Tsuga looked at the panel just above her altimeter. There was a picture of her and her wife on their wedding day. That was almost 11 years prior. Now as she turned on the VPS system on her desert viper gundam she looked lower to her altimeter. Sure the VPS would allow her to re-enter without worry about the heat or damage to her machine, but she couldn't shake the use of her anti-beam cloak which allowed her to re-enter with minimal power use. Not that she used batteries in her gundam anyways.
Designed way back originally during the original bloody valentine conflict, the desert viper was zaft's original test bed for their own variant of phase shift armor, before variable phase shift was even a thing. After capturing both the GAT series prototypes and after capturing an unidentified mobile suit that came out of a black hole and was promptly beaten beyond recognition by the woman who was now her wife, the desert viper just kinda…sprang into existence. Designed around the reactor that powered the unidentifiable mobile suit, it had limitless power. Now why zaft didn't strap all manner of prototype beam weapons or other things on it no one knew.
Instead it was designed with tanking as much damage as possible in mind and then dishing out that same damage two fold. And in came tsuga akira. A zaft red little was known about her, and she claimed amnesia about her own past given she didn't remember it. But the two were paired and sent off after the mobile suit known as the demon king.
So with that little bit of history and backstory out of the way let us return to our actual tale..
Tsuga grit her teeth as she landed the desert viper in its designated spot near her home. She may not have even opened her gundam but she could already hear the fact her children were crying out that daddy was home. As she opened a garage which housed a pair of mobile suit bays. In one was a unique mobile suit that we shall visit another time, but as she parked her gundam in its bay and got out, taking the elevator down to the floor she was surprised to not see her kids running out to greet her. Looking around she started to seek her pregnant wife and her kids.
Looking in the garden she found nothing but a nice fresh tomato which she grabbed one and took a bite out of it. Looking around the outside of the house she found some evidence of the kids having been out playing but otherwise she found nothing. Smiling, she knew what this meant. Her wife likely had gotten worn out and it was story time. Looking at her watch she nodded. Yep it was rest on the couch and likely story time. Walking into the house quietly she made sure no one heard her till she heard what story was being told. It was the story of how she and her wife met. Oh how wonderful. Depending on who told it it went different ways in certain areas of the story.
To this point she heard one of the children call out, "that's not how dad tells it!" so she walked up behind her wife on the couch and leaned over. "How about I tell the story for a little bit. You must be worn out being so heroic and brave."she said as she leaned in and kissed lily's forehead before she stood back up and walked around.
The twins shifted on the couch so that tsuga could sit next to lily and wrap her arm around her before they snuggled up as a family. The couple shared a quick kiss before they settled in to continue the story.

Tsuga sat patiently in her cockpit. She was ready for this. She was a top zaft academy ACE. destined to be a white coat some had said. But as she watched the battle raging outside her ship…she felt helpless. She was in a small freighter that had snuck its way onto the battlefield. A disguise meant to give her a chance to catch her prey by surprise. However she tapped her arm as she felt the ship container rumble from within her cockpit. That didn't help she couldn't launch properly! Her freighter's cockpit had already been hit by a stray missile and so no one was around to unlock her container. So when her prey entered the battlefield tsuga was forced to stay and watch as it trashed her kinsmen.
The blue haired coordinator growled as she saw the battle dwindling, the legged ship and her quarry were now making their way into the atmosphere. She was prepared for this as she had an anti-beam cloak attached to her suit that would allow her to re-enter the earth's atmosphere on her own if need be. Finally having had enough waiting for some higher up to contact her and give her a green light she used her controls to grab her heat shotels. Banging them together in a sharpening motion similar to how quatre did in endless waltz she heated them up and sliced through her container's doors. With a light kick the doors fell away and drifted off into space.
"Let's see just how strong you are…demon king." she said, having heard the name over open comms during the fight. Boosting away, she began to follow the demon king through the atmosphere, staying just far enough behind that she wouldn't show up on radar. As she worked her way through the heat of atmospheric re-entry she activated her unit's special armor system. A sub derivative of PS armor based on the stolen prototype data it was simply being called "G-armor" as while it worked similarly to phase shift, the underlying armor was much lighter yet stronger even without power flowing through it. If anything the PS aspect of the armor was nothing more than reactive plating that mitigated early damage in a fight.
