Hunn stood in front of Fred, confused and shocked.

The door closed behind them, and she was trapped. Even when confronted with Fred and George, her anxiety melted at their proximity. Relaxing her every worry and fear. Fred's eyes were scared and vulnerable, pleading with her, begging her to say something.

"Fred," she whispered, her eyes tearing up.

She didn't know what to say. For so long, they had been her only friends. She glanced over at George, but he had walked away down the corridor to his common room.

"I know it's sudden. I know everything is messed up right now. But please-." He held her hands to his chest and looked deeply into her eyes.

She panicked, "I'm late for class," blurted, then ran. She ran, and he didn't follow her.

"Just think about it!" he yelled as she turned the corner.

She did think about it, all through History of Magic, she thought about it, but she didn't think about just Fred. She thought about George too and how he made her feel warm and safe, while Fred made her feel adventurous and outgoing.

She thought about them both, everything they'd been through together, and how accepted they made her feel.

They were family.

She tried not to think about family but how they made her feel inside, and everything was all jumbled up.

They were cute, funny, nice, and so kind to everyone.

"Ms. Rose-Singer! We are recapping the Giant Wars now. Can you tell me when it took place in History, or have you been daydreaming this whole class hour?" Cuthbert Binns shouted at her, frustrated with her lack of attention

Hunn sighed, "The Giant Wars were wizarding bellicose conflicts that had historical significance, having taken place in, or earlier to, the end of the nineteenth century, Mr. Binns."

"Correct." He didn't look happy about it and turned back to the rest of the class to continue the lecture on Giant Generals and their tactics.

Hunn tried to pay attention after that, but her mind drifted to the summer ending. She remembered how she felt walking away from the twins into the bank. It felt like she shouldn't have gone without them. It felt like she needed to stay with them.

They worked on their pranks together. They involved her in everything. They woke up together, flew together, absolutely everything.

She remembered spending every night with them in their bed after the full moon because that's where she felt like she needed to be. She remembered feeling shy around them. Oddly, she thought they were cute, but she also remembered thinking they would leave her to abandon her because they would get bored or find someone new.

That all changed on the day of the full moon after they went out of their way to find a way to prove their loyalty and bonded friends for life. She wonder if that Latin spell changed things.

Hunn needed to see it and know before making any decisions on how she felt about them. Class ended, and she had an hour before Defense against the Dark Arts started with the Gryffindors.

Racing to their common room and muttering Lions tale, the portrait swung open, muttering about changing the password.

"Fred, George!" she called out.

"Oyy!" they yelled back from somewhere up above. They peered their head down the staircase and looked around. Feeling awkward, she waved and tucked her hair behind her ears.

"Hunn," Fred called down, racing over to her, but stopped a few feet away. George hung back, watching and staring at them as if he was fighting back something inside.

"I just need that book," she told them.

"What book? Don't you have enough books?" Fred asked, fixing his hair and pulling at his size to small shirt.

"No, never," she rolled her eyes, "but I'm looking for that book you got the Latin spell out of last year. Do you have it?" she asked, pulling out her wand and muttering, incrementum, his shirt increase in size to fit his taller frame and wider torso. She looked at George and did the same for his pants, covering his ankles.

"Thanks," They said together, checking out their larger clothes.

"Accio Flitwicks confiscated charms book," George said, waving his wand and pointing it up to their room. A moment later, the book zoomed out of their room and down the stairs, hitting George in the head as it landed above where he pointed his wand.

Hunn passed Fred, still pulling at his shirt, and took the book George held out to her. "Thanks," she started to rush off to the exit, but Fred grabbed her arm.

"Walk with us? We're going to the same lesson." He said, eyes pleading.

"Fred, I need a day or so. something changed after what we did under the full moon, and I need to know what that was before I can tell you anything. Please give me that, please." She looked down at her feet, feeling sad.

He released her quickly and nodded, looking down at his feet.

Hunn ran, turned, and ran off without another word. Out of the common room and down to Defense against the Dark Arts classroom. She sat in the back and pulled out her Advanced Latin book from her parent's vault, her vault. She looked through the Charms book from the twins, looking for 'Semper Tres Amantium' among the pages of unfamiliar language.

