Grace skipped happily next to her mother as they exited the movie theater. The mother daughter duo were about to head home after a fun evening out. It had started off with pedicures after school, then an early dinner at Grace's favorite restaurant, and they ended the night watching a new Disney movie. Jamie and Conor had their own boys night and met up with the rest of the Reagan men for dinner at Frank and Henry's house.

Jamie and Eddie made a conscious effort to spend time individually with their children. It was quite interesting to them to see how different their personalities were when they were alone with either parent. Grace was more inquisitive, asking questions about things that even surprised her parents while Conor was a little more calm and quiet.

Eddie sent a quick message to her husband to let him know that they were out of the movie and heading home. She had a tight hold on her daughter's hand as they made their way down the side street to the parking garage where they had left the car. They had gotten to the movie a few minutes late, which made them have to park towards the back of the garage. It was already dark, so Eddie was a little more cautious and tried to be more aware about their surroundings.

As they made their way down the dimly lit side street, Eddie noticed that someone was following them. They had been following them for the past few minutes. They had stayed a good distance away but now seemed to be coming up on them quickly. Suddenly, she felt a chill run down her spine as her daughter's excited chatter drowned out next to her. She was now on high alert and on instinct, picked up her four year old daughter and held her close. Eddie sped up her pace and tightened her grip around her daughter. Grace's happy demeanor immediately shifted and she grew quiet. She put her head down on her mother's shoulder and closed her eyes.

Eddie heard the footsteps get uncomfortably closer to them. Then, Grace suddenly yelled out.

"MOMMY, WATCH OUT!"

"Come on buddy," Jamie said gently as he unbuckled his sleeping one year old son and picked him up out of his car seat. The little boy was out for the count after a fun night with father, grandfathers, and uncle. They spoiled him with cookies and undivided attention. Then, his Uncle Danny spent almost the entire evening after dinner playing with him outside. Jamie secretly hoped that his four year old daughter would be fast asleep too when they got home, so he and his wife could have a little bit of alone time together.

He quickly got Conor upstairs, changed him into a pair of pajamas, and got him settled into his crib for the night. Then, Jamie went back into the kitchen and put up the leftovers his grandpa gave them.

"What's taking them so long?" Jamie questioned curiously as he glanced at the time on his watch. It was quickly approaching nine o'clock, almost an hour from when Eddie texted him that she and Grace were on their way home. The theater was only fifteen minutes away from the apartment so they would've been home at the same time or even before him and Conor. He couldn't help but wonder if they stopped to do something else, but he knows that Eddie would've let him know.

He picked up his phone and called her but frowned when it immediately went to voicemail. Then, he used the Find My Phone app to discover that Eddie's location was shown to be in the area near the movie theater. He decided to call her again, to which there was still no answer. Now, the panic was truly starting to set in.

They're fine, he reassured himself. Grace probably wanted some ice cream after the movie so they're probably at the shop still eating.

He decided to give himself a ten minute timer. If they didn't walk through the door in ten minutes, then he was going out to find them. He walked back over to the nursery to peek in on his son, who was still sleeping soundly. He paced the apartment for a few more minutes, staring at his phone before he finally couldn't take it anymore.

He went into the nursery and scooped up his sleeping son. The little boy began to whimper but started to calm down when Jamie rubbed reassuring circles on his back. Then, he picked up his phone and placed a call to his older brother. Danny picked up on the second ring.

"What's up kid?" he answered.

"Danny… Eddie and Grace are missing."

Jamie sat with his head in his hands, leaning against his car. He was truly living in his own personal hell. When he and Danny arrived at the theater, they used the Find My Phone app and were able to track Eddie's phone to a side street where they found it in a heap next to her purse and Grace's light blue hair bow that she had left home wearing that morning. The next few minutes were a blur and before he knew it, an influx of cruisers were on the scene, including Frank's convoy.

"Son," Frank said gently, running a hand over his head. "Let Pop take Conor home. Or I can have Erin come and take him too."

Jamie shook his head, "I don't want him out of my sight, Dad. I did that with Eddie and Grace and you see where we are now."

"Jameson… this is not on you. This is on the bastard who took them. And trust me, when we find who did this, they're going to go through hell." Frank peeked inside the car to find the little boy in the backseat starting to stir, clearly uncomfortable with his position in his car seat. A little bit of him also wanted to keep his grandson within reach but knew that the best place for Conor at the moment was in a comfortable bed, under the close eye of a family member.

Suddenly, Conor let out a small cry and opened his eyes. Jamie immediately stood up and made his way over to the back seat to comfort the little boy.

"It's okay, buddy. It's okay," he comforted gently, pressing a kiss to the side of his head in an attempt to calm him down. The little boy started to wriggle around and fight against the straps of his car seat. Jamie quickly undid them and pulled him out. Conor continued to cry and fight against his father, probably sensing the distress of the current situation.

"Let me take him," Frank offered, holding his hands out to Conor. The little one immediately went to him, laying his head down on his shoulder. After a few minutes of rocking back and forth, Conor started to go back to sleep.

"Let Pop or Erin take him," Frank said again. "They can go back to my house and I'll make sure my security is posted all over. There won't be an area that isn't covered. No one will get him, son. With Pop and Erin there, they'll make sure that no one touches a hair on his head."

Jamie stared at his son for a long moment before finally relenting with a small nod. "Okay. Let Erin take him back to the house."

Frank nodded and sent his daughter a quick message. She was already on her way over and agreed to take him. Frank stayed with Conor while Jamie met up with Danny, who was just exiting the theater.

"Do we have anything?" Jamie asked.

"I looked at the security footage in the theater. It shows Eddie and Grace running in at 6:30. They buy some candy and then go into theater two. They come back out around 7:55, stop at the bathroom, then leave the theater altogether. Nothing looks out of the ordinary, no one looks to be following them, everything looks normal."

"There has to be something, Dan," Jamie pleaded. "This has to be someone who knows us or has been tracking us for awhile. Have you checked the surveillance footage on the side street? Or questioned anyone on the street? Have you checked the footage of the parking garage? There has to be something there!"

Danny placed his hands on his brother's shoulders, "Calm down. Calm down. We have people on it. We're leaving no stone unturned. I'm sure someone will find something. It's just going to take a minute. This is a big area. Trust me, kid. We're going to find them. Don't worry."

Jamie let out a breath and nodded, "We just need to find them soon. Every minute that goes by…" He stopped and shook his head. Suddenly, he felt himself start to get sick. He immediately pushed his brother out of the way and ran to the nearest trash can and threw up. Danny followed him there, reassuringly patting his back as he stood back up.

"If something happens to them, I don't know what I'll do," Jamie finally continued as he wiped his mouth. "They're my life, Danny. Eddie, Grace, and Conor. I'm nothing without them."

"I know, Jamie. I know. When Linda got kidnapped, I wanted to lose it. But I couldn't because of the boys. They needed me to be strong. If they saw that Dad was okay, then they'd be okay. So that's what you need to be right now. You still have Conor and he needs his dad. You need to take care of yourself for him. That's what Eddie would want you to do."

"I know, Dan."

"And think about it this way, the only decent thing to come out of this situation is that they're more than likely together. Your wife is as tough as they come and is not going to let anyone touch her little girl. And my goddaughter is smart. She knows how to give a good kick to where the sun doesn't shine. Plus, they're Reagans. They're going to fight tooth and nail until they come out on top."