This allowed her cockpit to cool down some but she still felt the heat as she fell through the atmosphere. She had killed her thrusters long ago, letting gravity and maneuvering thrusters do the work of pushing her through the upper atmosphere. This also slowed her descent some but she made sure to keep the demon king in visual range, letting off bursts of thrust to pass through clouds.
Eventually though she lost the demon king and decided it had ended up falling faster than her. Once through the heated portion of re-entry and able to relax some she activated her machines one time use parachute pack it had on it again for just such an occasion she was dragged down to earth. The chute slowed her descent and she began to plan how she intended to engage the demon king…again expecting to land in the icy tundra of alaska.
A couple hours passed as she let the parachute do its job and carry her down, not wanting to strain her machine's knees too much on landing. She was also keeping an eye open for the demon king. When she finally spotted it just standing there she noticed it was night where they were landing. So as the demon king just stood there she decided to act.
chuckling, tsuga detached her parachute and her spent anti-beam cloak and boosted towards the gundam. As she did so she crashed into the ground near it, causing it to jump back.
Groaning though, Tsuga realized she had in fact NOT hit the icy tundra of alaska. Good news and bad news. Good news was she could fix her OS in a heartbeat and re-calibrate her legs. Bad news was…she was in her and her machine's name sake. She had been set to be stationed in the desert tigers forces anyways…now she was here except instead of having her custom DiNN that was painted and teched out for her name sake of the desert viper..she had this high tech prototype.
As she stood, shakily, on the stand the demon king came to inspect her, or whatever had just fallen near it. So taking her heat shotel, which instead of just being curved as the weapon was known for, this one had multiple barbs poking from it, but taking it she thrust it at the demon king.
The gundam easily dodged it and tsuga could not help but taunt the enemy, "So you're the demon king! It's about time we met!" and with that she started work on her OS.
"And who are you? I`ve never heard of you in gundam Seed. ''said the pilot of the demon king. Gundam seed? What was that? Deciding the best way to find out was to ask she cried out, "gundam seed? The fuck is that!? This is the desert viper!" she declared before lunging at the demon king with one of its heat shotels. However her OS update had not gone through yet and so she went to fall flat on her face. Instead she used a maneuvering thruster to turn the fall into a tumble and came up under the demon king with her other free hand and tried to upper cut the gundam.
The demon king side stepped it and instead kneed her in the cockpit, grabbing her by her shoulders and doing so several more times before tossing the desert viper back. As the gundam stumbled inside…tsuga was barely phased. The G-armor system was doing its job and had stopped most of the shockwave from reaching her. Boosting back though the g-weapon pilot decided to reassess her target. That was her main mistake. As a ding came up to show she was finished updating her OS she felt her gundam get assaulted from behind as the demon king seemed to just stand there. It was then she noticed the two skirt spikes had launched and gone under the sand, coming up behind her.
From there the demon king raised its right arm and several loud bangs could be heard as it took a step towards her, pelting the desert viper in 200MM caliber rounds. To a normal mobile suit this would likely shred it. To a GAT series prototype this assault would severely hamper its power level and likely risk a repeat of the duel's fate.
But for the desert viper…this was nothing. As previously stated this gundam was…
intermission
"...As previously stated this gundam was…" tsuga started in on a monologue about how strong the desert viper was but lily interrupted her by flicking her nose.
"No. bad girl. You can't tell them I'm gonna sound all heroic and whatnot when you're just gonna make your own fights turn to your side. We both know we were both tired, exhausted from re-entry, and i was out of fuel and you had no back up. Yes you had the upper hand but…"said lily as she wanted tsuga to admit something.
Tsuga sighed and looked at the girls listening, neither of them caring one bit who won what fight or what. They just loved to hear this story. Even better when mom and dad fought over details if they were honest. "Ok…so it was a prototype itself. The zero system had stolen the reginlaze frame from the vesalius under the official guise of making a test bed for what would end up being variable phase shift armor. And they didn't know how the ahab wave reactor worked nor did they care except it gave them unlimited power. So naturally they didn't connect things properly."said tsuga as she looked at lily.
Lily smiled and nodded. "Now you can finish the fight properly, then I wanna get back to telling them what happened with the archangel and my side of the story."said lily as she gasped and the family knew what that meant, hands coming to her belly as they all giggled and enjoyed feeling the baby in her belly move.
Once that distraction passed, Tsuga nodded. "Fine fine…"
intermission
Tsuga grunted as she felt that barrage. Checking her power levels she groaned seeing the power levels fluctuating. "Fuck! The reactor must be acting up…"she said as she boosted the desert viper back. Initially the tails followed but stopped after a distance. She needed to fix this machine before she could properly take on the demon king so she used her thrusters to essentially fly/hover away in the direction she knew the desert tiger's base was.
