Chapter 4
Lori (With a raised brow): "And just where do you think you're going Lincoln?"
Lincoln (Turns to his sisters): "Going to my room to change my clothes. I'm still in my pajamas for crying out loud!"
That is true…
Luan: "How can you do that Linc? Your clothes are way too big for you now."
That is also true…
Lincoln (Slaps his face in annoyance): "Dang it! Now what I'm supposed to do?"
Lola (With a big smile): "Ooooh…I have an idea Linky! You can wear some of my doll's clothes."
Lincoln: "Ummm…" (Gives his little sister a nervous smile): "Thanks Lola, but…no thanks!"
Lola (Whispers): "We'll see about that…"
Lincoln: "What?"
Lola: "Nothing!"
Leni: "I got an idea!"
In a swift motion, Leni picks her brother up from the floor and makes her way upstairs and into her and Lori's bedroom. Once there she plops Lincoln down next to her sewing machine.
Leni (Taking out a tape measure): "Hold still Linky!"
After using the measuring tape to measure Lincoln's height and weight, Leni got right to work. In no time flat, er the young fashion designer has sewed up a tiny version of her brother's regular attire: A orange polo shirt, a pair of blue jeans, and gray socks.
Lincoln (With a big smile): "Leni…" (Picks up the shirt): "…these look like my regular clothes. Well…" (Turns the front of the shirt around to show there is a little red heart on the bottom): "Almost…"
Leni: "And the best part is I used little, tiny stitches. That way you won't get prick while you are doing things." (Frowns a little a bit): "But I'm so sorry Linky, I couldn't make you any shoes…not even sandals!"
Lincoln: "That's ok Leni, the outfit is perfect just the way it is." (Walks over and hugs his sister's hand): "Especially that you made it for me."
Leni (Smiles once again): "Awww…"
We then continue our story in the bedroom of Luna and Luan, where we see Luna is there playing her electric guitar and singing the lyrics to one of her brand-new songs. While her, "tiny brother", Lincoln is sitting on her dresser, listening.
Luna (Finishes up the song): "Thank you Loud House! Good night!"
Lincoln: "Um Luna? You know it's only twelve-o-clock in the afternoon, right?"
Luna: "Oh…Your right bro." (Wipe some sweat from her forehead): "So, what did you think of that little number?"
Lincoln: "It was pretty good."
Luna: "Sweet! Okay, this is the last song I wrote. And I worked really…and I mean hard on it. So… here goes nothing. A one! Two! Three! Four!"
With that, Luna started to play her guitar and sing again to the lyrics of her final song. It goes on for quite a while. Until…
Luna (Stops completely): "Huh?"
Lincoln: "What's wrong Luna?"
Luna: "The last page for my song… it's missing!"
Lincoln: "Uh-oh! That's not good."
Luna: "You're telling me dude." (Puts her guitar down and starts to look around): "Now where could it be?"
Lincoln (Gets up): "Don't worry Luna, I will help you look for it."
Luna: "Oh…um…That's okay bro, you don't have to. You just sit back and relax. I wouldn't want you getting lost."
Lincoln: "Getting lost?" (Rolls his eyes in annoyance): "Come on Luna, I not going to…"
Luna (On the other side of the room, looking through a pile of her musical instruments): "Where could it be? Is it here? No! Here…"
Lincoln: "Okay…" (Turns around and sees something sticking out from behind the dresser): "Hmm…"
He walks up to it and sees that it's a piece of paper stuck between the dresser and the wall.
Lincoln: "Could this be it?" (Turns around): "Hey Luna! I think I found it."
Luna (Looking through hers and Luan's closet): "Where is it!?"
Lincoln: "Sigh..." (Turns his attention back to the piece of paper): "Well, there is only one way to find out." (Takes hold and pulls it with all his might): "Grrgh!"
Eventually, Lincoln did manage to pull the paper out. But unfortunately, after doing so, he started to stumble around, lost his balance, drops the piece of paper, and falls off the edge of the dresser.
