Special II: Chelsea, the Flare Baroness: Part 1
(AN: The first half of this chapter takes place in the middle of Chapter 5, which was right after Chelsea made a call to Tyler's mother, Meilani. The other half of it took place after the one-week timeskip that occurred in the middle of the same chapter.)
Once she entered the Pokémon Center, Chelsea immediately rented a room for her to stay for the night. After leaving her belongings in her room, she proceeded to go towards the vacant battlefield in the back of the Pokémon Center, to train for the upcoming Pokémon Showcase, which was to be held in Laverre City in the coming days. She began to train with two of her Pokémon for two hours, which by the time they were done, it was already nighttime.
"I think that's enough for today, don't you think?" Chelsea stated, telling her two Pokémon.
The first one was a bipedal, fox-like Pokémon. It is covered in a coat of long fur that resembles a robe. This "robe" is primarily dark red with red-orange, flame-like markings near its knees. There is also a thin tuft of white fur on its torso, which is flanked by yellow fur draping down from its shoulders. Its forearms feature long red fur resembling sleeves, and its hands and feet are dark gray with three clawed fingers and toes, respectively. A tail covered in yellow fur protrudes from its "robe". Its head is yellow with longer white fur on its cheeks. It has red eyes and a slender snout with a pinkish nose. Three tufts of red-orange fur protrude out of each ear. This was a Delphox, the very first Pokémon that Chelsea had ever had since the former was a Fennekin.
The second one was a large, brownish-gray Pokémon with two horns: a larger one on its nose, and a smaller one above it. The larger horn is divided into three sections by two thin slanted rings, making the horn resemble a drill. Its hide is partially covered by orange, rocky plates on its head, shoulders, arms, waist, and knees. It has blade-like protrusions on its elbows and has holes in the palms of its hands which work as cannons or guns. It has three blunt, gray fingers on each hand, two gray toes on each foot, and a club-like tail. Its eyes have red irises with what appear to be two thick, rectangular rocks above each one, resembling heavy eyebrows. This Pokémon was a Rhyperior, who despite not being fit for performing, was very good at it.
"Delphox." Delphox said.
"Perior. Rhyperior." Rhyperior remarked.
"You could say that again." Chelsea stated before she returned her Pokémon before walking back to the Pokémon Center, where she had Nurse Joy heal them up before having dinner.
Once she was done, she proceeded to reach her room, Chelsea fell to the bed as she was completely exhausted from training and travelling.
"I'm more or less ready for my second Pokémon Showcase." The honey blonde young woman muttered as she pulled out her Holo Caster to see some news. Unfortunately, there was nothing that earned her attention. "Nothing interesting happened in the past few days, which is boring…" But then she remembered about the one instance she heard earlier. "Come to think of it, there was that…" She began to recall how Meilani called her about Tyler's whereabouts, which she replied by having no idea where he could've gone. She could tell something was off about it as Tyler was the one who would've told his mother where he was going.
"Nothing good worrying about him." Chelsea shrugged it off. "He's a big boy, so he could take care of things himself…" She continued before hearing a ring from her phone.
"Oh, it's Irina." Chelsea then proceeded to answer the call. "Hey, what's up?"
"Hey there, bestie! How are you doing?" A voice belonging to a girl at Chelsea's age.
"Nothing much. I was about to go to sleep after training for the upcoming Pokémon Showcase." The honey blonde young woman answered.
"Well, that's great! I'm happy for you, bestie!" Irina replied excitedly.
The one on the phone was Irina Bellora, the current Kalos Queen and Chelsea's best friend. She was with Chelsea ever since kindergarten, making them inseparable. Chelsea was also a promising Showcase Performer… until years later when she got involved into an incident with her fiancée. Said accident was about how Chelsea assaulted him, but in reality she was the victim in the incident and was just defending herself against her aggressive fiancée. Her own parents disowned her for not being submissive to her fiancée, who was the heir of a company, and when she tried to seek Irina for comfort, the latter wasn't there to comfort. Feeling being betrayed by everyone she knew and loved in the world, she had no one to turn to… Until she was approached by a man named Lysandre, who took pity for her condition at the time. When Chelsea was offered the chance to join his organizations to cleanse the world of filth, she took it.
