Chapter 4: Scream Team Rally.
Gojira and Kong are sitting on their desks next to each other, with Lagoona sitting next to the Prehistoric Titan while Frankie sitting next to the Primate Titan. They are preparing for a lesson called Mad Science as a teacher at the front was about to start his teaching. A science teacher is a round-sized Human with a stitched up mask over his head and few rotten teeth's sticking out. He wears an a red button up shirt along with a white tie with black dots on it, wears an apron, black trousers and brown shoes.
The Monsters calls him Mr Hackington, or Mr Hack for short, and he's known for teach anything that is science, like Mad Science and Biteology for example. He's also known for setting up strict rules and surprise tests when they're least expected and sends out harsh punishments when they're either late or fail. But he also has the positive side of him, for example his enthusiasm for science is somewhat entertaining, more entertaining than that Substitute Teacher that the Titan had to deal with.
Mr Hack slams his cleaver on his desk as the blade stuck steep. Silencing the students when they hear the sound of the blade. Mr Hack clap his hands together and begins to teach/torture his students.
"Todays Lesson," Mr Hack begins with a British accent as he came to the large bottle of glass that was on his desk, hands on the glass as he look at the multiple of three eyed frogs. "Dissection."
Not even a seconds later, Lagoona gasp in horror as she look at the trapped frog Monsters in the large bottle of glass. Gojira who is sitting right next to her look at a Salt Water Monster with his eyebrow raised. Lagoona look at the frogs with a tearful look in her eyes as one of the frog Monsters look back at her.
"Poor little green bros. Does our hearts not beat the same? Does not the same green blood flows through our vain?" She said tearfully as her eyes starts to water, same goes to a frog Monster who's also tearing. They look at one another in a small silence until a frog Monster slither out it's tongue and made a long croak, wanted to be saved along with it's fellow frog Monsters and not being brutally dissected. "This is so wrong."
"You wish to save them?" Gojira asked her, which she nodded.
"I do, Gojira, more than anything." Lagoona replied as she look at him as well as Kong and Franke with a pleaded look. "I need all your help. Can you three please assist me of saving them?"
"How are we suppose to save them?" Kong ask her, getting their attention. "I don't want to sound offensive, but if we do something, we will get in trouble and Mr Hackington will punish us."
Frankie giggle as Kong and the others look at her, wondering why she's giggling. "You don't need to worry about that, Kong. All we need is a little 'helping hand'."
"And what do you mean by 'helping hand'?" Kong asked looking at her curiously.
Frankie giggled again as she raised her left arm and grab a hold of her stiches of her left wrist. "This." She pulled a string from her left wrist and her hand suddenly came off from her arm. Then suddenly a hand came alive and then crawled down the stairs like a spider.
Kong blinked in surprise by this, he knew that Frankie can able to detached her limb parts, but for the past two weeks this is the first he ever see her done it, and seeing the hand come alive is indeed truly fascinating. Same goes with Gojira who's thinking the same thing.
Frankie's hand crawl towards Mr Hack who's opened his closet full of weapons and sharp equipment to prepare his upcoming lesson. A hand went up to the science teacher and started to tickling him all over his back, coursing the Science Teacher to laugh uncontrollably while reaching his back to stop whatever's making him laugh.
With Mr Hack now distracted, Frankie's hand now crawled up to the side of the room, jumping on the blue case and crawled up to the glass full of slit-pupil eyeballs. A hand grab one of the eyeball and throws it at the student, the first was none other than Cleo. An eyeball hit Cleo on the head coursing her to look on with annoyance. A hand kept on throwing and sooner or later everyone is starting throwing each other, while Mr Hack was so busy laughing he didn't realise what his student are doing.
While Frankie and Lagoona were under the desks avoiding the incoming eyeballs, Gojira and Kong were just sitting there with a dumbfounded expression. They couldn't process the absolute absurdity of this unusual conflict and questioning how this really works. Soon Gojira slowly came to his senses and his eye twitched in confusion.