Lincoln: "Ahhh!"
Luckily for him, he was rescued by his rock star sister, who saw the boy falling just in the nick of time to jump and catch him with her hands before he could hit the carpeted floor.
Lincoln and Luna (Both relieved): "Whew!"
Luna (Stands up): "Are you okay Lincoln?"
Lincoln: "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks to you Luna."
Luna: "You got to be more careful bro. A fall like that could seriously hurt a little dude, like you."
Lincoln: "But Luna, I…"
Luna: "Not buts linc!"
Lincoln: "Sigh. All right Sis… I promise to be more careful from now on."
Luna: "I sure hope so." (Notices the piece of paper on the dresser): "Hey, is this…" (Picks it up, looks at it, and smiles): "It is! It's the last page for my song! I guess it was here on the dresser this whole time."
Lincoln: "Acutely Luna, I found it stuck between…"
Luna: "Now I can finish playing my song!"
Without saying another word, Luna puts her brother back down on the dresser and runs to her guitar and music stand.
Lincoln: "Umm…Luna?"
Luna: "Get ready bro. Because we're taking it from the top. A one! Two! Three! Four!"
Pretty soon it's Lynn's turn to watch over her brother. But since he is now the size of a mini action figure, Lynn can't rough house, wrestle, or play any of the sports that she usually likes to play with her brother. So, she has to do the next best thing: Play games that are more of Lincoln's style. Which are video games. As we cut to the living room, where we see both siblings sitting on the couch, playing against each other at a race car game that is being displayed on the TV.
Lynn (Breaking a sweat): "Ha! You're going down Stinken!"
Lincoln (Struggling to hold on and use the gigantic game controller): "Wait …I think I can…ingh… I'm sure…"
Lynn (Wins the race and does a victory pose): "Yes! I win again! Eight races in a row baby!" (Turns to her brother): "In your face Stink…"
Lincoln (Drops the controller and puts his head down): "Sigh!"
Lynn (Starts to feel bad): "Hey now, don't beat yourself up bro. It's only a game remember?" (Picks up Lincoln's controller and tries to hand it back to him): "Here, let's play again. I'm sure you'll win…"
Lincoln (Picks up his head): "I'm not upset because you keep beating me, Lynn. I'm upset about …" (Points to the game controller): "…this."
Lynn (Starts to understand): "Oh…My bad."
About another hour later, it's Luan's turn to watch over her brother. And she decided to try her new comedy routine on him. But her seating arrangements for the little guy were not one of her best ideas.
Mr. Coconuts (Having Lincoln sit on his lap): "Hey look! I'm a dummy with a dummy! Ha ha!"
Lincoln (Very annoyed): "Augh!"
Luan (Operating the puppet): "Bad taste?"
Lincoln: "…"
Soon it was nighttime, and all the members of the Loud family were in the dining room, sitting around the table, munching away on Lynn Sr.'s homemade lasagna that he made for dinner. While eating, everybody is talking to one another and having a good time. Well, everybody except for Lincoln…
Lincoln (Can't even reach his food as he sits on a chair that is way too big for him): "Ah…guys? A little help here?!"
Leni (Hears her brother's plead): "Oh..." (Picks the boy up and sets him down on top of the table): "Sorry Linky. I guess you're too little to sit in a big chair."
Lucy (Points to Lincoln's plate): "And there is no way you can eat all that lasagna in one sitting. You could get a tummy ache and throw up."
Lynn Sr.: "Now kids, don't worry about it. Because your dad, Chef Loud has an idea." (Picks up a fork and knife, takes the plate of lasagna, and starts to cut it): "See? I'll just cut a very tiny piece of lasagna from this big one."
Lori: "Great idea Dad. But where's Lincoln going to sit?"
Lynn Jr. (Points to an empty place): "And has anybody seen Lola?"
