"That was a wonderous feast." Thor exclaimed.
"It was. The only time we had a bigger meal was when the love birds over there finally got engaged." Tony stated.

"After you, my lady." Steve said with a big grin as he held his hand to Natasha.
"Why thank you." Natasha said matching Steve's grin as she took his hand and climbed into the white sleigh. She sat down and was followed by Steve who covered their laps with the red blanket provided by the sleigh driver.
With a small snap of the reigns, the two horses began walking and the sleigh began to move.
Natasha smiled as they entered the park and were under the hundreds of lights hanging from the trees.
"It's amazing." she sighed softly as she leaned against Steve. "I've never had this kind of experience before."
"We can do this more often, if you want." Steve offered as he placed an arm around her shoulders.
"I would really like that." she said. "We don't get to have a lot of time for just us. The times we do, we always get called in for something."
"You don't have to worry about that this time. I made sure to tell everyone not to bother us tonight." Steve assured.
"And why is that?" Natasha asked as a light snow began to fall.
"Well, we do need the time together as a couple. We haven't had many successful dates because we're always on call. You deserve to be taken out for a relaxing night without worry of having to go into a fight within the next half hour."
"Steve, you always treat me far better than I deserve." Natasha said.
"Natasha, you're long over due for this kind of affection. You were denied it for so long that I think you believed you didn't deserve it. It's time you see that you do deserve every bit of it. Starting with this."
Natasha watched as Steve reached into his coat pocket and handed her a small black velvet box. Her heart began to beat faster inside her chest and she felt her ears start to burn.
Her breath began to shake when he opened the lid and revealed a diamond engagment ring.
"Natasha Romanoff, will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?"
For the first time since she could last remember, Natasha felt her eyes sting with tears. With a happy smile, she removed her white glove and allowed Steve to slip the ring onto her ring finger.
"I will." she answered and hugged him. "I will marry you, Steve."
Steve smiled greatly as he felt his own eyes fill with happy tears. Ever since he met Natasha, he knew he had to make her his bride.
Now they were finally engaged and soon they would be standing at the alter together saying their vows. He couldn't wait to see her in a beautiful wedding dress as she walked down the aisle.
The two sat in silence as they embraced each other all the way back to Avengers Tower.

"Cap, next time you make those stuffed mushrooms make double. There wasn't enough that night." Clint said.
"Aye. They were most enjoyable." Thor agreed. "That was a feast worthy of a celebration in Asgard. Although, I'm still unsure why wearing the lamp shade on one's head is part of the celebration."
Clint grinned as Tony laughed.
