If one would ask Valentine about how it is like to fight the Medici, she would say that they are very much like gnats. Tiny and insignificant in their blood sucking annoyance but ultimately harmless. But if one would greatly multiply their numbers by a few dozen? They would still be harmless, don't get her wrong, but they would also be...

"Fucking cosplaying bitch!" One peculiarly burly man bellowed as he rushed towards the battle nurse, hands brandishing a rather poorly maintained machete with the full intent of splitting her down the middle.

…disgustingly persistent and cocky when they have quantity on their side, as one can tell. Especially when she can't use lethal force to dispatch them in this peculiar mission. And because of their sheer numbers, they had a fair chance that the last hope operatives could very well be overwhelmed by them if they were smart or clever enough to play their cards right.

But the low ranked echelons of the Medici are anything but smart or clever

Evidenced by machete wielding thug attempt to blitz her with sheer speed but unfortunately for him, to Valentine he was slow as a slug dragging along a syrup coated floor, it was pathetic how easy it was for the back of her bone saw to slice his wrists in swoop, the useless blade and the meaty appendages still gripping the handle of the blade would drop to ground as his face would scrunched up to release a bellowing wail of the deserving agony he must undoubtedly must feel. Well, too bad he could not as that very same bone saw that effortlessly disabled of his now quite broken wrists would come for his neck in the next stage of her assault. Soon his neck was caved in as the weaponized medical equipment collided with his throat. Causing him to cough up spittle as all he can do is a gurgling attempt to breathe through a now quite collapsed windpipe as he was soon added to countless pieces of trash untold scores of the ghetto.

But he'll live…unfortunately.

"Well…that was boring." Valentine sighed as she stepped over the struggling man as she moved closer to the warehouse's at incredible speeds, nonplussed after all what had transpired was a pretty common outcome. They were anti-skullgirls agents, people both trained and modified to fight the skullgirls, undead beings whose sole purpose is to eradicate all of life around them.

And they were just a bunch of low-lifes.

"What's wrong…Valentine?" The gloomy voice of Hallow inquired, as she jabbed a syringe filled with a green liquid directly into the side of one female gangster's neck before dropping her to the ground, leaving the woman to uncontrollably spasm as the vial's contents entered into her bloodstream and proceed to did their work. The muscles under her lifeless, gray eyes wrinkled most unsightly, as she greeted the fellow face covering wielder as the smile hidden behind the black bands that fastened securely on her face was as assuredly wide as humanly possible. "Patty and Easter didn't get you enough treats? Or perhaps you are looking for a trick? "

"And let you make me love sick with your quote on quote "medicine"? No thank you." Valentine scoffed at her comrade's creepy as usual words and the borderline perverse undertone it had as the eye patched medic then pull a few of the cross shaped shurikens hidden in her leg wrappings, identical to the ones' on her knees, and in one fell swoop threw them. They would embed themselves deep into the forearm of one thug's forehead as he was about to attempt to use his Tommy gun at them both. Causing him to scream in pain as the edges not only slashed into his cheap suit and plunged themselves a good inch into his flesh, but Valentine had expertly thrown the crosses into the arm's vital nerve centers. Rendering it borderline useless as his nerve endings send malfunctioned signals to his brain. Harmlessly dropping the firearm on the ground as he could barely control the movement, let alone hold something like a gun.

"...you really are a party pooper Valentine." The mad nurse pouted as in her hands was surprise and surprise, another syringe this time with a strange purple liquid. "I wanted to field test my new serotonin injection." It was amazing how someone so….. edgy and dark looking can sound so childish and innocent.

"Hey, you snooze, you lose." The eye-patched woman simply shrugged before sharply turning around and delivering an axe kick to the back of the head of one gangster who thought he was being clever, he would fall to the ground like a log as he would sound he was breathing underwater, Undoubtedly he has a concession now, oh well. "The status of the refugees so far? Any casualties?"

"Surprisingly, there are none, other than signs of oblivious malnourishment and signs of abuse. They are about as healthy as they could be."

