Undertown, for once in a long while, seemed to be rather calm. In Fact at the moment everyone was gathered in a large field between the maze of buildings as locals were having a fun game of soccer. One our hero team had chosen to partake in for their afternoon off while several Plumber teams from space were here for intergalactic business, and therefore taking some shifts off the Earth team's hands.
Most excited to play was none other than Ben Tennyson himself, who, at the moment, was juggling the ball across the field, weaving around players left and right, even his own friends as he quickly spun around Ragna before dashing away just as quickly before the Undertown Sheriff could even register what just happened.
"Okay…how?" Ragna couldn't help but blink, not knowing that Ben was a very avid fan of this sport.
"This…is honestly most surprising…" Jin muttered, watching Ben duck and weave around aliens with actual enhanced speed.
"Well Ben did say if he wasn't a superhero, he would be all in on going pro in soccer," Makoto smirked, currently watching with her family as they sat on some makeshift bleachers, "Speaking of…" she pulled out a familiar pair of pom-poms, "Whoo! Go, babe!"
"Ganbatte, Ben-niichan!" the twins exclaimed in excitement.
"I don't think anyone is used to Ben being so competent without turning into an Alien," Noel noted, holding Drei in her arms as they watched.
"Hup!" Ben grunted, catching the balls between his ankles before jumping over an attempt to slide steal from Rook.
"Heh," Rook smirked, getting up and chasing after his best friend as the two ran around the field to try and outplay the other, the ball going back and forth between them.
"Not bad, Rook, where'd you learn how to play Soccer?" Ben smirked.
"The Plumbers Academy believe it or not." Rook smirked as he stole the ball and ran for the goal.
"Really went all in on the electives huh?" Ben laughed chasing after Rook.
"Why yes. What are you going to do about it?"
"As a leader…delegate." Ben smirked as he slowed down, making Rook blink only to grunt as the ball was taken by a sliding Max, for once his armor was withdrawn to wear a normal casual attire for the game.
"It was a nice try, Rook, but team Human for the win!" Max cheered as he began juggling the ball.
"Good effort, buddy, but that striker's ego can be a downfall too!" Ben smirked as he offered a hand to Rook who fell from the steal.
"I suppose I still have much to learn." Rook laughed, taking the hand up.
"Hey, with skills like that, we could make one undefeatable team." Ben laughed roughly patting Rook's chest.
"Goal!" Max cheered kicking the ball, however in his rush from playing his eyes began glowing as he did…and sent it flying through the net and bouncing off stalls in Undertown before flying into a porcelain shop…with Pakmar's name on the sign, "Wha-oh…"
"Hey look at that…For once, it's not you, kid," Ragna noted.
"Small victories…" Ben chuckled as a dazed Pakmar walked out…before passing out in the ruins of his shop, "...so Celica's little helpers got this right?"
"They should be here soon." Ragna shrugged.
"We're gonna need a new ball…and net." Ben sighed, "Okay Time-out guys, we gotta fix the net!"
His Omnitrix trembled as Skurd slid out from under it, "Ah…fresh air…I detest sports days…"
"Shush you." Ben chuckled as everyone began taking drinks of water and resting till they could resume.
"Hoo…man what a game," Max sighed in relief as he plopped onto the ground.
"It's nice to get a break from the normal day-to-day stuff." Ben sighed as he walked over to the others.
"Tell me about it," Ragna muttered.
"Well least y'all had a fun time, right?" Mayaka asked as she walked over, her and Makoto carrying a few bottles of waters for the guys.
"...sorta," Jin quietly whispered to himself as he took his bottle.
"What's that? Jin enjoyed himself?" Ben smirked at that…before Jin pressed the bottle against his back, "GH?~! COLD!"
"I am now," Jin smirked as he moved the cold bottle of water away.
"..oh a wiseguy, huh?" Ben smirked as he activated the Omnitrix.
"...no. don't you dare…I know that smirk. Don't you…" Jin began before a flash went off, letting Stitch take his place, "...don't even think about it, Tennyson."
"Doogaba!" Stitch shouted, pouncing on Jin and wrestling him to the ground. After a short struggle, Stitch was standing on Jin with his shoe in his jaw, before slurping it like a noodle.
"Proud of yourself babe?" Makoto asked.
"Ih." Stitch nodded.
"Yeah I figured," Makoto nodded as Mukoto and the twins were laughing up a storm.
"It is still a nice day, picking on Jin aside." Noel smiled as she scratched Drei's ears.
"With all the visiting Space Plumbers we got tons to cover the normal work for us." Makoto smiled, "Couldn't be a more perfect timing!" she cheered, wrapping her arms around her mother and father.
"Heh heh. Well we're glad to be here," Mack chuckled as he hugged his daughter back.
"No! No hugs!" Stitch complained as the twins held him, "So small, but so strong!"
"Hmm hmm. Well you are huggable," Mikoto giggled a bit as she held Mykoto in her arms, the youngest of the Nanaya siblings trying to reach out for Stitch.
"Choota…" Stitch muttered.
"Well I say we…" Max began before an alarm went off, making the heroes look over to see Plugg running out of a bunk,
"Oh no! Some..rapscallion is absconding with the bank's money!" a voice dramatically exclaimed, "Oh whatever shall we do~?!"
"...Wasn't that Mr. Hokestar's voice?" Mukoto blinked.
"Hah…" Stitch sighed as he grew his second set of arms and pulled the twins off of him before holding them up to Mack, "Hold them please."
"Got it," Mack replied as he took his kids into his arms.
"Ugh…" Max groaned as his armor began forming around him, his helmet following after a moment so he could take a drink of water.
"So much for relaxing…" Makoto muttered, preparing to pick up Stitch before.
"Have no fear, citizens of EarthVille!" a voice declared, making Plugg stop as a semi-muscular man in a green-sleeveless jumpsuit, gray armor, black markings all over his arms and face, and…what looked to be a knock-off Omnitri landed between the smaller alien and the bank, "Ben 10 has arrived!"
"...what?" Jin and Ragna raised a brow at that.
"He's here! The real Ben 10's arrived!" a group of alien children began to cheer as they held up various signs.
"Gaba iga tasoopa!?" Stitch gawked.
"What?" Max asked in confusion.
"Oh, young one loves this show." Rook smiled.
"WHAT?!" everyone turned to Rook.
"...oh wait..it's that Extranet show's isn't it?" Makoto asked/semi-realized.
"It is."
"Heh…" Plugg smirked, dropping the bags as he turned to 'Ben,' "You will never defeat me, Ben Bentennyson of EarthVille. Sparmax the Solarnoid is reborn!"
"The reason every particle of my body says 'I won't stop until your reign of evil has ascertained its doom!" 'Ben' declared while dramatically pointing at him, earning a cheer from the crowd of alien kids.
"He seriously did not just say that…" Ragna sweatdropped.
"Situation classification: Extreme!" 'Ben declared as he did a dramatic pose, "Extreme times calls for extreme responses! And nothing that walks..walks the paths of EarthVille, more extreme than…" he began before he suddenly became mud, reshaping his form into an armored humanoid unicorn..only with a sole leg with a lone tire holding him up, "Uni-Tar!"
"Uh…that's…not an actual alien is it?" Max turned to those who would know.
"It's…not one I've ever seen…" Kajun muttered looking at her tablet real quick.
"I certainly hope not…" Skurd muttered as Uni-Tar charged at Plugg.
"Golden Oranges, deploy!"
"Did he just say that with a straight face?" Jin deadpanned as Uni-Tar's horn opened up…firing small orange nerfballs at Plugg as they hit him, "..."
"...ha! You forget Sparmax has a highness invulnerable factor of Eight!" Plugg mockingly laughed.