Stopping after she realized she was not being pursued she got out of her machine, having it stand while she carefully walked around it outside. She could not help but grimace at the sight she found. While the armor had protected her and the reactor…it had chipped off in several places and in a couple the rounds had straight buried themselves in, causing the plates to flicker as the machine was still on with its armor active. Sighing tsuga got back on her lift to her cockpit and got inside. She would wait till morning to approach the desert tiger. Until then she put the gundams radar on passive to scan and alert her to any movement and grabbed an emergency blanket out of her emergency pack, covering herself she decided to sleep through the remaining night.

Murrue sighed as Mu explained their situation. He held a cup of coffee in his hand. Coffee. When was the last time they had a chance to actually enj…well try to enjoy the military grade coffee?
They had just finished getting the strike, demon king and the mobile armor into the hangar. The demon king had returned just as they started, lily claiming to have had to walk there due to her thrusters being out of fuel but at least she was back
The moebius zero was now out of commission unless Murdoch worked a miracle and converted it to work in atmosphere. But that's a "when pigs fly" scenario. For now Mu was set to start getting familiar with the skygraspers they now were in possession of. Since they were compatible with the striker packs they would be a bit easier for him to switch too then just a normal fighter.
Their main problem was that after Lily had helped them get Kira from his machine and to the med bay AND moved both suits inside, she herself had passed out. Thankfully she came to not long after and was awake long enough to drink some fluids and get into bed for a good rest. But kira…kira was another story. While the doctor had never done any real medical work on a coordinator, the fact lily was fast asleep while Kira seemed to be fighting for his life with his own body…yeah…lily was just tired.
In other words….they had two mobile suits and a jet along with the ships basic defenses. And until one of the two mobile suit pilots woke up they were down to a jet and their own wits.
Oh…and that's not the worst part. They weren't just deep in enemy territory…no…they were in the desert tigers territory. Yep…2 mobile suits and a jet reduced to just a jet for now…their situation was JUST GREAT. Oh…and if that wasn't bad enough Lily had taken the moment she was awake to inform them of a new prototype she had had to fight. That was somewhere in the area too…
intermission
Late in the evening the next day La flaga was going over the new skygraspers they got with murdoch.
"I looked through the manual last night. These things look like a blast. But does the fact that it can attach the striker packs make me a glorified courier?"asked mu as he looked over the bird.
Murdoch laughed and said, "lieutenant…oh sorry lieutenant commander. Knowing you you can get it anywhere."said murdoch as he began checking the cables tying down the skygrasper in place.
Mu groaned. "I know Admiral halberton arranged it…but what good is a promotion now? I mean don't get me wrong, I'm glad about the raise and all…but when am I gonna have time to spend it?"he asked as he looked over the skygraspers ladder and front wheel.
"The kids all got free promotions as well. I hear they officially made kira an ensign. Guess he's a real pilot now."said Murdoch as he tested the cable's strength.
Mu chuckled. "Yeah and the kiddos are all crewmen, second class. What a handful huh?"asked mu as he looked at murdoch.
"They better shape up quickly if they are going to be an official military. Speaking of the kids, how's Kira's fever? I heard it broke sometime in the morning." said murdoch.
Mu nodded. " yeah. I dunno what's more impressive, the strike or that kid's body. Oh speaking of the strike i`ve been meaning to ask. Why does he call it a gundam? I get the demon king is supposedly on a "gundam frame" so it's called a gundam but why the strike?"asked mu as he looked back to murdoch from the ladder of the skygrasper.
"Ah yeah. It has something to do with the OS. it shows up on the activation screen. I`ve heard lily call it a gundam now and then too. But she likely has never seen that screen so i dunno. Maybe they know something we don't?"asked Murdoch as he shrugged.
Murdoch shrugged as his techs were going about working on the demon king. It had taken some unseen damage and stress on the joints that lily hadn't initially noticed so they were fine tuning it and applying a fresh coat of the nao laminate armor paint.

Waltfeld was enjoying his coffee. But there was just something not right about it. It needed something. Hearing his second in command call from the door, he looked at it. "Enter!" from there dacosta came in and handed him a report. Looking it over he chuckled. "Looks like our lucky day. Another surprise visitor."said Waltfeld as he set the report down.
