And so, with that dealt with, Welcome back! Hope you all enjoy! And if you think there's a plot hole this early on... I haven't even played half my aces yet. Get yourselves ready!

Guardian's Academia

Chapter Seven: Determination and Victory

All the students had been asked to wait in groups according to the battle centre they were headed to, this left Chikara alone with nobody to talk to. She saw a bus heading off with Mori looking out the window and waving, the Purple haired girl waved back to him. Then she turned and walked onto her own bus and sat down in the first row, the other students slowly got on while Chikara tried to clear her head of worry. Negative emotions like fear and anxiety made the repercussions of her quirk factor far worse, she needed either a positive or neutral emotional state while using her quirk or she would end up with a migraine far quicker than normal. As she was calming her thoughts she felt something brush against her arm, opening her eyes Chikara looked and saw another purple haired girl sitting beside her, her earlobes were extremely long and had headphone jacks on the ends. One of her lobes was connected to her phone while the other was just hanging from her ear. "You're staring" the girl suddenly said looking back at Chikara and jolting her from her thoughts. "Or at least I assume that's what you are doing, can't really tell where you are looking with eyes like those" Chikara blinked "Uhh, I... I'm sorry, I was staring at your ears. I guess that was kinda rude of me" She looked down in shame as she finished. "It's fine, at least you can admit it. Most people try to deny it, that's what annoys me most. I'm Kyoka Jiro by the way" she said, extending a hand toward the obsidian eyed girl. "Chikara Hadou, nice to meet you Jiro"

The pair talked quietly on the way to the testing grounds and stuck close as they got off the bus, once the test started they would split but for now they were both thankful for someone to talk to. After a few minutes of getting ready the gates opened and Chikara tapped her fist to Jiro's shoulder and made a run for the gates. Only one other person reacted quick enough to get in before she did but that just meant he got the first kill. A large group of one pointers noticed the first combatants and turned to fire on them, Chikara rushed at one of the bots and jumped as it fired at her. 'Time to see if this works' the girl thought as she thrust her hand forwards, a small wisp of obsidian energy flying from her hand towards where she would be landing. The energy formed a small barrier in mid air and Chikara stepped on it and jumped to the side mid-air. 'Thanks for the idea Mori' she thought as she landed and made a run for the bot once more, throwing both hands forward she conjured a pair of barriers on the barrels of the one pointer's weapons. When the bot fired one of the guns jammed up and detonated while the other barrier broke, Chikara winced as a small spike of pain shot through her head. The purple haired girl closed the distance and gathered energy around the palm of her hand, reaching the bot she slammed the palm of her hand into the machine's chest and released her hold on the energy bubble. The one point bot launched and flew into a wall shattering the bricks and destroying the bot, Chikara wrapped some energy around a whole brick and a pile of tiny stones that were lying on the ground and levitated them around her.

With weapons acquired the obsidian eyed girl turned to the main group and saw others pushing each other to get to the bots first, she took the distraction as an opportunity to send the rocks flying into the bots tearing another two one pointers apart. Chikara turned and ran down an alleyway to get to another part of the outback town they had been dropped into. Upon exiting the alleyway she found herself in a large open park with a playground in the middle, bots were all around her and locked onto her quickly. The first to rush her was a two pointer, it looked much like a scorpion and raised its tail to strike just like one. Compared to sparing against her friends or, All Might help her, Mr Aizawa. Chikara shivered at that thought. Dodging these things was a walk in the park, side stepping the tail she gathered an energy bubble in her palm and hit the thing on the face plate with the energy blast. The bot skidded backwards and smoke started leaking from the joints and the purplette perked up taking note of the possible weakness. Deciding to try again she readied some more energy, already feeling the drain on her stamina reserves taking effect. She shaped the energy around her arm like a gauntlet and rushed the bot once more, the tail whipped around and came at her from the side. Chikara dove forward into a roll and came back up after the tail had passed with her fist reared back for a punch, she threw her fist forward with all her might and bonked the robot on the nose while releasing some energy forwards in focused strike. The face folded inwards and the bot froze up before dropping to the ground. Chikara grinned and looked up to see another pair of the scorpions, a group of one pointers and a tank like robot all focusing in on her. Just as she readied herself to take out the one pointers the wall of the diner they were standing beside exploded outwards and a guy made of metal flew out and landed a haymaker on one of the bots. A guy with dragon wings and talons dropped out of the sky and drove his claws through a two point robot before launching the remains at the three pointer, a whip of water tore through the other two pointer's armour and took two of the legs off. Chikara decided that now was a good time to move on and made a run down the street. Using bricks, concrete from the ground and sometimes other robots as weapons Chikara tore through any robots that opposed her.