When she found the spell in the middle of the book, it was in thin, delicate print, looking very mystical. Immediately, she used the Latin book and started translating the spell word for word.

Starting with the title and she was not happy, Semper Tres Amantium was translated to "Always three lovers," she was shocked. This is not what the twins had said the spell was for.

Did they know they bonded them as lovers? Or was this an accident?

Students started filling the classroom, and Gryffindor and Ravenclaws filled the open seats. George and Angelina sat in front of her, and Fred sat in the open one next to Hunn, glancing at her and trying to get her attention.

Mad-Eye Moody rushed to the front of the classroom and slammed books around, making a lot of noise and commotion. Students started whispering to each other. Moody began his lesson on disarming charms, and Hunn ignored him, knowing the wand movement and the charm by heart.

She dived into her Latin book, continuing the translation as best she could. 'Connection so deep it binds us together, Forever.' The spell translation was not starting off well. Forever was coming up often, and she didn't know how much worse it could get.

'Two to bind the one, one to bind the two, Forever.'. They were bound to her, and she was to them. The connection was them to her and her to them. The twins were not affected by each other, just them to her and her to them.

Hunn's heart was pounding, and she didn't know what to do.

Fred shoved a note at her under the table, shoving it into her leg until she paid attention to him. She grabbed it and held it open under the desk so she could read 'What's wrong?'.

She placed it onto the books she had open took her quill scribbling, 'Nothing' under his handwriting, and passed it back.

Moving onto the next section of the spell, she blanched, 'Nothing can separate the trio, forever bound together'.

Forever.

Forever had her heart beating nonstop.

There was no way to undo this.

Oh god. 'Lies can't hide any secrets fade Forever.' They can't lie; they told her about this, and she wasn't worried about that, but the next section had her confused and concerned. 'Touch between the three, Brings pleasure, Forever.'

Her cheeks heated, and she closed her books quickly, hiding her writing when Moody walked past their desk.

"Am I to assume you can correctly perform the spell we have been discussing? Ms. Rose-Singer!" he yelled at her.

"Yes, sir," she told him, looking up, blush fading.

"Then demonstrate. Mr. Weasley!" he called out, directing them.

"Yes," The twins answered together.

"One of you is going to help Ms. Rose-Singer demonstrate for the class. To the front now!" he waved his wand and cleared the classroom so they had room.

Hunn walked to one end and Fred to the other. They raised their wands, and the class sat on the edge of their seats.

It was silent momentarily when Mood yelled out more instructions, "You will attempt to jinx her, Mr. Weasley, and Ms. Rose-Singer, you will defend."

Fred raised his wand, and before he could mutter his Jinx's, she waved her wand and yelled, "Expelliarmus!" A red light flew across the room and hit Fred square in the chest, knocking him to the ground with a thud and sending his wand flying.

"Well done!" Moody shouted, "Does anyone else want to challenge Ms. Rose-Singer?"

No one stood, "You're all chicken! Cowards!" he yelled, frowning

Hunn sat down in the back of the classroom and opened her books again. She continued translating while Moody lectured on being brave and taking risks only when you needed to.

'Children from the three, Into a life of love and caring, Forever.'

Children?

Fred shoved another note at her, and she took it, still feeling the lingering shock.

'Nice spell! I didn't have a chance!' he wrote with a smile she jotted down a reply quickly, 'Thanks,' and passed it back.

The last chunk was big and scary, 'Hearts are locked, and love magnifies, Forever, No way out Forever Three lovers, Forever Three Lovers Last, Forever the Trio.' No way out. Her heart sank, and she felt sick to her stomach.

She snatched the note from Fred and jotted down a message, 'We need to talk, you, George and me, Kitchens, tonight!'

She shoved it back at him and gathered her things before running out before the class ended without saying a word.

She ran to her common room and hid in bed with the curtains drawn around her. Crawling under the blankets, she discarded her school robes and tried to fall asleep but couldn't.

Thoughts were racing through her mind, and she couldn't seem to relax.

She pondered the effects of the spell and wondered if everything was fake. Her heart hurt and clenched inside her chest, squeezing.

The spell said it bound forever, was there any escape for them, or were they stuck with each other, bound, wanting but never really knowing if they truly loved each other because they wanted to?