"This is ridiculous." Gojira commented, still trying to figure out what was happening. He then caught the incoming eye with his claws without even looking, looking at the person who's throw it at him and it is none other then Heath Burns, who look a little nervous. Gojira narrowed his eyes at the Flame Monster before throwing the eye back at him which hits his face, earning an 'Ow!' from the flame boy. He then realise he has done the same thing as the others did, which caused him to growl in irritation.
Kong duck under the incoming eyeballs and turn to face Frankie. "This is what you mean by 'helping hand'?"
"Yep." Frankie said with a giggle. "Oh! Lagoona has made her move."
The Titans turn to where Lagoona was sitting and she was not there. They quickly look around and saw Lagoona walking towards a large bottle of glass full of frog Monsters. She snatched the large bottle from the teacher's desk and quickly got out of the classroom, passing the laughing Science Teacher who didn't notice she has left the classroom. It seems to the Titans that the way to free the three eyed frogs is a success.
After a while of throwing eyeballs at each other, the school bell was heard telling them that the lesson was over. The students cheered and quickly got out of the Mad Science classroom, with Gojira and Kong soon follow behind them simply walking, as they still trying to understand of what just happened.
Soon Mr Hack recovered from his laughter and made his way to the desk. He look at where the students are sitting and realised that they're gone, just an empty classroom with bouncy eyeballs on either the desk or on the floor.
"Oi! Where did everyone go?!" Mr Hack asked loudly, after a few moments he sighed as the eyeballs stopped bouncing. "Class dismiss."
After an 'interesting' event that's happened in Mad Science, Gojira and Kong are searching for Lagoona and possibly Frankie who hasn't been seen since they left. After a while of searching they finally ably to locate the Salt Water Monster who's lay her back on one of the lockers, dusting her hands while smiling with accomplishment.
"Lagoona." Gojira call out gaining a accomplish looking Lagoona attention. "I assume you took the creatures to another location?"
"You could say that, mate." She replied feeling victorious after what she did.
"So where did you send them?" They turn and saw Frankie came over while stitching up her hand to her arm, wanted to know of where the frog Monsters are.
"I found a place where they can chill." Lagoona answered as they heard a horrified scream coming from the girl toilet.
They saw the girls coming out of toilet screaming in fear, in one of the toilet few frog monsters peek out as one of them hop on the edge. A three eyed frog Monster flickered his tongue and made a loud, long croak before the girl toilet door closes.
Gojira stared at Lagoona and raise an eyebrow at her. "You couldn't just put them in the pool, or in the forest no less?"
"It doesn't seem to be quite the environment for them to be in." Kong added as he look at the girls toilet with a little concern for the three eyed frogs.
Lagoona couldn't help but giggle. "Don't worry, I will be putting them back where they truly belong. But for now, we shall let them be." She push herself from the locker and look at the Titans and Frankie. "I should go to the Indoor Pool and practice swimming. See you later, mates."
Lagoona left the group, leaving only Gojira, Kong and Frankie remaining.
"I'm gonna go get change to my Fearleading uniform and go to the Indoor Gym." Frankie informed them.
"Isn't that where the Casketball event taking place?" Kong asked remembered hearing about a Casketball sports game taking place during lunch, which is actually right now.
Frankie nodded with a cheerful hum. "Me, Cleo and the Ghouls will be cheering the Monster High Casketball Team. Are you two coming to see the sport event?"
The two Titans thought about it for a moment, deciding whether or not they should watch the so call 'game' or not. They may not be into something like this, but it wouldn't hurt to watch right? So after a moment of thinking they turn to face Frankie.
"Sure, I'll come." Kong answered, making Frankie's bolts flared up in excitement.
"I'll come as well, might as well see what the Casketball is like." Gojira agreed, wanted to see if the Casketball game is as good as they say it is. Kong told him he tried it and saw it first hand and he said that it's an interesting activity, but he like to see it for himself.
"Great! I'll see you there." Frankie waved them farewell as she runs runs off, leaving the two Titans alone.