Valentine would slowly nod at the serious state as she would give a glance to a small gathering of refugees that were drawn by the sounds of violence and shouting, The look in her eye turned sharp with a quiet anger as her voice reflected it into becoming, a curious talent she possesses. A frightening one that was also shared by her comrade as her steely gray eyes would bear no emotion as she would further step on the head of the downed gangster, vigorously grinding it, applying just enough pressure to prolong his discomfort but to not prematurely end it. But both women would retroactively flinch when a too familiar variety of sounds as Lab 8 would decide that they would be crashing into their mission.

The living dynamo Leduc would make a thunderous impact, arcs of lightning spawned from his Tanis generator, mechanical limbs grafted to his flesh body, shocking many of the thugs and nearly zapping a nearby Patty.

"OI, WATCH IT YA YOU LITTLE SHITE!" The young feral woman rapidly hop around to not get struck by the sudden lighting strikes. Cursing a set of vulgarities in her native tongue, too profane to be uttered in the common tongue. The lighting soon ceased as the synthetic parasite user soon zipped on the ground like a monorail, pushing himself deeper into a fray and tazing any Medici hood he could find or decide to be fool-hardy enough to confront. Their bullets would render immediately useless as they floated harmless the second they would enter his electromagnetic field.

But if the factions present thought that their cybernetic troubles that these newcomers brought ended there, they would soon find it that were far from over as the sharp whizzing of mechanical bees diving towards them. Making both goons and Easters' their heads whipped upward as the cause of the sound, the purple haired bomber with her hexagonal honeycomb blaster. Each of their eyes bugged out of their skulls as they soon many of them tried to run from the bombardment from above and failed as a rush of shock and heat would blow them like a wind carrying autumn leaves.

"Good Friday!" Easter yelled through grinded teeth as she hoisted a stuffed, writhing body bag in front of her and used it as a makeshift blast shield. Her eyes clenched shut as the brunt of the explosive shock slammed against her, pushing her feet along the ground. Causing the bag's victims to scream in agony as the sudden rise of heat burned their skin. But luckily, both the nurse's bulk and strength allowed her defensive positioning to work.

But the worst was saved for last as both Hallow and Valentine would clasp their eyes as a deafening screech of hard jazz played as Big Band pull up his best performance yet.

" TUBATUBATUBATUBATUBATUBATUBATUBATUBA!" A veritable orchestra of billowing saxophone and clanging metal would roar through the chaos as the famed brass knuckles of Big Band of Anti-skullgirl lab 8 would be launched directly on a group of Medici enforcers he corner. The sheer speed and velocity of the stampede of mechanical punches were an absurd blurry rush of motion and violence, especially once one considered the mass and bulk of the cybernetic iron lung. With one final heavy strike, the mooks would send away into the wall like cannonballs into the outer walls of the factory. "... TUBA! YEAH!" The hulking machine of a vigilante practically roared, the mechanical echo made it even powerful.

"My…My, I certainly don't want to be on your naughty list." The red-haired leader of the group of medical ninjas, named Christmas, whistled at the damage the veteran asg agent caused, but is rather…displeased that they weren't allowed to lethal force in this mission and was forced to spare these gangsters, as both her and Brain Drain agree the amount of potential casualties would be far from… optimal as the amount of dead would raise too much suspicion as well would potentially result in the deaths of the refugees, making this supposed to be a stealth operation. "But I certainly don't appreciate you, or your little helpers, placing a coal under our tree."

Because after all, having a weaponized one-man band and his entourage of impressionable youths come barging in is the antithesis of stealth.

"Geez ya big bloke, comin' in like that, I wouldn' be surprised if ya give us all of seven years' bad luck with all the glass ya broke because all of that honkin' and tweetin' ya doin' with ya bagpipes." The youngest member of Last Hope, Patty tsked. Her northern chessian accent made her anger even apparent. The non bladed end of her strange glaive would slammed down on the head of one downed goon that attempted to crawl away. But she would sharply turn to face Leduc who became sheepish under her scathing gaze. "And if you try that again ya, little thunder cloud I'll jam this glaive so far up ya wee little cock that ya would have to be served over split coals!"