Love?

She wanted to love them. She did love them.

Even before the spell.

The problem was, how would it even work? Three people, two of them and one of her. She was in over her head.

Is that something people even do?

A three-way relationship? Isn't that cheating?

Her heart pounded at the word and clenched in pain; tears sprang to her eyes, and she cried. She felt love in her chest. Her heart swelled at the thought of the twins, she wasn't mad, she wasn't angry, she was scared.

What about Fred? He said he liked her and wanted to be with her, were his feelings real? Or was it all the spell?

George was dating Angelina; he must not be affected at all, but Fred, the look in his eyes, was intense.

Hunn kept thinking of everything, and she analyzed the spell in her head repeatedly. The last line said, 'Love magnifies.'

What did that mean? Could the smallest feeling be magnified into something it's not?

God, she needed to know more.

Springing up, she glanced between the curtains, the sun was still in the sky, and she had time before meeting the twins.

Pulling on Fred's jumper, Hunn left for the library quickly.

The corridors were empty as she walked to the library.

Teachers were in their classes, and students didn't often come to the library during these hours. Hunn crept inside and felt calmed by the books.

Searching through the rows of bound paper was relaxing, making her feel at home and relaxed among the pages.

Pulling books off the shelves with her wand, they followed her in a stack as she walked, collecting more and more, hopefully, one of them had the answers she needed. Taking the books she gathered, Hunn went to the corner on the second floor and dived into them, the pages about charms and binding spells, enchantments, and magnifying emotions. Everything was jumbled together, most of it useless.

Magnifying emotions gets tricky; it takes what's there, and it makes it more potent than a love potion. If there was any emotion they felt for each other before the spell, it was going to be made ten times stronger by the effects of the spell.

The full moon we performed it under made the effects everlasting, using the strength of the moon's light and sealing the spell to our souls and bodies. There was no way out not unless one of them died.

The sun was setting outside the windows of the library, and the commotion outside the doors told her everyone was headed to dinner. She stuck her head back into her books and moved her body further into the nest she had created, hiding.

She picked up the last book and blanched as she turned the pages. If they felt love for each other, even one of them, the effects of the spell were going to make sure anyone who tried to come between the three of them was repulsing to the individual they touched, kissed, or tried to love.

They could never be with anyone outside the three of them. They would get struck with anxiety and overwhelming longing if separated from each other for too long.

They were stuck. Fred was stuck with her, and her with him or George, but George, it seemed as if he was free of the spell and its effects with Angelina.

She hoped he had a chance for true love. Her heart ached, and she felt jealous.

No, she wasn't jealous, she thought. If he could be free to choose his love, then she would let him.

Hunn placed the books back on their shelves and walked into the abandoned corridor. Traveling down to the kitchens, she tiptoed and walked slowly so as to not draw attention when she turned the corner and walked through Helena Ravenclaw.

Hunn shivered, feeling cold inside and out, and turned to face her.

Helena looked disappointed.

"What are you doing out of our common room, girl?" she asked, hovering in front of Hunn.

Hunn stood straighter, "I'm on my way to the kitchen, ma'am, I missed dinner."

"Why did you miss dinner?" she crossed her arms

Hunn shuffled her feet, "I was in the library."

"Doing what?" she prodded, crossing her ghostly arms.

"Just studying, ma'am," Hunn looked up at her, and she was staring at her sternly.

She floated around her, "You're lying."

"No, I'm not!" Hunn told her defensively she was studying, just not for class.

"You were in the library. I have no doubt about that, but you were not studying."

The hallway seemed darker as she continued to stare into Hunn's mind. She shrank away from her and looked down.

"What were you really doing?" she asked, leaning closer to Hunn.

"Research," Hunn whispered.

"On?"

"I forgot."

"I can just go ask the librarian what you were reading. She has a way of keeping a detailed record of everything taken off the shelf. To keep students out of trouble." She threatened, floating away quickly.

"No!" she stopped and looked back at her.

"I was researching binding spells, magnification spells, and charms, ma'am."

She looked confused, "You weren't trying to find the Lost Diadem?" she asked Hunn, looking concerned.

"No. I needed to know about the charms and spells I told you about."