Lana (Looks around the room): "Gee, I don't know. She was just here sitting next to me a minute ago."
Lola (Runs down the stairs, while holding something in her hands): "I'm coming!"
Long story short, Lincoln is now sitting on a little toy doll chair at a doll house table, eating his food on a toy plate, while also using tiny doll silverware.
Rita: "So honey, how's your dinner?"
Lincoln: "Pretty good Mom. It's tiny, but it still tastes the same as if I was my normal size."
Lynn Sr. (Relieved): "Glad to hear it son."
Lola (Starts to talk in baby-talk): "Aww! Look at my widdle Linky eating at his tiny widdle table."
Lincoln (Annoyed by this): "Okay Lola, I'm trying to eat here."
After dinner was over and all the night activities have been done, it was now time for everybody to go to bed. As we cut to the upper level of the Loud House, where we see Lincoln in his pajamas walking towards his bedroom.
Lincoln (Stretch out his arms): "Yawn! Man, after the day I just had. I could use a good night's sleep."
But unfortunately, a gigantic hand comes out of nowhere and grabs Lincoln, bringing him up to the face of its owner, which to his surprise was Rita along with Lynn Sr., who was standing next to her.
Lincoln (Very confused): "Mom? Dad?"
Rita: "Sorry sweetie, but I'm afraid we can't let you sleep in your room, while you're stuck at this size."
Lincoln: "What?! Why?!"
Lynn Sr.: "Because sport, your mother and I are worried you might fall off the bed and hurt yourself if you turn in your sleep and go off the edge."
Rita: "And we're also worried you might suffocate if you sink into the covers and mattress of your bed."
Lincoln: "But where I am going to sleep then?"
But he didn't get an answer as his parents turn around and head towards the bedroom of their oldest daughters. Once they got there, Rita knocks on the door…
Lori (Opens the door with Leni right behind her): "Hi Mom and Dad. Is Lincoln ready for bed yet?"
Rita: "He sure is." (Kisses her son): "Night Lincoln."
Lynn Sr.: "Sweet dreams Link."
Leni (Takes a hold of her brother and runs into the room): "Yay! A sleepover!"
Lori (Gives a smile to her parent): "We'll take good care of him."
Rita (Returns the smile): "We know you will Lori." (Starts to walk towards the stairs): "Yawn! Well, good night."
Lynn Sr. (Follows): "Sleep, tight kids."
Lori: "Night Mom! Night Dad!"
Leni (Calls from the room): "Good night!"
With that, Lori closes the door and walks toward her two siblings.
Lincoln (Realizes something): "Wait a minute, if Mom and Dad are so worried about me sleeping in my bed, how I am supposed to sleep in one of yours?"
Leni: "Simple Lincoln…"
Lori (Points to her and Leni's nightstand): "Take a look."
As Lincoln turns his head, where he now sees that there is a tiny toy doll bed on the already mention nightstand.
Lincoln: "Where did that come from?"
Lori: "Take a guess…"
Lincoln (Shakes his head): "Ah yes, Lola. I should have known."
Without any warning, Lori takes her brother from Leni and puts him in bed. She then covers Lincoln with the blanket and starts to tuck him in.
Lincoln: "Umm…Lori? You don't have to…"
Lori: "I have to say, Leni, this literally brings me back so many memories of when we were little kids."
Leni: "I know right. It totally feels like Lincoln is a baby again and were just tucking him in for, like, the very first time." (Gets an idea): "Say Linky, you'd want me to read you a bedtime story to help you fall asleep?"
Lincoln: "A bedtime story? Leni, I am eleven years old, I don't need you to…"
Lori: "That's a great idea, Leni."
Leni (Squeals in excitement): "Eeee!" (Runs off): "I'll go get a storybook."
Not before long, we see the two oldest sisters now in their beds with Leni holding a book in her hands, opened up to the first page.
Leni (Starts to read): "Okay… Once an upon a time…"
Lincoln: "Sigh…"
