"What do you mean Akito took her?" asked Yuki. Momiji sniffled. "We were about to go swimming and Akito appeared. We asked if she wanted to join us and the next thing we knew she grabbed Tohru."
Earlier from Tohru's and the other's view
Momiji and Kisa held the hands of Tohru as they made it to the beach. "What are we going to do first?" asked Tohru. Shigure smiled. "Why don't we spend some time on the beach and then we will go dolphin watching." All the kids agreed.
"Maybe by then Yuki and Kyo will be here." said Shigure. A blade went through Tohru's heart at the mention of his name. She tried her best to keep it to herself. She didn't want to ruin the day for the others.
"Tohru? Are you okay?" asked Kisa. Tohru snapped out of it and nodded with a smile. "Yeah, I'm just fine. Let's go swim." She went to take a step and there stood Akito. Everyone stopped in their tracks. Momiji hid a bit behind Tohru. Akito smiled and cocked her head to the side.
"What's wrong? Are you not happy to see me?" she asked with a cruel smile. Shigure walked up closer to Tohru and Momiji. "We are just surprised that you are here, Akito. Especially after last night. You must be exhausted." As he talked he walked more in front of Tohru.
"We didn't expect to see you here, were you going to join us today? We would like that," said Kisa, hiding behind Haru. Haru had his arm around Kisa, pushing her behind him.
Shigure didn't want the others to know but he was worried for Tohru's safety. Akito smiled. "Yes, last night was a bit out of control. I came here to talk to Tohru." She said, looking around Shigure. Fear coursed through Momiji as he watched Tohru walk closer to Akito.
Tohru bowed her head. "I wanted to apologize for last night. I was disrespectful and I wanted to say that I am sorry." Akito smiled and she walked closer to Akito. She put her hand on Tohru's head.
"I won't forgive you." she whispered. Tohru opened her eyes and Akito grabbed her by the hair and she fell to her knees. She dragged Tohru to her. "Akito, stop!" yelled Shigure as he and Hatori came at them. She took a blade out and slashed at Shigure, slicing up his arm.
He grunted in pain and he backed away. Hatori walked to Akito, his hands up. "Akito, you are not well. Why don't we take you home? This heat isn't good for you." he said, walking toward them closer. She aimed her blade at Hatori.
"Want to lose all of the vision in your eye?" she asked with a cruel smile. "NO!" yelled Tohru, standing up. She put her arms out. "If you want me then take me. But don't hurt them. Leave them alone!" she begged.
Akito looked over at Tohru. "Fine." She grabs Tohru by the arm and twists it, bringing her to her. Tohru flinches. "Akito, let her go!" yelled Momiji, tears trailing down his eyes. "No, this girl is a nuisance and I am going to get rid of her."
Hatori looked at Kureno. "Are you going to let her take this girl? Is your loyalty to Akito that strong?" he asked, venom in his voice. "It's okay," said Tohru in a small voice. Hatori looked at her. She looked at him, fear evident in her eyes. "If me going keeps you all safe, then I will go." she said with a sad smile.
Hatori put his hand on Kureno's shoulder. Kureno turned around and he shoved Hatori hard to the ground. He looked at the Somas. "You should do what Akito tells you to do and not go against her. Be good animals." Hatori sat up, grabbing his shoulder.
They turned and dragged Tohru with them. "Tohru!" yelled Momiji as he ran after them. Akito threw Tohru at Kureno and she came at Momiji with the knife, a crazed look in her eyes.
"You are loyal to me! To me and me alone!" she yelled, swinging her arm at Momiji. He flinches and looks up a moment later to Hatori standing in front of him, blood coming from his collarbone. Hatori dropped to one knee.
"Akito. You have the girl. Let's go." said Kureno. Akito snapped out of it. She walked back over to Kureno and they walked away. She stopped and looked at the Zodiac. "Warning. If any of you come looking for her, it won't be good for her." Momiji and Kisa flinched.
She smiled. "Especially if the cat comes," she said under her breath. They turned away and walked away.
