"This is one paper view event I could have lived without" Mendel said sadly "Is there no way to stop this?" Monique asked, refusing to give up. Randy scoffed "Not without their permission" He said, pointing to the soldiers at the back.

When the aliens were busy admiring the destruction, Nick leaned slightly to Mendel and whispered "We have to shut down the Tachyon broadcasts. That's how the aliens are magnifying the telepathic powers in controlling the monsters"

Mendel nodded before passing the message to Cordula who narrowed her eyes "Our invasion force draws near" The aliens said, gesturing to a screen above Randy that showed alien ships moving closer to Earth.

"Once the mutations have forced your armies to deplete their weaponry. The colonization of Earth and the enslavement of its people will begin"

Not if we stop it first.

Cordula never thought that the fate of the entire planet would now rest on their shoulders. She almost felt like this was all part of a dream sequence of a movie and any moment she would wake up from this nightmare and go on adventures again with the team and the big guy by her side again.

"If you want to take over our planet so badly, why are you destroying it?" Nick asked as he stepped forward. "Necessity. However your architectural designs are not displeasing to us. We hope to restore as many as we can" The aliens said.

"How comforting to be known throughout the cosmos as the species that created aluminum siding" Mendel said sarcastically that surprised Randy to look at him. "Remove them" The aliens said with a wave of its tentacle hands.

"Major, don't let the aliens use you as a puppet. Fight them" Nick pleaded, placing his hands on the major's shoulders to no avail when he pushed Nick to the ground.

"Nick!" Cordula shouted as she promptly pushed one soldier and ran to Nick's side only to be tackled. "Hey! Let her go!" Randy shouted as he shoved the soldier off her. Cordula gasped for much needed air and thanked Randy with a nod.

They were roughly escorted out and into a moving truck meant for prisoners.

There was silence inside, each member lost in their own thoughts when Mendel spoke up "Tachyons" Cordula glanced towards him "What about it?" Her question prompted Mendel to ask out loud "Why are the aliens using faster than light transmissions control monsters here on Earth?" Everyone looked at Mendel as he finished that sentence.

"They must be routing the commands to their alien home world then bouncing the signals back to Earth" Nick explained "Kind of like a walkie talkie although I much prefer them to be smaller size" Cordula winced when there was a slight jolt inside the truck.

"So you're saying these guys need their bosses back home to sign off on the creatures' marching orders?" Randy asked "Yes" Nick said "So severing the link to their home planet will not only cut them off with the monsters thereby freeing them from mind control, it can potentially disrupt their entire invasion plan" Cordula said in realization.

"And our best course of action is to obstruct all alien transmissions" Nick said with a serious look on his face "One small problem compadres. The mind readers aren't gonna let us fool around with their gear no matter how nice we ask" Randy said.

"Then we must be 'not nice'" Monique said with a smirk. Cordula listened outside "Looks like we're nearing wherever they're gonna take us. The truck's showing down" Cordula said.

"Get ready to move"

Outside, the soldiers moved to each side of the truck's doors when Monique suddenly kicked the door open, startling the soldiers to the ground as Nick and Monique tackled them to the ground and took their alien weapons.

Cordula jumped out of the truck to look around before shouting "Incoming!" When a group of soldier came running in with alien guns raised.

"Drop your weapons!" Monique warned. Nick grabbed a tranquilizer bomb from one of the unconscious soldier's pockets. The group of soldiers ignored Monique's warning and continued to advance "Do not make me shoot!" Monique shouted again, this time preparing to shoot the closest soldier.

Nick luckily threw the bomb on time before Monique could shoot anyone "Why would they not stop?" Monique asked as the remaining soldiers fell unconscious "They're under alien zombie control, zero free will" Randy reminded her "So which way now?" Mendel asked as Cordula grabbed one alien gun from a soldier and handed one to Randy.

"The Reflector" Nick said as they made their way inside the alien shell- like building with a blue satellite dish right behind it.

~oOo~

Cordula stared at the interior of the main control room of the building before her gaze drifted down to the controls "Okay, I am no expert on Alien Language or Alien Tech" Cordula stated before she moved for Mendel to take control "I should be able to broadcast from here" Mendel said "You wanna talk about or are you gonna actually do it?" Mendel gave Randy a glare before proceeding to hit buttons left and right that showcased data schematics on the satellite dish.