After a moment of silence, Kong turn to Gojira and spoke. "You really want to see the Casketball game? You normally don't go to somewhere that doesn't peek your interests."
"You told me what it was like when you gone there to consider joining, I might as well see if this Casketball game is as good as they say it is." Gojira respond, given his fellow Titan his honesty.
"Okay, if you say so." Kong said before they walk towards the Indoor Gym where the event taking place. Kong later asked another question. "What's the next lesson we're having after lunch?"
"I believe we were having Clawculus next, but we're most likely have free period since Mr Mummy hasn't returned yet." Gojira informed him as he narrowed a little. "He's been missing for days."
Kong look down and frown by what the Alpha Titan has said. Mr Mummy, the teacher of Clawculus and a head of the club that they heard of, have gone missing by the day after he helped Frankie reforming the Fearleading Squad.
Mr Mummy was a well respected Monster that is passionate about maths and brings hard work to bring the same enthusiasm in his students. But for some reason he went missing possibly in the Catacombs, an underground sewer-like cavern that's full of dangerous monsters that no one surprisingly died in there for a long time. Few of his followers of his club went in to find him, but they too went missing as well, which brings great worry to the student body as well as suspicion to the two Titans.
Kong doesn't know why yet, but for some odd reason he's having a strange feeling that there's something very dangerous in the Catacombs, something very familiar that is lurking around in the underground. Kong wanted to go in to see what he could find what coursing the missing Monsters, but Headmistress Bloodgood made it clear that no one can't go to the Catacombs until further notice, much to his annoyance. He cannot shake the feeling, and he's praying that something in the Catacombs is not what he was thinking.
Kong shook his head, trying to put that thought aside as he look at Gojira. "Lets just go to the Indoor Gym, the Casketball game should start at any minute."
Gojira look at him and nodded. He understands that they can discuss about the disappearance of Mr Mummy and few of his followers later and just focus on the game that's taking place in the Gym.
The two Titans are sitting on the benches with lot of Monsters as they watch the game taking fold. They watch as the Monster High Casketball team lead by Clawd Wolf playing against the other team that what appears to be from a different school, given the different set of clothing that they wear. It seems to them that Clawd's team are practically winning as the opposing team are close behind.
"This is how the Casketball is played?" Gojira questioned, watching one teams bouncing the ball while the other team was trying to get it off one of them. He look on with a conflicted look. "I don't know whether I should be impressed or disappointed."
"Clawd once said that these sports games, including this, is a friendly conflict that doesn't need to be any bloodshed." Kong informed him. He asked Clawd about the sports since he never heard of these before, which of course got a surprised look from a Werewolf and he was happy to tell him what it's all about.
"Well... I guess it's better than just fighting for either dominance or senseless conflicts." Gojira said almost being honest. He then look over to the Fearleading Squad and what he saw coursed him to raise an eyebrow. "What are they doing?"
Kong look over and saw what the Frankie and the Fearleading Squad were doing. They seem to be standing on top of each other by the shoulders. With Frankie and Clawdeen on the bottom, Cleo on the middle and Draculaura on the top, with one of her leg raised high. The Two Titans look on with confusion, wondering just what were they doing. There didn't have an answer as Mr Hack cam into the Gym with a blue tray with red sausages that are seems to be... pumping?
Mr Hack took out one of the pumping sausages and raise it to the air. "Blood Sausages! Get them while they still beating."
Upon seeing the pumping red sausage, Draculaura started to feel dizzy by hearing the word 'blood' and eventually falls down. And caught off guard, Clawd unknowingly catches a young Vampire but drop the ball in the process. A buzz was heard around the Gym and the game was over, with Clawd's team lost the round and the opposing team won the match. The Monster that are watching booed at what has transpired, with the Fearleading Squad looking bad after the stunt they just pulled.
Two Titan look on, with Gojira raised an eyebrow of what he saw. "What just happened to Draculaura?"
"From what I heard from Frankie, Draculaura is what they call 'a vegetarian' and doesn't stand the sight of meat. And whenever saw sees them, she tends to faint." Kong answered, felling sympathy for the young Vampire.