"Gasp! Times for drastic measures!" Uni-Tar gasped as he skid to a halt, quickly changing back into 'Ben' as he pulled out..a small bottle filled with a blue liquid, "Time to boost my blood vessels with Professor Hokestar's Extreme Miracle Elixir, made of course by the very man who brought you the Hokestar Miracle Plant Growth Elixir! 100% Screegit Free of course."
"Oh good lord…and here I was worried something dangerous was happening…" Tsubaki muttered as Hokestar walked into the area, holding multiple cameras in his arms.
"That's it…drink it up," Hoekstar whispered as he focused on 'Ben', who drank up the elixir with one gulp before he let out a belch…right before he grew in size while his muscles grew out a bit more.
"Ha! Now…" 'Ben' began as he looked down at Plugg, "You feel lucky, punk…? ...It's a yes or no question…" he whispered to him before jumping back, "And I won't take no for an answer!"
"This is the show based on my Ben?" Makoto blinked, looking to Rook as 'Ben' and Plugg tackled each other...into a fight cloud.
"Well…it is meant for children." Rook chuckled.
"Why does he look like a lame action figure from the 90s?" Max asked.
"Probably to avoid copyright," Kajun guessed.
"...Meh. Ben-Nii is way cooler," the twins shrugged from their father's arms.
"Woohoo!" Stitch cheered at that.
"Should we stop this?" Max asked bluntly, "I mean the horrible acting alone gets on my nerves…"
"No no…it's bad…but not that bad." Makoto sighed, "We'll just go see what's up once they finish this scene…"
"Kata Baka dooka?" Stitch asked.
"No! You can not be destructive!" Kajun and Tsubaki complained/translated.
"For once I am in agreement with Tennyson…this is an assault to the ears and a mockery of acting…" Jin cringed.
"Awooo…" Drei howled in agreement.
"Even the dog agrees with us…and it's probably never even seen television before…" Jin muttered.
"Well…that…no no. I'm sure Hokestar…" Tsubaki began before Skurd sprayed out a wave of ice at 'Ben' and Plugg, separating the two while the former's 'Omnitrix' arm was covered in ice, "SKURD!"
"What? It was an appalling front to my eyes!"
"Wh-?! CUT!" Hokestar's voice snapped as a second one walked into the area, wearing a directors cap while holding a megaphone, "No no no! The scene's all ruined now~!"
"You!" the first one exclaimed as he pointed at Stitch, "You ruined the scene!"
"Ahh…!" 'Ben' began as he shrunk back down in size, the ice covering his arm shattering as he pulled out a hand mirror, "That crazy mutt almost messed with my hair! Ugh. This is why I hate location work."
"..." Stitch grabbed a rock and tossed it at 'Ben', beaning him in the head and knocking him over, "Stupid head…"
"Hey hey! That 'Stupid head' happens to be the star of the show!" the camera holding Hokestar argued, "And considering I can't get a hold of the actual Ben 10, I need to…to…" he trailed off once he noticed the Omnitrix symbol on Stitch, "...oh."
"Oh! Ben, my boy, I am so sorry!" the other Hokestar gasped as he ran over, "I do apologize for my other self's attitude. We were just upset about the scene being ruined."
"...you two are working together?" Makoto blinked, "...wait…you don't have a 'me' in this show, do you?"
"Uh no…we are not allowed to use actual Plumber personnel. Ben himself is more of a free agent in the grander scheme of things." the Other Hokestar explained, "Minor technicality…but that's what the original creator of this show used to get licensing deals. Hahahaha…" he sighed.
"Wait…Hokestar of our world?" she motioned to the one that just sighed.
"Exactly!" he perked up, "I am the Executive Producer, my other self is the Director."
"Another Hokestar." Stitch labeled the one not native to this reality.
"I like that." Hokestar nodded as Another Hokestar gave an annoyed shrug to this world's original.
"Stitch is very okay with not using Stitch's loved ones as extras…" Stitch nodded.
"Yes well we considered that, but figured you wouldn't be okay with it," Hokestar muttered.
"So instead of wasting even more money on multiple actors…we brought in someone to help with production," Another Hokestar added.
"Oh Stitch knew there was a but…" Stitch crossed his arms.
"Should've seen that coming…" Tsubaki sighed, "Alright…who…?"
"Hey, docs?" the turned to see what looked like a Tanuki Beastkin poking her head out of the bank, "Is it my turn yet…you did promise me a debut after…" she paused once she noticed Stitch and the others, "...Oh! Heya, Cuz~!"
"...Lucy?" Stitch guessed before the tanuki girl became a pile of mud and reformed into said cousin.
"They needed someone to monitor their filming to make sure nothing crazy happens!" she explained, "They learned I'm related and hired me as a consultant! I got two jobs! Crazy huh?"
"Great ta see ya!" Makoto beamed as she walked over to her, "So…Tanuki?"
"Well they needed something local…but each time I turned into a normal human, the Hokestars complained about features and blah-blah…so I got the idea from my potentially future Cousin-In-Law~" Lucy explained, "I tried to look like me but with your ears and tail…they vetoed that annoyingly fast…"
"Wanted to avoid copyrights?"
"Eeyup…so now my character goes by Nukio, ninja tanuki-girl extraordinaire, player of tricks on bad guys...and to make sure 'Ben' stays on track."
"Understandable," Makoto nodded before Lucy noticed Makoto's parents and siblings.
"...oh my god is that your…"
"Yup."
"The little one's are so adorable~!"
"Very cute." Stitch nodded.
"Wait…this is a Plumber assignment?" Tsubaki realized.
"Well filming an Extranet program on Earth requires like CRAZY amounts of paperwork to even be allowed to." Lucy explained.
"Yes…thanks for that by the way." Hokestar looked at his alternate self.
"Well I'm sorry…I barely had the money as is since my Smoothie shop suddenly vanished," Another Hokestar stated, earning a mental wince from those that were involved with said multi-dimensional smoothie shop.
"I'm surprised he wasn't picked up…" Makoto whispered as she picked up Stitch.
"Oh he did it on purpose…" Stitch rolled his eyes.
"Yup," Skurd quietly agreed.
"So while I help my otherself get back on his feet, I figured we could double in on the Ben 10 Extranet show," Hokestar explained...before motioning to a stand selling multiple merchandise, "Along with selling some fan memorabilia on the side…"
"With a photoshoot and an autograph signing by The Real Ben 10!" Another Hokestar added as he motioned to 'Ben'..who just stood there with a confident grin as the alien children cheered on for him.
"Yeah…one problem with that," Stitch began as he changed back into Ben, "I'm the real Ben 10…besides.." he walked up to 'Ben' as he examined his 'Omnitrix, "That's not an Omnitrix, a Unitrix…not even a Predatrix. What's it supposed to be anyway?"
"...ugh, look, buddy. I know who you are," 'Ben' groaned as he looked down at Ben, "I didn't make Ben 10 a household name for your 'little hero thing' to steal my thunder."
"Dude…your based on me!"
"Maybe once…but let me run with this," 'Ben' huffed, "You should come up with a different name...or just change your name all together to make things less confu-OW!"
"Hey hey! Don't be talking to my cousin like that, Deefus!" Lucy frowned, one of her arms currently transformed into a hammer before it changed back into a normal arm.
"Deefus?" most of them blinked.
"Yeah, he's the same species as me and my part of the family." Lucy explained, "I think I even went to school with him once…"
"Oh he's a Sludgepuppy." Ben nodded as Lucy nodded in agreement, "So that's why he can change shape and stuff…" Lucy nodded happily, "...that explains that weird horse alien he changed into."