"Freeze" A cold voice made them stop and turn to see Elsie with an alien gun pointed at them "Come with me" Elise said stoically with no emotion on her face "Elsie, it's us. It's me, Nick. Don't you remember?" Nick said as he slowly moved towards her "Uh...Nick?" Cordula called out as she clenched the handle of her gun tightly. The worse case scenario is Elsie shooting at one of them and the other worse case scenario is one of them shooting Elsie, either way, Cordula didn't like the odds unless Elsie's snaps out of it.

Elsie frowned and for a moment, the gang saw her eyes turning back to normal "That's it Elsie. Resist them, put down the weapon" Nick said gently. Elsie's face suddenly twisted into a sneer before raising her weapon at Nick which jolted him and the rest behind him "The one you call Elsie is not in control" Elsie said before Monique lightly shoved Nick aside and stared straight into Elsie's eyes.

"Listen to me: It is dark and you have been searching but you cannot find the door" Monique waved her hand in front of Elsie's face which made the woman slowly close her eyes "It is right here. Reach out, turn the knob and run through the door. Regain possession of your mind and body" Monique stepped back as Elsie shook her head, let out a huge sigh before she slowly fell and would've hit the ground had it not been for Nick to catch her.

"I-I'm here. I'm back" Elsie's soft voice instead of the cold one echoing in the room made the team lightly sigh in relief "Hypnosis?" Randy looked at Monique in confusion "Neuro-linguistic Programming which combines hypnosis, acupressure and biofeedback" Monique said with a small smirk "I knew that" Randy said, Mendel and Cordula looked at each other before looking at Randy with different looks on their faces.

"Are you okay Elsie?" Cordula asked as she placed a hand on Elsie's shoulder "Th-The-That thing in my head. It's only a matter of time before it resumes control" Elsie said, blinking away the confusion that clouded her brain. She could still feel them, somewhere in the back of her mind and she didn't want to take chances with her team close to her.

The circular screen suddenly fizzed and there showed a clear view image of a few monsters and the destruction of the planet. "I'm broadcasting an identical Tachyon Transmission, exactly how to phase with theirs which should cancel out the alien signals...now" As soon as Mendel pressed the final button, the gang watched as the monsters suddenly stopped attacking the cities and began to calm down.

"Yeah!"

"Alright Mendel!"

"Dr. C you're a genius!" Randy said, delivering a pat in the back to Mendel. Randy halted "Woah, did I really say that?" Randy asked out loud. Just then the walls opened up to reveal more soldiers and the two aliens.

"You're too late" Nick said as he pointed a finger at the two aliens "Incorrect. The monsters have already fulfilled their mission. We will take possession of your planet" The aliens said before showing a video feed of the whole invasion slowly coming down to Earth "Now and Forever" The gang watched on in horror.

"This just went from bad to worse" Cordula groaned. She briefly wondered if her father and the rest of her family members were alright. "Earth will be ours and you're interference will no longer be tolerated, Dr. Chapman?" Cordula watched in horror as Elsie raised her alien gun to them with the intention of shooting one of them dead.

"Elsie no!" Nick cried out as he moved to protect the others behind him. Elsie suddenly blinked and began shooting at the walls which caused dust to float as the sections fell. Elsie quickly ran to them while everyone was disoriented from the blasts "What're you waiting for? Go!" Elsie shouted as she shoved them forward to a run.

"Which way?" Mendel cried out through the hailstorm of alien guns "Who cares?" Nick replied back "Anywhere but here would be a start!" Cordula shouted as she and Monique provided cover fire and aimed their shots to the ground, making more smoke for less visibility. They slid down a slope and headed straight for the safety of the trees.

Once they know they weren't being followed, they heaved sighs of reliefs "So now what?' Cordula asked as she straightened up. Nick narrowed his eyes as he scanned the area "Follow me" No one did anything to say otherwise, wanting this nightmare to end quickly.