Nearing the end of the allotted time frame for the exam Chikara felt the ground start shaking and looked down the main road in the centre to see a massive robot that towered over the town. It dwarfed all the buildings and seemingly just to prove how powerful it was, it swept away an entire block of buildings before it began its advance toward the entrance gate. Chikara could hear the panicked yelling and decided against her better judgement to go towards the danger. As she neared she could see a pair of students trying to get out of the Zero pointers path, the massive bot was catching them quickly and raised its hand high to slam down on top of them. Chikara threw her hands forward with both open and a much stronger stream of energy flew from her hands towards the pair. As soon as her energy reached them she closed her hands and the obsidian energy wrapped around both of the boys. She drew her hands backwards with force and both of the guys were lifted off their feet and thrown towards her, screaming the whole way. She opened her palms and grimaced as she slowed their decent, once they were on the ground she reformed the energy into a barrier that parted the dust storm the Zero pointer kicked up with its strike. Then as soon as the wind stopped she dropped her barrier and ran for the hand that was resting on the ground. "Get out of here, I'll handle that!" she yelled over her shoulder as she ran.

'They won't let this thing kill me, right?' Chikara thought as she leapt onto the closest finger and looked for a way to disable it. All she could see was indents that looked like a kind of maintenance ladder leading up the arm "So what's the plan Hadou?" the voice of Jiro came from behind the obsidian eyed girl. Spinning around to face the other purple haired girl she grinned before proclaiming "We kill it, Duh" then spun around and started scaling the ladder, Jiro rushed to follow as the arm started to lift off the ground again. Once she got to the top of the ladder Chikara climbed onto the walkway placed on top of the armour on the forearm. They had a perfect catwalk around the elbow joint, Chikara held onto whatever she could grab as she made her way around to the back of the joint, but a bump from the machine moving made her lose her footing and she was left hanging by a guard rail. "You okay?" Jiro yelled as she reached down and grabbed Chikara's hand and begun to pull. Once she was up Chikara thanked the other girl and they started moving around to the other side of the joint. Once they got there they found a bunch of pipes leading from the upper arm to the joint and a number of levers placed where they connected. The two girls looked at each other before shrugging, Chikara grabbed the lever beside a blue pipe and pulled it into the 'Closed' position.

The effect was instantaneous, the entire arm lost power and dropped to the ground. Both of the girls grabbed onto the pipes and held on for dear life as the ground tilted beneath them, the robot stopped and seemingly went dead. Both girls were left hanging with no way to get down, Chikara grinned slyly at the other girl "Hey, do you... you know... hang out here often?" Jiro's head whipped around to glare at her "Don't you dare make a joke like that around me ever again, understood?" Chikara couldn't help herself "Damn, looks like my joke fell flat" Jiro deadpanned at her "I hate you"

Battle Centre C

Kanohi arrived and hopped off the bus, she was pointedly ignoring the blonde land mine that was giving her death glares. That guy had one hell of a problem, he sort of reminded her of one of her uncles back home who had the same reaction around her own father. But that didn't matter right now, the exam was ahead of her and she needed to give it a hundred percent of her focus.