"Hey. Uni-Tar is a fan favorite," Deefus argued, currently rubbing the bump on his head.
"He's that one weirdo who once he left for college…came back a totally annoying jerk who gets overly critical about everything and never stops talking about his acting career." Lucy summed up.
"Wha…"
"Overly critical?" Ben blinked.
"He got all annoyed at Grandpa for using the term Sludgepuppy…" Lucy rolled her eyes.
"Ugh. He's one of those people then…" Ragna cringed at that.
"What do you mean,'those people'?" Deefus frowned at Ragna…before his face was literally punched in, "?!"
"I assumed it was just a nickname thing…" Ben muttered to Lucy.
"Mmm…it kind of is. Back during the times Lenopans and Plumbers didn't get along they just called us that cause they didn't know our species name. Only the really old…and…" she looked at Deefus who struggled to reform his 'Ben' face, "...the really annoying have issues with it. But…you're also family…so I think that excuses you." she smiled at her cousin before seeing the twins looking at her with stars in their eyes, "Hm?"
"You're a shapeshifting teenage girl," Makoto summed up.
"Magic lady~!" The twins awed.
"Mmm…they are so gosh darn cute!" Lucy cheered.
"You can hug them." Ben smiled, "They love the attention."
"You are Family of the Boyfriend, it's cool." Makoto assured Lucy.
"Eeeh!" Lucy cheered, dashing off to scoop up the twins, "You're both so adorable!"
"Heh heh! Yup! Kinda hard not to like 'em!" Mack laughed.
"I suppose small introductions," Ben smiled to those new to Lucy, "This is my Cousin Lucy, she's a Lenopan, a race of aliens who can alter their shape at will." he explained simply, "She's also a Plumber like us, first of her kind to enlist even."
"Kakui~!" the twins awed at that.
"So that's what the Dingus is also?" Mack chuckled.
"Yeah…he's not the best representation of our kind…" Lucy sighed.
"I heard…that…!" Deefus grunted before he finally got his 'Ben' face back, "Ahh…there we go…being handsome again…"
"Meh," Mekoto and Mokoto deadpanned, "Again, Ben-Nii is cooler…and Lucy-Nee too."
"I'm part of the family~" Lucy cheered.
"Of course you are," Ben chuckled, "But anyway, I guess there's nothing that can go wrong with you around."
"Aw…thanks!" Lucy smiled, "But…truth be told, dealing with the Director Hokestar and Deefus is a little much…" she sighed, "And this is me saying that."
"You signed up to be a space cop, not an actress. Though with how good at fooling people you are." Ben laughed.
"Well that's a hobby, truth be told acting is not as fun." Lucy added, "But given how many things I've had to prevent from going wrong in this one scene…"
"It can't be that…" Ragna began.
"We installed a fake glass window to break…Plugg walked through the wrong window…four times…" Lucy explained.
"Ugh…" Ragna facepalmed at that.
"It's so confusing…they all looked the same, I panicked…" Plugg defended.
"I told you multiple times which ones were fake and real...you didn't listen," Lucy deadpanned.
"I got confused," Plugg replied.
"Okay yeah I can sense the nonsense." Ben sighed.
"I am doing my best people!" Another Hokestar shouted.
"Ah…and we are behind schedule as is." Hokestar sighed.
"I don't get it Professor…you own a pretty good business selling your lawn care stuff, why do you need to invest in a TV show?" Makoto asked.
"Well, I was convinced it was a wise investment from my other self…and well it is my face so of course I was sold. Till I learned we got the rights to the show for such a cheap price cause production was in the Red." Hokestar explained, "The relocation to Earth was because of Authenticity…and technically there are no costs for it due to Earth not being within Externet legal grounds…"
"You didn't think it would be weird to film the show in the place where the Actual Ben 10 lives?" Ragna asked.
"I'll be blunt with you kids, I agreed under the prospect I can gather real footage of Ben fighting crime…and splice that into the show over this…uh…supposed action." Hokestar whispered so Another Hokestar and Deefus didn't hear, "With some minor script revisions, decent editing, and copious amounts of effort…I might be able to save this show."
"Oh…fair I suppose…"
"Y'all done made sure t' keep yer lawn care business separate from bein' collateral, right?" Mayaka asked.
"Oh heavens yes!" Hokestar sighed, "It was mostly out of pocket, but again it was so in the red…it was practically a steal. The last Producer and Director went mad with the difficulties of this show…"
"That's not something you want to hear about a show with your name on it." Ben muttered.
"Can you believe this thing actually has like nine other seasons?" Lucy giggled.
"This thing has ten seasons!?" Ben gawked.
"Oh big time."
"Is Rook at the gift shop…?" Makoto muttered as everyone turned to see Rook in line for the gift shop of Memorabilia for this show.
"Dude?" Ben asked.
"Oh!" Rook blinked, "Sorry!" he laughed, walking back to them, "I was swept away in the moment. Before arriving to Earth, this is how I envisioned Ben."
"You envisioned me as a cheap 90s action figure?" Ben blinked.
"Hahaha…He looks like a rejected G.I. Joe!" Lucy laughed.
"Oh my gosh! Ah was thinkin' that, too!" Mukoto snickered.
"I suppose it is rather silly," Rook laughed, "But ever since the day the legends of Ben 10 savior of the Galaxy from the Highbreed, and the show began airing, it brought a sense of wonder and fantasy to our rather dull lives on the farm. We just never had a face to put to the legends and stories, until this show became a thing."
"Yeah but it's not my face," Ben pointed out.
"Mmm…might have been a good thing, darling boyfriend." Makoto smiled.
"...touche…my ego is big enough as is." Ben admitted.
"Years of Gwen trying to get that out of him, and the girlfriend does it casually," Lucy snorted a laugh.
"Still for Nostalgic reasons I wanted to get something." Rook explained.
"Fair enough."
"...We're not getting involved are we?" Jin asked in a deadpanned tone, "I don't want to deal with that insufferable acting."
"Pfft. Please…" Deefus began as Jin began to walk off, "You're just jealous because you probably can't act."
"?!" Jin tensed as he stopped, "...excuse you?"
"Jin, no. don't let him get to you," Tsubaki whispered as she immediately grabbed his shoulders, "This is not drama club…"
"..you're right…you're right," Jin sighed as he began to calm himself, "He's just an idiot seeking attention…"
"Hey…"
"Alrighty~! Let's take this next scene to the surface!" Another Hokestar declared.
"...I almost can't leave this alone…" Ben sighed, "Lucy, I know you got this handled…"
"Please don't leave me alone with them." Lucy replied, grabbing his hands and giving him pleading eyes.
"Aw…but Babe, your team was winning," Makoto pouted.
"I can kick butt anyday. Letting an idiot run around with my name? …Yeah, not gonna let that slide," Ben groaned before grunting as Lucy hugged him.
"Oh, I love being family with a Tennyson!" Lucy smiled.
"Besides, we can keep making fun of this show while we're at it."
"Oooh…Heckling," the Nanaya family all mused.
"Who'll be Statler and who'll be Waldorf?" Mukoto pondered in amusement.
"This might be kinda fun," Makoto smirked.
"Honestly? This screams 'train wreck'…" Ragna whispered to the others.
"I'm going with them." Jin declared, earning a few looks.
"Aw man…" Tsubaki groaned, knowing why he decided this.
"Well...it might be fun," Noel muttered, "...Though I'm not sure whether to expose Drei to this kind of…acting."
=Please tell me we're not joining in on this, too= Steel sighed to Max and Kajun.
"Surprised you don't want to join in on the heckling," Max noted.
=I am deeply disappointed as a connoisseur of superhero media= Steel declared firmly.
"You are not making me look like a comic book hero again," Max argued.