"Ye-Yes ma'am!." Leduc apologized to the older woman. Realizing that he could have harmed a fellow ASG agent made his head bow in shame.

Hive on the other hand was then a little receptive to the small nurse's aggression and responded in turn.

"Buzz off! And maybe you needed our help because from what I can see, you and your herd were struggling a lot weren't you?" Hive's tone became arrogantly smug as Patty's face turned into a deep shade of red.

"Listen 'ere ya little fuckin' pixie-

"Too many eggs in one basket I say! But what's done was done. We are all rabbits in the same burrow are we not?" The oldest and largest member, Easter, chuckled as she moved in between both feral and synthetic parasite user right before the quarrel became physical as if she didn't just block a ballistic impact point blank. Behind them was another body bag of hers, stuffed and filled to the brim with medici, the tough and elastic material was then enough to hold such a volume snugly.

'And we wonder why the labs don't get along with one another. And the "official" dissolution of the labs only made this much worse.' Valentine sighed, times like these always reminded her that the ASG labs are just multiple organizations and groups masking as one. Because after all, most if not all ASG agents were either loners or black sheep that more often than not form their own cliques. Last hope was no different as they operated with taciturn and precision, very much unlike Avian's menagerie of strays that just barged through things like a drunk gigan.

"Oh, my bad, ladies. We didn't know that we were barging in on your act." Big Band was also quite apologetic, they lost the information network between labs as it was, per King Franz's "request", was severed. So "mishaps" like this were bound to happen. But still, it was strange to see someone so imposing like the man turned weaponized musical instrument look so apologetic to the ninja nurses. "...but seeing what the thought of what the Medici has done to them …" Big band turned to refugees that slowly began gathering at the hole he created and then huddled together at the sight of the strange individuals before them and then braced for the worst. Making his heart beat a furious tempo. "...makes my horns blare something that's not pretty and not sweet." HIs voice grew dark as it began to hold a violent promise.

But sadly, it was never fulfilled as the ASG agents converse among each other, many of the remaining Medici thugs has already ran or is currently running away, the displays of destructive, eccentric power of Lab 8's finest dowse the already rapidly dwindling morale of the gangsters, with Big Band's ferocious attack serves as a final wake up call that these guys were truly fucking bonkers , bonkers in a way that they each of them were like walking disasters. And you know what animals do when confronted with a disaster.

They run .

"Dahila gonna have our fuckin' hearts as appetizers for screwin' this one up! But we can't possibly fight those freaks. Ain't no way, ain't no how!" One of the main thugs in charge of this little shindig lamented over the undeniable loss they suffered and the fact that the boss will not be pleased at all as they hastily entered many of the parked getaway cars and trucks nearby. The roar of each engine guzzed black exhaust as they sped off in a stampede, away from the clearly losing battle.

"...'ey good at scamperin' away. I'll giv' 'em that." Patty stated, having been cooled off, moved to examine the refugees she hopped off not before giving one last glare at Hive.

"I supposed that festivities are over…" The ruby red lips of Christmas pursued as she then turned to her unit. Deep in thought as mulling over their options. "..examine the refugees, see if they need any medical assistance."

"Yes, ma'am!" Their responses were curt as each nurse dashed into the warehouse as Christmas then turned into the members of Lab 8.

"And Lab 8, you are to guard my unit and the refugees, And make sure the downed combatants stay down." Christmas gave the order to the modified humans, but she was met with exactly the same level of expected obedience from them.

"Hey! Last time I checked, you are not our queen bee! You don't get to boss u-MMPHH?!" Leduc's hand would clasped around Hive's mouth. Not wanting any more tension between the two labs.

"We'll be happy to do that!" The blond haired boy briskly nodded as he proceeded to drag a struggling Hive off.