As of that day, her life was led astray as she became a high-ranking member of Lysandre's organization, Team Flare. And at that point, Chelsea became fully convinced there was no good thing in the world she lived in, so she was willing to go through whatever atrocities the organization ordered her to do. But… it all changed when she met Tyler at Glittering Cave, who had the audacity to defy her. It then culminated in her fight with him for the final time when protecting the Ultimate Weapon, where she ranted of how everyone turned their backs from her and even her own best friend betrayed her, fully willing to leave her to be killed with everyone else by the organization's weapon. After she was defeated, the man who saved her ended up calling her to be "useless", disowning her just like everyone else and making Chelsea overwhelmed with sorrow and despair. Fortunately, it's only when Tyler rescued her when the Ultimate Weapon self-destructed that she realized there was still some good in the world. It was at that moment that she began to see Tyler, the thorn of her side, in a new light. After clearing up her name of her incident by arresting her parents and her fiancée, Chelsea resolved to live her life for her sake… and for others who believed in her.
"Even so, I still have a way to go before catching up to you, Kalos Queen." Chelsea said with a smile.
"What are you talking about, Chelsea? I saw your first performance on TV. It was beautiful and amazing!" Her best friend stated. "Despite your brief gig as a member of Team Flare and some people hated you for that, I still support you. I know… that you are the one who will be the next Kalos Queen." She cheered.
For Irina, she cherished Chelsea above all else, even the Pokémon Showcase that she adored so much. Chelsea was told by her of how regretful she was for not being there when her best friend needed her the most. She was so busy preparing for performances that she had no time to support Chelsea. It was then after she became Kalos Queen when she was called by Chelsea. She was shocked at the time that the best friend that she hadn't heard recently bid her farewell, where she said that Irina and everyone who was not in Team Flare would perish by the Ultimate Weapon. After being rescued by Tyler, Irina dropped everything and headed towards her best friend, where the two young women tearfully reconciled with each other.
"Thanks, Irina. I'm not going to let you down." Chelsea stated.
"Same from me to you, bestie." Irina replied. "Say, have you made any moves yet?"
"What moves?" She asked.
"You know what I'm talking about. That Tyler guy who rescued you. Have you made any advance towards him yet?" Irina teased, causing Chelsea's cheeks to blush.
"N-No, I haven't— I-I mean I don't!" Chelsea denied. "Where did you get that idea!?"
"It's very obvious at this point. I mean, you kinda almost talk about him ever since that day." Irina stated. "Let's face it, you're in love with him, aren't you?"
"While I owe him for everything he did for me, I don't have any feelings for him!" Chelsea said. "It's not like I l-love him or anything! I just saw him differently than the delinquent that I always thought of him." She denied but her feelings said otherwise.
"You're such a tsundere, you know that? I think Tyler will find that quirk cute."
"Irina! Don't say it like that!" Chelsea said. "Anyway, I'm going to sleep now! Goodbye!"
"I see how it is, but I won't pry. Bye, bestie!" Irina stated before the embarrassed young woman ended the call.
"That Irina. Always the jokester…" Chelsea muttered as she proceeded to change her outfit to her pajamas before she lay down on the bed once more. "But… she was not wrong."
Her relationship with Tyler started out from how Chelsea was sore of her loss against him during her first encounter. She tried to shrug it off, but she couldn't stop thinking about him. Her second defeat at Kalos Power Plant solidified her fixation towards him. Her third loss at the Frost Cavern was even more frustrating because she was told by Lysandre to retreat just as she was about to do a rematch. Eventually, her hatred of him was tremendous when Tyler defeated her the fourth time, which was in an attempt to protect the Ultimate Weapon. But, all manner of animosity towards him was dropped when Tyler rescued her and gave her a motivational speech to live her life for herself and she should never give up and keep moving forward. If Chelsea could describe Tyler in one word, that word would be him as her… Hero. No matter how much she denied it, there was no doubt that Tyler was her other goal.
"I hope wherever he is, he's okay…" Chelsea muttered before she fell asleep. Little did she know, a magic circle appeared underneath her and began to transport her and her belongings to somewhere.
(The next morning…)
"Miss… Wake up…"
Chelsea slowly opened her eyes after hearing the unfamiliar voice.
"Ugh… Who called me this early…" Chelsea groaned as she started to come around.
By the time she fully awakened, Chelsea realized two things. First, she found herself in a different room since she doesn't remember the interior of her current room. Second… She was not alone. Standing in front of her was a young man with a staff on his hand.
"Ah, you have awakened. That is a relief." The stranger commented. "Good morning—"
Chelsea decided to retort in a most appropriate way. "Kyaah! Pervert!" She shouted before she slapped him in the face.