"Excuse me?" Makoto asked with wide eyes.
"Don't ask," Max begged.
"I have pictures," Kajun smiled, "While you left on the first trip, we let Steel indulge in comic books. He became deeply attached and began altering Max's forms to look like his favorite heroes."
"I was jumping around in Strength with purple shorts," Max sighed.
"And then he made Turbo Super," Kajun added.
"GAH! D-Don't show that one!" Max panicked, his face bright red.
=It is my favorite Turbo Mode ever…of all time= Steel stated.
"Oh~! Gimmie, gimmie, gimmie!" Makoto giggled excitedly.
"Nope. Absolutely not," Max picked up Kajun and ran off.
"You get back here with the embarrassing photos!" Makoto called, chasing them, "Did ya have a catchphrase like 'Let's jet' or 'Ka-pow'?"
"He had several in order to use the powers of it!" Kajun replied.
"Don't tell her that~!"
"Aw…ain't they cute?" Lucy teased.
"Well I'm gonna enjoy some more down time," Ragna sighed, "You guys try and keep the Doofus from making a mess."
"My name is Deefus!"
"Okay, okay. Your name's Goofus."
"That's better."
"...ano…" Noel began.
"Give him a minute," Ragna whispered to her.
"...Wait a minute….hey!"
"Oh…this is gonna be fun." The Nanaya family smirked.
"Ha ha ha…" Plugg laughed as he jumped on top of a car…in the middle of traffic, "Now my plan will come to fruition," he smirked as he pressed a button on a small container he was holding, letting a series of red sparkles fly out.
"Your fruity plan is about to go nowhere, Sporemax!" Deefus declared as he and 'Nukio' ran into the area, the former changing into a rather…odd red form with incredibly large red hands, "Expect a slappy town beatdown...thanks to Slapstrike!"
"Don't forget about me! Tanuki Kunoichi, Nukio!" 'Nukio' declared as she posed, "Nin nin~"
"Hey…don't steal my thunder!" Slapstrike hissed to her.
'I wonder if this is how Gwen felt when she was a kid with Ben?' she thought as she rolled her eyes.
"Anyaway…Sporemax, nothing gets out of these hands!" Slapstrike declared as he chased after Plugg…to the best he could as he barely got past some of the cars, "For I am Slapstrike!"
"Probably should've gone with Smackdown," Mukoto commented as the Omni-Team and the Nanaya family were watching the scene unfold.
"Really hope they got permits fer this," Mayaka noted, seeing the large traffic jam that was being caused by the ship Another Hokestar had parked.
"What does it for me is the acting," Jin muttered, shaking his head, "No real emotion put into it on Plugg's part. He's meant to be a villain, yet gives such a monotone to it that it doesn't feel right. Do you remember Perkins and his role in that one play in our third year?"
"Even he sounded better," Tsubaki admitted.
"You know…this alien doesn't look too bad. I could see this being useful in a fight," Ben muttered, "The hand puns could be better. Plus, look at the size, perfect for Sumo Tsuppari,"
"Lucy's the best one of 'em all," Makoto noted, "Perfectly natural tone for the situation, good movements. Even got the right twitch for the ears and tail."
"Considering how you two got along like peanut butter and jelly when you first met her? Not surprised," Ben chuckled.
"Hey, she's one of my favorite members of the family," Makoto smirked.
"Well she has had tons of practice with her powers and being other people," Ben smirked, "Even learned how to copy voices to be convincing."
"Perfect for her job as a Plumber," Tsubaki noted, "And she's putting it to good use here as well."
"Effects could be better though," Mikoto admitted, "I assume that glitter Plugg let out is supposed to emulate spores flying out to 'infest' the town with possibly hyper-evolved flowers that this 'Sporemax' is meant to control."
"Might be done during editing via CGI," Mukoto noted.
"Shoulda gone with 'Snoremax' instead," Mack noted.
"Why's that?" Ben asked.
"Because I'm fallin' asleep over here from watchin'."
"At least Plugg's using his running away skills decently to keep away from them," Tsubaki noted, recalling the various arrests that Plumbers had done on him, all sporting after-action reports complaining about his speed and evasiveness.
"He's actually kinda tough. He's short and fast, but also durable and strong. Like Stitch if he was made of rocks instead of fluff."
"Hey…"
"Mmm…" the twins tilted their heads, imagining Stitch made of rock, "...Still kawaii."
"Mmm…" Noel mused, "Agreed." she smiled at the twins before holding Drei up, "Want to pet the puppy?"
"Yes please~!"
Drei tilted his head before sniffing the air and looked towards Plugg as he landed on the open window of a truck…carrying a tanker of gasoline. He wiggled in Noel's arms before managing to slide out of her hold. He panted while looking up at her before tucking his legs in and rolled away.
"Ah! Puppy come back!"
"Please don't roll away, Mr. Puppy! We didn't gets to pet!"
"Drei, what are you doing?" Noel asked as the three followed after the corgi puppy as it rolled away, "It's not time to pretend to be bread!"
"I'll get him," Ben assured, "Drei, come here, boy!" he called out, walking after him.
"Ah'm honestly surprised ya didnt' freak out around a dog, sis," Mukoto admitted.
"I'm…slowly, but surely, getting over my phobia...just for Ben-kun and Noellie," Makoto replied.
"Also Drei is a harmless puppy. Perfect for small baby steps!" Noel cheered as they continued following the Corgi.
"Oh you are gonna need a long bath after all this rolling…" Ben sighed, "Why are you even doing this, boy?"
"Arf!"
"Noel you're his Dog Mom…what's he saying?" Ben asked.
"Eto…oh! He says Deefus is about to slap that gas tanker a-oh dear," Noel whispered in realization as Slapstrike smacked a truck carrying a tanker of gas out of the way, causing it to fall to its side as it was on the verge of falling off the highway.
"...oh shoot!" Slapstrike panicked as he ran.
"Hey! Where are you going?!" 'Nukio' snapped, "This is your mess!"
"Plugg made me hit it!"
"Well…there's a reason I wanted to stick around for this." Ben sighed, "Gas tanker, can't let it ignite and need to save the guy inside. Hey, who wants to see a cold lizard?" he asked the twins.
"Oh! Oh! We do!" Mekoto raised a hand.
"Ne ne! Be a cool lizard, Ben-Nii!" Mokoto added.
"Coming up!" Ben taped the Omnitrix turning into Articguana, he took a deep breath before exhaling a blue beam of freezing air, as he formed ice into a ramp at the very edge of the highway, just perfectly lined up to let the tanker slide down the icy ramp, but for safety sake Articguana let out a softer frost breath that covered the tanker in a layer of snow, and served to slow it down so it came to a nice stop in front of the alien, "Sorry for the sudden chill man," he waved to the driver, who was taking a relaxing breath to calm himself from the scare.
"WAI~/BABU~!" the twins and Myokoto cheered with the youngest of them clapping, the people that had been stuck in traffic cheering on for the actual Ben.
"Are you okay?" Noel asked the driver.
"Ah…yeah, thanks to Ben 10." he sighed, "That lunatic cosplayer up there almost blew us up!" he shouted, shaking his fist at Slapstrike.
"GH?!" Slapstrike tensed as he jumped back from Plugg, the Alternate Hokestar still recording the scene, "Uh…nice try in trying to ruin my image, Sporemax!"
"What's huh?" Plugg blinked in confusion.
"Improv…" 'Nukio' whispered.
"...what?" Plugg blinked again.
"...just think of something to say."
"..oh! Uh…well you foiled me, but you can't defeat my Techno Organicides!" Plugg declared.
"Techno…you used real Techno Organicides?!" 'Nukio' snapped.
