Shocked Sasuke looked to where he'd seen the ice needle came from. He saw his teammate Naruko walking, with a grace she didn't possess before and a devious smirk on her face, but her eyes screamed danger.
"Now now Sasuke-chan it's never a good idea to let a potential enemy live."

The teams located in the clearing all looked at Naruko. The girl was her normal self outwardly, at least in appearance. Spiky blond hair in a messy pony tail, lightly tanned skin, blue eyes and a doll like face. She was dressed in her horrid orange tracksuit. Though the icy aura around her was new to all who knew the girl. The teenager raised a hand and undauntedly fired a second shot of ice and killed the unconscious girl of the Sound team.
"See Sasuke-chan it's easy to end them. Making sure you end all threats to your mission." She spoke a scarily kind smile on her face, her implications were not clear to anyone but Sasuke, who frowned. "Now Sasuke-chan please deal with the trash by your feet or well have ourselves problems later on, and I don't like stress, it's not good for my skin." spoke the girl as she placed a hand to the side of her face.
Sasuke looked at Naruko, the two stared at each other. It wasn't for a long time but for the two it was nearly an eternity. "Sasuke don't do it!" shouted Sakura, before glaring at Naruko hiding her fear and spoke, "Who are you, you're not Naruko she'd never do something so horrific?" asked Sakura heatedly.
"Sakura-kun, please be quiet, me and Sasuke-chan are talking." spoke Naruko kindly but the murderous glare in her eyes spoke volumes on what Sakura was going to go through should she challenge the girl.
"Fine." declared Sasuke as he quickly drew a kunai spun it and skillfully planted it on the head of the unconscious shinobi.
"Good work Sasuke-chan!" said Naruko proudly. "Now let us deal with the rest." declared the blond.
"Wait what!" many shouted.
"Idiot, we're konoha ninja as well. You can't do that to us," declared and indignant Ino, and when Naruko looked to her she shrunk back a bit, only now taking note of the slitted pupils. Naruko walked towards her. Well walk was the wrong word, she more like Sashayed. Choji and Shikamaru tensed but Naruko ignored them, and stood in front of the girl. Fingers rose and touched her chin, then she smirked while Ino seemed to shiver. Then Naruko leaned forward and spoke.
"But my dear Ino, in this forest we are all enemies. The only allies you possess are your own teammates." she said directly next to the girls ear. Then Naruko pulled back slightly and once more leaned forward. To everyone's shock she kissed the girl.
Then Naruko pulled back, "Now them my dear, please be aware of such technicalities, but!" she in the end she spun speaking loudly. "You did assist Sakura-kun in defending myself and Sasuke-chan, so for that I will not attack you. So you can rest easy." she said.
"Um yes, that is true." said Sasuke unsure of what happened to Naruko but deriving great amusement and intrigue from it. The way she seemed to instill fear in the hearts of even her supposed allies, and that dominating aura. "No then we have to move. We still lack a heaven scroll since ours was burned, we need to find one and get to the tower as fast as possible." advice Sasuke after taking the earth scroll from the dead Dosu.
"Yes, you are right Sasuke-chan, please make sure Sakura-kun doesn't leg behind please." said the girl and Sasuke nodded and picked up the shocked stiff Sakura before they all leapt to the trees and left.
"Wa..what was that!" shouted Ino a heavy blush of embarrassment on her face.
"A kiss." said Shikamaru while slumping his shoulders, the tense moment over now he can relax a bit.
"Yeah seemed like one to me." said Choji with a nod.
"But but, she stole my first kiss. I was going to give it to Sasuke-kun!" whined the girl in dismay. This was a way for the three to calm down and not think about the death caused by Team 7's 2 members. If they did things would be complicated.
Neji having saw the events frowned and picked Lee up before walking, "Let us leave as well Tenten." said the hyuuga before both left. The girl unsure of how to react to the events that transpired in front of her.