"Seriously?" Gojira look at the Primate Titan and then look at the depressed Vampire who's seems to be crying at the side of the wall. He wondered why would anyone not eat Meat when he learned it is one of the most important sustenance of the body, but then again he feeds on radiation before changed to a new form so who is he to judge.
Kong felt sorry for a young Vampire and left his seat to try to comfort her, but he was beat by a mile away by none other than Heath Burn. This course Kong to growl silently and narrowed his eyes at the Flame Monster, he decided to follow and hear what Heath would say to her. If he say something that upset her, he will teach him his place.
"That... was... CLAWSOME!" Heath shouted. "Your should've seen your face. Bam! Total ownage! I think some kids have already posted a video of it on Fright-Tube!"
They way Heath Burn have said and the mocking expressions on his face course Kong's blood to boil in pure rage. He growled menacingly as he's about to walk over and teach him the Flame Monster some discipline, until he was stop by someone putting a hand on his shoulder. He turns to see who's holding him and saw it was Clawd with a reassuring smile.
"Don't worry, Kong. I got this." Clawd assured him as he walk past Kong who's calm down a bit as he let a young Werewolf do whatever it is he's doing.
"How could I Agree to go to the Scream Team Rally with a jerk like you?!" Draculaura questioned with an upset and angered tone as Heath got close to her placing his hand on a wall with a smirked face.
"You don't." Clawd's voice was heard behind Heath as his smirk disappeared, Clawd look at Draculaura with a smile. "I'll take you."
"Tell Heath I'd go with Him?" Draculaura asked in a frustrated yet pleaded tone.
"Hey Burns." Clawd said to the Flame by almost coldly as he place his hands on a wall while leans in closer. "Cool if she goes with me instead?"
Heath was chuckling nervously as started to back up a bit. "Ur, yeah, o-of course, Clawd. I mean, whatever."
He soon walks away from the two was about to leave. Heath soon look at Kong who's look at him with a menacing look and growled at him, coursing him to turn pale and quickly leave the Gym.
Clawd Smirked and turn to Draculaura with a kind smile. "It settled then. Pick you up at 6."
"O-okay!" Draculaura said feeling thankful and excited that she she's able go with someone special to her and not with Heath. Unfortunately, didn't go unnoticed by Clawd's sister.
"So, your going to the dance with my brother, huh?" Clawdeen asked with her arms crossed while looking at her suspiciously.
Draculaura didn't say anything but smiled at her nervously and blinked innocently.
Meanwhile, Clawd goes up to Kong with a kind smile on his face.
"I really appreciated you trying to help your friends, big respect, dude." Clawd complimented him as Kong huff in annoyance.
"A shame Heath Burns doesn't have any respect, in fact, proper manner when he's talking to others." Kong growled, his fist clenching and his teeth gritting.
"I'm sure Heath will learn proper manners and respect when it comes, so don't you worry about that." Clawd said while raising his fist at Kong, waiting for a fist bump.
Kong Fist bump him back, already learned how to do that when he teach him how to do it. Kong respects Clawd, just like his sister Clawdeen, he sticks up for his friends and comrades. They always get along as well whenever they talk to one another. "I want to say... good job on the Casketball event."
Clawd chuckled. "Thanks, dude. I really appreciated." Clawd thanked Kong before sighing. "Though I wish we could've won the match."
"There's always next time, right?" Kong asked him, which got a chuckle from a Werewolf.
"Yeah, always next time." Clawd responded as he look up to Kong. "So, are you and Gojira going to Scream Team Rally tonight?"
Kong nodded. "We are. I managed to get Gojira to come along. He's sometimes hard to convince."
"I can see that." Clawd chuckled before walking past Kong. "I'll see you at the rally."
Kong nodded as he saw him leave the Gym before walks off and made his way to Gojira, who's walking towards him with few blood sausages each in both of his claws.
"What did you and Clawd talked about?" Gojira asked as he raise his arm forward offer him the blood sausages to the Primate Titan.