Present
Fear and anger coursed through Kyo as he heard what had happened to her. 'That idiot. Why would she go with her willingly!?'
"Shigure, what do we do?" asked Yuki. Shigure sat up and looked at them. "I don't know. I don't know how to get her back. I don't really know what she's going to do to Tohru." Kyo shot up. "We have to get her back!" he yelled in anger.
Yuki looked at him. "How do you propose we get there? You heard what they said. If any of us go to the main estate, then we risk her safety." Kyo looked at the ground, clenching his fist at his side.
"I don't even think that I can get through to her." said Shigure, sadly. Hatori looked at them. "Whatever we have to do, we will get her back. She is innocent in this." They all nodded. Yuki looked at Kyo. He could tell that he was going to lose it soon.
Yuki looked at Shigure and the others. "Why don't you head back to the house? The cat and I will be back soon." Shigure nodded. The others headed back to the house. Yuki looked at Kyo. "I know where your head is you stupid cat. And this is not your fault."
Kyo looked at him. "You are wrong. I may not have given her to Akito. But if I were here then she wouldn't be with Akito right now." Yuki shook his head. "No, you would have been killed trying to protect her."
Kyo looked at him. "What the hell does it matter? Akito has her and who knows what she's doing to her right now." Yuki sighed. "We will figure it out and we will rescue Ms. Honda." Kyo sighed and nodded. He looked at the sky. 'Tohru. Please be alright.'
Tohru opened her eyes and looked around. She was in a dark room. There was a slight light in the room. Her hands were bound. She looked around. "Hello?" she called. Nothing. Stillness. Silence.
"Hello?" she called again. The door opened and there stood Akito. "Oh, the wretch is awake." she said, shutting the door behind her. Tohru sat up and tried to scoot from her. Akito walked back over to her and grabbed Tohru's chin and brought her face to hers.
"You really are a disgusting and ugly girl, Tohru Honda." Tohru looked at her in shock. "You are the one that is standing in the way of my precious Zodiac and me." Tohru sighed and looked down.
"I meant no disrespect, Akito. I just want them to be happy." Akito slapped her across the face and she hit the ground hard. "You know nothing of the Zodiac's happiness or what they want. Only I do!" she screamed.
Tohru struggled to sit back up. "I do know that they don't want to be with you forever. They deserve to do what they want to do. Do what makes them happy." Akito slapped her again. She again hit the ground.
She sat up again. "You know nothing!" she screamed as she kept hitting and slapping Tohru. She constantly was hitting the ground. Tohru moved in pain. She picked her head up and looked at Akito.
"Is it because you are scared?" Akito gasped and looked at her. "Is it because you are scared of being alone?" another slap. "My bonds ensure that I will never be alone! Not that it's any of your business."
Tohru picked her head back up. "Akito, I don't want to take the zodiac from you. I just want them to be happy and free. Free to do what they want. And you also deserve to be happy. But not at the expense of them." Akito started to choke Tohru.
"You think that you understand me!? That you understand the bonds and the love that me and the zodiac share and feel!? Who are you to say that I don't deserve to be with my Zodiac? Who are you to say that the zodiac doesn't want to be with me forever!? Who are you to say that!?" she screamed as she squeezed tighter.
Tohru gasped for breath and she struggled to get Akito's hands off. "Akito, enough!" yelled Kureno, grabbing Akito around the waist, her hands releasing Tohru. Tohru choked and coughed, trying to breathe again.
Akito thrashed in Kureno's arms. "Let me go! She has no right to do any of this! NONE!" she yelled. Kureno turned Akito and embraced her, trying to calm her. "Shhh, Akito. It's alright. Calm down." he said gently. Akito stopped thrusting and she cried in Kureno's embrace. Kureno opened his eyes and looked over at the battered girl.
Tohru barely opened her eyes. She looked at Kureno. 'I won't stop fighting for the zodiac. They all deserve to be happy and free. Yuki is starting to let people in and he's starting to enjoy life. And Kyo….Kyo is finally starting to smile. I will fight for the zodiac until I don't breathe anymore. I will fight.' She closed her eyes and her head went to the side.