~oOo~

Godzilla let out a roar when he regained control of his movements and proceeded to attack the flying alien ships that smelled different and foreign for him to be perceived as a threat. It was then solidified when those alien ships aimed their fire at him but Godzilla managed to escape.

The first thing on the forefront of his mind was to retreat and heal but then an even bigger issue was where his female was and if she was alright. With that in mind, Godzilla swam for miles, following the alien ships and scenting the area to see if he could detect a faint trace of his pack.

~oOo~

Everywhere the team went, soldiers surrounded the island which was why they were laying low for the time being "The monsters are free but that's not gonna do us much good" Nick said before turning his attention to Mendel "Are you sure the counter signal cut off the alien's communication with their home world?" Nick asked.

"Absolutely" Mendel said indignantly "I scrambled the circuitry so randomly it'll take them weeks to get back online" He explained further. "Well from what I'm seeing here, I doubt that" Cordula said as she looked at the soldiers moving about "Hmm...then perhaps we can...quesque se...throw another monkey wrench into their plan?" Monique asked with a playful smile on her face.

"Or as we say in English-" Randy began as he brought his arm around Monique and Mendel to which the former shrugged his arm off "-Sabotage" Nick finished, a plan forming in his head.

~oOo~

They headed off to a nearby building and wait to see if there were any soldiers patrolling the area "Looks like no one's minding this door" Randy said jokingly as he made a move to get up but was harshly pulled back by Monique "Hey! What is your problem?" Randy slightly shouted in surprise. Monique didn't say anything but threw a stick towards the building which disintegrated after it touched the invisible security shield.

"Oh..." Randy muttered in shock "Is there anyway to get through here without getting roasted?" Nick asked out loud "The knowledge is buried somewhere in my mind" Elsie said, making Mendel place his hand on her shoulder in comfort and worry "You really wanna risk those aliens taking over your brain again?" Elsie didn't say anything "So we just let'em take over the whole planet instead?!" Randy asked out loud.

Elsie turned her attention to Nick "What do you think Nick?" Nick looked at Elsie. She was scared but determined to see it through even if it means falling into the control of the aliens again "I think Elsie could do it" Cordula said out loud. All eyes turned to her "Elsie, you've fought them back before. You can do it, we've got your back 100%"

"And you're the only one who could make that call Elsie" Nick said, fully supporting Cordula "Remember, you have them locked in the corner of your mind. Open the door slowly, just a crack" Monique said. Elsie sighed before moving her way towards the control panels that were conveniently outside the building.

Elsie quickly deactivated the shield before the aliens could figure out she was using their telepathic knowledge "Elsie, what can you tell us about this facility?" Nick sked as they stood by in the entrance "Okay..uh...an emergency relay station. Its allowing the alien ships to communicate with one another"

"Looks like we hit a jackpot here" Cordula said as they entered the facility. Standing in the center was a Syionic Amplifier Array that controls all communications of alien ships. It looked more like a cell attached to many wires.

"We can generate a radiopathic feedback to overload the dampers" Mendel said before he jumped back when Monique literally blasted the controls with her alien gun "Or we could just blow it up" Mendel shrugged. The reaction was instantaneous as the cell like form exploded right in front of them. The gang took that sign as a que to run out "Go! Go! Go!" Nick shouted as they raced out of the building mere seconds before it exploded.

They landed in a ditch which protected them from being blown away by the blast. "You sure know how to show a girl a good time" Elsie said humorously "Only if the girl is into these types of things" Cordula added jokingly "Hmm...it would appear we underestimated your determination." The aliens said as they approached them. Cordula and Monique raised their guns.

"Eliminate them" The alien raised its tentacle like hand. Cordula and Monique let out surprised noises when their guns exploded. Cordula waved her hand to cool it off when she felt the heat of the blast on her hand. Monique leaned back against Nick as she clutched hers.

"Wait! You can't just destroy us" Nick shouted with raised arms in surrender. The alien stopped in its tracks "What about the scientific knowledge we possess?" Cordula snorted silently, she'd rather die with her knowledge locked up in her brain than to be stripped down by the aliens.