Kong took the sausages from Gojira's claws. "Not much to know, beside seeing us in the Scream Team Rally."
"I see." Gojira stated as he took a full bite on the sausages. "So, now with the Casketball Event has ended, where do you think we'll head next?"
Kong hummed a little as he ate one of the sausages, Gojira seems to trust him enough to go to there next. He couldn't think of something so instead he said. "I suppose we should go our separate ways for now, until the Scream Team Rally."
"Fine by me." Gojira Nodded before ate the last sausage and leaving the Indoor Gym. "Until we meet again."
Kong nodded to him until he he turns around and walk over to Frankie, who's walking up to him with a sweet smile.
"Hey Kong." Frankie greeted as Kong nodded back. "What do you have after lunch?"
"Clawculus, but since Mr Mummy went missing in the Catacombs I got free period." Kong answered while ate the last sausage in his hand.
"My Ghoul, I heard about that, and the others in his club went missing too." Frankie said looking worried and sad for the missing teacher and students. "I do hope that they're okay."
"I don't see that's the case." Kong thought looking grimly at the thought of the Monsters went missing in a Catacombs. There's a high possible chance that they're killed under there. By what, he wasn't so sure.
But he hoped that the ones that's got them is not what he think it is. And if one of them, or worse, he is already here, then Monster High could be in danger for all he know.
(The Catacombs)
Somewhere in the Catacombs near the school, a lone teenage Monster was running for his life with absolute fear in his eyes. He's trying to find a way out of the underground sewer-like cavern and tell the school of what happened, before these horrified creatures get them like the others he was with.
The only reason why he's in the Catacombs because he's one of the last remaining members of Mr Mummy's club and want to find him and the other members that went missing, despite the Headmistress states that no one should go to the Catacombs. He and his friends ignored Bloodgood's warning and went in hoping to search there missing club leader and their missing members. And when they're close to finding their answers, they've been jumped by Monsters that they've never seen before, and they killed and eat his friends without any remorse, just pure savage and cold blooded.
Now he's running, in hopes of getting out of this cursed place as well as losing these creature that are chasing them, as he can here the noises of growl, hiss, and snarls coming from behind and getting louder, getting closer. He needed to lose them quickly or else he will share the same fate as his friends did, he needed to hide.
He stop mid way in the big hall with pillars all around and look around to find any hiding spot for him to cover. He hears noises coming and was getting louder coursing him to panic, so instead he rush forward and hid behind one of the pillars, the one with doesn't support the top of the ceiling. He was breathing heavily by the running he done and try to calm himself down.
His breathing stops when he heard movements in the hall of pillars. He was sweating nervously, his heart stopped as he heard something crawling around while hearing a few growls and hisses that goes through this very area. He took a peek behind the pillars and saw the very same creatures that got his friends, two large creatures along with several small ones. The tongue slithered out from one of the large skull-faced creature's jaw before hissing at their fellow creatures. The new Monsters hiss back as they all gone off, scattered around looking for their escape prey.
He pulled his head back away from the edge of the pillar his was hiding on as he hears them crawling in the hall of pillars, he is downright terrified and wanted to run away, but if he do that they will kill him without a second thought, or worse he could lead them to the school which is not far from here. All he has to do is stay from is hiding place and wait to see if these horrified Monsters have left. He then notice that he couldn't hear the movement from the creatures and peek out again, only to see that there no one their. he move his head away and lay back with a relief sigh, happy to know that these terrifying creatures has gone.
But his relief was cut short when he hears a growl coming from the top, and the saliva dripping on his head. He paled in pure white and slowly look up, only to see a small, skull-face creature peering at him at the top of the damage pillar that he's attempted to hide.
He screamed in pure terror as a creature lunged at him, pouncing on top of him and bite hard on his head with it's pointed jaw. The boy's scream continued throughout the dark, haunted Catacombs until his it is stopped in silence, followed by the quenching liquid noise as well as a high pitched roar.
(Monster High, Scream Team Rally Event.)