Big band on the hand was more…professional about his displeasure."Roger, but I shouldn't have to remind you that you don't toot our horns Christmas, Doc does." The cyborg's legs thump as he moves away from Christmas…before picking up the pace as Hive begins firing bees at a now running Leduc.

'What…a colorful bunch you got for yourself….Avian.' Christmas could only blankly stare at the scene in stunned silence

"It seems that…almost everyone here is in positive condition…" Valentine's eye scanned the refugees, they were marginally in better spirits as they were before. The fear and uncertainty of their new saviors, but the relief that they had their nightmare over was palpable . Everyone, except for the girl dressed in the green robes that Christmas is currently tending her wounds and Hallow supplementing with the necessary medicines. The medical care that was given to her which was just merely cleaning them and then applying antiseptic bandages as they need far more resources than they currently have on hand to even attempt to fully heal her. For the girl suffered not just from severe trauma not only due to the removal of both her eyes, the Medici removed all four of her limbs and teeth in an act of complete and unfiltered evil. And she herself rarely uses such terminology sparingly.

"I'm not sure if it is bad luck or good luck that the wee lass is still alive." The clear memory of Patty's, the most cheerful and optimistic member of Last Hope she might add, is an utterly remorseful expression after having stated that after thoroughly examining the child. In fact, Patty was so close to breaking out in tears as she had to take a short break to gather herself is a testament to how dire the young girl's condition truly is.

"To do that to a child is low, even to the likes of the Medici." Valentine muttered as turns their back to them, she knew that they were doing the best they could. But at that, in the corner of her eye she would notice a brown haired girl sulking to the stairway. She was not wearing the rags of the refugees, much rather she was wearing a school uniform that must belong to one of the private new meridian schools…

But that wasn't what immediately drew her full attention to her.

|INITIATING SECURE LAB ZERO-CODE 36E-25-40|

Taking out the ASG radio, and then putting the code in, Valentine closed her eye …knowing what she is going to do which would make her no better than the monsters who mutilated a child.

But the looming threat of the skull girl triumphs any reservations she has.

"Brain Drain, there's a girl here-a native of the Canopy Kingdom that seems to be taken by the Medici off the streets." Her voice was low and quiet as she would talk into the radio's receiver, not wanting to alert the girl to her presence just yet as she followed after her, her footsteps light and quiet. "But most importantly, he r blood perfectly matches what we're looking for.

"Excellent, she will suffice." Valentine can feel the ear to ear smile just from listening to the director's tone of voice." Bring her back at once."

"Brain Drain…she's just a youn-"

"Need I remind you of the fact that each skull girl is a potential extinction event? And that we as Anti-Skull Girls agents are tasked to thwart such an event and those who wish to exact it by any means necessary? It certainly doesn't help that we need more manpower more than ever." The voice retorted in a logical tone that Valentine couldn't find many objective flaws and found numerous subjective ones. "You of all people should understand that "good" and "evil" hardly means anything in the face of certain death. Whatever risks and the moral issues you may feel doesn't outweigh the benefit this will bring for the greater good by doing this, you understand what you must do. Don't you Valentine?"

"...Yes sir, understood sir." Valetine steeled herself as Brain Drain gave the ultimatum, pushing forward. Moving closer to the unsuspecting girl, but just as she was range Valentine would stop at her tracks as the brown haired girl would enter a storage closet on the second floor of the warehouse, on the cold floor covered in a rag of a "blanket" was yet another school girl that's blond rather than brunette. The new girl's right eye was wrapped up by dirty cloth that Valentine knew shouldn't go anywhere near a wound. But the fact the blond was just as compatible as her friend was the sickest joke that not even Hallow at her worse would make.

"Brain Drain." Each one of the radios the ASG black ops units, like Last Hope, stationed with each have built in typewriter that allows them to relay messages to one and another without the need for talking. Allowing for reliable communication when verbal means of talking where unavailable, such as right now. "There's another school girl, she is also just as compatible."

"Incredible news, that means you have no time to waste." was the expected reply.