"Not worth the price...although" Cordula suddenly found herself pushed forward and stared straight into the alien's eyes "Hey!" Randy shouted in anger "I continue to wonder why Godzilla seems to respond to both of you" He eyed Nick and Cordula "Perhaps some knowledge does indeed to be worth the price" Nick and Cordula gaped before they were both shoved towards the ship while the others stayed behind.

"Nicky!" Elsie cried out "I refuse to be some sort of lab rat!" Cordula cried out as two soldiers held her down "Mine's worth it, really" Randy said before there was a familiar screeching sound right above them. Cordula kneed one soldier and broker free from the other's hold while Nick moved out of the way just in time for the large bat to come swooping right in, screeching and destroying the alien ship.

"Did not see that coming" Cordula commented "It's come to save us" Mendel said as he clasped his hands together "For what? Desert?" Randy asked as the bat swooped in again and the gang had to duck as a larger blast of air swept pass them. "Look!" Monique said as she pointed at the alien ships firing at the bat and the bat destroying it in one sonic blast "The bat perceives the aliens as intruders upon its territory" Monique said

"If the rest of the mutations feel the same way, Earth just may have a chance" Cordula whooped and fist pumped the air "Alright! Kiss Mother Nature's Ass!" Randy high-fived her "Never thought that line would actually become literal but I'm actually glad"

With the aliens on the ground preoccupied with the sudden turn of events, the gang made their escape towards the shores of the island just in time to see one of the alien ships skid to a stop and crash land into the sandy shore. They watched in shock as one of the aliens got out and literally melted like an ice cream Sunday on a hot summer's day.

"Woah...sunstroke?" Randy asked "Massive Anaphylactic Shock. Earth's environment is poisonous to them" Nick explained "That's why they needed to download their minds into human hosts" Elsie said. With this new knowledge, Mendel couldn't contain his joy.

"Yes! We win again!" He made to move the closest person there is, which unfortunately happened to be Monique. Mendel quickly released her as she gave him a look while he chuckled nervously before the ground shook. Cordula groaned "What now?" Randy turned to Mendel accusingly "Ya had ta jinx it, didn't you?" They waited as the stomping drew closer and stared in horror as Cyber-Zilla stared down at them.

"What is that thing?" Monique gasped, not knowing there was another Godzilla but its state...

Elsie let out a nervous chuckle "Eheh...just a little something me and the aliens worked up" Elsie answered "I'm not sure if I should take that 'little' word seriously or a sarcastic comment" Cordula said as she took a step back "Looks like Sopler and Hoffman still have some control" Nick stated as he looked at the monster's eyes.

"At least somebody's fighting on our side" Randy said as the bat swopped in to confront Cyber-Zilla. The bat let out a sonic blast directly towards Cyber-Zilla to no avails since it made the robot redirect the attack back to the bat, thereby knocking it out.

"Yippee" Elsie cheered flatly as everyone took a step back when the creature turned its attention to them "Anyone has anything to say?" Cordula asked when they were cornered on both sides by an alien ship and Cyber-Zilla. Before anyone could say anything, the waters of the sea suddenly parted and out came Godzilla. He roared to announce his presence.

"Alright! The cavalry's here!" Randy said as he fist pumped the air only for it to be brought down by Mendel "Quiet, he's not on our team anymore. He knows that thing is his daddy" Mendel said. Cyber-Zilla roared at Godzilla who tilted his head before he stared down at Nick and Cordula who stared back at him

"Big guy?" Cordula called out slowly as Cyber-Zilla roared again, impatient by Godzilla's hesitance "Its alright big guy, no pressure" Cordula said with her arms raised as she walked pass by Nick and towards Godzilla. Nick didn't move but he kept his eyes towards Godzilla who suddenly roared and prepared his powerful attack. "Godzilla!" Nick cried out for one last time. All these past few months, the science research became more of a routine now for Nick to the point he cared for Godzilla enough to risk his life for his and he knew Cordula felt the same.

Cordula crossed her arms and closed her eyes, not wanting the last memory of Godzilla to be of him burning her. The gang waited for the end but to their surprise, Godzilla aimed his powerful fire breath at the Alien Ship, clearly stating which side he was on. "Apparently we've been readopted" Nick said joyously as the gang cheered while Godzilla looked down on them and roared as if joining the cheer.