Outside the back of Monster High, Gojira and Kong are standing in front of the entrance of a festival that banner on top said 'SCREAM TEAM RALLY'. The sun has now settled and the sky's turned black with stars shining in an endless void of space. The two Titans saw the event at night and what they saw was lights shines around and over the festival, shop-like activities are around the large wooded area and seeing Monsters entering in.
"I must say, this 'Scream Team Rally' is indeed intriguing." Gojira started before turn to face Kong beside him. "But I still don't know why you want me to come along."
"We still need to learn more about this world and it's culture if we need to bland in with the rest of the population." Kong answered. "Plus, I know well enough that you don't want to be part of something like this. This event could be best for the both of us."
Gojira narrowed his eyes at him before letting off a growling sigh. It's true that he doesn't want to go somewhere that doesn't peek his interest and he always like to be alone at times. But the Primate Titan is correct though, going to places like like this event would be beneficial for the both of them. As long as it doesn't waste his time, then he wouldn't mind.
"Let's just get this over with." Gojira said as he and Kong walk towards the entrance of the festival to explore the area.
During their time there they saw lots of Monsters participating a lot of activities from the shop-like games. While it is interesting to look at, they couldn't see themselves doing stuff like this. They continue walking around trying to find a familiar faces like Frankie, Lagoona or so on since to them they're the trusted Monsters they know so far, until someone call out to him.
"Yo Gojira, Kong!"
The two Titans look who's calling to them and saw Deuce waving his hands to them. They walk up to the young Gorgon as they know him since the first day at Monster High.
"So how's your time in the Scream Team Rally?" Deuce ask them.
"It is... interesting to say the least." Gojira replied with Kong nodded in agreement.
Deuce smiled at the Titans in front of them until he notice someone behind them from the distance. It was his girlfriend looking down and sad and was not in her Fearleading uniform, which confused and worried him. "Hey, there's Cleo."
Gojira and Kong look behind them and seeing Cleo looking down in sadness. Gojira wondered. "What's wrong with her?"
"I don't know. Lets ask her." Deuce said as they towards over to the young Mummy. Cleo didn't bother looking who's coming as Deuce asked her. "Hey. Don't you have a cheer that you're getting ready for?"
"What's the point. If we don't get into Gloom Beach Fear Camp, none of this matters." Cleo said while holding up a neckless that his a weird letter 'M' by the fingers.
"What is this 'Gloom Beach Fear Camp' and why is it so important for you to go there?" Gojira asked, wondering why is this so important for her.
Cleo sigh and turn to face the Prehistoric Titan. "You don't understand, Gojira. Every year, a prestigious Fearleading Academy, awards the Spirit Staff to the best team. And every year, that team has gone on to win nationals."
"Gloom Beach is a place where everyone can relax and have fun. Got a big lake and I figured that it would be right up your ally, dude." Deuce added looking a Gojira who's seems to be taking the information.
"I see." Gojira said simply.
"And you fear that you won't be going to this Gloom Beach Fear Camp?" Kong ask her.
"It appears I am." Cleo sighed looking down again as Deuce got close to her and place his hand on her shoulder.
"Ah c'mon, You wont know until you know, you know." Deuce comforts her with his words as the Titans raise an eyebrow by how he use 'know' three times. "Stop worry about it and try to have some fun." He then look at one of the activities the green blob Monster was about to play. "Check this out."
Deuce take off his sunglasses revealing his slit green eyes and the shockwave-like energy shoot out and gone directly at the stand up pile of bottle, turning them into stones. The green blob Monster rear his blobby arms and throw the ball at the stoned bottles, coursing the ball to bounce off and hit the blob Monster instead. The ball was inside him and he push it out as the Titans and the couple watches.
"Impressive display of ability." Gojira complimented, he's still impressed by the unique powers Deuce Gorgon has. The first time he and Kong first saw Deuce uses his powers was on the Substitute Teacher, Lou Zarr. The young Gorgon told them that it would sometimes where off for two hours, and the fact that he couldn't control his abilities yet.