After just a couple minutes of stretching the doors made a loud thumping sounds and started opening, Kanohi popped her earbuds in and raced forwards as she heard Present Mic yelling "BEGIN!" not bothering to hear the rest of whatever he was yelling the silver haired girl ran towards the group of one pointers and activated her quirk. The one pointers started firing at her and she didn't bother blocking any of the shots, the rubber bullets bounced off the bone plating that had formed over half of her body. Any shots that hit unarmoured spots were surely going to ache later, but for now Kanohi couldn't feel pain. The tattoos covering her body started to glow with a sky blue and water-like energy poured out of them, Kanohi waved her right arm out and the energy curved around and swept away the three bots sending them flying into a wall. The explosive Pomeranian had launched way ahead and had already torn apart the next grouping of bots, he turned back and grinned at the silver haired girl before blasting off again.

Watching the boy disappear in one direction Kanohi took off towards the other, her plan being to run around the edges and sweep out the bots there before she made her way towards the centre. Racing down an alleyway the bone armoured girl charged headfirst into another one pointer as she exited the narrow gap. She shoulder charged it off it's wheel and stomped down onto it crushing it's head, then she raised a swirling disc of energy to her left blocking a 2 pointer's tail. Kanohi then let the energy disperse and grabbed onto the tail using it as a launch pad to get her back to the bot it belonged to. She came crashing down on it and coated her fist with energy before punching, the added power managing to crack the armour. Shrugging to herself Kanohi just kept wailing away on the bot, each punch cracking and bending the metal more and more until the bot finally fell over.

The silver haired girl heard a loud sound to her right and threw up a bubble of energy just in time to block a barrage of concussive rockets from a three pointer. Most of the bubble was vaporised by the attack, the remainder of the energy Kanohi drew to her arm and condensed it into a swirling buckler. Then she charged the rest of the bots that were in front of her.

Kanohi had been running around punching holes through any bots that came her way and saving the occasional competitor from a nasty hit. All in all she was having the time of her life, letting loose and not having to hide her quirk like she did back home. Breathing hard Kanohi came to a halt in the centre of the main street, there were many destroyed bots lying around with other competitors standing over them. The silver haired girl noticed a boy with pure white hair walking casually past people, always keeping them between him and the sun. The boy locked eyes with her and noticed he'd been spotted, he narrowed his eyes at her before they shot wide again as the ground started to shake violently. Both of them looked down the street as a MASSIVE robot appeared from the ground, the giant green hulking mass of metal stared down at the examinees and raised it's right hand to crush them.

Many of the competing students turned and ran, some fell down and couldn't move and others just ran off ignoring the massive threat. Kanohi saw a girl sitting on the ground staring up at the hand descending towards her and rushed forwards "Damnit!" she yelled as all the energy she could muster swirled around her arms and as slid to a halt before the girl she threw her arms upwards and apart. Kanohi's liquid energy swirled and expanded, speeding up until it became a spinning dome surrounding the pair. 'I really hope this works' she thought to herself as she braced for impact. The Zero-pointer's hand made contact with the dome and Kanohi felt her control wavering, the energy barrier held but a large portion of her reserves had been blasted away with the strike. Once the Zero-pointer removed it's arm Kanohi released the energy and grabbed the girl, making a run for it the two of them tore down an alleyway and out the other side.

They stopped across the street and turned to see the robot wasn't quite done yet. It had torn through the building after them and was now levelling a punch at them. Kanohi stood shakily. "Hey you, when I catch this thing. Run. I can Hold it off" she turned and grinned at the girl who nodded slowly. The silver haired girl turned back to the fist and raised all her remaining energy and formed a flat barrier to block the strike, she compressed the energy to make it durable and hoped with everything that it would hold. On impact the barrier shuddered and started to bend under the weight, cracks forming as the giant fist kept pushing. "DON'T GIVE UP!" Yelled a male voice and seconds later a guy with fairly long black hair slammed into the fist, his arms and legs looked like they were made of rock and his feet dug a trail in the concrete. Against all odds, the fist stopped moving. The pair of them struggled against it for what felt like an eternity, not willing to budge an inch.