"They make fake ones?" Plugg blinked before a lamppost suddenly fell over, a piece of the highway now missing as small red 'dots' could be seen within the hole.
"...okay that wasn't my fault that time," Slapstrike defended before declaring as he changed back into Deefus, "But fear not, I will stop this w-"
*BONK!*
"Not the time," 'Nukio' deadpanned as she lowered her hammer arm, Deefus literally trying to pull his head out of his body.
"That boy is gonna get himself in so much trouble…" Mayaka sighed.
"Okay, uh this is a new one to me. What are they and how do I fix this?" Arctiguana sighed as he finished making a pile of snow for the kids and Drei to play in.
"Well…Techno Organicides start small…then they begin to grow and eat away at things." Tsubaki explained.
"How did he even get these? They are banned on sixty planets," Rook noted.
"I know a guy." Plugg explained simply.
"Was it someone who works in the blackmarket?" Arctiguana asked.
"Hey, you know the same guy?" Plugg asked happily.
"Well…" Arctiguana began before a chunk of the highway collapsed and fell, thankfully it was the part closest to the Hokestar's ship so no immediate danger for the poor people trapped in this forced traffic jam. "...I think we found 'em…" he sighed, "Well that is not gonna be easy to fix…"
"I think I'm starting to remember why I fired my Plugg," Another Hokestar muttered.
"Yes I should've seen that coming…" Hokestar muttered.
"Ah…dang it…now I gotta get the stuff for that Roman Concrete…" Arctiguana grumbled as he tapped the Omnitrix to become Jetray, "I'll be back…" he flew off.
"BAH!" Deefus gasped as he finally pulled his head out of his buddy, "Ugh…I am so complaining to my agent about this…a star such as myself shouldn't be dealign with such hostility!"
"Excuse you?" 'Nukio' frowned as she morphed back into Lucy, "You're the one who knocked over the Gas Tanker! And you!" she pointed at Plugg next, "Why on Earth would you use actual Techno Organicides?!"
"I was playing da part!"
"Hah…" Lucy sighed, "Now I understand why Grandpa Max calls Earth Assignments as the elite level…"
"Mmm…"
=Ha. Ha. Ha= Plugg laughed as he was currently piloting a robot out in the woods…said robot looking like it was made out of old construction equipment =Now I have you corened Ben Bentennyson, with my creations, the…er…Technotron!=
"Such an intimidating giant, yes Mechanicus," Deefus noted as he held his chin in thought, "But…such a nefarious automaton is no match for…!" he began as he changed shape, changing into a large steam-roller based robot who…more or less looked like a knockoff Optimus, "Omnitrus Prime!"
"I can see a lawsuit in his future…" Mikoto deadpanned as the group sat underneath a large sunbrella to stay out of the sun.
"Eh, I prefer Grimlock and Soundwave," Ben shrugged, "Will give points on the steam roller motif."
"He phones in on the 'dramatic hero tone' too much," Jin muttered as Omnitrus Prime and Plugg's Technotron began to fight, "Plus his movements are sloppy…even for fake fighting."
"This isn't my prime," Makoto noted.
"What is yours?" Noel asked.
"Medium rare," Makoto joked.
"Ha! Nice one, pumpkin!" Mack laughed.
"Hopefully this time Plugg didn't bring anymore of those Techno Organicides," Max sighed.
"True…but…" Kajun began as Omnitrus Prime dodged Technotron's saw blade…resulting it in cutting down a tree as various animals began to flee from the scene, "...the battle is endangering the local wildlife."
"Why are there animals out here? I thought….wait…" Tsubaki began before she looked over at the two Hokestars, "What location did you two pick for this scene?"
"Oh that's easy. We…er…" Hokestar began before whispering to his alternate self, "What spot did we pick?"
"The fenced off area near the woods…Plugg suggested it and…oh…" Another Hokestar whispered in realization as his mustache drooped.
"...this is a nature preserve isn't it?"
"...yes."
"Wait, what?" 'Nukio' blinked as she landed near the two, looking out to see Omnitrus Prime smacking Technotron away with a tree..with various birds and smaller animals being sent flying, "AHH! STOP, YOU IDIOTS!"
"Can't talk, sidekick!" Omnitrus Prime declared as he blocked a punch from Technotron, "I will not stop until Mechanicus' monstrosity is turned into a pile of melted scrap!"
"Oh no," Tsubaki grimaced.
"What?" Max asked.
"Cute animals are in danger," Tsubaki pointed out.
"...oh…" Max realized.
"Oh dear..." Rook whispered.
"Noel w-" Ben began before he suddenly found Drei in his arms, "...oh no."
"Now, Technotron! Prepare to f-OW!" Omnitrus Prime yelped as he and Plugg's robot were suddenly pelted by a few shots, "Hey! I didn't call for a…!"
"HALT!" Noel snapped, In full uniform with her guns currently converted into a mini-gun as she aimed at the two…while on an armored Funkfreed, "YOU TWO ARE UNDER ARREST FOR PUTTING THE PRECIOUS CUTE ANIMALS OF A NATURE PRESERVE IN DANGER!"
"Awooo!" Drei howled as he covered his eyes with his little paws.
"Yeah…We know Drei." Ben sighed.
"She did this back on th' old nut farm and done saved our crop from some nasty product-stealin' varmints who spooked the twins as babies when they visited during break at the academy," Mayaka noted.
"I remember that," Kajun recalled, "...the lemonade was pretty good."
"Can someone help?!" Deefus exclaimed, completely changed back into his 'Ben' appearance as he and Plugg-who was still piloting the giant robot- fled from the currently livid Noel and Funkfreed.
"Oh dear! M-ms. Vermillion! This is n-" Hokestar began before he and his alternate self quickly ducked under some stray energy bullets, "Eep!" he peeked up, "On second thought…keep going, Ms. Vermillion!"
"Do we stop this?" Max asked.
"Give it another minute." Ben shrugged as he cycled through the Omnitrix, "I'll get to work fixing the trees." he handed Drei over to Kajun, before walking off and becoming Swampfire as he then began using his florakinesis abilities to repair all the damaged trees.
"And I'll go help wrangle up the animals," Max sighed, gaining his armor as he quickly ran off.
"Seriously, someone help!" Deefus yelled as he ran by, "That male extra is starting to scare me!"
"I'M A GIRL!" Noel snapped.
"Could've fooled me, buddy!"
"...legit question," Makoto spoke to Lucy as Deefus was now running faster as Noel changed her minigun into a rocket launcher, "Does this guy even think before he speaks his mind?"
"Nope."
"Is this normal for guys of your species?" Makoto asked.
"Well…I'm pretty sure only females have the ability to stop, think, learn and adapt." Lucy muttered, "The family wedding got crazy 'cause of at least three guys and one girl…so…"
"Yeah the math holds up." Makoto nodded.
"Aren't we gonna stop Noel before she makes the situation worse?" Kajun pointed out.
"Ah got this, darlin," Mayaka assured as she stood up, putting her thumb and pointer fingers in her mouth before she did a loud whistle, "Noel, Darlin! Ah'll let y'all hold Mykoto if you stop!"
"AH!" Deefus panicked as he braced for an incoming rocket…only for it to not come as he slowly opened his eyes…and saw a now completely calm Noel cooing over Mykoto as she held her in her arms, "...oh phew…I swear these extras are getting crazier…"
"Alright, the forest is back to almost good as new." Swampfire spoke up as he flashed back to Ben, "Oh good Noel calmed down."
"I might have gone a little overboard…" Noel giggled as Mykoto babbled happily before making her best explosion sounds, "Okay a lot." she sighed.
"To be fair…he kinda kept pushing all the wrong buttons…" Ben muttered.
