"You are going to pay for this," Severus howled. "I will get my revenge on you!" he screamed as the police pushed him into the back of the squad car. Hermione rolled her eyes, not that Severus could see behind her mask. Being the Crimson Otter had its perks, in a way.

"Really? Threats of vague revenge Potioneer? I deserve a better goodbye. Maybe you should you know, try something that isn't so cliche?" she suggested, trying to keep the teasing from her voice. It was a stupid move, taunting her arch rival, but it was part of their game. Severus yelled something Hermione didn't hear from inside the car.

Shaking her head, she flashed the police a smile before using her grappling hook to shoot off into the sky. She was already running late. It wasn't as if each and every disaster that struck the city lined up single file. Hermione really hadn't had the time to chase Severus around the city, but she knew if she hadn't, he would have managed to do something that he might not have been able to recover from. He wasn't really a bad guy.

She knew he had some stupid tragic past that he claimed was the reason he created amazing chemicals that he used in his crimes. This latest one was just beyond her though. He'd broken into the museum, stolen a huge diamond ring, shoved it in a shopping bag to hide it and tried walking out. By his usual standards, this crime was tame.

The train had nearly derailed by the time Hermione reached the tracks. Thankfully she was able to calculate the trajectory correctly and send it back onto its way. Sighing with both relief and exhaustion, she stumbled into her flat, tossed her boots against the wall.

"You really need to find a better hide out than your own flat," a deep voice commented. Hermione only sighed loudly.

"They let you out already?" she asked the dark figure standing against the window.

"You could say that, I mean, the bars to the cell all melted therefore, I was free to go,"

"You used something on them, broke yourself out, and no one stopped you?" she asked, seriously wondering about the quality of the police lately. Maybe the city needed to build one of those prisons designed to hold people of Severus' quality.

"They were a bit busy," Severus stated, pulling a vial from inside his pocket. Hermione was already taking a defense stance.

"What do you want, Potioneer? I mean, you broke out jail, broke into my home, your latest heist...what's with you lately? Normally you aren't this careless," she commented, already thinking of at least three plans to disarm him.

"True, but things have changed, my little Otter. Things have come to my realization, things I never thought possible."

"Let me guess, you found religion?" she snapped, dodging as he took a step towards her. He laughed, the sound caught Hermione off guard. It wasn't the usual laugh, the condescending laugh of a man who thought he could get away with anything, no this one was stranger, almost genuine.

"No, I did find something though, something I didn't realize still existed," he stated, throwing the vial to the floor. It burst sending lilac colored smoke everywhere. Hermione coughed slightly.

"A set of handcuffs that can actually hold you?" Hermione teased, easily side stepping Severus. This fight was feeling more and more like a dance, each move calculated, neither actually hitting the other. She still didn't know why he was in her home.

"No, well, yes, I did find those also. Maybe you'd like to use them on me?" he suggested, pulling a pair of silvery cuffs from his pocket. Hermione blinked staring at him.

"Wait, what? You want me to arrest you?"

"Now, did I say anything about involving the police, my Otter?" he asked, almost purred, sending a thrill down Hermione's spine.

"No," she answered slowly, watching him. She couldn't help but admire his boldness, his way of moving with an almost insane grace.

"Exactly. How about we drop the game, show me yours?" he asked, sliding the mask from his face. Hermione stared at the man before her. She'd seen his face before, usually just in the papers. She left the unmasking part to the proper authorities, lest she get in some sort of legal trouble for doing something stupid. She couldn't deny the fact the man before her was gorgeous, that the images in the papers didn't do him justice.

"You want me to unmask?" she asked, trying to figure out the plan here. He already knew where she lived, did he know her identity too, she was sure he did, he was brilliant after all, well, save for his last plan.

"Yes, I'd like to see your face for once, not just the mask you hide behind."

Hermione found her fingers against her face, tracing where her flesh met the leather. Slowly, she pulled it off, revealing herself. She could feel him watching her, studying her. It didn't help the feeling of growing attraction her body kept building.

"You are more beautiful than I ever realized," he whispered, suddenly standing next to her. She gasped as he pulled her to him, kissing her lips. She pulled away, breathing rapidly, trying to sort out the spinning in her head.

"You did something to me," she stated, hoping it was true, that these feelings weren't real.

"I did nothing of the sort. What kind of man do you take me for?"

"A criminal," Hermione replied. "I know you did something, that vial..."

"Nothing more than a smoke bomb, my Otter. Something to distract you long enough for you to realize you return my attraction," he whispered in her hear, his lips touching her earlobe. Hermione gasped as her lips found his, pushing him against the nearest wall. His deft fingers sliding her out of her costume, tossing the clothing elsewhere. Within moments, she had undressed him as well, leading him to her bedroom.

"Now, about those cuffs?" she asked, giving him Severus a smirk.

"I promise not to break out of them, unless you tell me, of course," he answered, handing them too her. She nodded, slowly cuffing her arch nemesis to her bed as she climbed on top of him. She traced her fingers down his chest, down his stomach until she reached his cock.

"I have to admit, I always did wonder what was under those robes you wore," she stated, pulling her hand back.

"And do you like what you see?" he asked. Hermione nodded slowly as she brought her lips to his again, her entire body pressing against him. She slid against him, letting his member slide against her wettening nethers. Within a minute, he was inside her, deep. She moaned, pushing him against the bed, the handcuffs jingling as she moved.

"Now, want to explain the ring?" she asked, as she pulled him deeper and deeper into herself. He moaned loudly.

"No," he nearly screamed as she tightened around him, her lips brushing against his neck, her teeth toying with his flesh.

"I can make you talk," she purred, pushing him hard against the bed, nearly causing herself to scream in pleasure as he arched his back meeting her.

"Never," he hissed, as she whimpered, moaning louder and louder until her whimpers became screams. He came within seconds of her, thrashing against her, against the bed he was currently cuffed to. She finally finished, her hair plastered against her skin, her eyes shining as she kissed him, the kiss nearly sparking another set of orgasms. Finally, Hermione broke away, sliding onto the bed next to Severus.

"Really? You'll never talk? I mean, it was the worst of your plans, honestly... and I absolutely deplore diamonds. Rubies have so much more personality, don't you think?" she asked. Severus blinked, staring at her.

"You really are brilliant," he muttered. "Now, uncuff me," he ordered. She laughed.

"Now, why would I want to do that? You broke out of jail, do you really think I should let you go free?" she asked, tracing her fingers against his chest again. "Although, you do know a bit too much about me...maybe I should just keep you here?" she suggested, looking him over.

"Otter..."

"Hermione, when I'm not in costume, it's Hermione. I doubt you want me screaming 'Potioneer' in the middle of things?" she asked, cocking her head.

"Severus, call me Severus," he said, looking at her.

"Good, now that we've established that, I think I could really use some lunch. I have some left over fish. They feed you in jail?"

"No."

"Perfect, join me for lunch and then maybe, I don't know, I might be too busy to take you back?" she suggested, giving Severus a wink as she slowly unlocked the cuffs.

"Lunch sounds fine," he replied, following her from the room, leaving the cuffs still hanging from her bed frame. They might need them again later. He also had to figure out which exhibition was currently showing a priceless, rare, and very large ruby ring, but there would be time for that later, if Hermione didn't suddenly have a change of heart and throw him to the police again.