"First that girl and her mystery machine…now the ship the le creuset team failed to capture. Looks like we might even have a chance to save the duel and its pilot. We have orders to storm it and recover them at any cost before destroying the ship. But I think we can get them back another way."he said as he picked up another report on his desk. "The techies are about done with that mystery machine. Have them load it up on an MS truck and bring the girl here to the lesseps. We are gonna offer a good old prisoner exchange."stated Waltfeld as he got up and sipped his coffee.
Walking around his desk he grabbed his jacket. "And prepare five bucue's. If they won't hand him over willingly then we have to do what the higher ups want and charge in."said waltfeld as he left his office with dacosta.
intermission
A few hours later waltfeld was staged just a few dunes over from the archangel. As Waltfeld stood behind dacosta while he examined the ship he was sipping a new blend of coffee..again. His second was watching the ship through binoculars.
"Well dacosta, any sign of movement?"he asked as he looked out over the desert at the large ship. Dacosta dropped his binoculars and looked back at his commander. "No sir. Still silent with no activity."stated dacosta.
Waltfeld nodded. "Anything that relies too heavily on electronic waves on the earth's surface has it rough. With the N-jammers all around, she stays asleep. This is good. Let's hope we can get a radio transmission out to them. "He said as he turned and headed back to where his men were staged. 5 bucues, several helicopters, and a MS trailer containing what was listed as Bravo two, however thanks to their prisoner enlightening him on the whole situation, or what she claimed it to be. It was actually just some toy model, scaled up thanks to some system that allowed her to be here. Something about this being an anime blah blah. It was all nonsense to him. What he was more concerned with was the name she claimed to give the machine. The torment gundam. He wondered why it was given such a name.
Regardless he went to where they had staged a field comms tent and looked to his radio officer. "Any luck?" asked waltfeld as he sipped his coffee.

Kuzzey and a crewman were having a discussion about the N-jammer's when Tolle and mirallia came onto the bridge. They were just a little late to their shift. Neuman turned from his spot at the helm and looked back at them. "About time. Your station has been beeping for the past hour." stated neuman as he looked back to miriallia.
Mirialia blinked and looked at her station as she attached her earpiece. Gasping she shot out of her chair. "I have a radio contact from an unknown source! What should I do?"asked Mirialia as she was unsure with no commanding officer on the bridge.
Thankfully natarle showed up just as she said that and rushed to her station. "Put it through to my station. I`ll take the call as the acting commanding officer."she stated as she put on her own ear piece.
Mirialia nodded and directed the call.
"Finally we get through to you all. So listen. In case you're unaware this is Andrew waltfeld of the zaft ground forces. I`d like to speak to your captain about a potential trade that would benefit us both I think." stated waltfeld over the radio as he waited for a response.
"This is lieutenant natarle badgiruel, speaking on behalf of the archangel. Just what trade are you offering before I get my captain involved."said natarle as everyone on the bridge listened to hear what might be going on.
"Well to be honest this trade may come across better to the pilot of the demon king than you guys. You have a pilot by the name of yzak joule and his machine the duel."said waltfeld but he was interrupted by natarle.
"You mean our machine." she corrected.
Waltfeld could be heard sighing over the radio. "Fine. whatever. We want them both back. In exchange we will hand over the machine known to the demon king's pilot as the torment gundam and its pilot, asny smith. If you will fulfill this trade we will also give you time to potentially repair the machine and heal the pilot so it can help defend against our inevitable attack. Also as a sign of good faith I will hold off my attack till dawn to hear your answer. If you have not responded by then then I shall be forced to assault your ship and recover the pilot and machine by force." said waltfeld as he seemed to find this part to be boring when he yawned over the radio.
Natarle thought about it for a moment. "Ok…you say we have until dawn…that's only a few hours.''she stated. Sure the duel had been repaired but they might not know that.
"Don't worry about trying to field the duel. No matter what state it is in we will send an MS carrier truck with the torment and use it to recover the duel. All we ask is for the machine and its pilot. As further show of my good will I will personally come to take part in the exchange to show you I'm sincere in this act of goodwill."he said as he tried to sweeten the deal.
Natarle continued to think. "Let me inform my captain and I will have a signal to show you if we plan to take the deal or not."said natarle as she tried to think fast.
"And just what might the signal be?"he asked as he was curious what they might possibly do.