"Okay I think my clones herded all the critters to a safe enough distance." Max spoke as he returned, "Probably a good idea to relocate though, find some place where we won't get fined for trespassing on protected land."
"We got tons of generic anime wastelands to use. It's where we go to do big explody training and tests" Ben offered.
"Told ya so." Makoto smirked.
"Yeah just ask Kajun and her last experiment to unlock a new Turbo mode armor for me. I think I still have the smell of C4 on me." Max laughed.
"Which is odd since I used nitroglycerin," Kajun muttered.
"...then let us hurry to the next scene!" the Hokestars declared.
"Hey boss…" Plugg began, poking out from behind the now wrecked pile of Technotron, "I was wonderin' fer the next scene..when I challenge Ben Bentennyson and declare 'lets dance, pretty boy,' mind if we make it a dance number? I've been practicing the sambo…"
"Oh lord…" Jin facepalmed at that.
"Heh heh. Let's see how you like it, when I have the local cacti attacking the city!" Plugg laughed as a group of…animatronic cacti stood behind him.
"Oh dear. This seems to be a prickly situation, Ben 10," 'Nukio' whispered as she stood with 'Ben', "What shall we do, partner?"
"Hmm…well if its a battle of plants he wants, then let's see how he deals with…" Feedus began as he changed into a large humanoid cactus, "El Pokio!"
=I'm getting severely irked by these 'hero' names= Steel muttered.
"Same," Jin couldn't' help but agree, "Also they keep reusing Plugg…no new outfits or anything to differentiate the villains."
"Probably because of a bad budget," Mikoto noted.
"Also the cacti look too goofy to be minions," Mukoto added, "Surprised the docs got th' money fer animatronics though."
"We got a good deal," the two Hokestar's replied.
"A local pizzeria was busy renovating that they wanted to buy some new animatronics," Hokestar explained.
"So we took the old ones off their hands and repurposed them~!" Another Hokestar beamed.
"So there's…absolutely nothing wrong with them?" Makoto cautiously asked.
"No. We made sure…"
"OW OW OW! Are those real needles?!" 'Nukio' yelped as she and El Pokio were now being pelted by a rain of cactus needles being fired by the cactus animatronics.
"Ha ha! That's right! Makes them even more menacing, wouldn't you say?!" Plugg mockingly laughed.
"You are c-OW! Cruel, El Stingo!"
"...alright. Who's turn is it this time?" Ben sighed.
"Not me…" Noel inched back with Drei in her arms once more.
"I ain't going out there," Makoto muttered.
"We're not going," Skurd muttered.

"...ugh. I'll do it," Jin sighed as he began to walk out, summoning Yukianesa as he began to unsheath it, "This is becoming an eye sore anyways…"
"Guess Jin's getting needled on by this long enough," Mack noted.
"Now they're gonna get th' cold shoulder," Mukoto snickered before father and son cracked up laughing.
"And to think it was such a nice day." Ben sighed.
"Drei, please don't bark out an ice pun…" Noel lifted Drei to make eye contact with her, the corgi tilting his head in confusion.
"Ha ha! Now Ben 10, prepare to s-!" Plugg began before the animatronic robots were cut apart, making him tense up…before a rain of needles literally swept over him, "..."
"Hmph…honestly," Jin scoffed as he sheathed his sword before booking down at the twitching robots, "...you literally equipped these animatronics with nail guns?"
"..."
"...Plugg? You alright?" Hokestar asked as Another Hokestar stopped filming.
"...yeah….It's good…" Plugg replied…before he fell over, "...I can't feel anything….still good."
"Seriously, will you extras stop butting in?!" Deefus snapped once he changed back to normal, currently trying to pick the needles out of his body, "I'm supposed to be the star here!"
"Those 'extras' kept saving your sorry butt whenever you or Plugg caused major accidents!" 'Nukio' snapped as she changed back into Lucy.
"No wonder the Plumbers had what could only be called a small war with your species if all men of the Lenopan race are this arrogant and selfish…" Jin sighed.
"Why do you think a female of my family married into the Tennyson family?" Lucy argued.
"...I suppose that's a fair point."
"Ugh now what?!" Deefus complained, "There's no one to play the villain now and again, I am sick and tired of these extras ruining the scenes!" he pulled out a bluetooth earbud as he began to walk off, "Hello, Simian? I'd like to talk to you about my next gig…and to tell the Hokestars to not let any extras get in my way again."
"Wait…his agent's Simian?" Ben blinked before groaning, "That explains so much…"
"...Arachnichimp?" Mayaka guessed.
"Yup…wait. How…"
"Varment tried to 'help promote' th' family business before ah bought a shop here in Bellwood...tried t' cut corners and fire mah employees fer robot ones."
"Cheaply made at that," Mack added.
"I swear I thought he was…oh…" Ben blinked in realization, "...I really hate that monkey."
"Well looks like he's earned the ire of both the Tennyson and Nanaya families…let the joint family blood feud begin." Max joked.
"Oh that is not funny, for all we know that might actually happen." Kajun complained.

"But I don't want to be a part of this!" Jin snapped.
"Yeah! Like I'd work with this two-bit hack!" Deefus agreed, earning an icy glare from Jin.
"Well...I suppose he'll have to turn down the chance then," Skurd shrugged.
"Chance?" Ben repeated.
"Yes…to prove who the better actor is."
"Sh…" Jin began before blinking, 'Wait…no no. Don't get absorbed into the madness…even if you want to show up this…ugh. Gaudy excuse of an actor…though…he proclaims to be Ben in this show…and he's had to deal with dime store villains…what if…' his thoughts began to grow colder as a smile began to form on his face, 'Yes…plus this would count showing up Tennyson…' "...Hokestars! I need a wardrobe!"

"Oh no…" Tsubaki groaned as she buried her face into her hands.
"I feel like this is more about me than it is this Doofus." Ben muttered.

"Should I get this on video for blackmail?" Max smirked to Kajun.
"Oh yes…" she smiled, "Mai is going to love this when I show her later."

"Okay…from the top again," Lucy sighed as she changed back into Nukio, everyone now standing within an empty pier with various empty crates and warehouses around it, "What did that letter say, partner?"
"I do not know..and I frankly do not like how mysteriously cryptic it is," Deefus stated with a frowned, "Regardless, whoever this new mystery villain is, I will deliver the mighty hammer of justice upon him, and strike him down like the nail of evil that he is!"
"Eck. Cringe," the twins gagged at that line.
"Shh!" Another Hokestar hushed the two as he focused the cameras on the scene.
"Now then, villain! Show yourself so that I may defeat you and save the day!" Deefus declared.
"...hm hm hm…vhy of course, heir Bentennyson," Jin's voice chuckled lowly, a german accent in his voice.
Soon an icy mist began to permeate the area, making everyone shiver a bit as a figure could be seen walking out of it. Standing within the mist was Jin..only now he seemed to be wearing an all black and icy-blue outfit akin to a military attire with multiple stars adorning his chest, a long black cape flowing behind him as he used his sword like a cane. To finish the look, he had a monocle over one of his eyes as he wore a cap over his blonde hair.
"...and who pray tell are you, purveyor of evil?" Deefus frowned.
"Heh…vell if you must know…I am ze greatest tactician ze galaxy has ever seen!" Jin declared as he tapped his 'cane' onto the floor, letting the sound echo throughout the area, "You vill bow before me zis day, hier Bentennyson, for you face me…Lt. Augustus Von Freezer!"
"Okay he is way too good at that." Makoto mused as everyone watched a distance away with a video feed to allow them to hear what was being said audibly.
"We were in the Drama club, remember?" Tsubaki reminded.