"Gack!" The stranger gagged as the slap sent him falling to the floor. "Ow… What a way to start a morning…"
"Who the hell are you!? And where am I!?" Chelsea stated before she realized there was something on her other hand. Said hand was holding an unusual hammer with a navy-blue gem on it. "And what is this!?" She tried to throw it away but it kept coming back to her hand, much to her disappointment. "The hell!? This hammer stuck to me!"
"Ah, yes. About that." She turned to see the stranger who stood up. "But first, I apologize for making you react in such a way. It was never my intention to frighten you, Miss."
"Who are you? Are you some kinda weirdo? Or a pervert?" Chelsea asked defensively.
"I'm neither eccentric nor perverted, Miss." The young man assured her. "Do not worry. No harm will ever come to you. You have my word."
"I'd believe you, but you almost sounded like my ex." Chelsea stated while being hostile towards the sole male in the room.
"Oh, dear…" The young man said with sweat drops.
"Start talking, perv! Where am I!? I know for a fact that this isn't one of the rooms in the Pokémon Center. Are you a kidnapper too, on top of being a pervert and a creep?" Chelsea inquired.
"I did not kidnap you. I simply summoned you to this world. Using the hammer that you currently have on hand." The young man in a long jacket explained.
"Same thi—" She stopped herself when she heard something interesting. "Wait. What do you mean by "this world"? Are you saying I'm in a completely different world?"
"In a word, yes." The young man confirmed. "But you must calm yourself down before I explain all that I know. Your reaction is understandable. If I was in your place, I would be panicking too."
Chelsea couldn't believe whatever came from the stranger's mouth, but she didn't deny when he said that she was in another world. After putting some things into consideration, she finally calmed down.
"Fine. Can you please explain what's going on?" She demanded while still glaring at him.
"It's a relief that you have calmed down." The stranger stated. "Before I answer, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Merleo Goneri. I am but a wandering, humble mage." He greeted her.
"Sure, whatever." Chelsea said. "I'm Chelsea Arel."
"All right, Miss Chelsea. Allow me to explain…" Merleo stated before he began to explain what he knew to Chelsea.
Starting from where they currently are, which was within the kingdom of Melromarc. He explained the circumstances of the kingdom, its system, as well as the Waves that threatened the world. But the main focus of his explanation was the Four Cardinal Heroes. Chelsea learned that these Heroes were summoned to this world just like her, but it was by the kingdom's church. Merleo also confided that he sensed some "side effects" that resulted from summoning all four Cardinal Heroes, with the young mage speculating that someone or something may have been dragged to this world unwillingly. But he was unable to confirm it.
The summoned young woman then heard that the king alienated one of their Heroes, the Shield Hero, in response to a scandal between him and the first princess, which Chelsea couldn't help but to sympathize with the Shield Hero because what happened to him was similar to her own experience.
"… And then a few days ago, the unexpected happened." Merleo stated. "After surviving the Wave, the Spear Hero challenged the Shield Hero to a duel. For should he lose, he will lose his party members, especially his slave, a demihuman."
"Slave? Is that even allowed?" Chelsea asked with surprise in her tone.
"In Melromarc, it is. For the upper echelons of Melromarc, they deemed demihumans to be beneath them and slavery of them is an everyday occurrence." Merleo stated. "But if you are asking for my personal opinion, the duel was set up for the sole purpose of making the Shield Hero suffer. Using the oblivious Spear Hero to their advantage, they would continue to torment the poor fellow."
"That's just not fair." Chelsea stated, gritted her teeth.
"I agreed with your notion. I, too, felt extreme anger at this farce." Merleo nodded in agreement. "Because his Legendary Weapon limited his offensive power, the Shield Hero was forced to use other means to survive such as using Balloons to throw at his opponent and using his shield's capabilities."
"But did he win?" She asked.
"Quite close, but no. He was interrupted by a wind spell that casted upon him… by Princess Malty." He said the name with venom in his tone.
"Wait, he was attacked from someone's outside!? Isn't that supposed to be illegal?" Chelsea stated.
"Indeed, but I speculated that the king had his audience turn a blind eye at the Princess's interference. Even now, I am personally ashamed that the king of our kingdom would stoop so low as to condone such a thing. And I couldn't believe that the Spear Hero would rather take advantage of the situation than to notice the interference."
