"Give us a kiss." Tony teased as he leaned toward Natasha holding a mistletoe over his head.
"Tradition or not, Steve is the only one I'll be under the mistletoe with." Natasha replied.
"That's mean." Tony said.
"Not as mean as last year's Christmas shopping with you and Cap." Clint stated.

"HAPPY HOLIDAY'S!" Tony shouted as he walked into the room with a Santa hat on his head. "Is everyone ready to party?!"
"Tony! It's eleven in the morning." Steve stated.
"The party won't be until tonight. Calm down." Clint added.
"How can the two of you be so...timid on Christmas?!" Tony exclaimed. "Spangles, you of all people should be jumping off the walls."
"Tony, this is the first Christmas that I'm going to have since I was recovered from the ice." Steve reminded. "I don't even know how the holiday's have changed yet."
"Right. Remind me to take you shopping later. You'll see how the crowds, and prices, have changed."
"I noticed a little already." Steve said. "A sweater from Macy's in my time was fourteen scents. Now it's over twenty five dollars."
"Fourteen scents?" Clint repeated then looked over at Tony. "You got a time machine?"
"In the works. Anyway, we still need you to get a pretty present for Natasha."
"I have her present."
"I mean, one that she won't find old fashioned." Tony corrected. "Get her some serious bling!"
"She's not as fond of jewelry like most women." Steve stated.
"Boy, you are just a ray of Christmas joy." Tony said sarcastically.
"I'm just saying, I already have someting she'll like." Steve said with a small shrug.
"Well, at least that means you can come with the two of us and help us pick out something for our ladies." Tony stated.
"Ladies?" Steve repeated and looked over to Clint.
"I knew you couldn't keep that hairy lip shut." the archer stated then turned to the soldier. "I've been talking with this girl named Bobbi and playboy over here thinks we're an item."
"Are you?" Steve asked.
"No." Clint quickly answered.
"Keep telling yourself that." Tony said with a smirk as he headed toward the elevator. "Come on, you two. My credit card is begging to buy Pepper something pretty and expensive."
"Then I know exactly what she wants." Steve said.
"And how do you know that?" Tony questioned.
"I actually listen to what the ladies say."
"Goodie Two Shoes."
Clint smirked and followed the two into the elevator. Soon they were in a jewelry shop looking at things the archer knew he couldn't afford with five years worth of his salary.
"Believe me, she won't go for this." Steve insisted as Tony looked at a diamond necklace with matching earrings.
"Of course she will. Diamonds are the best friends to all ladies." Tony insisted as he had the clerk wrap the gift and the time for it to be delivered to the tower.
"I don't know about Pepper but I would like to strut this stuff." Clint said as he looked at diamond studded earrings. "Maybe I should give myself a Christmas present."
"I do it all the time." Tony said with a smirk before the three left the store.
"I easily believe that." Steve said.
"Me too." Clint agreed.
After grabbing lunch, the three continued to make their way throughout the large mall. Buying things here and there and even a few things for themselves.
It was near dark when they made their way back to the tower.
"Where have you been?" Pepper exclaimed once they entered the common room with their various gifts hidden.
"I actually got Capsicle into the mall." Tony exclaimed proudly.
"He's been there before." Natasha stated. "Pepper I drag him there all the time because he's the only one nice enough to accompany us on a shopping trip."
Tony lightly pouted but said nothing else. The rest of the night passed by quietly and everyone eventually went to bed, excited about opening presents the next morning.
Thanks to Tony setting an early wake up call, the Avengers and Pepper were gathered around the tree right at eight o'clock and were passing out presents.
Thor was super excited about getting a years supply of poptarts among various other gifts.
Tony watched as Steve presented Natasha with his gift he believed the spy would like. A new pair of throwing knives.
Steve was right. Natasha loved the knives.
"Pepper, Merry Christmas." Tony said as he handed his girlfriend her gift.
"Thank you." Pepper said and opened her present. She smiled when she saw the sparkling jewelry.
"Like it?" Tony asked.
"Well, it's not a giant stuffed puppy." she answered.
"What'd I tell you." Steve teased.
"Quiet!"

"It just goes to show, you need better listening skills." Natasha said. "Just pretend that you weren't paying attention and when you get the thing we actually want, that's the real gift we like."
"You women are so complicated." Tony lightly huffed.