Deuce laughs a Cleo turned around not amused. Deuce turns to her. "There is a money for the football team. It's a good cause."
"Adorable." Cleo said as she pick up her phone and pit it near her eye, all while raising her hand at her boyfriend. "Hey, it Cleo. Ghoulia, any Messages?"
"She's seems to be more concerned about going to to this Gloom Beach Fear Camp than having 'fun'." Gojira stated while looking at a Mummy.
"Yeah she is." Deuce nodded in agreement before turn his head towards Gojira. "I'm sure she'll make it in. I have faith she will."
Gojira was about to say something to him until the voice from the speakers was heard all around the festival.
"Attention student body of Monster High! The spirit rally will now commence!"
"It look like the rally has already started." Deuce said as he and the Titans watches on for the rally.
"And now, the captain of the Swim team... Lagoona!"
At the edge of the festival, their was a large cylinder glass of water with Lagoona Blue inside. She swam up to the top and look at the crowd in front of her, waving at them. Gojira look on as he nodded in approval, since she is the most trusted companions in Monster High.
"The Casketball team... Captain Clawd Wolf."
Two monsters hold out a large banner-like sign and Clawd Wolf burst threw it, gave out a howl to the darkened sky and walks out along with his team that were follow him. Kong look on with respect. Despite losing the match earlier today, they never seem to give up. It's like how he defies Gojira in his attempted to dominate the Primate Titan in a fight.
After the announcement, Ghoulia turned on the large metal machinery by putting the cables together, sending out an electrical surge. Then in the wooded area, three shadow-like appeared through the wooded floor as the lights shines on them, revealing Frankie, Clawdeen and Draculaura on the stage. They preformed their cheerleading as the crowd cheered at them while Gojira and Kong look on to see what they can do.
Frankie was raising he leg out, struggling but stable, as she look at the people around her until she sets her eyes on Kong. Her heart was fluttering and racing as she saw him looking at her and her friends. This maybe her chance to impress him, until she sets her eyes on Cleo, who's turned her back at them not looking at their performance.
Frankie turns to her friends as she's got an idea. "Cleo's pretending not to notice us. let's kick it up a notch."
Clawdeen and Draculaura nodded to her as they now started to do something new. Draculaura was thrown into the air while flip forward and descends down in a fast pace. Frankie tried to catch her but she was crashed into the wooded floor with her limbs scattered, failing the performance miserably.
The crowd booed at them as Cleo who is watching facepalmed at their incompetence. Gojira and Kong watches as they blinked for a minutes, trying to understand what they saw.
"That was... poorly thought out." Gojira said giving his honest opinion on what he saw just now.
"Maybe, but they seem to be improving from what I can tell." Kong said as he look at where the girls were standing. Their performance would've been accomplished if it weren't for that one minor setback, but he can also see improvements in them as well. he turns to Gojira. "Let's go to see if they need help."
Gojira grunted in response as they gone off to find the girls that was on the stage while other Monsters gone their to do what they call 'dance' as the music was played. Eventually they found the Fearleading Squad and saw them reattaching Frankies limbs to her body. They walk up to her and hear Lagoona's voice.
"Hey girls." Lagoona appeared with Frankie's arm in her hand. "Don't worry about that little spill, you're getting a lot better."
"She's right." Kong call out getting the girls attention as he and Gojira get near them. "Despite your... flawed performance, you three are improving."
"Thanks guys." Frankie thanked them gratefully as they heard the cheering from the wooded stage area. They turned and see numerous Monster dancing around, they can even see Ghoulia dancing slowly with another Zombie. Frankie look at Kong, imagining herself dancing with him. Her face turns bright red for a moment when she's thinking about those things as Lagoona attached her left arm.
Frankie notice someone from the distance and turn to the Salt Water Monster. "Hey, aren't you gonna dance with Gil?"
"He's smiling at you." Clawdeen telling her.