Valentine's expression remained unchanged as she waited for the right time to listening in to them would stop in her tracks and her heart drop in dread.

"You should...just leave and just forget about…" The blond girl was dying, an blind man could see that. In a way, Valentine could accept the logic, she was a death weight for the smaller girl, It would be selfish for her to hang on to her; "...me. After all…I am the one…who decided that we should go to the harbor…I deser-"

PLAP!

"Don't you dare go there, Filia! I d-don't ever want to h-hear such a terrible thing from y-you again!" Valentine can see the clear mania in the girl's body, she was being pushed to her outermost limits both mentally and physically. "I-It's not your fault…nor is it mine! The only ones…at fault are the Medici! And you are nothing like these...m-monsters!" Valentine just closes her eye, letting the girls' have their emotional release. She can at least can do-give them the last fleeting moments of them being normal human before Brain Drain does whatever he has plans for them.

"I won't give up on you, I can't give up on you." The nurse can tell the girl struggling to hold on any glimmer of hope, no matter how unlikely it was. It was pitiful to see, the delusion must clearly be the last thread that is holding up her sanity. "Whether you want to or not, you and I are going to live ."

"Wow." Valentine chuckled, having decided that she couldn't afford anymore time left. "And I thought Easter had a terrible bedside manner. And definitely not a fan of the speech too, reminds me too much of Annie. Cheesy dribble."

Both the girls' heads would twist to meet her. The brown haired girl would instantly show more bravery than all of the Medici that were here combined as she stood between Valentine and her dying friend. Valentine would feel the pangs of disgust at herself stab at her heart for doing what she is about to do. But her lips were curved into a razor sharp smirk as the nurse would shove those reservations into the box in her mind where she hides other emotional hindrances.

"Who are y-you! A-and what do you want?" A good enough question, sadly it's one that would go unanswered as Valentine would move faster than any human should be able to dom let alone react to as the girl could even blink before the nurse would place the gas mask. With expert speed and precision, Valentine would turn the knob of the canister of anesthesia as she administered the right dosage as the brown haired girl fell helplessly unconscious.

"C-Carol…" The other girl could only watch in horror, helpless to do anything to stop her.

"Looks like I came here at the right time. But now…" The nurse whispered to herself as she repeated the same process as she calmly placed the mask over her face. "...tell me where it hurts.~" The blond girl's singular eye was widened with an intense fear. Something that would burn in Valentine's mind as the blond girl's sickened state of weakness made her totally unable to fight off the nurse and the insidious lull she brought.

With both school girls down and out, the nurse's eyes would return to their previous downcast expression as she pulled out a portable radio.

"Brain Drain, I have captured the two candidates." Her voice was now toneless, as she wanted to get out of here.

"Excellent, they will both suffice ." Brain Drain almost sounds truly happy, which only means the worse for the two girls as that is never a good sign. "It was extremely fortunate that we found not one, but two candidates. Bring them to Lab Zero post haste."

"The nurse would close her eye completely, coming with terms over the horrid acts she did . "Understood. Valentine out."

With the radio clicked off, the nurse would pick both of them and then vanish in a puff of smoke.

Deep in the depths of Brain Drains domain, Lab Zero, Valentine could only stare at the bodies of the girl she abducted two weeks ago. In the most ironic usage of the word, both girls looked the most peaceful she had seen them as both girls were placed under a medically induced coma.

" Valentine, how is the status of both subjects? Are they ready for the procedure?" The mechanical voice stated as he descended from above, his arms folded behind his back. The blood red "eyes" shone with a dark intellect as the sole organic remnant of his original human body undoubtedly surged with numerous ideas for the various types of experiments he had planned for them.