"Do not celebrate yet" Monique said as she pointed to the two Alien Ships appeared beside Cyber-Zilla. Godzilla roared as he charged at them straight on "Wait!" Cordula cried out but it was too late and watched in horror as Godzilla got a direct hit from the Alien Ship and fell down right beside Nick who cried out in alarm.

"Godzilla? Godzilla!" Nick cried as he raced close to Godzilla's snout with Cordula right behind him "Game over" Mendel said mournfully before he felt his sore ribs being jabbed at by Randy making him scream slightly in pain "Wake Up! We need you!" Nick said as he grabbed a piece of burning wood and began to swing directly below Godzilla's nose.

"Come on big guy" Cordula pleaded as she patted him in the mouth "You really gonna let those space monkeys beat you? You're the only one who could stop them from taking over your planet!" Nick said. There was no movement for a few moments before Godzilla moved and let out a low sound.

"That's it, that's it. Come on big fella" Nick whispered as Cordula took a step back. Godzilla stood in crouch position as he shook away all the dust and sand before roaring out loud towards Cyber-Zilla in a challenge to which the Cyborg also responded in kind "Oh yeah, I really wanna be in the middle of this" Elsie said sarcastically as she and the others moved to the side and let the two monsters battle it out.

Cyber-Zilla attacked first by releasing its cannons at Godzilla to which he escaped by digging a hole when one of the blasts landed right in front of him. Cyber-Zilla let out a roar as he marched and looked down at the hole only to be taken by surprise when Godzilla released his fire breath at Cyber-Zilla directly from the hole before climbing up.

The gang cheered him on as Godzilla continued to fire down on Cyber-Zilla. Before he could deliver a final blow, more alien ships arrived and began firing at Godzilla. A few missed and Cyber-Zilla took a direct aim to its metal arm. The gang ran as parts of it fell from where they were standing moments ago.

Godzilla suddenly found himself in a vulnerable position, he couldn't focus on more than one opponent especially when one of the opponents was his birth parent "They're roasting him!" Randy cried out "What can we do? We cannot battle spaceships from the ground" Monique said. "Then let's get off the ground" Nick said as his attention turned to the ship where the melted alien left it and didn't waste anytime to run towards it with the rest of the gang following him.

"Can you fly it?" Nick asked as they entered the ship. Mendel let out a sarcastic laugh "Yeah sure, give me a week and I just might find the CD player" Mendel said sarcastically before Elsie walked forward "I can fly it" She said before sitting down on the driver's seat "Monique if those things take control of me-" Elsie didn't want to finish that sentence, this would be the longest she would have to open the door to Alien Knowledge and the fact that they can easily enter on the other side didn't slip pass her.

"I will do whatever it is necessary" Monique said in reassurance "It won't come to that, will it?" Mendel asked as he and Randy shared a look "No it won't, we have faith in you Elsie" Cordula said as Elsie nodded and proceeded to fly straight into battle with Nick handling the controls for the guns.

They managed to sail pass the big one and destroy the smaller alien ships with Elsie's quick maneuvering and Nick's sharp shooting skills "Yeeha! Nice shootin' Tex!" Randy said jokingly. They flew pass by a satellite dish that protected by Hicks and two soldiers that released two missiles at them "Hicks and the soldiers are still being controlled?" Nick asked out loud in confusion and shock "Target that dish. It's boosting the alien's data waves, the key to their mind control" Elsie said. Nick grinned as Elsie turned the ship around, heading straight for the dish.

"One dish comin' down" Nick said and fired as soon as it was in range. Hicks and the others took cover and as the dish fell to the ground "That transmitter facilitated the alien's control of humans. Without it, the invasion is history" Elsie said joyously and Cordula sighed with relief "Finally!"

With the H.E.A.T team gaining the attention of the alien ships, it left Godzilla alone to fight Cyber-Zilla one on one for the final showdown. Cordula watched as Godzilla took Cyber-Zilla straight into the water and with water and electrical circuitry having a bad case of failed mixing, it didn't take long for Cyber-Zilla to sing out its last roar before going dark after it thrashly moved around like it had a seizure.