"Binding spells and magnification spells are tricky. They are not allowed to be performed by students, Ms. Rose-Singer. Is there anything I need to know about?"

Hunn shook her head no, "May I get a snack from the kitchen ma'am?"

She narrowed her eyes, "Fine." She watched her walk away.

Hunn turned the last corner and found the large pare. She walked up to it and tickled it right in the center, causing it to giggle, opening the small door in front.

"Missus!" a shout came from within.

"Hooky?" Hunn called back as she poked her head around the counter and ran to stand before Hunn.

"What can I do for you, Missus?" she smiled largely and waited happily

"Can I have a small sandwich, please? And a glass of pumpkin juice?" she asked

"Yes, right away Missus!" she scampered off, and Hunn sat in a large red plush chair in the corner as she waited.

Someone entered as Hooky walked up to her with a snack. "Miser Weasley! How can Hooky help you?" she asked excitedly

"No, Hooky, I'm just here waiting for Hunn," Fred told her, walking in more. Hunn peeked her head in his direction.

"Missus Rose-Singer is here already, Miser Weasley." She took his hand and walked him over to where she sat.

"Hunn."

"Hello, Fred. Where's George?" she asked, looking back toward the door.

"He decided not to come." He looked mad, irritated that he hadn't wanted to come.

"Oh. He's with Angelina, isn't he?" She asked, picking at her food, feeling nauseous.

He nodded and looked down at his hands, "What did you want to talk about."

"The spell we did. It isn't what you thought it was, Fred."

He looked up, eyes wide, "We translated it!"

"How much of it did you translate, Fred? How far did you get?"

He shrugged, "The title."

"Fred! The title translated to 'Always Three Lovers!'" She yelled, "How could you translate that and still go through with it?"

"No! It was 'Forever Three Friends,'" he defended, "You must have looked at the wrong spell!"

"No, the spell we did was called 'Semper Tres Amantium'. That translates to 'Always Three Lovers' forever three friends would have been, Tres amici in perpetuum. Fred, the three of us are bound as lovers, not friends." She looked down at her shaking hands, her food forgotten.

It was a few moments before he responded, "So?" he asked, standing up and walking over to her. He sat next to her on the arm of the chair.

"Fred, the spell magnified what we felt for each other. It could have been nothing before the spell, but we won't ever know because it's too late. We're stuck with each other," she told him, feeling her heart sink deep.

"No! I know what I felt, Hunn. I liked you before the spell, and I like you now. I don't give a damn about the spell!" he was mad now, pacing in front of her chair.

"Fred. I don't think you understand."

"No! I understand perfectly! You don't!" he yelled, scooping her out of the chair and placing her on her feet, "Hunn, I like you. I love you. I have for a long time. I saw you being attacked in the hall, and I acted first, not caring who you were. When I got to know you, I fell in love. You were amazing, funny, and beautiful."

He pulled her closer by her upper arms and leaned down to be closer to her, "Hunn, I don't give a fuck about the spell. You're a kick-ass witch. I don't care about George. He's missing out if he doesn't want a chance at being with you."

"I don't think he was affected. He's with Angelina. I don't think he ever had romantic feelings for me, so he's free." Hunn whispered, doing her best not to sound saddened or angry.

"Trust me, he's not," Fred whispered again, sounding annoyed.

"What?"

"Nothing. Hunn, I want to be with you. Please let me." He asked in a soft voice, vulnerable.

She met his eyes and didn't know what to say. He moved closer, and she was frozen.

His lips met her, and they were perfect.

Hunn let her eyes close, and she felt a tingle go down her spine and travel through the rest of her body. His lips moved with her, and his tongue traveled across the seam of her lips.

She let him in, and the kiss went deeper. He pulled her close and held her against his chest, leaning down to meet her body with his own.

Hunn wrapped her arms around him in the middle and just kept kissing him. It felt perfect.

He pulled away and looked down at her, smiling.

She smiled, too. She felt happy.

"Hunn, don't worry about George," He started to say.

"George," she froze. Her mind flooded with images of George, his smile, and his laugh. Oh god. She loved him just as much as Fred.

"I can't. Fred, I can't. I love George, too." She pulled away and ran out of the kitchen, confused and frustrated.

"Too. She loves him, too. Damn it, George."