"So Naruko, you can use ice now, how'd that happen?" asked Sasuke as he looked at the girl.
"Well Sasuke-chan, much like yourself I possess a bloodline of some sorts. Much like Haku, ahh I wish I could have awakened back then when facing her, maybe I could have learned somethings." Said Naruko and Sasuke shuttered remembering the needles that had pierced his body back then.
"Yes, it would have been helpful back then. So did this bloodline come with a personality change or were you acting all your life or something?" enquired the teen and Naruko hummed.
"It's hard to explain, simply put when that snake ninja struck me with whatever freaky jutsu he used. It forced me to come in contact with my inner darkness, and I discovered that I wasn't such a nice person after all. Though don't frat, as long as we're allies I will protect you to the best of my capabilities." said Naruko with a kind smiled aimed at Sasuke who hummed. "But what off you, did killing that ninja shake you?" asked the girl.
Sasuke hummed to himself, unsure. "I guess it doesn't feel real yet. Maybe because I didn't care or I had thought of him as an obstacle that needed to be torn down." theories Sasuke, theorizing why he felt such an emotional detachment to killing Zaku.
"How, how can you both take the lives of others so casually, and speak as it nothing happened!" shouted Sakura as she came to a stop. A few trees in she'd chosen to jump on travel by herself. Sasuke and Naruko stopped as well and looked at the pink haired girl.
"We are shinobi, it's what we do." Naruko and Sasuke answered in unison.
"But but.." stammered Sakura, but Naruko was no longer paying attention to the girl.
"It would seem we've been surrounded." said the blond. Sasuke tensed and looked at the girl. He activated his eyes. This was not supposed to be an easy task since the mark around his neck was still integrating with his chakra, but unknowingly Naruko's chakra, was assisting in the process, easing the pain and allowing for a smoother process.
"Yeah." muttered Sasuke as he gazed around them all.
"Let's crush them." said Naruko as she started gathering her energy, with impressive ease despite the fact that her chakra was being disrupted by the 5-elemental seal. Then she formed ice lances around her before sending them flying towards the tree branches around them.
Three blurs flew out and landed around the tree. These were rain ninja and Naruko recognized one, he'd tried to capture her while she was separated from her team at the beginning of the exam.
"Impressive for you to discover us." said the shinobi and they glared at the Konoha shinobi.
"Hn." said Sasuke, before pulling out a handful of Kunai and flung them at the shinobi in front of him. In his mind he already had a strategy, attack the one in front of him and leave Naruko and Sakura to their own pair. What he forgot about through was that Sakura was deep inside her mind, going through a reality check one might call it. So she couldn't move, as effectively as she could normally. Luckily for Sasuke Naruto had not forgotten.
The blond created a bunch of lances and sent them flying towards the two remaining but they dodged around the trees to avoid being hit. 'Damn it I can't move freely; Sakura is dragging me down.' thought Naruko coldly as she looked at her opponents. 'I can't form my clones since my chakra is out of control and I'm forcing to calm down via the demon's extract, I can't afford to use bigger attacks.' thought the girl as she looked at her opponents.
"Sakura-kun I do suggest pulling your weight or your dead." said Naruko as she dodged a round hand full of poisoned Senbon. 'Not that I'm doing much either' thought the girl as she used a kunai to deflect many more. 'If only...' with was at this thought she froze momentously and growled, 'No now more excuses, I am Naruko Uzumaki, wielder of the all-powerful Demon's extract, I will not make any excuses, I crush the enemy, no matter what, if Sakura dies then it's because she was weak.' Declared the girl inwardly before she pulled out a hand full of kunai and flung them at both her opponents. Timing for their reactions she was happy to see one leap to the air. Then she shot forward aiming for that moment used a spear of ice that she formed mid-air and stabbed them through the chest. The genin surprised by this died as his heart was pierced.
Sasuke was battling out in Tai-jutsu against his opponent, and winning as the rain ninja seemed to be long to mid-range specialists a support team at most. So, Sasuke had the advantage even more so when it came to his sharingan helping out. Their eyes met, 'I've won.' thought Sasuke as he induced a minor genjutsu, not very powerful just to throw off the his opponent's accuracy a bit. Then he punched, his fist caving the throat of the rain ninja. He chocked.
The land ninja saw his friends die, and moved and landed next to Sakura, he was about to grab the still girl but she jumped away. He cursed, and pulled out a handful of Senbon and tossed them at the girl making sure she was going to die. 'If I don't make it neither will they.' he already resigns. This fell apart when a wall of ice appeared clocking his attack. Then a sting on the back of his head before dying. As he collapsed forward a kunai was seen sticking out on the back of his head.
Sakura was unsure about this, fighting was one thing, but killing was something she never actually thought about. She knew what it entailed, she knew what she needed to do it as some point. Though it seemed that deep within her heart she must have thought different, that she and her friends were different, they were exempt from that.
Her gaze travelled to Naruko carelessly searching for their attacker's scrolls then to Sasuke who was doing the same. 'I didn't know,' the girl thought to herself, realizing that she wasn't prepared to be a killer.
"Come I've got their scroll, it's a dud by it might be useful. Let's go." Said Sasuke to both her and Naruko.