"Subject-87 has shown enough stability and health for both the immediate assimilation and transfusion of the Skull girl blood and the implantation of the Gae Bolga Matrix and the Buer drive." Valentine calmly said to her superior. "However…while Subject-88`s condition has stabilized faster than expected, however I would recommend that we should wait for her condition improves more before we-"

"We don't have such a luxury of waiting anymore, the Skull heart's seven year period is drawing to a close so soon." Brain Drain softly injected, making the nurse's eye widen in shock. " Prep for her the transfusion of skull girl blood as well as administer the Asura treatment."

"The Asura Treatment!? Are you insane ! It will kill her, or worse!" Valentine's voice grew angry and emotional, as she wasn't expecting such a risky gamble with a commonly logical man. Because after all, the Asura treatment was one of the earliest super soldier programs of Lab 3 and one of its biggest failures. Originally, it was originally meant to be an answer to the might of the Gigan Nation in the form of fighting fire with fire through the usage of mutagens and the very genome of Gigan tp turn Canopian selected soldiers into man made Gigan. It was deemed a total failure that resulted in either death from horrible mutations and the strain they brought their bodies or a loss of humanity and sanity that lead those selected for the operation to be shortly euthanized afterwards due to the sheer shifts of hormones and overall nature. In fact, it what ultimately pushed the labs to mainly focus on bio-mechanical and mechanical means to modify and enhance its agents for its purposes.

" I'm well aware of the numerous risks, Valentine. I don't certainly need to be reminded of it, nor is your current tone appreciated." The director narrowed his optics as Valentine would grasp her head as her brain began to throbbed uncontrollably. Undoubtedly Brain Drain's own doing, thankfully it was one of the milder ones. " But to answer your concerns, I determined the transformative properties found in skull girl blood would be paramount in allowing the Asura treatment to run as smoothly as possible. "

Valentine could understand the logic behind it, Skull girls themselves were after all were wholly transformed from normal living things, like Humans and ferals, into what they are on a genetic level. So in theory, skull girl blood may give those undergoing the Asura treatment a much greater rate of survival and success. But even so, the strain of biological manipulation and transformation to that extent wouldn't be stable with or without the assistance of the Skull girl blood. Unless…

"...You are planning on planting Samsara on her, aren't you." Valentine's face became a careful neutral as the silence from the mechanical doll confirmed her suspicions. Because after all, Samsara was closest to an man-made living parasite that was possible as it was modified and edited since it's gestational period that produce it's ability to fix and mend but such "breeding" has made the young parasite lack much offensive capability, so it was delegated to be used on the lab mice that used as testing dummies for the labs more dangerous experiments that couldn't be used on humans, all thanks to the adaptive resilience and healing it gives it's hosts against any offending phenomena that it's damages them.

'And combine that with the Gigans' incredible physiological abilities and overall might that make them more capable of fighting a Skull girl directly then other sapient species. Then you got yourself an Anti-skullgirl weapon capable of not only fighting them head on, but can potentially withstand and endure the sheer punishment and horror the Skull girl can unleash, something not even the Gigans can accomplish. Hell, it's a feat no other Anti-skullgirl weapon could even brag about.' With her headache subsided, the gears in Valentine's head began to churn.

"You and your thoughts would be quite correct in that assumption, both Subjects 87 and 88 would be able to fight the Skullgirl head on. With 87 being the spear and 88 the shield. " Brain Drain said as he turned back to look at the sleeping girls. "Now begin." Brain Drain's voice grew authoritative as he grew tired of her questions and hesitance.

"Understood, I'll start underway." With that, Valentine would walk forward, the nurse began to prepare each girl for what's to come.

'Samsara.' Brain Drain's telepathic voice would calmly transmit itself into the mind of its recipient.

'...Yes D-Director.' The voice was of a young female child, frightened and timid but holds an expected level of compliance and obedience. It was something he loved to hear.

'Come here at once, I have finally found a greater purpose for you.'

'Y-Yes sir.'