"This Spear Hero sounded like trouble…" Chelsea commented, disgusted by how ignorant he is. "Did the Shield Hero lose?"
"Fortunately, no. He was saved by another interference." Merleo continued. "This time, by a village maiden who stopped the duel. Oddly enough, this young lady has an uncanny ability to detect lies, something that brought her to the Shield Hero's side."
"I see."
"Afterwards, the young lady proposed a rematch. The change was that she proposed to have someone in the Shield Hero's party to fight the Spear Hero instead." The young mage explained. "And it was quite a battle, if I do say so myself. Despite using a weak and unimpressive monster to fight against the Spear Hero, the person commanding it managed to achieve a victory."
"A weak and unimpressive creature? And it was commanded by someone?" Chelsea repeated, becoming curious to the description. She immediately knew someone that fit that description. "Tell me, Merleo. Did the creature look like a small, serpentine-like creature with wings and a pointy tail?"
"Indeed it is."
"And the one who commanded it was a delinquent looking guy." She started to put some pieces together.
"Now that you mentioned it, the one who commanded the creature does resemble a thug. At least according to my informants." Merleo stated.
'There's no mistaking it! That's Tyler!' She contemplated. 'So he was in this world, too. Guess that explains why he wasn't seen lately.''
"Judging from your expression, I assume you knew this gentleman?" The young mage stated.
"Yeah. I've been looking for him recently. His name is Tyler by the way."
"I see." Merleo stated, understanding her answer. "Then it seems that he hailed from the same world as you." He continued. "Though, I am curious. What sort of a world did you and your acquaintance come from?"
"The world of Pokémon."
"Pokémon? Interesting…" Merleo said. "What are these "Pokémon" that you have described?"
"Well…" Chelsea decided to pull a Poké Ball. "It's better that I show you. Come on out and say hello, Delpho!" She threw the Poke Ball into the air, summoning the aforementioned Pokémon into the room.
"Well, this is a change of pace." Delphox commented before she looked at her Trainer, who was surprised. "What's wrong, Chelsea?"
"How come you can talk like a human!?" She exclaimed.
"Oh my Arceus, you're right! How can I talk like you?" Delphox stated, who was equally surprised.
"My… This is amazing!" Merleo complimented. "It resembles a fox and some sort of a wizard as well. These Pokémon creatures are intriguing…"
"Yeah. Pokémon came with all shapes and sizes back in my world." Chelsea explained. "That creature you mentioned was a Pokémon called a Dunsparce."
"I see." The young mage nodded. "But how does one know a Pokémon?"
"Well, we used this. A Pokédex." She pulled out her Pokédex which then showed the curious mage the picture of Dunsparce.
"Dunsparce, the Land Snake Pokémon. A Normal type. It digs into the ground with its tail and makes a maze-like nest. It can fly just a little."
"Interesting… So, it is like an automated bestiary." Merleo commented with amazement. "Your world has amazing gifts."
"Thank you… I think." The honey blonde young woman muttered with a sweatdrop
"Back to the topic at hand, would you perhaps wish to find this "Tyler" fellow?" Merleo said.
"Do you know where he is?" Chelsea inquired.
"No, but I can say for certain that wherever the Shield Hero goes, he follows." Merleo stated. "For he is a member of the Shield Hero's party,"
"So, if we find the Shield Hero, we'll find Tyler. Simple enough."
"If that is what you wish, allow me to accompany you." Merleo proclaimed. "I could guide your way through this world. For this world is one not without danger. Also, I am responsible for bringing you to this world without your consent."
"As long as you keep some thoughts to yourself, I don't have a problem." Chelsea stated.
"I shall accept those terms. You have my word." He bowed in gratitude before something came out in front of Chelsea, one which she would see in a video game.
"Are you serious?" The honey blonde young woman muttered as she stared at what appeared to be an invitation of allowing Merleo to join her "party".
"Is there something wrong, Miss Chelsea?" Her guide asked her,
"No, it's nothing." She assured him before pressing the "Accept" button on the notification.
"If all said and done, let us be—"
"Wait for a minute there!" Chelsea interrupted her guide. "I need to get changed first! So, if you don't mind, get out of the room."
"Ah, I see. As you wish." The young mage proceeded to leave the room so his summoned guest could change clothes.
It didn't take long for her to change clothes, donning her usual attire.
"All right, let's go." Chelsea told him.