"That was mostly you, Jin, and Mai," Makoto muttered.
"I kinda feel bummed I never had a chance to do those things, but hero work was more important." Ben chuckled.
"Can we speed this up?" 'Nukio' whispered to 'Ben', "This cold is starting to make it hard to maintain this form."
"Same…" he whispered before dramatically pointing at Jin…or rather Lt Von Freezer, "Whatever insidious challenge you may bring, bring it! I will defeat you and put you away in a cell for a long time, bringer of injustice!"
"...hm hm hm hm hm….brrrrraaaaahahahahahahaha!" Lt. Von Freezer laughed loudly at that before tapping his 'cane' on the ground once more, "Du Idiot! Do not underestimate ze greatest mind of ze fatherland!"
"Does Jin watch anime? Because I swear he sounds…" Ben began.
"I don't want to know." Tsubaki stated.
"And recorded for blackmail." Kajun smiled as she put her phone down.
"Kajun!" Tsubaki hissed.
"Seriously, is it just me or is it getting cold out here?" Mukoto asked as he shivered a bit.
"Mmm…cold~" the twins whimpered as they hugged their father.
"...professors, you didn't buy a cold machine did you?" Noel asked the two Hokestars.
"No of course not," they shook their heads.

"Observe!" Lt. Von Freezer declared as he swung his 'cane', causing the icy mist to dissipate as it revealed what looked like a large snowball shaped into a bomb, a timer counting down below it, "Vhat you see, Heir Bentennyson is ze latest in German engineering! Ze Eisbombe!"
"Heh..and what pray tell is your little snowball going to do? Give us a nice day of winter?" 'Ben' joked with a confident smirk.
"No. You see I have always enjoyed traveling ze mountains of ze fatherland, letting ze cool breeze wash over me like my mother's gentle touch…and I figured, 'Vhy should ze rest of ze world not feel this very embrace as vell, hmm?' Even Russia and Tibet feel zis feeling every day…but not places like America, heir Bentennyson!" Jin exclaimed before pointing to the timer, "In exactly thirty minutes, ze Eisbombe will go off and explode, covering ze entire city in a beautiful powder of snow und ice!"
"Oh that is menacing..." Rook whispered, "And the snow structure really does look all...too...real..."
"Kajun…he's joking right…tell me he's joking." Tsubaki turned to her genius friend to debunk this as just overzealous acting.
"Uhm…" she pulled out a small laptop and attached a camera as it began scanning everything, "Well okay I have news…the good news is it will not freeze over the city."
"Oh…"
"Bad news is…it will in fact explode…and cover a chunk in solid blue ice…" Kajun added, "And we are…within the blast zone."
"...I'm going to kill him." Tsubaki stated with a frustrated eye twitch.
"Ha! You really think I'm gonna fall for that bluff?!" 'Ben' laughed, "Surely you must be dreaming a frosty dream, Von Frosty!"
"It's Lt. Von Freezer, you incompetent Sohn eines Schweins!" Lt. Von Freezer snapped.
"Heh…still, let's see how you deal with….with…" 'Ben' began as he tried to change…only for nothing to happen, "...uh oh."
"..." 'Nukio' blinked as she tried to transform herself, only to end up with the same result, "...uh oh."
"Vhat's wrong? Having trouble transforming, Heir Tennyson?" Lt. Von Freezer smirked before pointing his cane at 'Ben,' "My Eisbombe has released a icy mist so cold, it froze ze inside of your precious watch, so now you vill have to fight like a veak baby within a fierce blizzard storm! BRRAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Okay this is starting to become way too real now," Deefus whispered in pure worry.
"Professors, I think we need to stop filming!" Lucy exclaimed to the two Hokestars.
"...we could…or…" Hokestar began.
"Oh don't you dare…"
"We keep recording!" Another Hokestar declared, "Children these days love the whole 'anime' thing don't they? This will be perfect for some over the top action!"
"Hah…" Ben sighed, "Okay we gotta bonk Jin back to normal."
"I give you permission to go all out." Tsubaki stated.
"Max, go help with the new mode we developed." Kajun smiled, "I could use the data."
"Okay, but for the record, I am only doing this to protect you guys and the kids." Max sighed, jumping up as he formed his helmet.
"...Don't read into that, Noel," Kajun instantly stated.
"But he said…" Noel began.
"'You guys and the kids'...again, don't read into it."
"...I'm gonna still think about it," Noel whispered to herself as Drei nuzzled against her for warmth, "Good boy…" she held him close.
"So we need to melt the bomb and stop Jin," Max sighed as he and Ben walked forward.
"I could handle it with Heatblast, but Kajun wants you to do something new?" Ben asked.
"That's right, we got a new form that we never have a chance to use." Max gave a thumbs up, "You take care of the Frozen Fuhrer, I'll melt the bomb down."
"Don't go giving him better names for his character." Ben laughed, "Alright, I'll take care of him. For the sake of his pride, I'll make it big and flashy," he dialed the Omnitrix, "Hey…I got an idea." he began whispering to Max who laughed in excitement.
"Let's do it!" They cheered, bumping fists as Green and Blue flashes filled the area.
"Knock em' dead, babe!" Makoto cheered.
"Vhat's wrong, Heir Bentennyson? Scared are ve?" Lt. Von Freezer smirked at Deefus and Lucy as the timer began to count down, "As you should. I've rendered your ability to transform useless, and you have no means to defend yourself aside from zat pathetic little weapon of yours."
"Hey! D-don't mock the claw of courage!" Deefus argued…despite his legs completely shaking.
"Brrrahahahahahah! Your legs say otherwise!" Lt. Von Freezer cackled before he unsheathed his sword, "But if you are wanting to be brave…zen I will give you such an honor in combat!" he declared as he slashed forward, sending out an ice cutting wave at the two.
"AHH!" Deefus freaked as he shot behind Lucy.
"OH YOU…!" Lucy began in anger before something deflected the cutting wave, "?!"
"...Who dares…?" Lt. Von Freezer frowned.
"Don't act so humble," Max spoke as the dust/icy mist settled to reveal him standing on Gravattack in planet form, "You have been judged guilty of countless crimes to sentient life!"
"Your crimes have summoned us to help save the lives you endangered," Gravattack smirked, "We of the Galactic Police Force are here to bring you in for judgment!" he moved around to wink at Lucy, "Leave this to us squishy organics, your bodies can't survive such extreme frigid temperatures."
"...Fair enough," Lucy nodded as she quickly ran off…before coming back as she began to push a shivering, absolutely terrified Deefus, "That goes for you too, dingus…"
"Now we begin the trial!" Max declared dramatically as he raised his arms up for some showmanship, "You won't need any defense, Lt. Von Freezer, your judgment is…"
"Guilty!" Both of them shouted as Gravattack landed in his humanoid form, Max jumping off as he crossed his arms and changed forms.
Max's armor expanded and bulked up, his chest armor becoming thicker before several vents opened up along his sides and began glowing with orange heat, his shoulder armor became large and rectangular, pointing up, a backpack matching the shoulder pauldrons formed as long tubes extended from his backpack into now massive blaster like gauntlets. His legs became wider as vents opened along the sides of his boots. Max's helmet changed as the blue formed one large screen with two breather like nozzles forming along the sides of his helmet. Orange flames ignited from his shoulders and the sides of his legs before the barrels of his gauntlets blasted out jets of fire.
Gravattack smirked, reaching up to the Omnitrix on his head and twisting it. Orange colored armor spread across his body, with it forming a solid mask with green eyes and a mouthguard with an angular pattern that resembles fangs, black armor formed around his abdomen with a green dome forming over his core. Black armor formed around his shoulder with multiple green ports forming in a diamond pattern, white armor formed along his arm leading to giant orange gauntlets, each glowing with two green spheres, with black fingers poking through the gauntlets. Finally, black and orange armor formed around his legs as two thrusters lifted Gravattack up into the air.
