Oliver woke up. It was Cynthia's 5th anniversary. He was honestly just hoping to go to her celebration, but he knew he probably couldn't bring himself to do it.
"Ollie, Cynthia sent you a text. You have one last chance to fix things…" Luke says, looking at him.
"I don't even know if she even wants me back…" Oliver sniffs.
Cynthia woke up. Part of her wanted Oliver back; she knew he tried, but thinking back, getting mad over a failed party was dumb.
She decided she'd see Oliver.
She finds Kali. "Happy anniversary!" Kali says. She saw Oliver crying as Luke held him.
Cynthia sighed and kissed Oliver's cheek and just like that Oliver was gushing over her.
"Y-You want me b-back?!" Oliver sniffed.
"Yeah, yeah…" Cynthia says.
Oliver smiled a bit as Cynthia went off to the mall. But Oliver wouldn't be able to come to the party. Why? The state figure skating competition was today, of all days.
Luke goes to get ready. "Today is yet another day, another day about me once I win…" Luke says.
"It'll be a day about the team." Remy corrected him.
Luke flinched, realizing his time in the spotlight was coming to an end.
"But…you are the captain…so you'll get credit if we win." Remy says.
"Okay, party for Luke!" Luke says.
Remy just nods and gets ready to head to the competition.
"Hey, kids." Albert says as Cynthia groaned.
"Oh, no…" Cynthia says.
Meanwhile, Lucy woke up. "Luke's competition is today…" Lucy says, trying to get out of bed.
"Sweetheart, you need to rest. What did we talk about?" Charity asked.
"I'm sorry…" Lucy says, looking down as she begins to tear up. She still couldn't believe Luke would actually be willing to take her life. She began to cry. "Luke hates me." she weeped.
"Sweetie, it isn't your fault." She reassured Lucy.
Her face turned green. "Mom, I-I…" Lucy stammered. She was trying to stop herself from vomiting on Charity. Charity rushed her into the bathroom and stayed with her.
With Luke, he arrived at the competition "Hey Luke…um, bad news, mom can't make it she's watching Lucy" Lynn says
"But it's my first high school skating competition. For a state title…" Luke says, then sighed. "Fine…"
Lynn needed to think fast. "Lincoln, you go." Lynn says.
"I need him here." Luke says.
"Okay, Luan, you go." Lynn says.
"I need her, too." Luke says.
"Haiku, you go." Lynn says.
"I need her." Remy says.
Lynn finally decides to go on her own.
"You can't leave, I need you to be there for my victory party…" Luke says as Lynn tries to think of someone who could watch over Lucy and wasn't needed here. She didn't trust that club of Lucy's at the moment, but she thinks of Sam.
Lynn calls Sam, who was more than happy to help.
Lynn sighed in relief.
Meanwhile, with the Adventure Kids…
"Sure, great idea, Kali, feeding red alien monkeys will help!" Cynthia says, annoyed. The Adventure Kids were tied up as their adventure went wrong.
"We'll get out of this." Kali says.
With Luke, he just got ready. He was quiet, and didn't want to hype the team up. He took out his skates and screamed. Luna hears it and gets worried. She dashes to the locker room.
"I can't compete with my skate blades like this!" Luke sobbed. He told Luna that someone dulled his ice skate blades. She went to find out who did this.
She looks at the other teams. And then she looks at the security footage from the house's system from this morning. No one was actually home as most siblings hadn't had time, then she sees Lucy dulling his ice skate blades by accident.
Luke gasped and cried.
"Hey, hey, you have spares…" Luna says, showing him his new skates he got from Jenna. Luke sniffed and smiled as Luna helped him put them on.
Luna texted Sam this. Sam couldn't believe it. She was shocked.
"Lucy, why did you dull Luke's ice skate blades?" Sam asked.
"I was trying to sharpen them, but I dulled them by accident." Lucy says, looking ashamed.
"Those were his prized figure skates…" Sam says.
"I know. He hates me, doesn't he? I deserve to die…" Lucy sobbed, shaking as Sam held her head over the toilet.
"Look, you made a mistake. That's it and nothing more. Are you afraid of making mistakes?" Sam asked as Lucy nodded.
Luke sighed as he had to put away his prized skates.
"I can sharpen them." Lynn says and goes to do so.
He goes out to do his solo routine to an epic orchestral cover of "Into The Unknown" from Frozen 2, dressed in a male version of Elsa's white costume from the movie.