"If we accept the deal on your terms…we will fire off a set of retreat flares. That's red white and yellow incase you were unaware. Once they are launched, give us some time to open the hangar and we will meet you and your truck there."said natarle.
"Your terms are agreeable. I await your signal." he said and with that the transmission was cut.
Natarle got out of her chair and quickly rushed off the bridge. " I have to inform the captain of this. Bring the ship to level two battle stations. The desert tiger is out there somewhere poised to strike. We can't be caught off guard."she stated as she left the bridge.
Intermission
Lalarms blared all through the ship as it was called to level two battle stations.
Sai, who had been attempting to talk to flay not knowing she was in kira's room instead of her own bunk, sighed and ran off to go get to his post on the bridge.
Kira who had been in bed with flay jumped out of bed and quickly got his uniform on. Not bothering to really say anything to the naked girl in his bed he rushed off to the hangar.
On the way he met up with lily who sniffed the air as soon as he entered. "Smells like you just got out of bed with that flay girl. Seriously kid, you can do way better. That girl is a bundle of crazy last time I saw her."said Lily as she slipped on her bio weave suit over her underwear. Kira stopped mid dressing in his flight suit to glare at her.
"And just how can I do better? At Least she cares about me and everything i go through as a pilot."he said only to have lily's quick reactions just barely beat his coordinator reaction speed to where she grabbed his hand and pulled him close to her.
"Sex should never be an outlet for that. If you ever need someone to be intimate with and have some stress relief just come to me. I can give you more considering I know what you go through as a pilot. Forget flay. Let her focus on her strained relationship with sai."said lily as she let kira go and after a moment they both finished suiting up.
Just as they were about to head into the hangar the ready room opened not to mu coming to join them but instead the newly minted captain ramius.
"Lily! We have a problem. Kira don't go out there just yet. We brought the ship to ready status on the grounds the desert tiger is nearby. But he is offering a trade deal for the duel and its pilot."said murrue as a moment later a couple marines and mu brought yzak into the ready room.
"A trade deal? What could they have that is worth us giving up a valuable prisoner like him?"asked Lily as she seemed confused why this was being brought to her.
"Your friend, the one who showed up after you through that blackhole with all the containers…it seems she somehow was captured by the desert tiger and he is offering a direct trade, her and her machine for yzak and the duel."said murrue as she seemed worried about lily's reaction.
Lily sighed. So asny hadn't been able to leave the simulation like Lily was worried about. How she was captured given the power the torment would have had…Lily had no clue.
"I see. And you're willing to make this trade? Even though I went through one hell of a fight to capture him?"asked Lily as she looked at yzak. If only he had accepted her offer of joining her in tekkadan.
Murrue nodded. "The way I see it, as much as he is a valuable POW, if we can repair your friend's machine and get them in fighting condition it means we have one more gun defending this ship. We can always re-capture the duel and mr. joule. But I need your agreement so we can go through with it since it's your friend we are trading for."said murrue.
Lily nodded. "Do it. My friend isn't real military. I doubt she would hold up to any form of interrogation."said Lily as she turned and headed back into the hangar.
Murrue turned to Kira and said, "I don't want the desert tiger seeing you just yet. Stay in here or go back to your bunk. I will have them call you when we need you."said murrue to which kira nodded and took a seat there in the ready room.
Watching as they hauled yzak out, Kira wondered what it was like for the boy, to be a prisoner and be traded in such a manner.
intermission
Waltfeld smiled as in the dark night sky he clearly saw the three flares of an earth alliance retreat signal fly into the sky. "Looks like we have a deal. I'll be going in with the truck as per the agreement. If I don't radio back within an hour, launch an assault on the ship and assume I have been captured."said waltfeld to dacosta as he walked over to the MS truck that was carrying the torment and climbed into the passenger seat. A moment later the truck started and began heading to the archangel.
About 20 minutes later waltfeld was surprised to see the duel in an MS cage at the top of a ramp into the hangar of the archangel. If he had more time, Waltfeld would have much preferred to sit down and have a civilized cup of java with these people. They seemed sensible enough. War was messy and ruined the chance for friendships when enemies met.
Getting out he saw two women and a couple marines escorting yzak walking down the ramp. One woman was in a white officers uniform for the earth alliance. The other was in an orange and brown flight suit with an odd looking helmet. The pilot for the demon king must have been the one in the flight suit.
He helped a woman in a similar flight suit out of the truck, she was handcuffed for the moment but he planned to remove them once he was certain they were handing off yzak.