"Of course. I shall lead the way." Merleo decided to walk forward as Chelsea followed him to wherever he led her…
(A week later…)
"Take this!" Chelsea shouted before she struck some giant badger-like monsters with her hammer.
At this point, her attire was now different compared to her first day in this world. Her attire now consisted of a navy blue, long-sleeved, ruffled dress with white lace trim at each tier of the skirt and two blue buttons on the bodice, blue knee-high boots with yellow socks, and a yellow and black gingham ascot tie around her high, lace collar.
"Zweit Holy!" Merleo chanted as he shot a ball of sparkling light towards some monsters, killing some of them. He noticed that the enemies' numbers were dwindling. "Miss Chelsea! This is our chance!"
"Right!" Chelsea said before she sprinted towards the stragglers. The head of the hammer then glowed in a blue outline. "Jag Hammer!" She shouted as she slammed to the ground hard, causing several pillars of rock to appear from the ground and impaled through the monsters, killing them in one strike.
"All right. I think we're done." The honey blonde stated as her hammer vanished.
"Yes, we have." Merleo agreed as he lowered his staff.
A week has passed ever since Chelsea's arrival in the new world. And so far, she hasn't found Tyler and the Shield Hero's party. The only thing she could get were just rumors about the three other Heroes from Merleo, who managed to get some information from one of his informants. Though Merleo heard of the "Savior of the Heavenly Fowl" who traveled place to place on the back of a majestic looking bird, healing the sick as well as doing business. He speculated that the rumored "Savior" is none other than the Shield Hero.
The reason for Chelsea's change of wardrobe? It was to blend in with the other people since people might see her as weird from her usual outfit. The outfit she is currently wearing was something she had on her as one of the outfits used in a Pokémon Showcase, which Merleo liked the concept of using Pokémon to do an amazing performance.
She also learned a lot about the world she is currently in. Firstly, Merleo revealed that her weapon was one of the "Seven Star Weapons", a type of weapon that worked almost like the four Legendary Weapons but with a few differences. In Chelsea's case, her weapon is the Seven Star Hammer. Merleo warned her to never show the weapon in front of Melromarc's royalties or to the Four Cardinal Heroes, lest the king detain them for simply possessing it and demand answers. When asked how Merleo acquired it, he simply answered that he simply "found" it during his time in exile.
"I must say, Miss Chelsea. You are rather adapted to fighting in the past few days." Merleo commented. "Your use of your weapon was excellent."
"I don't know, using a hammer makes me look like a brute." She remarked
"Nonsense. The Seven Star Hammer has deemed you as its suitable wielder." The young mage complimented. "That and also your command of Pokémon was excellent as well."
"Well, I am a Pokémon Trainer, after all." Chelsea added. "Let's keep going. I can see the sun was about to set, so we should check on an inn in town."
"An excellent proposal, Miss Chelsea! Let us part to the nearest town." And with that, the two proceeded to venture through the woodland they currently walked in order to reach the nearest town to stay for the night.
But after walking a few steps, Merleo sensed the presence of a creature up ahead. "Stop." He then put his hand in front of Chelsea, telling her to stop.
"What's wrong, Merleo?" She asked him.
"I sensed a presence. But I could not determine it. If it's a monster, then be wary and stay vigilant." Merleo told her as they began to move forward stealthily. It was then that they saw something that caught them by surprise.
"No… It can't be…" Chelsea mouthed in disbelief.
"Such an odd creature." Merleo commented.
The "creature" in question was a primary yellow colored, bipedal one with a small, pale-yellow snout and two short, pointed ears with pale yellow interiors. Its wide eyes are normally closed. Its body is segmented with black skin visible between its joints and along its neck. It has two brown, pauldron-shaped extensions on its shoulders, as well as a brown, fauld-like piece around its chest. It has three digits on each hand and foot, but its fingers are considerably shorter than its toes. Two of its toes face forward and one faces backward. Its tail is thick and long, with a brown band located near the tip.
"I knew it. This is a Pokémon." Chelsea said before turning towards Merleo. "I thought there were no Pokémon in this world?"
"Indeed, but the fact that you confirmed the one before us as a Pokémon meant that there was something amiss." Merleo speculated. "But what kind of Pokémon are we facing right now?"
"Here." The hammer wielder wasted no time to show the Pokémon's Pokédex entry.
"Abra, the Psi Pokémon. A Psychic type. Abra sleeps for eighteen hours a day. However, it can sense the presence of foes even while it is sleeping. In such a situation, this Pokémon immediately teleports to safety."
