Unexpected Bonding Moment with the Enemy

Erza's group are continuing their journey to find one of the magic Clock pieces going to this ancient library, but right now there appears to be one problem that is hindering them from reaching the end of their goal.

"Hmm… It would appear we took a wrong turn somewhere." Erza noticed as she looks at the map of the forest to the library.

"It feels as if we've been wandering around aimlessly all day, if ya ask me." Cana exclaimed.

"Don't you have the directions to get there?" Wendy asked.

"I have the map I've been using, but the details are extremely vague." Erza admitted as she is having a hard time reading this map to know where they are.

"I'm afraid that we're just going to have to rely on these road signs to show us the way." Erza looked at the road sign pointing the way to the library.

"That's all well and good, but can anybody tell me which direction this sign is actually pointing?" Carla asked pointing at this road sign as she finds this odd.

"Now that you mention it, it is a bit confusing." Wendy said as the others started to notice that too.

"Yes, to say the least… You don't suppose that this could be somebody's sick idea of a prank?" Carla wondered.

"That'd be a really crappy thing to do. Besides, isn't it a crime to change the direction of a sign? One wrong turn could put somebody in real danger." Cana stated.

"We should at least be getting closer. Let's proceed with caution while checking the map as well." Erza advised.

"But first… Why don't have a greeting with the ones who have been spying on us!" Erza threw a sword at one tree one causing it shake rapidly.

"AAAAHH?!" A little girl screamed as she fell onto the ground.

"What was that just now?" Cana asked surprise.

"Perhaps a spy that is trying to bring us down the wrong road." Erza marched to the intruder with two swords in her hands.

"AH! No wait, I'm not an enemy, I'm just a lost girl with her master trying to figure out where we are!" The girl panicked and held up her staff.

"Then would you mind telling us why you have been following us since we came to this forest." Erza demanded for answers.

"Like she said, we're just lost and trying to find our way home." A woman said revealing herself from a tree.

"Who are you, my name is Erza Scarlet, a wizard from the Fairy Tail guild." Erza introduced herself to the new faces.

"It would seem you have manners to give your name first to meeting new faces, that gets you 25 points." The woman with the pointy ears impressed.

"25 points?" Wendy, Carla, and Cana confused.

"My name is Alleyne, the Fighting Master." Alleyne greeted.

Alleyne has long platinum blonde hair and blue eyes. She wears a red beret with the lower part having four leaf clover patterns. She wears an elegant red and gold cloak, and underneath that she has a short green elven shirt and sleeves with bracers with darker green ends. On her lower body she has a short green elven skirt with a small white cloth and a belt with four leaf clovers and a four leaf, Celtic-designed clover buckle. On her legs she wears green thigh-high elven boots. Breasts sizes: D-cup.

"Nowa, stand up and introduce yourselves and stand up properly too." Alleyne ordered her pupil.

"Oh, huh, yes ma'am!" The little girl nodded and quickly got back up.

"H-Hello, my name is Nowa and I'm the Forest Keeper." Nowa introduced herself nervously.

Nowa is a short girl with white skin, amber eyes, long brown hair that is tied in ponytails with a pair of orange beads. She wears orange armguards and one for the legs too. She wears an orange outfit with white cloth that covers her breasts and a skirt. Breasts sizes: C-cup.

"Hello there, it's nice to meet you all. I'm Wendy Marvell and this here is my kitty companion, Carla." Wendy greeted friendly.

"Wendy, no need to get all friendly with people who could be enemies!" Carla gasped.

"Yo, I'm Cana Alberona." Cana said with a peace sign.

"You too!" Carla gasped at the fortune-telling young woman.

"Master, they seem like nice humans like Leina." Nowa commented.

"Yes, but I also sense that these humans are very strong as well, stronger than anything I have ever seen." Alleyne said.

"Well, from how you keep calling us "humans" must mean you aren't humans yourselves because of the pointy ears." Carla pointed out.

"No way, you two are really elves! That's so cool, I've always wanted to meet elves!" Wendy amazed.

"Well, truth is I'm actually half-elf but that is a very nice thing to say." Nowa smiled.

"Hold on, I just realize she just about Leina's name." Cana realized.

"Then that would mean you know of the thee Vance sisters as well." Erza came to that conclusion as well.

"You really know Leina? We've been trying to find our way back home for an entire week, but we couldn't find anything that could help us with that." Nowa explained.

"We're in the middle of a mission right now, but if you willingly come with us then I promise we can take you to Leina and we'll give you the full explanation of your situation along the way." Erza offered as she put her swords away in her magical dimension pocket.

"You do make a good offer and you put your weapons away to show a sign that you mean no harm to us, a strong warrior with a gentle heart." Alleyne commented.