A day later the team finally made it to the tower, after running into various teams and battling them. This both lowered the competition and gave them the scroll they needed and 1 or two extras.
They read massage or whatever it was written on the doorway. A few of thinking later they opened their scrolls. After smoking and exploding inot a cloud of smoke which when it cleared it revealed their former teacher Iruka.
While speaking to them and conveying his congratulations or joy at their success, Iruka couldn't help but feel that something was wrong. More accurately that the team seemed on edge or some such it was hard to put into words. He monitored them until they reached their rooms and then left.
"Something must have happened." Was the only thing the man thought.

Inside her allocated room Naruko released her lunch, and breakfast. Her face was a sickly pale but we vision was filled with red and the dead corpses of those she killed.
"I thought I could handle it, I thought I was strong like her that I could kill my enemies without a thought." Said the blond girl to herself. She leaned back her head hitting the toilet wall. Tears stung her eyes.
"I thought I could justify it, say they were the enemy and end them. At the moment it was easy, I wanted to live so I killed them but is it the right thing to do? Is saying they were weaklings so they deserved death a good reason to take their lives, is it ok to kill over some stupid test!" shouted the blond to herself as she felt her conflicting emotions clash with one another.
"I'm not like her after all." She chuckled to herself after a short moment of silence. A hand rose and spoke something that flashed in her head, "Shinobi are those who endure, then I'll have to endure. Tell myself I am strong yes. I see now that's the reason for her strength and the reason I've grown weak. I just lacked the will to push forward, I got so caught up in the power of those around me that I forgot about my own. I was weak at heart not in body.
Can't believe that stupid scroll message helped me." She muttered to her self after a short laugh. "No more. I'll be the strongest and be hokage!" smiled Naruko. A dazzling smile embodying the convictions she held in both lives to be the best, to be the most powerful.
It was as this moment that contradicting beings Naruko Uzumaki and Esdeath started truly being
"Now if only I could get myself a raiper, maybe even curse it like murasame. Wouldn't that be fun."

Days later the second stage of the chunin exams came to an end and those who passed were called to a large hall. Standing on the railings around them were the various jonin of those who passed and the hokage alongside the proctors were standing in front of them.
The 2 exam Procter ended the exam clearly unhappy with the result, then the hokage came on and went on to explain the reason behind the chunin exams and a substitute for war and to draw in potential clients to the villages.
Another man came on after that and explained that they were going to hold preliminary matches since there were more people than expected who passed the exams. Since these were now individual tests of strength those who couldn't continue due to various means were told they could quite but only one did.
Then the matches began.
First match – Sasuke Uchiha vs Akado Yoroi
Naruko thought this match was ok, not too exciting but a descent opening match. Thought she did notice that Sasuke seemed to be struggling not with his opponent though but something else. 'Probably that Mark on his neck.' But the Uchiha pulled through and won.
The fights continued on some interesting and some not. Then her own fight came along.
Naruko Uzumaki vs Rock Lee
Naruko smiled, revenge was her's.