The crowd was in awe. Fans loved it.
Meanwhile, Ann was doing a performance using her past skills as the red monkeys bounced up and down. Kali grabs Ann and makes a run for it as the Adventure Kids jump on a raft. Brock was rowing the raft as Cynthia tried calling Oliver, but to no avail.
"He's probably busy." Ann says.
"Looks like we're on our own." Brock says and goes faster.
With Oliver, he saw the missed calls on his phone and sighs.
"They love me!" Luke says.
"Cynthia needed my help…" Oliver sighed.
"Yeah, I can see that…" Luke says, annoyed.
"Commit to the team or you're out." Remy says as Luke nodded, but stormed off. He knew his family wasn't supporting him. He knew they had to take care of Lucy.
"That does it! She's dying!" Luke hissed.
He kicked the door to the house down. "LUCY!" he shouted.
Lucy froze. She was trembling. "This is why I'm afraid of mistakes." She says, shaking as he was stomping up to her room.
"Are you really that sick?!" Luke hissed.
"After everything that happened, yeah. You did try to kill her " Sam says
"You ruined my blades!" Luke says, taking Lucy off the bed as Lucy was scared. But Sam was quick to stop Luke.
"Luke, stop, please…" Sam pleaded as Luke dropped Lucy harshly and stormed back to the ice rink, annoyed. Lucy was sobbing as Luke left.
Charity came in "Where's Luke?" she asked
"He tried to hurt Lucy, then he left." Sam says.
Charity looks for Luke. She eventually finds him. He was mad.
"Siblings bad!" Luke screamed. He had a lot of repressed feelings. He then felt overlooked and upset.
The siblings approach him. "We're right here, Luke." Lincoln says.
"Luke, it's time for our trio routine." Remy says.
Luke changes into his scout costume, straightens his beret, laces up his skates, and joins Remy and Oliver on the ice.
The siblings cheer for them. Haiku was there, but she was blindfolded.
Meanwhile, the Adventure Kids were climbing out of a waterfall as David coughed.
"Hey, Kali, my birthday is in January. Could we…you know…invite, um, Luke?" She asked.
"Oh, the 15th…hmmm…Oh, Luke's anniversary is on that day, so he can't come." Kali says.
Ann looked heartbroken before the red monkeys arrived.
"Okay, that's it, let's do this!" David says, ready to fight…only for the monkey to slap him.
Cynthia laughed, finding that funny. Suddenly, Bill's plane flew by.
"Help!" Deeders says as Bill tossed a ladder as the Adventure Kids began climbing but one grabbed Ann, who shrieked as Angry Luigi leaped and stomped on it and looked at the others and took out a hammer. The monkeys run.
"Thanks, you saved our lives!" Kali says as Angry Luigi nodded.
With Luke, he completed the trio routine with Remy and Oliver.
Fans loved it. The boys smile as they join their team to get ready for the full team routine in a bit.
The plane was falling as the heroes had somehow found themselves in a parade
"Just one thing to do" Ann says and starts dancing as fans loved it. Brock and Kali join their sister as Savannah and Tina smile, joining in. Angry Luigi watched.
"They're really good. Like, almost up to the level of those Trillion triplets." A guy says.
"Hey, those are the Adventure Kids! They're awesome!" a woman says.
Cynthia smiled at that.
With Luke, he was changing into his outfit for the team round before taking a sip of his iced blueberry lavender zero sugar Vitamin Water. Fans were chanting Luke's name.
"Oakley Academy Knight-Flight Skaters, let's get our show on the road!" Luke says to the team.
They came up as fans screamed. The team began their routine to "Livin La Vida Loca" by Ricky Martin. The crowd was losing their minds as they watched every second of the routine.
Luke and the Oakley Academy team won the state title. There was really no contest. Luke smiled as the siblings took pictures and came up.
Haiku was turning green as she left. The blindfold didn't work.
Later, the siblings set up a celebration for the team. Oliver and Remy showed up early.
"Hey." Stephen says
"Okay, we're still planning your team party." Lynn says.
"It should be about Luke. He's the captain." Lucy says, scaring everyone
"Aren't you sick?" Lincoln asked.
"I need to be there for Luke and plan his party." Lucy says. But Charity ushered Lucy back up to bed.
"For once, the team will celebrate, too." Lynn says.