As the group met at the base of the ramp, Waltfeld smiled and looked to yzak. "You hurt kid?"he asked as he tried to assess whether yzak was injured or not. It didn't look like it but he wanted to be sure.
Yzak looked down and away. "No sir…just my pride."he said as he looked back at the duel.
The demon king's pilot stepped forward next. "Might I make a suggestion to make this transition a little smoother?" asked Lily as she looked to the torment.
"Sure, I'm open to suggestions. This is a little tense so anything to ease that."said waltfeld.
"I'd like to suggest we exchange mobile suits first. This way we can ensure that we won't betray each other when our pilots' lives are on the line. Now granted we can't move the duel, the strike pilot is sleeping off heat exhaustion from re-entry, so you will have to move it onto the truck. I on the other hand can move the torment. Do you have someone who can move the duel?"asked lily. Waltfeld nodded.
"My driver is a capable pilot as well. What do you say we also keep the PS armor off on the duel so if my driver gets any crazy ideas…you can just steal the cockpit again."said waltfeld.
Lily nodded. "Sounds fair and in exchange I'll leave the torments weapons on its back so if I decide to betray you you can easily see it coming."said Lily as she held out her hand. "Fair to you captain?"asked lily. Murrue nodded and waltfeld shook Lily's hand. From there he motioned for his driver to come over. After explaining the deal the driver began to walk up the ramp while lily climbed up onto the MS truck and began the process of making her way into the torments cockpit.
Once inside, Lily was surprised to see it was more developed than the one her demon king had. It was more of a proper cockpit and as she hooked into the alaya-vijnana system inside she figured out how to turn it on. As the monitors came on and she sat the gundam up she could see how murrue was surprised by the gundam's size. Even more so she realized she had activated a sub arm and used it to help stabilize herself.
Waltfeld even looked surprised, as though he had not seen the sub arms in use. Whoops. Oh well it was bound to be used in the next battle. She was so used to feeling her tails by now she had not even thought about the sub arms or how they would activate. Looking to the duel the driver had activated it and was walking it down the ramp carefully. Getting off the MS truck bed lily stood the torment gundam up and wobbled on the sand for a moment but it quickly corrected itself as she felt her instincts with the feed kick in and she was able to balance and begin walking towards the archangel.
As the two gundam passed each other, Waltfeld smiled and looked to murrue. "Well with that out of the way what do you say we get this portion of the trade out of the way."said waltfeld as he uncuffed asny and gently pushed her forward. The marines did the same but when yzak went to turn on them they quickly raised their rifles. But before they could fire, Waltfeld barked, "yzak stop! I promised a fair trade and I am a man of my word. Get your ass over here and prepare to depart. You will have your chance to kill them when we attack later."said waltfeld as yzak turned and looked surprised.
Waltfeld waved him off. "Oh don't be surprised. I already told them I would give them time to let Miss Smith recover and ready her machine. If I am going to sink the ship where your team failed, I will do so with it at full strength." stated waltfeld as he wanted an honest fight.
Yzak nodded and slinked over to waltfeld, rubbing his wrists as he turned around to glare at the archangel crew.
Murrue stepped forward and held her hand out. "As much as we may be enemies, thank you for doing this. Miss solace and miss smith are from another world, and quite a harsh one from what miss solace has informed us. It will be nice for her to have someone from her world on the ship."stated murrue.
Waltfeld chuckled. "No joke? I thought she was just blowing smoke. Well I'm glad I could reunite friends. I'm sure yzak's team will be happy to see him."said waltfeld as the sun began to rise behind them. Waltfeld took a step back as the duel was loaded onto the truck.
"I must admit I was not expecting such an interaction with the enemy. But I guess that's what we are…enemies. It's quite a shame. I feel if the war was not raging around us we might have been good friends."said murrue. Waltfeld nodded.
"Same….welp i better get going. Can't keep my men waiting forever."said waltfeld as he went back and climbed into the truck along with yzak. He quickly radioed back to his men and began to drive back to where they were staged.
With that murrue and the marines headed back inside and decided to prepare for the desert tigers eventual attack.

Ok so another chapter is done. I know I said I would take a few days to go over previous chapters and I did for the first chapter, fixing like 2 things…but otherwise I didn't do much. I got too excited to write this chapter. Eventually I'll tucker out writing and I'll do a revision then. Until then I'm gonna keep banging out chapters like it's nobody's business.
As always please read and review and I hope you enjoyed it.