"I become strict if I must when given the situation." Erza said.

"Yeah, or good nuts for a strawberry shortcake." Cana teased.

"I say we should go, I know we just met them and all, but I have a really good feeling we can trust these humans." Nowa stated.

Allyene form a smile on her face to see how well Nowa is with her kind soul and being good judge of characters on these people, she too can sense the goodness in them.

"Very well, we shall take your offer and join your journey. You scored 70." Alleyne accepted the offer.

"Wow, 70 points! I never got a score like that, it means she really sees you as a warrior!" Nowa excited.

"Yeah, that still doesn't explain the scoring part." Cana said.

"Well, welcome board." Wendy greeted friendly again.

"Then we should be going that way since you all just discovered this sign has been altered." Alleyne mentioned the road sign.

"I'm still having trouble if this was a random prank or someone trying to send us off." Carla said before the group walks away on one path.

Unknown to them, something strange and bouncy round popped out of the brush under the road sign.

(With Natsu and Lucy's Group)

Seconds after Happy was accidentally turned into a giant by Dan's spear and stomped onto Claudette, he thought about keeping everyone safe from himself by flying around though still freaking out and his flying causes some wind to blow on away.

"Hey, I think the flying thing isn't working for you right now!" Setra shouted at the cat.

"But if I get back on the ground, I'm afraid I'm gonna squash somebody!" Happy said before crushing some ruin buildings.

"I know these are ruins, but they're part of Fiore's History! We can't afford to ruin them any further!" Coco stated.

"I too agree with her as I come from an ancient city." Menace nodded.

"I'm more afraid of these rocks ruining my skull!" Romeo said dodging the falling rocks.

"Hey knight guy, you better fix this mess or else I'm gonna snap your neck with my chain!" Shizuka threatened.

"I was just about to do that!" Dan shouted back.

"Alright, you overgrown flea-bag!" Dan jumped at Happy and stab him on the nose with his spear shrinking Happy back to normal.

"Hey blue freak, you're small again!" Elina shouted as Happy started to realize.

"Everyone is back to normal size." Michelle smiled.

"Now we can go back to finding that missing clock piece." Leina said.

"I hated being a monster." Happy cried.

"But how are we gonna find the stupid thing if we don't even know where to start looking?" Romeo asked.

"Yes, searching this place will feel like a maze." Claudette commented.

"I'm really sorry for stepping on you earlier!" Happy apologized.

"Don't worry, you didn't hurt me that badly and it was an accident because you were panicking, that's all." Claudette stated.

"Don't worry about where to look, I brough the book along with me to help us figure out some more clues." Lucy showed the children book, Key to the Starry Heaven.

"A book is going to help us find some ancient artifact?" Shizuka confused.

"That's right, this book is based on the clock pieces we're searching for." Leina explained.

Meanwhile, Dan and Coco are watching them from above and a little far away.

"If we get our hands on that back, we could find the piece in no time!" Coco proclaimed which was loud enough for the Fairy Tail group to notice them.

"So, hand it over, blondie!" Coco ran down the old building toward Lucy for the book.

"Get back!" Romeo fired a purple fireball.

"You will go no further!" Claudette unleashed a lightning bolt attack.

The two attacks forces Coco to jump back and stop her advancement to the group.

"Come on, this is our chance!" Lucy shouted they start running.

"You can't get away from us!" Dan stated.

"Good, because I ain't running! I'm staying right here! Cause I still owe you a serious butt kicking!" Natsu decided to fight Dan again.

"I'm staying too, I too owe this man for the humiliating defeat back at the mansion." Claudette pointed her sword at Dan.

"My beloved, do you need my help with this as well?" Menace asked.

"No, you go with the others and find that clock piece and make it fast because this fight will break some more things." Natsu pounded his flaming his fists together.

"You got it! Hope you'll give me a kiss when we see each other!" Menace giggled causing Natsu to blush again.

"Hey, get back here!" Coco chased the others leaving Dan to fight off those two.

"O-Okay, time to pound you into Hell!" Natsu yelled at Dan.

"If you stand in my way, be prepared to pay the ultimate price!" Dan glared Natsu and Claudette.

"I'm ready to settle the score once and for all!" Natsu said.

"You should be the one preparing to suffer the consequences for messing with Fairy Tail!" Claudette emitted her lightning magic into her sword.

Meanwhile, Lucy and the others are running while the youngest Heartfilia girl is reading the book to search for any clues to find the clock piece in this ruin, and Coco is right on their tail.

"I got you now!" Coco smirked.

"You're getting annoying!" Elina growled and changed into her Take Over: Cheetah form to clash at Coco.

"A dog like you needs to know when to heel!" Elina mocked.