Lola got a crown for Luke. Remy and Oliver could definitely see now that they aren't valued on the team as the co-captains. Remy left and just made the decision to go home. Oliver decided to follow suit.
Remy arrived home, saw his mom and chatted with her for a bit, then just went up to his room and asked one of his butlers to run him a sea salt bath. Remy soon sits in his bath and sighs deeply.
"Hey, Remy." Haiku says having snuck into the bath. Remy screamed, annoyed.
"I wanted to decompress!" Remy says, still looking annoyed. "Why are you in my bathroom?!"
"I'm worried about you." she says.
Oliver just went home and felt singled out.
With Luke, he arrived and saw the party
"A party just for me? Thanks, guys!" Luke says
"No, it's for the team! I said that five times!" Lynn says.
"And it seemed your co-captains left when they saw that you were the only one who was gonna get anything for the state title victory." Luna says.
"Yeah, but really, I'm the main reason we won and I really don't share my spotlight." Luke says. "Especially not in December."
The rest of the team looked disgusted at his selfish and entitled behavior. And Lynn finally got up the nerve to tell him like it is.
"This isn't all about you! You had three whole days dedicated to you and your birthday! It's time to share! The team worked together for the victory. You didn't earn it solo. The whole team had parts to play in this competition, and the whole team won the state title! Not just you!" Lynn snapped.
"I'm the captain, they don't appreciate me! No one does!" Luke says.
"Oh, they appreciate you plenty! But I think you should've given credit where credit is due! Remy just texted me. And so did Oliver. Needless to say, they're the ones that aren't appreciated for their contributions to the team." Lynn says. "So, don't you start crying about how you aren't appreciated when you don't even appreciate your co-captains for their work and dedication to the team!"
Soon, Albert returned the heroes to the present.
"What a rush…" Kali says.
"Hey, did we forget what day it is? Oh, right, it's my anniversary and what do I get? A near-death experience!" Cynthia says.
"Hey, we saved you." Tina says.
"Shut up." Cynthia says and goes off.
"Okay, we still have to find Drella." Tina says as Angry Luigi shivered. But the group had enough adventures for one day.
With Luke, he thinks about what Lynn said. He sets up a party for the team, especially for his co-captains.
With Remy, he was straight-up sobbing in his bathtub.
"After all I do to help the team and my friends…" Remy sobbed. Soon, he comes out and gets dressed, getting a text from Luke.
He and Oliver arrived at the manor as confetti fell on them.
"Wow!" they say. "What is this?!"
"Surprise!" Everyone says.
Oliver and Remy were stunned into silence. They were shocked, to say the least.
"It's a party for you two." Luke says.
"This is absolutely unbelievable…" Remy says.
"You…you do appreciate us!" Oliver says.
"Lynn gave me a real reality check. I may be figure skating team captain, but you two deserve to be celebrated a lot more. I really underestimated the stuff you do for the team. And all I thought about was myself. Didn't think of you two at all. I was a selfish jerk and knew I was wrong for not thinking of you two. You're my friends. I want you two to be happy and appreciated for your work and dedication to the Knight-Flight Skaters. So, this party is to celebrate not only our state title, but you two as well. It was the team's idea, and I decided to help them." Luke says. "My time in the spotlight is over until January 15th. Right now, tonight is about you two."
Oliver and Remy hug Luke, crying tears of joy.
The party began with dancing. Remy danced alone. So did Oliver.
Meanwhile, Cynthia was at her party and looked bored and lonely.
"Go see Oliver." Ann says. "He's at a party of his own. And I can tell he's lonely, too."
"I thought we were celebrating Cynthia's anniversary?" David asked.
"She's lonesome without Oliver. And Oliver is lonesome without her." Ann says.
"Wait, you're not canceling my anniversary, are you? This day is important." Cynthia says
"It's just fashion, which really doesn't matter." Emila says as Cynthia looks triggered, but goes to find Oliver.
Oliver was at the manor, dancing by himself. Once the DJ played "Are You Lonesome Tonight?" by Elvis Presley, Oliver's tears began flooding his eyes.
Cynthia came to Oliver. She could see him crying.
"Here." Cynthia said and danced with him. "I guess you're more important, anyway."
Oliver was speechless.
"Yeah, I ditched my anniversary after nearly dying for you. You're welcome." Cynthia says.
Oliver just smiles and dances with Cynthia. He was just happy that she took him back.