"Really?!" Lagoona look on and saw a male water Monster with a glass-like helmet that was filled with water smiling at Lagoona, but his friends notices and budge their elbow at him with a teasing look. Gil stopped smiling and look away, making Lagoona look down in sadness. "I just wish things weren't so complicated."
Gojira seems to know what's going on and look at Gil and then Lagoona. "Is he the Fresh Water Monster you once told me about?"
"Yeah. I like him a lot, I really do, but with everything going on between us it's difficult to talk to him without any worry." Lagoona then sighed. "I wish we could put all of this behind us and just get along."
"Two Monsters can totally get along, even dance together. I mean, look at Draculaura and Clawd." Frankie pointed out as they saw a Vampire and a Werewolf dancing together, with Draculaura on the stage and Clawd on the grassy ground due the height difference between the two. It got mixed results such as Clawdeen looking at with a narrowed look and a unamused expression. "I guess it is weird."
"I don't see what so weird about it." Kong said honestly. "If they're dancing together they are happy, right?"
"I... I guess your right." Frankie said almost hesitantly while Clawdeen huff in response, Which brings a confusion from Kong. Why does Clawdeen acting this way towards the idea of her relative sibling and a Vampire dancing? Could she dislike the idea of them being together? Maybe it could be it.
Meanwhile with Draculaura and Clawd, they clapping each other as the music stops. Clawd look at the young Vampire who's kept on clapping.
"You know," Clawd started off. "There's something that I wanted to tell you."
"Really?! Me two, you go." Draculaura offered him to say his peace."
"Well, we like long each other for a long time, right? And, I mean, you're friends with Clawdeen, I don't want this to be all weird." He said, getting a exited and surprise look on the young Vampire's face. "But... ever since you join the squad..."
Draculaura sighed almost dreamily and she leans forward a little. "I think I know where this is going."
"You and I..." Clawd started to say something as Draculaura leans in closer. "Are becoming... really good friends."
"Of course I'll be your girl-"
RUMBLE!
(KONG Skull Island OST: Creature from the Deep. Starts playing at 1:20)
Draculaura was cut off by the rumbling noise coming from the distance near them, silencing every one as they hear the noise. They look at the sound of the rumbling and saw something from the entrance of the festival. The ground near the entrance was was started erupting like a volcano, like something is coming out of the ground. The Titans look on with a narrowed gaze, as Gojira sense something incredibly dangerous coming out of the ground.
Soon it has erupted, and something burst out to the sky and then falls down. It landed with it's arms and looking at the Monsters as they look at the new creature in front of them. Gojira and Kong look at the creature, and they were shocked at what they're seeing, mostly from the Primate Titan who know full well what the creature is.
Behind the newly formed hole that it came out was a lizard like creature, having no legs just a long tail, it's arms scrawny yet bulking with spikes on it's elbows and menacing claws. It's face was a lizard-like shaped skull with two holes that shaped like eyes. It growled as if it was chuckling, seeing many Monsters in front of them.
The whole Monsters of Monster High look at the new creature that they never seen before with confusion. Wondering why it appeared on there festival event. Frankie and the Ghouls also look at it with confusion as well as curiosity.
"What is that?" Frankie wondered, looking at the creature she's never seen before.
"I don't know, but something tells me that thing is not friendly." Clawdeen said, getting a odd and worry feeling coming from the creature.
"No..." They turned and saw Kong looking at the creature with an shocking look, as well as fear. Gojira seems shocked as well but not so much as Kong.
"Kong?" Frankie ask him, feeling worried and scared for the Primate Titan as she never seeing him like this before, especially with him looking at the creature. "You know that thing."
Kong didn't respond as he look at the Creature with a shock and fear look in his eyes. His fears has came true, the true 'Monsters' were here, right before his very eyes, and he wish that his fears never come true. All he could do was utter out the name of the dreaded creature.
"... Halakrah."
A Skullcrawler, otherwise known as Halakrah by their true name, raise his body up as well as his head, and let out a loud, high-pitched roar. Soon more Halakrahs about to come out, to have a huge meat feast of the Monsters in front of them.