"I do and I can also bite back!" Coco glared.

"So, where is the piece? Have you figured it out yet?" Michelle asked.

"I'm still looking…" Lucy looked at the book some more.

However, Lucy should have look straight while running as she bumps into a holy statue which the eyes glow red causing a square-shape hole to suddenly appear right under them to drop them down along with Elina and Coco as they stumble upon it during their clash.

"Seriously?! What is with the falling!" Elina shouted angry as she and the others are landing onto some rocks and using their weapons to hold on.

"Aw man, I guess I ran out of magic power…" Coco exclaimed, then she screams upon seeing a skull.

Lucy looks over to Coco being helpless and scared, kind of reminding of her the other Coco from that Edolas world even though she is the opposite of this one and decided to do something despite there is a chance that this might come back to hunt her later.

"Leina, hold this." Lucy handed Leina the book.

"What are you going to do?" Leina asked.

Instead of answering, Lucy held out her hand to Coco much to everyone's surprise that she is trying to help an enemy.

"Lucy, are you out of your mind!" Elina gasped.

"I do, this is just how I am these days." Lucy nodded and turns back to Coco.

"Here, grabs my hand." Lucy offered a help to Coco hopefully to get out of this place together.

"I can't accept an enemy's mercy." Coco turned down the offer as she has her pride as Legion Platoon.

"Would you quit being so darn stubborn?!" Lucy said.

"I would take it if I were you. You're low on energy right now and it probably won't be long before you fall to the bottom of this hole, if it even has a bottom." Shizuka pointed out.

Coco knew that ninja woman has a point about the state she is in, but she isn't sure about trusting an enemy to help her out since they went against Zentopia and believe them to be doing something dangerous with the clock piece.

Then she felt her arm being grabbed by Lucy and a gentle smile on her face, giving Coco a brief moment to see that she doesn't mean any harm.

But that moment is ruined when the rock beneath Lucy's feet breaks down causing both her and Coco to roll down the hole.

"Lucy!" Elina quickly threw her spear rope to grab Lucy and maybe Coco to pull them up, but she slipped, and she went down with them.

"Oh no, Lucy! Elina!" Leina worried.

"Are you two okay?" Michelle called out, hoping they're okay.

"Yeah, we're still alive." Lucy responded.

"It's official, God is insulting the Heartfilia family for whatever stupid reason." Elina growled and turned to Coco.

"Hey, are you okay too or whatever?" Elina asked deadpan.

"Uh, yeah, I guess." Coco answered with a sweatdrop.

"Do you want us to come down and help you?" Menace asked.

"No, don't worry about us. You guys just hurry up and find that clock piece!" Lucy suggested.

"Are you sure? We don't even know if you can find your way around." Shizuka stated.

"We'll find a way and meet up with your guys eventually. I'm sure!" Lucy believed.

Leina didn't like this, to leave her two younger sisters down there with Coco who is the enemy though thought about the Legion Platoon really bad people but have their reason for doing what they need to do. Still, she will have to trust Lucy's decision leaving the search to them while she, Elina, and Coco will try to find their way out.

"Lucy, we'll go find the clock piece, but I doubt we'll make some progress without your help. So, try to find us as quickly as you can." Leina said.

"Don't worry, we will." Lucy nodded.

"Remember to be brave and strong in both the mind and body like a warrior. I wish you luck, Celestial Warrior Lucy." Leina said before walking away with the others following her.

"Celestia Warrior, mind telling me what's that about?" Shizuka asked.

"Is it because of her Celestia Spirits?" Menace asked as well.

"Something like that, but I also have to put my trust in Lucy to be on her own for now." Leina explained.

"Now, let's go find that clock piece!" Leina declared as the others cheered.

"Huh, Celestial Warrior? Well, I guess it's nice to have a warrior title like my sisters." Lucy smiled.

"Well, great title and all, but we still need to get out of here." Elina pointed out.

"Here, let me help you up." Lucy offered her hand to Coco, but she smacks it away.

"You better get away from me! In case you haven't noticed, your so-called "help" is how we got stuck down here in the first place!" Coco yelled upset.

"You better watch your mouth, little girl!" Lucy yelled back.

"If you wish to be something worse than I'll be happy to help you!" Elina growled.

"I can't think of any place worse than being trapped down here with you two!" Coco yelled back.

"What is with the attitude? You know, I once met someone who looks and sounds a lot like you; except she wasn't such a brat." Lucy referred to Coco from Edolas.

"Wow… what a great story." Coco said sarcastically.

"Obviously, that wasn't me, so get over it!" Coco said making Lucy made.

"You sure it was wise to save her?" Elina asked.

"I'm starting to regret that now." Lucy grunted clutching her fist.