Haiku was nervous to go. There were a lot of people. Every Luke party just happened to have lots of people. But not so much this one. It was just Luke, his siblings, his friend group, and the Oakley Academy figure skating team.
Haiku goes to Remy. Remy was sitting alone.
"I'll dance with you." Haiku says.
She and Remy danced. Remy blushed as he danced with her.
Later, Oliver and Remy played in a ball pit with the skating team as Haiku just looked on, smiling at Remy.
After that, it was gift time. Remy just looked at them. So did Oliver.
Luke showed off his gifts for the boys. Oliver and Remy stood there, mouths agape.
It was a magic wand and a stage.
Remy smiled at the stage. "A stage for me?" He asked.
Luke nodded.
"What a magnificent wand!" Oliver says. "Thank you!"
"No problem." Luke says with a smile
Cynthia sighed and gave Oliver a new robe. Oliver smiled and thanked her, then gave Cynthia the dress he designed just for her. That was his gift to her for her anniversary.
"Awww, thanks, it's beautiful…" Cynthia says to Oliver. Oliver kissed her.
Haiku reads Remy a poem. Remy smiled at Haiku.
"You are a wonderful poet, my love…" Remy says and kisses Haiku. Haiku smiled at this.
Later, they eat and watch video clips from the past. The next clip made Remy run right out the door.
"Oh, my God…is that the clip where Remy split the pants of his costume at our junior high Regionals skating competition?!" Oliver asked. "He's still embarrassed about it! When it happened, he didn't show his face for 2 whole weeks…"
The next clip shows Cynthia and Cecilia get blown out of a room as they landed in a pie.
Cynthia looked at Luke and glared. "You chose Oliver's botched magic trick?! Not cool!" Cynthia says, humiliated. Oliver's face was crimson red.
"That's something Luan would have done." Lisa says.
Luke goes to find Remy. Remy was sobbing as he sat outside on the porch.
"Remy, I'm sorry!" Luke says.
"Why did you show it?! Why did you embarrass me all over again?!" Remy sobbed.
"I forgot that was embarrassing for you." Luke says.
"That doesn't answer my question!" Remy shouted.
"Are you just mad that it isn't your day anymore?" Cynthia asked Luke.
"No." Luke says. "Look, I'm sorry."
Remy starts calling his mom. At this point, he wanted to go home and stay there.
Haiku holds him. Remy sniffed.
"You embarrassed me! Was there anything else in there that was going to embarrass me?!" Remy sobbed.
"Hey, Luke, I made you and your friends a gift…" Lucy says, coming out and seeing this.
Soon, Victoria arrived.
"Mom!" Remy says.
"Remington, sweetie, what happened?" Victoria says, embracing her son.
He points at Luke.
"What did he do?" Victoria asked.
He explained as he shed tears. Victoria gasped and held Remy.
"He basically embarrassed me in front of the whole team!" Remy cried.
Victoria gasped " hoe coul again. Charity came out as Luke was laughing at Remy.
"LUKE FLYNN HUNTINGTON!" Charity shouted. Luke stopped laughing.
Haiku slapped Luke across the face.
"I-I…I thought you were being nice to me! You said you appreciated me! But I guess all of that was a lie!" Remy sobbed as he looked at Luke.
Luke was gone. He left, afraid of being punished as Haiku began to glow she used a magic rope tying Luke down
"You are going to pay!" Haiku says as Luke grabbed the rope and swung Haiku into the skies.
"Luke, stop!" Lucy says getting angry with Luke she grabbed his arm.
"Lucy, no, get back!" Lynn says as Luke becomes the Dark Blizzard Prince.
"I just wanted one more birthday! I couldn't get that!" Luke says, but Charity transformed and put Luke to sleep.
"I'm heading home" Cynthia says, tired and yawning, upset that her anniversary went south.
Victoria holds Remy as she takes him home. Oliver's father sees him in tears.
Meanwhile, Cynthia came home in tears.
"Cynthia?" Kali asked. "Hey…"
"That Luke is a jerk! What does Ann see in him, anyway?" Cynthia asked.
"He's not a jerk…" Ann says
"He just made fun of his co-captains!" Cynthia says.
"Lies!" Ann screamed. Cynthia then showed Kali.
"Holy moly…" Kali says as Ann looked heartbroken and ran to her room.
"I say we get payback on Luke." David says.
"For once, I agree." Cynthia says.
With Luke, he was stabilized as Charity chewed him out. All he could do was feel guilty. He couldn't do anything else.