"So even in slumber, this Pokémon could evade attacks? Fascinating…" Merleo mouthed.
"If you're curious about it, why don't you capture it?" Chelsea asked, handing him an empty Poké Ball.
"Me? Capture it?" Merleo began to contemplate his options. Having a Pokémon, especially one that could teleport, would benefit him. Also, he was interested in the concept of training and bonding with a Pokémon. "Very well, I shall ascertain a new companion for our journey."
"Good. You should use the Poké Ball right now. Abra won't teleport away unless you attack it first." She advised him.
"Noted." Merleo heeded her advice before he decided to throw the Poké Ball in hand with a precise hit on Abra, who immediately went inside the Poké Ball. It only shook once before they heard a "Ding" sound.
"All right. Abra is now your Pokémon." Chelsea told her guide as he picked the Poké Ball.
"Rest assured, I shall treat you with due respect, my friend." Merleo said before he put the Poké Ball away. "All right. We should continue our journey forward."
"Sure. Lead the way." Chelsea stated before the two continued their venture.
By the time the sun reached the horizon, they managed to arrive at a town. With no time to spare, the two headed for the town's inn to sleep for the night.
"At last, we are here." Merleo said as he and Chelsea entered the inn, but not before he put his hood on. There, proceeded to walk towards a woman behind a counter. "One room for two, if you please."
The innkeeper proceeded to go through the door behind her in order to get to the back room.
At this point, Chelsea had gotten used to sleeping with a man. Though she has warned Merleo about doing something indecent to her and threatened him with severe repercussions if he did so much as to do something like that.
"Here you go." The innkeeper stated as she gave Merleo the key.
"All right, let's—" But before Chelsea could finish, an unfamiliar voice could be heard.
"Whoa. Aren't you just beautiful?" The two turned to see a certain ponytailed young man in white and red armor who had a unique looking spear on one of his hands. But he wasn't alone as he entered the inn with a certain redheaded princess/adventurer and three other girls with him.
"Oh no…" Merleo muttered under his breath, realized who they just ran into.
"I'm Motoyasu Kitamura, the Spear Hero." The flirt of a Hero introduced himself. "A pleasure to meet you." Motoyasu proceeded to hold one Chelsea's hands, who didn't appreciate what he was trying to do.
"Hands off, creep!" Chelsea stated as she slapped his hand away from him. "Don't talk to me as if you know who I am, casanova."
"How dare you do that to Sir Motoyasu!" Malty told Chelsea.
"Now now, Myne. It's all right." Motoyasu assured one of his girls before he focused his attention back to Chelsea. "I think I came a little too harshly. But I find that cold personality to be cute. You're a real life tsundere, you know."
"Geez. Thanks." Chelsea said with sarcasm, which the Spear Hero is oblivious to.
"You know, I had an idea." Motoyasu stated. "Why not join my party? Don't worry, you'll be treated equally like Myne here."
"A tempting offer, but that's a hard pass from me." Chelsea said, leaving the Spear Hero flabbergasted.
"Why not? Aren't you entranced by my looks?" Motoyasu asked. "In case you haven't noticed, not only that I'm one of the Cardinal Heroes, but I'm also good looking. What do you say? Care to join me?"
'This guy is unbelievable.' The honey blonde young woman muttered in her thoughts, annoyed by how adamant of him to have her join his party.
"My apologies, but Miss Chelsea will not be joining your party, Sir Hero." Merleo intervened as he stood in front of Chelsea in a protective manner.
"Oh yeah? And who are you to decide that?" Motoyasu inquired, getting hostile at the hooded mage.
"I personally care about her best interest." He retorted. "And your flirting brought nothing more than to displease her. I recommend that you stop with these advances at once."
"What did you say!?"
"You know, you sounded a little familiar." Merleo turned to Malty, who approached him with a glare. "Your attitude reminded me of a certain someone. One who used to be my family's court mage."
"Court mage?" Chelsea repeated, genuinely surprised at this newfound information.
"I didn't think you were the perceptive one." Merleo sighed before he opened his hood, revealing his face. "Princess Malty."
To Be Continued...
Next: Special II: Chelsea: Part 2
That's a wrap for the first part of the special chapter. I hope you enjoyed it!
So yeah, Chelsea has the Vassal Hammer, or the "Seven Star Hammer". I feel like it's a suitable weapon for her, all things considered.
Be sure to leave a review as always and see you at the second part of the special chapter.