It was after that fight the team noticed the alien ships were heading up and straight to space "Hey, they're running away!" Mendel said in realization. Randy moved to a window and waved his hand out to the retreating aliens "Buh-bye" Randy said with a smug smirk before he noticed them moving upwards as well.

"Woah Chica" He said in surprise that matched Elsie's surprise as well "The controls are locked, I can't steer. We're heading for outer space!" Elsie cried out "Cool" Randy said before realizing what he just said "Oh wait, not cool. Very not cool" Cordula glared at him "And you had to say not cool?"

"Where are the escape pods?" Monique asked. Elsie stood up from her seat "This way, I think" She said unsurely. Mendel looked at Nick worriedly "She thinks?" He asked as soon as Elsie let out an enraged shout "Elsie? What's wrong?" " Nick asked worriedly "Blowing up the dish severed my link to the aliens. I can't remember anything" Elsie said in frustration.

Just before the team could fall into another pit of panic, Nick suddenly spoke up "Wait, when we used an escape pod to get out of the Leviathan, I pushed something that looked like-" Nick pressed a random button on the side and all of a sudden, they were suddenly encased in a familiar room and felt being shot out of the ship and back down to Earth.

They landed on the sandy shores right beside Godzilla who looked ready to roast them alive. Nick quickly ran out before Godzilla would pull through with the idea "It's okay, it's okay! It's just us" Nick said softly as Cordula followed behind him to walk out of the alien ship.

Cordula breathed in the fresh air, feeling her tense muscles relax and her sore body suddenly feeling the pains of today's adventure "When I get back home, I'm gonna have a full scale hot body wash..." Cordula sighed. Elsie looked up as the last remaining ships disappear into the sky "Hah...good riddance" Elsie said as she placed her hands on her hips.

"Indeed" A voice said and they all turned in shock to see the aliens with their guns raised at them "Good riddance to you all" Nick moved to cover Elsie and Cordula while Randy and Monique moved to tackle them when there was a blast behind the aliens, sending them to the ground.

"Piece of advise, take cover" Hicks said as he stared down at the aliens while the soldiers took care of destroying the last remaining building of the aliens. As soon as the hiding blew up, they watched as the aliens let out pained groans and holding their heads before the face of Hoffman was seen as the alien fell to the ground while Dr. Sopler was slouched to the ground.

"What's their story?" Hicks asked, not knowing of the Leviathan incident "We'll inform you later" Cordula whispered on his ear "Catatonic" Nick waved a flashlight over to Hoffman. "Looks like the aliens don't leave prisoners" Nick said "Where'd they go?" Hicks asked "I'm guessing the alien programming inside them just crashed" Nick said.

"Good now we can concentrate on reviving the poor guys" Elsie said with relief "So that's it? We beat'em?" Randy asked "Maybe or maybe this was just the first round" Nick said ominously "Well they better not be skulking around here during my watch" Hicks said with seriousness, he would allow himself again to become one of those aliens' lab toys.

"What about bat boy?" Mendel asked and their attention turned to the sleeping monster a few meters away "I've been monitoring the battles. There still a few more mutations out there, unconscious but alive. I'm gonna recommend the military round up the remaining creatures and adapt this island so as to contain them" Hicks said "You're talking about an island full of monsters" Cordula asked with a raised brow.

"Exactly and we could use someone to lead the study, interested?" He asked. Cordula shook her head "One mutant looking after me us enough for me and something tells me I would drop out of school immediately if I agree. I still want my life outside of work" Cordula said. Hicks turned to Nick who shook his head "Thanks but somebody has to watch for all the mutations that haven't surfaced yet" Nick said with his arms crossed.

"How 'bout you doctor?" Hicks asked Elsie who was crouched down in front of Sopler "I'll stick with H.E.A.T, assuming they still want me?" Elsie looked at Nick with a question look on her face "Assuming you don't tell anyone else about the alien technology" Nick said with a smirk.

Godzilla roared out loud from where he was "Really don't think that's an issue anymore" Elsie said as she stared at Godzilla who stood over the burning alien building which quickly disintegrated after a few more encouraging fire power from Godzilla.
