked away before he held back another…only for a faint ray of time energy to escape and shoot off to the side, "I'm good…all good…" he flashed back to Ben, "Well, looks like the homing beacon works." he looked over at Diamondhead and FourArms, "...Aaaand it's a universe when Gwen has the Omnitrix and, based on there being two, little me's got the Ultimatrix."

"Ultimate Humungousaur vs Cestus was not fun," Noel cringed, "Right, La-chan? …La-chan?" she looked over to see Lambda were the time ray hit.

"...Keeping," Lambda stated, walking back over with a headset on her head…with speakers on them made to resemble cat ears.

"Wow…My hair looks dumb," Diamondhead bluntly noted as the two timed out.

"Well he just did all the work in no time…meanwhile you got stuck under rocks," Gwen pointed out.

"You'd be surprised how often Eon likes dumping stuff on me when I go Diamondhead," Older Ben admitted before spotting Kevin, "...Got him back to normal?"

"I refuse to fight them both when she's the echidna and he's the evolved dinoguy if I ever soak up their watchs' energies again," Kevin stated before looking at the car, "That looks so cool."

"Well of course it is, you made it," Older Ben smirked, "Not even your best work either. You should see the muscle car you built." he smirked, "Who knows maybe you can make an even better one. One a Ben can't destroy." he looked over his shoulder at Makoto, "Or a girl like Makoto."

"We are the Vehicle Destroyers!" Makoto joked as she hopped out and looked at the younger ones, "Huh…Not as adorable as the last minis, but still cute."

"Please do not hug us!" Young Ben, Gwen, and Kevin groaned.

"La-chan used all the hugs," Noel pouted.

"No regrets. They are tiny, light, and soft. Perfect for hugs," Lambda stated.

"You only get five hugs from the next world with a little Ben!" Makoto declared.

"Objection!" Lambda declared.

"Overruled," Ben stated, "Or no more practicing with helping me as Clockwork anymore if you try to argue."

"I'm out of Ace Attorney references…" Lambda bowed her head.

"Well…how did yours go?" Maximilian asked as he walked up to Ben.

"No Highbreed where we went, but he still got it thanks to the Ghostfreak-possessed me that went after him," Ben replied, "Makoto's got him in the Fenton Thermos in her tail."

"It seems like this Ben and Ghostfreak…are…one…" Makoto explained slowly, "You told us he wanted to take control of you as a kid…is he from a timeline where…Ben lost?"

"Probably…" Ben sighed.

"It's usually the case, yes," Paradox sighed as she walked over between the two, "There are rare few times Bens..lose to their Ghostfreaks…or even accept it and let him 'teach' them."

"...ah geez…" Young Ben whispered upon hearing that.

"But for now, I'll relieve him from you. See to it he's in the right time and right place for a chance," Paradox went on, now holding the thermos.

"Huh?"

"If there's one thing I enjoy the most is seeing the good in others, no matter how infinitesimal it may be," she explained, "So I give then a single second chance to try to bring out that good. Not like this other Paradox who doesn't do second chances." She grimaced, "Just because he likes to wear 3D glasses all the time, don't underestimate that Paradox." A moment passed before she patted Young Ben's head, "And not to worry, young Benjamin, you need not worry about time suddenly slipping by anymore. Eon's meddling is all sorted out and time should resume at a proper pace now."

"Really? That's a relief. Was worried I'd blink one day and be fifteen or fifty," Young Ben sighed in relief.

"Hmm…some versions of me are jerks…" Older Ben muttered, "Gwen if you'd please." at that Gwen slapped Young Ben upside the head.

"Ow!" What was that for?!"

"Hey, you told me to," Gwen smirked.

"...Yep. This is how we acted," Older Ben facepalmed with a sigh while his friends all looked at him and gestured to the bickering cousins…with Funkfreed even looking at Older Ben and pointing at them.

"How did you not kill each other…?" Makoto asked, "You don't even sound like cousins…just those two kids in class who don't get along."

"I think most people didn't even realize we were related…" Ben muttered, blushing.

"I'm so happy you two have improved since then," Noel quietly admitted.

"Eh, give them a few near death moments and it'll improve," Ben shrugged.

"As you always do," Paradox smiled a bit

"Well…I guess we can…say goodbye?" Makoto muttered, "We took down an evil alternate Ben, plus an Eon…"

"Eh…" Ben and Paradox muttered, "We barely consider them a person…"

"You knew that would happen, didn't you?" Mai blinked as the two smiled and winked, "The people who break space and time have very similar attitudes to Ben's…and I'm not sure if that's good or not…"

"It's…honestly a bit scary…" Tsubaki whispered.

"I choose to say nothing less I get a boot to the head." Noel declared simply.

"Mmm," Lambda simply nodded in agreement.

"Well I guess it is time we get back to the dimensional road as it would seem." Maximilian sighed, "Who knows how many evil Ben's he's sent out all at once. Plus we spent enough time sitting here and doing nothing."

"Really…you guys got to sit around and do nothing? We had to explain multiverse theory two times and fight super Ghostfreak…" Mai grumbled.

"Well...not do nothing. More…" Noel began.

"Family drama," Lambda simplified.

"What did you make Grandpa admit to all the secrets I found out via life and death situations?" Ben chuckled. He looked at their expressions before snorting and holding back a powerful urge to laugh, "Even Grandma?"

"...hai," Lambda replied after a moment of silence.

"Well…at least now they won't be shocked to find out we have Alien DNA," Ben sighed.

"...True," Tsubaki muttered.

"Let's pack it up, kids, who knows what we'll find next time." Maximilian sighed

"Good idea," Ben nodded…though he had a bad feeling in his gut, 'Can't help but feel the next Ben's that Evil X sends after us...will be even worse. Not to mention given what I learned from my last dimensional road trip, who knows what kind of freaky alternate world we'll go to next…'

True enough, even when sticking to one grouping of worlds, the divergence can begin to get drastic in the far out branches of any contained Omniverse. In one such world the striking of iron filled the enclosed room. Only the dimmist of light as a figure hammered and hammered away at a piece of metal. The forger's back turned as they struck the red hot metal to forge away. Strike after strike, the heat of the glowing hot metal dimmed. Every now and again the sparks from their strikes lit up the room a little revealing there were more figures watching their work. The forger lifted the blade he was working on…before nodding to yet another figure, who moved a mechanism causing the doors to a burning forge to open, filling the room with bright almost hellish light from the raging inferno within. The figure walked over, their face obscured by a mask to protect themselves but a shock of brown hair could be seen atop his head as they returned the metal to the flames of the forge, disturbing the embers within as the light grew with this act, lighting up the room to reveal the oh so iconic Galvan crest resting upon this stone room, the green hourglass symbol of the Omnitrix. As the light dimmed…a small figure landed on the forger's shoulder, nodding to them as they let the doors to the forge close, cutting off the light.