"...Sis, what is that?! What is that and why is it so cool?!" Mukoto asked his eldest sister in excitement.
"Kakui~!" the twins awed with stars in their eyes.
"That…is Omni-Kix," Makoto grinned at Mukoto and the twins' reactions.
"Now…" Gravattack smirked, bashing his fists together as all the green accents began glowing, "Let us begin the sentencing!" he swung his hand down and made Lt. Von Freezer grunt as he was forced face first to the ground, "That is the weight of your sins Lt. Tell me when you can no longer bear the burden."
"I got the bomb!" Max shouted as he aimed his arms and unleashed twin jets of fire, "Let's give it all we got! Maximum Power!" the flames condensed tightly like two jet burners as they swallowed the ice bomb up entirely.
"Oh they are just having fun with this now." Makoto giggled.
"Given how well Ben can pretend to be evil for a training mission…I am not surprised how much of a showman he is." Kajun smiled.
"I don't like thinking of those exercises…" Noel shivered.
"He got really….scary in those," Tsubaki admitted with her own shiver.
"Arf!" Drei barked as he watched the scene with a happy look and excited pants, letting his tongue hang out.
"Nien…nien!" Lt. Von Freezer exclaimed as he tried to force himself up, "Stop it, you fools!"
"Sorry can't hear ya, but please do send any and all complaints to our bureau's complaints department and expect a response in twenty galactic cycles," Max replied.
"I…said…STOP!" Lt. Von Freezer snapped as he jammed his sword into the ground, unleashing a massive wave of sharp ice from all sides as it began to sweep over the area.
"AHH!" Makoto panicked, grabbing the twins and Mukoto as she and the others quickly jumped on top of a steel crate, barely avoiding the ice wave as it completely froze the ground.
"Whoo...that was close," Mack whispered, holding his wife in his arms as Mikoto hung off his shoulder.
"Jin, you are in so much trouble!" Tsubaki snapped as Kajun moved off her.
"Starting to think this episode isn't worth it," Another Hokestar whispered as Noel helped him up.
"Are you mad? …We might be able to turn a profit off this!" Hokestar snapped, "This is free special effects! We literally can't lose money!"
"Oh you're right…! I refuse to quit, so let's keep the show rolling~!"
"Seems you are determined to fight back," Gravattack spoke as he swung his hand up and sent Lt. Von Freezer up into the sky. He then snapped his fingers as a section of the Omnitrix opened up and a bit of metal popped up to turn into a small metallic Skurd.
"Mmmmhahahaha! You fools! I do have a part in this system!" he laughed as the same twisted Omnitrix insignia formed on his little metal suit. With an Omnitrix flash, he popped off before transforming into a large blaster, colored in orange with heat emitting from the barrel.
"Now…just float there for a second, Lieutenant." Gravattack smirked, aiming the Skurd Weapon.
"Mmmhahahaha…just so you know…I'm not set to tickle~" Skurd laughed, forming a massive fireball.
"Should we help Jin?" Makoto asked.
"...They earned this after that ice attack." Tsubaki argued, "Also, do you forgive him for almost hitting your siblings?"
"Ben! MAKE IT HURT!" Makoto ordered.
"You heard the lady…let it rip, Skurd," Gravattack smirked as they fired a massive beam of fire which enveloped their overacting friend and slammed into the stream of fire Max shot at the Ice Bomb, both flames merging…and causing an explosion.
"Uh…Jin's alive, right?" Max whispered as they lowered their literal firearms.
"Hasenfeffer…" Jin whispered in a daze tone, completely covered in burn marks and soot as he landed in a large puddle of water while Yukianesa clattered on the floor.
"No lie, he and his brother are built of some tough stuff…" Gravattack muttered.
"Well that ends our usefulness here." Max chuckled.
"Back to the grind partner." Gravattack spoke, folding into planet mode again, lifting Jin with his gravity abilities and left him orbiting around him.
"Till next time Heroes of Earthville!" Max reverted to his base form before jumping on Gravattack before they floated off into the sky and out of camera range.
"Aaaaaand cut!" Hokestar declared as his alternate self lowered the cameras, "Oh this is gonna be a brilliant episode!"
"Incoming!" Gravattack shouted as Jin was dropped on the metal crate, a green flash going off as Ben landed next, followed by Max, "Sorry…ran out of charge before I could drop down closer." Ben chuckled.
"Mmmhhp…" Jin gave a weak growl at that.
"Yeah, yeah. I know.. .curse me and all that."
"...heh. Well it's a good thing I called them f-" Deefus began with a confident smirk, both him and Lucy standing on top of a separate crate.
"Cameras are off, dingusberry," Lucy deadpanned.
"Let me have this!"
"You mean the win my cousin and his friend got because their 'friend' got too into his role as a badguy?"
"To be fair, we're still working on the friend thing…he's more just our friend's boyfriend!" Ben called out.
"He's pretty and fights good…that's really all we need him for," Max added with a laugh.
"Jin…what have you learned from the first degree burns?" Tsubaki asked.
"Mmmm…"
"...Jin…"
"...to not act petty and envision that gaudy actor as Tennyson just to get a win…"
"Well I think this has been a day of fun as is," Ben sighed, "I'm not watching this show by the way."
"Same," Makoto smiled, "Why watch the knock-off when I got the original at home? Besides, my version is way better looking."
"Well aren't you charming?" Ben smirked.
"Oh get a room," Max laughed.
"I'm afraid they will once we get home," Kajun smirked.
"Lies!" Makoto panicked, recalling her parents and little siblings were no more than 10 feet away.
"Ah you kids go enjoy yourselves," Mack chuckled a bit, "I was plannin' a fishing trip with Carl and Grandpa Tennyson in the morning anyways! See what the local fish are like!"
"Why would Ben-Nii and…" the twins began.
"Not until you're older," Mikoto and Mayaka instantly replied.
"Aww~"
"No fair~"
"I know how ya feel…" Mukoto muttered.
"Well, teasing aside…" Ben chuckled, "I'm sure the Professors have a long night of editing ahead of them."
"Lucy, would you like to join us for dinner?" Noel offered.
"Yes, please!" she smiled, using her abilities to extend her legs and step closer to them and to get away from the crazy of this show's production.
"Great! I think it's La-chan's turn to fix dinner tonight anyways."
"Great!" she smiled...before whispering to Rook, "Who's..."
"Her sister."
"Ahh."
"Ooh, I could eat," Kajun smiled, "I have data to observe and a video to share with the others."
"Sounds good to me," Max added, "Plus it's Lambda cooking, so you know it's gonna be good."
=As long as I don't have to bear witness to anymore of this show= Steel muttered =...but I did get juicy blackmail~=
"Oi…" Tsubaki rolled her eyes as she helped Jin up, "I'll take Jin back to HQ to get healed up…I'll join you guys eventually."
"Try not to detour for chocolate again," Ben joked, picking Makoto up by surprise as he began to walk off.
"...Honestly the one time and he never lets me live it down…" Tsubaki sighed.
'...I'm so firing my agent after today…' Deefus thought in annoyance.
SZ: And done…yet another episode we fixed from Omniverse because…hoo this was a trainwreck..especially the villain of that episode because Deefus called him to Earth…
Z0: Well it was a good first half, not so keen on the latter half, but it's best we not dwell on that. We just made our own thing and had fun.
SZ: Hai..and we like writing this story for fun….speaking of, only 4 more chapters to go until we hit 100. Can we make it in time for the 4th anniversary?