"Blood transfusions successful. Vitals holding steady…" Carol's eyes would slowly peek open from its lids closing as she heard a familiar voice, and certainly didn't want to hear again. "...Not only Subject 87 adjusting the Buer drive and Gae Bolga parasites, Subject 88 is also adapted to the Asura treatment just well, no thanks to Samsara…" Carol's eyes flew fully open as the awful. sensation of something sticking into no…something being impaled into her skin, multiple things in fact. She hissed, but instead of what should be her voice come out she heard an ugly, raspy snarl. Like some horrible beast has taken residence in her throat. Coming into her view was no other…the nurse!

"Y-YOU!... uuuggghhh ! " Carol barked as she would try to step forward, but her body felt another stab of pain as attempted to move forward. Causing her to double over in pain, it was hard for her to focus as the pain was constant, every single twitch no small matter how small and inconsequential only brought agony and discomfort no matter what she does. But as she tried to bear with the pain, Carol would notice that the reflection of the glass panel near her didn't show the face she knew for all of her life. but rather what she found staring back at her was a grizzly mask that wouldn't look out of a cheesy horror movie. "No…n-no no no no.." Carol's fingers frantically traced the outline of the mask, feeling out that the metallic stables that made it attached to her face were indeed real and she was not having some terrible nightmare. The more she looked, the worse it got. Her hospital gown wearing form was somewhat both gaunt and muscular that bulged and pulsed with dark veins pumping an vile ichor into her body that made her stomach lurched in disgust at the sight, and the various nails jammed deep into various points of her flesh like she was just a piece of wood made it so worse. The grotesque bladed pinwheel that fastened and attached to the middle of her spine, feels alien yet not alien as the blades whirl in response to her growing distress. All of the awful stimuli Carol's body gave the girl told her that this reality, her reality.

"Wh-why…DID YOU…DO TH-THIS!" The awful, edged bastardization of her once soft and gentle voice roared as both the sheer pain and anger she felt made it her for to not so at the nurse, made only worse in the stark silence as she didn't even dignified her with a reason, as her fingers tried to gripped the eye holes of the mask, trying find an small enough opening to allow to rip the awful thing off but to not avail as who or what sewn the mask on to her face was thorough to make sure wasn't enough space for her to grip on.

' Need to get this off…I can't stay like this…' Tears gushed out of her eyes, staining the awful mask as she frantically just clawed at her face, trying to get the ugly thing off by any necessary means. 'I can't let my parents or…Filia….FILIA! '

"Where is…Fila…" The experiment would ignore the pain as she would grab Valentine by the collar. Vigorously shaking as the nurse still didn't give her a proper response as she merely just stared at her with that same empty cross that only made her even more enraged. "WHERE IS FIli-

"C-Carol?" Said a voice that sounded like Filia's, but like her voice mutilated into this grotesque rasp but Filia's too as her friend's voice was pitched down an octave and was husky. But Carol can still tell that it's was still the voice of her best friend.

Turning to the source of the voice, Carol's bloody red eyes would widen in shock at what Filia became as she became exceptionally tall with her hair grown to a messy long as she halfway doubled the height of a fully grown human man, much like what was happening to be wearing a similar hospital gown to hers. But unlike her body's own lankiness, Filia's body mutated in the opposite direction as she was notably robust feminine and the strong musculoskeletal structure of a Gigan. But Carol can see that she hadn't become a full blooded one as Filia's physique, while now inhumanly strong and tall, wasn't at the awe-inspiring height typical of Gigans and still had a more distinctly humanoid proportion and shape. And much like the nails in Carol's body, Filla had numerous section of black stitches that made body a living patchwork from around her neck to her ankles and wrists , with the entire section of once destroyed right eye entirely replaced by an black patch of cloth with an angry red X made of red threads of where her eye would have been.

Suddenly Filia's arms scoop her and hugged her tight. In which she did as well. There were no words needed nor exchanged as both girls knew that words couldn't possibly begin to describe what they feel.

"Sorry to cut this heartfelt reunion short…" Valentine's voice, something that both experiments are beginning to truly despise as both pairs of red eyes would narrow with contempt brewing in them to the nurse. Valentine paid it no mind. "...but you both need to break in your new bodies nd adjust to them, so come fight me."