Suddenly an alarm blared out and the two of them nearly fell over as the pressure released and the Zero-pointer lost power. The pair of them looked at each other and grinned, the black haired boy deactivated his quirk and held his hand out to Kanohi. "I'm Ejiro Kirishima, whats your name?" the silver haired girl took his hand as she tried to stand, nearly toppling over immediately had the boy not grabbed her arm with his other hand to steady her. "Thanks, Its Kanohi" she replied as she shook his hand. "You gonna deactivate your quirk?" Kirishima asked her as he let her go and started walking toward the entrance. "When I've got somewhere to sit and some pain medication in me, I know from past experience that this amount of damage is gonna hurt like a bitch when I release my quirk" the black haired boy grimaced and looked at her sideways "That sounds like a pretty severe drawback, you sure you don't want to go to recovery girl to get patched up instead?" "I'm going to get that done anyway, however. It won't stop the recoil, Don't worry I knew the risks before I decided to throw myself out there. I'm ready for it" Kirishima just laughed nervously.

Kanohi got back to campus and explained the situation to Recovery Girl who gave her some pain medication and told her to sit at her desk when she released her quirk. The silver haired girl did as she was told and after nearly blacking out from the pain she was given a check up and sent on her way. She met up with Chikara and the two of them went out to get some snacks and drinks while they waited for the infirmary to empty out a bit so they could check up on Izuku and Morimitsu.

Kanohi threw the door open when they arrived back at the infirmary "Finally you wake up, you were out long enough for us to go shopping for tonight's celebration!" Chikara called as she spotted Izuku "Yea try not to do this often broccoli" Kanohi added as she walked over to the feline guardian and pat him on the head "Its bad enough having one self sacrificing dumbass on the team" Mori stirred under her hand and Kanohi looked at him before she sat down beside him and snapped a few photos to save to their group chat. "So... how you feeling now that you've finally broken out your quirk? The backlash looks insane" Chikara said as she poked at Izuku's bandaged arm. The boy yelped and pulled his arm away from her "It hurt allot, and I've got no control whatsoever" Izuku said, he looked down deep in thought. "Then try lowering the amount of power you use, that man would never suggest that to you because he's never had to bother" Aizawa said as he walked in the door and closed it behind him. "Think of it like a car Midoriya, the more you push the pedal the more power you get out of it and the harder it is to control" Izuku looked like he had discovered the answer to the universe and immediately tried to activate his quirk, Aizawa's hair was already floating in the air as he glared at the boy "I knew you would do that, no using your quirk until you are fully healed" he closed his eyes and his hair fell again. "So. Does anyone have questions for me? Ask now or don't ask at all"

The three teens who were awake looked between each other and at the exact same time all asked the same question. "How do you seem to know everything about us?" they chorused at once. Solasi materialised beside Morimitsu's head and asked "And why does everyone trust you without question?" Aizawa looked between them and sighed. "Listen up and listen close, I can't tell you everything but what a can tell you is this. This is my fifth attempt at stopping our world's collapse into darkness" he stopped and looked at the teens one by one. "I have the ability to use something called 'Darkness' and it has merged with my quirk 'Erasure' to form a power called 'Paraversal Erasure', everyone still following?" they all nodded with varying looks of confusion on their faces. "Basically I am able to erase anything that is not physical, that means anything from memories to emotions. And even Time. I have erased the timeline four times in total, each time humanity has gotten closer and closer to stopping the darkness as I guide us to defeating... That" Aizawa looked at Solasi and she nodded slowly "The Witness" she whispered in disbelief. "The reason you all trust me is because so far I have been erasing your suspicion of me, I have been training you all because you three are the best chance humanity has at defeating the darkness. As for Morimitsu, he's an anomaly. He wasn't supposed to be resurrected for the next nine years. However he is one of the best guardians I ever saw, thus I have taken him under my wing to help him grow as strong as I can before the darkness even gets here"

The room was silent for the next few minutes, after a while Kanohi spoke up. "So you know what will happen in the future?" Aizawa nodded "Can you tell us what happens?" the tired man closed his eyes and sighed "No, you all need to experience those events to grow as much as possible. If I were to warn even one person of the details of what is going to happen then the timeline will change drastically. I can only tell you what I have because it gives no detail and thus you don't know when events will happen"

"So... Morimitsu is possibly our best chance to survive?" Chikara asked looking at the boy. "No" Aizawa replied firmly. "You all are"
